The Legacy of Lucifer, Part 9
Israel has over the passage of time become rebellious. To humble God’s people God used the rich and decadent Kingdom of Babylon to destroy Jerusalem leaving nothing. God confirms to Daniel the eventual rebuilding of Jerusalem with a timing of 70 weeks of years (490 years). This rich tapestry of timing includes the arrival of the Messiah, The Tribulation Period, and the Antichrist. The archangel Gabriel now provides to Daniel detailed instructions of things to come. After 69 weeks of years the Messiah will be put to death and be resurrected and the Hebrews will deny the Christ. The Christ will now turn to the Gentiles who will accept Him. And the Romans will destroy the Temple and enslave the Hebrews. 1 week (7 years) now remains for the Tribulation Period, the Antichrist, and Lucifer’s destructive plan.
