Dear Rev. Angley,

I started coming to your ministry in 1956 with two of my children—Rocky, who was almost two years old, and Pati, who was six months old. In the first service I attended, I was saved and received the Holy Ghost baptism.

When Rocky was born, his bronchial tube was enlarged; and it had a growth on it. The doctors gave him a few treatments, but they told me he would not live more than three years. Everyone kept telling my mom that she would have to get me used to the idea that he wasn’t going to be here long, but I just knew he would not die; and he is alive today. I had the faith that he would live, and faith works.

In 1960, I had migraine headaches. I could not be in light or around noise. I had to be real quiet, or I would become very sick and vomit. I came before you, and you laid hands on me; and God healed me of those migraines. I haven’t had any since I received prayer.

In 2008, I woke up one morning and began vomiting, and it wouldn’t stop. I thought it was the flu. My brother came and took me to the hospital; and by the time I got there, my right eyelid had closed, and I couldn’t get it open. The doctors tried to pry it open, but it just would not open. They suspected I had an aneurism, so they ran an MRI of my head; and that’s what it was. The doctors told me that the aneurism was about to erupt, so they had to transport me by ambulance to another hospital which had the proper facilities to repair the aneurism.

To make the repair, the doctors first had to go in through my groin area using a little camera to make sure the artery they wanted to use to bypass the aneurism would be able to take the insertion of a balloon. Once they determined the artery could be used, they began to insert the balloon. As they did that, I suffered two strokes. The little camera also showed the doctors that my heart was very bad, and they said I would have to have open-heart surgery before they could do the surgery on my artery.

Rocky’s wife was with me to help me make decisions since I could not make them for myself at the time. She was also able to get you to pray for me, and you had the people in the congregation praying for me, too. After prayer, the doctor took me to do a heart catheterization. He was sitting right beside me as he worked, and he soon stood up and asked why I was sent to him. He said I had a good heart. God gave me that good heart and a perfect miracle, and I have medical proof of that.

The next morning, my doctor and six other doctors came into my room. At first, they all just looked at me without saying a word. Then as they were getting ready to leave, my doctor said to me, “You really did have a bad heart, but now you have a good one.” I asked him about my eye that was stilled closed, and he just said that I should keep praying for that, too. My doctor knew that I had received a heart miracle, and that’s why he brought the other doctors to see me.

The doctors then went on to perform my artery surgery, and everything went just fine—they were able to keep the aneurism from erupting. Then God took away all the effects from the two strokes. The entire time I was in the hospital, the Lord was giving me one miracle after another. I give God all the glory, and my doctor did, too.

Dear Rev. Angley,

I want to tell about the wonderful miracle my son, Sammy, received before he went home to be with the Lord. By him receiving this miracle, it allowed him to receive salvation before he passed away. Sammy was an ornery kid, and he needed the Lord; and God kept him alive long enough to find God.

When Sammy was a baby, I dedicated him to the Lord; and I always prayed over him. Although I didn’t understand all about it, it seemed I knew in my heart that he was going to die young; but I never told anyone about it. I just kept praying for him to find God. As my children were growing up, I had prayer time with them; and we would read the Bible together. I kept them in Sunday school and did everything I knew to do.

Sammy was ornery; but he had a tender heart, and he would always promise to do better. He would sneak around to drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes and marijuana, but I always found out because prayer brings results. I always kept trying to talk to him and reason with him, and I even took him into one of the preacher’s offices a couple of times. Finally, I had to take him out of public school and homeschool him to keep him away from the wrong influences, and he did do a little better. Sammy continued going his own way, but he promised he would find the Lord when the time was right.

Sammy had a heart murmur all of his life, but it seemed to get a little better as he got older. He saw a heart specialist regularly, and the specialist said Sammy’s heart was getting better; so I began to think that maybe he would be all right.

When Sammy was about 15, he had an episode in which he had a lot of pain in his chest. I began praying and asking God not to let him die because he wasn’t saved, but I also prayed for him to be so afraid of that pain that he would never again smoke cigarettes or do any of the other sinful, harmful things he was doing to his body. I took Sammy to his regular doctor who did an EKG, and the results were good. I told the doctor Sammy was also having pain in his legs, and I asked if that was normal. He said that young boys can experience growing pains and that Sammy was getting a little taller.

The doctor said that I could also take Sammy to his heart specialist, and I was going to do that; but when we got home, Sammy said the pain was subsiding. Then the next morning, he said all the pain was gone and that he was all right.

At the time, Sammy had a part-time job; and he started to come out of his orneriness. He was very sweet towards me, and he would always kiss me on the cheek before he left for work. He was that kind of a son, and he treated me real good.

Six months later, at the end of the summer of 2005, Sammy and I had a good conversation about the Lord. I started crying as I reminded him that he really needed Jesus, and he started crying, too. It really seemed to get through to him that time. I asked him to go to church with me. Now, Sammy had been going to church, but he would just sit in his seat like a knot on a log; but this time, he went down to the altar when the altar call was given. I was so excited as I watched his hands go up and saw that he was praying. Sammy had never gone to the altar or done that before.

After that day, he always went to church when he wasn’t working; and he would always go to the altar. He also started tithing. I knew something had happened to him because he was a different boy, and everyone in the family noticed what a different person he had become, too. He even got his hair cut short and was excited to show his great uncle Ron how he had changed.

On February 17, 2006, my daughter, her friend and I had returned home from shopping, and we noticed someone lying on the ground in front of the apartment building. It was Sammy—he had suffered an aortic aneurysm and passed away.

Because he had died in front of the building, the coroner had to examine him; and that was actually the exciting part. After the examination, the coroner asked me if Sammy had experienced any pain prior to this day. I told him that a year ago, Sammy had complained of bad pain in his chest. The coroner then explained that he could see there had been a huge tear in Sammy’s aorta area but that it had healed when it never should have. He went on to say that with an aorta tear as extreme as Sammy’s was, he should have died. He was amazed at how the aorta had healed.

After the coroner had explained everything to me, the Lord took me back to the time when Sammy had experienced the chest pain and reminded me of how I had prayed for his soul. God spared Sammy so that he could get saved, and he is safe in Heaven with the Lord today.

Dear Rev Angley,

I am one of the Cathedral Trio members who travels with you on all of your missionary journeys; so I have seen many miracles, and I have received miracles, too. About two or three years ago, I was in pretty bad shape with heart and breathing problems. During that time, we went on a crusade trip to Africa. In one of the services, you asked The Cathedral Trio to sing a song about marching around God’s throne; and during that song, we always march around the platform. Normally, that is not a problem for me; but this time, my lungs were filling up with fluid, and I felt like I was suffocating. I could hardly breathe, and it took me quite a while to recover after leaving the platform.

When we got back from Africa, I was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat and very high blood pressure; but there was also something else wrong with my heart that was causing my condition. I told God that if He would heal me and take care of whatever my problem was, I would do my part and take care of myself. You prayed for me, and God healed me. I am off my blood pressure medicine, and I have not had any heart palpitations. Just this week, I ran 3.1 miles two days in a row with no fluid backup; and I give God all the glory! He did His part, and I’m doing mine; and that’s what it takes.

The next miracle I want to tell you about has to do with my back. About eight years ago, I was moving some heavy things, and I hurt my back. When I woke up the next morning, I could not move without screaming in pain. I tried to stand up, but I couldn’t. I had never had such horrible pain.

My legs were really shaky because I had no strength in my back. I was able to get prayer from you; and afterward, I was able to stand, and I knew that was my sign. I was still in pain, but I made sure I was in my place for the Lord.

We were supposed to be leaving for Africa in just three or four weeks, so I would go to work and lie down on my back or my side with a pillow while the other two Cathedral Trio members and I practiced our songs for the trip. I did whatever it took to learn the songs and be ready for the trip, and I kept getting prayer from you. Sometimes, we have to contend for the faith; and we have to fight. I was not going to let my back stop me from doing God’s divine will.

One night as I was singing a solo onstage, you said you saw God’s divine pillar of fire move over the people. I actually felt the warmth of it as it came over me, and I knew God had moved for me. The next day, I went for a walk to test it out; and the pain was gone. I ended up walking for a mile into town, and I had no problem. God had healed me!

Well, that seemed to be the end of it; but the week we returned from Africa, I was driving down the highway at about 55 or 60 miles an hour when the hood of my car suddenly flew up. I couldn’t see a thing, so I slowed down and tried to pull over to the side; but when I did, I ran into a car that had been abandoned on the side of the road. The accident reinjured my back, and the pain was worse than ever.

Again, I kept getting prayer; and I would say in my mind, “I am going to give the devil another blow and get another anointed prayer from Rev. Angley.” When the pain started to get even worse, I finally went to a specialist. After the tests, the specialist said that I had a huge, herniated disc and that I would need surgery.

I was determined not to have surgery, so I kept getting prayer; and after the MRI, you started telling me, “You have your miracle.” I would be in a lot of pain; and I would think, “These false symptoms really hurt, but I know I have my miracle.” The pain continued to get worse and worse until it was the worst it had ever been. It didn’t seem like I was getting anywhere, but you kept telling me to trust God; and when I did, that is when the miracle came.

I remember waking up one day in so much pain, but I was determined to get to church. I had to drive myself there; so I was sitting sideways in the car, trying to keep out of pain. My window was down, and I remember screaming because it hurt so much; but I was determined to get prayer one more time.

When I got to church, some people helped me get to you. When you prayed, you again let me know that God had already moved. Well, within three days after that prayer, that was the end. When I was at my worst that is when God moved. I had to fight, but I kept trusting that I had my miracle; and then the pain was gone.

After the pain left, I went back to the same specialist. He tested me because he wanted to do surgery, and he asked me to do the same things that I could not do before. I was able to bend over real fast; and when I came back up with no problem, he was shocked. He had seen the condition I had been in, and he knew that only surgery would fix it. He finally said, “Well, I’m not going to fix something that isn’t broken. Besides, I know where you go to church; I have heard all about it.” That was a good testimony to him, and I thank the Lord for it all.

Dear Rev. Angley,

My husband and I are so blessed to be a part of this great Jesus world outreach ministry. The Bible says in Mark 16:17,18 that in the name of Jesus, believers shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. We have received many healings and miracles of God through this ministry, and I would like to share a few of them.

I have been healed of endometriosis, mitral valve prolapse and sinus infections. God has given me miracles for my nervous system; and through prayer from you, God gave me a blood transfusion. I had fought fatigue for most of my life; but it became so extreme during one of your services that at the end of the service, I went to you for prayer. When you prayed for me, the power of God shot through me. To my amazement, when I opened my eyes, I was so alert and strong that in that moment, I felt like I would never need to sleep again. Even my breathing had improved.

Another one of my afflictions started one Sunday. I was eating some ice cream, and the spoon felt funny as I was trying to put it into my mouth. My husband and some others around me grew concerned over the appearance of my lips. I didn’t give it much thought, but my husband was so concerned that he asked one of your associate pastors, Rev. Machamer, to pray for me.

By the next morning, the entire right side of my face had drooped; and I had no control over that side of my face. My husband was very worried, so I got prayer from you. When you prayed for me, you told me, “We believe in good doctors, so it is okay to go to the doctor or to the hospital to get checked.” And that is what we did.

The doctors ran some tests and found out I had Bell’s Palsy; but it didn’t make sense to them because they said Bell’s Palsy is initiated by an ear infection, a tooth infection or a sinus infection. I had not had anything like that, and they did not find any signs of an infection in my body. Looking back, I truly believe that the healing began when God moved for me through Rev. Machamer’s prayer that Sunday.

This all took place the week of the staff Christmas party at the Cathedral Buffet, the restaurant owned by the ministry. I am blessed with the responsibility of being the manager of God’s Buffet, but going through this valley was a rough experience for me because I have people under me I am responsible to encourage. It is also my responsibility to interact with the customers, and I looked so awful that I was concerned they would be scared away. Nevertheless, I knew the Lord wanted me to be in my place, so I pressed on.

The doctors had told me that it would take several months or possibly up to a year to recover, if I would recover at all; but you kept praying for me, and I decided I was going to use faith in God. I also knew that if I was going to have to walk through that valley, that somehow God would get the glory out of it.

I praise God that He did move for me, and I recovered in just a few, short weeks. God did it!

Dear Rev. Angley,

I am very happy to inform you that I received your letters and the two books. I am very grateful of the blessings which God gives me through you. I pray each and every day that God will bless you more and more with His spiritual gifts because you do not hold back what God has given to you.

I am about to finish reading the book The Reality of the Person of the Holy Spirit. Your books are drawing the Holy Spirit close to me in such an amazing way. People have said that a person cannot feel the presence of the Holy Spirit, but I always feel Him once I start reading your books.

Thank you very much for your prayers concerning my physical condition. I have improved so much, and I feel strong; and my loss of appetite is now over. I have gained confidence in the works and powers of God, and I really believe that God heals through the name of Jesus Christ.

I am happy for the glory of God which is shining through you. God bless you; and I believe that as long as we put everything in the hands of Jesus, there is no jailer.

Dear Rev. Angley,

I greet you all in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. I want to share with you a praise report about my aunt. She was sick with an evil disease, and she could not walk. She could not even write, and I helped her to write a letter to you about her sickness.

She received your blest cloth, and she pinned the blest cloth to her clothing. My aunt is now healed, and she is healthy. She can even walk. God healed and delivered my aunt from the evil disease.

Many thanks,

Dear Rev. Angley,

I received the letter you wrote and the book, Love is the Road. I have received great knowledge from this book. Thank you very much; I am grateful indeed.

Your prayers have brought me and my family a great deliverance. The witchcraft that had bound and chained me during my childhood has been broken. God has revealed and demolished the cause and breakdown of my marriage. Also, the curse that was passed down to my children from their grandmother has been broken, and the hindrances in their marriages and the obstacles that they had on their jobs have been unchained by God. Praise the Lord!

I am seeing amazing things because God has given you a great blessing to enrich other Christians in the entire world.

Your brother,

Dear Rev. Angley,

Showers of blessings to you and your staff. I thank you very much for praying for me. I went to the hospital for a checkup because my hand and foot were swollen. The doctor bore a device into my leg so a camera could see what was happening with my heart.

I don’t know what the doctor did; but when I woke up the next day, I couldn’t walk, and I didn’t seem to know myself. I felt very dizzy, and I prayed to the Lord Jesus Christ because I know nothing is too difficult for Him.

Later, I spoke to my sister in Suriname, South America, and she told me that she had called your prayer line; and all of you had prayed for me. I must tell you, Pastor Angley, that I feel much better now.

May the Lord bless you, Pastor, I love you.

Prayer Line Praise Reports...

  • A woman from Portage Lakes, Ohio, USA

She called the prayer line about her knees. She was going to have surgery for knee replacements. After prayer, the doctor said she no longer needed surgery.

  • A lady from Michigan, USA

She called to say that in the 1970’s while living in Ohio, she accidently tuned in to the Ernest Angley Hour. She placed her hand on the screen when Rev. Angley was praying for the viewers; and within 10 minutes, she received a miracle for hives on her legs that she had suffered with for two years.

  • A woman from Vacaville,California, USA

My neighbor’s husband had a heart problem. The doctors didn’t think he would make it. In fact, they were beginning to make funeral arrangements. I called in several times for prayer. He went in for a stress test, and tests revealed his heart was fine; and they did not have to do a procedure on his heart. They didn’t expect this outcome. His wife wanted me to thank the prayer line counselors.
