We Will Be True
by Ernest Angley
October 2012
As you read this message, you must ask yourself, “Will I be true to the Lord?” I have decided to be true to Him 100 percent no matter what it costs me; and I will do anything the Lord wants me to do. I won’t live by my feelings at any time; I will live by faith.
God is true to us, and He will not allow the doubt of others to keep Him from fulfilling what He says. For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar (Romans 3:3,4).
You have to be true to the truth and to the will of God just like Jesus was when He was here. He said, Father, not my will, but thine, be done (Luke 22:42). Every time my heart beats, it says, “Lord, your will be done.” When the Lord calls on me for a long fast of 21 days or 40 days, I never refuse because I know it will bring more of His power. You may think it is too much of a sacrifice, but Jesus sacrificed; and it is hard to tell how many 40-day fasts He had. He said, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). Today, many preachers, priests and church members do not have God’s power operating in their lives because they don’t fast, pray and live in the Word; and they cannot have signs, wonders and miracles any other way.
We must look to God and say, “We will do anything, Lord.” No matter what He wants done, we must know we can do it through prayer and fasting. Jesus said, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23). At that same time, Jesus told the disciples, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29); and real Bible fasting can only be done through the love of God.
Use Divine Love
What does the love of God do? It saves the soul and heals the body of all manner of sicknesses and diseases. Jesus brought that love, but are you true to it? Jesus dictated seven letters to John, one for each of the churches mentioned in the book of Revelation; and He told the first church that they were not true to that love. That church had done some wonderful works; but Jesus said, Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love (Revelation 2:4). What is that first love?—Heaven’s perfect love that casteth out all fear. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear (I John 4:18). So many Christians are afraid today because they do not have perfect love. You can pray all you want and still never pray your fear away; but when you have Heaven’s perfect love and the Holy Spirit baptism, the Spirit will use that love in your heart to cast out all fear.
The devil binds with fear; but the Bible says, For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (II Timothy 1:7). That says it all, and we can have it. I decided long ago that I was not going to live in fear because the Lord does not give us fear; He gives us faith.
The faithful will walk in the steps of Jesus by divine faith and divine love, but how do you treat that love? In I Corinthians 13, you will find Heaven’s definition of divine love which begins, Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity [love], I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity [love], I am nothing (I Corinthians 13:1,2). You must read the whole chapter of I Corinthians 13 because you will not find that description of love anywhere else.
Do you have divine love? The Lord said that no matter how many good works you do, if you do not have divine love, you are nothing. But you are something when you have the love of God inside, when you are true to that love and when you give over to it. If you are not true to that love all the time and you fuss, gossip, look at things you have no business looking at, go places you have no business going and have conversations with people about others, then you are just an empty shell…and you are not ready for the one flight out.
When you give over to perfect love, it will keep your tongue holy. Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile (Psalm 34:13). When I was in grade school, I had a wonderful, Holy Ghost-filled Sunday school teacher who took the time to embroider a little keepsake for each student that said, “Keep thy Tongue from Evil”; and I kept that for years.
Good Sunday school teachers can encourage children’s hearts because they plant the seed of truth. When I became a preacher, some of my former Sunday school teachers would travel for miles to be in my services; and they would laugh, cry and rejoice as God moved for the people because they knew they had invested in me.
Perfect Love Does Not Sin
Adam and Eve were created in perfect love, but they sinned against it. God had given them divine love and faith to keep them away from the tree of death, and they had been given the message of God. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die (Genesis 2:16,17). The Bible does not tell us how long they were true to perfect love before they sinned, but we do know that they did not remain true. After Adam and Eve had sinned, God placed cherubims with fiery swords at the Garden gate so nobody could get in. So he [God] drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life (Genesis 3:24). Adam and Eve had not been true but had failed, and they could not get back to God.
Do you live free from sin? That is the only way to live if you want to go to Heaven because sin cannot enter there. If you commit any willful sin, you will go to hell. Most ministers today preach that everybody sins, and many of them do not even believe in the Virgin Birth; but I know one thing about those who preach that message—they are sinning. I live free from sin, and so do many people in my congregation. That is why God is able to move in such a mighty way and why people come to Grace Cathedral from all over the world to receive their miracles and healings.
The Second Adam, Jesus, came because the first Adam had sold out to the devil and was not true to God. Jesus had to go to the Cross to make it possible for us to get into spiritual Eden. He shed His blood on Calvary and offered it on the altar of God for our sins. Then the message went forth, “Whosoever will can come into Eden.” And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely (Revelation 22:17).
Take Up Your Cross
Do you really believe in Christ’s divine blood and are you true to it? Do you believe it is the only way to get rid of your sins and enter Heaven? Jesus said, I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture (John 10:9). God tried to use the blood of animals, but He was never pleased with it because it could not take away sin. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure (Hebrews 10:4,6).
God would come down on the Day of Atonement and cleanse the people of Israel, but they would just go back into sin the next day. There was a veil separating them from God, and many of them would stand outside and long to get in to God; but today, we no longer have to stand outside. Jesus brought us inside through the new and living way. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh (Hebrews 10:19,20). Jesus brought us by way of the Cross, and the way of the Cross leads home.
Are you true to the Old Rugged Cross, and are you carrying the glorious cross He has given you? And he [Jesus] said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me (Luke 9:23). Take up your cross today—not a cross to die on but a cross to live for. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service (Romans 12:1).
The Fruits and Gifts of the Spirit
When we find Eden, we will find peace and joy unspeakable and full of glory (I Peter 1:8). We will find the One who said, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10).
Jesus brought the fruits of Heaven, and the Lord told me they were far greater than all the fruits of nature found in Eden. God’s people are greatly blessed today to have the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance (Galatians 5:22,23). Do you have all of these fruits, and have you been true to them? Does your life bear witness that you are true to the Lord Jesus Christ and to what He brought? He brought nothing less than divinity for all, but the disciples did not always use it. When Jesus said to the disciples, O ye of little faith (Matthew 6:30), He meant they were using human faith instead of divine faith because Jesus never called divine faith anything but big faith. He said if you have divine faith the size of a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you (Matthew 17:20). The mountains of sickness, disease and disobedience will all be moved away through divinity.
God’s Gifts in Action
There are not only nine fruits of the Spirit but also nine fantastic gifts of the Spirit. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues (I Corinthians 12:8-10).
Do you ever doubt any one of God’s gifts, and do you yield to them when they are in operation? They work in a wonderful way on the mission fields. The Lord discerns the diseases of the people, and it amazes me as He reveals them one after another. He lets those who are receiving know who they are by giving their initials or the initials of a loved one, and even people with AIDS receive fantastic miracles.
I am a believer, and so are my workers. We are not afraid of diseases; and we do not back away from people with AIDS, leprosy or any other disease. My workers go into AIDS houses where other preachers who do not live close to God are afraid to go. One preacher had people make a walkway for him through the crowds in Africa so nobody could touch him, and he would not shake hands with people when he went in and out of his hotel. I stop and shake hands with all kinds of people, and I pray for them. My workers meet and talk with people right on the streets, and many get saved. Divine love is the answer.
Angel and I went into a leper colony in Cuba, and I even sat down beside the bed of a leper and ministered to that person. Jesus was not afraid of people or their diseases, so why should we be afraid? He told us, Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27).
People are so afraid that they will catch this disease or inherit that disease. It is true that diseases run in families; but when you get saved, that disease will stop with you if you believe. You can be healed, and the disease will no longer run in your family; but you have to conquer it first.
God Is with You
Do you believe that the Lord is living and working in you? Paul said, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me (Galatians 2:20). When the devil and all of his demons come against you, you must say like Paul did, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13). Paul also said, In all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us (Romans 8:37). You will be more than a conqueror when you are true.
We owe everything to God, and I never say no to Him. He is subject to wake me up at any time; and even if I have slept for only five or ten minutes, I get out of bed. I am ready to meet with God and to pray for whomever He wants me to pray for. I bring people, their burdens and their heartaches to God.
When people lose a loved one, I pray that God will soothe their tortured souls. I have been there, and I know what it feels like to lose someone you love better than anybody else in the world. I know what it is like to feel as if you are dying and to feel that you cannot go on breathing without that loved one…but Jesus is there to help us.
When God took my wife, Angel, home, that was the deepest valley I have ever been in; but the Lord was so real to me at that time. He told me it was His divine will to have taken Angel; and He said, “By me taking her when I did, she will bring more souls into the Kingdom than if I had left her with you.” Then I told God, “If I have ever believed you, I have to believe you now.”
It seemed I was dying one death after another, and I was in such an awful condition that my speech started skipping. I almost hemorrhaged to death two different times as the blood just poured out of me in big clots, and I wouldn’t have cared if I had died; but I knew I had to live for the people.
Through it all, I was true to God’s Word and to His promises. I was true to the One who had died for me, and only through Him would I ever learn to live again. He would speak to me and say, “I am the Lord who walketh with thee.” I am sure He said that thousands of times down through the years, and He would make it so real to me.
About six weeks after Angel had gone, I was crying my heart out in her office at our home; and I don’t know whether it was Jesus or an angel, but it felt like a human being had come up behind me and wrapped an arm around me. That did something to me, and I never hurt as much after that. I still cried at times, but the Lord was able to comfort me and to help me; and He will do the same for you if you are true to Him and to His Word.
The Divine Blood Brings Miracles
You have to be true to the blood Jesus shed at the whipping post. Do you really believe in physical healing and miracles with all of your heart, or do you doubt? Jesus said, And these signs shall follow them that believe…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18). Do you really believe that, and do you expect miracles like the Lord wants us to? Jesus never healed people of just one thing; He healed them all over. Go to the four Gospels in the Bible and trace His steps, and you will see that He did perfect works. And as many as touched him were made whole (Mark 6:56).
The apostles had that same power through the Holy Ghost; and when Peter’s shadow would fall on the sick and afflicted, people were made well. They brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one (Acts 5:15,16).
The Lord has anointed me to call down His healing power upon the people. He paid for it at the whipping post; and Peter said, By whose stripes ye were healed (I Peter 2:24). Your miracle or healing has already been bought and paid for, so why do you doubt it? I never carry doubt around; I put it all under the blood.
Deliverance for Body and Soul
God is healing all manner of people today who believe the whole Word of God, and He is even healing those in high places. One of the governors in Rwanda had suffered a stroke that he had never recovered from, and he had been paralyzed for eight years. He came to one of my crusade services, and the people watched God make him whole right before their very eyes. His speech came to normal, and he could lift his arm that had been paralyzed. The people went wild when he gave his testimony the following night and showed them that he had perfect control over his body all because of Jesus Christ.
God’s miraculous power also delivers thousands from witchcraft, voodooism and all kinds of demonic spirits and darknesses of the devil. We shine the light of the Gospel upon people; and for many of them, it is the very first time they have heard the truth. The Gospel light melts hard hearts; and as they begin to yield, their eyes, their countenances and their voices begin to change. Then they smile with heavenly sunshine! That makes every sacrifice worthwhile.
I am true to everything God wants. I live in His very presence and ponder over His Word at all hours. I find such strength from the Word and the powers of God, but you have to be true to the whole Word of God. You have to believe it all; but sadly, many teachers and preachers don’t. The Lord said, If any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book (Revelation 22:19). If you take anything out of God’s book, He will take your name out of His Book of Life.
The Lord told me years ago that even Pentecostal preachers would see the miracles of God in my services and reject them. They would say they were not of God and blaspheme against the Holy Ghost. That thought was unthinkable at that time; but today, numbers of ministers have already done just that, so I go on and let them be.
Jesus Died for You and Me
Are you true to Christ’s crucifixion? I have walked up Golgotha’s road many times and heard Him cry, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me (Matthew 27:46)? How would you have felt if it had been your son who had been crying those words? The Lord Himself told me that when Christ died, it was the only time He had ever used all of His love; and He had no more love to offer. God could have come down while Jesus was on the Cross, but He turned His back and closed His ears to block out that awful cry because He couldn’t take it.
Jesus willingly left the throne of His Father in Heaven, took off His beautiful robe and laid aside His wonderful crown for over 30 years. I am sure the angels cried when Jesus left Heaven; and they must have cried even more when audacious men beat Him nearly to death at the whipping post, crowned Him with thorns, nailed Him to a tree and left Him to die. Jesus’ beautiful hands were scarred, the hands that have healed thousands all over the world.
A Miracle Family
I saw so many miracles as a child, and I never doubted any of them. My daddy had asthma; and although he was big and strong, he would become helpless when he had those attacks. His eyes would become wide in fright when he could not catch his breath; and in that day, doctors could do nothing to help him.
One time, Daddy got so bad that we were up all night; so somebody went to get the pastor. She was a real truth believer, and she came at about 7 a.m.; and when she laid hands on my daddy, he was instantly healed. That miracle changed our home completely! If God had never done anything else in our home, I would still praise Him for all eternity for that miracle.
At another time, my mother was dying with pneumonia. She was at the point where she couldn’t speak, and you could hear her labored breathing all over the house. I was just a sinner boy, but she motioned for me to get her Bible and to open it and place it on her chest. When a preacher arrived and laid hands on my mother, she was instantly healed. She could hardly wait for the preacher to leave so she could get up and get dressed; and in just a short while, she was in the kitchen singing glorious songs and praises unto the Lord as she fixed breakfast for her family. When you are true to the Lord and to His promises, He will move.
My family believed in the power of God, and Mom and Dad taught us that we could not sin and go to Heaven…and they never compromised. When they started attending the little Pentecostal church in our town, their family members rose up against them, especially my mother’s side; but she never let it stop her. She loved the Word of God and sang songs that praised the Lord, and she stayed true to the Gospel. The whole family lived in and breathed that holy atmosphere, and it placed something deep within me that has helped me to stay true to the Gospel and to preach it without compromise.
Just Like Jesus
When you believe and are true to the whole Gospel, you make no room for doubt. Instead, you make room for prayer, fasting and living in the Word. You shun evil and accept righteousness and holiness because you realize that without holiness, you will never see the face of God. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).
Do you honor God like you should? Do you go anywhere He would not go or do anything He would not do? God said, Be ye holy; for I am holy (I Peter 1:16). The Bible also says we should walk in Christ’s steps. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth (I Peter 2:21,22). Jesus never sinned or gossiped, and I seek to be just like Him.
When I don’t know what to do about something, I ask myself, “What would Jesus do?” If I’m not sure of what He would do, I take it to the Word. The great Word of God is a love letter from God’s heart to you, and the Lord told me when He gave me His gifts that the Word would be my safety. If the Word did not confirm something, I was to throw it out; and I have done that for all these years.
An unholy tongue does not match the Word; and the Bible says, If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain (James 1:26). It will be sad if your tongue cannot get through the gate of Glory. If you have an unholy tongue, you have an unholy heart; and you will never make it to Heaven that way. I have warned people about gossip over and over; and if they do not listen, they may not have a deathbed to repent on.
No Sin in Divine Light
Do you really believe Jesus came to Earth, and have you been true to His first coming? If you believe in all that He brought and taught, then you are being true to it; but you have to accept it all with no doubt. The Lord brought divine light saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life (John 8:12). I am true to that light, but are you? People saw the light when Christ was here, but many of them were not true to it. They sat in darkness and died in darkness, and so it is with many people today. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil (John 3:19).
Many people do not want the light, and that is why so many ministers don’t preach against sin. They preach a little message of love, but it is only false love because God’s true love has strict discipline in it. He plainly says, The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:4); and in all the scriptures throughout the Old and New Testaments, that message has never changed. For the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).
You must receive a real born-again experience and be true to it. You have to quit all of your sinning and become as pure as the angels in Heaven and Jesus Himself. The Word of God tells you what is impure and what is right and wrong. If you are true to the truth, you will be all right; but if you are not true to it, you will be all wrong. Only the Word can set you free, and only the Word can keep you free.
Heaven Is Real
You must be true to Heaven; and you must decide that no matter what price you have to pay or how much you have to suffer for Christ’s name’s sake, Heaven will be worth it all.
In a great vision, John the Revelator was caught up and saw Heaven; and he described it to us in Revelation, chapters 21 and 22. I believe all that he wrote; and I believe there is no hunger, sadness or darkness there. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away (Revelation 21:4). I believe Heaven is full of love, peace and joy and that it is a beautiful city whose builder and maker is God.
No human hands touched any of that city when it was built; it is the Bride’s great gift that she is going to enjoy for all eternity, and the New Jerusalem is going to rest upon a new Earth. John saw it coming down from Heaven; and that will happen after the Tribulation Period and after the Earth is melted with fervent heat, purified and made holy. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God (Revelation 21:2,3).
We need to let Heaven become a real place; but it is not real to even many born-again people because God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are not living reality to them. All of the Godhead must become living reality to us if we are going to have the true reality of Heaven. The Bible says very little about Heaven, but everything it does say is wonderful. Every word about it is so great and so far beyond man’s thinking that we cannot take in even a small amount of what God has told us unless we use the spiritual senses.
Jesus tried to make Heaven real to the disciples when He was here; and He told them, In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also (John 14:2,3).
The Lord is building you a mansion today, too; and you should be excited about it. But instead, many are too involved in the material things of this life—where they live and what they want—and it may all be gone tomorrow. Eternity is what we need to be concerned about.
Jesus Is the Son of God
Are you true to the fact that Jesus is the Son of God? He told the disciples that He was the very Son of God who had come down from Heaven, the Messiah they had been looking for. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live forever (John 6:51,58).
Eternity and Heaven became real to the Early Church because Jesus finally became real to them. At first, it was hard for people, and even for most of Christ’s devout followers, to accept Him to be all that He claimed to be even though Jesus proved His claims again and again. Finally, after Christ’s crucifixion, resurrection and ascension to Heaven, and after He had come back to Earth to teach the disciples for another 40 days, He became living reality to about 120 of them. Then Heaven became real to them, too.
Before Jesus ascended back to Heaven, He told Mary Magdalene, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God (John 20:17).
Once He had ascended to Heaven and returned to Earth, He told Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing (John 20:27). Jesus wanted Thomas to know He was real.
Get Rid of Discouragement
We must be true to the blessings of God, but many people allow themselves to get discouraged. When you feel the devil’s discouragement moving in, turn and look at your mountains of blessings. Look at all the Lord has done for you, the many prayers He has answered for you and how He has kept you and given you His light, love, peace, greatness, goodness and mercy. If you yield to the spirit of discouragement, it will subtract so much from you; but if you back away from it and count your blessings, the spirit of encouragement will multiply within you, and soon you will be shouting and rejoicing.
The Psalmist knew how to get rid of discouragement; and he said, Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases (Psalm 103:2,3). You should not think about sicknesses and diseases, yet it is hard for many people to accept the fact that God wants to heal them. Instead, they become discouraged and think that God loves others better than He loves them. People are like that, but God is not.
God loves all of us; and He gave every one of us the salvation, healing, miracle Christ. When God gave Jesus, He gave us His miracle hands of healing to work for us. He gave us His miracle eyes so that, through the Son of God, we can see as He sees. He gave us Heaven when He gave us Jesus.
Don’t worry if friends, family or loved ones turn against you; but some of you carry your enemies around, so it is no wonder you’re unhappy. I put my enemies under the blood, and I can honestly tell them that I talk about them when I am on my knees—that is how you put them under the blood. Then you have to leave them there and rise up to be happy in the Lord. He said, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord (Romans 12:19).
You must stay true no matter how much you are criticized. People may ridicule or talk down on you, but they don’t realize that God has lifted you so far above them. Jesus said, And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me (John 12:32). If you are born new, Jesus has lifted you out of sin and into righteousness and holiness, into the arms of Heaven.
Salvation Brings Great Benefits
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels (Revelation 3:5). If your name is written in God’s book of life today, it doesn’t matter how much trouble and sorrow you might be having; you are just one step from that wonderful place called Heaven—only one little thread of life keeps you here. It is wonderful to know that with each step you take, the next one might put you on Glory’s shore. The blood has made Heaven just that close to all of us, and anything that close to you should be reality to you.
When you have old-time salvation and are true to it, then you have Heaven on your side; and when you put your trust in the Lord, He will send a trillion angels to help you before He will let you be defeated. For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee (Hebrews 13:5). He moves in so close to you, and an angel is there to help you. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them (Psalm 34:7). When God is that close, His ears are always open to you. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry (Psalm 34:15).
When you are true to the divine blood in your heart and soul, you are a member of the family of God—not only after you get to Heaven but right now—and that brings you so many benefits. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:16,17). That does not mean you will only be an heir when you die or when you get to Heaven; it means you are an heir right now—an heir to the grace, power, goodness, peace, hope, faith, love, longsuffering and the great thoughts and visions of God.
Will You Be True?
Have you decided yet that you will be true to the Lord? You cannot answer for anybody but yourself; but you must be able to say to the Lord, “I will be true to the whole Bible and to all that you taught and brought when you were here. I will be true to what you want me to do in this final hour and to all your visions and revelations. Lord, I will be true to everything that comes from you. You can call on me any time; and I will do what you want me to do, go where you want me to go and say what you want me to say. I am all yours. I will walk in and live in divinity, and I will follow your blood steps of faith and divine love.
“I will be true to work for God without grumbling and complaining. I will be true not to count my own life dear, only for what it can do for you, precious One. I will be true to all that I have promised you and more, Lord; you can depend on me. Jesus, use me; and please don’t refuse me because I know there is work for me to do. Even though it may be humble, I will do it, Lord.”
Receive True Salvation
Today, God is with us, and His loving hands are ready to perform miracles. I have witnessed thousands of them, and I am a witness without one doubt. I am a witness with divine faith and love; and I live for people to be saved, healed and delivered. I want them to see the marks of Jesus on me and on every message I preach.
If you are not true today, you must become true; it is the only way to reach Heaven. Say this prayer and mean it: Oh, God, I am lost! I know that without your shed blood I will die in my sins, and there will be no light for me at the end of my life. But, Lord, I believe you went to Calvary for me, and I believe you won Heaven’s salvation for me. You gave your life’s blood, and I recognize it and believe in it. I confess my sins, and I believe the blood of Jesus washes them all away. Come into my heart, Jesus. Come on in! If you meant that prayer and believe it, you can say, Hallelujah, Jesus is mine!
A Miracle Can Be Yours
Now, you can be healed. Jesus became our sickness-bearer as well as our sin-bearer; and with His blood stripes, we have healing. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). I now put your sicknesses under the blood just as you had to put your sins under the blood to be saved, and the blood will destroy every sickness and disease. If you have a little one who needs help, we will believe God to give your child a miracle. Mother or Daddy, you may have cancer or some other deadly disease, and your family needs you; but the Lord is the life-giver. He can heal you now, and He can re-create any part of your body. You who are paralyzed or in a wheelchair must know that people come out of their wheelchairs through these prayers, so get ready for your deliverance.
Lord, I bring the sick and afflicted to you. You have ordained me to pray for the sick as well as the unsaved, and you have given me your wonderful gifts to bring deliverance to the people. In the name of Jesus, heal! Heal the people today in the all-powerful, blood name of Jesus. Heal!
That power is now going into your body. Jesus said, Be not afraid, only believe (Mark 5:36). Reach over and touch your little afflicted one and expect your child to get well, and expect yourself to get well. We have received testimonies of entire families being healed of AIDS, so close your case and be true to the promises of God. Be true to the Gospel and live it. It will feed your life and your family, and it will give you good health.
Jesus brought the Gospel with all power; and He said, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth (Matthew 28:18). He brought all the power we will ever need. The name is Jesus; and when I use that name, the blind cry, “I can see!” At that name, the deaf hear, the mute speak and people are healed of all manner of sicknesses and diseases. Mass miracles take place in our overseas crusades and thousands are healed in moments of time. God is pouring out the latter rain, and Jesus will soon come; but there is only one flight out, so you must be on it.
God will help you to decide right now, “I will live and be true to you, Lord, in everything.” If you will be 100% true, I will see you in the one flight out. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus.
