Divine blood was given by God to set people free and to make them new on the inside so they can have eternal life. Jesus said, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3). To be born again is to have a spiritual rebirth. A person is made pure, clean and holy like God Himself; and that can only take place through the power in the divine blood of Jesus.

There is no greater power in all of Heaven, on Earth or under the Earth than the divine blood of Jesus. Just one drop of that divine blood has the power to deliver the human race from all sin and unrighteousness. One drop of blood has the cure for every sickness, disease and affliction that trouble this society. One drop of blood can destroy every demon and devil in Satan’s kingdom. One drop of blood can supply every need—spiritual, physical and financial.

You might be thinking, “If there is so much power in the divine blood, why is this world so sinful and wicked? Why are so many people in desperate need, and why are hospitals filled with patients?” The answer is simple: Society as a whole has not embraced the reality of or the power of the divine blood of Jesus. Some are ignorant to the powers in the divine blood of Jesus, and others reject it altogether. They refuse to meet the qualifications to receive the mighty benefits in the divine blood of Jesus. As a result, the awesome power of the divine blood lies dormant or is nonexistent to so many people on the Earth today.

Divine Blood Came to Earth

Heaven paid a great price to make the powers of divine blood available to the human race. Divine blood came to Earth in a tiny body of flesh that was wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger. His name is Jesus.

God the Father supplied the blood that flowed in Jesus when He was formed in the Virgin Mary’s womb. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God (Luke 1:30,31,34,35).

The Holy Ghost overshadowed Mary, a virgin; and she conceived a child. The blood that flowed in Jesus’ veins was divine; so it was holy, pure, uncontaminated with sin and all-powerful. Jesus was very human as well as very God. He was a man living in a body of flesh with all of its limitations and weaknesses; yet He was very God, and divine blood flowed within Him.

A Divine Mission

God sent Jesus to Earth on a divine mission; and through the powers of divine blood, He was going to bridge the gulf between God and the human race that was created by sin and iniquity. But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear (Isaiah 59:2).

Jesus would become God’s sacrificial Lamb, and He would provide atonement for all the sins of the human race. The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world (John 1:29).

Isaiah prophesied of this great sacrifice for the human race hundreds of years before it actually happened. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth (Isaiah 53:5-7).

Joint-Heirs with Christ

Jesus sacrificed His divine blood on the Cross of Calvary; and because of that sacrifice, the human race would have the opportunity to receive eternal life and be adopted into the family of God. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:16,17).

Being an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ means we are given the same opportunities and privileges of using the powers of divine blood that Jesus had when He was on Earth. Therefore, as children of God, it is our right, our divine heritage and our responsibility before God to use the powers of the divine blood to please the heavenly Father and to help and bless others in need.

Jesus Used the Blood

Jesus brought divine blood to set us free, and He showed us the benefits of it and how to use it. For example, before Jesus started His ministry, He was filled with the Holy Ghost; and the heavenly Father made known how pleased He was with that. And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased (Luke 3:22).

Then Jesus went into the wilderness and fasted for 40 days. And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered (Luke 4:1,2). Jesus was tempted of Satan, but He was victorious through the powers of the divine blood in Him. His flesh was under submission to divinity, so Satan had nothing to work with.

Then in the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus came out of the wilderness an anointed, yielded vessel; and He cried with a loud voice, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord (Luke 4:18,19). Jesus was ready for the Holy Spirit in Him to operate the powers of the divine blood through Him to help and bless people in need.

The power of the divine blood was put on display again and again in the ministry of Jesus. He cast out devils, opened blinded eyes and made the deaf and the mute to hear and speak. People were healed of all manner of sicknesses and diseases; and by the power of divine blood, Jesus walked the waters, calmed the angry seas and raised the dead.

Jesus Brought Power

During Jesus’ ministry, He helped many people; and He also trained His followers to take His place. They had to know how to use the powers of the divine blood to continue His work after He would return to Heaven. At one point, Jesus told His followers, Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). He was speaking of divine blood power.

Later, just before Jesus ascended back to Heaven, He once again instructed His followers, And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18). Those were divine blood signs, and they cannot take place without the divine blood being in operation.

The Holy Ghost Is Essential

Like Jesus, the disciples needed the Holy Ghost working within; so Jesus commanded them not to start His Church or do any work on His behalf until they had first received the Holy Ghost baptism. Only then would they have blood power. And, being assembled together with them, [Jesus] commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:4,5,8).

Once Christ’s followers were baptized in the Holy Ghost, the person of the Holy Ghost started using the powers of the divine blood through those yielded vessels. Then the Church of Jesus Christ was set in motion; and signs, wonders, miracles and healings started to manifest. Those yielded vessels tore down Satan’s strongholds and added many souls to the Church. It all happened because divine blood miracles bring people to God.

The Early Church Used the Blood

In Acts 3, the divine blood went into operation through Peter and John for a crippled man who had been lame from his mother’s womb and lay at the gate Beautiful. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk (Acts 3:6). What Peter had to offer was more than just a name, and it was more precious and valuable than all the silver and gold in the world. He had divine blood in operation through the person of the Holy Ghost.

The Early Church grew rapidly through divine blood power. The blood Gospel thrived as it covered the known world of that day in about 33 years. Early Church members were earthen vessels that carried within them the treasure of the divine blood and the Holy Ghost. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us (II Corinthians 4:7). They were men, women, boys and girls who talked like Jesus, loved like Jesus, forgave like Jesus and lived like Jesus; and many of them even died like Jesus. And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep (Acts 7:59,60).

As God was moving through yielded vessels, Satan was working through religious hypocrites who persecuted the Church. Nevertheless, many of those hypocrites could not deny the fact that those Early Church members, those earthen vessels, were filled with divine power and living just like Jesus did. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it (Acts 4:13,14).

The Gospel Must Go Forth

Jesus declared that this Gospel would go to the ends of the Earth before He would return. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come (Matthew 24:14).

Jesus also ordained this Gospel to go forth with all power—divine blood power and Holy Ghost power. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world (Matthew 28:18-20).

Bible truth is to be preached and taught with signs, wonders, miracles and healings because it is the power in the divine blood that separates the Gospel truth from every other doctrine, religion and philosophy. It is the power in the blood of Jesus and the miracles and healings it brings about that put God’s stamp of approval on the Gospel truth. The heathen, the unlearned and the ignorant all over the world must be given an opportunity not only to hear the truth but to see it in operation with signs, wonders, miracles and healings.

Help Finish Christ’s Work

Jesus said, I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work (John 9:4). As it was in Jesus’ day, so it is in this final hour. The sun is setting on this civilization, yet there is much work to be accomplished. There are many souls to be won, and the Gospel must be preached. Satan’s captives need to be set free; broken hearts need to be mended, and the sick and diseased need to be healed.

The work Jesus left unfinished must be completed just as it was started with signs, wonders, miracles and healings through the power of divine blood. This is why Jesus said, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (John 14:12).

Those works Jesus referred to are divine blood works that will be done on a greater scale. They are the same works Jesus did, but they will reach more people. Through the technology God has provided to us today, we can reach more people in one day than Jesus was able to reach during His entire time on Earth.

Never Deny the Blood

We must use the blood because most churches do not use the blood, preach the blood or teach the blood. Many of them even fail to believe in the blood of Jesus, so they preach a bloodless gospel. Many deny the power of the divine blood because they deny the Virgin Birth and the reality of miracles and healings for our day. The Word of God instructs us to turn away from such people. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away (II Timothy 3:5).

When a person or a church denies the power of divine blood, they are denying the divinity of Jesus. They are denying God of souls that could be delivered and saved if they had believed on the blood and used the blood. When a person denies the divine blood and its power, they are denying themselves of eternal life in Heaven.

Accept the Divine Blood

Friend, the divine blood of Jesus has all power to save, heal, break every bondage and supply every need; however, the power and benefits of the divine blood of Jesus cannot be yours until you are set free from all sin and unrighteousness. You must receive a born-again experience, and that can only take place in your life through the power in the blood of Jesus.

The Bible tells us, But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:7,9).

Friend, if there is any sin and unright-eousness in your life today, it is time to make your confession before God right now. Through faith, yield to the power in the divine blood of Jesus that was spilled at Calvary just for you and let its power wash you clean, make you new and give you eternal life. Say the sinner’s prayer right now which is located on page 5 of this magazine and let the power of the divine blood work for you.
