Trading Post

Trading posts were a big part of the early American Frontier, and people went there to trade things they had for things they needed. The Lord let me know that He has a trading post in His Kingdom, too. Jesus came to earth to establish it for you and me, and it’s the place where we can trade ashes for beauty. To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified (Isaiah 61:3). Man’s old self is ugly, worthless and degraded in sin; and sin makes lives wretched and ruined. But anyone can bring their old self to the trading post called Calvary and trade it for a brand-new life of peace and love.
Each time we go to the Lord’s trading post, we can take those things that are worthless and trade them for things that are valuable. No one can make that kind of trade at any other trading post because Jesus paid for everything that you could ever want to trade for. The Jesus trading post is so generous, and that’s why there is no other place like it.
Many of the early American trading posts were known for cheating people—taking what people had and giving them very little in return. But the Lord wants you to know that everyone will always receive an honest deal at His trading post, and it’s confirmed in the Holy Scriptures. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him (Matthew 7:8-11)?
Trade Your Sin Burden
Bring your burdens to the Lord’s trading post. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30). That’s a powerful scripture! Notice that Jesus says learn of me, and He’s supposed to be your example. Learn how to live holy and please the heavenly Father, and you’ll receive all you need. Learn how to climb to the mount of His glory which the Father has made available to every son or daughter of God; and there you’ll find rest for your soul, mind and body.
Sin is the heaviest burden in the world, and Jesus came to take that burden. It grieved the Father, Son and Holy Ghost to see people struggling to carry such heavy loads. They didn’t have God, divine hope or divine light to bring them out of darkness.
People are so loaded down with sins today that many are losing their minds. They’re out in the cold and dark and dying without God; then they’ll never have any light. But Jesus brought the light of salvation. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us…being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him (Romans 5:8,9). Church membership and water baptism won’t do the job because without the blood of Jesus, there is no salvation. But those who believe in Him will never die. I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die (John 11:25,26). Always hear the voice from the trading post crying, “You will never die!”
What a price Heaven paid for this trading post! The Lord told me that the only time He ever used all of His love was when He made Calvary. If people won’t accept that sacrifice, they’re doomed; and there’s no need to hold out any more hope for them. They will die in the ugly, slimy pits of sin; how dreadful!
Drawn by the Spirit
Jesus brought healing for soul, mind and body so people can trade in their oppression and depression; but many people today think about committing suicide instead. In my crusade services, the Lord gives me revelations of individual people’s intentions. He’ll point them out of thousands of others and tell me the different methods they were going to use to kill themselves.
In one service, the Lord told me about a man who earlier in the day had put a rope around his neck and was going to hang himself. But just before he jumped, the Lord let a flock of birds land close by; and it distracted him. He didn’t know what was really happening; but while the Lord had his attention, the Holy Spirit told him to come to my service that night. He did come, and he was delivered. Think what it must have meant to him when he heard that a flock of God’s birds had saved him. That man was drawn by the Spirit, and the Bible says it must be that way. No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him (John 6:44). People can’t just decide within themselves to go to the trading post; they have to be drawn there.
Nicodemus went to Jesus at night because he probably feared what the Jews might do to him if they saw him go during the day. He was one of their great teachers; but he went to the trading post, and Jesus explained it to him. There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again (John 3:1-7).
Nicodemus accepted all that Jesus told him, and he traded in his sins for righteousness; he traded his ugliness, doubts and unbelief for the knowledge of the born-new experience. He was made a new creature just like the Bible says. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (II Corinthians 5:17).
I Found New Life
All those who come to the trading post will leave as new creatures. The night I got saved, I went to the church full of sin; but I left it as a new creature. I left my old self behind and traded him in for a brand-new me; and that’s exactly what I needed!
The devil really fought me. He told me that I was too young and that I was foolish to give up the world. He told me that I didn’t need salvation and warned me not to burn any bridges because I’d want to return someday—but I burned every bridge.
I will confess that I dreaded to find the Lord that night; but I was at God’s trading post, and I knew it. I had been taught about Calvary and the light of the Lord. I knew that I had to trade in my darkness for light, and that’s exactly what I did. I left all the darkness of the world, every sin and everything that was ugly in the sight of God. I traded my corrupt blood for divine blood, and that blood cleansed me all over. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin (I John 1:7).
I traded in condemnation for liberty. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit (Romans 8:1). I traded sin and unrighteousness for righteousness. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God (Romans 6:13). That trade brought health to my soul and made it brand new. Then I was filled with peace like I’d never had before. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If you don’t have this peace, you’re living beneath your privilege; and most Christians do.
You’ll Find Joy in the Lord
The devil had told me that I would never have any joy in salvation. I had loved to dance, and I thought the swing bands were great. Their music seemed to make every bone in my body come to life; but after my bones were cleansed, I didn’t crave the world’s music anymore. I thought it would be hard to give it up and that I’d be miserable without it; but one night I went to a Holy Ghost-filled church with wild oats to sow, and I left it with God’s righteous seed. I left with the glory of God because I had found His way. Jesus said, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life (John 8:12).
Then God gave me His great “go ye.” And he [Jesus] said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15). Remember the woman at the well. She was a woman of the streets, but she traded in her degraded life for a brand-new one. Then she became a great soul winner that very day, preaching to all who would listen. The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did (John 4:28,29,39).
I was raised in a godly home with Holy Ghost-filled parents who taught me the whole Word of God. We had a family altar in our home where we were taught to pray, and we blessed God for all of our food. We knew that no one dared to eat anything until God had been honored. I’m glad I was taught right, but I still had to decide for myself to take Jesus into my heart and be born new.
The New and Living Way
Some people wish they could live their lives over; but if they did, and they still never chose the new and living way, they would probably do worse the second time. The Bible says we have to live by a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh (Hebrews 10:20).
Jesus came saying, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). He brought a resurrection that can transform every person into newness of life through grace. After you go to Calvary, that grace becomes yours; and you can go before God’s throne at any time. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Although we’re here on earth, we can appear before the throne of God whenever we need to. When Jesus came and died, He made a blood-line straight to Heaven just for us; and we can use it any time.
I never get over the awesome fact that the Lord hears everything I say. When I was a sinner, I didn’t want Him to hear anything I had to say. But after I was born new, I had a holy tongue that matched my holy heart; and I was delighted for the Lord to hear every word I said. Jesus told us that the Father would always hear. Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always (John 11:41,42). I know that someone is listening when I pray, and that someone is Jesus.
You Must Have Divine Love
You have to trade hate for love. Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee (Jeremiah 31:3). God’s love is eternal, but you must love Him in return. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment (Mark 12:30).
God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). People will try to measure God’s love for them, but there’s no way to measure it in human terms. I measure God’s love with truth—the Word. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). If you don’t use Jesus for the measuring rod, you’re going to come up very short. You must know and have the same love and compassion that took Jesus to Golgotha. Paul said, That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death (Philippians 3:10).
Some of you are strangers to love, and that’s why you always have so much trouble. You’re supposed to know God’s love. That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height (Ephesians 3:17,18). Oh, the depth of His love! It’s so deep that you can’t measure it, and it’s so high that it reaches all the way to the throne of God.
The Lord said in the thirteenth chapter of I Corinthians that without this love we’re nothing. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity [love], I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity [love], I am nothing (I Corinthians 13:1,2). Without love, we’re just empty shells, walking corpses eating from the tree of death instead of the tree of life.
A Happy Life
Jesus is our great Tree of Life, and all Heaven flows to us through Him. That life will give you contentment just as it did Paul. I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content (Philippians 4:11). I decided that if Paul could be content, then Ernest Angley could be content, too. I take any oppression and depression to the trading post and leave it there; that’s why I’m so happy. Happy is that people, whose God is the LORD (Psalm 144:15). Divine happiness brings Heaven’s strength, so always rejoice in the Lord. There’s no one at God’s trading post to trade with murmurers, grumblers, complainers and blasphemers.
Paul found happiness in the Lord. He had once been a Pharisee who held the highest seat in the court of his people, and he had been educated in the best schools of his day. But after he met Jesus, Paul left all that behind and went into the desert for nearly three-and-a-half years where he was taught the ways of the Lord by the Holy Ghost. When he finally left the desert, he was ready to be used by God in any way. He had found joy unspeakable and full of glory (I Peter 1:8). And that gave him strength for the journey. For the joy of the LORD is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
Claim Your Promise
Paul wrote to the Colossians on more than one occasion and let them know that they could be complete in Jesus. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power (Colossians 2:10). When you trade in your empty life, Christ Jesus makes you complete; and when you’re complete, there’s nothing lacking. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Are you letting the Lord supply your needs spiritually first of all? If you won’t let Him supply your spiritual needs, He won’t be able to supply your physical or financial ones either.
God promised to supply our needs, but do you claim that promise? The Lord told me that His promises are just print on paper if you don’t claim them. Then you have to meet the condition of each promise. God told the Israelites that all the land of Palestine could be theirs if they would put their feet on it and claim it. Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses (Joshua 1:3). But the Israelites failed to claim it, and they lost the promise.
Leave Sin Behind
Many people claim they have been to God’s trading post, but they have never really left their sins behind. Some of them, even preachers, don’t believe in the virgin birth; but they still think they’re going to Heaven. Such preachers aren’t fit to be in the pulpit; they’re not holy, and they’re on their way to hell. The Bible says, He that committeth sin is of the devil (I John 3:8). They’re full of deceit, and they deceive others as they declare that you can’t live free from sin. That teaching is so destructive and damnable! The Bible teaches, The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:20); and, If the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch (Matthew 15:14).
Sin is to blame for all sorrows, heartaches, tears and despair. All the hurt in the world today is caused by sin, but you can trade in that sin for the holiness of God and the mind of Jesus. His mind isn’t one of fear; it’s a sound mind. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (II Timothy 1:7).
Go to the trading post and trade condemnation for sanctification. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (I Thessalonians 5:23). Sinner, you’re foolish not to trade the ugly for the beautiful, your wretched and degraded life for one that’s eternal. If you make that trade, you’ll live forever in Heaven; but you must never sin or backslide again.
Don’t ever think that people can’t backslide. Judas met Jesus at the trading post and was forgiven and made brand new; but the Bible says in Acts, Judas by transgression fell (Acts 1:25). Judas actually had power to cast out devils before he backslid; so he must have been righteous at one time because the Lord declared that one devil can’t cast out another devil. And Jesus…said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand (Matthew 12:25,26)?
Don’t Deny the Truth
The devil makes people think and act so foolishly, just like the rich man Jesus told about. That man never dreamed he’d die and go to hell; but the Bible says, And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame (Luke 16:23,24). Despite this account, many people still say there is no flame in hell. If that’s true, then Jesus was false through and through. But there is a flame in hell, and it would be awful to have to go there to find out.
No one in hell will deny that there is a flame. The rich man didn’t deny it, and he even appeared to take on a missionary spirit; but he was just self-centered. He was only concerned that his five brothers hear the truth, but he never mentioned anyone else. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead (Luke 16:27-31).
Even in hell, this man remained full of selfishness; but he could no longer get to the trading post to get rid of it. Just think, he’s been in hell for at least 2000 years with no way out when he could have served the Lord for such a short period of time while he was here on earth and made it to Heaven. You must trade away all your selfishness and then yield to the Holy Spirit so God can direct your paths. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:6).
Accept Divine Blood
Don’t sell your soul. Adam and Eve sold their souls to the devil as well as those of all mankind, but Jesus came to buy them back. At the trading post, you’ll find it says whosoever will; and the price has already been paid. You can freely trade for that which is wonderful and full of life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life (John 5:24).
The Tree of Life and the River of Life are at the trading post for you! Claim them and present yourself to God as a living sacrifice. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service (Romans 12:1).
The devil tried everything he could to destroy this trading post, the second Adam, Jesus. Man was shut outside of Eden, and the only way that this world could be offered deliverance was for Jesus to come and set up His trading post. When He did, He brought everything wonderful and beautiful; and then He shed His divine blood so we could have them. The Bible says that without the shedding of divine blood there is no forgiveness for sins. And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission (Hebrews 9:22). Through the Holy Spirit, you have to find that divine blood; and you’ll only find it at the Jesus trading post.
Healing Is Yours
Jesus also went to the whipping post so we could have physical healing. The Bible tells us that it is the Lord’s will for us to be in good health. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth (III John 1:2). Jesus shed His blood at the Cross for our salvation, and He shed it at the whipping post for our physical healing. The Bible declares, But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
In the New Testament, Peter uses the words, ye were healed. Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed (I Peter 2:24). This means that healing is already ours. Go to the trading post and trade for that promise: Be thou made whole; be thou made well!
Jesus proved that we don’t have to be afflicted when He took on humble flesh like ours and was never sick. He would give the people His touch of love and heal them; but then He would say, Sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee (John 5:14).
Fight for Your Miracle
The Bible says, For I am the LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26); and God’s healing grace was there to meet me when I was near death at twenty-three. I watched my body go down to almost a skeleton, and I couldn’t even keep my trousers up without suspenders. I knew that I had lived free from sin and claimed God’s promises ever since I was saved, so I didn’t understand why I was suffering in the night. It was like I was in a dark room with no light or windows, and I was seeking for an opening that couldn’t be found.
God had been so close to me and had always answered all my prayers, but now the heavens were like brass. I asked, “Why will you let me die?” I never questioned God so much in my life. But if I was going to die, I was determined that I would die in the pulpit preaching the Gospel. I knew without a doubt that I’d go to Heaven, but I didn’t want to leave this old world without winning multitudes of souls for the Lord. I knew that He had definitely called me; it was a holy calling that all the devils coming at me at once could never have made me doubt.
One day, I was conducting a crusade service; and I was suffering death. I was so weak and tormented, and it seemed I was fighting for my life. I gripped each side of the Bible stand, and I was determined to preach no matter what. Then the Holy Ghost began to speak through a devout child of God and prophesy that the Lord would heal me. Instantly, the pain left, and I thought I had my miracle; but it wasn’t God’s time yet. The Lord wanted to show me that faith brings the blessings of the trading post and that doubt robs people of His promises.
Always remember that the devil is a robber, a liar and a thief; and he wants to steal everything you get at the trading post. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy (John 10:10). But the Bible tells us, Prove all things; hold fast that which is good (I Thessalonians 5:21).
I still continued to suffer; and even though the Lord had given me a prophecy, I lost sight of it. The Lord was teaching me so that I would be able to help others, but it was a terrible time. I hate darkness, the devil and everything about him for what he did to me and for what he’s still doing to others. But God taught me so much, and that’s why He uses me to cast devils out of people; and when I speak the Word through God’s divine power, they have to come out. I received this miracle power at the trading post through prayer and fasting. Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21).
Finally, it was the Lord’s time for me. One night, just a few short days before I knew that my time here on earth would be up, Jesus came. It was so wonderful that every time I tell it, I can feel Him coming to me all over again…and He made me whole all over. I appreciated all the medical help I had received, but the doctors couldn’t cure me; only God’s masterful surgery could do that. Through it all, the Lord taught me that I would carry His power and lead people to the healing post, Jesus, where they could trade pain and sickness for healing. For I am the LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26). People can receive miracles and be made whole all over.
All You Need Is Available
There is so much available at God’s trading post, and you don’t have to beg God for one thing. Jesus said, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you (Matthew 7:7). You can trade your own understanding for Heaven’s wisdom. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Then receive His knowledge. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). Trade your will for the divine will of God. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is (Ephesians 5:17). Then stand in that will. Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage (Galatians 5:1).
I trade everything to help other people. I gladly trade long fasts for more of God’s power. I just go to the trading post, Jesus, and He gives me the strength I need. I don’t stop my work for God even during a forty-day fast because I hear the message at the trading post saying, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness (II Corinthians 12:9).
The Bible says we can trade weakness for Heaven’s strength. Let the weak say, I am strong (Joel 3:10). When you cash in your weakness, the love and grace of God will be there to meet you. At times, I can be so weary; but I trade that feeling for strength from Heaven that man can’t give me. I claim the promises of God!
Receive the Holy Ghost
When I was eighteen, I traded the darkness of sin for the glory of salvation; and then I went on to claim the glory of the infilling of the Holy Ghost like they received on the Day of Pentecost. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:1-4).
Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to be our comforter, and He will live on the inside of all those who receive Him. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you (John 14:16,17). When we yield to the Holy Ghost, the third person in the Trinity of the Godhead, our bodies become His temple. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own (I Corinthians 6:19)?
As a man, Jesus needed the Holy Ghost; and John the Baptist saw Him come down upon Jesus when He was baptized in the Spirit. Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased (Mark 1:9-11). The Bible says that when we receive the Holy Ghost, rivers of living water will flow from our innermost beings. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38).
The Gospel Must Go Forth
The Lord gives me all of this in such great simplicity that even children can understand what I’m talking about. Little ones will sit in my services and listen to every word, learning and coming into the knowledge of the truth.
After Adam and Eve failed, we were all born outside of the truth, covered with sin and iniquities and without the image of God. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). But the Psalmist declared, I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14); and through the divine blood, we can all say that today.
The Holy Spirit is crying to the lost today with a voice that goes forth all over the world. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely (Revelation 22:17). I’m crying to the world today, “Whosoever will, let him come.” To the backslider I say, “Come to Jesus before it’s too late.” To the devil possessed and those bound with alcohol and drugs I cry, “Jesus will deliver you from those devils!”
Devils Flee from the Blood
Jesus said, And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils (Mark 16:17). If I can get alcoholics and drug addicts to come to the trading post and give their souls to Jesus, all the devils will go. The Lord will number how many devils are in a person, and they leave all at once in a wad. You can’t find this kind of trading opportunity anywhere but at the Jesus trading post. Only there can you trade death for life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).
Again and again the Lord moves on me to cry to thousands of people on foreign soil, Wilt thou be made whole (John 5:6)? I take people to the trading post so they can trade the ugliness of sin for the righteousness of God. They can trade witchcraft for the Spirit of Calvary, and they can trade voodoo for deliverance from the powers of the devil. The devil can’t touch a person after they become a child of God because they’re covered with divine blood, and then they can get rid of all fear.
Witch doctors rule by fear, but those who trade in that fear don’t ever have to let it possess them again. It has to go through God’s faith, the kind of faith that moves mountains and brings great deliverances. For verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you (Matthew 17:20).
You Must Believe
Once people trade their contaminated, sinful blood for the cleansing, divine blood, they become pure and holy. Then they can be healed of any disease or affliction. Thousands have been healed of AIDS, and we’re documenting the cases through medical science because some people won’t believe the Bible. However, if people won’t believe this medical confirmation, then I leave them alone. I let them believe their lie just as the Bible teaches. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness (II Thessalonians 2:11,12).
Many have never heard of the trading post that Jesus set up for all people, so we must take the message to those who want to hear it. John the Baptist said, I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire (Matthew 3:11). John said he wasn’t worthy to wear the Lord’s shoes; but God did count him worthy, and He counts us worthy, too. There’s a pair of Jesus-shoes to fit everybody who will shape up and act like Him.
John was the voice in the wilderness, and he told the people about the trading post. He let them know that Jesus would bring them life, but the Jewish leaders didn’t believe him. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance (Matthew 3:7,8). John was saying, “Prove to me by the Word of God that you’ve turned your back on all sin and that you’re really sorry; then I’ll baptize you. This River of Jordan can’t wash your sins away; it takes the blood, the love and the power of God. There’s one coming after me who’s greater than I, and He’ll be your Savior.” John knew that water wouldn’t wash away sins, and he wasn’t about to baptize sinners. We also must come to the trading post in all humility with fruits fit for repentance.
Jesus Is the Light
Jesus is our trading post, and the light that shines through Him is the only light that can penetrate the darkness of sin. That light came to the lowly shepherds one night, and they rushed to see the glory. They looked into the manger, and they saw love like they had never seen before. The shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger (Luke 2:15,16). The shepherds saw the face of God in the form of a little baby, and Jesus confirmed it when He said, He that hath seen me hath seen the Father (John 14:9). Take another look into the manger, and you too will see the face of God; but you first have to go to the trading post.
Jesus came and said, I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness (John 12:46). Jesus, the light, was sent down from Heaven with all the love, tender care, gentleness, goodness, peace, joy and love that we’ll ever need. The Bible also says, The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up (Matthew 4:16). The people were spiritually blind, but Jesus lit up the way; and He’s still lighting up the way today. We must get this Gospel to the whole world; that’s why we’re going forth with this wonderful light.
Jesus said we would be His epistles of light. Ye are the light of the world…Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven (Matthew 5:14,16). We can be just like Jesus if we will wear His shoes and do His works. We will be on the mount of His glory in this final hour with signs, wonders, miracles and healings. We’ll have His glory to light up the whole world; and we’ll preach about Jesus, the most wonderful trading post of all time.
Don’t Trade with the Devil
Come to the trading post, Children of God and Sinners alike, and bring your burdens to the Lord. Don’t ever finish trading there. Why will you carry sickness? The Bible teaches that it’s devil bondage. He said to the woman who was bent over for eighteen years and couldn’t raise herself up, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God (Luke 13:12,13).
When explaining this miracle to those trying to find fault with Him, Jesus said, Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day (Luke 13:16)? Jesus Himself said Satan had bound her, and yet many preachers teach that sickness comes from God—such teaching disputes the Word of God. The Lord said, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17). All the gifts that flow from Heaven are good, and all the bad things come from hell and the devil.
The devil has a trading post, too; but at his post, you trade life for death, righteousness for sin and beauty for ashes. These are horrible trades, but that’s what Adam and Eve did. They were told to stay away from the tree of death, but they went anyway and gave up everything.
We can’t allow ourselves to be defeated now because Jesus is soon coming. Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him (Matthew 25:6). We must trade all our doubts, fears, spots and wrinkles for God’s perfect love, grace and power. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:27). Then we can be changed when the Lord returns. But we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (I Corinthians 15:51,52).
Trade Darkness for Light
Sinner and Backslider, I bring you to the great trading post where I found life. Do you want that life? If you die in your sins, you’ll find yourself in eternal night; and you’ll never be able to reach the Lord. Lift up your hands and pray this prayer. Oh, God, I’m lost. I’ve heard your Spirit through the messenger of God asking me to come and bring my sins to you; and, Lord, I’m bringing them all to you. They’re ugly, and I’m ashamed of them; and I don’t want others to know about them. But you said that if I would come to the trading post, you would forgive me and wash away all of my sins; and now I believe and humbly ask for forgiveness. I have godly sorrow in my heart, and I believe that the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. I won’t sin the rest of my days, and I will serve you in the beauty of holiness. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come in!
If you meant that prayer, Jesus is all yours. You’ve traded the cross of sin, darkness and death for divine light. A crown of life is now waiting for you. Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him (James 1:12). But you must carry your cross. Jesus said, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me (Mark 8:34). If you’ll deny yourself, carry the cross of Jesus and follow Him, you’ll have eternal life. You’ll trade your old cross for eternal health, eternal joy and the happiness of Heaven forevermore; and you’ll live with the angels and your loved ones who have died in the Lord.
Trade Sickness for Life
It’s time now for your healing. At the trading post, I found that Jesus was there with healing in His wings for me. But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings (Malachi 4:2). He covered me with those healing wings, made me whole all over and gave me the same compassion that took Him to Calvary; and I use that compassion for the sick and afflicted because I know they can be healed. The Bible says, They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:18).
When I look into people’s tortured eyes, I remember my own eyes when they were sunken way back into my head; then I think, “Oh, God, you must show them your glory as you showed it to me. Lord, they have to have healing now because this may be their last chance to receive. Give them a miracle, Lord!” And again and again it happens. In my overseas crusades, God performs mighty mass miracles; and thousands are healed, saved and baptized in the Holy Ghost as I lead them to the trading post.
All the miracles are His works of glory. He gives life to people’s bodies and delivers them of all manner of sicknesses and diseases. He delivers them from all the powers of the devil in the name of Jesus.
Believe and Receive
Are you at the trading post for a miracle? Jesus said, Only believe. All things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23). Trade in that sickness, that bad nervous system, that cancer, diabetes, heart or lung trouble; and take on a new body. Trade in that old body that is giving you so much trouble; the Bible says God will renew your youth. But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
In the name of Jesus, I pray for every one of you who believes the Lord and will serve Him. In the name of Jesus, heal them of HIV/AIDS, diabetes, leprosy and strokes. Re-create hearts and lungs; you’re doing it, Lord, and you’re making them well. Lord, you know we believe in good doctors and hospitals; but when they’ve done all they can do, then there is your trading post. Here they are, Lord, and you’ll get all the honor and the glory for every miracle.
God bless you today. Let me know if you went to the trading post, Jesus, the Son of the Living God; and I will rejoice with you. I know that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory through Jesus Christ, His Son; and remember that the Lord of Hosts keeps all of His promises.
