The Yielded Bride
Volume 3 The Miracle of Supply
by Ernest Angley
February 1993
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). The Bride is giving and will continue to give the Lord all the honor, praise and glory in this final hour for her miracle of supply. Spiritually she was once in the land of Egypt, in the house of bondage, the prison house of Lucifer; but the Lord brought her out.
For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills (Deuteronomy 8:7). The Lord here is telling the Israelites about the material blessings ahead for them after they leave the wilderness where they had been wandering forty years. It is a land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey; A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it (verses 8,9). This also is the voice of the Lord speaking to the Bride today: Thou shalt not lack anything. I will give you all of this—and more. These are wonderful words of the Lord.
The Lord tells more about the Promised Land: A land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass. When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee. Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day: Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein; And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied; Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage (Deuteronomy 8:9-14). Always be grateful to the Lord for His deliverance and blessings.
The Lord reminds the Israelites that He was the one who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint; Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end (Deuteronomy 8:15,16). This is the supply of God. And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth. But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth (verses 17,18).
The Children of Israel in Egypt’s bondage were slaves living in misery. The historian Josephus wrote that the Israelites had worked their fingers down to stubs making bricks in the slime pits of Pharaoh. But the Lord supplied them with the miracle cure. When they left Egypt he brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes (Psalm 105:37). The Bible does not say so, but I am persuaded to believe that God re-created their fingers. They had a covenant of good health from God. He told them that He would take sickness away from the midst of thee (Exodus 23:25) if they would obey Him.
Apply this reading to our hour. The Lord is moving today with the same delivering power that once brought a whole nation out of the wilderness. The Bride is coming out of the wilderness on the arm of her Groom Jesus. She is being led by the Spirit, taught by the Spirit and fed by the Spirit.
The Bride Can Expect Miracles
Earlier in this series I brought to you, from the fourth chapter of II Kings, the story of a woman in great need. The man of God asked her what she had, and she replied that it was only a pot of oil. The oil, of course, represents the Holy Spirit. If you have the pot of oil—if you have the Holy Spirit in your life—the Lord’s miracle supply belongs to you. You can have the miracle supply. Hard times of the past don’t matter when it comes to God supplying your need now; don’t look back.
The obedient Bride can receive much from her Lord in this final hour; she can expect the Lord to perform great and mighty miracles for her. The supply houses of God will be open twenty-four hours around the clock for soul, mind and body, saith the Lord. With her obedient heart and spirit, the Bride will find that all things needed belong to her. Heaven will serve her. Let your faith soar high as you look to the promises of God. The yielded Bride has given up all to follow the Lord, surrendering everything to Him. She sings the song, “I Surrender All,” and that yielding is not just a song, it is the desire of her spirit from her innermost being. I surrender all to thee, precious Jesus.
Cooperate with God
To yield to the Word is to submit, to be obedient, to give place. Yielding to the Lord means you have given place to Him completely because you desired to. By yielding to Him, you cooperate with the Lord totally.
In Old Testament days when one person—or a multitude of people—cooperated completely with God, He served in a wonderful way, provided the miraculous supply. Although Israel was up and down in their obedience to God, Moses again and again interceded for them; and God in His great mercy honored Moses’ prayers on their behalf.
In the wilderness God supplied the needs of three or four million people. They had no lack. Even their shoes and clothes did not wear out for forty years. I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot (Deuteronomy 29:5).
Fed by Miraculous Supply
In the wilderness, God spread a table of food for those forty years, feeding the multitude of Israelites. He had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of heaven, And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven. Man did eat angels’ food: he sent them meat to the full. He rained flesh also upon them as dust, and feathered fowls like as the sand of the sea: And he let it fall in the midst of their camp, round about their habitations. So they did eat, and were well filled (Psalm 78:23-25,27-29).
The same power that fed the Israelites in the wilderness also fed thousands with a few loaves and fishes when Jesus was here. It’s the same serving, giving Spirit of the Lord. The Lord works with one’s, two’s, three’s or with vast multitudes.
Look again at the great supply on Noah’s ark. We don’t know how many miracle barrels were on the ark with the Noah family; we just know they had no lack. For over a year everything was supplied just as everything was supplied in the wilderness for Israel. What an abundance of supply! The Bride in the ark of the Lord today delights in her supply on board.
We read of God supplying a widow woman who had but a handful of meal and a few drops of oil standing between her and starvation. Then God gave a great increase to sustain her in time of famine. Birds fed just one person, Elijah, twice a day. We look at those miracles knowing we have the same fellowship with God.
Jesus Came to Save That Which Was Lost
Although many turned away from God in Old Testament days, a few held to Him, led by the prophets major and minor. Then Jesus came to bring back what the devil had robbed man of. The Bible tells us that the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost (Luke 19:10). What was lost? The whole supply God had provided for soul, mind and body in the Garden of Eden. No part of your life is omitted from the benefits of God’s miraculous supply. This is where many people have missed it, saith the Lord; they have left parts out. Leave out none of Jesus. He came to supply the whole person. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10).
Abundant life is more than salvation for your soul, more than the minimum requirement. Abundant life is joy and peace for the soul, body and mind. Some children of God have limited God in their minds because they won’t let the Holy Spirit serve from their souls what salvation has placed there. Great joy resides in all the salvation of the Lord. The Bible teaches joy, gladness and praise for God in His salvation.
All too many look on salvation as mental assent rather than true faith in their hearts. Real salvation brings God’s feelings into the body and mind—when you let the Holy Spirit serve it. It is essential to be yielded to the Holy Spirit one hundred percent in order to trust in this miracle supply. Many have failed God, not serving Him or following Him. But the Bride is running after Him. Draw me, we will run after thee, she entreats (Song of Solomon 1:4). All things will be supplied as she runs after Him. We will see the greatest miracles ever in this last hour of God supplying our needs, of God standing by and helping us take the Gospel to all people.
God will supply all our needs so our minds won’t be on a lack of supply, wondering how we will meet our bills. The Lord wants minds to be completely His for the harvest. He wants to use you, use what He is giving to you so He can give back, multiply what you give so you can give more and more.
God Limited Himself
Although the Lord can do all things, He has limited Himself in many ways. In the beginning He limited Himself with man and woman by giving them freedom of choice. That limitation has been on God for about six thousand years. Thank God, it will soon be lifted! When it is, control will go out of the hands of man and back into the hands of God. Then everything will be all right for the children of God.
In Heaven, there will be no more working with the sweat of the brow. The miraculous supply will be God’s gift to us in Heaven’s great Eden of God.
God planned for man’s needs to be supplied, but man drifted from God, living as strangers to Him for such a long time that man can’t imagine what God really wants for him. The devil has talked to man, convinced him that God will not supply. God works through faith, and when man fails to use faith, God is limited.
Many children of God cannot believe the Lord will supply a miracle for the whole body. They think God’s will is for them to be sick. If that were true, why did Jesus come and devote most of His Earth ministry to healing the sick? If being sick is God’s divine will, then Jesus certainly worked against the Father when He was here on Earth. But Jesus talked directly to the Father day and night, knowing the Father always heard Him. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God (Hebrews 10:7). In healing the sick, Jesus obeyed God’s will.
A Serving Bride
Now I see the Bride stepping forth out of the shadows of the past, claiming her proper place, getting ready to take her flight. As Ruth served in love and obedience, recorded in the book of Ruth, the Bride is now serving. She is a serving Bride. Not only is she helping bring in the main harvest, she will glean the fields to bring in every soul that she can.
In type and shadow we found the Bride in the Old Testament serving. Now we see her in living reality, no more in types and shadows. In living reality we look upon the Bride with her dedication, consecration. Her ears unstopped, she hears what her Master is saying. Obedient to Him, she is thinking on Him. Pleasing Him is her main desire in life. He is her life, her joy, strength and reason for living.
The Bride is willing to war with the enemy because the Lord is her armor. She knows that through Him she has power over devils, power to trample them underfoot, power to command devils to come out of those they possess.
This is the great hour that the Lord has planned, the last countdown moments to the end of the Church Age; and we are here to be the blessed will of God. It’s great to know that we have arrived, that God is moving and all needs will be supplied.
Commandments Written in the Heart
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8). God will make your way prosperous and you will have good success by not letting the book of the Law depart. The commandments in the Bible have been written in the hearts and spirits of the Bride. I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people (Hebrews 8:10). We are going forth with the Word hidden in our hearts. The Psalmist said, Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee (Psalm 119:11).
The Father’s words are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:22). They cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions (Psalm 107:19,20). The Bride will have great deliverance because the Word will be a part of her, abide in her body. The Word, the living Word, will work.
A testimony of the living Word, the Bride speaks the Word of truth that sets people free. Jesus said, And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). The lack of God’s truth has put this world in bondage. The Bride will give the truth, declaring that the Spirit of the Lord is doing it. Through the Spirit of God, the Bride will use the name of Jesus, the Word, the Holy Ghost with all the power she used in the Early Church. You will find in using the Word that it multiplies, increases, defeats the powers of the enemy and becomes our greatest weapon.
God’s Wisdom Rejects Speaking in Tongues at Will
For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy (Ecclesiastes 2:26). God promises wisdom, knowledge, joy to those who are good in His sight. No need to go lacking in the knowledge of what God wants, of how to carry out His plans. He provides wisdom to use what He gives us.
Many have talked when God gave them nothing to say. In the past they have run when God didn’t say run. I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied (Jeremiah 23:21). Men who have visions of their own hearts are not led by the Spirit of God. Baptizing themselves in a false Holy Ghost, they have failed to receive the real Bible Holy Ghost. The wisdom and knowledge of God is absent. They talk in tongues at will, pray in tongues when they want, rather than under the unction of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit does not speak through them because they are not yielding to His Spirit but to their own. The words coming from them are either of their own spirit or of the devil’s. Declaring they can talk in tongues anytime they want, they are not believers who speak in tongues only as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4). In the real Holy Ghost baptism, the born-again person furnishes the vocal organs, but the Holy Spirit is the one who does the speaking.
The true Church rejects fanaticism and embraces the true baptism in the Holy Ghost, the same baptism the Early Church received in the beginning. When the Holy Ghost fell on the day of Pentecost, no one taught those in the Upper Room to speak in tongues. However, people without the knowledge and wisdom of God run with the wisdom of man and the devil, teaching people to speak in tongues at will. This most disgraceful act strips the Holy Spirit of His greatness, of His power to work as the third person in the Trinity of the Godhead. By teaching people to talk in tongues rather than letting the Spirit talk, people are robbed. Listen to me; talk like I talk, they say. If you yield to that, you yield to the same ugly spirit they have.
There is no holiness in the spirit that speaks in tongues as the person wills; such a thing didn’t come from God. Wake up. If you can talk in tongues anytime you want, you do not have the true Holy Ghost, the wisdom or the knowledge of God. The Lord doesn’t want people in fanaticism; He wants them to search and yield completely to Him.
The Bride Is Not Part of the World
A great veil of love separates the Bride from the world. She is consecrated to the Master’s use, possessed by the Holy Spirit Himself. The Spirit cries through the Bride: God will supply! God will supply! These three words are her lifeline, her greatness. God will supply! Millions of times He will supply. As the redeemed cry, He will supply! it sounds like heavenly music. God will supply. The very breath of the Bride cries out, My Lord will supply! My Lord will supply! Such faith draws God and the Bride together as one.
Jesus prayed, Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me (John 17:20,21). I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world (verses 15,16). The Bride is going to be preserved. No power will be able to destroy her in this her last hour. She will rise up with holy boldness and bless the name of the Lord. As she rises up with the purity, greatness, love of God and the tears of Calvary, hearts of stone will be melted.
It’s time to praise the Lord, glorify God and know that Jesus Christ our Savior is the very Son of God, our Lord born of the Virgin Mary. There can be no doubt in this final hour who Jesus is, no doubt about His divinity. The only way God can work and live through you is by the Holy Spirit. Live in the Spirit, be taught by Him, drink of Him. If you really want to see Jesus daily do His work, only through the Holy Spirit will you be able to see it.
The Bride Puts God First
In your human vessel you are carrying the oil of the Holy Spirit when you are born again and baptized in Him. That oil multiplies, supplies all your needs. Why expect things to go badly when the Lord has promised abundance? Get ready for it—not with the selfish purposes that some have, not to live “high” in the world, but to live high in the love, joy, work and testimony of God.
God will supply the Bride’s needs because she will not be selfish and forget her Lord. She will put God first and use what He gives her to take the Gospel to the world. Not thinking about laying up riches on Earth, she won’t be stingy or seek to build her own kingdom as some Christians in the past have done. She knows her Lord is coming for her, and she will not be able to take anything with her but the souls she wins. Making sure she wins souls, souls, souls, she is bringing in more harvest each waking hour. By praying, fasting, believing, reaching out in every way and pulling down Heaven upon people, she is helping bring in the harvest, giving of herself.
An Angel of Deliverance
This same miraculous help from Heaven that we have flowed from the throne of God in the beginning of the Church Age. When the apostles were put in jail for the sake of Christ, God didn’t send a man in to get them but an angel. But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said, Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life. But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned, and told, Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within (Acts 5:19,20,22,23). Although guards had been in charge of the prisoners all the night through, the next morning they found them in the temple preaching about Jesus. A cold sweat must have broken out on the guards when they discovered their prisoners missing.
Adorned in the Promises of God
If people don’t accept the wisdom of God in this final hour, they will walk around in stupors. Confused minds result when people refuse to believe God as He makes Himself real through the nine gifts of the Spirit, the fruits of the Spirit and His promises.
The Bride has adorned herself with the promises of God, and now she steps forth to let them all become living reality to her. They are more than just treasured objects to look at and sing about; the Bride realizes the value of the promises of God, that they bring results. She is using those promises, claiming them. The promises of God claimed will put food in your stomach, clothes on your back, give you shelter. My God will supply all your needs; He just wants you to work for Him, to spend your time looking to Him and pulling down Heaven on the lost. God’s vision of this final hour, His thoughts, are what He wants you to have. Think as He thinks—the thoughts of God in His Word. Think on His promises; say the promises, claim them in faith believing, and the Lord will fulfill them.
Fortunetelling Is of the Devil
And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers. And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailer to keep them safely: Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks. And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed (Acts 16:16-19,23-26).
Paul and Silas hadn’t preached to the girl or testified to her; they were put in jail because Paul had cast the fortunetelling devil out of her and she couldn’t tell fortunes anymore. Her owners’ money-machine was broken. In jail Paul and Silas looked helpless to the jailer, but their security was in the Lord. They had not committed a crime but had only cast a fortunetelling devil out of a girl.
People today, even some in the Christian world, think it’s wonderful to have their fortunes told, but they don’t know fortunetelling is made possible by the spirit of the devil. Psychics claim they have a gift—it’s a devilish gift.
The Bride Will Suffer
Some, finding themselves in jail like Paul and Silas, would have been angry, grumbling and complaining. Have you ever been persecuted for the sake of Christ? Did you complain if that happened? The Lord didn’t say if you did your best the world would be at your door. Jesus did His best, and they killed Him. He said, If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me (John 15:20,21). The Christian world is not persecuted to a great degree today because it is so much like the world. In fact, the world all too often can’t tell the difference between themselves and Christians. The world loves its own. Why should the world persecute something that looks, talks and acts like themselves? Why persecute the one looking back at you in the mirror?
The Bride, knowing no defeat, is like Jesus. She will suffer for His name’s sake; some may even have to die. I don’t know all we will suffer, but I’ve volunteered my services to the Lord, live or die. I’ve told Him to take me home if He can win more souls through my death. It’s all for His sake, none for mine. The Lord doesn’t need to ask me; I’ve already turned myself over to Him, yielded myself to Him.
Imprisoned for Preaching the Gospel
Everyone, at one time or another, comes to a crossroad that will determine whether he will follow the world or follow the Lord, a crossroad that decides how much of himself he will give. In Germany I went to prison for the sake of Christ, for preaching the Gospel and praying for the sick. Never having been in jail before, I didn’t dream such a thing would happen to me in Germany. While guards stood over me in my hotel room the night through, I was visited by the Lord. He told me He would raise a hand of judgment, and that He would shelter me and take care of me. I knew I would be released; I just didn’t know when. I had a chance to talk to one of my guards—he may be in Heaven one day because of that brief sermon. I told him that the very thing he was guarding me for was proclaimed in the Word of God. I turned to Mark 16 and began to read. He jumped up, ran into the other room. I thought he was going to call more guards, but he was looking for a German Bible. He came rushing back with it, turning the pages to the location for the other guard. They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:18). He apologized for the situation, telling me that he had to do what he was commanded. I said I understood. As I told him about Jesus, the Lord anointed me, blessed me. Maybe conviction dealt with him so strongly that when judgment fell he got saved.
In the morning, I was moved to a grim, dirty jail cell, with double bars on the windows and a heavy iron door. Not too many miles from where I was imprisoned was the Dachau concentration camp, scene of the slaughter of thousands and thousands. I wondered how many of God’s people had waited in that cell before they were sent to the ovens of Hitler—and it was the same cell, I found out later.
Judgment Fell
When the Lord told me He would send judgment, I didn’t know it would be in the form of a hailstorm on Munich the likes of which they had never seen before. Chunks of ice fell from the sky like granite, some hailstones as large as grapefruit. Snowplows were needed to clear the hailstones off the street. Fire department officials said more than 1,000 fire fighters and about 250 policemen were used in the cleanup. One official said the cleanup involved the largest deployment of forces since World War II.
The Lord waited to send the storm until we were out of Munich. Our plane left two hours before it struck. Two thousand panes of glass at the airport terminal were broken. One hundred small planes and 22 commercial air liners were damaged, five Boeing 727’s and five 737’s knocked out of service.
The occult and satanic services were popular in Munich, once the location of Hitler’s headquarters. A lady later wrote me saying she had been in the same hotel where I had held my service, in the same auditorium, attending an occult meeting when the storm struck. She said the noise frightened them almost to death. I’ll never go to a place like that again, she said. She found the Lord in a hurry.
The God of miracles lives, I say again, we don’t know what is going to happen to us, what will take place. Members of the bridal company will live to the exact moment the Lord decides to take them. The Bride will be willing to die or live for His name’s sake. That’s the way it was in Early Church days, and that’s the way it is today.
Testimonies Sealed in Blood
Stephen, the first martyr, couldn’t have been killed had the Lord not put him out as a sacrifice. Saul was there, heard the testimony and witnessed the way he died. Saul became the apostle Paul whom God used so completely, the greatest servant of Lord God that He has ever had. God sacrificed a young man to bring it about. Stephen never would have been able to do what Paul did, but I believe Stephen will share in the reward that Paul receives.
The Early Church came to the place it didn’t make any difference how the Lord used them, and they proved it as persecutions closed in. Fed to lions, burned at the stake, they had first watched loved ones and brothers and sisters in the Lord being killed, heard their screams. Others sang as long as they had breath, sang as they met the lions. Knowing they would soon be devoured, they were covered up with the glory of God, with the Spirit of God.
From that period of persecution comes the story of a man dying for the sake of Christ. Some of his people, knowing he would be burned at the stake, said, Just before you go, if there really is anything beyond life on Earth, somehow let us know. They watched his execution from their cells. It was such a terrible sight they could hardly tell he was human. In an instant his hair was burnt off. All life seemed to be gone, and their hearts sank. A sign didn’t seem to be forthcoming. Then with his very last bit of strength, that saint of God slowly raised a blackened, charred hand to heaven, a silent witness declaring, I see it all, Heaven, everything Jesus told us about. You will find it at the end of the way!
Many who rejoiced at that marvelous testimony went on to give their lives for the sake of Christ. They found living reality through the final testimony of that precious martyr so horribly slain.
The Lord has used many people to give a final witness of Him at their death, to bring reality so moving and true that multitudes have been shaken. I say again, we don’t know what is in store; we only know that God does all things well.
An Hour of Great Visitaion
I’m seeking every day and night to be just like Jesus. I won’t back away from any of the suffering. Whatever He wants…. Pouring His Word into every part of me, into every muscle, every nerve, every cell of my brain, I’m eating the Word, drinking the Word, dining, dining on the Word of God. The Holy Spirit right by my side is teaching me more, explaining whatever I need explained, telling me the things the Lord wants said. Sometimes in an early hour the Lord will wake me. I jump out of bed and reach for pen and paper. I know I’m being visited, that I can’t remember everything that will be said, so I write it down.
We live in a great hour of visitation, a great hour for the Bride, a great hour of coming into the reality of God. If you are a child of God, the Lord has bundled you into His arms; and He is drawing you closer and closer like a mighty magnet, drawing, drawing. As He holds you next to His heart, all your stubbornness must go, all rebellion, all bitterness. Take on the mind of Christ so you can act like Him, so you can be His hands, His eyes, His feet to serve Him to others, to serve Jesus to a lost and dying world in this final hour.
If We Fail, These Will Go to Hell
God showed me multitudes; He brought them before me, multitudes, multitudes as far as one could see. He said, Tell my people if they fail, these will die and go to hell. We have a mission. That’s the reason I’m willing to go night and day. That’s the reason it doesn’t matter where God tells me to go; I’m ready. That’s the reason I will be going from nation to nation; that’s the reason I don’t count my own life dear, only for the service of the Master, so He can use it, do whatever He wills to do, shine His light through me. My voice is His to be used. It will be lifted up in the wilderness, no matter the danger. No matter what this servant of God must face, the grace of God is sufficient.
Death Threats
I’ve faced death many times, not only in other countries but in America. On different occasions the time to kill me has been set. I have been notified of those times. I brushed aside the lawmen sent to protect me and put my trust in God. In one place the security people wanted one of my men who travel with me to throw me down on the platform and cover my body with his to protect me from what they called a vicious gang coming to destroy me. I said, Not so. You’re not going to protect me with your life. I knew if God wanted me to live, I would live. If God wanted me to die, I would die. I went to the platform without fear. Wherever I am, I go before the people in the name of the Lord.
In one country angry people were going to stone us; they got within just a few feet of me with their stones. There I was, carrying on the work of the Lord, praying for the sick; and God was performing miracles. I wasn’t about to leave until the Lord said it was time. He let them get close and then stopped them dead in their tracks. They stood there holding their stones, but not one stone was cast. The God of miracles lives.
In another big city, I was told the time I would be killed in a miracle service. Do you think I would back down on God? Do you think I would run from the enemy? My God has all power, and I am the servant of the Living God. I walked on the platform again without fear.
In Canada at the big center close to the airport, there was a bomb scare in one of my miracle services. Officers were there to protect me, searching every woman’s pocketbook. God had sent me to help those Canadians, to preach Jesus to them. He had sent me with His gifts to deliver them from sickness, from demonic powers. I didn’t believe God would allow the building to be destroyed. But if He did, I knew it would be for His honor and His glory. I was there for God to get all the glory, the honor and praise.
I have just one life to give, and I give it as freely as you would turn and give your hand in a handshake. It took going into the power and greatness of God for me to be able to do that, to honestly tell people that I was ready to die for the sake of the Lord. When your life is on the line, you’ll do anything for Jesus if you really love Him; and you’ll prove it by your works, by the hours you work for Him. You never grumble or complain about His work. Not one time does the Lord hear me complain about doing His work. I will do His work; I will be His preacher, His voice in the wilderness. I will walk with him, do His Holy will.
The Bride’s Birthright
Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me (Psalm 42:8). A song in the night is the Bride’s birthright. Some of you are tormented at night, tossing to and fro; but now is coming a song in the night. Are you going to accept it, or will you keep torment as a bedfellow, wrestling all hours of the night without sleep? Do you walk the floor thinking how miserable you are? There is a song in the night for you that gives you strength to sleep.
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Are you going to claim that promise? The Bride will. Will you be a member of the bridal company in this final hour, a part of the Bride? What are you going to do? Will you claim the promises of God, or will you carry them like a strand of precious gems for looks alone? Will you really use the promises of God? Will you yield to the Spirit? When you yield to the Spirit, the Word is your power, your strength, your life. The Word is everything you need. When the Word becomes yours through your yielding to the Holy Spirit, the miracle supply is automatically yours also in this last hour. The Lord has promised.
For we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world (John 4:42). You who are filled with the Spirit, you who walk with Him can say you have heard Him yourself as He speaks again and again through His Word. Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation (Psalm 68:19). The Psalmist, one of the obedient, said the Lord loaded him down with benefits daily. In the past some of you thought you were doing quite well if you received a blessing once a week. Now you have come into this glorious, precious hour of the miraculous; and you can cry, He loadeth me down daily with benefits! I received a miracle! I was helped; I have a blessing, a new shipment of joy fresh from Heaven. I just talked with the Lord; I won a soul for Him. Through His Holy Word, the Lord is speaking to me.
Rooted and Grounded in Love
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love (John 15:10). It’s as simple as water running downhill to claim the promises of God when you abide in His love. No force required. The Holy Spirit is the worker who bridges the gap between the soul and mind.
Jesus came and connected you with Heaven through His shed blood. Using His wonderful connection, you will come out victorious. Know who you are, who Jesus really is, and know the Holy Spirit, the real Holy Spirit. You must have living reality of Jesus or you will miss the benefits of the Lord. The Holy Spirit gives you that living reality.
When a person is baptized in the Holy Spirit, no matter what dialect, what language the Holy Ghost speaks in, the first thing said usually praises Jesus—if you could understand what the Spirit was saying. I love to hear the Holy Spirit praise the Lord!
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19). This is the hour the Bride will be filled with the fullness of God. She will have insight into how high His love reaches, how low, how wide. No human knowledge can measure or understand the love of God. That kind of understanding comes only through the Holy Spirit. Through the Holy Spirit, the Bride will be able to measure His love. The Holy Spirit will measure His love daily as He walks and talks with her. What cooperation! What communion, what fellowship, what holiness and righteousness!
Blessed Lord, we thank you for this hour, an hour to shout the praises of God night and day, an hour to glorify the Most High. This is the hour to have the tongue of fire, the hour to lift our voices together in one great union of holy believers, one great voice in the wilderness crying, The King cometh! The King cometh!
The Lord loves you with an everlasting love, but how are you going to convince others of His love? How can His love be real to you, how can the Holy Spirit cry it through you if your heart doesn’t cooperate? The love of Jesus must be in your heart in living reality so the Holy Spirit can plant that love in your mind. In your soul’s salvation is the power of the Lord, the Word of God that brings living reality of the Godhead. As you yield to Him, He connects that reality in your soul to your mind, pours it into the mind so that that living reality is in the mind as well as in the soul. Then your mind will not be boggled or bound but will have liberty and freedom in the Holy Spirit, saith the Lord. Then you will be able to have the thoughts of God, the strength that God wills you to have, the power in the good Holy Ghost, joy. Let God move for you with His miraculous supply. The secret of it all is yielding to the Holy Spirit.
The Bride will yield to the Holy Spirit, receiving revelations of God through the Holy Spirit Himself, His will daily, His plan. The Bride, with the favor of God, is being given favor as Esther, a type of the Bride, was given favor in the book of Esther. She is given favor so she can win souls on a scale the world has never before seen God’s people win souls.
A Separating Hour
This is going to be a different hour now, saith the Lord; it’s going to be a different time. Although a greater reality of God will be manifested for all to see, still people will reject Him. God told me of His greatness in 1954; He let me know that His power would be so great, the miracles so mighty that people would come, see the miracles and either accept that God was doing them or else they would blaspheme against the Holy Ghost and He would never deal with them again. That’s what God said about it; He told me the hour would come when no one would straddle the fence. The powers of darkness would draw them to the left or else God’s power of righteousness and holiness would draw them to the right.
You are going one way or the other, saith the Lord, in your believing, in your thinking, in your living. The lukewarm will go to the left. Those who fail to believe God will go to the left, but everyone who wants to believe God will be able to believe Him in this final hour. God will see to it through the Holy Spirit.
God’s Plan Is Leaping to Life
Completely given over to the great I-Am through the power of the Holy Spirit, the Bride will be able to minister in an unbelievable way because she is so yielded to Him. Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world! she cries (I John 4:4). Having no fear of the world, no fear of the darkness, of her persecutors, the Bride knows they can only do what God allows. That’s what God told me about Germany, remember, when I was imprisoned for preaching the Gospel. That was enough to praise the Lord for in victory!
Our enemies and persecutors can only do what God allows. We have moved into the hand of God, and it’s onward Christian soldiers. We are going to war, all-out war. Our walk in the final hour of the Church Age won’t be easy, but it certainly will be exciting, keeping His children wide-eyed wondering what the Lord is going to do next. They will be so occupied with the Lord, that the devil won’t have much time to take their thought life.
God has laid out His endtime plan in His Holy Bible, and now it’s leaping to life. The Bride is on planet Earth today, moving through the power of the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of the Living God. This is our hour of greatness because it’s God’s hour of greatness. Thank God if you are a part of it, a part of the Bride!
Are You a Member of the Bridal Company?
The Lord is ready to move for you. Are you a member of the bridal company? Have you given your life completely to God; have you surrendered to Him? Are you yielded one hundred percent to Him twenty-four hours around the clock, to thus saith the Lord? Does the Bible have not just lip service but top priority in your actions in every way? Do you put God first before everyone and everything you love on planet Earth? That’s what it takes; you must put Him first. If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple (Luke 14:26). You are not fit for His Kingdom if you don’t put God first. The Lord must have first place in every member of the bridal company, saith the Lord.
You who are lukewarm or backslidden, you who are unsaved: Come to Jesus! If you have been failing the Lord, now is the time to measure up. Now is the time to become like Jesus. No matter what you have done, the Lord will forgive you, wipe it all away. His blood is sufficient. After you receive salvation, go on to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit and be all that God wants you to be. Let me pray the sinners’ prayer with you: Oh, God, have mercy upon my soul. I am so sorry that I sinned against you. But I have come home, and I’m going to serve you Lord, the rest of my life. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins, all of my sins. Come on in Jesus! Come into my heart.
If you meant that prayer with all your heart, you are born new, made a new creation, fit to walk with the King, King Jesus. He has come, He is yours. You had been walking in the flesh; now start walking with Him. You can only walk with Him as you walk in His Spirit.
Good Health Is God’s Will for You
You who are sick and afflicted, healing belongs to the children of God. God will even heal sinners. Many times He has healed sinners to show His love for them. Why wouldn’t He heal you? The Lord said if two would agree on any one thing, touching Heaven it would be done. I’m one and you’re two. I am not a healer; I am His believer. Lord, I bring the sick and afflicted to you, the cancer victims, the diabetics, the heart patients, those crippled, those suffering with any disease, those with only a limited time to live—according to medical science. I bring them to you, Lord, for you to make them whole right now as you have made thousands of others well while this servant has prayed. From your supernatural gift of miracles and gifts of healing it comes. In the name of your Son Jesus, heal! Heal, in the holy name of the Lord, in the all-powerful name!
The healing power is flowing. Healings are taking place, miracles, as people accept His power. The Holy Spirit is at work. Let this power work in your body or in the body of one you have prayed for. Let it work night and day to get you well or to get them well. It works. It worked for me many years ago when I was dying and gave me life. Here I am with good health today. It’s the hand of God. I will rejoice to hear the testimony of God’s healing power in your life.
The God of miracles lives. God is on His throne providing the miracle of supply to the Bride of Christ in this last and final hour, bringing you into His greatness. Don’t say it can’t happen to you; it can. It can happen to any human being that wants it, but it must be a full-time desire. Jesus must be first all the time from here on out. Those who grumble and complain will be left in the terrifying wilderness of the Great Tribulation Period.
Thus Saith the Holy Spirit
You do not know the mighty things that I have planned. You do not know what you’re about to enter into. That’s the reason that I am dealing with you night and day. And that’s the reason the devil is battling you in every way in your bodies, in your minds, in your spirit. Even in your prayer time the powers of hell are coming against you, and demons gather around you. But I am there to protect you. Let not your heart be troubled. I’ve told you to not be afraid, but look unto me and trust in me. And you question the fact, why, why am I going through all of this? This is your last hour. And the devil knows that I am going to use you in an unbelievable way, going to use the faith that I have given to you, going to use the love that I have given to you to bring the multitudes into my Kingdom. They must be brought into my Kingdom. Multitudes, multitudes, multitudes, multitudes that no human minds will ever be able to number them, saith the Lord.
I have brought you to this hour. I have planned your life. Do not be afraid, just let me use you. Let me work with you. Don’t let the enemy trouble you in your mind, in your spirit. Recognize him. Know that he is your enemy. Know what he is doing, that he is seeking to keep your mind from your Lord. And he is robbing your mind of the joy and peace that I have sent for you to use. Use my peace. Use my joy. Use my love, and be strong in the might of my greatness in this your last hour.
Many of you are bowing down to the thoughts of the enemy. You’re bowing down to his depression and oppression. You’re bowing to what he is pouring into your minds. It is the enemy, and I seek to give you my peace and my joy and my love. I seek to give you my wisdom and my knowledge. I seek to give you light, light, light—my light—more and more of my light. And I seek to speak to you in every way that I can—in every way that I can—to move upon you, to let you know that I am nigh unto you, to let you know that you do not have to be tormented by the enemy.
Look up, my children, look up. The enemy of your soul is warring against you, against the power of Heaven and against humanity that’s in the darkness. Look up. Redemption draweth nigh, and you have much to do, saith the Lord.
Yield completely to His presence, and know that He is with you. Decide you will not be troubled in your mind, that you will not allow the devil to rob you. Recognize the devil; the Lord uncovered him for you. Recognize when he comes against you, and don’t let him torment you. Rebuke him as though he were there in visible form. Plead the blood of Jesus against him. Yield so to the Holy Spirit that nothing but the peace, love and power of God can flow into your mind from your soul that has been saved by the grace of God. The power of His resurrection is in your soul when you are born new. Let the Holy Spirit serve what is in your soul, the miraculous supply from Heaven.
