The Lord is seeking to open eyes to the strategy of the devil, how he works, how he operates. The Lord taught me in the beginning of this great healing ministry of His that I must know how the devil operates. Many thousands of hours I have spent with the Lord down through the years as He taught me about the kingdom of Lucifer. Now the Lord is bringing the obedient into the greatness of Him, bringing them into that place the Early Church started with, a place of holiness, righteousness, clean living, a place free of deceit and lies. The Lord is positive about this in these messages, telling me what I must give the people.

To keep the Early Church clean, the Lord killed a man and his wife because they each told one lie. The Lord said He has killed in the past, and He will kill again. The Church, the body of Christ, the true body, the Bride, will be pure, clean and holy no matter the cost.

The Lord is alarmed in this hour to see so many Christians in a lukewarm condition throughout the whole earth, those who will be spewed into the Tribulation Period if they don’t break out of their stupor and let God set their hearts on fire to serve Him. How awful to be spewed into the Tribulation Period! The Lord doesn’t want to leave people behind; the Tribulation Period will be the worst time ever on Earth. Jesus foretold this hour: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened (Matthew 24:21,22). Isaiah says that it will be a terrible time: The inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left (Isaiah 24:6).

Could Jesus Have Failed?

The strategy of the devil…what better place to start than Luke 4 when Jesus met the devil head-on: And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered (Luke 4:1,2). That doesn’t mean Jesus had no hunger pangs during the forty days, but now that the fast is over He was ready to eat.

Could Jesus have bowed to Lucifer and worshiped him? He put Himself in jeopardy by coming to Earth in the flesh. The Son of God dared limit Himself in the role of very man as well as very God. The devil rejoiced in such an hour; he waited for Christ to be in a physically weakened condition after forty days of fasting to try to overcome Him. This is the same devil who once was the most beautiful angelic being God had made, the one the Lord treasured above all the angels and trusted the most, the being that caused such rebellion in Heaven that a third of the angels had to be cast out with him. He had great magnetism.

Some people don’t realize that Jesus could have failed, bowed down and worshiped the devil. He had the power, the will to have allowed Himself to be deceived by the devil had He wanted. He had become our elder brother in the flesh. Flesh can give over to the devil any time it wills. Jesus took on all the weaknesses of the flesh when He became a member of the human race. He had a human, weak body just like we have, not a divine body.

The devil appeared, trying to talk Jesus into performing a miracle He was not supposed to perform. The devil knew Jesus was the Son of God, that God takes no directions from Lucifer, performs no miracles because the devil challenges. Nevertheless, the devil advised: If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread (Luke 4:3).

Had Christ tried to prove Himself, He would have shown doubt about who He was. He didn’t have to prove anything to the devil; no one does.

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word of God (Luke 4:4). Bread isn’t that important. I’ve been without it forty days and nights, Jesus is saying, and I’m living on God’s strength, God’s power, love and greatness. I don’t have to turn these stones into bread. I don’t have to perform a miracle to show you anything.

And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time (Luke 4:5). See how the devil tried to “buy” Jesus, but the devil found he couldn’t deceive Him. Jesus used the Word of God three times and sent him on his way. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them (verse 6). This is the strategy of the devil. He worked on the Son of God, and he will work on you. The devil said the power and the glory were his for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. Lucifer claimed all the kingdoms of the world to be his. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine (verses 6,7). That’s all you have to do; it’s very simple. Just bend a knee, Jesus, and I’ll give you the world.

The same devilish spirit that tried to convince the three Hebrew boys to bow down and worship idol gods tempted Jesus. But Jesus was saying, I don’t have to bow down to you. I’ve come to take everything back that you stole. I’ve come to pay the price; my divine blood will pay it. Everything man sold to you I will buy back. Adam, head of the human race, sold out to the devil; but Jesus came to buy back the perfection man once enjoyed with God in the Garden of Eden and to destroy all the works of the devil.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve (Luke 4:8). Don’t give the devil anything but the Word of God; rebuke him through the blood of Jesus. Don’t tell him what you think; he’ll out-debate you. He is a better debater than man but not better than Jesus.

And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence: For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone (Luke 4:9-11). Jesus allowed the devil to move Him around. Now the devil quotes what is written, manipulating God’s Word for his own deceiving purpose. The devil can use scripture. He tries to counterfeit everything God has ever done. Had Jesus in His human body cast Himself down to satisfy the devil, God would have had to let Him be destroyed, and Jesus wouldn’t be our Redeemer. The devil knew that, and Jesus knew it too.

And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season (Luke 4:12,13). Just for a season the devil departed. He won’t leave you for good either. Someone said, “I wish the devil would leave me alone.” It would be wonderful if we could wish him gone, but the Bible tells us to resist him. Resist him with the Word of God like Jesus did. The devil couldn’t do anything with Jesus. Through the blood of Jesus you have that kind of power now.

Eat—and Die

And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die (Genesis 2:15-17). The Lord plainly spelled out right and wrong, and He is still spelling it out today. The devil disputes this scripture, telling people that it is all right to sin a little bit, that no one lives free from sin. It’s a story thousands of years old, the devil’s story. He is still deceiving people with that same old dirty lie, convincing them that they surely won’t go to hell for their sins. Once you find Jesus, they reason, no matter if you sin afterward you won’t go to hell. What a lie! The stench of the devil reaches to high heaven. His stench has certainly polluted the air for God’s people. God will be glad when that stench is in the lake of fire.

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden (Genesis 3:1)? It’s the same old devil, the same strategy he later used when he talked to Jesus: Now didn’t God say that if you dashed your foot against a stone, the angels would take care of you? Why, you can’t be destroyed. You have angels to care for you.

And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden (Genesis 3:2). Eve had the truth; she preached the truth but didn’t hold on to it. Stay in the truth and never let the devil rob you of it. You degrade yourself by reasoning with the devil. Remember who you are in Christ; remember the dignity God has given you as an upright person, and never bow to the devil. Jesus came with power over him and has given you that same power.

But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die (Genesis 3:3,4). Preachers of false doctrine spread this same lie: It’s all right to sin. Will you be one who listens to the devil’s lies because along with the lies some good things are thrown in? Would you eat a pie that you knew had poison in part of it? This wasn’t the first time the devil had approached Eve; she had been listening to him on different occasions. He fascinated her.

The devil told Eve, For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil (Genesis 3:5). Knowing good and evil does not make one a god. You must have salvation, become a new creature in Christ Jesus to be a son or daughter of God.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat (Genesis 3:6).

The devil introduced Eve to the tree close up. Strong in the might and keeping power of God, Eve had never known sin in the beginning. The Lord gave Adam and Eve all the power they needed to resist the devil, to put him to flight, all the power Jesus had when He came to Earth. They didn’t have to bow to the devil; God did not expect them to bow. He didn’t know they would bow down because He didn’t want to know what they were going to do. Looking into their future would not have been trusting them. A person who is close to God won’t listen to the devil at any time, but Eve listened and kept going to the tree.

Sin, like the fruit on the forbidden tree, is pleasant to the eyes. Why do you think more people are in sin than in righteousness? The righteousness of God does not look as appealing as sin does to the natural man. You must be born new before salvation is something wonderful to you, and righteousness looks good.

Souls Are Being Destroyed

Some say sin holds no pleasure, but they’re wrong. However, pleasure in sin won’t last; it’s false. People don’t realize what they are handling when they are in sin, what they are doing. You don’t consider that the world’s bright lights can blink off just any time. Sin brings a phony life filled with the danger of suddenly being cast into hell. One wreck on the highway could do it.

I was surrounded with righteous living when I was a boy, but not until I had that righteousness inside did it look beautiful to me and sin ugly. Up to that point in my life I thought sin was fascinating. I wasn’t miserable in sin. I was happier than a lot of Christians I had seen who acted as though the devil were about to get them. I hardly knew the devil was alive. The devil and I in those days got along fine. It was when I changed sides that he began fighting me. We’ve been at war ever since.

Many people are in league with the devil today, with the occult because they think it makes them wise. They want to understanding the universe, but they search for that understanding in the wrong places. Getting knowledge from a psychic is a quick way to learn what the devil wants you to have. Some things may be true, but the false is liberally mixed in.

Playing with the devil is like playing with an alligator. I read the story of a little boy who played with the alligator close to his house. His daddy warned him over and over not to do it, but he thought it was fun to tantalize the alligator. Again and again his daddy punished him for disobeying, but the little boy was still fascinated by the alligator. Finally one day the daddy heard a scream; the alligator had the boy and was gone. That which had fascinated the boy destroyed him.

This gives us a real picture of sin—old, ugly, devilish sin. When you don’t listen to God, you are in danger of the sin-alligator getting you before you can get fixed. No time to pray, you suddenly can be destroyed. That child was destroyed in a flash. He had time to let out only one scream before it was over. Think how that father felt standing on the bank, helpless and grief-stricken. Think how God the Father feels standing on the bank of life, watching souls being destroyed that His precious Son died to save, and there is not a thing He can do. He has warned and warned people against sin, told them what would happen, told about the place of eternal torment and fire, that sin is death, but still they find a secret thrill in sin.

The little boy thought he could avoid the dangerous alligator, but one day he was caught off guard. That’s the way it will be with you if you continue to be fascinated with sin.

The devil is working against you, and you need to know it. Don’t play with him; don’t flirt with his ways. Don’t give over to him in any way. When you use one tiny seed of his deceit, you are giving over to the devil, saith the Lord. You are on dangerous ground.

Playing around with the devil’s thoughts is flirting with sin. Sin started with a thought, the wrong kind of idea in an angelic being that God had made: Lucifer. That thought went into the first seed of disobedience, the first tiny seed of deceit. That one tiny seed of deceit spread through Heaven and robbed God of one third of the angels, perhaps millions of them. We don’t know how many angels followed Lucifer. We only know the devil has a mighty army of them.

Some Christians are fascinated with sin, seeing how close to the world they can get without completely backsliding. Eve was like that. She finally took the fruit and ate.

Fig-Leaf Religion

Eve had talked and talked to Adam, telling him how beautiful the fruit was, wondering if God was keeping something marvelous from them. I’d just like you to hear the serpent talk, she told Adam. I believe he would convince you. Adam didn’t have time for anything like that at first, but Eve kept on and on. Then when she ate of the fruit, Adam decided he might as well go ahead and eat, too. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons (Genesis 3:7). Now they recognized right from wrong, but it was to their sorrow.

And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou (Genesis 3:8,9)? It was a heartbreaking cry from God to the man He had made.

“Fig-leaf religion” was introduced in Eden. More churches teach fig-leaf religion than teach the truth: Be baptized in water; wash all your sins away forever no matter what you might do. Once in grace, always in grace. Be confirmed when you are a baby, and you’ll go to Heaven. Your church will take you to Heaven. These teachings are doctrines of devils. Nothing but the blood of Jesus will save you. For there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). But the devil is still telling his lies and getting away with them.

Satan Presented Himself before the Lord

Strategy: generalship, the science of planning and directing large scale military operations. The devil plans some big operations, maneuvering his forces into the most advantageous position prior to the actual engagement. He is a cunning general. The fallen angels under him—the ones the Lord is not holding in chains of darkness—and the created demons that he has been able to produce must all obey him. His operation baffles the mind.

Strategy is a plan of action based on the skill in managing or planning. Satan’s strategy is not a hit-skip-miss thing; he plans. The strategy he uses with his demonic forces for one soul is incredible. Jesus counted one soul more valuable than all the riches in the world. Since God counts one soul that valuable, the devil will do anything within his power to rob God of that soul. The devil doesn’t rob God by the multitudes, he robs one by one. He deals with individuals.

The devil walks the earth. He is a real devil with form just like Jesus had form when He walked the earth, just like you and I have form. I’ve seen him. He has eyes, ears, teeth. It’s a hideous face that he has, but it is a face.

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it (Job 1:6,7). Notice how bold Satan is before God. He knows God will not destroy him yet, that he has a certain length of time. His end is written in God’s Word.

And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil (Job 1:8). Job had stayed away from all evil, all deceit; and the devil couldn’t get near him up to that time. Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand (verses 9,12). God gives the devil orders, and he has to obey them. Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD (verse 12).

Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD. And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it (Job 2:1,2). Satan wanted God to know he had been busy; he was after every human being on planet Earth to destroy them all. Satan is still walking up and down the earth today.

And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause (Job 2:3). Notice the pride in God’s voice as He talks about Job. He is proud of His children whom He can put on the battlefield before the devil, and say, You haven’t been able to do anything with that one yet. See my pride and joy; you can’t get that one to backslide.

The devil says no one can be perfect and upright, but Job kept his integrity in the face of terrible losses. All Job’s possessions were destroyed, his children killed. And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life (Job 2:4). Satan is saying he knows the secret: God, you wouldn’t let me take Job’s life; he is holding on to you just because he wants to live. And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life (verse 6). God wouldn’t let Satan kill Job; He was going to use him as a testimony. For thousands of years Job would be the means of blessing multitudes by his steadfastness.

So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown (Job 2:7). If you’ve ever suffered with one boil, you know being covered with them would be excruciatingly painful. The devil thought this one up. It was the worst he had to serve, covering Job from head to toe with boils.

Job, biblical scholars think, lived before the Law was given; he hadn’t heard the conversations between God and the devil, nor did he have the blood of Jesus to rely on as we have today, and yet Job was steadfast in the Lord. God can’t say about many what He said about Job.

Overcome the Wicked One

Their feelings hurt over trifles, some Christians back away from God, stay out of church, stop praying and fasting. They had prayed and fasted enough to stir up the devil, and then they quit. Fast and pray until you conquer the devil in the name of Jesus. Don’t stop when things get rocky. The devil does not take lightly man’s dedication to God.

When Jesus’ disciples asked why He was able to deliver a man’s lunatic son whom they hadn’t been able to set free, He answered: Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21). The devil will come after you whether you fast or not, but you won’t be ready for him unless you back up your prayers with fasting. Prayer, fasting and living in the Word prepare you to overcome the enemy through the blood of the Lamb. The Lord warns you about the devil’s cunning; be alert for his deceit.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith (I Peter 5:8,9). Peter wrote these words after Calvary. Peter is saying to be sincere in the things of God because your enemy the devil goes about as a roaring lion. If you could see him like this, you would separate from him in a hurry.

Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee (Jude 9). Michael is the head of the armies of God, the captain, the great angel with mighty strength and power who will lead the host of Heaven against the devil during the Tribulation Period. Moses disobeyed God, the devil told Michael, so I’ll take the body. I claim it. Michael didn’t dare rebuke the devil, but said, The Lord rebuke thee! That’s how we must rebuke him, too. Rebuke the devil in the name of the Lord.

I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. These young men had overcome the devil, living free from sin. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father. I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one (I John 2:13,14). The Lord lets you know that you can overcome the wicked one, all the sins of Lucifer, all the deceit—when the Word of God abides in you.

And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming (I John 2:28). How can we not be ashamed? By not committing any sin. When Adam and Eve committed one sin, they were ashamed and hid from God. John is saying be free from all deceit, from every sin.

If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him (I John 2:29). Every verb in the English language that ends in e-t-h means to continue. You must continue to live in righteousness.

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure (I John 3:1-3). If you have this hope of His appearance, you are without spot, blemish, wrinkle or any such thing. How could a Son of God sin and get by? Lucifer didn’t, nor did the multitudes of angels that rebelled with him.

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin (I John 3:4,5). People twist these scriptures around to suit their purposes, but the Bible is very clear about sin: The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:4,20). Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous (I John 3:6,7). If we live righteously, we are like Jesus in whom no guile was found.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil (I John 3:8). If the Lord would let you by with one sin, He would have to apologize to Adam and Eve for driving them out of the Garden. He hasn’t apologized in 6,000 years, and He never will. His Son died to destroy the works of the devil. God tolerates no sin.

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God (I John 3:9). This doesn’t mean you do not have the ability to sin, for you are a free moral agent able to make your own choice between accepting God or rejecting Him. This verse means the devil can’t make you sin unless you want to. If you willfully sin, if you know something is a sin and you do it anyway, then no longer is there a sacrifice called Jesus to save you from your sins unless you repent again.

In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother (I John 3:10). The children of God manifest holy lives. Those who don’t live holy are not children of God but belong to the devil. Only two classifications are possible: the devil’s children and God’s children. If you do not live righteously day and night, you are not of God; those who gossip and tell stories about their brothers and sisters in Christ are not saved. You don’t gossip about God’s people if you have God’s love in your heart. Be on your guard; don’t listen to those who gossip about others. If you are not careful, you will be taken in by their spirit; and that little seed of deceit will enter your heart. God gave me this for you.

Deceit Began in the Heart of Lucifer

The devil is the source of all sin; God has no part in sin. All hate, envy, strife, malice, deceit, clamor, sorrow spring from Satan. He is the author of death; he caused it. In fact, he is death. Had man not fallen into Satan’s hands, there would be no death. Man would have lived forever in the Garden of Eden. The source of all despair, depression, oppression, all devil possession, all lust, all evil darkness is Satan the father of lies. All corrupt conversation, adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry began with Lucifer. He is the source of witchcraft—and we have plenty of that today. Fortunetellers, astrologers all belong to the devil; they’re the devil’s work. Hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, seditions, heresies, murders, drunkenness, revelling and such like all come from the devil. The fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death (Revelation 21:8).

God wants you to be aware of the seed of deceit. He hates that seed; it started in Heaven in the heart of Lucifer, saith the Lord. He generated that seed through a thought of disobedience. The Lord had made him free; He made all the angels with free choice. God didn’t want them to be like robots. He wanted to be worshiped by them because they loved Him.

Ages ago the angels made their choice to go with either God or Lucifer, and no longer do they have choice. People on Earth now are making their choice; when they enter eternity that choice is final. You are either going to choose God here on Earth or the devil.

God did not know beforehand that the angels would sin anymore than He knew Adam and Eve would sin. When He made them, God refused to look into their futures. God isn’t like that. He wants angels and people as well to trust Him, and so He put His trust in angels and people.

Examine yourself closely—that’s thus saith the Lord—and see if you have one tiny seed of deceit. The Lord says that seed is so very small you cannot see it with the naked eye. You must have the Holy Spirit to help discern whether or not you have it. Not feeling that tiny, tiny seed in their spirits deceives many people. But the Holy Spirit feels it. If you yield to the Holy Spirit, you will know whether or not deceit is there.

Deceit is dangerous. You cannot afford to cover one tiny particle of deceit. You can’t allow it. God said there is a takeover by the devil in this hour as the spirit of the Antichrist pushes the world into chaos. The devil has dragged our nation into widespread immorality in the last few years. Devil-possessed, young and old alike, are everywhere.

One seed, one seed of deceit entered Eve’s heart, just one tiny seed invisible to her. She didn’t realize what the devil was handing her, a tiny, tiny harmless-looking seed. One seed entered Adam’s heart, and he gave over to a deceived Eve. Be careful around anyone who is deceived—it may be your own companion—for you can be deceived, too.

How can you get deceit? From people you associate with, from their minds, by reading the wrong material, looking at lewd pictures, watching devilish movies at home or the theater, by not turning away from these things. Some seek the forbidden out of curiosity, deceiving themselves; they like what they are seeing, they enjoy it. Not disgusted at all with pornographic material, they willingly are drawn deeper into it.

Going to the wrong kind of movies brings deceit, movies full of blasphemy. Curse words rolling forth combine with lust, filth, sadistic violence to fill the screens. Video stores rent many such films; people can get them thinking no one else will know, movies they don’t want others—especially their preacher—to know they look at. This is thus saith the Lord; I wrote it down. People steal away with suggestive material, thinking it is harmless. The Lord says claiming smut to be harmless is a lie of the devil, the same devil that made the forbidden tree look so innocent, so glamorous. Sin is not harmless; sin is death, saith the Lord. If you are doing these kind of things, you are yielding to deceit; there is deceit in your heart, saith the Lord. You are not ready for the Rapture. But because the Lord loves you, He is trying to get you to get ready.

Dangerous Cover-Ups

People become accustomed to hiding feelings and thoughts, covering up actions they know are not quite right, that bit of giving over to the lust of the flesh. “Oh, I’m not going to do anything about it,” they think. They just play around a little. It’s dangerous. Eve didn’t intend to eat the fruit; she only was going to look at it. It was pleasant to the eyes.

The Lord says you grow accustomed to covering up little things. You know they are not right in the eyes of God, but the devil deceives you because you still feel the Spirit of God. One morning you will wake up and the Spirit will be gone. It has happened to others.

Scheming, trying to outwit God is dangerous. Scheming to cover up a little wrong is indulging in deceit. The Lord said it could destroy everything for you. You start with that tiny seed by telling half-truths without noting the deceit they carry. This is the picture the Lord gave me. God does not deal in half-truths. He has nothing to do with them. If you mix one tiny seed of deceit in what you are telling, God has no part of it. He won’t accept it, won’t back it up or uphold you. People have lost their salvation because of telling half-truths. Schemers live by their wits, not by the Spirit of God. You don’t have to scheme to cover anything if you are living for God and not committing any wrong.

Manipulation is the strategy of the devil, saith the Lord. The devil manipulates. Whom do you want to belong to? Who is your master? Jesus said, No servant can serve two masters (Luke 16:13). If you maneuver to get your own way, falling into just a little deceit, remember: deceit multiplies. You try to cover more and more wrong, but you can’t cover deceit, the Lord said, not one tiny particle. The Lord sees it all. Deceit, trying to cover up that which is wrong from your loved ones may work for a little while, but you can’t cover anything from the loving eyes of God. Sooner or later that deceit will become evident to others, too, if you don’t put an end to it. God cries out to you just like He did to Lucifer when He tried to help him, tried to tell him the way he was going was wrong. Did Lucifer heed God? No. The seed was generating, multiplying, beginning to spread into other angels that Lucifer had great influence over.

Leeches of Deceit

How do leeches of the mind alter our affections? In a great way. We have come to a place in our society that people are not greatly offended by adultery, fornication. Those demons of lust can leech you and have you living a life of pretense. You cover, trying to make your dedication to God look real. You are just a hypocrite, pretending to serve Him with artificial behavior.

If you are leeched, you try to impress people with your character, that you are right and everyone else wrong. You tell others they’re ungodly when you are the ungodly one. You tell them you’re saved when you are unsaved. You’re deceived. I’ve listened to this kind of chatter; it’s devil talk. Your mannerisms are for effect—the wrong effect in God’s eyes. The characteristics of Jesus are not shining through. Darkness is there when your mind is leeched. If the devil can bring darkness to your mind, shutting out the truth, he will get the soul, saith the Lord.

Leeches can turn affections into something devilish, directing the person to that which is wrong, that which is of the world. The Bible says to set your affections on things above and not on the things of the earth. A leeched mind is a deceived mind; it doesn’t work right.

Your affections change when you are leeched; you love the wrong things. If you are not careful you will think you love someone else’s companion, but it will be plain lust.

God has let me see leeches, shown me how they work on the mind, how they cluster and take over more and more until they go into the soul. Leeches seek to block truth out of the mind. Jesus said, And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you (John 15:7). You must stay in the truth; it’s your only liberty, your only safety from the devil. He can’t defeat the truth.

Jesus came saying, I am the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Jesus is truth. Did the devil defeat Him? No. Jesus defeated the devil, conquering death, hell and the grave. When He ascended back to Heaven it was with complete victory for us for all time and eternity.

Can leeched minds cause people to think they have one or even all nine gifts of the Spirit, especially the gift of discerning? Yes. Discerning is usually the gift a leeched mind claims to have; but chances are that person doesn’t even have the gift of salvation, doesn’t really know what the gift of discerning is. The devil loves it. I’ve never seen the first layperson with the gift of discerning.

In 1954 when the Lord gave me the gift of discerning of spirits, He lived with me night and day for weeks, teaching me about this most fragile of all the gifts. I had to know the Spirit of God, the spirit of man and the spirit of the devil. Would people with leeched minds suddenly have the gift of discerning? Ridiculous! They have a gift of deceit from the devil. If they possessed a little discerning they would know the devil had them.

People who lie about God’s gifts are in a lost condition. I wouldn’t have dared tell anyone I had a gift until it was proven. I didn’t even tell my own people, my own parents until I saw it operate. My wife, Angel, and I were miles away from them when I received the first gift in my life, the gift of healing. I thought I had the biggest surprise in the world for my parents, that they would be flabbergasted. But my mother wrote, “Honey, I was expecting it all the time.” Other members of my family expected it, too. Everyone was expecting it except me, it seems. I didn’t think the Lord would ever give me one of the nine gifts of the Spirit, and I didn’t ask for them.

When He was dealing with me, I told Him to give the gifts to someone else. I just wanted to preach and pray the prayer of faith for the sick. I believed in the gifts, and I would never fight them, but I didn’t seek them. I saw the consecration and dedication required to have the gifts, the forty-day fasts, the hours each day spent with the Lord. But then I went down to death’s door; in that dying hour I realized that nothing mattered but what I did for Jesus.

I hadn’t realized what God had incorporated in the gift of the discerning of spirits or known how it would operate. I knew the Bible mentioned it, but I didn’t know what that gift really meant. You don’t either. You may think you want the gift of discerning, but you don’t. All hell boiled over when God gave me this gift. Suddenly I could see devils the way you see people. They would come into my room. The Lord brought them before me on purpose. Other times they would just be there. I had to learn not to be afraid of them. I got disgusted looking at them, studying them, their strategy and how they operated. The Lord told me that I wasn’t to ask anyone else but Him about the gift of discerning of spirits, for no one else would understand.

Some people with leeched minds claim to have all nine gifts of the Spirit. They have nothing. I’ve told them that, and they became angry and decided I was of the devil. The devil talks through people to accuse God’s true children of being wrong. I’ve heard the devil talk like that more times than one; but I know that devil, I know those demons and I know those leeches. I have been taught by God. He identified them.

Having leeches of the mind is not devil possession; devil possession comes when the leeches drop into the soul. Leeches of the mind rob you, choke out more and more of the life of God, the happiness of God. Your thinking isn’t right, for you have drifted away from the mind of Christ. You are in trouble. Increasing in number, leeches control the mind until they are able to take over your soul; and your salvation is lost.

If you are doing things that would invite one leech, you have some of the devil’s cargo in your mind. If it lands in your soul, that’s sin. The devil plants leeches in the mind, directing the thought life, working to use your eyes like he used Eve’s. She looked at the fruit through leeches, but not until she ate the fruit did she backslide.

I had never heard of leeches until the Lord told me about them, never read about them. Then I saw tormented minds, people unable to reason with God because they let the devil leech them.

What Kind of Powers Does the Devil Have?

Does Satan know what is in your mind? The devil knows what you are thinking: he just doesn’t know what you’re going to do about it. He is hoping to get you to think the wrong things, and then act those things out. He hangs around to make sure he does all he can to influence you. That’s the reason you’d better have the right thoughts. The Bible tells us what to think on: Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8).

If Satan can’t create life, how can the Antichrist be born? He will have a human body, but the devil will be in it, a demon in a human body to make a devil-man. He won’t have life in him but death. The human body could not live unless God gave that power.

If demons are liars, what was the purpose of Jesus asking their names? Did He use wisdom in light of the fact that some present-day ministries make the mistake of asking the names of demons only to find themselves tangled up in lengthy conversations with familiar spirits to the hurt of the believer who needs help? Jesus never made a mistake, nor was He guilty of any unwise action. He knew what kind of demons He was dealing with; He would have been able to see through any lie they may have told Him. He said, In my name shall they cast out devils (Mark 16:17). Devils are cast out in the name of Jesus.

I don’t ask demons their names; I don’t care. They are just devils, and I say, Come out! in the name of Jesus! Demons do not name themselves when they come out. the Lord told me to go by the Word of God, and the Lord doesn’t tell us to cast out demons one by one or ask their names. I’m the spirit of lust; I’m the spirit of fornication; I’m a lying spirit—they are all devils. The power of the Lord is what casts them out. I want them out as fast as the Lord can get them out. God must deal with stupidity instead of His wisdom in many people. Preachers not right with God have played around with the devil, and familiar spirits have taken them over, deceived them, and they think they have a gift. It is a lie of the devil. God is not at fault.

What kind of powers does the devil have? What kind of abilities and talents? Does he have the same abilities and talents he had in Heaven? Did he lose some of God’s gifts to him? Can he do the same things ability- or talent-wise now for destruction? No, he doesn’t have the same talents or the same abilities. He tries to counterfeit them, to fake his way through. He forfeited all the gifts of God when he was cast out of Heaven. He once had ability to make beautiful music—no longer. He had the ability to make all kinds of beautiful things, but he lost it, and now everything he makes is phony. He has abilities of death, the ability to destroy people in hell if they yield to him. But he doesn’t have the ability to give life. He can’t make a flower grow, one blade of grass, one vegetable.

How can the devil trick you? In thousands of ways. Don’t fall for his first trick, for if you do, you are open to more. He has no truth; he’s all false, all lies, and so he tricks you with that tiny first thought. Don’t let him have your thought life. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (II Corinthians 10:5). The devil’s power is limited. Cast down every thought not of God with the truth. Busy yourself with using the truth.

Hell Has Been Enlarged

Can we be sure that sin will never be allowed to wreck Heaven or our lives after the devil is in the lake of fire? You can be sure if you believe God. If not, you can’t be sure. You have no assurance if you exclude the truth. If you accept what God has said in His Word, you can be sure sin will not wreck Heaven or your life. Lucifer is the source of all sin, and God will prove it before He casts him into the lake of fire. In the Perfect Age while Lucifer is confined in the bottomless pit, sin will be confined in the hearts of the unsaved; they will not be able to manifest violence in any great way at all. At the end of a thousand years, however, Lucifer will be released for a little season, gather an army to fight Christ and His host; but the army will be destroyed by fire from heaven and Lucifer cast into the lake of fire. The lake of fire will be sealed off from those who have chosen Christ. Lucifer will take all sin with him. John saw a beautiful city coming down from Heaven to rest upon a new Earth.

At the White Throne Judgment, the wicked dead will be judged, and it won’t take years to do it. God is Lord God Almighty. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41). The devil, the false prophet, the Antichrist and the fallen angels will not be present at the White Throne Judgment, for they will have already been judged and thrown into the lake of fire. God’s people won’t be there either; they received their judgment at the Cross and were judged acceptable to God because Jesus lives in their hearts.

Hell, originally prepared for the devil and his angels, was later enlarged to receive human beings that turned away from God. When God seals hell off for eternity, He will erase it from His memory and will wipe away all tears, and that includes His. He will wipe the memory, saith the Lord, of Lucifer, the wicked dead, and the fallen angels at last out of His mind. He has the power to never think of them again, and He will never again give them a thought.

Thank God for Jesus, for the power of God, and for the light of Jesus that magnifies every tiny deceit of sin! If you’ll walk close to God and let the Holy Spirit abide within, you can detect every seed of deceit. I’ve dealt with certain people for years, telling them over and over what was deceit. Some listen; some won’t. Some listen awhile but then slip back. I feel their deceit of doubt, especially now since the gift of miracles is working more and more through me.

I feel deceit like never before through the Spirit of God, one tiny, tiny seed of deceit. How strange it is. I don’t always tell a person; in fact, I usually don’t. Most are not ready to be told, but they know they are doing something they shouldn’t. Some I have told, but when I rub elbows with them I feel that same deceit. They would be shocked if they knew I knew. I don’t tell everything I know, or God wouldn’t let me know so much. I have to use the wisdom of God to know when God has prepared the person to deal with the truth, and God has to get the person ready. Other times, He will bomb people with the truth when they have let the devil take them over. The devil is uncovered through what he forces a person to say. God moves on me to deal with them as though dealing with demons themselves, to take authority over them, to not put up with demonic power, demonic thoughts in them. This is thus saith the Lord.

In this last hour, God is giving more and more wisdom to the Bride of Christ. She will not be deceived, not go into fanaticism, not accept the claims of people who say they have God when they don’t. God wants you to understand Him. To understand how God works, you need to know what His enemy has done, is doing and will do. If you don’t know, you can become confused and blame God for works of the devil. God’s people have not been able to separate His works from the devil’s down through these hundreds of years, and they have blamed God for all the bad, including sin. The devil has been able to leech many minds this way. Never blame God for anything wrong.

You who are lost and undone without God, that deceit will take you right on into hell. If you have one tiny seed of deceit in you, if you are doing anything questionable, you are on dangerous ground, saith the Lord. The Lord has been so generous to help you, working and working with you. But thus saith the Lord, He is not going to continue to be longsuffering on and on in this last hour. You are going one way or the other. If you choose not to go God’s way, you will be snatched right into the hands of the devil because his power is growing that strong on planet Earth. The world is being made ready for the Antichrist to set up his kingdom, his government.

Search your heart; make sure not one tiny speck of deceit is there. That speck of deceit can rob you of Heaven, saith the Lord. You who are not saved, pray with me now: Oh, God, save my soul! Forgive me of my sins. I’m so sorry that I sinned against you, but I have come home, and I’m going to serve you, Lord, the rest of my life. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. Come on into my heart Jesus! Come on in Jesus!

God Is the Healer

You who have a child sick or disabled, let the Lord heal it, re-create its brain, make it whole. If it needs sight, let the Lord give sight. It’s hard to tell how many blind children have been healed through this ministry. You who need God’s healing touch, let the Lord move for you. I am not a healer but an instrument of clay. No one is more amazed than I am about the things God has wrought through consecrated, dedicated clay for the Master’s use. I know where this power comes from, and I know I have nothing to do with it.

Lord, I bring the sick and afflicted to you. You said, I am the Lord that healeth thee (Exodus15:26). You have promised healing in your Holy Word. I bring the cancer victims, diabetics, heart patients, the stroke victims, the incurable cases that are curable through your mighty healing power, your mighty miracle power. I bring the little afflicted ones to you, all the sick and afflicted who will look to you today for healing. From your mighty supernatural gift of miracles and your gifts of healing it comes in the name of your Son Jesus. Heal! in the name of Lord. Heal! in the holy name of Jesus. The healing power is moving, flowing into bodies. This power will get you well when you believe, nothing doubting. It got me well. Believe it; trust it. It’s healing from Heaven. Faith in God heals the sick.

You must be delivered and stay delivered from every particle of deceit, or you will not win eternal life, eternal Heaven with your eternal God. He loves you with an everlasting love. Open your eyes and see; open your ears and hear what the Spirit is saying to you. Yield to Him and He will lead you into His paths of righteousness for His name’s sake, feed you on manna from above. Only the pure and holy will be caught away with Jesus in this last and final hour. God’s Holy Spirit works around the clock, seeking to deliver, to open eyes to the strategy of Lucifer.
