The Reason God Works Like He Does on Planet Earth
by Ernest Angley
August 1990
In the Garden of Eden, God was able to work according to His will…in the very beginning. Adam, a man perfect in all his ways, was created because the clay yielded completely to God’s will. Then in His great love, God made Adam a companion. Perfect love, trust, obedience in Eden formed an atmosphere heavenly, divine. Sickness and sin were unknown because God had His way…at first. The civilization in Eden began in accord with God’s will.
Why Did God Trust Adam and Eve?
How the Lord trusts yielded, consecrated, dedicated clay! God did not keep His ways secret from Adam and Eve; they knew Him just like you know your two hands. They had no doubt that God meant what He said, that He could not lie. They recognized their own righteousness to be pure and holy like God’s. God made them that way. Adam and Eve looked forward to the cool of the day when God came down to commune with them. They understood how to take hold of His hand, how to walk and fellowship with Him. God delighted in their understanding. He loved them; they were a part of Him, a part of His heart and mind.
God did not know they were going to sin; He trusted them. He was God; He could have known. Had He known it, He never would have created them. But He told me one day He put complete trust in man so that man in turn would trust Him completely. It would not have been trusting the man and woman He had made had He looked into their future to see whether they would fail Him. Although God made them with free choice to serve Him or not to serve Him, He warned them about the results of disobedience.
But then in spite of God’s warning, man reached for the disobedience outside Eden; and God could no longer move on behalf of man as He desired.
God Limited Himself
God could have spoken the ark into existence for Noah and his family, but that was not His way. God limited Himself when He gave man free will, and He could only work with man as man yielded to Him daily. Noah and his family had the privilege of free choice throughout the entire time of the ark’s construction. Daily they could choose to yield to God, His holiness, His righteousness or yield to the sins of the world, the evil imaginations of the heart, to Lucifer himself. God waited for man to choose daily the way of escape. Man had to yield to God one hundred percent if he expected to be saved, delivered. Noah and his family yielded completely to the holiness and grace of God. Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord (Genesis 6:8). In yielding to that grace, Noah enabled God to work for him.
The rest of the world in Noah’s day wanted a different path. Man’s unwillingness to yield to God grew so strong that He had no choice but to destroy a whole civilization in one flood save eight souls. God could not have His way with the wicked in Noah’s day; they were controlled by the devil completely. Every imagination of their hearts was evil continually, every thought. Just as it is possible for God’s people to take on the mind of Jesus, those people took on the mind of Lucifer.
In this final hour, saith the Lord, people will either take on the mind of Christ or the mind of Lucifer. It will be one or the other, to the left or to the right. The great separating time is now here. The Lord separated people…the good from the wicked…in Noah’s day before destruction came, and He is doing it again.
Jesus Reintroduced Man to His God
At the fall of Adam and Eve, the human race as a whole had lost the knowledge of God, lost the care, the miracles, the works. Unbelief had robbed man of God’s miracle promises. These holy promises of God, found in His Word, are ours; but when we fail to claim them, we are robbed. Having all God’s benefits available, many still ignore them in much the same manner of the civilization that God destroyed with a flood.
Innocent blood was shed in our place to provide us with a way of escape from the sin nature we were born with. Jesus became a part of us, bone of our bone, flesh of our flesh, so that we could become a part of Him, so that we could have thoughts like His, ways like His, so that we could understand how God works. Jesus came to reintroduce man and woman to God.
In great simplicity, Jesus taught His disciples about His Father, taught understanding of Him, describing how the Father worked on planet Earth, what He would and would not accept.
For the most part, man, so accustomed to his own ways, has not understood the ways of God. We read in the Old Testament: My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:8,9). Jesus came to bridge that gap of understanding between man and his God. He wants us to know why God works as He does. II Peter 3:18 tells us to grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Christ made all who are born again new creations, members of a new civilization through Him. And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6).
Jesus brought His wonderful mind for us to draw from, the mind He used when He was here on Earth. Everything that went into the making of His mind is now available to us through the power of the Holy Ghost. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5). If His mind is in you, you have His thoughts, His ways. But we have the mind of Christ (I Corinthians 2:16).
Jesus, when He was on Earth, possessed human ways as well as divine ways; for He came not only as very man but also as very God. Daily, divinity shone through Him along with the human spirit. Divinity came to Earth to take on the form of flesh, to become related to the human race, eligible to bear their sins, nail them to the cross.
Bringing understanding of the Godhead, Jesus told His followers about the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the third member of the Trinity that would come to be our Teacher. After the Crucifixion and Resurrection, just before Jesus ascended back into Heaven He commanded them [His disciples] that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence (Acts 1:4,5).
Living Sacrifices, Free from Sin
Today only as we yield daily through the power of the Holy Ghost to the grace of God can He work through us. When God can find those who yield to Him one hundred percent, He performs wonders. In the Early Church, for instance, the clay was yielded in God’s hands to be molded, shaped into any vessels needed. Not counting their own lives dear, the Early Church was willingly obedient unto death, their bodies on the altar of living sacrifice. Taking on the mind of Jesus they lived free from all sin. They talked like Jesus, lived like Him. They did His works. Without resistance, the clay was molded daily by the Potter’s hand.
In this hour, we must yield to the Lord as completely as the Early Church. The reason God has not been able to work greater in the past is that the clay has not been yielded, not surrendered to Him, not holy in His hands. Before the Lord can work with the clay it must be pure and clean through the blood of the Lamb. The Lord cannot make a vessel from clay that is contaminated with sin; for not until every sin is gone, not until the clay is pure is it yielded.
Jesus Warns of This Hour
Jesus told us that the time just before His coming would be like the days of Noah: But as the days of Noe were, so shall the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come (Matthew 24:37-42). People turned away when they heard the warnings of Noah. They didn’t want the truth; they didn’t want God. Satisfying every lust of the flesh was their goal, doing what they pleased. What they pleased did not please God. They found the devil’s thinking appealed to their flesh. The idea of being clean, holy, without sin was repulsive to them.
Many today, even church members, don’t want to hear about holiness either. Following teachers that tickle their ears rather than touch their hearts, they reject words that would change their lives. Many seek a philosophy in harmony with the way of the world. Rejecting the Word allows them to live the life they want, for it’s the Word that condemns their actions. The Word strips bare the lies they love. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).
Why Does God Allow Wickedness?
Why does God act the way He does? Why doesn’t He work faster? Why can’t God move in greater ways for the nations? He can only move as He can get man to move. Patiently He waits for the harvest to be brought in.
Understand His patience. Why does He allow the wicked to live with the good? In Matthew 13:29,30 Jesus tells us the parable of the destructive tares and the good wheat: Lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. God waits patiently so that good men will not be destroyed with the wicked.
God has made His patience, His knowledge available to you; but when you pass them by, casting them aside as you would garbage, you insult the Spirit of God, grieve the Holy Spirit. God is working hard on Earth, preparing the Bride for the second coming of Jesus. God wants to draw people unto Him, but He must battle the power that man yielded to in the Garden of Eden. The same devilish spirit, the same power that caused the fall of Adam and Eve is pulling people away from the goodness of God, from the tree of life, from the knowledge and the greatness of God.
The Devil’s Civilization
God has had much difficulty working with people outside Eden. Man has tied God’s hands in a great way through unbelief and sin; and when He wasn’t free to move, it caused man to doubt God’s greatness, His authority, His existence. Rather than people rightfully being blamed for blocking God’s will, God has been blamed when things go wrong. God cannot intervene unless man chooses Him over sin and disobedience. The devil has been able to lay traps for the human race because of the way they have handicapped God through their disobedience to Him. Study God. Many don’t understand why God allows the tragedies in the world. This is not God’s civilization; God is not in charge. Man took it over in partnership with the devil. Sickness, disease, sorrow and death are the devil’s doings, not God’s. God is the Healer and Deliverer for all who turn to Him nothing doubting.
You don’t have to yield to the evil spirit of unbelief; there’s overcoming power in the blood of Jesus, in the name of the Lamb. Speak the name of Jesus in all faith believing and devils flee. Speak the name of Jesus and the sick are healed. Speak the name of Jesus and power from Heaven flows here on Earth on your behalf for you to use. The greatness of Heaven is upon planet Earth today, available to whosoever will. You have a direct contact…Jesus…with the Throne of God to receive whatever you need.
Know who you are; know the hour in which you live. Understand why God can’t move any faster in finishing His work. He waits patiently because He has too much love for mankind to wait any other way; too much is at stake. He waits in love, in kindness. His Spirit keeps working, drawing…and yet such a few will yield, such a few.
No Excuse for Sin
The Bible cries out: The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:20). Just one sin caused Adam and Eve to lose everything of value. Just one sin in your heart will cause you to lose your salvation and be damned. No sin will be allowed through the gate to Heaven.
Jesus is the gate, the door to Heaven. Without Him in your heart, you will not get in. There has been no excuse for sin since Jesus came bringing life, giving His blood that would cleanse people from all sin who would accept Him. Why should Jesus die, shed His divine blood to make sinners holy if it were impossible for them to stay out of sin? The devil is deceiving. Why does God work the way He works today? Because He is limited to working through human beings.
There is no excuse for unholy living, for weakness, no excuse for sin because Jesus paid its penalty. God wouldn’t allow sin in the Garden of Eden, and He won’t allow it in Heaven, the second Eden. Jesus didn’t die for the first Eden but to make the way for all who believe on Him to enter the second. Be sure that God will be very careful to protect from any sin the Eden His Son died for. There was no door back into the first Eden, only judgment for those who tried to return. The Son of Man died to make a door back into Heaven’s Eden for the human race; He made it in the form of a cross. Down through these thousands of years, most members of the human race have not desired that door. They haven’t wanted to clean up from the filth of the world and lose fellowship with Lucifer. He satisfies their flesh, directs their ungodly thoughts and fulfills them. Continually Lucifer hands out evil, evil, and people enjoy, enjoy.
The Human Race Has Put God in Bondage
Man has limited God, put Him in bondage to the human race. What bondage caused God to send His only Son to the cross! What bondage to have given the Brightest Jewel of Heaven to be a slave and then murdered! Even after Jesus came forth from the dead, after the Resurrection, men still didn’t want Him! People feel they can treat God any way they choose and it won’t matter. What makes them think that way?—the fact that evil men have seemed to get away with their deeds without facing the consequences. The consequences of hell are hidden from them.
When you really have God’s love, when your heart is filled with it until there is no room for anything else, you understand why God works the way He does. You feel as He feels, love as He loves. You think with His love, His peace, His obedience. You have become His servant to no longer bind Him or tie His hands. The truly obedient do not limit God. Liberated in their lives, God can move as He desires.
Through His Son Jesus, God had found a people who would yield: those in the Early Church. Now for the closing hour of the Church, God must have a people yielded just as much, yielded so that God will no longer be in bondage. God must move with liberty. The whole world is holding God in bondage. They won’t let Him move, work. They won’t listen when He speaks or do the things He wants them to do. It’s bondage. The world refuses to walk the way the Lord prepared for them. What price Heaven paid to make the love road, what price! God gave His whole heart to make that road, and such a few are willing to walk it. Those few walking that road, the ones who will take His Gospel to the ends of the earth with signs, wonders, miracles and healings will be the ones who will bring back the King. Chosen of God, they are holy, yielded to Him. You put your God in bondage when you fail to walk the daily paths He wills you to walk, when you fail to obey Him.
God, a Slave?
God is a slave to the human race. The great God Almighty, the great God who made man and the universe…a slave. Then when wicked men spit upon His Son Jesus, beat Him, they treated Him worse than a slave. What a tragic position man has placed not only himself in, but his God! God gave man free will, and man has used it against his God in unbelief and disobedience. What is man that God is so mindful of him? What is man that God would become man’s slave? To protect the human race, to guard them, God became a slave, to feed them, to care for them, to clothe them. We are completely helpless without God. The workings of the universe would not function without God’s control. Without Him would be no air to breathe. The world does not give the Lord credit for what He does; it doesn’t honor Him or praise Him for His loving care…He’s a slave. Ungrateful men give no honor to a God who causes the sun to rise and set, the world to spin in its orbit. He gives light, rain, warmth, food with no thanks in return…He’s a slave.
But one day God, taking His rightful place, will be a slave no longer. Man will have chosen right or wrong for the last time. God isn’t waiting for the devil, He is waiting for man. God has given man dominion over the earth, but that dominion soon will be taken out of his hands. He has given man the chance to run his course and then the cut off; the Lord takes over, and what a difference it will make.
Lucifer’s Judgment
To give you some understanding of the power of God when He takes over, study the Bible’s description of Lucifer’s imprisonment in the bottomless pit: And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up (Revelation 20:1-3). Only one angel will do it. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners (Isaiah 14:12,15-17)?
Lucifer won’t look threatening in that bottomless pit; he will be mocked, considered to be nothing. For a thousand years the Lord will take over the earth, allowing no sin. It will be a holy society, a holy civilization. The Bible says the Lord will not send rain on the crops of those refusing to bow to the Lord in this period of time. Bowing down, lip service won’t save them, it just will keep the rain coming. Miserable, the unsaved on Earth won’t want to live or walk like Jesus, and they won’t be able to do what they want…sin. After a thousand years the devil will be loosed a little season and then cast into the lake of fire and brimstone…and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever (Revelation 20:10). The lake of fire is the final destiny of Satan.
Those Who Love Jesus Keep His Commandments
In Romans 8:28 we read, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Who are those who love God? Jesus tells us who they are: He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me (John 14:21). If ye love me, keep my commandments (John 14:15). If you love Jesus, you live holy, stay free from all sin. The Lord had a purpose for every life that came upon the earth, but how many have ever fulfilled that purpose? How many have taken God’s plan for their lives? How many are walking, talking, loving, believing and pleasing the Father the way Jesus did when He was here on Earth? Very few. The Jesus plan is the plan for humanity today. People are saying it can’t be done, and so they are not even attempting to fulfill God’s purpose. Walking their own paths to destruction, ministers preach sermons that light the way to hell for their congregations.
How incredible that ministers will stand in the sacred pulpit of God and denounce the blood of Jesus! Saying man cannot live free from sin is doing just that, denouncing the all-conquering blood of Jesus, the remedy for sin; it’s trampling the blood of Jesus underfoot as though it were something unclean. God is displeased. God is saying, “Not so!” Let God be true, but every man a liar (Romans 3:4). It’s holiness or hell. Not one particle of sin is in the holiness of God.
Why did Jesus separate Himself from the Pharisees, the Sadducees, the hypocrites? Because they had sin. Oh they were religious…the devil’s religious…but Jesus saw their hearts. The devil is the most religious being you could ever meet, pious. That’s the reason he has deceived so many people. Instead of being holy, people are religious like he is. They’re influenced with the spirit of religion, not the Spirit of righteousness and holiness. Strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it (Matthew 7:14). Sinners cannot enter that strait gate. If God didn’t let Adam and Eve by with one sin, He won’t let anyone by. The only way into Heaven is to be cleansed by the blood of the Lamb, to live holy and walk with the Lord all the way.
God Moves on Behalf of the Bride
The Bride of Christ are His Holy Spirit-filled believers who will be taken from the earth with Jesus at His second coming. The Bride has chosen the holiness and the things of God over the world, and God can work wonders on her behalf. In this final hour she will walk yielded to her Groom Jesus one hundred percent, wearing a veil of consecration. All the raging of the devil will not be able to destroy her. The Bride of Christ in this final hour will know great victory in Jesus because she is dedicated, the clay yielded one hundred percent at all times in the Master’s hands.
For the Bride, there is no turning back, no compromise with the world, no disobedience or haughtiness. She walks in His humility, in His love and faith. She walks with His peace in her heart. She talks to Him, and He talks to her; and then one day she will hear the cry: Behold, the bridegroom cometh! Go ye out to meet Him! Not one member of the bridal company will be stubborn and refuse to move when that cry comes. The Lord will have complete control over her, and she will be taken to Heaven alive.
Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners (Song of Solomon 6:10)? She is the Bride of Christ. Her mind is clear; she is wonderful to behold. Catch a glimpse of her in type and shadow again and again throughout the Old Testament. See her persecuted, tried, tested but never forsaken by God.
The Lord demonstrated how He could work on behalf of yielded clay when He translated a man called Enoch. Enoch, a type of the Bride, was so yielded that God walked with him just like He walked with Adam and Eve before the fall. Outside of Eden a walk with God is possible; many biblical saints of God have proved it. Enoch pleased God in such a way that the Lord took him to Heaven alive. And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him (Genesis 5:24). By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God (Hebrews 11:5).
Elijah yielded to God to the extent that the Lord used him the way He would use His own hands in performng miracles. Before the Israelite people, the Lord did His mighty work through Elijah, even raining down fire from heaven. And Elijah, a type of the Bride, was taken to Heaven in a chariot of fire by a whirlwind.
Daniel, a type of the Bride, in the den of lions knew he was not forsaken even though it looked that way to others. He came out with the message of deliverance: My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me (Daniel 6:22). The Bride will be in the lions’ den unharmed.
The three Hebrew boys facing the fiery furnace placed complete confidence in God: Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up (Daniel 3:17,18). Knowing they had life through the Lord, they would walk His path in death or life. It mattered not. The Lord came down, the Fourth Man into that fiery furnace, and the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them (Daniel 3:27). The fiery furnace will not even leave the smell of smoke upon the Bride, for because of her obedience, the Fourth Man Jesus will be in there to bring deliverance.
God Works Only with Faith
In this our final hour we must know our God. Know why He cannot do more than He is doing at this time. He is handicapped by man. He cannot work with unbelief, doubt or fear. God works with His faith, His love, and He furnishes us all of His faith and love to use through His Only Begotten Son Jesus. We’re complete in Him; we have everything needed. The trouble comes when we won’t keep self under subjection the way we should and thus fail to use what God has made available. We trust the flesh, the natural man instead of trusting God. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:5,6).
Instead of trusting the Lord, many are trying to carve out their own way in the wilderness, ignoring the highway of holiness. It’s a high road of God’s holiness and righteousness; so far above man that only divinity can plant your feet on that road. Only divinity can lift you up that high. No devil, no unclean thing can reach that road. It is protected by the blood of the Lamb. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:4-6).
Know God’s great plan. Know why He doesn’t move more; know it isn’t because of a lack of love, but because man has put Him in bondage. He cares. He is with us. Our obedience and faith before Him can break His bondage in our lives. We know He is doing everything He can; His promises are true. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (II Peter 3:9). God keeps His Word; He has never failed us, and we know He won’t fail us now.
Walk ever onward, pressing toward the prize of the high calling of God. Our goal, all that really matters is to please Him. It seems so foolish to try to please self, the flesh; for the flesh is never satisfied. At the close of each day, you must know that you have pleased your Lord, that you have not put Him into bondage but given Him liberty, liberty. You have walked and lived in His Son Jesus, in His Spirit. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (II Corinthians 3:17). No bondage, only liberty in the Spirit of the Lord for the obedient. When a child of His lives and walks in His Spirit, He has liberty and that child has liberty.
All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). If things are not working the way they should in your life, seek understanding from God. Walk in His purpose, with His plan, casting aside everything that would divert you from that plan. Make every step with Jesus, every step honest, upright, holy, blameless, sober, sincere, without corruption, a godly step. Be holy in this present world as you abide in the Word of God.
With His Favor Comes Understanding
When you have His favor, you have all the understanding needed. Of course, you won’t understand everything…there are some things not necessary for you to understand. But everything you need to understand, you will if you walk in His chosen paths, everything necessary to your well-being to fulfill the purpose of God.
Yield to His faith; yield to His love. Don’t put Him in bondage. Let the clay be yielded to His divine will in all ways in your life.
Thus Saith the Lord
Thus saith the Lord: I have not said hard things to you, and I have not given you things that are hard to understand. I have given you words of love and wisdom and knowledge to understand your God. The enemy is battling the minds of my people. The enemy is making battlegrounds out of the minds of my people, and I cannot warn my people too much of the battles of the mind for them in this final hour. The devil is battling the minds of my holy children night and day.
I am giving you understanding so that you can stand up against Lucifer; and you can defy him by speaking my words of power, my words of life, my words of strength. You can use the blood that conquers all. Oh my people, do not be troubled in this hour; but be free in the liberty of my love, my faith, my Spirit. Be victorious.
Do not be cast down, but stand tall for me; and I will deliver all things into your hands that are needed to defeat the enemy. You do not have to fear him; you do not have to be afraid. You do not have to be afraid of sinning against your God. All you have to do is live in my love, and you will be obedient to all of my truth, and you will live free from sin. My love will abide in you. I will work with you. I will protect you. I will clothe you in my righteousness, in my holiness. I will clothe you in my truth; the powers of Lucifer will not be able to penetrate my truth. Do not be disturbed when Lucifer comes against you. Go to my Word and get understanding. I told you of this hour, and I told you how the powers of darkness would work. I told you how the Antichrist would cover the face of the earth with the powers of darkness; and I told you that I would bring my people out of great tribulation, with great power, with great strength.
Behold the arm of your Lord. Behold the mighty arm of your Lord, and shout victory through the blood of Jesus! I will be with you; I will be your shield. I will be your greatness, and you will not be defeated.
Do not say, “I am weak”; say, “I am strong in my Lord. I am strong in His grace. I am strong in the might of His Spirit, and His love has found a dwelling place in me. His holy power has found a dwelling place in me. His Holy Spirit lives in me.” And you will have my power in this final hour. Do not be afraid, and do not be contaminated with sin. You must not be contaminated with any sin. My people are a holy people, a holy people, my people, my people, saith the Lord.
