The Bible tells us of three appearances of Christ. In the first appearance, He came as the Babe of Bethlehem. In the second appearance yet to take place, the Bible teaches that Jesus will not come all the way to the earth. In midair the Bride will be caught up to meet Him: the Rapture. Some people say the word Rapture is not in the Bible, but to be caught up or caught away means the same thing. Then seven years later at the third coming, Jesus will fight the Battle of Armageddon, bringing to a close the Tribulation Period, defeating the Antichrist, the Antispirit, the devil himself and all his followers.

Rapture-conscious, running after the Lord, not after the world, you must be everything He desires you to be. Jesus is coming after a people who are without spot, wrinkle, blemish or any such thing. How can you be that pure? By yielding to the Spirit of deliverance, knowing without a shadow of a doubt that you won’t make the Rapture unless you get rid of the spots, the wrinkles and the blemishes. Get rid of them now; when the Rapture takes place it will be too late.

No Longer in Types and Shadows

In type and shadow in the Song of Solomon, Jesus is looking on the Bride with eyes of love and saying, Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee (Song of Solomon 4:7). Every time you find the Bride in the Old Testament’s types and shadows, how gracious, how wonderful, how powerful she is! Today she’s no longer in types and shadows; today she’s the Bride of Christ in all living reality.

Many, many people make up the bridal company. Are you a member of the bridal company, a part of the Bride of Christ? If you’re not, you definitely can be, but there are preparations to be made.

Doubting the Rapture Is Doubting God’s Word

Some ministers are deceived, putting out books denying the Rapture. But why listen to them, why give attention to the devil? The Bible tells us to listen to what the Spirit is saying. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith (Revelation 2:7). The Lord gives you ears to hear when you are saved, spiritual ears to hear what the Lord is saying, to hear from the Lord through His Word. He gives you ears so the Spirit can direct you, but you have to listen.

The Bible is clear about the Second Coming. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him (I Thessalonians 4:14). Notice: if we believe. To be a Jesus believer, you believe Him to be the Son of God, the Only Begotten. You believe in His salvation, His sanctification, His divine blood. You believe in all His wonderful works and promises; you believe the whole Will, the whole New Covenant, the New Testament; you believe it all. To believe in Him is to believe He was crucified, He died, and He rose again; death could not hold Him.

Jesus Has Power over Death

Death is called sleep in the Bible. Why? Because Jesus conquered death. When Jairus’ daughter died, Jesus said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead (Luke 8:52,53). The mourners laughed, mocked; they knew that the girl was dead. But what they didn’t know was that Jesus has power over death; He stood there looking on death as sleep. And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise. An her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat (Luke 8:54,55).

The Lord with that great power can wake one up from death as easily as a tender mother wakes a child from sleep. Isn’t that marvelous indeed! That shows the greatness of the Lord.

The soul either goes to Heaven or it goes to hell when it leaves the body. The body sleeps, not the soul. There isn’t such a thing as soul-sleep. The soul cannot sleep; it’s always awake. The body sleeps in death; the part that sleeps goes back to the earth. But the part that never sleeps, the soul, if it’s ready to go back to its Maker, it goes; if it isn’t, it is cast into hell.

Jesus spoke of Heaven and the torment of hell: And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom (Luke 16:22,23).

The rich man in hell still had his senses, still remembered his five brothers. He wanted to send Lazarus to warn them, but Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them (Luke 16:29).

A Glorified Body

First Thessalonians 4:15, For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. We will not prevent the righteous dead from being resurrected first. Jesus described them as sleeping, but it’s the body of your loved one that is sleeping, not the soul. The soul, the real person whose traits and characteristics you knew and loved, Jesus will bring with Him when He comes the second time. The soul and body will be reunited in a new body, a glorified body.

After He was crucified, the physical body of Jesus was resurrected, but it had to be glorified. Remember, when Jesus walked out of the tomb He told Mary, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God (John 20:17). Jesus ascended into Heaven, and when He descended back to Earth, He told the disciples to touch Him. Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have (Luke 24:39). Jesus came back from Heaven in a glorified body. In that glorified body, He was able to walk through closed doors. One day we, too, will have glorified bodies if we stay true to Him.

Jesus Is Coming Himself

The Lord is coming after us. He’s not going to send angels; He’s coming Himself: That’s how much the Rapture means to the Lord. How much does it mean to you? Does it mean enough that you’re going to believe it, live like you believe it and qualify for the Rapture? The Promise of the Rapture is for you, but you have to qualify for that promise to be fulfilled: Receive salvation, then the Holy Ghost baptism, and put God first in all you do. There are qualifications to be met for every promise of God.

I Thessalonians 4:16, For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. That trumpet will be a glorious sound to the ears of all God’s obedient children on planet Earth. Dead bodies will be brought forth from the grave at the sound of the trumpet. What a joyful time it will be when the soul is reunited with the body, a glorified body, a beautiful body! That glorified body will never age, never feel a pain; it will be a heavenly body. A body like the angels have is the glorified body. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (I Thessalonians 4:17).

Changed According to the Power Within

In the power that will change us in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye we’re going to meet the Lord in the air, not on the ground. The change will come according to the power that worketh in us (Ephesians 3:20), the power of the Holy Ghost.

Jesus received the Holy Ghost. John the Baptist saw the Holy Ghost descend upon Him in the form of a dove. And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost (John 1:32,33). Jesus did not start His ministry until He was baptized in the Holy Ghost and with fire; He is our example.

I Thessalonians 4:17,18, Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. How are we to be comforted with this? With the truth. The Lord never gave an untruth for comfort; the Holy Ghost is our comforter, the Spirit of truth. Jesus said, And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you (John 14:16,17).

Paul writing to the church at Corinth said this: Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 15:51-57).

Look for the Blessed Hope

Two angels told the disciples, who had just watched Jesus ascend into Heaven, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven (Acts 1:11). This same Jesus will come again in like manner. How did He go? On a cloud. When He comes, and He’s coming back on a cloud, we’re going to be caught up to meet Him there.

Titus 2:13, Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. The blessed hope is the Rapture, and Lord wants it to be real to you; it’s a must.

The Bible declares that Jesus is coming after those who are watching for Him. For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch (Mark 13:34-37). Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them (Luke 12:37).

If you’re not watching for Jesus to come, you’re not going to be ready. If you don’t believe He’s coming in our day, then I write you off; for unless you change, He isn’t coming for you, isn’t coming for people who are not looking for Him.

Like the Days of Noah

Matthew 24:37-39, But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. In the days of Noah, destruction came on the people suddenly; they weren’t looking for it, weren’t preparing for a way of escape. They were told the flood was coming; the signs were there. Day by day the ark was being built; the days turned into years, over a hundred twenty of them. Many today are not ready, not looking for the Rapture, not expecting the Tribulation to come just as the people in Noah’s day didn’t expect the flood.

People say they’ve heard the endtime warnings for years and nothing has happened. Why should they be alarmed? They look on the warnings as old wives’ tales not to be taken seriously. The Bible talks of these people: There shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation (II Peter 3:3,4). Ever since man left Eden the world has continued the same, and it’s going to continue the same—that’s what scoffers do with the Word of God.

The Lord tells us more about the Rapture: Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh (Matthew 24:40-44).

Perilous Times Are Here

Second Timothy 3:1-5, This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. Perilous times are here. Many people didn’t think those perilous times would affect America, and then came a wakeup call. Just as unexpected tragedy descended on America, the Great Tribulation Period will descend on America without many expecting it, I’m afraid. People won’t listen.

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power. People gather in churches all over the world today, but many dead men and women are in the pulpits. When a dead man or dead woman is in the pulpit, there a dead people in the pews, skeletons in the pews, and what a mess it is! Some churches are drier than Ezekiel’s bone yard. God had some hope for those bones in Ezekiel’s vision; but for a lot of people today, God has no hope any longer. They have crossed the line; they are without feeling. Their conscience is seared. The Lord said that would happen in the latter days, and it’s happening to people now.

Today danger is everywhere. Some of you are afraid to fly. Don’t you know God is “upstairs” as well as “downstairs”? Don’t you know that God is everywhere, that you have to trust Him wherever you are? He is Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us (Matthew 1:23). When you sit down on that plane do you say, I’ve got faith in God; Lord, I know you’re going to take care of me—but what am I going to do, what am I going to do? You don’t really believe God is going to take care of you; you’re about to have a nervous breakdown instead of being full of faith.

Many want to use the name of Jesus, but not to live like Him, act like Him, preach like Him or believe like Him. The world church has made their own Jesus, stripped Him of His glory—Jesus, the sinless Christ, the Christ of divinity, the Christ who brought divine blood so we can have divine blood in our souls and be free from all sin. There are more people in the world church today than you’ll find in the Jesus Church.

The Bible tells us that sin no longer has dominion over us; it has no power over us. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace (Romans 6:14). When you’re saved, all sin has to go from your heart. You don’t get halfway saved, as I heard a man say he did. God doesn’t accept a half-saved life; you’re either saved or unsaved, holy or unholy, righteous or unrighteous. Jesus said there were just two roads, one to hell and one to Heaven. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it (Matthew 7:13,14).

Where Is Your Faith?

God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). Where is your faith? If Jesus were to speak to some of you today, He would ask, Where is your faith? I gave it to you: Now where is it? I gave you faith as a gift; did you hide it somewhere? Did you bury it? Did you throw it in the river? What did you do with it? Where is that faith?

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly [definitely so, emphatically so], that in the latter times [our day] some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron (I Timothy 4:1,2). Many people have let the devil seduce them, take them away from the truth. They’re separated from truth and think they’re all right. False becomes truth, and truth becomes false when one is seduced. The Bible says in the last days that evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived (II Timothy 3:13). People seduce others and themselves as well; they have given over to the devil.

Do You Reject Sound Doctrine?

Paul warned Timothy: I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing (II Timothy 4:1-8). Paul wrote some wonderful things in II Timothy 4:1-8. Preach the Word, Timothy. The time will come they won’t endure it, but give it to them anyway.

So many people don’t want sound doctrine today; rather, they seek a happy-go-lucky lifestyle. They don’t want to hear judgments preached. How many ministers preach about a literal, burning hell today? Some of the leading evangelists don’t believe there is fire in hell. I heard one well-known evangelist actually say that hell was just a state of mind. He had gotten in with the theologians and they changed him. A reporter said he once preached hellfire and brimstone, but he doesn’t any longer. He preaches that hell is a state of mind, that hell is being away from God, not being able to be with Him.

Hell isn’t a state of mind; hell is a state of eternal damnation in a lake of fire. When you’re a sinner, you’re not wanting to be with God; being away from God is not hell for you. Oh, you may want Him if you think you’re dying, but other than that, you want your own way, not His. His ways are not the ways of a sinner.

Be aware of this hour. Don’t dabble in every new theory that comes along; don’t even listen to it just to see what you can pick up. You’re supposed to have holy ears. Are you ready for things to go into them that are unholy, unrighteous and ungodly? If I offered you a pie and told you there was just a little poison in one part of it, would you be foolish enough to eat it? There’s just a little bit of poison over here somewhere—I can’t tell you exactly where it is—but go ahead and eat it; just ask the Lord to direct you so you’ll eat from the part that doesn’t have any poison. I think you’d throw out the whole pie.

If a person puts out a little bit of poison, a little bit of false doctrine, it’s dangerous. You can’t afford to listen to it at all; for if you do, it may cause you to miss the Rapture. Listen to God and throw out the ideas and opinions that don’t agree with His Word.

Signs for the Rapture Generation

Matthew 24:34, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Some people are confused about this verse. Jesus wasn’t talking about the generation that was on Earth in His time. When He said this generation shall not pass, He was talking about the generation that would be on planet Earth when events that He described in Matthew 24 come to pass. Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors, Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only (Matthew 24:32-36).

Jesus was saying that a whole generation would not die, would not pass until the endtime signs leading to the Rapture were fulfilled.

The fig tree represents the Jewish people. In 1948 that fig tree put forth leaves as the State of Israel was set up. There are two great signs that we are the Rapture generation. First, Israel’s gathering back to the Holy Land and becoming a state. Although in times past Jews had trickled into the Holy Land, a number of them in 1921, they were not an official state until 1948.

Second, our great sign, the mighty sign to the Gentiles, is the pouring-out of the Spirit. The Lord said in the last days He would pour it out. And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy (Acts 2:17,18).

God Is Pouring Out His Spirit in This Hour

I’ve been preaching over sixty years; when I started preaching, it was hard to get people through to the Holy Ghost; many times people would work with those seeking the baptism until a morning hour to get one through. I read in the Word of God that about 120 got the Holy Ghost at one time on the Day of Pentecost, but I never dreamed in my ministry that many, many times that number would receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost in one service. Twenty to twenty-five people receiving the Holy Ghost in a revival was great news among Pentecostal preachers. It was unusual for many at one time to really get the old-time Holy Ghost. I don’t mean talking in tongues at will, I mean the real Holy Ghost. If forty or fifty got the Holy Ghost, it was called a landslide. But now we see thousands and thousands receive the Holy Ghost in moments of time in the overseas crusades.

Over sixty thousand received the Holy Ghost in one service. Two or three times before I got to the crusade grounds that night, the Lord gave me the number of how many He would baptize with the Holy Ghost. It shows the greatness and the power of God. I walked the platform up and down saying, This is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel (Acts 2:16). In the last days, saith the Lord, I will pour it out.

The Fragrance of the Lord

Collect all of the fragrance of Jesus in your spirit, in your life; that fragrance is yours. Open the alabaster box and savor the whole fragrance of Jesus. You won’t have the whole fragrance of His love and grace to pour out to the people unless you yourself are the box to collect it. The nine fruits of the Spirit have a wonderful fragrance. I love to call them the nine graces of the Spirit. Think of the wonderful fragrance of that divine love, divine peace, divine hope, divine goodness, divine longsuffering, divine everything. The fruit of the Spirit is greater than the fruit in Eden. It wasn’t divine fruit they had in Eden, it was Earth’s fruit; it came from the earth, from the trees. But this fruit of the Spirit is produced on the inside of us by the Holy Ghost, and He keeps up the production if you yield to Him. He keeps producing the fruit of love, the fruit of faith, the fruit of goodness, the fruit of longsuffering—and what a fragrance they make! People love a good fragrance, and they can’t help but take in that good fragrance from your life. They notice you, see all that fruit, and they want to investigate. They want to know why you are like you are.

It’s time for people to ask you about Jesus. They want an introduction. They’re sincere in wanting to know about your Christ. They want to know what makes you happy.

The fruit of joy is produced on the inside of you. The joy of the LORD is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). How sad if you do not use that fruit. That fruit is to be used to give you joy unspeakable and full of glory (I Peter 1:8). You’re not supposed to be depressed and oppressed. Oppression is not for the children of God; it will hinder you. Get rid of it today, saith the Lord. Get rid of that depression. God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him (Acts 10:38).

Get Rid of the Spots and Wrinkles

What about the spots and wrinkles, what about the blemishes? Isn’t it time we yield to the Spirit to get rid of even the blemishes, to really get rid of the spots? Wrinkles and spots on our garments, in our personalities, in our characteristics and traits must go. The blood takes the sin out of the soul, but you have to work on the spots, blemishes, and so forth; and you have an example to help you—Jesus.

Learn what your attitudes are. Preacher, I just “blow up” sometimes. Yes, and you’ll be one of those blowing up after the Rapture because you’ll be in the place where you can blow up, right here on planet Earth. You can still blow up on Earth, but in Heaven there will be no blow-ups, thank God. If you walk up to me and say, I’m so angry I’m just going to tell someone what I think, I’ll know I’m not in Heaven, and I’ll know you’re not there, either. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath (Ephesians 4:26).

Have you ever been angry with God? I fell in love with God a long time ago and I’ve never been angry with Him, never been angry with Jesus Christ, and never been angry with the Holy Spirit. I love them with all of my heart.

It’s Time to Move

It’s time for us to move. Lot, it’s go-out time. And [God] turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) (II Peter 2:6-8). Lot’s righteous soul was vexed with what was going on around him. His wife endorsed it; she loved what was there. Lot was the one who gave the last call to his sons-in-law and daughters. The angel had to drag out his wife, and that’s the only reason she got out. Unfortunately, the angel couldn’t drag her all the way to safety; she looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt.

The angel can help you, but he’s not going to drag you to Heaven; you can depend on that, and he’s not going to take you up in the Rapture either. He doesn’t have that power to do so; he’s not on a mission to take you out. He’s here to bless you, stand by you, minister to you, and help you get ready to be taken out. You have to be ready.

The Lord is saying, My people must have the reality of the Rapture to do what I want them to do, to walk with me like I want them to walk, to be what I want them to be. To be a part of me, a part of my mind, a part of my thoughts, the Rapture has to be real.

The Rapture isn’t something to be afraid of. The Lord said men’s hearts would fail them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth (Luke 21:26). Their hearts won’t fail looking for the Rapture, but in looking at those things coming upon the earth.

Be Prepared for the Greatness of God

Preacher, the Rapture scares me. It’s because you won’t let it become real. You’re thinking of someone snatching you away. Has the power of God ever made you feel like flying, like your feet were leaving the ground? The power of God can get into your toes, feet, ankles, up your legs and into your hips, then into your whole body, into your arms and head, and you feel so good. That’s the power of the Holy Ghost, the greatness of His power, so much power that it will change the Bride of Christ in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, will catch her up to be with the Lord. Do you think the Lord can’t change your body? If so, consider where you are in the Lord. If you have the baptism of the Spirit, be prepared for something great to happen because of that power working in you, that power that will change you so quickly.

Years ago, the Lord carried me away in a vision. Where, I don’t know, but it seemed to be on a high mountain, and the Lord and I were walking across. I saw the greatness of God on that highway or wherever I was. I watched as He put eyes into empty eye sockets, as deformed limbs became like melted wax and were made whole. He was showing me what He would be doing in this last and final hour. Holy Lord God Almighty!

But since God is moving so mightily in the crusades, I’ve decided it must have been the highway to the nations that we were on because that’s where we are now. The power is falling, and the unbelievable is taking place. When no one can find the cure for AIDS, God has told me how to use His blood to heal the people of AIDS, so that He can deliver them, set them free.

It’s just as simple for people to be healed of AIDS as it is for them to be healed of a slight headache. Many go back to their doctors and the doctors are amazed at the change that has taken place through the blood power of God. God’s miracles are opening doors throughout the world to this Jesus ministry. It was the power of God, the power of the Holy Ghost working through Christ that pointed people to Him as the Savior, that made Him the real Savior, the real Christ, the real Redeemer. The disciples didn’t have clear understanding of Him until they got the Holy Ghost, the teacher.

If you don’t have the Holy Ghost, it’s past time that you receive Him. The Lord has told me more than one time that those who are living when Jesus comes will have to have the Holy Ghost baptism to make the Rapture. It takes more power to go to Heaven in the air than it takes to go by way of the grave. It took more for Elijah and Enoch to get out of here alive; they went beyond.

The Mantle of Power

It was prophesied that John the Baptist, full of the Holy Ghost, would go forth as the forerunner of the first appearance of Christ. The angel said unto him [the father of John], Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb. And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord (Luke 1:13-17).

John the Baptist went forth in the spirit of Elijah; the spirit of Elijah was the Holy Ghost Spirit, the Holy Ghost miracles, and the Holy Ghost gifts; Elijah had them all. He had the mantle of power.

When we receive the Holy Ghost, we receive that same mantle of power; it is ours to use. What are we going to do with it? Are we afraid to use it, afraid to strike the waters as Elisha did? No. We have the Jesus mantle and we will strike the waters and cross over to help people, get to people who couldn’t be reached any other way. We will tell them about this wonderful Christ, and they will see His manifestations.

For God to be real to them, people must see Him in action. If they don’t believe the Bible in the first place, they have nothing else to go by. But when they see the miracles, see their own being healed, they’ll believe.

The Word of God Is Paramount

Why should we be afraid? Why should we back down? All the power of Heaven, all the greatness of God is for us. Our God lives, and He’s ready to move, ready to do great and mighty wonders, ready to help us. He’s ready to use you, but your heart must be connected with the heart of God. Take on the thoughts of God and get rid of your opinions. I had to get rid of my opinions and take the opinions of God. When I have an opinion, I won’t use it until I take it to the Word. If it doesn’t stand the Word test, I throw it out. Everything has to be in agreement with the Word, the Word, the Word. The Word is paramount. Heaven and Earth will pass away, but the Word will never pass away; the Word will endure forever. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matthew 24:35).

You need the Holy Ghost for the Word to really live and move in you. The Word has to be acted out, that’s faith. What God says, you act on. God said it and you do it. If God tells you to do something, you can do it no matter what it is. And when He tells you that a believer will lay hands on you and He will get you well, all you have to do is accept that, believe that, and go on your way to get well. These signs shall follow them that believe…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18). That’s the way it happens, that’s the way it works.

Know the Season

Oh, neighbor, look at Elijah. He knew he was going to be raptured; he knew the Rapture was going to take place for him, and Elisha knew it, too. Some even said to Elisha, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace (II Kings 2:3).

If Elijah knew the Rapture was going to take place for him, certainly we can know it’s going to take place for us. In this hour we have the evidence, the call from Heaven; we have all the signs. The Lord through the Holy Ghost is holding the signs up higher than ever for us. Look at the judgment signs and look at the good signs: They all are saying, Your Lord cometh. Jesus said, This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come (Matthew 24:14).

It’s time for us to move faster than we’ve ever moved through the Spirit. Elijah had been moving, but when the Spirit of God came upon him, he outran the chariot of Ahab. And he [Elijah] said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down that the rain stop thee not. And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel (I Kings 18:44-46). For a distance of about ten miles in a great rainstorm, Elijah outran Ahab’s chariot. God gave Elijah supernatural strength.

Today the rain of the Holy Spirit is pouring down like never before, and we’re racing forward with the good news: We must tell the world about this, tell the nations we’re blessed. Let them know we have been with Jesus; we must act like Him, talk like Him, work like Him.

Complete the Mission

This is your hour; this is your day. The God of miracles lives and the Lord is getting us ready to take our flight. But He’s also getting us ready to fulfill the mission; we have a great mission to complete. The Lord told me years ago just before I came to Akron, Ohio that He was sending me on a divine mission. I didn’t know there would be more than just two of us, my wife, Angel, and myself. I didn’t know about all the people God was going to raise up to help take this Gospel to the world. Later He told me He would bring people from the East, the West, the North and the South. It’s been a great gathering time; and He’s still bringing in people, selecting people He can depend on, people who will endure, people who will love Him all the time, not part-time, but all the time.

This is your hour of grace and your hour to use grace; it’s from grace to grace, from love to love, from peace to peace, and from joy to joy. Your attitude must be like Jesus’ attitude. Go to the greatest sermon that has ever been preached, the Sermon on the Mount, and find the attitude of Jesus there. Check yourself and see if you have that attitude. If you don’t, you have the wrong one.

Are you Rapture material today? Do you have the fire of the Holy Ghost burning in your life? You need the fire of God burning on the altar of your soul and the testimony of the Holy Ghost saying: Father, this one is ready. Oh, praise God for His approval!

The Holy Spirit Knows What the Lord Wants

King Ahasuerus gathered all the fair young maidens of the land to his palace to choose one to be his queen. It came time for Esther to go in before the king. What did she do? She let the servant dress her, prepare her for the king. Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king’s chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her. And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti (Esther 2:15,17). The servant, Hegai, represents the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament’s types and shadows. Esther realized the servant would know best, would know what the king loved, and she yielded to him.

The Holy Spirit knows just what the Lord loves, knows the way He wants us to be dressed in the holiness and righteousness of Heaven. The Holy Spirit knows all about God, so turn yourself over to Him. Jesus said that when the Holy Ghost came He would be the Spirit of truth. He will teach you, comfort you, lead you into all truth, and He will testify of me.

About every time a person receives the Holy Ghost, the first thing the Holy Spirit will do is glorify Jesus. If you could have the interpretation, you would find out that’s what He was saying. Many times when the Holy Spirit is speaking through you, He is glorifying Jesus. How wonderful that the Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus using our tongues, using our vocal organs!

It’s Time to Move

It’s time to move; the fire of God is falling, and you, the sacrifice, must be ready. Is the sacrifice ready for the Lord to use? Can you cry, Lord, I am ready? Paul said he was ready. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing (II Timothy 4:6-8). Paul was the sacrifice on the chopping block, and many people have been brought to God through his dying almost two thousand years ago. Paul is still winning souls for the Lord.

Thank God for Jesus, I say. Thank God for the old-time power of God. Never be ashamed of Jesus. Stand up tall in the unity of the Spirit; stand up to be delivered of everything unlike God. No matter what has happened to your life in the past, it’s time to let the blood wash it all away.

Just as your hands are real, you must let the Rapture be real. Just as you let other things be reality in your plans for life, you have to include the reality of the Rapture. It’s upon us. Don’t you see the endtime signs?

It’s time to move for the Lord. It’s time to give everything over to Him and to use the faith that God gave to you, the sweetness of Jesus in your voice. It’s time to see with the eyes of the Lord. It’s time to mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace (Psalm 37:37). If you fail God, you will be without excuse. You won’t be able to blame anyone else for your failure but you yourself. You fail because you won’t surrender everything to Jesus Christ, because you won’t give over to the blood of Jesus.

I say again, it’s time to move. Do you think the Lord will take you in the Rapture because you’re living as good as you know how, even though you don’t know why you don’t get the Holy Ghost? Well, there’s a reason or you would have been baptized.

Some of you don’t tarry long enough to get the Holy Ghost. You pray a little bit and it’s over with. Jesus told the disciples to go to Jerusalem and stay there until they got the Holy Ghost. Behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high (Luke 24:49). He said tarry until. If the Lord were to speak to some of you He’d say the same thing: Tarry until you get the Holy Ghost.

I’m liable to be here a week. If you knew you had to stay at the altar a week seeking the Holy Ghost, you’d get down to business, really yield to the Lord and the Holy Ghost. There’s no need to let the devil put you off. Decide that the Holy Ghost is for you, and you’re going to claim the promise. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call (Acts 2:39).

Are you Rapture material? Are you ready to meet Jesus in the air? Are you born of the Spirit of God; have you been made holy through the blood of the Lamb? Are you full of the Holy Ghost?

Stephen was full of the Holy Ghost and power. And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people (Acts 6:8). He was able to give his life for the cause of Christ. For it, wicked men stoned him. He, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God (Acts 7:55). To give your life in service to the Lord, to do whatever He wants of you, no matter, will be more than worth it when you are caught up to be with the Lord.

Don’t you sense the atmosphere has changed, can’t you feel the tug of the Holy Spirit? Can’t you feel the Lord seeking to make you Rapture conscious? He’s doing that; the Holy Spirit is working with your mind to stir you, to get you to realize that Jesus is soon coming. That should make music in your heart if you’re ready; and if you’re not, decide you’re going to get ready.

Every human being can be ready for the Rapture if they start now while there is yet time. Tomorrow may be too late for you; today is the day of salvation. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation (II Corinthians 6:2). Today is as far as the Lord goes. When He talks to us about salvation, it’s always today. You’re not promised a tomorrow. Ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away (James 4:14).

Where art thou? Oh, Elijah, you were not always Rapture material. No, he wasn’t ready for the Rapture at one time. Remember, he’d done a wonderful work for the Lord, but wicked Jezebel was coming after him and he ran. Under the juniper tree he said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life (I Kings 19:4). He thought everyone had kissed the mouth of the devil but him, and he wanted to die. But the Lord told him later, I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him (I Kings 19:18).

Isn’t it wonderful how the Lord will treat you if you will let Him? God sent an angel down to serve Elijah a hot meal. Angels eat, and that angel knew how to cook or the Lord wouldn’t have sent him. The angel then fixed Elijah a second meal. It was such a good meal that Elijah went in the strength of it forty days and nights and climbed a high mountain. The next place we find him is on the mount of God and the Lord is saying, What doest thou here, Elijah (I Kings 19:13)? Elijah told the Lord what was bothering him.

Why don’t you tell the Lord your whole heart and get it out in the open? Why don’t you tell Him all your fears?

Preacher, I’m ashamed to tell Him. Why? He knows about them anyway, so why don’t you just go ahead and tell Him.

The grace of God is abounding for you. We’re in the grace dispensation and thank God we are. That’s the reason we are here today: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8,9). When you come into the favor of God, nothing is too good for you. If you live in love grace, all those promises are yours.

Come to Jesus

John the Revelator is a type of the raptured Bride of Christ. In a vision of the Rapture, John was caught up into Heaven and shown things that will come. John was sin-free and full of the Holy Ghost. To be taken in the Rapture, you must be free from all sin, filled with the Spirit. If you are not right with the Lord, hurry home, or you’ll find yourself in the darkest night ever, the Great Tribulation period. Even today we see the spirit of Antichrist manifested everywhere. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed (II Thessalonians 2:3).

If you haven’t received forgiveness, you can have forgiveness today, saith the Lord. He will forgive you of your sins, wash them all away. Then don’t wade back into them; leave them all behind. If you really want His forgiveness, you won’t go back to sin.

Young people: If you haven’t left everything behind, do it now. At eighteen I left the world behind and I knew I’d never be back, I’d never return. I burned the bridges behind me. Why should I go back? I’d been made brand-new.

Some of you have a lot of trouble because you won’t surrender everything. When you don’t surrender all, look at the hindrances you’re trying to pray through, look at the spirits you’re trying to fight. Rather than stumbling all the time, why not be free? Jesus said, If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed (John 8:36).

If you’re really born of the Spirit of God, you’re blood free. If your soul is not free from all sin, you’re not born of the Spirit of God; face it and get down to business.

You who are lost and undone without the Lord, pray the sinners’ prayer with me: Oh, God, I believe your Word. I know Jesus will soon come. Please, God, I don’t want to be left. Save my soul. Forgive me of all my sins. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in!

If you meant that prayer, He has come. He is yours. Start reading your Bible. Pray. Some Bible fasting will help you.

Jesus Is the Healer

You who are sick and afflicted, accept my prayer for you. I’m not a healer; Jesus is the healer. I’m a believer in the power of prayer. Lord, I bring the sick and afflicted to you today. I bring the cancer victims, the heart patients, the HIV and AIDS victims, the diabetics and victims of all the other diseases that afflict any child of God. I bring the little ones, the children, those who are retarded or crippled: Heal them in the holy, holy name of Jesus! Heal! in the name of the Lord, the all-powerful name of Jesus!

The miracle power is flowing, going into your bodies if you are believing with me. That power will linger to get you or yours well. You must not doubt it, for God cannot work with doubt. Why should you ever doubt Him? He has never failed you yet, and He never will.

It’s time to move, time to walk hand-in-hand with the Lord. When I walked with the Lord in the divine visitation I had no fear whatsoever. There was not one speck of doubt. No matter what was said or what I saw, there was not one doubt. In His presence there is nothing but faith, love and peace. It’s grace, grace, grace, loving grace.

That power is ready to move for you today. Move with the Lord, move through the grace, through the power of God and praise the Lord with all your heart. Decide once and for all that you’re going to make the Rapture: I will make the Rapture; I will make the Rapture; I will make the Rapture! For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call (Acts 2:39). The Bible says the Holy Ghost would be given to those who obey; it’s promised. To refuse the promise is disobedience. You must be obedient to God to make the Rapture; so therefore, the Holy Ghost is a must.
