Many people believe in Jesus, but they have a hard time believing that His miracle power is still working today; and that hinders them from receiving miracles. The Bible says, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8). That means the same Jesus who performed miracles 2000 years ago is performing them today. Do you believe that?

When Jesus was on Earth, He went about preaching and praying for the sick and afflicted; and many people were healed. Jesus’ fame spread quickly among the Jewish people, and people from all around came to hear Him speak and to receive miracles; but that wasn’t the case in His hometown.

The people in Nazareth didn’t view Jesus as a prophet of God with miracle power; they saw Him only as a carpenter’s son. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And he marvelled because of their unbelief (Mark 6:4-6).

It’s sad that those people didn’t believe in Jesus’ miracle power, but He didn’t let that hinder Him. He just continued on to the next village. If someone doesn’t want to believe in the miracle power of Jesus, don’t let it hinder you. Just let the Holy Spirit deal with them.

Jesus was not able to do any great works for the people in Nazareth because they saw Him as just a man, and they lacked the faith to believe. Do you believe Jesus has enough power for you to receive your miracle, healing or deliverance?

Jesus Is More than a Man

Down through the past 2000 years, people have missed opportunities to receive miracles; and that’s sad. They do not give honor and reverence to Jesus, and it hinders the flow of miracle power they need to receive. They doubt that divine miracle power is flowing today because they don’t know Jesus or have any reality in Him.

Jesus was more than just a man to the Apostle Paul. He was his Savior, Master and soon-coming King. For I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day (II Timothy 1:12). How much confidence do you have that Jesus will keep all you have committed unto Him?

Have you given Jesus your whole heart and your whole life, or are there things you are holding back from Him? Holding back anything hinders the flow of miracle power in your life and can prevent you from receiving that perfect miracle, one in which you are healed of everything. You are set free and made whole without one ache, pain or disease in your body.

Just Reach Out

When Jesus and His disciples landed their boat in the land of Gennesaret on the north shore of Galilee, the people came out to greet Him hoping they could receive a miracle. And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased; And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole (Matthew 14:35,36).

No doubt, those people had heard about the woman with the issue of blood and the perfect miracle she had received by simply reaching out and touching the hem of Christ’s garment because they were all willing to go out and bring all their sick and afflicted to where Jesus was. The woman had suffered for twelve long years and spent all of her money on physicians, but she only got worse. And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse (Mark 5:26).

When the woman heard about Jesus and the mighty works He did, she believed He was more than just a man. She knew in her heart that if she could just touch the hem of His garment, she would be made whole. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole (Mark 5:28). She was seeking a perfect miracle.

The woman got close enough to Jesus to touch the hem of His garment, and her faith was so strong that miracle power flowed to her without Him making the first move. Then Jesus turned and said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me (Luke 8:46).

That woman was made whole, and her faith inspired many people to reach out for miracle power from Jesus. They realized that all they had to do was touch the hem of His garment, and they could receive a miracle too.

Believe in God’s Miracles

Miracles increase the faith of others, and that’s why it is so important to testify when you receive a miracle. People need to know that miracles are real and happening today. You can have a miracle if you will just reach out to Jesus. Every Friday, this ministry sends out a prayer request invitation through social media; and each week, thousands of people respond with a request for prayer. Then we all pray together for those requests during each Friday night service, and the people let us know about the amazing miracles they have received.

We send out blest cloths, which are small pieces of cloth that Rev. Chris and I pray over. That cloth carries a great anointing which goes forth to the people. Divine, healing power goes into them, and they receive their miracles. Some of our Growing in Grace pastor partners have testified to us about how they have used a blest cloth to pray for people in their congregations, and the people have been healed. The Bible tells us, Ah Lord GOD!...there is nothing too hard for thee (Jeremiah 32:17). Nothing can stop the flow of God’s miracle power except doubt and fear.

God made man from the dust of the Earth, so He can certainly heal you from any sickness or disease that may be in your body. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father (James 1:17). Sickness and disease are not good and perfect gifts, so they don’t come from God; they come from the devil.

God made Adam and Eve and placed them in the Garden of Eden where everything was perfect, and there was no sickness in their bodies. When they turned against God and sinned, they lost their perfect health and beauty. Now, that doesn’t mean you have sinned if you become sick or afflicted with a disease; but you must know that when afflictions come, the Lord has the power to heal you. It’s His will for you to be in perfect health. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth (III John 1:2).

God’s Miracles for the Israelites

When God led the Israelites out of Egypt, He prospered them with wealth and perfect health. He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes (Psalm 105:37). Millions of people, both young and old, walked out of Egypt with no pain or sickness in their bodies.

After the Israelites had crossed over the Red Sea, the Lord made a covenant with them saying, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26).

Even so, it didn’t take the Israelites long to sin against God. Then He lifted His divine hedge of protection from them; and the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died (Numbers 21:6). This opened the eyes of the people to the realization that they had sinned against God, and they asked Moses to pray that God would take away the poisonous snakes.

And Moses prayed for the people. And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live (Numbers 21:7,8). The people had to obey the words of the Lord in order to be made well, and obedience always brings divine protection and deliverance. The brass serpent is a type and shadow of Jesus on the Cross, and He is our divine protecter and deliverer.

You Must Be Born Again

Nicodemus was a Pharisee and a ruler of the Jews; and he went to Jesus at night saying, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him (John 3:2). Nicodemus recognized that Jesus was a man of God, but he really didn’t know that Jesus was the Son of God.

Jesus answered Nicodemus, Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3). That puzzled Nicodemus, so Jesus went on to explain to him the plan of salvation. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man [Jesus] be lifted up [on the Cross]: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  (John 3:5,14-17).

Nicodemus needed to know that Jesus was more than just a Rabbi—He was God’s Only Begotten Son who came to Earth to destroy all the works of the devil. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil (I John 3:8). Sin, diseases and afflictions are all works of the devil.

Jesus Is the Healer

If you are suffering in your body, know that Jesus loves you and wants to heal you. You can have the perfect miracle and be made whole all over. Just look at the Cross like the Israelites looked at the serpent of brass and receive your miracle. When Jesus was on Earth, He always had compassion for the sick and afflicted; and He still does today.

One day, Jesus was teaching in a synagogue on the Sabbath Day, and He saw a woman there who had been bent over for eighteen years. She was so afflicted and could not stand up straight. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God (Luke 13:12,13). I’m sure many of the people who were there that day knew that woman and how much she had suffered and struggled year after year. Then with just one touch from the Master, she was made whole.

Receive Salvation

If you are a sinner or a backslider today, your soul can be made whole instantly just like that woman’s body was. The miracle of salvation is the greatest miracle of all; and when you ask Jesus Christ into your heart, everything about your life changes. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (II Corinthians 5:17). When I received Christ into my heart, I wanted to tell others about Jesus and be a blessing to them. You can be a blessing to others too.

Friend, I’d like to give you an opportunity right now to ask Jesus Christ into your heart. It doesn’t matter what you have done in the past because God will wipe it all away through the blood and the miracle power of Jesus. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more (Hebrews 8:12).

At this time, I would like you to say the sinner’s prayer with me. Oh, God, save my soul. Forgive me for my sins. I have come home to serve you for the rest of my life. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus. Come on in, Jesus. Amen. Friend, if you meant that prayer, you have Jesus Christ in your heart.

Receive a Miracle

Jesus is not only your Savior but your Healer, so it doesn’t matter what sickness or disease is in your body. God made you; He can heal you. Raise your hands as a point of contact while I pray, and let the miracle power of Jesus flow through your body.

Lord, Heavenly Father, you know what the people need. Break their bondages and set them free. Heal them in the holy, blood name of Jesus. Heal every sickness and disease in their bodies. Heal! in the holy, blood name of Jesus Christ I pray, and let everything come to normal. Amen.
