If you don’t have joy, it’s not God’s fault; nor can you blame the angels. In fact, you can’t even blame the devil and his demons. If you don’t have the joy of the Lord it’s because you are not drinking at the fountain from Heaven that never runs dry. It’s time to decide you’re going to drink from that fountain, for from it flows the help you need, as well as the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit that I like to call the nine graces of the Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law (Galatians 5:22,23).

With the fruits being produced in your life, there will be so much joy on the journey that you will rejoice in times of persecution and tribulation. The Lord needs joyful people to be witnesses for Him. He wants to manifest Himself with great joy through each one of His children.

People are born with a desire to be happy—that’s the way God created man and woman to be in the first place. Seeking true happiness, people find it only in the Lord. Without the Lord, short-lived happiness is the most they can hope for. Wake up to what God has for you and rejoice in the Lord.

Are You Wearing the Shoes of Jesus?

True Christians are in the arena today with the roaring lions of Satan coming against them. We must be ready to use the promises of God with the same power that Jesus used, to be willing to wear the same shoes. It’s time to check your shoes to see whether you have a pair of Jesus’ shoes that fit. If you are not doing the whole will of God, His shoes will not fit; but if you are, your feet are in fine shape, spiritually speaking, to walk the divine paths of righteousness and holiness.

Claim the Great Joy God Offers

Always keep in mind that the Lord wants you to be happy. Rejoice evermore (I Thessalonians 5:16). We don’t need strong drink to intoxicate us; we’re happy without it. Through the joy of the Lord we have great strength. For the joy of the LORD is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Praise the Lord for the joy we have on this journey! When great joy is bubbling on the inside, don’t be afraid to let it show; don’t be afraid to be happy.

Are you happy on this journey? I’m happy. I glory in the joy from above that money can’t buy, joy from the throne of God flowing like mighty rivers. Dip into that river! Some of you are trying to dip, but you’re dipping with a thimble. Are you afraid you’ll bankrupt Heaven? Wake up and claim the joy that God so willingly offers you. I’m here to build a “wake-up fire” under you, to get you ready to claim all God’s promises.

With the fire of the Holy Spirit burning in your soul, you will want to do nothing more than to become a soul-winner. Singing about souls, dreaming about souls will never be far from your mind.

As a born-again witness for the Lord in this final hour, you’re a son or daughter of God, pure, clean and holy, free from all sin, free to journey in the strength of the Lord. You have the same joy that Jesus had, the same power, grace and yearning for souls; and it’s time to enjoy it, time to praise God.

Heaven Is Filled with God’s Praises

Are you afraid to praise God? Do you feel as though you’re in a vise, a straitjacket when others are praising God? Do they make you uncomfortable? If so, you had better not go to Heaven. We’re just starting to praise the Lord down here. Wait until you see Glory Land for yourself! Wait till you tour that city! You will never have heard anything like the shouts of hallelujah going up in that holy place! I hope the devil, even though he can’t get in, will be able to hear. All that joy and rejoicing will rub salt in his wounds.

A Forerunner of the Second Coming

If you have the right kind of voice it will sound out with the blood-anointing of God like John the Baptist’s voice sounded out in the wilderness. The Bride of Christ’s voice will be heard. John the Baptist was the forerunner of Jesus’ first appearance, and the Bride today is the forerunner of His second appearance. Lifting her voice in the glory of the Lord with the power and goodness of God, the Bride is telling the greatness of Jesus.

Shouting Hallelujah! we will let nothing stop us now; we’re going through, paying the price in fastings, in prayers, in studying the Word of the Living God. With the Word bubbling in her heart daily, the Bride is sharing it with other people throughout the whole earth. We’re running with the message burning in our souls like the woman who met Jesus at the well went running to tell everyone she could that she had met the Master. She didn’t have the Holy Ghost; she just had received salvation, the well of Living Water of happiness and goodness. She found that the message of the Lord tasted good, that He was the Son of the Living God, the King of the Jews and of the Samaritans as well.

Don’t Look Back

We have waited on the Lord; we have done what the Lord has told us to do, and now we must go forward with no looking back. If you look back, you’ll be drawn back. If you look back you will find things not good to see.

Wait on the Lord

Isaiah 40:31, But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Wait on the Lord and He will renew your strength to journey on.

Things may slow down temporarily, but keep walking; don’t faint. During a crisis is no time to faint. If you tend to faint, get over it. You’re the same as dead when you faint, as far as working for God is concerned. Discouragement will cause you to faint, to slack up. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord (Psalm 27:14).

It’s Time to Go into Action!

We’ve waited on the Lord and now we need to go into action; the eagle is flying. Are you really moving? The Lord is leaping from mountain to mountain, skipping over the hills with us now in joy and gladness. Are you a part of that power, that grace? Enjoy the Lord!

When you wake in the morning, look to Jesus first of all. He’s ready to leap from mountain to mountain with you. In the past you have gone down into deep valleys in order to climb to higher ground, but no more. Get ready for all the leaps. Our time to bring in the harvest is almost over; the Rapture is about to take place. Time is scarce; don’t waste it. We must be about our Father’s business. Limit yourself on entertainments, but spend much time to glory in the Lord’s presence. Run after Him.

We’ve Been Raised Up for This Hour

I pray for the lost day and night; I pray for soul-winners to help bring in the lost. God has raised you up for this hour, saith the Lord. Years ago He told me He would bring people to the ministry from the East, West, North and South; and He has done just that. We’re dining at the Lord’s table now; we’ve waited on Him and we’re mounting up in His love, in His power, in His grace.

This is the great hour of Jesus’ victory, the hour of powerful visitations and revelations, and all hell can’t stop us—we’re going through! Whatever the Lord wants of us we will do so He can use us as channels to pour His love through. Jesus said, He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38).

We’re getting ready to leave here. It’s time to let people know we believe we’re going. Jesus is about to come after the Bride, and the Holy Ghost is working hard to get every member of the bridal company ready to leave. Day after day we’re seeking more members to join the bridal company; through the holy power of God we’re working, praying, fasting and looking to the Lord, dining with the Lord at His table. “Come and dine! Come and dine!” He invites.

Jesus told the disciples to come and dine; they obeyed and found a table full of His blessings. When the Lord calls you to His table, it’s time to eat; He calls you to a grace table loaded down with all the favor of God.

Trust in God

We’ve waited on the Lord, and now we’re mounting up. Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield (Psalm 33:20). We are taught to trust the Lord with all our heart and to lean not to our own understanding, to put everything in His hands. Turn your requests over to Him. Don’t cry about leaving this world; we’re going to a better one, one in which we will never have to separate from loved ones. How wonderful it is to be together, dwelling in the unity of the Spirit! During every week we are thinking, Hurry Friday! for we are so eager to meet in the great Friday miracle services that have been going on for more than fifty years.

The Devil Can’t Stand before the Blood

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) (Hebrews 10:23). When you profess Christ, you profess His grace, His overcoming power, His divine blood that the devil can’t stand. Just one drop of that divine blood can save everyone on Earth who will yield to it. The souls of the born-again are sealed with the blood of redemption so the devil can’t get in. However, one drop of blood can also destroy every demonic spirit and cast them into the lake of fire. One chain of blood and one angel will put the devil himself into the pit. The Holy Ghost will be there to seal the pit with divine blood so the devil can’t get out until the Lord unseals that pit and lets him go on his way to deceive the nations, to gather all people who will follow him. Then when they surround Jerusalem, God will send down fire from heaven and destroy them all, cast them into the lake of fire to join the other demons and the wicked dead. At last the earth will be cleansed of all sin.

The same blood that keeps Satan from getting into souls will keep him from getting out of the pit until the Lord lets him out and will keep him later in the lake of fire for all eternity. Knowing he doesn’t have much longer to work, the devil troubles every Christian who will allow it. But we can stop him with the blood.

Devils Are Raging

I had never seen such a devil-possessed place in my life as I had in one place in Africa. Untold thousands attended the crusade service that day, and the Spirit of God was there. God had sent me, given me a great convicting message, and the devils were raging in the people. During the service, suddenly I saw big devils in the form of snakes, pale as death, and about fifteen or twenty feet long. Six of them plowed through the thousands of people in the crowd, throwing them this way and that way. It’s hard to tell how many, stiff as boards, fell over as though they were dead. People were falling under the power of the devil, not the power of God, and the preachers didn’t know the difference. People falling under God’s power, however, are not stiff. It’s the devil that makes stiffs; I cried, Take them out of here! Take them out of here! Ushers picked them up, took them out and piled them behind the stage. Someone said it looked like a morgue back there.

They Were Coming after Me!

Then thousands stood up; I thought they were going to leave. I’m used to people getting mad at God. They think they’re mad at me, but they’re mad at the God I represent. I preach the truth. Instead of getting up to leave, however, these thousands were getting up to come after me. I didn’t know at first what they were doing. When I realized they were coming after me, I threw up my hands and shouted at them: Go back! Sit down! They saw blood hands; the blood of Jesus covered my hands, and those devils in the people backed away.

About that time, another one fell out in the devil’s power and the preachers were trying to rejoice about it. That’s the devil! I cried. That’s the power of the devil! It certainly was nothing to shout about. Shocked, they looked at me. They had been afraid to preach against the devil, and there I was holding the devil over the lake of fire letting the people know they didn’t have to be afraid of him. Witchcraft is nothing when the divine blood is in action. Witchdoctors couldn’t put a spell on me if they all came after me at once.

The preachers were afraid; those in witchcraft had killed. The preachers had allowed witchcraft to be in their churches, but God let them know if they didn’t get witchcraft out of their churches, God would push them out of the way. I told the crowd that witchdoctors can’t kill people who have God in them.

The president of the country, now the former president, was on the stage that night with his secret service men. He later said, “Reverend Angley, I’m glad that the service turned out like it did!” I knew then he hadn’t known what was going to happen.

I love to go against the devil. The more the devil rages the more God moves. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound (Romans 5:20).

Put On the Whole Armor of God

Are you afraid? Do you back away from serving the Lord? God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (II Timothy 1:7). If you still have fear, go to Ephesians and put on the whole armor of God. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Clothe yourself in every help that God has given you, everything Jesus used when He was here on Earth. It all belongs to you as a child of God, and it’s time to use it all. We’re in war; the devil is on one side; God on the other, and with God we are ready. We have waited on the Lord until we have become God’s little Davids.

Great Power Is in the Name of the Lord

Do you still feel helpless? Put your trust in God. David faced the giant Goliath with God, a slingshot and five stones—J-E-S-U-S. David wanted to know who this was who had the gall to come against the living God. Who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God? Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied (I Samuel 17:26,45).

Using the name of the Lord in all faith is where the victory lies. Use His name. Jesus said, In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18). In His blood name they will do it. Thank God for Jesus; thank God, we can use His name and miracles take place; we can lay hands on the sick in faith believing and know they will get well. And you know also that you will get well when the hands of a believer are laid on you in all faith believing.

Depend on Miracles

I don’t only believe in miracles, I depend on them. I shout over miracles; I dream of miracles! In your sleep let the Lord use you to dream about victory over the devil, to rise up against him. Use the blood to work with the Lord in your dreams. The Lord doesn’t intend for the devil to torment you in your sleep, doesn’t mean for you to wake up in a cold sweat, in fear because of nightmares. Anoint your pillow with the power in the blood of Jesus, knowing there’s power, wonder-working power in the blood of the Lamb! Praise God for the blood! It’s time to win souls for the Lord on this happy journey. You can be full of joy when you never let your profession of faith waver.

God Supplies Needs

The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season. Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing (Psalm 145:15,16). God just opens His hand, holds out to you what you need, you who wait on Him. My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). If you don’t believe God will supply your needs, you won’t be happy.

The Devil Is a Liar

Do you worry constantly? If so, the devil is robbing you of God’s great joy. Jesus told us that the devil is a robber, a thief, the father of lies. Do you listen to the devil? He’s told millions of lies—do you believe him? You’re ready to turn your back on a person who lies even one time to you; why not turn your back completely to the devil? Why not decide he’s never going to talk to you again? After all, the devil can’t talk to you unless you let him; don’t give your mind to him. Listen in on the Lord’s joyful messages, on what the good Lord is doing. Praise the Lord; see His hand moving throughout the whole earth. We don’t have long to work, I say again.

Rejoice in Your Salvation

But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation (Psalm 13:5). How much do you rejoice in your salvation? Some people doubt their salvation because they don’t remember to rejoice in it. When I was saved, no one was happier than I. So much joy and peace thrilled my soul that I felt almost as though I were in a dream world. Deep into the Lord’s grace, I wasn’t conscious of a devil anywhere. For about six weeks I lived in a glorious trance—this was the boy who hadn’t wanted God, the boy who had thought that to get saved would be to go to his death, that he would be like an old person who could no longer do anything he loved. But to my utter amazement the Lord let me see that I didn’t really know what happiness was in sin. He took me over, held me in His arms for six weeks and let me be blessed and blessed.

Then one morning I woke up, felt around for my salvation and it was gone. What a dark morning! I had gotten up around five-thirty—and oh, Lord, what had happened! I kept wondering what was wrong that I couldn’t feel my salvation at all. The only way it could have gotten out was while I was asleep, and I knew that couldn’t be. No matter what you dream, you can’t lose your salvation while you sleep. Then about ten o’clock the heavens lit up. The Lord was letting me see that my faith had to be tested, my first test after being saved for only six weeks. It lasted a few hours and then again I had joy, joy, joy. Now nothing was able to stop me from rejoicing in the Lord. What a great day I had! Regardless of what the devil was saying or trying to do, I could shout blood victory in his face.

Laughing in the Face of Persecution

What makes you happy? The Lord makes me happy. When the Lord took my wife, Angel, I didn’t know I could ever laugh again, not a genuine laugh. It took God to make me laugh, and today I have much laughter. I can even laugh when persecutions are taking place.

Angel said one time, “I declare, Honey, I believe you enjoy persecutions.” She didn’t. But why not laugh at the devil and what he is trying to pull? It makes him angry when you laugh at him, furious when you are so happy that you don’t believe a word he is saying or anything he is doing. Acting as though he doesn’t exist, you shout praises to the Lord, delighting in God and your salvation. The more the devil tries to defeat you, the deeper you go in the Lord. Rejoice that you’re saved, that you’re not going to hell.

The Soul Is Eternal

Your salvation should be so real that you know you are going to Heaven as surely as though you were already there. In fact, you will have no more eternal life when you get to Heaven than you have today, for when you are saved through the divine blood, you are given eternal life. The soul is the part that came from God, and it’s eternal. You can’t add to eternal life. Rejoice! You’re going to live forever with the Lord when you have been born again!

The body came from the dust of the earth and it will go back to where it came from. In Heaven we will have a glorified body like Jesus had after He was resurrected.

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end (Hebrews 3:14). What was the beginning of your confidence? Your salvation, your deliverance, your coming into holiness when you were made brand-new.

See Yourself As God Sees You

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (II Corinthians 5:17). Born again, you’re created in the righteousness and holiness of God, and are just as holy as Adam was before the fall.

Do you see yourself as the Lord sees you? If you are always unhappy, you don’t see clearly, you don’t see what is offered you on the Lord’s table. Dissatisfied, you may be trying to live in tomorrow or trying to live in the past instead of living in the present. The only time you can live is today, and the only time you can be happy is right now.

The Lord holds all our tomorrows in His hands. Do you trust Him? If so, you can be happy, but if you don’t trust Him you’re in more trouble than you realize. Afraid of tomorrow? If so, you are not trusting the Lord. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding; In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:5,6). God will direct all your paths when you trust Him.

God’s Promises Are Conditional

Are you really happy on this journey? And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation (Isaiah 25:9). We have waited for God; this hour just before the Rapture is the great hour the Lord has led me to preach about ever since I came to Akron, Ohio. It’s our hour, our blood hour, our joyful hour, our deliverance hour.

All we need is Jesus. As one elderly gentleman testified: When you have Jesus, you don’t need much else. Many times I’ve thought about that statement. Our needs are supplied when we have Jesus; He has promised.

God’s promises are always fulfilled as long as we meet the conditions of the promise and ask according to God’s will. Divine healing is God’s will, but we must claim it in all faith. Every promise that God makes is conditional. Israel was promised a specific land, but they had to claim it, had to set their feet on it. All the promises in the New Testament belong to you and me; but we, I say again, have to meet the condition of each promise to claim it, to set our feet on it. Until we meet the condition of the promise, the fulfillment is not ours. I seek to meet the condition of each and every promise in the Bible. I want to know if I’m meeting that condition the way God expects, and if I’m not, I am determined to find what the hindrance is.

Claim the promises; meet the conditions. Not looking left or right, let everyone else do what they will, but claim the promise of happiness, the “joy unspeakable and full of glory.” The Lord has promised it. Decide that nothing will take from you the peace and joy of Heaven that are eternal as Heaven itself. God’s joy and peace are every bit as real as Heaven is. Why not use what Heaven has to offer? You can draw on Heaven’s bank account before you get there. Draw from Heaven’s bank; fill in your check, it’s already written in blood and signed: Jesus. He paid the price for your bank account in Heaven.

Don’t Depend on the World’s Happiness

Why are you unhappy? Why depend on little things of the world for your happiness when that happiness is so fleeting? You can be happy eating a candy bar, but so quickly it’s gone. Now your joy turns into worry about the calories. You won’t get overweight at the Lord’s table; you’ll get strong in the Lord. The joy of the Lord, remember, is your strength. At the table of the Lord, your happiness will bring strength for every need. Jesus came to bring joy to people who didn’t have any. He came to bring peace to people who knew no peace; Jesus came for you. Wake up! You’re at the Lord’s table; it’s time to dine and to drink at the fountain that never runs dry. Don’t you hear what the Lord is saying to you?

Use the things of the Lord. Say, Jesus, here I come! Every day is going to be yours. I seek to make the Lord a good day, and if I do, that’s a good day for me as well. I never seek to make myself a good day.

Work at making the Lord good days. Spread love, Heaven’s good cheer. Give to everyone the wonderful, powerful message of salvation, the baptism in the Holy Ghost and Jesus’ soon return.

Reach Up and Touch the Lord

Heaven is so close you can reach up in the Spirit and touch the Lord. Reach up and see if you don’t feel good just reaching up and touching Heaven. The blood has made it possible to contact Heaven. But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ (Ephesians 2:13). You can call Jesus any time through the blood, touch Heaven any time.

The joy, the peace, the direction in all things are on the table. Child of God, reach out and touch the Lord for whatever you need, spiritually, physically or financially. Sinner, you can reach for salvation; it’s on the table. You who have no peace: You can reach and find peace. If love is scarce in your home, reach and find plenty here at the Lord’s table, the love table. My Spirit prayeth for thee, saith the Lord. This is your hour of visitation, your hour of revelation, your hour of greatness, saith the Lord. This is your hour of joy unspeakable and full of glory. This is your hour.

The Sinners’ Prayer

If you are unsure of your salvation, pray the sinners’ prayer with me now. It’s time to come to God. Oh, God, save my soul! I’m so sorry that I sinned against you, but I have come home. I’m going to serve you, Lord, the rest of my life. I believe that Jesus died for me, and I will live for Him. And I believe that the divine blood of Jesus washes away all my sins! Come into my heart, Jesus; come on in!

If you meant that prayer, He has come, you have Him and you have eternal life. Take this great anointing, this ultimate anointing, saith the Lord. He is pouring it out to you. It’s time to receive. The time comes when you don’t have to wait any longer. It’s time now to mount up, saith the Lord; mount up fast like the eagle. I need you, saith the Lord, to mount up in my love like never before. Mount up in my miracle power like never before. Mount up in my grace like never before. Mount up in my joy, my goodness, my mercy. I have need of you, and I’m flowing mighty rivers to you now, this my people that I have chosen. I have chosen you and I have brought you to rest under my wings. Under my wings you have come to rest, saith the Lord.

Take Jesus’ Healing Touch

This is your hour of goodness and mercy; this is the great hour for the Bride. If you have a death disease or a chronic disease working in you, touch yourself right now and be healed, saith the Lord. Touch yourself with the Jesus touch and be made well. Reach and touch in the name of Jesus; decide: This is my miracle! Lord, I’ll honor you with glory. I’ll glorify your name as long as I live on Earth and then as the endless ages roll. Lord, I’m all yours. I am here, saith the Lord. I am here to give miracles and healings now. I am here to reward you now. Your miracle, your need, your salvation or whatever you need is on my table right now. Everybody’s need is on the table. Your need is supplied; it’s on the table. I’ve given you faith to serve yourself. Reach out, reach out now. Reach out with my strength; reach out with my love; reach out right now, saith the Lord.

Let God’s power flow through you now; let the Lord make you whole the way He made me whole when I didn’t know if I would ever be well. I thought that surely I would be dead in a matter of days. But suddenly I was made whole all over and told about this power to take to the world, this power to carry to the people. It’s real. Take what you need. You may have suffered so much that you can’t see healing on the table through the eye of faith, that you can’t hold on to the promises of God. I’ve been there. I know how it happened with me. But then I found the Lord had been there all the time with His healing powers, His miracle greatness to cure me of not only one thing, but to cure me all over. He reminded me later, I healed you all over. I made you whole.

Unload every thought that has been hindering you. You’ve been waiting, and now is the time to mount up like the eagle, to rise above all doubt, all fear, all things unlike God. It’s time for the eagle to fly, to mount up above your troubles, to rise up above all fear, all weaknesses, all diseases and afflictions, all worry and despair, all oppression and depression. It’s time for you to mount up, saith the Lord. Give over to the Holy Ghost and let Him flood your soul with His great wonderworking power from on High. It’s time to fly in the Holy Spirit, and experience the joy of the journey!
