The Faith Walk
by Ernest Angley
February 1993
God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). You never would have found Calvary had not God in His mercy given you a measure of faith. He has dealt a measure of faith to all. God’s faith is a most precious gift, a gift beyond all price, available to everyone. Whosoever will can have a measure of faith. But that measure of faith is not the same as the gift of faith, one of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit. Although the gift of faith of the Holy Spirit is not for everyone, there are many measures of faith the Lord gives. Living, thinking, praying the walk of faith is the only way to stay with the Lord all the time.
The first chapter of Luke tells of a young handmaiden of the Lord visited by an angel who brought this startling message: Thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God (Luke 1:31,35).
Nothing Is Impossible for God
The angel went on to tell Mary about her cousin Elisabeth who had conceived a son in her old age. This son was to be the forerunner of Jesus. For with God nothing shall be impossible (verse 37).
The angel came to Mary because the Lord had weighed her and found in her spirit faith that knew with God nothing was impossible. That’s the way it must be with God’s people in this last hour. When the Lord says, For with God nothing shall be impossible, close the case. You have your answer for any prayer you pray in the will of God. God will take care of it; God will work it out. It’s in the hands of God, and with Him absolutely nothing is impossible.
Mary’s response to the astonishing news the angel brought was wonderful: And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word (verse 38). Be it unto me according to the faith of God. She was in the faith of God; human faith would not have accepted the words of the angel.
God had a plan for Mary’s life. What if she had doubted God; what if she hadn’t been willing to go through with His plan? God asked for her whole life to be given to Him. She had to forget about her happiness, forget what people would think. Without hesitating she said, Be it unto me according to thy word. Whatever, Lord, you want of me, I am yours. She stepped right out onto front–line duty.
The spirit that Mary manifested is the spirit given to the Bride in this last hour: I am yours, Lord. That’s the reason Jesus is coming for the Bride, the reason He will change her in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye. She is His totally. She belongs to her Lord. Her eyes are upon Him, her faith in Him, her trust, her happiness. Her future depends on Him. Everything in her life is built around Him and for Him.
If you can’t accept the Word which says nothing is impossible with God, you will have trouble using God’s faith; and God will be limited in your life. However, if you can accept it, live with it as Mary did, then you have it made, saith the Lord, if you can do that. But you must be able to accept in your heart that with God nothing is impossible.
This faith gives you the kind of relationship with God that He desires, the relationship He enjoyed for all too short a period of time with the first man and the first woman in the Garden of Eden.
In the past, some of God’s people have continually doubted Him; and the devil was able to separate them from the close relationship the Lord had desired to have with them. The devil was unable to get them to backslide—they kept faith for salvation in their souls—but the Holy Spirit could not flow the benefits of that faith into their minds. Many of God’s people have been troubled in prayer, discouraged as they wondered why they couldn’t get prayers answered. They were not really accepting the fact that with God nothing is impossible, not yielding completely and willingly to the Word of God.
A Whirlwind of Evil Harvest
Many in the Christian world do not believe in the Virgin Birth of Christ. Some years ago in a poll taken of theological students regarding the Virgin Birth, it was found that over ninety percent of them doubted it. Today we are reaping a whirlwind of evil harvest because of those unbelieving ministers. Only two percent in the survey were sure Jesus was born of a virgin.
Why would anyone want to become a minister if he or she didn’t believe the whole Word of God? Why not just go into social work? Those who doubted the Word of God weren’t studying to promote the Kingdom of God; doubt is not a help to the Kingdom. God would have been better off had they never been born, and they themselves certainly would have been.
Without the Virgin Birth, Jesus would not have been divine. The Bible is the Word of God—God’s faith—and if God’s faith were lying about Jesus’ birth we would have nothing to trust in. Unbelievers are people without help or hope, headed for destruction. Jesus the very Son of God, born of a virgin, is the foundation of God’s faith.
Put self down. Don’t listen to self. Lift up Jesus until self has no more voice. When self begins to question the promises of God, shut self off and let God be in control. All too often the reason we can’t get answers from the Lord is because self drowns out the voice of God.
The voice of God’s eternal faith is the loudest voice on the face of the earth, God’s faith voice. Yet many cannot hear His faith voice because their ears are stopped up with human faith, human disobedience and love of the material world. God’s faith cannot penetrate such a shield because it isn’t wanted.
What kind of faith do you have? If your faith doesn’t stand the faith test of the Virgin Birth, it is not God’s faith, not the faith you must have in this last hour, not the faith that will help you in every valley.
Trust and Obey
With God, nothing shall be impossible, absolutely nothing. When you accept that, your prayer life will be different, for you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that your help cometh from on High. Complete trust in God’s Word takes fear, frustration, despair out of you. With God’s faith you won’t go into the prayer chamber always struggling and not receiving but with eagerness because you know you will meet Jesus, the faith of God connects you with Him. Confident that you are walking hand in hand with the Holy Spirit, that He blends with your personality and you blend with His, you become one with Him. How blessed it is!
To walk the way God wants you to walk—like the Early Church walked—you must believe the whole Word of God. Decide to do and be whatever God wants. The faith of God cries for complete willing obedience. All the faith in the Bible points to God’s way of obedience into the greatness of Him.
The voice of God is paramount, the voice that every human being can hear and accept. The voice of the Lord speaks faith to our hearts.
Reading God’s Word should not be looked upon as a fetter; prayer must never be bondage—and it has been to many of God’s children. Prayer is to be a time of glorifying the Lord, praising the Lord and trusting Him. Rather than entering the prayer chamber like a beggar, go in as a child of the King, part of the family of God. Walk into the Lord’s operating room knowing you are not a charity case. Go in with perfect confidence that no matter what, when Jesus speaks, it’s done. When God moves, it’s a miracle. Nothing is impossible for Him. Whatever way God moves is up to Him; just know that He will do it. He is the supreme specialist for mankind, Jesus Christ, the Great Physician.
Tongue Control
The Israelites needed an answer. Why was God leading them to Jericho? Massive walls enclosed the city and they had nothing with which to tear down the walls. Imagine the fear they felt; discouraging words flying in all directions took the heart out of many. And the Lord said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour. And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him. And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout (Joshua 6:2–5,10).
Like the Israelites, we must learn how to keep our mouths shut when God doesn’t want them open. It takes more yielding to God to control the tongue than to control any other part of you. As long as you keep your tongue under subjection to the Holy Spirit, He has all of you. But when the tongue is out of control, you are out of control. Think what can happen to a runaway car in a split second; the out–of–control tongue can cause even greater havoc. Your tongue can be a danger to your spiritual health.
I once asked a woman in the invalid section of one of my services what she wanted. She said, “I want you to pray for me—I’ve got a mean tongue.” Suddenly my faith went heaven high; I was ready to pray for someone that honest. It made no difference to me what she had been saying. She was confessing she had a mean tongue, and she wanted forgiveness; she wanted God to do something about it.
The Bride seeks to please her Lord in word as well as deed regardless of whom she displeases in the process. She has that much love, that kind of faith, the same love Jesus had when He was here on Earth, the same faith; and she will do the same works Jesus did. He said it would be. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (John 14:12).
God Wants You to Be Happy
The plan that God has for your life can only be fulfilled through your total obedience. That plan lays out before you a walk of faith. Learn to walk and live in God’s faith. Stop worrying and fretting. Have you ever seen worry accomplish anything positive? If someone met you with a sack full of worry, would you want it? Yet the devil has peddled many bags of depression, worry, oppression, despair, doubt to God’s people. You can’t allow him to influence you. When you accept the devil’s bag of weights, you don’t know the trouble you are getting. The devil can appear as an angel of light, so make sure you know whom you are dealing with. Move away from the devil’s delivery street and live in the glory of the Lord, in the peace of God.
When you first received salvation, didn’t you have peace? Your mind was overwhelmed by it, so captured by the Lord that the Holy Spirit could flow the peace of God from your soul into your mind for days afterward. But problems arise when human reasoning overshadows the faith God has placed in your born–again soul: trouble and self pity can come in to crowd out the peace of God.
It’s time to decide that since the Lord wants you happy, you are going to be happy. You can be happy with just one candy bar—until it’s gone. But you were happy while eating it. If little pleasures in life can make you happy for a short period of time, how much more can the Lord’s eternal happiness affect you! He is eternal happiness, eternal joy, eternal faith. Cling to His happiness. Use His faith, rooted and grounded in the Lord so that when the storm is raging, you will be confident in His protecting hand. When it looks as though the sun will never shine again, you are still all right. Nothing is impossible for God.
Miracle Faith Used by Bible Saints Is Yours, Too
This faith from God that you have is not a new faith. It’s the faith the Noah family had on board the ark, the only faith. Had they used the faith of others, they would have been left to drown with those outside the ark. You can’t use the faith of your kin or your neighbor. Many have become confused looking at others instead of looking to the faith of God. You must use the faith of God that was on board the ark. You need God’s faith and protection to do His work, the same faith that Abraham, Noah, Joseph, Moses, Daniel, the Hebrew boys and the other saints of God used. It’s not another faith available to you, but the same faith. God put these men and women in the Bible on purpose to let you know the faith a human being could use.
Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit (James 5:17,18). Elijah was human just like the rest of us. What set him apart? He used the faith of God in a great way. In this last hour, we, too, must use the faith of God in a great way.
The Lord doesn’t want weak faith used, and so He doesn’t give out that kind. If you have weak faith, it is not from Heaven. Test what you have from God. The Bible gives account after account of how God’s faith was tested and proven true. Nothing is impossible with God. Turn to the faith of Noah; study his faith, how it worked for a family one hundred twenty years. Some give up if they don’t get an answer from God in one hundred twenty days: I’ve done the best I could, and God hasn’t answered. Be glad God is patient.
Without faith—God’s faith—you have nothing, no hope for eternity. Only the faith of God tells you there is an eternal day of happiness. Human faith cannot reach that far. Because it takes God’s faith to believe for eternity, God is careful to see that we have plenty of His faith. It is up to us to use it. Without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6).
Without the faith of God you won’t have the knowledge of Him, you’ll not have the Source to draw on. Without faith you cannot love God; you can’t have His help, His peace, courage and joy. What can you have without the faith of God? Nothing that God promises in His Word. He who cometh to God must know that He is God, and with Him nothing is impossible.
Walk as He Walked
You can walk with human beings, you can walk with the devil; but without faith you can’t take one step with God. Every step He takes is a faith step. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked (I John 2:6). That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10). And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet–smelling savour (Ephesians 5:2). For we walk by faith, not by sight (II Corinthians 5:7). Walk in faith and love so you can walk with God.
Many don’t recognize the faith of God or know whether they have it or not. If they are born again, faith is in their souls; but the devil convinces them they can’t use it. Because they won’t allow God’s faith to flow from their souls, expand into their minds where it can work, faith lies dormant like money in the bank that is never spent. Don’t hold onto faith, refusing to use it. Let it work through you.
Walk with God. You say you walk with God, but where are the miracles? I’ve seen people full of fear who were supposed to be walking with God. Fear blocks the miracle flow of God. How does that make Him feel? He holds a hand cold and clammy as death. Fear has made it that way. I love you, God, the person says; but no trust comes through the words. Walking in God’s faith means having trust in Jesus. The closeness Jesus had here on Earth with the Father is meant for you to have, too. You don’t need to live in fear and frustration; God wants you to live in His faith, believing for all the promises in His Word.
God Does Not Communicate with Human Faith
The Bible is Heaven’s faith book; and the only way you can get the life, the power you need out of it—God’s greatness and promises—is to use God’s faith in believing it. You can only obtain results from the Bible when you use the faith of God. There is no other way. As long as you ponder with your human faith the promises of God, you are wasting an awful lot of time, saith the Lord. He cannot perform for you or communicate with you through your human faith. Using human faith, you leave the prayer chamber the same person as when you came in. Therefore, you put yourself at arm’s length from the Lord and then either blame God or else think you don’t understand the Bible.
No one can understand the Bible without God’s Spirit of understanding, for it was written by the Spirit and is discerned by the Spirit. Only by the Spirit can the things of God be discerned. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God (I Corinthians 2:11).
Learn to separate your spirit from the Spirit of God so you will know whether or not you are using God’s faith or your own. God’s faith tells you nothing is impossible with Him.
Using human faith instead of God’s faith has bogged down many people, discouraged them and turned them away from the greatness of God. They thought they could not get prayers through to God, but had they used God’s faith it would have been a different story.
God Hears the Prayers of the Righteous
The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry (Psalm 34:15). The Lord hears every word you speak although you are not conscious of it. The Lord is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous (Proverbs 15:29). And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him (I John 5:14,15). Why struggle believing God hears what you are saying? He hears all your words.
Don’t go in before the Lord too upset to use His faith. Be still before the Lord and know that He is God; He hears and cares. Living for God is not a hit–skip–miss type of dedication but a daily dedication of seeking and drawing on more and more of Him.
The Lord promised, For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). Are the Lord’s promises true? Is He really part of the Godhead, able to listen to you while He is listening to everyone else on planet Earth? He can if you call Him through His faith. You can talk to Heaven anytime, day or night through His faith, knowing that with God nothing is impossible. His faith is the only kind of faith that will give you a direct line to the Throne of God. You can use your human faith, saying, God, I believe, I believe, I believe; but it won’t bring you into the realm of receiving from God.
When a person listens to the Word, he receives faith. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).
Even sinners receive faith without realizing it if they listen to anointed preaching. If I can get a sinner to listen to me preach, he will receive some faith. Faith cometh by hearing the Word.
Making Melody in Your Heart
Through anointed singing, also, sinners hear the Word. That’s the reason it is so important to sing songs with the message of the Lord in them. Faith and love can be served through songs.
Be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 5:18–20). As long as you send forth a song from your mind to your soul, with God’s faith, love and Word in it, you are receiving faith, faith, faith, God’s faith. This is the only way the Bible advises you to speak to your soul. Speak to your soul with the message of God which is the faith of God. You are speaking faith all the time you make melody in your heart to the Lord. Songs without the message of God’s love, faith, hope and peace send the wrong message to your soul and your life. You gain no strength from them.
God is constantly seeking to serve you more faith. Don’t plead for faith; know that faith cometh by hearing the Word of God. Let your soul hear you singing the Word of God. Whether the Word is in song or spoken, it will edify those who really listen to it.
Be conscious of the fact that feeding yourself the wrong message will take away instead of add the things of God to your soul. Your walk with God hinges on using God’s faith. You can’t merit His faith; you can’t buy it. Faith is a gift from God.
A Spirit of War
Most people are without the faith of God, and that lack opens the door to fear. Fear is upon the earth, and even more fear is coming. Jesus, prophesying about the endtime hour we live in, said, Then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened (Matthew 24:21,22). We read in Luke that Jesus said of this time that men’s hearts will be failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken (Luke 21:26). The spirit of war is in the world; it’s the spirit of Antichrist. This world is going to be destroyed.
A Way of Escape
Never has there been such a time of fear, never a time when so many have been stricken with heart attacks. But in this time of unrest, God’s faith brings a message to keep you in great serenity and give you His peace: We have a way of escape. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words (I Thessalonians 4:15–18).
Again and again the cry will go forth: Our Lord cometh! Our Lord cometh! Seeing His greatness being manifested throughout the world, knowing nothing is impossible with Him, we will not doubt His coming. We will have the same faith Daniel had in the den of lions, saith the Lord. We will have the same faith the Hebrew boys had in the fiery furnace. We will have the same faith that Moses had when the waters separated to the left and to the right and a highway was made through the Red Sea—the same faith! That’s the faith the Lord wants you to identify with and to use.
Everyone determined to be a part of the bridal company in this last hour must have open ears to what the Lord is saying, not to the world’s or man’s opinions. Listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying: Be born again, filled with the Holy Spirit, without garments spotted or wrinkled. Be ready for the coming of the Lord.
Rivers of Living Water
In this last hour, the strength that flows through the channel of faith is our life, our keeping power. Through this great channel of faith, God flows all power, all grace needed like many rivers from Heaven. Jesus said, He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) (John 7:38,39). The rivers of living water will flow through the God–channel of faith, saith the Lord. God is ready to stretch forth His hand to perform great and wonderful things, but the miraculous flows through the channel of faith. We as a people of God must prepare that channel and keep it open. We are the only ones who can; only the obedient can use that channel. All others clog it up, cut it off.
If you don’t respond to God’s faith like Mary, Daniel, Noah and others, you will not receive it. There is no other way to use God’s faith but the way they did—one hundred percent. They didn’t use if’s or and’s; accepting the pure faith of God, they gave their lives completely over to it, secure in the knowledge that with God nothing was impossible. They were so involved and wrapped up in the faith of God that they moved as the fingers of God on His own hand. The Lord is seeking in the Bride the same total obedience.
Much depends on you. The hour is late, and God is calling you to come into the flow of His Spirit, into the channel of His faith, into the God walk. Only by using the faith of God can you walk such a walk. There is much for the Bride to do in this last hour, and it can only be done as God finds obedience.
God’s Business Is His Own
Some of you have been guilty of criticizing God’s true Word, and it has hindered you greatly. You must never do it again, saith the Lord; never criticize His plan. When you criticize people who are carrying out His plan, you are really criticizing God. God wants you to know that.
God’s business is His own; the holy conception was God’s business. It was the young handmaiden of the Lord’s business to yield one hundred percent to the faith, to the thoughts, to the plan of God. God had to pick a maiden, and it took Him a long time to select the right one. He proved her over again and again; and that’s what the Lord is doing with you, proving you over again and again until you can say like Mary, Be it unto me according to thy Word, for with God, nothing is impossible.
Miracle Faith
Don’t look back; don’t look to the left or to the right, but look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Jesus came to Earth to be our faith. His faith that He brought us is our victory. This is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith (I John 5:4). Using the same faith, not another, but the same faith of Jesus, we can go from victory to victory in this final hour. Jesus showed the disciples how it would work, and work it did.
Before Pentecost, the disciples used a good deal of human faith; but when the Holy Spirit took them over in the Upper Room and possessed them, they walked one hundred percent in Jesus’ faith and did His works just like He said they would. The Bride will do Jesus’ works, will live in His love and have understanding of this hour.
There is much God wants done; and it will take His miracle faith to do it, nothing less. The Lord is offering you all of it. He didn’t give you this message to discourage you but to encourage you.
Israel would never have known deliverance had it not been for God’s faith. There would have been no healings for them if God’s faith had not been used. The Bible says He healed them all. He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes (Psalm 105:37). He sent his word, and healed them (Psalm 107:20). They were not only healed, they were all made strong; not one feeble person was among them. No one limped along or was afflicted with any of the diseases of the Egyptians. God had sent His Word, His miracle faith, and healed them. Nothing is impossible with God.
A Conditional Promise
God made a covenant of faith with the Israelites: If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26). God’s chosen people left the diseases and afflictions of Egypt behind—as long as they obeyed the Lord and lived in His faith. God promised to keep sickness away from their door—a faith promise to a whole nation; but it was conditioned on their obedience, and that obedience failed again and again. Although by miracle power the Israelites crossed the Red Sea, for forty years they were not ready to take their faith walk into Canaan. Their murmuring and complaining scattered spiritual “mine fields” throughout their journey in the wilderness. Are you ready to take the faith walk into your spiritual Canaan? Are you ready to take the faith walk to Rapture ground?
We need to step in and take our faith place in the Lord more than ever before for soul, mind and body, saith the Lord. Step forward saying with the obedient we read of in the Word: For with God, nothing is impossible. The Lord wants to do more for His people than He has in the past in the way of miracles for the body, restoring the physical temple and doing the unbelieveable.
Where Is the God of Elijah?
The River Jordan, a symbol of death, had to be crossed before Elijah reached Rapture ground. How would he cross? And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two [he and Elisha] went over on dry ground (II Kings 2:8). Had Elijah not walked the faith walk one hundred percent with his God, the waters would not have separated. But when he struck the waters, symbolizing death, they separated, and only life remained. Elijah walked across his last river. He was so close to God; he knew he was to be raptured that day. Why did he have such faith that God would perform the impossible? Because he walked hand in hand, in step with God. Elijah was on time with the Lord.
When Elisha returned to Jordan after seeing Elijah taken to Heaven in a chariot of fire, his cry was, Where is the Lord God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over (verse 14). Where is the God of Elijah? Where is the God with such supreme faith, power and greatness? As the waters parted, Elisha knew that he, too, was in step now. The Lord was doing the impossible for Elisha just like He did for Elijah.
Put God First
Mary the handmaiden of the Lord didn’t ask anyone if she should accept what the Lord told her. In the channel of God’s faith she understood that God was supreme, He could not fail and she was a servant of her God.
You must decide to serve the Lord first before you serve anyone else no matter how close. Some of you again and again put husband, wife, children ahead of God, saith the Lord; and God won’t allow it in this final hour among those who are going to be His totally obedient. You think God excuses you; but He doesn’t, saith the Lord. God must take His proper place as first in the lives and hearts of His children. He will not take second place to satisfy anyone. You will have to clear out any others you have put in His place.
You’re in the final hour; and if you’re going to follow the faith–walk, you’re going to walk it pleasing God and no other way. Daily you will have to please God first; that’s the only kind of pleasing He will settle for in the Bride in her final walk.
As the Bride puts God first, many wonderful works will be performed, many great things will happen. Wonders and miracles took place in Bible days; study the conditions present for them to happen.
Prove yourself and see if you are in the faith. You don’t have to prove it to God; He knows. Prove to your own heart. Check your own life. Don’t check it with your tongue but with your actions. How much of self do you really give to God? Does God have top priority in your life? Do others take God’s place?
In the past you may have felt justified in putting God second; but you will never walk with Him in this great hour and make it to Rapture ground, saith the Lord, unless you’re walking the all–out walk of God’s faith and love. It can be no other way.
Thus Saith the Lord
Yea, saith the Spirit of the Lord: I am reaching to you. I have given my servant a message for you, and I want you to use this message and search every part of you. Know who you are, what you are, and if you are really walking with me all the time or part of the time. The hour is late, too late for you not to do all that I want you to do, too late for you not to trust me completely, too late for you not to love me with all your heart, too late for you to doubt my promises, too late to fail to obey me and bring in my harvest.
You must be my overcomer. I’ve offered you everything that you need to be my overcomer, and yet some of you continue to push the things that I offer aside and to walk your path more like you wanted to walk it or more like other human beings want you to walk it.
You didn’t choose me; I chose you. I chose you for salvation. I chose you to live in my Heaven. I chose you to have life eternal, but yet the enemy has deceived you again and again. You thought you had the right to choose and to do or not do, but it isn’t like that. If you’re going to walk with me, it’s a must that you please me. You must please me. You will be glad when the journey ends that you pleased your Lord in all things. Do not fail to please me or multitudes will perish and go to hell because my children failed.
My Lord and my God! Lift your heart to the Lord and ask Him to help you to see as He sees, to walk as He walks and love as He loves. If there is any lack in your spirit, ask Him to furnish what you need. Reach out with all humility, all repentance to receive that which He is seeking to serve you. Apply it daily the rest of your journey. You can’t afford to destroy God’s plan in your life for His Kingdom in this last hour. You dare not fail Him now; you dare not do anything less than walk with His faith steps.
The walk of God’s faith—there is nothing like it, nothing so powerful, so wonderful, so refreshing and nothing so lasting, so wonderful and good. His faith–walk makes you confident that with God nothing shall be impossible.
