This thought I want you to keep in mind: You’re the master of your destiny; the Lord gave you free choice. And since you’re the master of your destiny, you can turn your life over to the Lord and be wise, or you can turn your life over to the devil and be foolish; your destiny is in your hands. It is up to you whether you go to Heaven or hell. No one can keep you out of Heaven and no one can keep you out of hell, only you.

Jesus said, Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut [Notice: The door was shut]. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not (Matthew 25:1-12).

Here are two classifications of people: the wise and the foolish. Which do you prefer to be, a wise person or a foolish person? The destiny of a wise person is in your own hands; you’re the master of that destiny; you have that choice. If you choose the destiny of a foolish person, the Lord will declare, I don’t know you as a member of the bridal company; I don’t know you as a part of the Bride. Your destiny now is the Tribulation Period.

To be wise is to know the way of the Lord, to have the oil of the Spirit and the things that God offers you. If you don’t have these things in your life that God has said you can and must have, then no matter how much you claim to be wise, you are foolish. If you’re doing anything that would keep you from making the Rapture you are very, very foolish. The wise are wide-awake and making sure that no spots are on their garments, no wrinkles. They are without blame before the Lord, living holy before Him.

What Are You Doing with Your Talents?

Jesus went on to say, Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents (Matthew 25:13-16).

Notice what the wise did with their talents. What are you doing with your talents? Are you a foolish person with the talents of God or are you a wise person? Many foolish people have talents, but they have the frown of God because they’re handling that which belongs to Him in a careless manner. They one day will realize what foolish people they have been when the full impact of what the Lord considers to be a foolish person suddenly hits them.

The one who was given five talents increased them, and likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money (Matthew 25:17,18). What a foolish person to receive the talent of God and not use it! God gives every one of His children a talent.

Matthew 25:19-23, After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. The Lord is telling the faithful, the wise: Well done! But consider the foolish talk of the one who failed Him: Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed. Yes, the foolish person thinks that God is hard, but God isn’t hard at all. This excuse came from a foolish mouth, a foolish heart, a foolish spirit. Lord, I knew that you were a hard person and I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine (Matthew 25:24,25).

The person with one talent failed the Lord, and the Lord took that talent away. The Lord is going to do much of that in this final hour; He’s going to take talents away from the foolish and give them to the wise, to the Bride of Christ because she will use those talents for Him.

People who have talents and won’t use them for God will have them taken away. But you who desire to work for God and are willing to sacrifice all to bring in the harvest can expect God to increase your talents in Him so that you will be able to accomplish more, do more.

The Lord Serves Us to Serve Others

For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath (Matthew 25:29). God has given us much and He’s going to give us more. He is serving us His possessions, and we who use them wisely will find more and more available to us. There will be no end to what we can have, no stopping place as the Lord serves us. The more we work and serve Him to the people, the more He will give us to serve them.

It is an exciting time, and God has given me a definite revelation of this endtime hour, telling me what He’s going to do. I take what He tells me to the Word of God always to be confirmed in the Scriptures.

The Bible Is Our Safety

Every manifestation, every trait of man we see now or has been seen in the past is recorded in the Bible so that we won’t get into fanaticism, so the devil cannot deceive the wise in any way. The wise take everything to the Word of God. When people say they’ve found a new manifestation, be careful. The devil has plenty of new manifestations, but every manifestation of God for us today has already been given in the past. God put His manifestations into the Bible so we would have them as our safety. There will be no excuse for anyone to be deceived in this final hour, no excuse for people to be in false doctrine; God will not accept excuses.

Jesus Spoke of the Two Classifications

It is wonderful, indeed, to study the wise in this chapter, but how terrible it is to look at the foolish! Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me (Matthew 25:34-36). This is what the wise are doing.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying [Notice: It’s the righteous; the foolish are not righteous in the eyes of God], Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me (Matthew 25:37-40).

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand [These are the foolish now.], Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal (Matthew 25:41-46). What a lesson!

I don’t believe there’s another chapter in the Bible that lines up the two classifications in a greater way in the light of God. Spend much time in this chapter in Matthew, for there are many, many lessons to be learned.

Who does God, not man, call foolish? Not man, but who does God call wise? It’s the wise who will make the Rapture, the wise who will be members of the bridal company, the wise who will escape the Tribulation Period and get out of here. Although they are wise in the ways of God, wise in what God has said, wise in walking with God, even they won’t recognize all the good they have done. The wise in this chapter didn’t realize they had fed the Lord, clothed Him, and visited Him in prison; they had just worked and done the will of God. Whatever their hands found to do they had done.

Wise children of God don’t know all they do; sometimes they let the enemy discourage them and make them think they’re not worth much, but they’re worth a lot if they are wise in the Lord. They’re valuable in the eyes of God, so valuable that the Lord wants to keep them with Him in Heaven as the eternal ages roll.

The Foolish Seek Fortunetellers

Some people always want to know what their destiny is. Many are willing to pay large sums of money to a reader/advisor they think can tell them their destiny, their tomorrows. Some go to fortunetellers and have no more sense than to believe that the grounds left in the bottom of the cup predict the future. Isn’t that an idiot for you? In fact it’s two idiots, one idiot full of the devil, looking into the cup and telling the other idiot about his or her destiny. Lord have mercy!

The Bible tells your destiny; it’s not found through coffee grounds or tea leaves. Your destiny is in the Bible if you’re wise; your destiny is with the Lord and you are wise enough to say, “Lord, I want you to be the master of my destiny; I give it freely over to you. It’s in your hands as long as I’m in this body.” But if you’re unwise, hell is waiting.

Turn over your destiny into the hands of God, and He will take you the paths He wants you to go, use you as He wants to use you. I’m glad that I gave that choice over to the Lord and said, “Lord, it’s all yours, any decision, any paths, any way that you want to take me, I’ll go those paths. Any valleys…I’ll walk those valleys and carry your Gospel wherever you want me to take it. I’ll never say no to you, Lord.”

Yes, I was the master of my destiny at one time, but I’m not the master of it anymore. The Master who walks my seas of life is the one who charts my course daily, night and day. Is He the Master of your destiny; have you dethroned self? I’m glad that one day I dethroned self and turned my destiny over to Jesus. I will accept whatever He says, be obedient to do His will, to follow the paths of life that He has set out for me.

Is the Devil the Master of Your Destiny?

If you have self in the driver’s seat, you are the master of your destiny—unless you’ve turned your life over to the devil and he has become the master of your destiny.

Even if you are not devil possessed, just unwise and not using the Word of God, not following the paths of God, the devil has become master of your destiny. You were master of your destiny at one time and could have made God your choice, but by being unwise you turned your destiny over to the devil.

The only way you can have help is to realize you don’t have to leave your destiny in the devil’s hands. You can take your life out of the devil’s hands and put it into God’s hands; you have a right to do it.

Many Christians are the masters of their lives because they know that they can get by with it and they don’t feel the need of letting the Lord be the Master of their destiny; they want to go their way.

The disciples had a difficult time accepting all that Jesus brought and all that He taught, but they decided one day that they would let Him be the Master of their destinies. The destinies of many of them were to die for His sake. However, they didn’t take their destiny away from Him, they let Him stay on the throne of their hearts, let Him be Master of their walk, their destiny. It’s wonderful when people will do that!

The destiny of the foolish is grim; hell is waiting to swallow them up. They think they have control over their lives, but they don’t. When you give over to the devil, sell out to him, he takes over. Leading you on the paths he wants, he seeks to add his leeches to your mind and soul, for then he really is master of your destiny. The devil knows where he is taking you; he’s on his way to one place, determined to get you into hell no matter how long it takes, no matter how many of his demons have to work on you day and night. The devil will not be satisfied until you arrive at his destination.

You who are wise and have turned your life over to the Lord know that He has become your everything, the Master of your destiny on His way with you to Heaven. The Lord will not stop until He arrives in Heaven with you. Isn’t that wonderful to think about!

The Word of God Holds Your Destiny

What is your destiny? To find out your destiny, just go to the Word of God. If you let the devil chart your course, plan your destination, you’re in trouble. However, if you let the Lord chart your course, He will do anything and everything that needs to be done to defeat every devil in your pathway and give you power to trample devils underfoot so that you can make it through to Heaven. No one can rob you of Heaven if the Lord is the Master of your destiny, but you must let Him continue daily to be the Master.

Again, what is your destination? Heaven or hell? Many people do not realize how unwise, how foolish they are; and because the devil has deceived them their destination is hell. The devil is directing many people, is the master of their destiny and they know it not. They’re so foolish that they don’t even know they have turned themselves over to the devil so he has become the master of their lives.

The Lord said you can’t serve two masters; you have only one master, either the devil or the Lord. No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (Matthew 6:24).

How awful for the devil to chart your course! Is the devil planning the events of your life or is God planning them? It’s a foolish person who will allow that evil, destructive devil to plan anything for his or her life. James 1:5, If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

The foolish are laughable in the eyes of God; in fact, He tells them He will laugh at them one day. Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh (Proverbs 1:24-26).

The Lord says the foolish are worthless, laughable. Everything about them is false; they’re insensible, dull, deaf; they can’t even hear what the voice of the Lord is saying, can’t hear the voice of Calvary, the voice of the Resurrection. The foolish can’t hear the voice of the soon coming of the Lord, can’t hear the voice of Heaven inviting them to come home. They are foolish, foolish, foolish, the Lord is saying.

The Wise Will Win Souls

Daniel 12:3, And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. Notice: These are the soul winners. The wise will win souls. The foolish don’t care about the lost; they think the wise are the dull, foolish ones. But the Lord says the foolish are dull, there’s no excitement about them in the eyes of God; they’re lifeless, insensible, worthless. However, it’s the wise who shall shine as the brightness of the firmament. That’s what the Lord thinks about the wise, they will shine brighter than all the diamonds, all the gems in the world. The wise will shine brighter than the gates of pearl and the streets of gold in Heaven.

Matthew 10:16, Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Wise ones, I send you among the foolish, and vengeance is mine; I will repay. Be wise to the ways of the foolish and don’t give over, don’t endorse their ways. Be wise as a serpent, harmless as a dove, and stay out of the reach of the foolish. Don’t let them use any power or influence over you. That serpent is going to stay out of reach because he notices that which is a danger to him at once and moves. That’s what the Lord is telling the child of God to do: Move, get away from that foolish person.

If you have to live with a foolish person, don’t let that one tear you down, use you, destroy you, or contaminate you in any way. Use the power, the love, and the greatness of God and feel no condemnation.

Matthew 24:45, Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? The Lord has raised us up to confirm His greatness here on Earth. You, as a child of God, are to use the things of Him just like angelic beings from Heaven come down and use the possessions of the Lord to fight battles and to deliver. He has put great trust in us; we’re His faithful servants, and it’s wonderful that we can be faithful to Him!

Luke 10:21, In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. Those the world calls wise look down on real Christians, but if they ever wake up, they’ll have to climb up to where the Christians are. I’ve never seen one sinner who didn’t have to climb to get on God’s highway of righteousness and holiness; they all have to climb. They thought they were superior, but they were inferior and too foolish, too insensible to know it.

God Wishes Some Had Never Been Born

When you’re filled with egotism, God can’t use you. God doesn’t choose egotists; He can’t use that kind. God can only use you when you know that He is God and that you are made out of the dust of the earth, hopeless and helpless without Him. You must know that you can do all things through Christ, but that you can do nothing without Him. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13). Christ Jesus is your waymaker, your life, your light, and you don’t have to worry about the night.

We don’t have to worry about this night that’s on the earth. Think of the foolish ones who are in the dark and can’t find their way. Many young people, discontented, running to and fro, can’t find their way today, don’t know what they want to be. They get mixed up in all kinds of causes that have no profit for the Lord; their lives are not counting at all. They would have been better off had they never been born. Isn’t it pitiful for God to look upon people and wish they had never been born!

Preacher, I don’t believe God does that.

Yes, He does. When He sees a person headed straight for hell and there’s nothing He can do to keep that one from being totally destroyed for all eternity, He wishes they had never been born. He regrets He gave them the breath of life, regrets that He ever gave them a soul that’s going to be destroyed in hell as the endless ages roll. My Lord and my God!

Many Are Careless with Their Lives

Romans 1:14, I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise. Paul said he was a debtor to do his best to help the foolish, a debtor to be a blessing to the wise. Paul tried to open the eyes of the foolish and turn them from darkness to light.

Jesus sought to bring everyone He could out of the night and into the light, into the mind of His Father. We’re to do the same thing, to bring people out of the jungles of darkness and night, to rescue them from the clutches of the devil and change their destinies before it’s too late. Since the foolish are going to hell, not Heaven, we must work patiently to do everything we can to change them.

How foolish people are who won’t strive daily to keep all spots and wrinkles out! How foolish they are not to serve the Lord with their whole heart! Many Christians are careless with their lives, not knowing when they close their eyes whether they may never wake up in this life again.

With any sin in your life, you’ll wake up in hell, no matter how sure you were that you were going to Heaven. Many people who thought they were going to Heaven are in hell today; the devil had deceived them. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness (II Thessalonians 2:11,12). When people will not accept the truth, the Lord sends strong delusion and allows them to believe a lie and be damned. They won’t accept the truth, so He leaves them in the night.

The Darkness Is Deceiving

If you don’t accept the truth you’re in darkness whether you know it or not. If you don’t accept God’s truth, don’t abide by the truth, don’t walk in the truth, you’re in the night and your destination is hell. You don’t have to acknowledge you’re on the way to hell to be going there; the Bible plainly tells you that. Many people are deceived, and many are in hell today no longer deceived, but there’s nothing they can do about it. It’s terrible! Suddenly you’re no longer in deceit, no longer in that darkness of not knowing, but it’s too late. Suddenly that old foolish spirit of the devil leaves you and you’re in hell with the devil to laugh at you, make fun of you for all eternity; there’s no escape. You went there because of your foolish heart, your foolish doings, your foolish spirit and your foolish mind, regardless that the Lord offered you everything you needed to make you new and to keep you new.

It isn’t enough just to get saved; you have to stay saved. It isn’t enough to get sin out of your heart; you have to keep it out. It isn’t enough to come out of the night; you have to stay out of the night. Many, not staying out of the night, are walking in the night and saying they’re with the Lord. Nevertheless, the Lord is not the Master of their destiny, for they’ve turned themselves over to the devil; and together with the devil, they are the masters of their destiny in hell. Sin cannot enter Heaven.

When the true Word of God is preached today, there are many foolish people in this world, church members included, who won’t accept thus saith the Lord. There are ministers who won’t preach the truth for fear of losing members of their congregation.

I’m not responsible for what you do with the truth, but I am responsible to deliver it to you in the purity of God without it being mixed with my or anyone else’s opinions. I preach thus saith the Lord, and if you don’t measure up to what thus saith the Lord, then you are a foolish person, foolish in the eyes of God, dull and deaf.

You don’t have to be deaf to what God is saying, but have you made yourself deaf through your own disobedience? Have you destroyed the hearing God gave you to hear the voice of the Lord, to hear the truth? The Lord gives everyone an ear who wants to hear His truth, and how tragic to deliberately turn a deaf ear to God’s truth because it makes one feel guilty, spoils some of the happiness.

I’m not going to think about that; I’m not going to listen to what God says in His Word. What a foolish person you are! When you don’t listen to the Word, you’ve turned your destiny over to the devil. Now he can take you to the destination he wants. The devil doesn’t pay for that ride; it seems so free to you, but what a hidden price! The ride that the wise take has been paid for; Jesus paid the whole price for redemption and made it available to all who would accept the intelligence of God and the plan of redemption. It’s a valuable ride, an expensive ride, but free to all who will be wise through the Holy Scriptures.

A wise God makes people wise. The devil is foolish; he proved it by being such a foolish angel in Heaven that the Lord had to cast him out. Do you want to be like that foolish devil, is that what you want? How terrible for people to follow after him!

They Thought They Were Wise

The Bible states in Romans 1:22, Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools [in the eyes of God]. People justify all kinds of sinful actions today to convince themselves that they are all right: I don’t believe this is a sin; I don’t believe that is a sin. In our society today there isn’t such a thing as sin—to hear most people tell it. They think you’re ignorant, unlearned if you believe otherwise. It’s natural to do your own thing, do the best you can, and of course your destination is to be Heaven. But how foolish people are to believe such a lie and damn their own soul. It would be awful to believe a lie and be robbed of a hand, an eye, an arm or a leg, but to be robbed of your soul, oh, my God! Not one smile will be in hell, not one joyful bit of laughter, not one beautiful flower, not one green tree, no birds to sing, no grassy knolls, no water.

The rich man died, the Bible tells us, And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame (Luke 16:23,24). The rich man wanted Lazarus to only dip his finger in water and bring him a little relief, but it was denied. There wasn’t one drop of water in hell.

Lazarus died and was in that place of paradise that the Jews called Abraham’s bosom. Lazarus had plenty of water, living water; he had plenty of everything in Heaven; but back here on Earth he had been starving to death. A poor wise man had been sent to a rich man to tell him the plan of redemption and the way to Heaven, but the rich man was so foolish he wouldn’t even feed the wise messenger. The wise messenger had to beg for crumbs. The rich man thought he was the one who was really special and that Lazarus was worthless. But God said that Lazarus was the valuable one who would be with Him for all eternity. This rich man was the worthless one who would never live in God’s Heaven; when he died he lifted up his eyes in hell.

The rich man was too ignorant to recognize the messenger of God. He finally realized how foolish he was, but it was too late. He knew he had five brothers who were just as foolish as he, and he wanted the Lord to send a missionary who was already in Heaven’s place of rest to preach to them, but his request wasn’t granted.

The Wise Are Born New

Oh, foolish, foolish people! Jesus came to give life, to give intelligence. But the devil had made mankind so ignorant, so foolish that it would take being made completely new before man could be acceptable to God. God had tried other ways. He tried the blood of animals; it didn’t work; it couldn’t take foolish people and make them wise. They would become wise for a day and then on tomorrow they were right back into that foolish, destructive way. Only by being made new could they be wise in the way that God speaks of being wise. Jesus had to come, divinity had to bring a supernatural, fantastic, miraculous birth; man and woman would have to be born new. What a plan was set into action by the One who had made man in the first place!

God got down in the dirt, in the dust to make the first man, and then causing a deep sleep to come upon that man, He took a very small part from him and made a beautiful woman. But now the fine work of God turned into foolishness because man chose the paths of the devil for his destiny. Man chose hell without knowing all that he was choosing, all he was agreeing to.

Adam and Eve tried fig-leaf religion. They made aprons of fig leaves to cover their nakedness, but still they were naked in the eyes of God. So then in the Garden there had to be a death, had to be shedding of blood before man and woman could be covered. God killed an animal, took the skin and covered them; but it didn’t hide their nakedness from God. No, it would take the blood of Jesus to hide our nakedness, the blood of Jesus to clothe us in righteousness and make us brand-new so that we could be as wise as God had made man in the beginning.

God didn’t make dummies, didn’t make a foolish man and woman. They were wise in the ways of God, knew the way of the Lord, knew the greatness of God. Adam and Eve were intelligent, so much so that God would come down and walk and talk with them. But when Adam and Eve became foolish like the devil himself, they could no longer talk to God.

Foolish people can’t talk to God today. They can talk to the walls and make all kinds of promises and pretend they’re talking to God, but it’s the wise who really talk to God, the wise boys and girls, the wise men and women. It takes intelligence to carry on conversations daily with divinity. When we are made new creatures in Christ Jesus, suddenly we’re not foolish anymore. That foolish mind is gone, replaced with a wise mind like God had given man and woman in the first place. Suddenly that new creation can talk and communicate with the Lord, and how marvelous, how great indeed!

Oh, what a great miracle is the miracle of redemption, the miracle of salvation! But look at the foolish people who have cast it aside and substituted darkness instead. The foolish think all they need to do is shake the preacher’s hand, have church membership, be baptized in water and all their sins are washed away. You don’t have to have the blood of Jesus, oh, no, the foolish say. They have substituted their denomination, their church for blood salvation; the blood is not their authority. Any church without blood authority is no church of the Lord; it doesn’t belong to God; it belongs to the devil. Hear me! That’s plain talk, but it’s the God truth.

Who Will Your Master Be?

God doesn’t go into part ownership with the devil, not with any possessions, including people. You either belong to God today or you belong to the devil. There’s not a little part of you that belongs to God and a little part of you that belongs to the devil. God doesn’t divide His property. If you let the devil put his sign of ownership on you, then the Lord backs away and stakes no claim to you. You have free choice to decide who will be the master of your destiny; you have that power.

Every boy and girl come to the place in life, the moment when they are the masters of their own destiny. Which road will they take? Which way will they go, to the left or to the right?

Many people are so foolish that they never turn themselves completely over to God. They go to church and say they are serving God, but they’re not; they’re foolish. Their talk is foolish; they give over to fussing, clamoring and all that goes with foolishness. They blow up, carry on, and God has no part nor lot in it—that’s a foolish person.

If your life is not clean and pure before God today, if you’re not walking hand-in-hand with that nail-riven hand, you’re a foolish person and your destination will be hell. But if you’re wise, living pure and clean before God, your destination is Heaven. The Lord will see to it that you get there; nothing can keep you out. All the foolish people in the world could gather against you and they wouldn’t be able to keep you out of Heaven; they can’t keep one soul out of Heaven, and I’m glad it’s like that.

Face the Truth

People face reality who abide in the truth, live in the truth. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6). God is a God of reality. He’s not something we imagine in our minds; He’s real, the real Creator, the real God.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools (Romans 1:22). Many people professing themselves to be wise today have degraded themselves in all kinds of sins. Others have a form of godliness, yet they’ve denied the power of God. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away (II Timothy 3:2-5). The people the Bible is describing are foolish in the eyes of God, and Heaven will never be for them. Heaven is for the wise of God.

The only way to Heaven is the path of truth, and if you vary from truth, you must shape up in a hurry and get back on that path of truth or your destination will be hell; there are no detours. The devil will put up detour signs and try to make you think you’ll be all right, others have gone this way and made it. But where did they make it? Not to Heaven. Why do you think we have this Bible? Why do you think God looks over humanity night and day and never sleeps? Why do you think God spends more time helping people on Earth than He spends in Heaven if there isn’t a real, burning hell?

The foolish and the wise…hug this Bible to your heart and listen as the Bible tells you what is wise and what is foolish. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting (Galatians 6:7,8). Five virgins were wise and five were foolish. Be not deceived, the Rapture is just out there. If you don’t have the oil in your lamp you’re going to be left in the darkness of the Tribulation Period, for Jesus is coming after those who are without spot or wrinkle.

It can’t be done; I can’t live like that!

If you can’t live holy, you won’t make the Rapture.

Elijah Was Wise

Two holy men, Enoch and Elijah, were taken to Heaven alive. When the Rapture comes, it will not be anything new after all; God has proved He can take people from Earth to Heaven alive, and they don’t have to go the way of the grave.

The sons of the prophets, who didn’t believe the Lord took Elijah all the way to Heaven, searched for his body three days and nights. Elisha told them not to go. Elisha had no intention of wandering around on those hillsides and climbing mountains to call, Elijah! Elijah! The devil said to the sons of the prophets, He’s over there; you know he’s over there. The devil kept them searching three days and nights, but Elijah was gone. Elisha knew Elijah was gone; he had seen him as he went, and he was wise enough to believe what he saw.

Are you a wise person today? Is there anything in your life that would keep you out of Heaven right now? You’re not promised a deathbed to repent on. Suddenly your heart may stop beating, or, remember, you could go to sleep and simply never wake up again in this life. You’ll wake up in eternity according to how you’ve lived, either wisely or foolishly. Decide what you want your destination to be.

The Bible tells the destination of the wise who choose Jesus to be their Master. Mastered by the hand of Jesus, you will have all power to protect you; all the greatness of Heaven will be for you. What is your destination today, what is it right now? Is there anything in your heart that’s not right? Be honest; face the truth. Either you’re wise and completely free from all sin, or you’re foolish in the eyes of God. Not one sin can get into Heaven, and that’s the truth.

You’re not going to be able to play church in this late hour. The Lord is doing all He can to reach every person on planet Earth who will receive the truth. But He will push those out of the way who hinder the Gospel, who hinder the work of God in the body of Christ. He’ll push them out of the way and let them be. When the Lord pushes you out and says you are worthless, He pushes you out of His plan of redemption, out of His plan of Heaven. My Lord and my God!

Go on deceiving yourself if you want to be one of these foolish ones the Bible talks about. Go on deceiving yourself, thinking no matter what you do, you’ll still get into Heaven. Go ahead and do the things the Lord said you can’t do; your destination will be what you choose: eternal death, eternal night, eternal darkness, eternal despair. But you can be one of the wise who accept Calvary and are wise to carry Calvary’s light and never let it grow dim. Let there be no spots or wrinkles, nothing to dim the glorious light of Calvary that can light up every path you have to travel, light up every dark night brighter than the noonday sun. Delight in the light of God.

Oh, foolish ones, imagine what it would be like to have no more light, no sun to ever come up again, no moon or stars to shine—just darkness. Wouldn’t that be a cruel thing to wake up to? How terrible to be in darkness the rest of this life, total darkness, not to have light of any kind, no light of God’s Word, no light of God’s blessings, no light of the voice of the Lord, no love, no peace, no happiness!

God promised much to the wise, but He made promises to the unwise, the foolish, too. He told them, The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God (Psalm 9:17).

Remember the five who were wise and five who were foolish. With no oil in their lamps, the five foolish were cast into darkness. But the five wise had the oil of the Holy Spirit and they went into the marriage supper of the Lamb.

The Wise Will Pray the Sinners’ Prayer

If you have been foolish, it’s not too late to change. From your heart pray this sinners’ prayer and let the Lord be the Master of your destiny from now on: Oh, God, save my soul; forgive me of my sins. I’m sorry that I sinned against you, but I have come home and I’m going to serve you, Lord, the rest of my life. Please, God, I don’t want to go to hell! I know Jesus died for me and I will live for Him, and I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all my sins, all my sins! Come on in, Jesus! Come on in!

If you meant that prayer, now you can say, Hallelujah, He has come! Hallelujah, He is mine! Hallelujah, I have the Savior!

The Healing Power Is Flowing

You who are sick and afflicted, or you who have a little one who is sick, get ready for God to heal. I’m not a healer; I’m His believer.

Lord, this is your servant. In obedience to you, and faith in my Lord, I bring the sick and afflicted to you for healing, those with cancer, diabetes, heart, lung and kidney trouble, HIV/AIDS, and in the name of Jesus I know it will be done. From your supernatural gift of miracles and your supernatural gifts of healing, in the name of your Son, Jesus, and the power of the Holy Ghost it comes. Heal! in the holy name of the Lord. Heal! in the mighty, mighty name of Jesus. Heal! in thy great name, oh, Lord.

And the healing power is flowing. Don’t you feel Him; don’t you feel His presence? That power will linger in your bones, in your flesh to get you well. Jesus said, Only believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Write and tell me what happened to you. I love to rejoice with people when they receive from the Lord and put their destiny into His hands. I pray that your destiny will always be that of the wise.
