Every child of God must have the Lord’s holy anointing in this last and final hour; but just what is the anointing of God, and why is it so important? Why is Heaven so concerned about it, and why do so few people have it when it’s freely given? These and many other questions will be answered for you in this profound message from God.

Jesus came to Earth as the perfect man, but even He needed the anointing of God. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord (Luke 4:18,19). Jesus showed us how to use God’s divine anointing, divine righteousness and divine holiness. He showed us how to walk with God like Adam and Eve did in Eden before they sinned and how to find the divine will of God for our lives.

We Must Take the Gospel to the World

I am born to preach and to win the lost at any cost. That’s God’s will for my life, and that calling burns within my heart; but I couldn’t preach without God’s anointings, and I take a fresh anointing for every message. I preach for souls, and I don’t want to be on this Earth for one more minute when I can no longer do that. I have to have souls, and no one could pay me to stop winning them. I never asked God to make me rich in this world, only in His gifts, His power, His love and His faith so I can win multitudes for Him.

Jesus was our example, and we must now take His place and carry the Gospel to the world. As Luke 4:18 says, we have to help heal brokenhearted and bruised people; and there are so many of them in the world today. We have to tell people about God’s miracles and healings, and we must preach the Lord’s message of deliverance to the captives. I’m trying to reach every person I can with the message that the great anointing of God can bring all people out.

This hour is the acceptable year of the Lord—Jubilee—for all children of God. Under the Old Testament Law, every fiftieth year was the year of Jubilee—a time when all slaves were freed and everybody’s debts were made void by the Spirit of God. And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family (Leviticus 25:10). What a year of freedom it was; but through the blood of Jesus, those who are born again and serving God can have Jubilee all the time.

God Brought Me Out

When God took my precious wife, Angel, home, I would have never made it without the anointing of God. I loved her more than I loved myself, and I didn’t see how I could live without her. She had given me so much love; but when she died, that love was gone. I’d cry out to God, “I can’t live without love! Jesus, love me!” I would have gladly died, but I knew I had to live to fulfill my divine mission and to bring in the harvest.

That was the deepest valley I have ever been in, and only God’s grace could have put me back together again. The Lord was so patient with me; and He would speak again and again and say, “I am the Lord who walketh with thee.” Those words would give me strength.

During that time, God made Himself so real to me. He took me back into my life and showed me my journey with Angel so I could understand His plan. Angel was really anointed for God’s work, and she had so many talents that she did more work than she had body for; but the Lord told me that she hadn’t died because of working too hard. He told me that the shadow of death had been at our beautiful wedding, that He had taken her at the exact moment He had planned and that her death would bring more souls into the Kingdom than if He had left her with me.

I knew my life depended on believing everything God had told me. I had always bowed to the will of God from the hour He had saved my soul, and this time would be no different. When I gave my life to Him, I said, “It’s all yours, Lord, and I’ll never take any of it back.”

The Anointing Is Power

Jesus brought us the anointing to grow and prosper like a tree planted by the river. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper (Psalm 1:3). If you’re not prospering spiritually, physically or financially, you have to get into the divine will of God and give your life completely to Him. You have to give to the Lord in tithes and offerings with the humility of Jesus, and then God’s promise of supply will be yours. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

You can only have this supply through the anointing, and God’s anointing only comes through the power of the Holy Ghost. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you (Acts 1:8). The anointing not only comes through that power, it is power; but many people have misunderstood and misrepresented the power of God. His power isn’t shaking, quaking and making a lot of noise. Those things can be the result of the power, but the power of the anointing performs the works of God. Jesus used that power when He was on Earth, and so must we.

John the Baptist knew about this power even before Jesus started His ministry. He said, I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire (Matthew 3:11). God sent Jesus to us so we could have this power. He brought with Him the divine blood, the anointing and all the divinity we need—all of the favor, grace and power of God. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:18,19).

You must have blood power, blood anointings and blood strength. All of that comes with the anointing, and it’s within your reach; but you must have a holy heart before you can have the holy hands you need to reach for it. You have to live free from all sin to be able to reach this power, saith the Lord. You can’t possibly have power over the devil to trample him underfoot with any sin in your heart.

The Bible tells us, He that committeth sin is of the devil (I John 3:8). A sinner can’t be of God. The first Adam was perfect in all of his ways until he fell into sin; but thank God that when the Second Adam came, He remained perfect. The devil thought he could cause Jesus to fall, but he couldn’t; and Satan will fail with many of us, too, because we live free from sin all the time. God is offering you all of His power that you will use, but you have to be a perfect man or perfect woman, saith the Lord.

The Seven Spirits of God

God let me know that His anointings contain the seven Spirits of God. So few people know what those Spirits are, but John tells us about them in the book of Revelation. And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth (Revelation 5:6). The Lord gave John the revelation on many things, including this end-time hour.

The first Spirit of God is divine love, and there is no other love that can compare to it. That love is stronger than all the powers of the devil. It contains all the light of Heaven, all the divine promises and the whole heart of God. That love carried divine blood to Calvary and then shed it to redeem all mankind, and it’s the only love that could have done that.

The divine blood is so powerful that just one drop can cleanse all sin from the heart of every person on Earth if people will just yield to the Lord. When people will confess their sins and recognize the divine blood, their sins will vanish forever and never be remembered against them again. He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea (Micah 7:19).

People must accept the divine blood so they can have the Lord’s divine nature. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (II Peter 1:4).

Divine Joy

The second Spirit of God is divine joy, and you can’t have the anointings of God or His strength without that joy. For the joy of the LORD is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). I live in the strength of Heaven’s joy because I have taken God’s great anointings. I don’t rely on people for my joy; so if I get any from them, it’s just a bonus. The Lord tells you to rejoice in Him no matter what’s going on around you. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you (Matthew 5:11,12).

The Lord has an anointing of joy and gladness for each one of His children when the valleys are deep and the mountains are high, and I carry those anointings all the time. Jesus came to destroy depression and give you strength if you’ll just believe. The Lord wants to give you revelations on His divine power and strength; but if you don’t seek Him with your whole heart, you’ll come up lacking.

Strength for the Journey

In I Kings 19:4-8, the Bible tells the story of Elijah going forty days and nights in the strength of just two meals. He could only do that because those meals were cooked by an angel, and the ingredients came straight from Heaven. The divine anointings are given the same way—they have all the ingredients we need to give us the strength and love we must have.

Some of you get depressed when you think people don’t like you, but I don’t let that bother me. I just wrap up in God’s blanket of love, and it makes me feel so cozy. The Lord warned us to beware of any man whom everybody speaks well of. Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets (Luke 6:26).

The disciples in the Early Church didn’t worry about what others said; they just asked the Lord to give them more of His grace and power. And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness (Acts 4:29-31).

The apostles had this anointing in the beginning of the Church, and they rejoiced because they could take Jesus’ place and be persecuted for His name’s sake. When they [the authorities] had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name (Acts 5:40,41).

Divine Peace

Divine peace is the third Spirit of God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). The Lord gives me peace even when the storms of life are raging, but some of you are always afraid that you’re going to be defeated. You walk the floor wondering what you’re going to do because you’re not anointed.

One time, Jesus and the disciples were on board a ship in the middle of a horrible storm; and the disciples were scared to death. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish (Mark 4:37,38)? Of course, Jesus cared. He loves His children with an unending love, but the disciples were not anointed at that time to believe in His love.

You must have the anointing before you can believe God for everything you need. The Bible says that you’ll always come up lacking when you doubt. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord (James 1:6,7). I make no room for doubt. If God said it, I believe it; and that settles it. I seal all doors against the devil; and as long as you live in the truth, he can’t do anything to cloud your paths.

Divine Longsuffering

The fourth Spirit of God is longsuffering or patience. Some of us ask for patience, but we want it our own way and in our own time. You’re in no shape to receive patience with that attitude; and, of course, you don’t get it. Mama used to tell me that when she prayed for patience, she could expect a big load of tribulations to come her way; but the Bible said it would be that way. But we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience (Romans 5:3). Some of you won’t pray for patience because you’re afraid of the tribulations; but if you’ll trust God to be with you, you’ll be fine. You’ll come through every trial with more patience and more of the seven Spirits of God.

The Bible says, In your patience possess ye your souls (Luke 21:19). Not only do you possess your soul in patience, but you can have all the promises of God. Every promise has a condition, and you must meet each condition with patience. But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).

You may think that you’ve been waiting on the Lord for something for a long time, but have you been waiting patiently in His waiting room? If you’re in your own impatient waiting room, you’re thinking, doing and believing the wrong things. You’re not in the right place when you’re always asking yourself, “Why doesn’t God move?” You have to move into the right waiting room where you’ll find the Holy Spirit and hear Him say, “You’re in the right place. Stay here with divine patience, and you’ll mount up with wings like the eagle.”

The Armor of God

To properly wait on God, you have to clothe yourself in His divine armor. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17).

Some of you haven’t carefully studied each piece of that armor. You put on your clothes each day before you leave the house, but do you put on God’s armor? The Lord has put it within your reach; but if you don’t have His great anointing, you won’t reach for all of it even though you need it so much. God has given you each piece of His armor to protect you against the fiery darts of the devil every day.

When studying the armor, you must be aware that the helmet of salvation is the mind of Christ; and His was a perfect mind. When Jesus became a man, He had a human mind; but He took on divine ingredients for that mind, and you can do that, too. Peter told us that we can add whatever we need. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity (II Peter 1:5-7).

Are You Lacking?

We have to constantly examine ourselves in the Lord. Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates (II Corinthians 13:5)? If there is anything lacking in you, the Holy Spirit will check you; but don’t get discouraged because now you know that you can add whatever it is.

The rich, young ruler asked the Lord what he could do to inherit eternal life; and the Lord answered, Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth. Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions (Mark 10:19-22).

That ruler loved money more than he loved God and His righteousness. I believe that the Lord wasn’t going to make that ruler a poor man; He just wanted him to sanctify the riches that he had and use them to help souls. Sadly, he probably left and never returned to Jesus or the Bible would have told us about it.

Divine Gentleness

Divine gentleness is the fifth Spirit of God, and every born-again Christian must have it. Without that gentleness, marriages fail. To have a good marriage, you have to have a gentle spirit—gentle in speaking and in giving to each other. When you love your mate like you love your own flesh, you will want to do things for them that make them happy; and then they’ll bless you back.

God planned for a holy marriage to include all seven Spirits of the Almighty, but they have been left out of so many marriages. If you claim to not be able to control yourself, then you must get truly saved. When God saved me, He gave me control as I gave over to Him through His anointings and through prayer, fasting and living in the Word.

When you’re saved, you’ll stop arguing and fighting. Psychiatrists and psychologists today claim that it’s healthy to fight, and that’s exactly what the devil wants you to do; but you can’t have the divine anointing if you argue. It takes two to argue; so if you have a mate who does that, don’t argue back. Then when the Rapture takes place, you will be the one who is taken. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left (Matthew 24:40,41).

Some people claim that they don’t argue but simply tell the truth. Well, what would you think if somebody told the whole truth about you? If I were going to broadcast your whole life today just as you have lived it, how much would you pay me not to do it? You’d probably empty your pockets and desperately pray, “Oh, God, forgive me and stop that preacher so I don’t die of shame.”

Do you always speak with gentleness? The Bible says our conversation is supposed to be the same as it is in Heaven. For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:20). Do you have heavenly conversations with your mate? I didn’t marry Angel to have somebody to fight with; I wanted a companion and a helpmate. I was lonely traveling for the Lord; and I wanted somebody who would love me, understand me and feel the burden of the work like I did. I waited on the Lord, and I found that person. You will always get the right one when you wait on God.

Divine Goodness

Divine goodness is the sixth Spirit of God. The Psalmist said, Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever (Psalm 23:6). God is good, and He wants to give us His goodness; but it can never follow you if you don’t have it. When you do have that goodness, God will see to it that you eat the good of the land and have all of the good of Heaven.

Paul had divine goodness when he said, For I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content (Philippians 4:11). I’ve found that same contentment with the Lord; but some of you don’t like to be alone, and you think you always have to be with other people. You’ll never have the seven Spirits of God or be anointed by the power of them as long as you have to be around others all the time. Some of you struggle in your Christian walk because you try to be with God and the world at the same time, but that’s more dangerous than walking a tightrope over the Grand Canyon. The Lord said, Study to be quiet (I Thessalonians 4:11). He also said, Be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10).

You can’t be quiet when you’re always surrounded by people who are telling you what they think. Many times, all of that talking turns into gossip; and things are said about others that shouldn’t be. Criticizing and judging others won’t work in the Kingdom of God. The Lord said you’d be judged by every idle word you speak. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment (Matthew 12:36). You must always watch your words.

Divine Faith

The final Spirit of God is divine faith—the kind of faith that was once delivered to the saints. Jude said, It was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1:3). I contended for that faith, but I had to pay a great price for it. It seemed that all hell came against me; but during that trying time, the Lord reminded me of Job who said, Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him (Job 13:15). For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth (Job 19:25).

I told the Lord I’d make any sacrifice to receive that great faith and would never count the cost. The many hours of prayer, the sleepless nights and the deep valleys didn’t matter. The saints had made it, and I knew I would make it because I desperately wanted that faith.

You have to get that faith, too, or you won’t receive all you need from the Lord. The Bible says, They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:18). God would be able to heal more people if they would just take His anointings from the seven Spirits of God and know without a doubt that they will get well. God can’t work with doubt.

Some people will get a miracle during one of my services through my faith and that of the congregation, but they won’t keep the miracle because they won’t keep the anointing. I had the divine anointing when I went to the edge of the grave at just twenty-three years of age. It looked like I would die for sure, and it was hard for me to pray because I was in so much pain. I thought my faith was gone because I was getting worse every day; and I’d ask the Lord, “Oh, God, if you won’t heal me, would you let the dawn come early?” The nights seemed like they would never end.

The dawn did come before midnight one night when Jesus Himself came to me and made me whole all over. I realized that my faith hadn’t left me after all, and I wanted to tell the world that I was going to live! I know now that if I had not gone into that valley, I would never have had the compassion I need to help the sick and afflicted and the unsaved. It changed my life completely when God told me that the valley had been His divine will. Jesus had suffered so much when He was here, and I had to go into my own Garden of Gethsemane to be what God needed me to be.

The Bride Must Receive God’s Fullness

All the divine anointings, power and knowledge you need are in the seven Spirits of God because those Spirits make up Heaven; but they can’t just be on the outside—they have to be deep inside your soul. Our minds are like small cups, and they can hold only a certain amount; but there’s no limit to the capacity of the soul. The soul can hold all of Heaven with all of its grace and love because it’s a part of God Himself. Our souls came from the very breath of God, and they’re dead without Him; but Jesus came to resurrect our dead souls and bring us newness of life that will last for eternity.

God is bending so low now to serve the Bride all she will accept from Heaven. Study the many types and shadows of the Bride in the Old Testament, and you’ll see that she was always being served the very best. The Bride must come into the living reality of her Lord because we are the Rapture generation.

Thus saith the Lord, the Rapture anointing is in the seven Spirits of God. With those anointings, the Bride will have all of God’s fullness. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace (John 1:16). “Grace for grace” means favor for favor, and it only comes through the anointing of God.

Paul wrote to the Ephesians, That ye might be filled with all the fulness of God (Ephesians 3:19). He also told them, Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13). Are you reaching for God’s fullness? If so, you won’t be fearful or burdened down in despair. You will know that you’re anointed and beautifully made by God. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

Don’t Lose the Anointing

David was beautifully made by the Lord; but later, he failed God and lost the anointing because of one woman. David had been a man after God’s own heart, but he gave over to lust and sold out to the devil. Just because you have the anointing of God doesn’t mean you can’t lose it. The Bible says, Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall (I Corinthians 10:12).

Samson had God’s holy anointing, and that’s what made him so great. He fought alone against a whole army, and they couldn’t defeat him. And when he [Samson] came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him…And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith (Judges 15:14,15). However, just as had happened with David, Samson failed because he gave over to lust.

When God chose Saul to be king over His people, he had everything in his favor; but later, he lost the seven Spirits of God and the anointing. At one time, Saul had been so humble; and he hid when the people were going to crown him king. He didn’t think he was worthy of such a calling; but the prophet Samuel said, On whom is all the desire of Israel? Is it not on thee, and on all thy father’s house? And Saul answered and said, Am not I a Benjamite, of the smallest of the tribes of Israel? and my family the least of all the families of the tribe of Benjamin? wherefore then speakest thou so to me (I Samuel 9:20,21)? Saul had no ego in the beginning; but later, he failed miserably.

Demas was so anointed at one time that he was Paul’s right-hand man in spreading the Gospel; but later, Paul wrote these sorrowful words, For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world (II Timothy 4:10). Demas had lost the anointing, but the Bible plainly says that anyone who loves the world doesn’t have the love of God inside. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him (I John 2:15).

You must love the Lord with the whole you before He can anoint you and bless you, and you have to feel the need of His anointings. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind (Matthew 22:37).

There’s Power in Jesus’ Name

The anointing is the will of God, and you must use it if you want to please God. It will give you authority from Heaven and power over the devil and all of his works. Jesus spoke with Heaven’s power when He was here. And they were astonished at his [Jesus’] doctrine: for his word was with power (Luke 4:32). At Jesus’ Word, devils had to flee. He told the disciples, In my name shall they cast out devils (Mark 16:17). He also said, Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).

That power came through the anointing, and that same power is still available today. In our overseas crusade services, the Lord will deliver thousands at a time from devil possession. I can’t get to that many people, but the Lord has taught me how to work with them through divinity. He tells me to have them start saying, “The blood, the blood, the blood.” When they do, the divine blood begins to work in their minds. As they continue to say it, the blood drops down into their souls; and the devils have to go.

I know that a human shout won’t cast out devils because the Lord has taught me how strong they are. Studying them was so awful that when I received the gift of discerning, I don’t think I could have lived over ninety days if the Lord hadn’t lifted some of the compassion I felt when I saw souls possessed with such horrible things. I tell devil-possessed people again and again, “If you could see the devils that bind your soul, you’d start screaming for your life!”

We also have to use this power over the devil for ourselves. When the devil came to torment Jesus in the wilderness, He spoke the Word three times to the devil saying, It is written (Luke 4:4); and the devil had to leave. The devil can’t stand before the Word. I use the Word and the name of Jesus to get rid of the devil when he comes to torment me, and you will have to do the same thing.

You can’t use the name of Jesus if you’re not anointed, and you can’t use it carelessly. When I say the name “Jesus,” I mean it from my innermost being; and the blind see, the deaf hear, the dumb speak and the crippled begin to walk. Even AIDS disappears through the name of Jesus because everything He brought was divine, and He showed us how that divinity would work in the life of a human being.

Jesus said we are to learn of Him. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:29,30). When you learn about Jesus, you’ll learn about divinity; and that will give you great liberty in Him.

You Must Have the Holy Ghost

When Jesus became a man, it was necessary for Him to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost before He started preaching; and then He went into the wilderness to fast for forty days to receive the anointing He would need. And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered (Matthew 3:16,17; 4:1,2).

In spite of that example, even so-called Pentecostal preachers today say that you don’t have to have the Holy Ghost to make the Rapture; but they’re going to find out very soon that they did need the Holy Ghost to get out of here.

The Holy Ghost is my teacher, and everything He teaches me comes from the Word. God told me that if there were ever any divine revelations or manifestations that I didn’t understand, I was to take them to the Bible. If they didn’t match the Word of God, it meant that it was the wrong spirit and that I was to get rid of it. He didn’t want me to take my questions to any other preacher, only to Him. I am so humbly grateful to the Lord for all He tells me and shows me, but it’s only possible through the power of the Holy Ghost.

There are many evidences of the Holy Ghost baptism, but the first evidence is the speaking with other tongues. That signifies that the Spirit has the whole you, but that’s not possible until He gets your tongue. When He takes over your tongue and uses it as His very own, it’s no longer you speaking. The Bible says that on the Day of Pentecost, they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4).

The disciples had nothing to do with those tongues; it was the Holy Ghost who spoke through them in many different languages. And they [the people] were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born (Acts 2:7,8)? The disciples were all Galilean Jews, so it had to be the gift of God; and with that gift came power from On High.

The Disciples Received Divine Power

Prior to that time, Jesus had given the disciples the power of the anointing. Then he [Jesus] called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick (Luke 9:1,2). Jesus even sent the seventy forth with that power. The Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come (Luke 10:1). Then Jesus told them, Heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you (Luke 10:9).

Jesus sent the disciples on a divine mission; but in most Pentecostal churches today, there are no miracles and healings. There has been such a falling away from the truth, but the Bible said it would happen. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition (II Thessalonians 2:3). Most Christians no longer walk, talk or act like Jesus. They may appear to be Christians in the eyes of the world, but they can’t fool God. People either live free from sin or they don’t. The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:20).

After Jesus ascended to Heaven, the disciples weren’t going to be able to use that great power they had been given anymore until they went to the Upper Room and received a personal baptism in the Holy Ghost. Every child of God should have that Holy Ghost power.

Peter Used Holy Ghost Power

The Bible shows us that Peter and John had that power after Pentecost. They went up to the temple to pray one day, and a man who was over forty years old sat at the gate; and he had never walked. That man had to beg for a living, but God heals even the poorest of people; and Peter said to the man, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. Peter used the anointed name of Jesus—the name that has all the power and help you’ll ever need.

And he [Peter] took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God (Acts 3:4-8). Although the man had never walked, he didn’t have to learn. He immediately jumped up and shouted, and 5000 came to the Lord through that one miracle. When people see miracles, it brings so many of them to God; and we see it happen again and again in our overseas crusades.

All Divinity Is Ours

Jesus brought so much of the mighty divinity of Heaven to Earth that He was able to give us eternal life. If you’re really born again, you have that eternal life; but you can’t receive eternal life by justifying yourself. People only use self-justification when they don’t have the anointing because the Holy Spirit is the only one who can really justify you.

Only with Heaven’s justification and the anointing will you find the power of righteousness and holiness; and without those things, you’ll never see the face of God. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).

The divine wisdom and knowledge of God are in His anointing; and the Bible says, If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him (James 1:5). God will never rebuke you for asking Him for more of His wisdom and knowledge.

To have the anointings of God, you have to have the eyes and ears of God. Jesus said seven times in the book of Revelation, He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches (Revelation 2:7,11,17,29; 3:6,13,22). When you carry the anointings of God, you must not only listen to what the Spirit is saying but trust every word He says. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:5,6). You’ll never be able to use those two verses without the anointing of God.

Use Divinity

You must have a holy heart that is full of divinity so you can live, talk, walk and sleep in divinity; and you must become the hand of God. You must have divinity working within you because only according to the power that worketh within you can the Holy Ghost do the unthinkable and change you when Christ comes for His Bride. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us (Ephesians 3:20). The Lord has let me know that it will take more power to go to Heaven by air than it will to go by the way of the grave.

Every man has an appointment with death. It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment (Hebrews 9:27); but the raptured Bride will not die. The ones who are alive when Jesus comes will be changed in a twinkling of an eye. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (I Corinthians 15:51,52).

The Power of the Word

The anointing will bring you into the presence of God every day. If you live in His holiness and divinity, you will live in the Word and reason with God. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD (Isaiah 1:18). This is not an hour to reason with people or your own theories; we have to reason only with God through His Word. It will cleanse you and give you strength because every word in it has all of Heaven’s power behind it, and that Word will endure forever. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matthew 24:35). You will have to depend on God and His Word in this last hour. Know His Word, live in it and let it multiply in your heart and destroy everything around you that’s unlike God.

The Early Church used the Word through the blood and the power of the Holy Ghost, and it increased and prevailed. So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed (Acts 19:20). The Word is increasing daily now and prevailing everywhere we go. In one recent crusade, God told me that 12,000 had been healed in moments of time and that thousands were delivered from devil possession.

The devil really rages in some of the countries we go to, and I’ve seen the sky so filled with devils that it looked like a tornado. Every person who travels with me must be prayed up because anyone who isn’t can easily be taken over by the devil’s power. Human power can’t stand against him.

Devils are dangerous to deal with, and you can only cast them out if you know what you’re doing. You have to hate devils with all the power of God that’s in you, and there must be plenty of it there. Then you must have the divine power and authority to cast them out; and you can only get that through much prayer, fasting and living in the word of God. Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21). You must consistently practice these three things for the rest of the journey so the power of God can go into action in your life.

Pray through the Anointing

Your prayers can’t be worthless prayers. If you don’t believe God hears you, ask Him to help your unbelief until you get to the place where you can say to the Father as Jesus did, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always (John 11:41,42). I know without a doubt that God always hears me no matter what time it is. Whenever He knocks on my door, I’m always ready to open it and say, “Come in, Jesus, and dine with me. Teach me more about you.”

Jesus is at the gate of every heart, so let Him in and always put Him first. Praise Him, delight in Him and behold His divine blood power and the anointing of God. That anointing is so great that it makes your body the temple of the Holy Ghost. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own (I Corinthians 6:19)?

When Christ really lives in you, His anointing will be there. People may say that Christ lives in them, but does He live there with liberty and freedom? Are they obedient in all, and do they have divine love and grace? Paul said, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me (Galatians 2:20). The Bible also says that God walks inside of us. God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people (II Corinthians 6:16). Just think about the holiness and righteousness of God being in your very flesh and His power and anointing walking within you to never leave you nor forsake you.

Accept God’s Promises

Do you accept God’s promises for yourself? God told the Israelites that the land of Canaan was theirs, but they would have to claim it. Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be (Deuteronomy 11:24).

Caleb claimed the promise of God, and he received a mountain. Caleb said to Joshua, Thou knowest the thing that the LORD said unto Moses the man of God concerning me and thee in Kadeshbarnea. And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children’s forever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God. Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day (Joshua 14:6,9,12).

The other ten spies didn’t claim God’s promise because they were too busy looking at the giants in the land of Canaan. Have you ever been guilty of looking only at the impossibilities or what the devil is doing? Jesus said, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23). You have to not only believe but continue to believe. Our souls must live by faith in the same way that our bodies live on food.

The Bible says the anointing breaks all yokes. And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing (Isaiah 10:27). If you have any yokes today, the power and the anointing of God can break them all.

Believe and Receive

Now it’s miracle time, saith the Lord. God has given me authority over your diseases, but you have to join with me and believe. The reason so many are healed in my overseas crusade services is because they haven’t known the truth, and God allows me to use all of my faith to help them. However, when you know the truth, you’re supposed to use the faith that God has given you to match the faith that God has given me without any doubt. I never doubt one word that God says, and only His true sons and daughters can have the anointing to do that.

It isn’t enough to have faith or to know the scriptures; you have to be anointed to use them. The Bible is full of only words unless you have the power and the presence of God to make them leap to life. Then you don’t have to be afraid of devil, man or anything else in this last hour.

The Lord uses angels to hold back the powers of darkness for His children, and God’s perfect love casts out all fear. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear (I John 4:18). Don’t be afraid of anything that may be causing weakness in your body; it all has to go because God has power over everything. His anointing can destroy every disease, break every yoke and renew your youth.

Take this anointing in the name of Jesus, and you can be made whole all over just like I was so many years ago; and that miracle still lives in me today. Take the anointing to break all of your yokes— physical, spiritual and financial—that’s the Lord’s will for you. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth (III John 1:2).

Lord, I bring those who are sick or have any deadly disease to you. You’ve healed whole families of AIDS, and you’ll heal the people of it today. You’ll heal them of arthritis and diabetes, and you’ll re-create their hearts and lungs. You’ll take paralysis out of people’s bodies and make lame children to walk. We’ve seen it done so many times, Lord, and we thank you for the miracles you have given through this Jesus ministry. Heal! in the blood-name of Jesus. Heal! in the all-powerful, blood-name. The healing power is flowing. Accept it and be made well.

Come to Jesus

When Jesus was here, He healed sinners; but then He told them to go and sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee (John 5:14). Sinner, Backslider, it’s time to come to Jesus. You can be set free if you’ll give yourself to the Lord, so lift your hands right now and say this prayer: Oh, God, save my soul. I’m so sorry that I sinned against you. I do believe you are divine and that you were born of the Virgin Mary. I believe you came with divine blood and that you went to Calvary and gave it so I could be saved. You are my sin-bearer and sickness-bearer, and I believe I am saved from all sin through the blood that stained the Old Rugged Cross. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in! If you really gave yourself to Him and you believe you belong to Him, say, Hallelujah! I belong to Jesus. He is my Master and King! He’s on the throne of my heart, and He will be there for the rest of my life!

Write and let me know what happened to you today; I will rejoice with you. Give God all of the praise for He is worthy. To keep the anointing, we must praise the Lord much and say as the Psalmist did, Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits (Psalm 103:2). I’ll see you in the Rapture.
