For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil (I John 3:8). Why did Jesus come?—to tear down the strongholds of the devil. How did He do it?—with the whole armor of God. No other person or prophet could have accomplished this but the Son of God, and the Lord let me know that it’s now time for His people to stand as tall as Jesus stood when He was here on Earth. Every one of us must stand using the whole armor of God just like Jesus did. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds (II Corinthians 10:4). It’s time for us to get busy, knowing that we can pull down all the strongholds of the devil through that powerful, blood-name of Jesus; and everything we need is in His Word.

In a mighty, divine visitation in 1954, God carefully taught me that any vision or manifestation in my services that I didn’t understand I was to take to the Word. If it didn’t stand the Word test, it was not of God but of the devil.

Many people are led astray by false angels of the devil thinking they’re angels of God, so you must learn the difference between them. They all appear as a beautiful light when you first see them, but only through the Holy Spirit of God can you tell the difference. Only the Lord could have taught me this. He told me that I had been to man’s school but that the Holy Ghost would then have to take me over and teach me from above.

The Lord spent thousands of hours with me, teaching me the kingdom of Satan and showing me his strategies, techniques and tactics. His ways haven’t changed since he first deceived Adam and Eve in the Garden, but people are so gullible that they keep falling for them. People must walk with their hands in the Lord’s hands or the devil will fool and deceive them. Jesus came as the perfect Adam and uncovered the works of the devil. The Bible tells us that the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14).

The Mind of Christ

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (II Corinthians 10:5). The devil can create chaos within us through our imaginations if we let him. He will battle our minds through things that aren’t real or true and through thoughts that contradict the knowledge of God. Our imaginations can destroy us; but if we’ll dwell on good things, they can help bring us into God’s reality.

This scripture also says that we’re to bring every thought into the obedience of Christ. If we’ll stay rooted in the Word and try every spirit, we can capture every disobedient thought that the devil shoots at us. We can stop them with the blood-Word of God, and they’ll have no effect on us.

At one time, I preached a series of sermons on The Mind of Christ; and they’re now in a book. In it you will find 141 ingredients the Lord gave me that made up Christ’s mind when He was here on Earth. The Lord told me to tell people that when they hold that book, they are actually holding the mind of Jesus. That book means so much to me that when I pick it up, the anointing on it makes me want to weep.

Never before had I preached a series of sermons from the Word of God after which the Lord wanted me to give a special exam; but that’s what He called for after that series, and it’s included in the book. You need to take that test and find out how much of the mind of Christ you have. If you don’t have all the ingredients, you must add them. The Bible says we can do it. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge (II Peter 1:5). We all can have the mind of Christ. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ (I Corinthians 2:16).

If you don’t have the fullness of the mind of Christ in this last hour, the enemy will confuse you and worry you unnecessarily. At times, he will even make you think that the Lord has forgotten you and that He doesn’t care. But Jesus does care. Stop and think about Calvary, and you’ll realize what the Lord has done for you; and you’ll know that He loves you. After Calvary, how can anyone doubt His love, His Word or anything else about Him? The Bible says, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

Be Not Afraid

The Bible echoes with be not afraid, and we don’t have to fear the devil. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love (I John 4:18). The devil works through fear, but the Lord works through love. You must see the difference. Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27). Choose love instead of fear.

The gospel of Mark records the story of Jesus on board a ship with the disciples during a terrible storm, but He wasn’t afraid; He was asleep. It looked like their boat was going down, and the disciples ran over to wake Jesus crying, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him (Mark 4:38-41)? Of course the Lord cared about the disciples, and He cares about us, too. He needs us to live and work for Him.

Meet the Devil Head-On

In the fourth chapter of Luke, the devil came after Jesus. And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered. And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread. And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence: For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season (Luke 4:1-13).

Be prepared for the devils to come after you when you’re on a long fast. You can feel them troubling you, but I can see them as well. They’ll swarm around me when I’m on a long fast, and I can see them just like I see people. I know them, and I hate them; but I’m not afraid of them. To me, they’re just like flies; and I swat them with the Word of God. Learn to swat the devil! Don’t let him rub your nose in the sand because you can have victory over him through Jesus Christ.

Devils Run from the Blood

Learn to use the divine blood that’s in your soul. I use the blood for every miracle and every deliverance, and I use it against the powers of the devil. I can look into souls and see those devils, but I stand there with absolutely no fear. I know those devils have to come out if the person really wants them out, and God uses me to destroy that stronghold.

Devil possession is a stronghold that the devil has on a person. He is able to operate both their mind and their body, and that’s a critical condition to be in. That person will never be free without God’s help; but Jesus came to set the captives free, and that’s what we’re to do, too. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised (Luke 4:18).

Greater Works through the Holy Ghost

The Lord said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (John 14:12). Notice it says we’ll do greater works, and that’s exactly what we’re doing today. I reach more people in a week’s time through television, radio and the printed page than Christ did during His entire time on Earth. More people will receive the Holy Ghost in just one of my overseas services than received the Holy Ghost during the first 33 years of the Early Church. In one particular service, the Lord numbered over 60,000 who had received the real baptism of the Holy Ghost.

The Lord said this time would come, and now it’s here. And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Acts 2:17-21).

Have No Doubt

You must get rid of every doubt! I don’t believe in doubt; I believe in the faith-Book, the Bible; and there’s no doubt in that Book. Study the Word! It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4).

I get hungry for the Word just like I get hungry for food. When you’re fasting, don’t sit around and think about what you’d like to eat; decide you have something to eat that others know not of. That’s what Jesus told the disciples after ministering to the Samaritan woman at the well. They had returned with food for Jesus saying, Master, eat. But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work (John 4:31-34).

Jesus was dining on the Word and serving it to a lowly Samaritan woman. And the Word got her attention because she asked Him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans (John 4:9). This shows that Jesus came to be the Savior for everybody.

Let God Move

Jesus is your Lord and your Savior, and He is ready to move for you. If you have a great need, He’s there to tear down those strongholds that have hindered you for years. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions (Psalm 107:20). He sent His Word, and love and faith entered their hearts. Hope became divine hope, and divine hope lifts you up into divine faith; and then the rest of the route to Glory is easy. God is a God of faith; and when you speak in divine faith rather than human faith, He hears every word!

We are to have victory over all the strongholds of the devil. Jesus said when He was here, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven (Luke 10:18). He saw the devil cast out of Heaven. Lucifer is the one who said, I will ascend above the clouds and become like the Most High. But God said not so: How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit (Isaiah 14:12-15).

God Wants to Use You

When Jesus was in the wilderness, He knew that the devil had no power over Him; but because Jesus had been fasting for forty days, the devil thought he could get to Him while He was physically weak. He thought he could make Jesus bow before him and prove Himself. But remember that you don’t ever have to prove anything to the devil. When you stoop that low, the devil is getting the best of you. Some people will say, If I could see someone’s leg grow, I’d believe. That’s a horrible statement to make. If they can’t believe God will heal a headache, then they won’t believe that He can re-create a leg even if they see it happen. The devil makes idiots, but God makes intelligent beings.

The Lord almost gave up His fight against the strongholds of the devil in Noah’s day, but then He found one man who would listen; and He waited 120 years for the ark to be built. God will do anything to destroy the works of the devil. The Lord made careful plans for the Noah family, and that involved just eight souls! But we’re a mighty army in His sight, and He wants to use each and every one of us. He wants us to be living, walking epistles, heralding the news that Jesus is coming soon, and the soul that sinneth shall die!

God hates the devil, and He’s ready to give you all that Heaven affords in this final hour for you to tear down his works. Don’t listen to him, and don’t listen to dead preachers. Listen only to Lord God Almighty and decide that you’re going to give the devil many fits daily. Come out of bed every morning ready to bulldoze the devil under. Don’t give him a chance!

See Jesus, the Healer

I’ve learned to give the devil a knockout blow before he has a chance to get to me. I give it to him with the Word of God and the blood. Start shouting, The blood, the blood, the blood; and he’ll run! But every time some people get a little pain, they let the devil tell them they’re going to die. Some people think that they’ve been dying with a deadly disease for years, yet they’ve never had a touch of one. They’re listening to the wrong voice. Job said, For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me (Job 3:25). Job’s great fear was that he would lose his children, so he sanctified them daily.

Some people fear sickness; and when they get a report of cancer or some other deadly disease from their doctor, they deny it. But that’s not the way to receive deliverance. You have to tear down the strongholds of the devil by saying, The Lord is going to deliver me! Realize that the disease comes from the devil and that it didn’t come because you had done something wrong; the devil is the one doing everything wrong! The devil will afflict you, but always remember that the Lord gets no glory out of sicknesses and diseases; He gets glory when we’re delivered, and He loves to deliver His people! When you’re set completely free, you’ll have a wonderful testimony for the Lord.

At one time, I was greatly afflicted; but God didn’t get any glory out of my suffering and complaining. It seemed as though I couldn’t live, yet I couldn’t die. But the Lord got the glory the night He came and healed me all over, and He’s been getting the glory ever since. I couldn’t understand why God wouldn’t heal me, but I learned later that I had to go through that valley so that I would know how to bring others out of their valleys. I would have to tear down the strongholds that the devil had over people making them think that it was God’s will for them to die. I’ve helped to bring thousands out of that bondage.

Let the Lord use you to do all that He wants you to do so we can get out of here. There’s just one flight out; God said that if we would obey Him and do His will, He would save us from the awful hour of destruction. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world (Revelation 3:10). Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven (Matthew 7:21).

You have to obey the Lord in everything, and that includes receiving the Holy Ghost. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him (Acts 5:32).

Use the Word

There is much to learn from Jesus’ experience in the wilderness, so study it. Every time Jesus said, It is written, the devil was rendered helpless; and that’s all you have to say. Never debate with the devil; just tell him, God said it, and there’s not a thing you can do about it.

I don’t debate with people, either; I get them out of my office in a hurry and send them on their way. I don’t have to debate the Word of God with anyone. It’s there in the Bible, and they can read it and choose to believe it or not. The Bible says, Yea, let God be true, but every man a liar (Romans 3:4).

We should never question God’s power or His desire to work for us. We can learn that from the story of the man who brought his son to the disciples to be healed. Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit; And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not. He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me. And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming. And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child. And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us (Mark 9:17-22). The Lord wasn’t going to stand for the word if, and He shot it right back at him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief (Mark 9:23,24). That says it all!

Wear the Whole Armor of God

Jesus had the truth, and you can always shoot down the devil with the truth. And you can stop all of his darts with the shield of faith. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17).

Where’s your armor? You dress yourself every morning; but some of you don’t cover your soul with the whole armor of God, and you go out without protection. You’re supposed to be a soldier of the cross, but a soldier without his armor won’t survive long in a battle. The Holy Spirit is constantly after us to be ready!

The Jesus whom I preach is the same Jesus of whom Paul was talking about when he said, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me (Galatians 2:20); and many of you can say the same thing today. Paul was taught by the Holy Ghost, and his favorite phrase was, I am ready. For I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus (Acts 21:13). I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also (Romans 1:15). For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand (II Timothy 4:6).

I’ve adopted Paul’s phrase, and I’m always ready! I don’t have to get ready for the devil; I sleep ready, and I wake up ready to meet the devil head-on and to give him the first blow with the truth. The devil can’t stand the truth. It affects him just like it would to pour hot, scalding water on human flesh; the devil takes off.

Unspeakable Joy

Either make the devil miserable, or he’ll make you miserable. God took me out of misery when He saved me, and He brought me into joy unspeakable. Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory (I Peter 1:8).

Jesus came and brought the new and living way. It’s an abundant life, and I’m going to live it. You can act like a pauper and look unhappy going to Heaven if you want to, but true children of God are supposed to be the happiest people on Earth. If somebody asks you where you’re going, say, I’m on my way to Heaven! It’s almost time to go home, and God’s sufficient grace is abounding for us. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me (II Corinthians 12:9).

Take a Lesson from Job

Some people are forever checking their bank account to see how much money they have. But don’t you know that your savings can disappear with one little sickness or one fire? That’s what happened to Job. Everything he had was destroyed; but he said, Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him (Job 13:15). However, Job’s wife didn’t have the same victory. Then said his wife unto him [Job], Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die (Job 2:9). That’s devil-talk, and it causes people to act so arrogant toward God.

Job responded, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil (Job 2:10)? Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly (Job 1:21,22).

Do you praise God only when things are going well; or do you also praise Him when the storm is raging, and it looks like everything is against you? Paul said, I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day (II Timothy 1:12). Paul always stayed on top of the water, not on muddy bottom. Stay with Jesus and His great miracle power.

Sink or Swim

In the prophet Elisha’s day, the iron did swim. As one of Elisha’s students was felling a beam, the ax head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed (II Kings 6:5). According to the laws of nature, that ax head couldn’t float; and it sank to the bottom. But the man of God cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim. Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it (II Kings 6:6,7).

Some people sink to the muddy bottom so quickly and then cry, What am I going to do? You’re going to trust God and move a little closer to Him. Go on a long fast if necessary and shake Heaven while you’re here on Earth. Let the devil know that you’re going to be all right. Don’t ever let him talk you out of Heaven’s insurance policy; it’s your security.

Some people don’t carry good, heavenly insurance, but I stay paid up in every way. I’ll do anything God wants done. I just say, Lord, you’ll have to help me; and I know He will. The Lord said, Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:5,6).

Think God’s Way

Some people insist on leaning to their own understanding. If they forget someone’s name, the devil immediately tries to make them think they’re getting senile. If that’s being senile, then most people were born that way. Christ could have lived for a thousand years here on Earth and never gotten senile, so stay with the Lord and keep the mind of Christ. Don’t let the devil talk to you and scare you to death; you’re liable to become senile if you continue to listen to him. He wants to rule you with a rod of fear. But Jesus said, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith (Matthew 8:26)?

Little faith always refers to human faith. If you have any faith at all with God, even if it’s just the size of a grain of mustard seed, the Lord said you could move mountains. And Jesus said unto them…If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you (Matthew 17:20). In other words, you can tear down the strongholds of the devil. The Lord gives you the power to do it.

Power to Cast Out Devils

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth (Matthew 28:18). Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).

Jesus gave power to the twelve disciples and told them to go forth to heal the sick and cast out devils. Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where (Luke 9:1,2,6). Before Jesus went away, He let the disciples see that His power would work through them!

The Pharisees and the Sadducees said that Jesus had a devil in Him because He was casting out devils. But He let them know that one devil can’t cast out another devil. Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw. And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David? But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand (Matthew 12:22-26)?

Don’t Listen to the Devil

We have the Word as our weapon, but some of you allow the devil to make a mess out of your mind. You won’t let him possess your body or your soul, but you let him control your mind; and he convinces you that you can’t get your mind off of the things he wants you to think about. But you can defeat him by thinking about the divine blood.

If somebody offered you a million dollars if you’d control your mind, you’d forget about everything but getting that money. You can do whatever you set your mind to; it all depends on how much effort you put forth. You are the one who allows yourself to become helpless before the devil. The Lord warned, Your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour (I Peter 5:8). It’s sad when people won’t fight the devil but instead give up when they see him coming.

Some people will allow the devil to convince them to commit suicide, but anyone who won’t put any more value on their life than that will jump right into the devil’s hell. Hear me! You’ll go to hell for murder, and suicide is murder. Others will threaten suicide just to get sympathy; and to them I feel like saying, Go ahead and get it over with. Many times you can sober people with the truth. Never let people or devils outtalk you.

The devil may tell you that no one loves you, but why do you care whether others love you or not? People can turn and hate you just as quickly as they can love you. I don’t depend on what other people think about me. I’m a holy person who’s living for the Lord; and if you can’t love a holy person then you wouldn’t weigh anything on God’s scales.

It’s been said that the Apostle Paul’s speech was contemptible, but that’s just because people didn’t want the truth. For his [Paul’s] letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible (II Corinthians 10:10).

God’s Plan for Moses

Moses tore down the strongholds of the devil, but it took the Lord forty years to make Moses into the man he needed to be. As a little child floating down the river in a basket, God had a plan for his life; and God has a plan for your life, too.

Most people would have given up on Moses, saying it was too dangerous to try to keep him alive. His parents could have been killed for hiding him when he was first born, but they had faith in God. They went forth with no fear to fulfill the plan for Moses that they held in their hands. By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment (Hebrews 11:23).

God used Moses in great ways; but he was still human, and he made excuses for some of his weaknesses that caused him a lot of trouble. And Moses said unto the Lord, O my LORD, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man’s mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD? Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say. And he said, O my Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send. And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart. And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do (Exodus 4:10-15).

The Lord tried to show Moses that He would heal him and give him the words to say to Pharaoh; but Moses insisted on needing help, which brought his brother and sister into the picture. Neither one of them was right with God nor had they been chosen for the task. Moses was to have done God’s work alone; all the miracles were to have come through him, and the Holy Ghost would have spoken through him. He had already been to the burning bush, and he had it all. His excuses cost him a lot, but thank God that the Lord could still use him to deliver the Israelites.

All Is Well

We can’t make excuses in this hour; we must be just like Jesus and go in His name to set the captives free. Everybody has a place in God’s great plan. We hold the destinies of others in our hands, and we have to hold them with love, grace, inspiration, consecration and dedication. We must hold them without one doubt, without criticism or condemnation. People have been knocked down too many times; and we’re supposed to lift them up with the Word of God and tell them that, with the Lord, everything will be all right.

The Shunammite woman said that all was well even though her son had died. She didn’t prepare for a funeral; she went in search of the man of God. And she called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come again. And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him to day? it is neither new moon, nor sabbath. And she said, It shall be well (II Kings 4:22,23). Her husband insisted that it wasn’t the proper time to go to the man of God, but it’s always the proper time to reach for God.

This woman was in a hurry, and the man of God saw her coming. He said to Gehazi his servant, Behold, yonder is that Shunammite: Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well (II Kings 4:25,26). She just brushed Gehazi aside like he was nothing.

When she got to the man of God, she humbly fell down at his feet and told him about her son. And when Elisha was come into the house, behold, the child was dead, and laid upon his bed. He went in therefore, and shut the door upon them twain, and prayed unto the LORD. And he went up, and lay upon the child, and put his mouth upon his mouth, and his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands: and he stretched himself upon the child; and the flesh of the child waxed warm. Then he returned, and walked in the house to and fro; and went up, and stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes (II Kings 4:32-35). The Lord raised her son from the dead, and all was well!

Jesus Is Our Victory

You need to decide that all is well while you’re tearing down the strongholds of the devil. He will hate you for it, but you must make him fear you instead of you fearing him. Jesus was never afraid of the devil. He had conquering power, and He is our victory, too. He is our faith, our love, our walk, our talk, our mind; He is our all in all! And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power (Colossians 2:10).

People must know that we are believers through mighty signs, wonders and miracles. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18). This is the promise of the Lord—that we will tear down the strongholds of the devil by casting out devils and rendering them helpless. The devils have to go just like they did when Jesus was here.

Legion Defeated

In the Bible we read of a man called Legion who was possessed with at least two thousand devils, and they gave him the strength to break any chains that bound him. His mind was so completely taken over that he refused to wear clothes or even bathe. He was a madman whom everyone feared, and those devils loved it because they were in control. But then one day Jesus came.

But when he [Legion] saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not. For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country. Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea. And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done. And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid (Mark 5:6-15).

See the Devil for What He Is

Those devils took off after Jesus, but He wasn’t afraid. He faced those devils, and they knew they had to come out. When you don’t allow the devil to bluff you, he has to bow because you’ve taken his power away. You can always destroy anything false with the naked truth. See the devil for what he really is. God has the lake of fire and the bottomless pit waiting for the devil, so why be afraid of him?

I face many people in other countries who are bound with fear. They’re ruled by witchcraft, voodoo and other darknesses of the devil through paralyzing fear. But the Lord uses me to let the people know that I’m not afraid of those devils. Wizards with thousands of devils in them come into my services to seek my power. They’ve watched me on television, and they want the power they see; but when they get there, it’s not what they thought. The power of the divine blood takes over and uncovers them.

A Deliverance Night

In one crusade service, the Lord marked three wizards for deliverance. The Lord brought them before me ahead of time and revealed to me that there would be one with 5000 devils, one with 7000 devils and one with 10,000 devils. When I walked out on the platform that night, all those devils were really affecting the people; they even affected the very air we were breathing. I didn’t understand it at first, but then the Lord immediately let me know what was taking place.

Those devils were there to destroy, but I took authority over them with the blood. I began to walk up and down the platform screaming, The blood, the blood, the blood! I was tearing down the strongholds of those devils, and I took the power right out of their hands through the blood. They were rendered helpless; and that cloud of destruction and fear lifted from the whole congregation, and the sunlight of God’s glory shined down. We had one mighty service that night as God completely delivered those three wizards.

The Lord taught me how to cast out devils by having people repeat, The blood, the blood, the blood! Even though many of the people may not really be born again through the divine blood, as they continue repeating after me, the blood renders the devils totally helpless. The blood falls from their minds into their souls, and they’re ready to give their hearts to God. It’s so simple, yet it’s one of the most unbelievable things I’ve ever witnessed. Only through the mind of Christ can I take it all in.

Let Go of the Past

The humility of God’s love toward us is overwhelming. He loves us with an everlasting love, but we must be willing to suffer for His name’s sake. The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee (Jeremiah 31:3). Jesus proved His love when He was here, and down through the years all the prophets and the apostles have suffered for His name’s sake.

There’s a price to pay to have God’s power, but one day it will all be over. The days of persecution will be gone forever, and our scars will fade away. The only scars in Heaven will be the nail prints in the Master’s hands and feet and the place where He was pierced in His side. The Lord is ready to take the scars of your past away now before you even get to Heaven. When the Lord forgives you of your sins, the past is wiped away like it never existed. Paul said, Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before (Philippians 3:13). The past isn’t worth remembering, but the devil wants you to leave the door open so he can keep bringing it back to you. That’s just the condemnation of men and devils. When you’re born new, God lets you know in the Holy Scriptures that your sins are gone forever. You’ll never be judged for those sins again because you’ve met your judgment at the Cross. I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more (Hebrews 10:16,17).

On the Move for God

This is the great, final hour! The power of God is falling, and we’re seeing miracles in abundance! God’s eyes are upon every child of God, and He needs to use us. He will do anything for us, and He proved it when He sacrificed Jesus. We must take on the whole armor of God now and count ourselves valuable to Him. Without God’s love, we’re nothing; but with His love we’re everything. We must tear down the strongholds of the devil through faith. Faith conquers fear, heals the sick, moves mountains and destroys the powers of the devil. We don’t have to bow to him in any way; we must make him run! The Bible says, Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). We have a great work to do, and the divine blood is the answer. We must go to the nations to deliver the captives so they can become great witnesses for the Lord.

In the beginning of the Church, the disciples depended on three things—the Word, the name Jesus and the Holy Ghost—and they worked! Yes, there were relatively few disciples, but with God it doesn’t matter. All God needs is one person because one person and God are always a majority, and don’t ever forget that! We’re supposed to have victory every day and every moment that we have left. Jesus came and brought the victory for us, and we must use it. Our tongues must be filled with the love and truth of God, and the truth in His Word will take us all the way. Jeremiah said it felt like fire in his bones. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones (Jeremiah 20:9).

We have it all in this last hour, and we must use it all. The Lord has brought His children together for this very hour. Lift up your hands and know that the Lord thy God is with you; He is on His throne of power and greatness, and nothing can defeat Him. The devil cannot stand in the presence of the Almighty.

Take the New and Living Way

You who are unsaved or have not been obeying God or doing all you can for the Lord, you had better get rid of those spirits. You must repent now while you have a chance to change your ways because the Lord is calling to you, and you’re neglecting souls. I can’t think of anything more heartbreaking to Heaven than to be responsible for souls being lost. Say this prayer with me:

Oh, God, I’m so sorry that I have failed and sinned against you. But I have come home, and I’m going to serve you the rest of my life. I believe in the blood of Jesus. I believe He died for me, and I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins! Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in, Jesus! I know there’s just one flight out, and I don’t want to be left. Please, God, help me! Please, God, be with me; and I know your grace is sufficient. Help me to use it, and make me just like Jesus!

Claim Your Miracle

Now, with Jesus in your heart, you can be free of all sicknesses and diseases. You’re a candidate for a miracle if you need one. You who have AIDS, HIV or need any kind of re-creation, God is doing all of that through this Jesus ministry. In one country, five lepers were completely made whole; and medical science hasn’t found the cure for leprosy. It’s great indeed what the Lord is doing! The Lord is ready; are you? Jesus came with healing in His wings for all of us. But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings (Malachi 4:2).

In the name of Jesus, Lord, the people are looking to you. I curse those diseases. Lord, you are the remedy for sin and sickness, our Sacrificial Lamb. Heal! in the blood name. Heal! in the all-powerful blood name.

Take this mighty anointing and watch yourself and your little ones get well. Then write and tell me about it. Always remember that you have to keep living free from sin or Heaven will never be yours.

Thus saith the Lord, I gave my servant this message for you; now use it. I need you to tear down the strongholds of the devil. I have used my people down through these many years to tear his strongholds down; and you can do it in this hour, saith the Lord. This is your hour of greatness. This is your hour of victory. This is your hour of deliverance, and the Lord is moving for you.

God bless you and keep you, and I hope to see you in the Rapture!
