Stand Still and See Your Miracle
by Ernest Angley
June 2011
So many people desperately need miracles today, but they don’t know how to receive them. They’re so busy worrying, fretting and running around in search of what they need that they don’t hear the Lord saying, “Stand still and see your miracle.” Let these words sink deep within your heart.
No matter what your problem is, you must stand still and see the glory of the Lord; and that glory will be your miracle. However, once you receive, God must get all the praise, the honor and the glory for it. Don’t be afraid, and don’t let the devil scare you. Fear doesn’t come from God; it comes from the devil. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (II Timothy 1:7). We can have a mind just like Jesus had—one without any fear.
Moses learned to stand still because he had faith in God, but it took the Lord forty years to make him into that person. Study Moses because God used him in great ways, and you need to let God use you, too.
Moses Was Born in Faith
When Moses was born, his parents risked their lives to keep him alive because at that time, Pharaoh had decreed that all the baby boys should be killed. And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive (Exodus 1:22).
Moses’ mother and father had divine faith, and they saw God’s mark upon their child; so they hid him away for three months. And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi. And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months. And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river’s brink (Exodus 2:1-3).
It took great faith for a mother to kiss her little son goodbye and send him down the Nile River not knowing whether she would ever see him again, but that little ark sent Moses on his journey to fulfilling the divine will of God. And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river’s side; and when she saw the ark among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it. And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, This is one of the Hebrews’ children…and he became her son. And she called his name Moses (Exodus 2:5,6,10).
The Lord directed that little ark to Pharaoh’s daughter who she fell in love with Moses and raised him as her very own. She didn’t care that he was Hebrew. But just think what Moses’ real mother must have gone through when she had to give up her son, and many times we too have to sacrifice so that God can make miracles. We have to sacrifice for God’s will to be done, and we have to sacrifice for lost souls.
Time for Deliverance
When Moses was finally ready, God used him to deliver the Israelites from Egyptian bondage. After the people had suffered for many years as Pharaoh’s slaves, God was going to set them free. The Lord worked many, many miracles through Moses, and each one lifted the people’s faith higher and higher.
Before leaving, the Lord gave the people favor with the Egyptians. The Bible says the Israelites spoiled them, but they didn’t take anything dishonestly. God knew the Israelites had slaved for years without receiving or being paid anything, so it was only right that they should have received some benefits from their labor. And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians (Exodus 12:36).
After God had sent many plagues upon the Egyptians, Pharaoh finally set the people free; and the Israelites were on their way out. The people thought they would be heading through the wilderness to the land of Canaan, but God didn’t lead them that way because He knew they would turn back. Instead, He took them to the Red Sea where there would be no way for them to get back.
Once they got to the Red Sea, the people had great fear because Pharaoh’s army was coming after them—every chariot, every horse and even Pharaoh himself. And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand. But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea (Exodus 14:8,9). The devil had really stirred up Pharaoh and his army.
The Israelites were afraid because they were not in place with God. When Moses first told them that they were going to leave Egypt, they were not ready or anointed like they should have been. The Israelites’ deliverance should have brought them freedom, peace, joy and gladness from Heaven; but it didn’t because they had been worshiping idols instead of serving God. Soon after leaving Egypt, they once again forgot God and all of His miracles; and they made themselves a golden calf, the same idol god that so many of the Egyptians had worshiped.
Never Forget God
Down through the ages, people have done the same thing. That was the accusation the prophet Daniel brought before Belshazzar through the handwriting on the wall. The God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified (Daniel 5:23). This is the way it is throughout the whole Earth now—people are living such degraded lives; and one day, we won’t see them anymore. The Lord is doing everything He can to show people His love, to warn them and to get the Gospel to them; but so many haven’t glorified God, and He’s going to cut off their breath in the near future. They don’t have much longer until, like Belshazzar, they will die and wake up in an eternal hell.
The Israelites were full of fear and doubt, and God can’t work with those things; He can only work with faith. But in spite of that, He was so good to the Israelites because even though they were in no shape to leave Egypt, He brought them out anyway. However, when they arrived at the Red Sea, they were so scared that the Lord couldn’t perform the last big miracle they needed, the one that would destroy Pharaoh’s army and make the people completely free. God wanted to give them the greatest day of their lives—salvation and deliverance from all idol gods and from the powers of the devil—but there they stood, helpless before Him. Then God moved on Moses to tell the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever (Exodus 14:13). The Lord wanted the Israelites to know that He would deliver them if they would just stand still.
How many times have you failed to stand still and wait upon the Lord? But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). I stand still to see God’s glory and to see Him move. During my overseas crusades, He performs thousands of mighty miracles for multitudes of people. In a recent African crusade, God performed over 12,000 miracles in just moments of time; God numbered them Himself.
God’s Protection
When the Israelites finally stood still, God began to move. And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them: And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night (Exodus 14:19,20). The cloud hid the Israelites, and the pillar of fire held the great Egyptian army back.
And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left (Exodus 14:21,22). The water was over eighty feet deep, but the Lord heaped it up like mountains to the left and to the right and made a dry-land highway right through the sea. Some of the people went right in, but others were still afraid. They all should have shouted and praised Jehovah God all the way across because the angel of the Lord went before them, and they had the cloud and the pillar of fire. The Israelites had it made, and they should have rejoiced and been in Canaan in eleven days; but that didn’t happen because they were too scared, and fear prevents people from receiving God’s miracles.
Love Casts Out Fear
When you’re bound with fear, you can’t use much faith. Yes, the Lord delivers people, but fear can only be cast out of a child of God when you give over to the blood that’s in your soul. There is no fear in your soul; it’s only in your mind. The Holy Spirit takes the blood and flows that blood-love into your mind; then the Bible declares that you’re free. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear (I John 4:18).
The Holy Spirit can flush your mind as many times as you need. It’s Heaven’s plan and Heaven’s freedom for you, and everything you need has been paid for. Keep in mind that the Israelites lived thousands of years before Calvary, but look how God made the way for them.
The Israelites’ journey through the Red Sea was a physical crossing, but many people today say it was only a spiritual crossing and that the waters didn’t actually separate. Do you believe man or God? The Lord said they went across on dry land, and I believe Him. But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore (Exodus 14:29,30).
The Egyptians had tried to follow the Israelites through the Red Sea, but the Lord closed the water back over them. The people watched as all of their enemies drowned but Pharaoh; he was the only one who lived. After thousands of years, the Lord has now allowed archaeologists to find wheels and other pieces of the Egyptian chariots to prove that the Israelites really did cross.
Stand on Faith Ground
God fights for His children. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace (Exodus 14:14). You don’t have to do anything but believe and obey, and the Lord will fight for you. When the Lord tells you to stand still, you have to do it; but you can’t stand in fear. You have to stand in Heaven’s faith and be rooted and grounded in God’s divine love or you’ll fail. That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).
You have to rise up in this hour and use Heaven’s faith, but you can’t use it unless you’re on Heaven’s ground. What is Heaven’s ground? First and foremost, it’s total obedience; but on that ground you’ll also find total humility, total grace, total hope, total peace and total joy. On Heaven’s ground, you will stand firm knowing that Jesus is the way-maker and seeing your miracle before you take it into your body. In this last hour, the Lord is letting you behold His glory. As you stand still, the miracle will begin to take place; and you will go into the glory cloud of the Lord. The strength of Heaven will flow into you so you can reach out for your miracle; then you’re on healing ground.
You have to believe to stand on divine faith ground; and on that ground, you won’t talk negative. You will talk positive and holy just like God, and you will reach out for the things of God without allowing your faith to waver. You will know without a doubt that everything will be all right, and you will know that you’re ready to meet the Lord if He would come right now. You will know that you’d be changed in a moment and in a twinkling of an eye.
You have to live free from sin to go in the Rapture and to be on Heaven’s holy ground. God told Moses, Put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground (Exodus 3:5). We can be on holy ground today, but we don’t have to take off our shoes. When we believe and are obedient, we will know that His grace is sufficient and that He will never fail us. My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness (II Corinthians 12:9).
Make No Room for Doubt
When the Lord brought the Israelites out of Egypt, He made a covenant with them saying, I am the LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26). The Psalmist told us that there wasn’t a weak one among them. He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes (Psalm 105:37). Just think, out of three or four million people, there wasn’t a weak one among them. Why?—because He [God] sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions (Psalm 107:20). God sent His Word—Jesus—and healed them all.
I believe that story; do you? Then why do you ever doubt what God can do? I carry divine faith in my heart, and there aren’t enough devils or demons to make me doubt God; but many people today are just like doubting Thomas.
Thomas walked and talked with Jesus, and he saw all the miracles Jesus performed. At one time, he had even received the Lord’s power and had used it to heal the sick; but then he doubted and pouted. He didn’t want to have anything more to do with Jesus. But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe (John 20:24,25).
For eight days after Jesus had been crucified, Thomas wouldn’t even meet with the disciples; and he wasn’t there when Jesus first appeared to them after His resurrection. Thomas didn’t go to the tomb, and he didn’t believe the stories about Jesus being alive; but those who were on Heaven’s ground did believe.
Stand on the Promises
Divine faith will enable you to stand up to receive the miracles you need because you’ll be on Heaven’s faith-ground of holiness and health. You’ll be standing on the promises of God; and when you claim those promises, they’re yours. The Lord promised so much to the Israelite people, but they came up short because they didn’t cling to His promises. To live for God outside Eden today, you have to live by and stand on His promises.
You have to agree with Heaven and decide that all of God’s promises are real and that God is not slack concerning one of them. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (II Peter 3:9). You have to decide that Jesus and the Holy Spirit never fail and that God the Father loves you with an everlasting love. You must know that He’s looking out for you and that you truly have nothing to fear and nothing to worry about.
Believe to See
There are people who say, “Oh, if I could just see this or that, I’d believe!” But faith is so simple that you don’t have to see big things before you can have big faith. You first have to have faith, and then you will see the big things. The Psalmist said, I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13). Instead of saying, “I have to see to believe,” he said, “I believe to see.”
I have always believed to see because I was raised in great miracle faith, and we saw astounding miracles take place in our home. Even as a sinner boy, I was rooted and grounded in divine faith. I knew what God said He would do, and I had no doubt that He would do it. I knew every word in the Holy Bible was true and that God would stand by it.
David believed to see, and that faith allowed the Lord to help him kill a bear and a lion with just a slingshot. And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father’s sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him (I Samuel 17:34,35). David was just a boy, but one boy and God make a majority.
When you have God, you don’t have anything to worry about. All the powers of Heaven are yours through the blood of Jesus, but some of you use such a little bit. The Lord said that you could move mountains with divine faith even just the size of a mustard seed. If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you (Matthew 17:20). You can move mountains of doubt, sickness, despair, depression and oppression. You can move mountains of demonic spirits and mental spirits; but you have to believe, and you have to keep on believing. Only then are all things possible. If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23).
Give God the Glory
When Jesus was on Earth, everyone who believed received. The Lord didn’t pass up one soul, no matter who it was. He healed all manner of sicknesses and diseases; and the Bible said, As many as touched him were made whole (Mark 6:56). When people touched Jesus with faith, the healing power flowed.
Jesus makes Himself just as available to us now as He did to people then. All we have to do is reach out and touch Him, and the healing power will flow; but we have to be on the faith-ground of obedience and consecration, and we have to be walking in God’s will. We must will for the Lord to do what He wants with us, and we must put Him first.
When people go to Calvary, they receive divine love which Jesus called “first love.” If you have received that love, are you using it? After more than seventy years, I still have my first love; and I still have my zeal for lost humanity. That zeal causes me to pray and seek God and to want to tell the world about the greatness of Jesus. He gave me that “go ye” when I was saved, and it has burned in my soul for all of these years. Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15). That’s a big request, but the Lord never tells us to do something that we can’t do.
I can’t stress enough how important it is to give God all the glory for what He does, but so many people don’t realize that or do it. When you know God has done something, you have to willingly give Him all the glory for it or the devil will get in and rob you of that miracle.
Jesus knew that He would never get all the glory while He was on Earth, but God must have it. If you ever keep any of God’s glory, He will frown on you. You won’t be able to stand on faith-ground to receive more from Heaven, and you may never get another touch from God.
When I was just twenty-three, God brought me back from the edge of the grave and saved my life. It looked like I was going to die for sure; but one night, Jesus came and made me whole all over. He’s kept me young for all of these years, and I give Him all the glory for it.
Keep Your Promises
I’m still in my youth when it comes to strength and doing the work of God, and I minister to thousands in my great miracle services. In one service, I remember ministering for seven hours. I had promised everybody who wanted the Holy Ghost that I would lay hands on them, but I had no idea that there would be thousands who would line up to receive. However, I never make a promise I don’t keep; and when the service finally ended, I don’t know how many thousands I had prayed for. I’d just touch people, and they would be slain in the power of God. The Lord has gifted me to call the good Holy Ghost down, and people were receiving the baptism of the Spirit all over the place. I was on Heaven’s ground, and I was in contact with the Lord without a doubt.
Don’t promise things that you won’t do. God keeps every one of His promises; and if you’re going to walk with God, you must keep your promises, too. Broken promises have been such a hindrance to Christians in winning souls; they have caused people to lose faith in God and His promises. God holds people responsible when they carry His name but fail to do the things they should. The Lord said He knows those who belong to Him. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine (John 10:14). The problem lies in the fact that many people are not truly His sheep.
Do You Know Jesus?
Mary Magdalene knew she belonged to Jesus. The Lord had cast seven devils out of her; and she was full of divine love, divine power and divine faith—she didn’t have one doubt. When Jesus spoke her name, she knew who He was. He didn’t have to show her the nail prints in His hands and feet or the place where the spear had pierced His side as He had done with Thomas. No, she knew Him just by His voice. Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master (John 20:16). All Jesus did was say, “Mary”; and she cried, “Oh, Master!”
Do you know the Lord’s voice? There’s no other voice like it on Earth. The closest thing to it is the voice of a real child of God, one who is living holy and has all the nine fruits of the Spirit being produced in his or her life. That kind of voice has power; and the devils can’t stand that power, that anointing or the authority that comes with them. Jesus said, In my name shall they cast out devils…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18). Through the power in Jesus’ name, we will cast out devils and use His healing powers to heal the sick; and we must give Him all the glory.
Stand with God
We have to stand in the will of God like Gideon’s three hundred did. He started out with 32,000 soldiers and was on his way to defeat the enemies of God. Gideon felt very confident, and he thought he had it made; but then the Lord said, Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me (Judges 7:2).
The Lord then instructed Gideon that all those who were fearful at heart should go back home, and 22,000 left. Gideon had only 10,000 soldiers left, but the Lord spoke and said there were still too many. So he [Gideon] brought down the people unto the water: and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink. And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water. And the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place (Judges 7:5-7).
The Lord was giving Gideon the truth a little bit at a time, and that method was new to him. When the Lord told him to take his soldiers down to the water and try them, some of them were careless. All but 300 forgot about watching for the enemy as they fell down with their faces to the water, and the enemy could have defeated all of them as they drank. But those who were alert and dipped up the water in their hands were on obedient ground, and they had the Gospel trumpet. They had the Gospel light in earthen vessels, and they were Gideon’s three hundred.
Gideon must have been standing on Heaven’s ground or he’d never have obeyed God, and he never would have won that battle. But Gideon knew and listened to the voice of God.
You must know the voice of God! It can sound like thunder and make it feel like the Earth is shaking, or it can be the still, small voice that came to Elijah in I Kings 19:12. The Lord told the Psalmist, Be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10). Do you do that? He tells us to stand still and behold His glory, to stand still and receive miracles.
When you stand still, you will have it made just as Gideon did. The Lord said that every man stood in his place. And they stood every man in his place round about the camp; and all the host ran, and cried, and fled (Judges 7:21). When you obey God, you won’t be defeated; and you can have any miracle you need.
Take God’s Way
Are you in your place today? Are you on healing ground? People will come to my services for prayer, but they have it all planned as to how God must work for them. They act just like Naaman, the leper. And Elisha sent a messenger unto him [Naaman], saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper. Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage (II Kings 5:10-12).
Naaman thought his way was the only way; and some people have that same spirit when they come before me in the healing line and say, “I don’t want to fall.” They’re referring to being overcome by the power of God and falling in the Spirit; and when people say that, I answer, “Then stand up; God didn’t say you had to fall.” The Lord is the One who slays people in the Spirit, not me; and many times, the Lord really knocks those kinds of people down with His power to let them know He’s God.
When the Lord started moving for people in that way in my services, I thought, “Lord, did I touch them that hard?” I began to experiment because I wanted to know. I’d hold my hand back about a foot, and down a person would go. I’d hold my hand back a couple of feet, and down another person would go. People could even be walking down the aisle; and when I’d lift my hand, they’d fall right in the aisle. Finally, I decided, “God, do it any way you want to; just do it!” If God wants you to go down, I don’t care how tall you are or how much you weigh, you’re going to hit the floor; so you might as well decide, “God, give me what I need any way you want to.”
Reason with God
When Jesus came to heal me that great night so many years ago, it didn’t matter to me how He did it. When He moved in, so much of His power came upon me that I couldn’t even stand up. That power shot through me like many bolts of electricity; and I’d never felt that kind of power in my whole life, not even when I had received the Holy Ghost. But it didn’t frighten me at all, and I have never forgotten that hour.
The Bible says, Come now, and let us reason together (Isaiah 1:18). So when that power shot into me like that, I reasoned that every disease in my body had to have died. I knew everything had to have come to normal, and that’s exactly what had happened.
Before that night, my faith had been really tried. I had suffered for so long and was facing death, and I couldn’t understand why God wouldn’t heal me. He had called me to preach at eighteen, saved me and filled me with the Holy Ghost; but then at twenty-three, it looked as if I was going to die—and God didn’t seem to be answering me. Instead, He let me wait on Heaven’s ground.
Thank God, I still had faith because the Lord had always moved for me before. When I would pray, He would always answer. I had no trouble getting my prayers through to Heaven; so when God finally did move, I was healed all over. Jesus stayed that night to tell me part of the future, so I knew I was going to live and preach the Gospel to the world!
The Bible declares that faith in God heals the sick. The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up (James 5:15). Even so-called Christians mock faith healing today; but the Lord is the healer, and He heals through faith. When people mock the miracles of God, they’re on their way to hell. They may think they’re being sophisticated and smart, but that kind of smartness has nothing to do with the knowledge of God. They’re living a lie.
Know the Truth
If you have the Holy Ghost living and dwelling on the inside of you, He will teach you and show you the truth. Jesus said, And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). He also said, But the Comforter [the Spirit of truth], which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (John 14:26).
As children, we were taught the truth; and we were taught never to lie. My mother couldn’t stand for her children to lie; so no matter how much it hurt, she always wanted the truth. She warned us many times that liars were some of the most dangerous people in the world because they would rob us of our character.
We were also taught the truth about sin, and I always knew the soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:4). Mom and Dad taught us that we could live free from sin, and I believed it. Even at two or three years of age, I remember knowing about Jesus and about sin.
When I was young, most churches taught that you had to be at least twelve years of age before you would be responsible for your sins; but that wasn’t true at all. It depends on how you’ve been taught and how much you know as to when you come into the knowledge of the truth. I was always given that knowledge and nothing but the truth concerning a soul.
The Truth about Water Baptism
Joining a church or being baptized in water doesn’t guarantee that a person knows the truth or is saved. When I was born new, I had to be the one to make the decision about being baptized in water; my parents couldn’t make that decision for me. However, many people believe that if they baptize their babies in water, their children will go to Heaven. No, that has nothing to do with it. If water could make a soul clean, then Jesus wouldn’t have needed to come.
The Bible doesn’t teach us to baptize babies; but you do need to dedicate your children unto the Lord saying, “Lord, I give my children to you. Protect them and keep them in good health all the days of their lives. I pray that they will always glorify your holy name.” For many years, people have been bringing their children to me to have them dedicated.
Water baptism is an answer of a clear conscience toward God, and babies already have that. You have to wait until children come of age, and then they’re supposed to be completely buried in the water because it signifies that they accept the death of Jesus Christ. When they’re brought up out of the water, it signifies that they believe in the resurrection of His body. People must understand and accept the power of Christ’s resurrection as the Bible says. Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection (Romans 6:3-5).
Jesus Is the Name
Are you in the place God made for you through His Son? Calvary paid for you to be in that place; and if you don’t accept Jesus and His sacrifice, you’ll never get to Heaven. Just because people talk about Heaven doesn’t mean they’ll go there. The Lord said, Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). There’s only one name that can save you no matter what people say, and that name is Jesus. He’s our healer, deliverer and soon-coming King! He’s our everything!
When you have the whole Christ, you have it all! If you don’t have Him, you must know that you can have Him and that your life won’t be complete until you do. No one has ever loved you like Jesus loves you, and no one has ever cared for you like He cares. You’ll never be a failure if you stay on Heaven’s ground, and Jesus brought everything you need to stay on that ground. It’s all so plain and simple that even a child can serve the Lord and go to Heaven.
If you see people who are really saved and born new worrying about not going to Heaven, you must realize that it’s just the devil tormenting them. They already have in their souls what they need to make it to Heaven, but they don’t realize it; and the devil is always there to taunt them. We’re to give the devil the Word of God just like Jesus did when He met the devil head-on in the wilderness in Matthew 4:1-10.
Don’t listen to devil-talk; listen to the voice of the Lord. I give the devil the Word, and it makes him leave. I use the name of Jesus to cast out devils, and I know they have to go. When I speak the name Jesus, I speak it with all the power of Heaven and all the grace of God. Jesus said, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth (Matthew 28:18). I’m connected with the power of Heaven, and I shout His praises and His glory.
You Can See the Glory
The truth is that all true miracles are divine miracles, and they come from the Lord. You must believe in them. When Lazarus’ sister Martha met Jesus, she said, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died (John 11:21). But Jesus replied, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God (John 11:40)?
Martha knew that her brother would rise again one day. I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day (John 11:24). But Jesus had never told her that her brother would die and be raised from the dead. When the Lord said, “If you’ll believe,” He meant that if Martha would believe at that moment, she wouldn’t have to wait for Resurrection Morn. You have to know that if you’ll believe, you’ll see the glory, too. You’ll see your miracle through faith before you even receive it, and that faith will bring the miracle right to you. Then when that power hits you, you will know without a doubt that you’re healed.
The great miracle God gave me still lives in me. It’s working within me to help me do the work of God, and it keeps me on Heaven’s ground so I can help others. The waters are now separating for us to take the Gospel to the nations through the power and the fire of the Holy Ghost, the blood of Jesus Christ and the signs of God. The Bible says, These signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18). God’s signs and wonders will follow believers.
We have to help the Lord make miracles. At Lazarus’ tomb, Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. But Martha answered, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days (John 11:39). But when the Lord told her to believe and see the glory, she accepted the truth. She didn’t make any more excuses, and she helped the Lord make a miracle. Faith will get rid of your excuses so you can receive a miracle, too.
Jesus Hears You
How many times do you make excuses for not receiving what you need or for failing to get answers to your prayers? I know that God hears every prayer I pray just as Jesus knew His Father heard Him. Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always (John 11:41,42). I’m never disappointed when God doesn’t answer one of my prayers because I always tell the Lord not to answer any prayer I pray unless it’s His divine will. I only want the divine will of God, not the permissible will.
Elijah was a type of Jesus, and he prayed knowing that God heard him. One of his prayers was only sixty-three words long, but the miracle happened! LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again. Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench (I Kings 18:36-38).
My people in this ministry are alive! We fast, pray and live in the divine will of God; and His miracles are flowing like mighty rivers. People come from all over the world to receive their miracles, and most of them never leave disappointed. All nine gifts of the Spirit are in operation in my life, and I’m ready to help people and to believe for them. I’m ready to help them make miracles with the Lord.
Help the Lord Make Miracles
Jesus’ mother helped to make the first miracle. His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it (John 2:5). The little boy with the five loaves and two fishes helped Jesus make an unforgettable miracle. There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would (John 6:9-11).
Study the Bible and see how the Lord depended on His dedicated, consecrated believers to help Him make miracles; then realize that He’s depending on us to do the same thing today. He wants to use our hands, our eyes, our ears and our voices; and He wants our voices to carry the same power that Jesus’ voice did. When we pray for devils to come out, we must know they have to come out. When we command sicknesses to leave, we must know that people are healed, delivered and set free.
Know the Spirit’s Drawing
All of the Lord’s works are miraculous, but you have to know God and His power before you can give Him the glory that He wants. You have to know the Holy Spirit and understand why He has been sent to you, and you have to know why He lives and dwells in holy people all the time. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you (John 14:16,17). The Holy Spirit will dwell in you forever, and it’s wonderful to know that we have such a guide and teacher. We must know that we’re beholding His glory and the power of God moving in such grace, goodness and unbelievable mercy.
Jesus came to bring people into Heaven’s place, and the Spirit is the One who draws us to that place. No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day (John 6:44). No one can come unto the Father unless they’re drawn by the Spirit; and He draws us to the sea of promises where we’ll find holy love, holy faith, holy goodness and holy gentleness. The true Bride will say, Draw me, we will run after thee (Song of Solomon 1:4).
Claim God’s Healing Promise
Do you ever consider that you can come out of your valley of sickness? Aren’t you tired of suffering? It’s not God’s will for you to be sick; it’s His will for you to be well. You can have your miracle, and you can be set free; but you have to make up your mind to receive once and for all or you’ll doubt even when the Lord sends His great power into you. You must not doubt; God won’t accept it, and you tie His hands when you doubt.
You have to believe to see people get their miracles and believe to see multitudes come to God. I’ve never seen any affliction that God could not heal, and I believe to see people with all kinds of deadly diseases healed. Thousands with AIDS have been healed through this ministry, and we’re getting medical documents to prove their miracles. It’s ridiculous to say that God cannot or will not heal AIDS when we know that God is good; God is great, and holy is the name of the Lord!
Stand still on the promises of God and behold the glory of your miracle. Feel your miracle through the Spirit of the Lord. Feel His power and the cloud of His presence. The greatness and the miracle power are yours. Feel them coming toward you and know this is it. You can feel bad spirits, so why shouldn’t you be able to feel good spirits? You can feel the powers of the devil coming against you, so why shouldn’t you be able to feel the powers of God coming to help you? Hear Jesus saying, “All things are possible, only believe.”
God Can Raise the Dead
Remember that Jairus said, “Lord, my daughter is dead; it’s too late.” But Jesus said, Be not afraid, only believe (Mark 5:36). Jairus accepted that, and he didn’t say any more about his daughter being dead; he just followed Jesus to his house. And when he [Jesus] was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying. And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment (Mark 5:39-42).
You have to be on Heaven’s ground to believe the Lord will raise the dead in the first place, and He’s raised the dead through this Jesus ministry, too. Years ago, a man who had helped me start this ministry had a massive heart attack and was pronounced dead for twenty minutes. The nurse said he had absolutely no pulse; but my congregation and I had been praying all night long, and the Lord brought him back to life. However, in those twenty minutes, he had actually gone to Heaven and seen Jesus. He remembered being so thirsty and trying to find water. If he had gotten to the River of Life, I’m sure he never would have come back. That man lived for several years after that experience, but he was never again satisfied with life here on this Earth.
Heaven’s a wonderful place, but you have to accept the promise of Heaven if you ever want to get there. And before you get there, the Lord wants you to have the good health He promised to you and to know that He will walk with you all the way. Accept the promise that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). We must walk on God’s seas of promises; and when we do, the Lord will do unbelievable things in this final hour.
Know God’s Way
This is the Bride’s final walk; and she must walk without spot, wrinkle or blemish. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:27). The Bride must be as pure and holy as God Himself just like the Bible says. Be ye holy; for I am holy (I Peter 1:16). The Word also says, Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). Be still in the Lord’s presence and know that He is God. Be still and let the Holy Spirit take over your mind so you can know the thoughts of God for you at any moment and so you will have the answers you need.
When a staff member asks me a question about this work of God, there are many times when I have the answer even before the person can get the whole question out of his mouth. The Lord gives me His will, and I follow it exactly. That’s why this work is so great and mighty, and that’s why it’s reaching to the ends of the Earth.
This is the pouring-out time. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh (Joel 2:28). The Lord showed me this hour over fifty years ago. I actually walked with God and saw the greatness He would pour out through the Bride in her final work. Everything He showed me was unbelievable, but I didn’t have one doubt as I walked with the Lord. Now, we’re walking in this hour in living reality and taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the whole world. I can stand before multitudes of people and thousands are saved, healed and filled with the Holy Ghost in moments of time.
These are days of greatness. I live with God day and night, and so must you. Turn your mind and body completely over to Him the last thing each night. Turn yourself over to the divine blood and let the Holy Spirit work on you while you sleep. He’ll do it; and then you’ll wake up without any depression or despair. He will also conquer any nightmares you may have.
When you use the blood, the devil has to move aside. You can get rid of all of his demons that try to torture you in your sleep, and your nerves will come to normal. The One who said, “Peace be still” to the angry waves of the sea is still saying that to us today. Hear Him, and the anointing and the calm will come.
Oh, God, we thank you for sending Jesus. He is our life, our everything; and we are complete in Him. Ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power (Colossians 2:10). We’ve learned how to pray in His name and get through to Heaven every time.
Believe and Receive
Now, it’s time for you to receive your miracle. I’m not your healer; I’m just the Lord’s witness, and He wants to heal you now. Lord, here they are; and many of them have deadly diseases. Medical science cannot touch such cases; but if they’ll reach out and touch you now, they will be delivered. They will be set free of HIV/AIDS, diabetes, heart trouble, lung trouble, leprosy and paralysis. Deformed children will be made whole. Heal! in the blood name of Jesus. Heal!
The Lord is moving. His power is going all through me, and I’m believing for you. Stand still, and you will feel His presence, too. Many have felt His power shoot into their bodies, and yet they doubt Him. God wants us to be believers.
Be Made New
The Lord has moved for your body, but now you have to live for Him. If you need salvation, say the sinners’ prayer with me right now. Oh, God, I confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe the blood of Jesus cleanses me from all sin. I believe He died for me, and now I will live for Him. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in!
If you meant that prayer, Jesus is yours. Prayer, fasting and living in the Word will keep you walking the high road with Him. You’ll live on Heaven’s ground, and you’ll stand still again and again like I do to see the glory of God and to see His miracles.
Now that you have gotten saved today, you must go on and receive ye the Holy Ghost (John 20:22). Just praise and glorify the Lord until the Holy Ghost comes in and takes over. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4). He’ll speak in another language, Heaven’s language; and you will be full of the love, the faith and the power of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Now, stand still and see your miracle!
