Even as God’s children, I think we sometimes forget the great power that goes forth when He speaks. God is speaking now, and for all eternity He will be speaking. God will never cease to speak to His people; He’s telling you to open your ears so that you can hear.

Psalm 33:6-9: By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. For he spake, and it was done. This is the greatness of God’s Word. He speaks to the waters, to the skies and they have to obey. He speaks to the moon, the stars, the sun; and they, too, obey. Everything God created is willing to obey Him except man and woman. Do you stand in awe of God’s greatness? Are you amazed at His mighty power to save and to heal?

Psalm 33:9: For he spake, and it was done. The Lord just spoke the universe into existence and hung it upon nothing. He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing (Job 26:7). Here you are on an earth spinning around so fast it’s flying, and you’re not even conscious of it.

All the Lord had to do was speak the Word and it was done. He created the earth like that: He spoke it into existence. Never doubt any of God’s promises in His Book. Not human faith, but the faith of God is what you need, the faith that was used to speak this universe into existence: Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also (Genesis 1:14-16). God said to let there be a sun and a moon, and they appeared. He said to let there be stars—and stars were everywhere, millions of them.

People recognize the many stars, but not the greatness of God. When the Lord spoke the stars into existence, He just threw out His hands and there they were; it was just that simple.

What did Jesus have to say about God’s promises? Only believe (Mark 5:36). All you have to do is believe God, live holy, pure and clean before Him as you follow in the Master’s footsteps; and you’ll be able to use the faith of God.

Faith is a gift. God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). If you use that measure of faith, the Lord will give you another measure and then another and another. Accept that faith into a pure heart and keep the Word and the promises of God there, too.

God’s Word Is Eternal

The Psalmist wrote: Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee (Psalm 119:11). The writer of Proverbs tells us that the Word would bring health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:22). The Word, indeed, has brought health to many.

Great, powerful love is found in both the spoken and the written Word. Whether it’s the spoken Word or the written Word matters not; the Word is the Word. God said it, and God stands by it.

God is the eternal one; all His words, all His promises are eternal. Every word He’s ever spoken to the people on planet Earth lives; the Word lives. This Bible is alive today, and thank God it’s alive!

The Bible is ours; it belongs to us; it’s our Earth Book. We may carry it all over Heaven when we get there, saying, “This was my roadmap, the Book that showed me the way to Heaven.” I believe we will love the Word of God, the Bible, for all eternity.

The great prophets of old wrote Thus saith the Lord. Daniel, a mighty prophet of God, wrote Thus saith the Lord. Jeremiah the prophet wrote, Thus saith the Lord (Jeremiah 2:2). Ezekiel the prophet wrote, Thus saith the Lord God (Ezekiel 2:4). Those men are gone now, but we on planet Earth today are saying, too: Thus saith the Lord.

God Has All Power

If you’re not claiming the promises God has made to you in His Word, get busy. Hear the Word saying, I am the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8). The miraculous works He has done in the past, He will do today. The Lord made that promise of healing—can’t you hear Him? He is I-Am—your I-Am. You can be delivered today, set free by the power of I-Am. Thank God for His old-time power! How marvelous it is to have a God who has all power, who speaks and devils flee! If you really know the Lord, you know He has all power.

Try a Fast

This kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21). Are you not getting your prayers answered? Try a long fast. Do you think fasting forty days would almost kill you? That’s what fasting is all about, dying out to self. One woman told me that she would fast if she didn’t get so hungry. We all get hungry if we have any appetite at all. I have a big appetite, and on a fast I feel as though I’m starving sometimes; but that’s the sacrifice. You need determination to want God’s blessings more than you want food. As long as you keep eating, you’ll console your conscience with the thought that some day you will go on a fast; unfortunately, that “some day” never comes.

To fast, all you have to do is not eat, drink a lot of water, and live according to the Word of God; feast on the Word. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). Don’t think how weak your stomach is on a fast. The Word is telling you that man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word of God.

Instead of thinking what you’d like to eat, dine at the table of the Lord; read promise after promise—they are wonderful! Study God’s prophecies that tell of this endtime hour, and you’ll realize that God’s Word is truly great.

The Word Heals

If you need a miracle or a healing, read that Jesus, the Word made flesh, healed people. The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14). Jesus walked right here on Earth in human form; the Word spoke and miracles took place. The Word spoke and the crippled were made to walk, the blind received their sight.

And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth…he [Jesus] spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing (John 9:1,6,7). If it had been anyone else making those eyes, they would have tried anything other than mud. Jesus didn’t wait for someone to bring Him a cup of water. He just spit on the ground and made clay out of the spittle; that was a part of His Spirit, a part of His love, a part of Him. When the man washed, he could see. It didn’t look like Jesus had done much, but when God speaks He turns a little into something great. I am the LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26).

An Angel Troubled the Waters

Jesus saw a man lying by a pool, waiting. Waiting for what? Waiting for healing from Heaven, but he was looking for it in a form that some of you wouldn’t have believed. Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me (John 5:2-7).

The man believed an angel came down and stirred up the waters. There are those who say God won’t heal some diseases, won’t deliver a person of certain kinds of deformities. Yes He will, and He proves it here because whoever got in the pool first received their miracle for anything or everything they needed.

“Wilt thou be made whole?” Jesus asked the man. Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked (John 5:8,9). The Word was speaking to a hopeless, helpless case of thirty-eight long years, a man who thought he didn’t have anyone to help him; but Jesus made Him whole.

You may have decided you don’t have anyone to help you; nevertheless, you have the Master’s nail-riven hand, and you can step into the healing, cleansing waters. Those nail-riven hands have all the power needed to help you, weary one, all the power you need.

The man at the pool had faith or he wouldn’t have been there. He had Heaven’s faith because he believed an angel came down from Heaven at a certain season. It’s hard to tell how many times that poor man had asked someone to carry him to the pool; but no one would help him into the waters; no one cared that much. He could watch, but what good does it do just to watch others get healed when you remain ill? Why watch someone eat if there’s no food for you?

But as this man watched and longed for deliverance, he had faith. Faith brought the living Word to him, the living Christ. He had faith that there was healing from Heaven. He had no trouble with faith; his trouble was that he couldn’t get to the spot where his faith would work. Maybe that’s how you’re feeling today; you just can’t get into that place to receive a miracle; but helping hands are here, nail-riven hands that will help you.

A Birthright of Blood

With his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). With the divine blood stripes of Jesus you are offered healing. You’ve been made a partaker of divine blood, Child of God; the blood is your birthright. Healing from Heaven for soul, mind and body belongs to you—claim it. Jesus said healing is the children’s bread. The Word was spoken, and the Word is powerful; it is God’s eternal Word. The Word made flesh proved that the great I-Am had sent His only begotten Son down here for us.

Second Timothy 3:16, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable. The Word works. The Bible is not dead; it’s a live Bible, the Book of all books, the Book of life, grace, love, peace, compassion, and revelation for us. The Bible is the revelation of God’s greatness for His people for all eternity.

The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour (II Samuel 22:3). The Lord is our high tower, our love, our peace, our goodness, our mercy, our all in all; daily we have Heaven’s armfuls on purpose. We’re saying to the lost: Come over here where we are, where the feast of the Lord is going on. Come over here and be fed, Weary One; come dine with the Lord. Come as you are and be delivered. Oh alcoholic, drug addict, come and be set free! Oh mother and father, come; give your heart to Jesus and then you can help bring your children into the fold. The Lord is calling you: Come on! The call is going forth and it’s wonderful indeed!

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away (Revelation 21:4). The Word says everyone will be well and happy in God’s eternity. In His eternal kingdom there will be no sickness, no dying, no tears. But today Heaven is still crying over the lost; God the Father, the Son of God and the Holy Spirit are still crying. However, when the last soul is safely in the fold, God will wipe away all our tears; and then He’ll take that love handkerchief and finally wipe away His tears. There will be tears no more; no more sorrow or separations as we live with Him while the years roll on and on. It’s the Word!

The Holy Ghost Spoke the Word through Men

Second Peter 1:20,21, Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. The prophets didn’t put their opinions or their spirit into this Book; they put in His Spirit—the Holy Spirit Himself. The Holy Spirit is the author of the Bible. The Holy Spirit delivered what God said He wanted us to have in book form, and it works. Has the Word ever worked for you? Has it ever brought deliverance to you?

Thank God the Bible didn’t come by the will of man. Man’s will is nothing next to God’s will and God’s opinions. True children of God throw their opinions out the door in a hurry in favor of God’s opinions. Take your opinions to the Word. If they don’t meet the Word test, throw them into the garbage.

Many of us had our lives planned out, but when we came to Jesus the Word got inside of us and we changed our plans. When we looked at the plan of God through His love and grace, we decided we had better take His plan.

Sudden Destruction

Take all of Jesus; take the plan He brought; take the truth—the Word. The powerful Word is yours; decide to be in the Word from now on. When this old world is on fire, be hidden in the Word. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matthew 24:35). The Lord said His Word would abide forever. Run for the Word when trouble comes; use the Word for your shelter.

There will be no real peace until the Perfect Age. The Word said: For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape (I Thessalonians 5:3).

Jesus the Prince of Peace is the one who will bring peace, set up His peaceful kingdom right here on Earth for a thousand years.

God Gives True Life

True life, the life of God, is what really counts. When He gives you life, you become special in His sight, so special that you will have eternal life dwelling in you as long as God lives. The Word tells us many great and wonderful things.

Why be discouraged, depressed, when the Lord gives you life? Why live in fear of what could happen? Look to the one called Jesus. My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). God holds all the riches in glory; look to Him for your supply.

Hebrews 4:12, For the word of God is quick, and powerful. You don’t have to worry about the devil when you use the Word that is quicker and more powerful than the devil. While the devil is plotting, God can move and destroy his plans before they have a chance to work—that’s our God. The devil has never spoken a planet, a moon or a star into existence; he’s never given life. The devil is all death; he has no life in him to give. But in God is no death; God is all life; He speaks words of life. When you have God’s Word in your heart, you have beautiful words of life—sing, glorify the Lord, and be happy.

Don’t Look in the Wrong Places

Do you have beautiful words of life or do you have a depressing experience you are eager to tell? Some people seek attention by telling hard-luck stories, but the beautiful words of life sound better to me. People look for joy and happiness in the wrong places. Jesus has already brought all the joy and happiness you could ever need. He has told you how to get to it, how to reach Him for it, how it will be delivered if you want it. If you really want God’s faith, love and eternal grace, He will send them right down to you. The wonderful saving grace of Jesus will supply all your needs, show you all the paths that the Lord wants you to travel, show you the way from Earth to Heaven. His grace incorporates all the promises of God—wonderful, marvelous grace! The power of God’s Word is so great that He merely speaks and it’s done; He speaks and it happens.

Some people, blaming God when everything doesn’t go right, say they’ve lost their faith in God. I’m glad they said their faith and not His because God’s faith is not easy to lose if one really has it and recognizes it for what it is—divine eternal faith.

Faith Moves Mountains

If someone gave you a gift of a million dollars you’d take great care of it, but God’s faith is far more valuable than a million dollars. A million dollars can’t move that mountain of sickness, but faith can move it no matter what it is, the eternal faith of God. Whatever is working in your body today—cancer, heart trouble, blindness, deafness, paralysis or a deformity—the Lord speaks and it happens, the miracle takes place.

And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice, Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not. And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out (Luke 4:33-36). When Jesus was on Earth He commanded the miracles to take place, and they happened. He had done His praying ahead of time.

Jesus showed the disciples how to use His power, and later they did the same things Jesus had done. They stayed away with the Lord, prepared, and then spoke the Word. That’s what I do: I speak the words of life to people and life comes into their bodies, life comes into their souls, life, life, life. I command it to happen in the name of Jesus with authority from On High, authority from Heaven.

Signs Follow Believers

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18). This is the Word speaking! Man didn’t say it; the disciples didn’t say it: The Word said it. The Word still is speaking today, but many people won’t believe the Word. Even though they say they’re born-again Christians, they’re really not Bible believers. If they were Bible believers there would be signs, wonders, miracles and healings in their churches.

Miracles and healings were standard in the Early Church. How far would Jesus have gotten in convincing people that He was the Son of God had He brought a dead word? But Jesus was the living Word, and miracles happened; wonders took place. He took the spiritually dead and made them live; He even raised Lazarus from the dead.

Consider your soul that was dead in trespasses and sin. When you yielded that soul to the Lord, He took it and made it live—not for an hour or a day, but for all eternity.

It’s time to cry forth the Word of God to the world in this final hour. It’s time to take the living Gospel to the world; however, it’s pointless to speak of a live Gospel and then not act it out. People must see the signs and the wonders. They don’t want to hear a dead story; they want to see action; they want to see results, and I don’t blame them. If you tell people you have the true and living God, then it’s time to show them what your God will do.

A More Excellent Way

When I go to the nations I don’t have trouble with the different religions because I don’t go to criticize them. I go to show them a more excellent way; I go to show them my Lord. Instead of passing judgment on their gods, I’m busy telling them about mine. Before I know it, the time is gone and I have to come back home; I had no time to talk about their gods. If we’re serving the true and living God, we must go forth to tell people about our wonderful Jesus. Instead of showing contempt for their gods, we say: Look at what our Jesus will do!

I found in India that some believed Jesus was only a prophet. I told them He was more than a prophet, He was the Son of God. When they saw the miracles, they believed and were healed by the power of God. When they saw the miracles, they knew I had brought a God who could perform miracles that their gods could not perform—and they have millions of gods in India, not just thousands, but millions. Hindus by the numbers came to God and were healed.

We have the sacred Jesus in our hearts; yet sometimes we don’t reverence Him as we should; we don’t show forth His grace to others in any great way. I just preach the Gospel; the Lord confirms it with signs, wonders, miracles and healings. The miracles changed many in India and brought them to God. That’s the reason they want me to come back, the reason they flocked to the crusades. They saw great results.

God is on the throne; God is alive; the Word lives. Do you believe the Word lives? The Word was put on display through Jesus Christ the Son of God. He came down to Earth and set up a wonderful Kingdom, the Kingdom of God within, a Kingdom of pure heavenly grace, love and joy, a Kingdom of everything wonderful and great.

Do You Enjoy the Lord?

Are you enjoying the blessings of God? How much do you enjoy the Lord? Did you get just enough salvation to make you miserable, or did you get enough to make you happy? Did you get enough to destroy all the oppression and depression, or did you get just enough to merely exist until you can enter Heaven? Are you so depressed, so oppressed that you’ll be glad when you die? Do you make sinners think serving God is worse than the measles because you’re so miserable? Sinners don’t want anything like that.

Had Elijah acted like some Christians, Elisha never would have wanted a double portion of Elijah’s spirit; he would have asked for something else instead. I never would ask for a double portion from some Christians; I wouldn’t want a speck of what they have much less a double portion of it. But Elijah had the power in the Word of the Lord, and he acted it out.

There Was a Prophet in the Land

A prophet hadn’t been in Israel for years; then suddenly there stood Elijah, bolder than twenty lions, saying to a wicked king: Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word (I Kings 17:1). Ahab didn’t want anything to do with God; he didn’t pay attention to the Word of the Lord until he got thirsty, until the land was drying up and dying.

God knows how to make everyone a believer, but I’m glad He made believers out of us without bringing some disaster to do it. Willingly we believe in His greatness, in His power, in His promises, in His holy Word. We believe He’s alive, and when we come to church we expect God to move; we expect souls to be saved.

Receive the Holy Ghost

This revival at Grace Cathedral has been going on over forty-eight years, and has been growing all that time, spreading all over the world. It started in a canvas tent that had sawdust on the floor, but the tent and sawdust had nothing to do with the Word increasing through the power of God. God sent me to say: Thus saith the Lord: Repent, and salvation will be given to you. The blood will wash away all your sins, and then you must go on to receive the Holy Ghost; the Holy Ghost is a must.

The Lord commanded the disciples to receive the Holy Ghost. And, [Jesus] being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence (Acts 1:4,5). If you’re a disciple, a real child of God, you’re commanded to receive the Holy Ghost; you want all that God has for you, and you will see the Holy Ghost baptism is real.

Peter said, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call (Acts 2:38,39). This is the Word: The Holy Ghost is promised you.

The disciples followed Jesus day after day, sometimes believing, sometimes not; sometimes in step and sometimes out, but thank God they kept following Him. There were those who followed afar off until the Word made flesh proved He really had come down from Heaven. The Word made the supreme sacrifice and couldn’t be defeated even with death. Thank God the Word conquered death, hell and the grave as Jesus came forth from the tomb! People were able to touch Him, to feel Him, to hear that same wonderful voice.

After the Resurrection the disciples listened to Jesus forty days and nights, and then they watched Him out of sight as He ascended back to Heaven. Their souls were aflame. They didn’t go back to Jerusalem to cry about His leaving them. No, they went to Jerusalem to receive power, the power of the Holy Ghost, so they could act out the Word the way Jesus had acted out the Word. The Word had come to them in power, deliverance, strength, love, and in all the greatness that man ever needed. They were now staunch believers ready to act it all out no matter, ready to hold on to the Word even unto death.

Are You Willing to Pay the Price?

After the disciples had received the Holy Ghost baptism, they no longer feared death as they had at one time. Simon Peter earlier had been afraid for his life, but then when it came time for him to die, he wasn’t afraid. It is thought that he requested to be crucified head down because he didn’t think he was worthy to be crucified like his Lord. He died for the sake of Christ.

If you’re not willing to pay the price today, the Word can be around you, caress you outside, but is it on the inside? How much you do for God in this final hour depends on how much of Him you have on the inside. If you have hidden the Word in your heart the way you should have, you have good spiritual vision, good spiritual hearing; you know the endtime signs are real, and that the living Christ will soon return. You’re not only hearing what the Spirit is saying, you are obedient to it; you’re using the Word.

The Word made flesh in a wrapper of clay did wonders. The Word is going forth in wrappers of clay today—not just one, but many, many wrappers of clay—just like it did in the beginning of the Church. The Gospel is being carried to the heathen with great and mighty results.

Jesus set up His Kingdom in the hearts of people who brought others into the Kingdom through and with the Word. People were justified, sanctified, made holy, delivered, and set free of all mind leeches through the Word. Men and women who went forth with the anointing and power of the Holy Ghost to set the captives free carried on the same divine mission that the living Word established, the same cause. With Heaven’s power, faith, hope, and love they used the Word just like the Master used it. They spoke and it happened.

Miracles Confirm the Word

Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he [Peter] took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he [the lame man] leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God (Acts 3:6-8). This man was around forty years of age. Although he had never walked before, he didn’t have to learn to walk. No, immediately he began walking and leaping as he made his way to the temple praising God. Some people call that fanaticism, but I call that a God-Word miracle. I call that God’s power, God’s love, and God’s grace.

Thousands were swept into the Kingdom by the miracle of the lame man, and today we see many, many thousands in moments of time being swept into the Kingdom wherever we go. Why? Because the Word is being preached with the same power, the same love, the same grace, the same everything that Jesus used; and the Lord is confirming it with the same results.

Thy Will Be Done

It’s time for the real Church of Jesus Christ to take her place just as Jesus took His place on planet Earth and conquered sin and sickness for us. Bride of Christ, it’s time to rise up in the power and the greatness of the Spirit and go forth to set the captives free. They’ll never be free unless we use God’s Word, God’s power. Leaving the world and all that goes with it behind, cry: “Take the whole world, but give me Jesus!” Don’t turn back; close all the doors behind you, and do the whole will of God. Willing to spend and be spent, do whatever He wants you to do; please Him in every way.

The Bride will be saying: Father, use my life the way you used your only begotten Son’s life when He was here on Earth. I want to have the same cry, the same spirit that my Master had in the Garden of Gethsemane: And he [Jesus] went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt (Matthew 26:39).

We’re on our way to tell the world about Jesus and to bring back the King; blessed be the name of the Lord!

Don’t look at those fighting the cause of Christ; look to those who have a healthy soul, who are joyful and happy in the Lord. When you’re spiritually healthy you’re not counting your troubles; you’re counting your blessings, for you are blessed.

The Word of God is quick and powerful. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 30:5, Every word of God is pure. That means the Word is holy like God; it has all the strength of God in it and no weakness. The Word is pure without one particle of contamination, just as powerful now as it was when God spoke it; He’s kept it pure. The Word works and brings great results.

The Word Lights Your Way

Psalm 119:105, Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. That great light of the Word is right there for your feet; you can’t lose your way when you follow it. You won’t make spiritual gains unless your feet are taking you the paths of God and you have the light.

People say they don’t know their way, they don’t know what God wants of them. I stayed with God until I knew what He wanted of me. I knew my destiny when I was eighteen years of age. You don’t have to wait for years and years to find the will of God if you really want it with all your heart. There was a time I didn’t want the will of God, but when God saved me and filled me with His Holy Spirit, I wanted nothing else but the will of God. I was willing to do anything, even preach the Gospel if He wanted me to preach. There had been a time I could have named a thousand things and more I wanted to do before I would have named being a preacher. But now I’d rather be a preacher than anything else in the whole world. There is nothing I’d rather do than speak thus saith the Lord and see the Lord confirm it. I love preaching better than I love eating—and that’s saying a lot. Praise the name of the Lord!

God is on the throne, and God is performing today. The Word is in action, lighting up the way. When we find people in darkness, we don’t give up in despair; we leave them with the light—eternal light. If they turn the light out, we can’t help it; but it’s our business to turn the Word-light on for them and tell them the way of God, the way of holiness, the way of righteousness, the way to Heaven, the way of life—God’s way of life. This is it; this is abundant living: Come on into it!

The Word will lead you, not your opinions. Proverbs 6:22: When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. Let the Word talk with you; let the Word speak. The Word isn’t dead; it has life.

If you run after your own opinions, you’ll be caught up in a whirlwind of confusion, spinning around and around, dragging up trash. But the Word purifies, separates you from the trash, the sins, the disobedience and the darkness of this old world.

Having the Faith of God Makes the Difference

When thou sleepest, it [the Word] shall keep thee (Proverbs 6:22). Why should you be afraid to go to sleep? The Lord said He’d look out for you; but first you have to be His, obedient to the Word. If you want the power of the Word to work for you, your life must be yielded to it.

When you yield to the Word of God you don’t have to be afraid of anything. Daniel had the Word in the lions’ den; the Hebrew boys had the Word in the fiery furnace, and the Word was sufficient.

Tossed about on the ark, knowing the whole earth was covered with water, Noah had the Word. Where were they going to land? Noah couldn’t even see out. Some of us would have had a nervous breakdown had we managed to get on that ark, but most of us would have been afraid to get on board. We would have been standing outside saying we’d rather drown than be shut up in a place like that, a place with all those stinking wild animals. Noah, however, had the Word.

Some people have tried to figure out how all those animals could have been stabled on the ark, but it really doesn’t make any difference to me. If you listen to the devil, he’ll talk you into such ignorance you’ll never get educated out of it.

Noah didn’t ask man how long the ark should be, how high or what to use so the water couldn’t get in. No, a thousand times no. Noah, of course, didn’t have the modern equipment we have today, and it took him over one hundred and twenty years to build that ark.

The ark wasn’t a fancy thing. Some people have said the ark looked like three boxcars stacked on top of each other. It doesn’t matter how things look; it’s the faith of God that makes the difference. When you look through the eyes of faith, you have the picture of God, the plan of God; you have what God wants you to have. The eye of faith gives His plan to you, and the love of God in your heart makes you hold on to it for it to all come true; and that’s what counts.

First Peter 1:23: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. You can’t be saved without the Word. You can’t find Jesus without the Word. You can’t have your sins washed away, can’t be born new without the Word. The Word made flesh brought the plan of redemption. The Word made flesh cried, You must be born again! But a lot of people don’t listen to the Word. No, they listen to man’s opinions; and that’s the reason that, although their name is on a church book somewhere, they’re not ready to go to Heaven even though their own opinion tells them otherwise.

Talking to a lady one time, I asked her if she were saved. She said she belonged to a certain church.

“Church membership won’t take you to Heaven,” I said.

“I believe mine will,” she replied.

There won’t be any dead churches in Heaven—or any dead church members either. Water baptism won’t wash your sins away; it takes divine blood for salvation.

Divine blood flowed in the veins of the Word made flesh in the all-conquering, powerful Word of the living God. Speak the Word through God’s faith, not yours. Human faith could never do justice to the Word of God.

Shame on you if you try to use thus saith the Lord with human faith. God gave you His faith to use on what He said. If you’re going to get results, you must use God’s faith; human faith won’t do it. Many have tried human faith and found it didn’t work. Then they backed away and decided God must not be performing miracles today. He is performing miracles, but it’s through His divine faith, not human faith. Take the divine faith of God.

Glorify God for His Marvelous Word!

John 15:7: If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. If you abide in the Word and the Word abides in you, you can ask what you will. The Word said to only believe. All things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23). We’ve been born again by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever (I Peter 1:23). The Word lives, but the only place it has for some people is on a table or in the lower dresser drawer. They tuck it away somewhere until they think they’re about to die, then they dig it out. It takes them a while to dust it off and even longer to get the dust out of their minds.

The Word liveth and abideth forever and ever with great life, grace, love, faith, peace! Aren’t we privileged to be on our way to Glory with all of this! We ought to be shouting much of the way, praising God, glorifying Him.

When man failed to fly any longer in God’s love, grace, and happiness, I know God was happy that He had made the birds. Man had lost his song, but the birds hadn’t lost theirs. God wrote songs for man as well as for the birds; sadly man failed to sing God’s songs. God loves to hear the birds sing because they sing with His love, faith and peace; they sing because He made them; He spoke them into existence.

Do the birds out-sing you? Those little birds don’t have the knowledge of God, don’t know the love of God. Jesus didn’t die for one of those little birds; do they sound happier than you are? Realize who you are, what you are in Christ. The Word made you a new creation—the Word did it. You’ve been made brand-new through the Word when you are born again.

The Word Has Power to Forgive Sins

Jesus entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house. And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them. And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee (Mark 2:1-5). The scribes thought no one had the power to forgive sins, but the living Word has power to forgive sins.

And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion (Mark 2:8-12). The man picked up his bed and walked away with it.

After Jesus healed the blind man, He was accused of being a sinner : They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind. And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes. Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see. Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner. He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see (John 9:13-16,24,25).

Now We See

Spiritually we once were blind, but now we see; how wonderful! It’s through the living Word that we have our sight and that we know we have it. We can see all the way from Earth to Glory, and that’s a lot of seeing. We see the promises of God and the fulfillment of those promises. Clap your hands and praise God: O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph (Psalm 47:1).

Glory be to God, Jesus is coming soon! The message of the Word, the power of the Word, the greatness of the Word tells us that we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye (I Corinthians 15:51,52). We will be caught away to be with the Lord forever. If that doesn’t make you happy, I don’t know what would.

Some of you think the Lord can’t give you a miracle today, yet you believe you will be changed in a moment and a twinkling of an eye when Jesus comes again. You have more faith than you think you have. What a miracle the Rapture will be! One moment you’ll be going about your routine, and the next moment you’ll be changed and caught away.

No wonder we’re excited about this, no wonder we’re going to the ends of the earth with this message of the living Word. These aren’t dead words we’re speaking; we’re speaking the live words of the living God, and miracles are taking place. People are being changed, transformed—and it’s glorious! It’s praise ye the Lord!

Ezekiel 12:25, For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass. Behold the Lord; look upon Him! He is the Lord and His Word shall come to pass; it shall be done.

Divine Experiences from Heaven

The Word says, They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:18). People wonder why we minister to the sick, why we’re so happy about this, and why we preach the baptism of the Holy Spirit, a divine experience from Heaven. It’s because the Word says so. The Word tells about the Holy Ghost falling at Pentecost, And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4). I love it all, all the signs and the wonders. I ponder them, read about them over and over in the Acts of the Apostles. The Early Church members used the Word; they went everywhere preaching the Word. They were in the Word; the Word was their song, their prayer, their faith, their love, their grace. The Word was their very life, the Word, the Word, the Word.

What Does the Word Mean to You?

What does the Word mean to you? Is it just print on paper? To me the Word is life. The Word is my passage from Earth to Heaven, my eternal life, my eternal love, my eternal joy: Joy unspeakable and full of glory (I Peter 1:8).

I’m not waiting until I get to Heaven to be happy; the Lord told me in His Word, The joy of the LORD is your strength (Nehemiah 8: 10). That’s one reason I have so much strength—I’m happy. If some of you would just let the Lord make you happy you’d have more strength, too. Did you ever stop to think that maybe the reason you are weak is because you’re not happy? Open up and let the Lord bless you.

The Word, the Word, the Word—think about the power of God’s Word. Let the Word go through you, churn up and down on the inside of you; let it work today and bring deliverance. You can have a born-again experience through the power of the Word. You may have been a drunkard for forty years, but you can be delivered right now. You may have been a drug user for many years, but it doesn’t matter; you can be delivered. No matter how many devils bind you, the Word says that believers will cast them out and you’ll be free. It’s time for you to be delivered, to be set free.

Confess Your Sins to God

The Word says, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9). If you confess your sins the Lord will forgive you. If you want deliverance, pray this prayer: Oh, God, save my soul. I’m so sorry that I’ve sinned against you; but I have come home and I’m going to serve you, Lord, the rest of my life. I believe the blood of Jesus, the power of the Word, will set me free; and I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. Come on in, Jesus! Come into my heart!

If you meant that prayer then Jesus has come in, and you now can say, Hallelujah, He has come! Hallelujah I’m free! Through the holy Word I am free! I am delivered from the demon powers of darkness. I’m not going to drink alcohol or use drugs and tobacco anymore. Thank God Almighty I’m free, I’m really free!

Stay free, and all Heaven will be yours one day. Pray Bible prayers; fast the Bible way; study the Word, and you’ll have power—the Word says so. God has spoken and no man can change what God has said. He speaks and it’s done; He speaks and it takes place; He speaks and His words are eternal.

You who are sick and afflicted: The Word says you can be healed. I am God’s believer, and His divine gifts are in my life. He confirms these gifts again and again by His powerful results. Lord, here they are: I bring the sick and afflicted to you. I bring mothers and fathers so bound with diseases, so afflicted, tortured by pain, knowing that with your stripes, dear Jesus, there’s healing today. As the servant of the living God I come with your supernatural gifts, your gift of miracles, your gifts of healing. Heal! Heal that little deformed one! Re-create the brain and make it normal. Make that little one to walk and give it life. Breathe upon it right now, and it will live with God life. Lord heal the person with cancer, AIDS, with paralysis. Heal the diabetic and all who are in pain. Heal the person who has been told by the doctor that there is no cure for his or her disease. In the name of Jesus I come injecting your miracle power from your gift of miracles as you have ordained me to do. Heal! in the name of Jesus. Heal! in the holy name of the Lord.

The healing power is flowing; take your miracle or a miracle for your little one. Get well and watch your little one get well, then write and tell me what happened to you today. You have been blessed by His mighty hands, it’s been commanded by His holy Word: Only believe and receive. God be with you as the power of His Word brings the miraculous results for soul, mind and body and makes plain paths for your feet.
