The Lord has a plan for every life; and if you accept that plan, He will bless you. Jesus came to make it possible for all of our needs to be supplied. My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). This is a promise of God, and He will do what He has promised; but you have to get everything out of the way before He can move for you. Jesus said, Take ye away the stone (John 11:39). You have to be a “stone mover” if you want to get what you need from Heaven.

Jesus made that statement to Mary and Martha after their brother, Lazarus, had died. The Lord had really loved Lazarus and his two sisters; and whenever He was in their area, He would stay with them because He knew He would always find peace, joy and rest in their home.

Jesus was not close by when Lazarus became deathly ill; but his sisters knew that Jesus could help him, so they sent for Him right away. They kept looking for Him to arrive; but when He didn’t come, they couldn’t figure out why. “Oh, why doesn’t He come; do you think He got the message?” Yes, Jesus had received the message…and He was going to be right on time.

Jesus is always on time. If you ever find yourself thinking that the Lord is late, just keep looking and holding on; and He’ll be there. He may not arrive exactly when you think He should, but you have to learn to go by Heaven’s timing when you work with divinity. When you do, divinity will work for you; and you will receive the divine will of God. Divinity always works when you want the divine will of God to be done.

Jesus Arrived

By the time Jesus arrived in Bethany, Lazarus had been dead for four days; and his body had already been placed in the sepulcher. Friends and family had gathered, and they were all in great mourning. Mary and Martha were so disappointed that Jesus hadn’t come earlier; and when He finally appeared, they thought He was too late. Don’t ever act like those two sisters and be disappointed in the Lord, and don’t be a disappointment to Him either by not having the patience to believe He’ll be on time for what you need. Again I say, Jesus is always on time.

To Mary and Martha, the situation looked impossible; but things that we think are impossible are always possible with God. The things which are impossible with men are possible with God (Luke 18:27). Jesus made that statement when He was here; and He also said, Only believe (Mark 5:36). That’s all you have to do.

When Martha finally met Jesus, she cried, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day (John 11:21,23,24). Jesus wanted Martha to trust Him and believe what He was saying. Although she seemed to have had perfect faith in the Lord, and she knew her brother would be raised on Resurrection Day, she didn’t know that Jesus was going to raise Lazarus from the dead right then. That thought was beyond all who had gathered there because he’d already been dead for four days.

Trust and Obey

Martha went to tell her sister that Jesus had arrived. The Master is come, and calleth for thee. As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him. The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there (John 11:28,29,31). When Mary got up to leave, the other mourners thought she was going back to the tomb to cry; and they followed her. They didn’t know she was really going to see Jesus, and Mary had no idea that she was about to see Lazarus, too. She was going to get a wonderful surprise just like many of us have received when we’ve trusted in the Lord and waited on Him.

When Mary met Jesus, she said as Martha had, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died (John 11:32). But all Jesus wanted her to do was to believe and see; and He said, Take ye away the stone (John 11:39). When Jesus said that, all Martha and Mary could say was, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days (John 11:39). They still thought Jesus was too late, but they didn’t realize how great Jesus really was; and sadly, most people today don’t either.

Many of those who go to church every Sunday don’t really know the greatness of Jesus or the mighty love, faith, power and miracles He has for all who will believe. I believe, and I know there’s no case too hard for the Lord.

Rolling away the stone was the part that they could do. Man had rolled the stone in front of the sepulcher, so man could roll it away. Jesus could have commanded the stone to move, or He could have called for an angel to move it; but He wanted man to use his hands to do what he could do first…and today, He wants us to do the same thing. That’s obedience, and that’s having faith in His work. God wants us to help Him make miracles, but He can only work with faith and love.

Then Jesus said to Mary and Martha, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God (John 11:40)? His glory can be seen through miracles and healings in abundance, through the power that sets the captives free as well as through salvation, freedom and liberty for the children of God.

Once the people rolled away the stone from Lazarus’ tomb, Jesus shocked everyone by saying, Lazarus, come forth (John 11:43). Lazarus came forth still bound with grave clothes; and the Lord said, Loose him, and let him go (John 11:44). This was another thing the people could do. They were the ones who had bound him up in those grave clothes, and they knew how to free him. Think how Mary and Martha must have felt as they saw Lazarus walk out—I’m sure they looked upon Jesus with more love and faith than ever before.

Help Jesus Make Miracles

Some of you have things you need the Lord to do today, but you haven’t moved your stones out of the way. You may have prayed and fasted, and you may say you’re waiting on the Lord; but the Lord is waiting on you to roll the stones away and help Him make your miracle. You have to do your part first.

When Jesus performed His first miracle, His mother helped Him do it. She told six servants of the household where they were attending a wedding, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it (John 2:5). They had run out of wine for the guests; and Jesus told them, Fill the waterpots with water (John 2:7). The servants obeyed; and when they poured out that water for the guests, it became wine. When we do our part, Jesus will always do His part.

Miracles increase your faith, and many of you have enough faith to get whatever you need from God; but you won’t use it all. The Lord can’t work when you have stones of doubt and unbelief in the way. He knows you have faith; and He knows that if you’ll use it, it will get your stones out of the way so He can do any great thing you need. Your victory is on the other side of your stone.

For many years, I’ve been getting stones out of the way for both myself and for others; but there are many different kinds of stones. Salvation will move many stones of the world out of the way because you have to separate completely from the world and leave it behind before you can receive Jesus. The Bible says, Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord (II Corinthians 6:17). When Jesus was praying for His disciples, He said, They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world (John 17:14). That’s real separation.

You have to get rid of all stones of disobedience. It’s not enough to be obedient in some things; you must be obedient in everything. You have to get rid of your own thoughts and theories and take God’s thoughts. God told us in the Word of the living God that His thoughts are greater than our thoughts. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:9). I always take God’s thoughts; and they give me so much strength, faith and grace. The Bible says, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness (II Corinthians 12:9).

Identify Your Stone

What is your great need today? Doctors may have told you that you need surgery or that you don’t have long to live, but you have to get those stones out of the way. Maybe your stone is that you’ve had your affliction for a long time. I asked a lady who had come for prayer if she believed the Lord would heal her; and she said, “Well, I’ve had this disease for such a long time.”

It doesn’t matter how long you’ve had your affliction; it just takes a moment for the Lord to deliver you when you get all of the stones out of the way. I trust that lady got her miracle, and I hope I helped her get her stone out of the way—the stone of thinking that she’d been sick too long. The Lord may have led her to that service just so I could help her roll that stone out of the way.

Some of you need help to get your stone out of the way, but you first have to know what your stone is. Is it a great disappointment that makes you feel like you’re a ship without a sail? If so, make sure that you’re never disappointed in God. You can be disappointed in yourself, in people or even in the devil but never in God. It’s strange that you never hear of people being disappointed in the devil when he’s the one who is always aggravating us. The Lord told us that he’s a liar. He [the devil] was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it (John 8:44).

When I hear people say, “The devil told me this,” or “The devil told me that,” I ask them, “If you know the devil told you, then why do you believe it? There’s no truth in him.” I don’t listen to the devil because I only have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying, and He tells us to cast the devil out and trample him underfoot. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

Take Jesus to the World

Misgivings, despair, oppression and depression all come from the devil; but Jesus came and made it possible for us to be delivered from all of that—if we’ll get our stones out of the way. There’s no need for anyone to be depressed, especially those who are children of God. We’re on our way to Heaven and getting ready to take that one flight out; but until Rapture Day comes, we can’t let anything stop us from taking this Gospel to the world. Jesus said, This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come (Matthew 24:14). We have to move faster than ever because the hour is late. We’re on a divine mission, and Jesus has given us everything we need to complete it. Remember that when Jesus was here, He went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him (Acts 10:38).

We have to give ourselves completely to the Lord just as Paul did. He said, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me (Galatians 2:20). Paul did so many wonderful works for the Lord because he was just like Jesus. You’ll never find anyone in the Word who was more like Jesus than the Apostle Paul, and you’ll never find anyone but Jesus who did more works than Paul did. I seek to be just like Jesus so that when I speak, it’s like Jesus speaking; and when I lay hands on people, it’s like the hand of the Lord touching them.

When I touch people who come for prayer, there’s a divine light from Heaven that touches them a split second before I do; and many of them go down under the power of the Spirit. When they get up, they’re healed. The divine light that touches them is brighter than any light here on Earth because it’s the power of God, and I seldom ever pray for people to receive salvation without seeing that glorious light. The moment it flashes, I know they have received salvation for their soul; and it thrills me through and through to know that we’ve rescued another one from devil bondage.

The Word Has the Answers

I can’t emphasize enough the importance of getting all of your stones out of the way. Not having vision for the lost or hungering and thirsting after righteousness and holiness are really big stones. The awful stone of being lukewarm keeps people out of church, out of the prayer closet and away from the Word of God. If they do try to read the Word, they feel like they’re not getting anything from it.

Whenever you feel like you’re not getting anything from the Bible, read it out loud to the devil. As you do, the Spirit of the Lord will take you over; and you’ll begin to digest the scriptures. They will clear your mind so the devil can’t cheat you out of the understanding you should be getting.

I get so excited over the Word of God because it’s the Book that shows us the way to Heaven, the Book that’s all truth. The Word makes plain paths for our feet and teaches us what we need to know about God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. That Book tells us all we need to know about divinity while we’re on this road to Glory, and it gives us everything we must have to do the works of Jesus. All we need is in the holy Word of the living God.

The Prayer of Faith

The Word teaches us to stay plugged into Heaven. Then we can pray with the same love and faith that Jesus did when He said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always (John 11:41,42). To pray like this, you must have all stones out of the way.

Elijah knew how to pray because he was so much like Jesus. He was a definite type and shadow of our Lord in Old Testament days. When Elijah was preparing for the Lord to prove Himself before the prophets of Baal, he said a little prayer of just sixty-three words; and fire fell from Heaven. Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God (I Kings 18:38,39). The prophets of Baal had called on their god all day long, screaming, hollering and even cutting themselves trying to get him to answer; but he never did. Why?—because Baal was really just an idol with no ears to hear, no eyes to see and no hands to feel. He had no power whatsoever, and Elijah knew that.

When you pray, you too must believe for the fire to fall or you’ll be wasting your prayers; and that’s not what the Lord wants us to do. When you talk to God, you should feel so close to Him. Don’t talk to Him like He’s afar off because the blood has made Him nigh. He invites you to come to Him at any time. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD (Isaiah 1:18). The Lord wants to talk to His children, and that’s so wonderful!

Connected with Heaven

It’s so nice to have a close friend you can trust completely and enjoy talking to because you know that friend has an understanding heart you can connect with. But how much more should you be able to connect with Jesus? I enjoy talking to Jesus, and I enjoy it when the Holy Spirit connects me with the faith and love of Heaven.

I have such a connection with God through the Spirit of the Lord that God can let me know His very thoughts. I have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying; and I can hear what the angel of the Lord is saying, the one who stands by my side in every miracle service. Whenever you see me praying for the sick, you can know that the angel is by my side. He’s living reality to me, and he’ll tell me ahead of time about miracles that are going to take place.

When I’m conducting overseas crusades, the Lord will show me how the devil plans to try to disturb the services; but we have angel help just as the Word declares we will. Are they [angels] not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14)? Angels gather in our services, and I’ve never had a miracle service at home or abroad that angels have not been a part of.

The Devil’s Stones

Are you getting your stones out of the way? The stone of fear is not of God; that spirit comes from the devil. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (II Timothy 1:7).

Do you carry any grudges? An unforgiving spirit is a big stone, and your victory is right on the other side of that stone; but you have to get it out of the way. You may be so close to your miracle, and you would see it if you could only see beyond that stone. Just roll the stone away, and through faith you will see and feel your miracle. It’s all so very simple.

Bitterness is another stone of the devil, yet some people allow themselves to get so bitter toward God. Some will get bitter when God takes a loved one to Heaven, but that’s an awful stone that has to be moved out of the way. The spirit of discontentment also has to go, but some people aren’t contented being in the presence of God or being by themselves; they think they always have to have other people around. I can’t stay around people for very long without wanting to be with God. I love to be shut in with Him, and it’s during those times that the Lord prepares me to help people. I have to be in His presence, and I even go to sleep in the presence of the Lord; but some of you never think about doing that because you’re too busy thinking about other things. You take stones to bed with you, and that’s no place for even one stone.

The Bible tells us to mark the perfect person, but do you have any stones of criticism? Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace (Psalm 37:37). Don’t look at other people because they can make you doubt. Look at what the Lord is doing; He’s the One you want to move for you. Don’t depend on people; depend on the hand of God.

Get Ready to Receive

Start thinking about the miracle you need, and let the Holy Spirit show you the stone that’s hindering you. He will if you’re sincere and really want to get it out of the way; but if you’re going to excuse yourself, He won’t bother with you about that stone, and you’ll never receive what you need.

We can roll our own stones away by helping others get their stones out of the way. One way we can do that is by the laying on of hands. Jesus said, And these signs shall follow them that believe…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18). The Bible says, The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up (James 5:15). We can help people get their stones out of the way just like people helped Mary and Martha roll that big stone away from Lazarus’ tomb, but the sisters first had to be willing for the stone to go.

The spirit of indifference can be a mammoth stone that stinks in the nostrils of God, and you have to get rid of it. Some of you let the devil battle your mind, but you can’t allow it. There’s power in the Word to deliver your mind and erase any battles or thoughts of the devil. Don’t even entertain his thoughts for one moment because the devil never talks about faith, obedience, love or grace; and why do you want to listen to anything else? You may think you can’t help it, but you can listen to whatever you choose to. When you’re in a crowded room trying to watch television or talk to one particular person, you can completely tune out everyone else. So it is if you want to hear what the Lord has to say—you have to tune out everything and everyone else, including the devil.

It’s time to look up and rejoice. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven (Matthew 5:12). When the Lord told us to rejoice, He meant for us to have the joy of Heaven, the same joy that the angels and the saints of God who have gone on before are enjoying. God offers that same eternal joy to each child of God.

It’s not time to be depressed or to have weak thoughts. The Lord said, Let the weak say, I am strong (Joel 3:10). You’re strong through the blood of Jesus and the power of the Lord. Paul said, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13). Through Jesus, we can do all things. His power defeats all of the powers of the devil, but you’ll never have victory over him if you’re always talking about your weaknesses or sicknesses.

Trust the Divine Blood

If I ever feel any pain in my body, I don’t talk about it; I put it under the blood. I know that there’s help for every pain and that every miracle and every healing comes through the blood. The divine blood brings eternal life to our bodies and our souls. Jesus said, Whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die (John 11:26). Those who will live free from all sin will live forever.

Some of you have great faith, but you don’t realize it. You believe that you’ll live forever in Heaven, but you never consider that the same power that will work for you there is already in your soul. The Bible tells us that God walks inside of us. God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people (II Corinthians 6:16).

The Healer is already inside of those who are born again, but some people are always searching. Others may think, “If I can just get to Ernest Angley, I’ll get a miracle.” They don’t need to get to me; they need to get to Jesus. I just turn people over to Jesus, and every miracle comes about through His blood name.

A man once said to me, “I don’t believe you can heal”; and I replied, “I don’t either.” My answer really shocked him, but I don’t believe I can heal—I believe Jesus heals. I’m just here to help you get the stones out of the way, but you have to be willing for them to be moved. You have to be willing to obey the Lord in everything and want to do His will. You must have a willing heart just as Jesus did in the Garden of Gethsemane when He said, Father…not my will, but thine, be done (Luke 22:42).

God Wants to Deliver You

There’s something for each one of us to do as long as we are here on Earth, so quit grumbling and complaining and do what God wants you to do. If the Israelites had done what God had wanted them to, they would have been in Canaan in eleven days; but instead, millions of them died in the wilderness. Three or four million people came out of Egypt; but all of those over twenty years of age, except Caleb and Joshua, died before they reached the Promised Land. Caleb and Joshua had their stones out of the way, and they wanted to go on into Canaan; but they couldn’t move all of the stones of the people out of the way.

God’s victory and the fulfillment of His promises were on the other side of the stones, but the people wouldn’t listen. God tried everything He could to take them to a land flowing with milk and honey. He proved His great power with the many miracle plagues He sent to deliver them, and He showed He could do anything when He separated the waters of the Red Sea and later rained down food for them from Heaven.

When the Israelites left Egypt, there wasn’t a weak one among them. He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes (Psalm 105:37). Most of the people had been sickly and weak in Egypt because they had been nearly worked to death as slaves, but God’s miracle power had made them all well. Then He gave them the faith they would need for their journey, but they wouldn’t use it. God had tried His best to give them a spirit of love, but they wouldn’t receive it. The people wanted to go back to Egypt rather than move on to Canaan.

Run the Lord’s Race

The Israelites wouldn’t get rid of all of their stones, but we have to get rid of ours if we want Heaven’s best. Stones are weights; and the Bible says, Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us (Hebrews 12:1). We have to get rid of every stone, every weight; or we can’t run the race successfully.

In the Bible, our journey here on Earth is referred to more than once as a race. Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain (I Corinthians 9:24). This doesn’t say walk; it says run, and you will find great benefits at the end of the race.

This one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:13,14). The end of our race is the Rapture, and what a glorious finish that will be. As you run along, you must open your eyes more and more to the coming of the Lord.

Move Oppression Out

On this journey, even small stones or feather-weights will hinder you just as feathers will eventually begin to weigh something down when you keep adding more and more of them. That’s the way it is with the weights that the devil tries to hang on God’s people. Many times, he will start with something as small as a drop from an eyedropper; but his drops keep adding up. Soon, you won’t be able to pray right, fast right or read the Word right. Then you’re in trouble.

It’s not God’s will for you to have stones of oppression and depression. Those are works of the devil, and Jesus came to take them all away. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil (I John 3:8). A child of God cannot be devil possessed, but he or she can be oppressed; and oppression is a big hindrance.

If you’re oppressed, you won’t be able to run the race God wants you to. It will keep you from studying the Word like you should, and through the Word is how you get faith. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). The Word is full of faith; but if you don’t study it, you won’t have the faith you need. The Bible says, God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). Faith is a gift from God, and you can have as much faith as you will reach out for and use.

Jesus Is Our Example

We’re in the final hour, and you have to be completely in step with the Lord. We’re the Rapture generation, and most of you who are reading this message will be alive when the Rapture takes place…but it’s up to you whether or not you make it. Just attending church services won’t get you ready; you have to run the race God has set before you and lay aside every weight just as the Bible tells you to.

How do you run the race?—with your eyes on Jesus. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2). Some of you look at other people and decide that you’re just as good as they are, but do you ever consider that they may not be all that good? If that’s true, then you’re not good either if you’re measuring yourself by them.

We’re to measure ourselves only by Jesus Christ; He’s the true example. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13). How do you measure up to Jesus?—by standing as tall as Jesus did in the Word, in faith, in love, in grace, in gentleness, in goodness and in soul winning. We also have to come into the unity of the faith 100 percent. That faith moves mountains, and it will keep that first love alive in your heart so you will want to do the whole will of God. God offers us so much, but there are still people all over the world who are hungry for the truth. In our overseas crusades, people will stand in the hot sun for hours just waiting for a service to begin. We have to hurry and get the Gospel to all who will hear it.

Keep Your Eyes on God

Are you really looking to Jesus with souls in mind, or are you looking at other people? Do you listen to your family members who say, “If you loved me, you’d spend time with me rather than going to church all the time”? All you need to say to them is, “If you loved me, you’d go to church with me.”

When I got saved, I didn’t pay attention to anybody. I looked only to Jesus, and He has always been my example. I put Him first no matter what is happening with my family or friends; and if you don’t do that, then you’ve lost your first love. Jesus dictated letters to the seven churches through John the Revelator when he was on the Isle of Patmos, and He warned the first church about losing their first love. They had done some wonderful works; but Jesus said, Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love (Revelation 2:4).

That first love comes when you receive salvation; and when you have it, you will work for the Lord with your whole heart. You’ll always be looking for something to do for Him. My wife, Angel, and I came to Akron, Ohio over fifty years ago; and we started this ministry in a big tent. Why?—We had our first love, and we were ready to do anything for Jesus. Because of that willingness to sacrifice, this ministry is now spreading the Gospel all over the world.

Don’t Give Place to the Devil

The battles we faced were not easy, but we weren’t born to have an easy life. We were both marked in our mothers’ wombs to work for the Lord. Angel finished her work ahead of me, and the Lord suddenly called her home—that was His will. She was anointed to go, and she wanted to go. After her death, the Lord told me that He had always planned to take Angel ahead of time and that her going would bring more souls into the Kingdom than if He had left her with me.

Some people will promise the Lord anything, but they don’t really mean it; and it shows in the way they run the race. They let the devil put little stones in their way that show up in their Bible study, in their faith, in their love and in their forgiveness of others. Some will carry a grudge and find it hard to forgive people, but it isn’t hard when you’re full of God’s love. God’s love forgives; so if you don’t have forgiveness, you’re not full of His love.

When you let the devil put stones in your way, you’ll have bitterness and resentment in your heart; and you’ll eventually get to the place where you’ll wonder if God even loves you, or you’ll think He loves others more than He loves you. That’s ridiculous! You have to be like the psalmist and say, Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases (Psalm 103:2,3).

Know the Truth

Jesus gives us the strength and power we need to run the race, and He even tells us what to think on. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8). In spite of this verse, some of you don’t listen to God; and you think on other things more than you do on these six things. You have to think on these things every day.

The Bible says, For as he [a man] thinketh in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7). Whatever you think in your heart will determine the condition you’re in. If you’re in bad shape today, examine your thoughts.

The Holy Spirit has taught me so many things, and He’ll teach you, too. Jesus told the disciples, Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth [the Holy Spirit], is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come (John 16:13). The Lord also said, He [the Holy Spirit] shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (John 14:26).

The Word of God is truth. It was given with power, and it is revealed to us through the Spirit of truth. And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power (Luke 4:32). Jesus was the Word made flesh; and He said, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). He also said, Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32).

You have to know truth, and you have to know the truth about yourself. You can’t listen to gossip or, criticize and judge others. You have to live the truth, speak the truth, sing the truth and pray through the truth. Then you’ll be all right because all of the bad things will leave your soul, your mind and your spirit.

Learn Jesus

It’s sad that many people never know the truth because they don’t learn the real Jesus. They are only taught about a Jesus that man has brought to them but not about the true Jesus of the Bible. Have you learned about the true Jesus and about all of His mighty works? Have you learned why He came to Earth and that because He loved you so much He died for you, that He made a blood line for you that goes straight to the throne of God? The devil never has been and never will be able to destroy that line, and we can call Jesus any time. You can tell Him your troubles; but some people don’t do that, and they take their burdens to the wrong places. They try to unload them on other people, but people don’t need any extra burdens; they already have enough of their own.

Have you learned about the many works Jesus did? John the beloved wrote, And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written (John 21:25). If everything that the Lord did when He was here was written down, the world wouldn’t have enough places to put all of the books it would take to tell about them.

Have you learned that Jesus is the healer? I am the LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26). God made that covenant with the Israelites thousands of years ago. Then He promised them that if they’d live for Him and be holy, He wouldn’t let them get sick in the first place. Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers: And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee (Deuteronomy 7:12,15).

Jesus brought good health for the children of God; but if you always think about sickness and weakness, you’ll be sick and weak. I don’t think about sickness; I think about good health. I don’t think about old age; I think about being young. The Lord said He would renew our youth. Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalm 103:5). I live in my youth while some of you who are still so young are already living in old age. If you want to be strong, you have to think strong. I don’t think about being a senior citizen, and I don’t act like one. What do you think about, and what do you act like?

Think God’s Thoughts

Let’s go back to the thoughts listed in Philippians 4:8. We’ve already talked about the first great thought which is truth. Now, let’s move on to the second one—that which is honest—and that thought leaves a lot of people out. Do you know how much it affects you when you think about someone who has been dishonest or cheated you? The devil will try to keep that person on your mind because those thoughts will get between you and the Lord, and you won’t see Jesus.

The great Apostle Paul didn’t let anyone or anything stand between him and Jesus Christ; but before he was saved, everything stood between them. Paul said he had been the chief of sinners. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief (I Timothy 1:15). But everything changed when Jesus made Paul into a new creation. He gave himself completely into the Lord’s hands; and when he was about to die, he told Timothy, For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith (II Timothy 4:6,7).

The third thing to think on is that which is just, and the word “just” means to be justified. When you’re justified, you won’t have any stones of depression, oppression or despair because justification brings joy unspeakable and full of glory (I Peter 1:8). Paul tells us to rejoice evermore (I Thessalonians 5:16). The Bible tells us more than once to rejoice, but you can’t have a spirit of rejoicing without first being justified.

The fourth thought is purity, and that includes only things that are pure and clean. Think of the righteousness and holiness of God, the purity of the great I-Am, the purity of the saints of God who are headed for Rapture ground, those who are helping to take the Gospel to the whole world.

Worldly Thoughts Are Destructive

The world is full of lust today, and so many people have such lustful thoughts. Now, I’m not referring to those who are tempted but only to those who follow through on their lustful thoughts and go in the wrong direction. When lust conceives, you’ll sin against God; and He will leave you. When lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death (James 1:15).

Temptation is not sin, but acting out that temptation is. Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him (James 1:12). When you’re tempted, don’t let the devil make you think you’re sinning. Turn your thoughts to things that are pure, but that doesn’t mean you’ll never have any bad thoughts. As long as we’re on this Earth, the devil can get to our minds; but he can’t get to our souls.

The divine blood of Jesus shields our souls completely when we’re born again. They’re sealed by the Holy Ghost with divine blood, and no devil or man can get into your soul unless you let them in. Your mind, however, is not sealed. It’s like a little cup, and you have to keep it protected. You have to shoot down the devil’s bad thoughts with good thoughts from the Lord, and you have to get rid of impure thoughts with pure thoughts.

The devil will try to worry you to death with bad thoughts; and then he’ll say, “You might as well go ahead and do it because you’re already thinking about it.” You must be aware that such a statement is the devil’s deceit, and he’s trying to put that seed of deceit over on you; but don’t allow it. You can’t ever listen to the devil. If he tells you that you’re going to die, don’t believe it. If you’re a child of God, the devil has nothing to do with your death. When we’re living in the will of God, we won’t die until it’s God’s time for us to go to Heaven.

The Bible says this about Moses’ death. So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated (Deuteronomy 34:5,7) Even at 120 years old, Moses was not sick or feeble; and he died in the will of God. But if you’re a sinner, you could die at any time.

God’s Thoughts Are Beautiful

The fifth thing Paul told us to think on is things that are lovely, and lovely things bring such beautiful thoughts. The Bible lets us know that we can trade ashes for beauty. He hath sent me…to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified (Isaiah 61:1,3). Beware, because the devil tries to get people to do the opposite and trade beauty for ashes. The devil has no beauty, so ashes are all he has; and he’ll try to cover you up with them if you’ll let him.

When you met Jesus for the first time, you had just two handfuls of ashes. You probably thought you had wild oats to sow, and you were planning to have a big, wonderful time in the world; but when you found Calvary, you looked at those ashes and threw them down like they were hot coals of fire on your flesh. Then you traded those ugly ashes for beauty, and your life became lovely. Children of God can look at the purity in their hearts today and say with the psalmist, I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Thank God for the divine blood!

How much do you think on the blood, on your salvation or on how the Holy Spirit works through you, blesses you and helps you? When you look at people who are truly holy, they’re lovely to you and to God. Keep your eyes on them and on the beauty of God that shows up in the many ways He blesses His children today. You can see the beauty of Heaven all around you in nature; but it also shows in consecrated, dedicated lives that are prayed up and fasted up. The light of Heaven shines through the eyes of God’s saints.

The last of these six thoughts is things that are of a good report. How many bad things do you think about—bad debts, bad people, bad conversations, bad actions—when good reports are all you need? If somebody calls you on the telephone and wants to gossip, you must tell that person that you have no time for what he or she has to say, even if it’s your own mother. It may insult her at the time, but it may help to save her soul later.

Things of good report include when you got saved, when you changed and took on the image of Lord God Almighty. Think about people who are living holy, who are on their way to Heaven and who are doing God’s will. Those people will be the ones who are talking about love, grace, righteousness and purity.

Don’t think you’re backslidden because bad thoughts come to your mind or you get depressed and oppressed. Instead, think, “This is not my heritage; this is not what God wants for me. Lord, you blessed Abraham and made him a blessing, and you promised to bless me and make me a blessing.”

You Have to Live Holy

We have to be pure and clean before God. Paul said, For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness (I Thessalonians 4:7). Some people despise the word holiness, but that’s because they’re not holy. Peter said, Be ye holy; for I [the Lord] am holy (I Peter 1:16). When a sinner goes to Calvary, the Lord will make that person holy; and only those who live in the holiness and righteousness of God will ever see His face. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).

Since the time when Adam and Eve sinned, no man or woman has ever seen the face of God except by looking into the face of Jesus. Jesus said, He that hath seen me hath seen the Father (John 14:9). Until we get to Heaven, no one will ever look upon God’s face. He told Moses, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live (Exodus 33:20). But those saints who have gone on before us can look on the face of God because they are as holy as God Himself.

Live on the promises of God, and don’t have any stones in your way. You have to run the race with a vivid vision of the coming of the Lord; and as you pray, pray with all the energy and power you would be using if you knew it was just ten minutes until Rapture time. One of these days, that time will come; and when it does, I want to be somewhere working for my Lord. I want to be gathering in the last souls of the harvest.

Be Happy in the Lord

Children of God, some of you let the devil worry you with little stones; and he makes you think you can’t get rid of them—but you can. Never forget this message because the Lord wants you to be happy, and He wants to bless you night and day. He doesn’t want you to have nightmares; He wants you to sleep the peaceful sleep of an innocent child. That’s why you must think pure, lovely and holy thoughts.

When you think on only the truth, you’ll have the glory of the Lord shining through you all the time; and that glory will heal you of every sickness and disease. It will bring you out of deep valleys of depression, oppression, doubt, fear, frustration and despair. It’s not the will of God for you to have those awful conditions—all of that is the work of the devil, and you should never want to have any part of him.

The Gospel is a happy Book for those who will obey God, and it’s a guiding Book for those who will walk in the footsteps of Jesus. When you follow Him, you’ll never lose your way. Heaven will be real to you; and no matter what comes your way, you will know that victory is yours. Just as the Hebrew boys saw the Fourth Man in the furnace, so must you; and when you have all of your stones out of the way, you will see Him.

I always see four, and the Fourth Man is the One I keep my eyes upon. He’s the One who brought me salvation, the good Holy Ghost and gave me my ticket to Glory; and He’s the One who is coming to receive us unto Himself very soon. If you’re ready to go in the Rapture, you should be happy in the Lord; and you should look like it, act like it, pray like it and think like it.

Believe for a Miracle

There’s something for each one of us to do, but are you ready to do it? Are all of your stones out of the way? If not, I’ve come to help you move them. You may be in the last stages of cancer or you may have AIDS, but that doesn’t matter because whole families are being healed of AIDS today through this Jesus ministry. We’re documenting the cases to prove through medical science that people are definitely being healed. People are being healed of diabetes, heart trouble, lung trouble, leprosy and strokes. Deformed children are being made whole. It’s wonderful what God will do for us when we get the stones out of the way.

Lord, help them now. In the name of Jesus I come with blood power from On High; and in the blood name of Jesus, I impart life into their sick bodies. Heal! in the blood name of Jesus. Heal! in the holy name of the Lord. That divine power is now flowing. It’s the same power that brought Lazarus out of the tomb, so let it heal you right now and give you life.

I’m not your healer; these gifts are from Heaven, and the Holy Spirit operates them through my life. That’s why multitudes are healed, and I thank God for His greatness. Jesus came with healing in His wings to heal the people. But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings (Malachi 4:2). I love you, and Jesus loves you; so be thou made whole.

You Can Be Free

Sinner, Backslider, you have to get all of the world’s stones out of the way. Say this prayer right now; and if you mean it, the Lord will save you. Oh, God, I’m lost. I’m in the darkness of night. I have sinned against you, and I’m not worthy to go to your Heaven. I’m unclean, but you died for me. I know you love me or you would not have died for me; and I know you will forgive me because you said that if I would repent with godly sorrow, you would wash away all of my sins. I am so sorry, and I believe that the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in!

If you meant that prayer, Jesus has come. Always remember to pray, fast and live in the Word; and you’ll make it. Serve the Lord and get well, but remember to always give the Lord all of the glory. Take ye away the stone because your victory is on the other side of the stone.

Write and tell me what happened to you today, and I will rejoice with you. God bless.
