Throughout the Bible, the Word speaks of seeds—seeds of man, seeds of animals, seeds of trees, seeds of faith, seeds of deceit and many more—and seeds can be physical or spiritual. Seeds are little units of reproduction; and throughout this message, you must remember these two things about them: First, one little seed, good or bad, has the power to grow into something much larger than itself. Second, a seed sown will not reproduce if it is not fertilized.

Good and bad seeds are sown into our minds every day; and they are fertilized when you willingly take them into your mind to be digested, broken down and absorbed in your spirit. That is why you have to be very careful about what you look at, watch or listen to.

When you accept a bad seed by meditating on it or even believing it, it will stay with you; and that is dangerous. When bad seeds come your way, you must immediately get rid of them because they are of the devil. The Bible tells us, Neither give place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27).

When Jesus was here, He said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit (John 12:24). Jesus was speaking of the life He would give for us. His flesh body had to die before life would come forth; and for us, self has to die if we want the divine fruits to be manifested in our lives.

Seeds can be very small and seemingly insignificant, but a little seed can produce great things when it is fertilized and given the right conditions. A mustard seed is the smallest of all seeds, but Jesus had this to say about it: Another parable put he [Jesus] forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof (Matthew 13:31,32).

Never think that just because a seed is small it cannot affect you in a great way. And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you (Luke 17:6). Sycamore trees grow very large and spread out, and Jesus was telling the people that one little seed of faith can do the same thing. Even the smallest seed of divine faith, if used, can have power over the biggest of problems.

Seeds of Unbelief

What kind of seeds do you allow into your mind? What do you give consideration or attention to? What kind of thoughts do you harbor? What you allow into your mind is voluntary; it is a choice you make. You also have a choice as to who you socialize with or allow into your home. All of those things will determine what kind of seeds get into your mind and how you will react when troubles come.

You need to be aware that there are many kinds of dangerous seeds, and one of those is the seed of unbelief. The Bible tells us that in the time of the Early Church, the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against the brethren (Acts 14:2). Just one seed of unbelief had an evil effect on many.

You are not obligated to accept the things people say, so never allow man or the devil to plant seeds of unbelief in your mind. Just because something makes sense in the natural does not mean it will not affect you in the wrong way. You can’t even entertain a tiny seed of unbelief because it will make your mind evil affected against the Word of truth and destroy you. Your heart will grow hard toward the things of God, and then many of His blessings will pass you by. Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God (Hebrews 3:12).

Jesus had walked with the disciples so much, but they still had seeds of unbelief about His resurrection. After He had been resurrected, He appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen (Mark 16:14). Many of Christ’s close disciples wouldn’t accept His resurrection at first, and people today are the same way about the coming of the Lord.

God cannot work with unbelief. When Jesus had returned to His own country, the Bible says, He did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief (Matthew 13:58). God only works with divine faith and divine love, and those things will work no matter what others say. For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar (Romans 3:3,4).

Many people today are full of unbelief and are unconcerned about the things of God just as most people were in Noah’s day. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart (Genesis 6:5,6).

God decided to destroy mankind, but He saw the faithfulness of Noah and his family; and He made a way for them to escape. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith (Hebrews 11:7). Noah and his family did not grumble and complain or have doubt and fear. They knew God needed them, and they worked for Him.

Bitterness Has to Go

Bitterness is another destructive seed. When you allow a seed of bitterness to linger and be fertilized, it will take root and grow and defile many. Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled (Hebrews 12:15).

The seed of bitterness is one that takes root and springs up quickly. It then spreads out, seeking to wrap its suffocating vines around every branch it comes in contact with. Bitterness is an aggressive vine that defiles, pollutes, corrupts, mars and spoils the beauty of many of the branches of the tree—a child of God. Then it goes on to spoil other children of God as well.

Bitterness bears fruit in the form of grudges—deep-seated resentment or ill will. Grudges are an ugly fruit that have destroyed millions who are in hell today. Paul said, Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice (Ephesians 4:31). When you allow the seed of bitterness to be fertilized, you give it permission to overpower good seeds such as those of divine faith and love; and then there is nothing God can do for you. You have to want to come out of it before He can help you.

Many people get bitter toward God because they think God has treated others better than He has treated them. That thought is ridiculous; and it comes from the devil, who is a liar. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it (John 8:44).

When a seed of bitterness is dropped into your mind, you must immediately cast it aside. Don’t allow your flesh appetite to cause you to take it in, taste it or chew on it. Many people allow bitterness to get into their hearts, and it destroys them. If someone hurts you, quickly make things right by following God’s instructions given in His Word.

You must let the truth be magnified rather than any seeds of bitterness. Let faith break down any hard shells of unbelief or bitterness so the good seeds of truth can grow and flourish and bear more precious seed in your mind. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves [lost souls] with him (Psalm 126:6). Never let bad seeds take over your mind. Rise up against them and destroy them with the divine blood.

Gossip Is Deadly

Many people think gossip and talebearing are harmless little seeds. They think it is okay to listen to what others say; but when they take that garbage in and digest it, that little flame of gossip soon becomes a consuming fire that destroys everything. Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth (Proverbs 26:20).

A gossip is one who always wants to reveal personal or sensational information about others, to spread rumors and reports of an intimate nature. Some people may say they are just telling the truth, but would they want somebody telling such truths about them?

No one has any right to gossip about others, and God hates gossip. How many good reputations have been destroyed through the seed of gossip? A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends (Proverbs 16:28). Whisperers tell things which are sinful and terrible, and God despises them. Thus saith the Lord, you can just do that so much; and then you will blaspheme.

If you blaspheme against the Holy Ghost, God will never love or care about you anymore. You become as one who is dead in the eyes of God. He told me one day, “I can hate as much as I can love.” That shocked me because that is a lot of hate, but God said it; so I believe it. Nevertheless, some people are going to gossip until they die and go to hell.

The Bible says you will reap what you sow. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the [Holy] Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting (Galatians 6:7,8). You definitely do not want to reap what a gossip will reap.

Don’t Listen

True children of God must not have time to listen to gossip or anything else that hinders the work of God. The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly [signifying it affects your whole body] . Burning lips and a wicked heart are like a potsherd [broken pieces of pottery] covered with silver dross [scum] (Proverbs 26:22,23). You must stay away from people who have hearts that are covered with scum and hinder God’s people. They are more dangerous to you than dynamite.

When a person passes gossip on to you and you take it in, you allow the power of those words to churn inside of you. Then you share those words with others, and they add their opinions to the turbulence already going on inside you. The seed continues to grow until everyone around you is affected. You can hinder people in your own home who may be on the verge of coming to the Lord, and you can even hinder your own prayers.

He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not [have nothing to do] with him that flattereth with his lips (Proverbs 20:19). Some of you feel like you have to be friendly to everybody; so when someone calls you and begins to unload on you, you listen. If a garbage truck would dump its load on your front lawn, you would have a fit; yet you let people dump their nasty talk on you. You can’t allow it even if they are your own family members.

Some gossipers may claim to be a Christian; but the Bible says, If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain (James 1:26). If someone comes to your door with seeds of gossip, you have permission from God to close the door in their face no matter who they are. If they call you, hang up on them; and don’t pay attention to their texts either. If you do, you are listening to idle talk; and all idle talk is of the devil.

If you think such garbage does not affect you, you are being deceived, saith the Lord. The Bible says that our conversation is to be the same as it will be in Heaven. For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:20). It also says that Jesus is coming after a Bride without spot, wrinkle or blemish. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:27). A blemish can be very tiny, but it will still keep you from going in the Rapture.

Deceit Ruined God’s Perfect Plan

The seed of deceit can be found in the very first book of the Bible. It was a seemingly no-harm seed, but it brought death to the whole human race. God had warned Adam and Eve about that seed just like He is warning people today, yet Adam and Eve accepted that seed; and many people are doing the same thing today.

Now the serpent was more subtil [deceiving and cunning] than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden (Genesis 3:1)? Eve never should have listened to the serpent, and people today should never listen to the “serpent talk” of the devil either because it will turn them away from God and cause them to blaspheme against the Holy Ghost.

And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die (Genesis 3:2,3). The devil will make you think the wrong things just as he did Eve because the truth is not in him.

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil (Genesis 3:4,5). That one lie destroyed mankind.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat (Genesis 3:6). The devil can make things look so good, and Eve accepted and digested his seed of deceit.

Then Adam and Eve tried to cover themselves with fig leaves because they realized they were naked. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons (Genesis 3:7). They had never realized they were naked until their eyes were opened by the devil. False religion was first introduced in the Garden of Eden.

Beware of Deceit

There is so much false religion today in which people think they are going to Heaven when they are really going straight to hell. Nothing will save them but the blood that was spilled on Calvary. And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission (Hebrews 9:22). Not one sin will ever get into Heaven.

When you listen to people who say the wrong things, you will be swept into what they are saying little by little; and you will be receiving their seeds of deceit. When you accept one of those seeds of deceit by choice, it produces more and more deceit; and it deceives you and others.

In this end-time hour, seeds of deceit are being sown everywhere. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived (II Timothy 3:13). Many people are deceived, and they are deceiving others. That is why Jesus told the disciples, Take heed [watch, be careful] that no man deceive you (Matthew 24:4). Whatever seeds you allow into your heart, even a seemingly harmless amount, are going to grow and spread and cause a change in your life and in your soul.

You may know not to let seeds of deceit get into your heart, but you must not allow them into your mind either. If you let deceiving seeds get into your mind, your mind won’t think the way God wants it to; and we are to think like Jesus thought when He was here. The Bible says we can have the mind of Christ. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ (I Corinthians 2:16).

If you are troubled in your mind, you can get rid of it by taking on the mind of Christ. Some of you ruin your health because you don’t turn things over to God. You could have perfect peace in your mind and perfect miracles for your body; but instead, the devil fights you with depression, despair and tells you that you might not be saved or ready to go to Heaven. You may try to hide it from others because you don’t want them to know how you are feeling, but God knows all about it.

Deadly Leaven

The Bible speaks of leaven; and just as seeds grow and make new plants, a little bit of yeast, also called leaven, grows and makes dough expand. When a leavening agent is added to dough, it causes fermentation—a state of turbulence and agitation that changes things from one form to another—and it only takes a small amount of leaven to affect a whole lump of dough. That is why the Bible says, A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump (Galatians 5:9).

Leaven causes continual activity within the dough, but you cannot see it working until it has spread throughout the whole lump. It is the same way with seeds—you cannot see them germinating until a plant springs forth; so in a spiritual sense, seeds and leaven begin as something small and then grow until they affect the whole person as well as those around them.

The Pharisees and Sadducees were full of bad seeds and bad leaven, and Jesus knew it. He said, But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in (Matthew 23:13). They were wrong, and they were hindering others; and Jesus warned the disciples about them saying, Take heed and beware of the leaven [bad seeds] of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees (Matthew 16:6).

At first, the disciples thought Jesus was referring to the leaven of bread because they had taken no bread with them; but they soon realized He was referring to the Pharisees’ and Sadducees’ deceitful workings and activities of evil that were hidden but spreading among the people. Those things were more dangerous than any disease. Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees (Matthew 16:12).

That leaven was hypocrisy; and Jesus said, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy (Luke 12:1). The Pharisees and Sadducees appeared to be religious and extremely harmless; but inwardly, they were full of wickedness, and their doctrine was very dangerous. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves (Matthew 7:15).

Jesus hated the Pharisees and the Sadducees because their hypocrisy was destroying many people. But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi (Matthew 23:5-7).

Heed Godly Warnings

With the mind of the Lord, I have warned people about things that were not right down through the years; but because they did not see the impending danger with their own eyes, they disregarded my warnings and wound up in trouble and full of heartache.

I have warned people not to fellowship with unbelievers because the Bible teaches against it, but they don’t all take heed. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you (II Corinthians 6:14-17).

When people leave the truth and begin fighting against the Lord, you are not to go after them; and if you do, you are in trouble with God. Many people do not see any harm or danger in compromising, and they think they can handle themselves; so they mix and mingle with the wrong people even when they are warned not to. The next thing you know, the bad seeds of hypocrisy and unbelief spread until those seeds change them; and they too leave God’s work.

A hypocrite does not care about bringing forth good things from a pure heart; he only cares about making an outward show. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things (Matthew 12:35). Those evil things uncover the hypocrite for who he is, and hypocrites worship the Lord in vain. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men (Matthew 15:9).

God hates the seed of hypocrisy because it destroys souls. An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered (Proverbs 11:9). Only through the truth can people be delivered.

Never Live in Your Feelings

Seeds of hurt can destroy people. Instead of forgiving those who hurt their feelings, many people let the hurt turn over and over in their hearts and minds. It continues to grow until it eventually consumes them, and they rise up with a vengeful heart. When people hurt you, you must turn it over to God who said, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord (Romans 12:19).

When things don’t go your way, do you make the first move to be a part of the answer by following God’s instructions, or do you dwell on the wrong or supposed wrong that was done to you? If you have been offended, do your hurt feelings have to be mended before you make a move to consider God’s thoughts on the matter? You must make the first move to do what is right and be willing to respond correctly to what God wants.

You may say, “But that person hurt me!” Big deal. If you have been offended, keep your feelings to yourself. Thank God for the persecution and go on. Don’t let self rise up and hinder God from blessing you.

Paul said, When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things (I Corinthians 13:11). Do you act childish at any time? If so, do you want to remain a child in actions the rest of your life? I have met many Christians who never grew up, and they get hurt by every little thing. Then they pout, whimper and cry just to get attention. Those who are married will never have a good marriage when they act like that.

You will be hurt in this life, but you cannot live in your feelings. If somebody hurts you, don’t make a big deal of it or dwell upon it. You must pray for them and then turn everything over to the Lord who said, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28). Instead of tossing to and fro when you are supposed to be sleeping, take your burdens to the Lord.

Jesus said, In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33). The Bible also says, God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it (I Corinthians 10:13). This means that when you are in a valley of hurt and persecution, and it seems you can’t take anymore, you actually can take some more if the Lord does not provide you with a way of escape. God knows when it is enough, and Job knew that. That is why he said, He [God] knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold (Job 23:10).

You Must Forgive

You cannot hold grudges when people hurt you; you must forgive. Jesus was the first one to show what forgiveness was all about when, through His love and grace, He brought salvation and forgiveness to us while we were yet sinners. In whom we have redemption through his blood [that was shed on Calvary] , the forgiveness of [all] sins, according to the riches of his grace (Ephesians 1:7).

Jesus did not think about giving us what we deserved; He voluntarily accepted the will of the Father. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). We are saved only through divine grace, and Jesus is the only one who could have made it possible. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

You cannot hold anything against anybody. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses (Matthew 6:14,15). You must have plenty of God’s love; and when you need more, all you have to do is ask for it. Jesus said, And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive (Matthew 21:22). You can cover anything with divine love.

You must make the first move to forgive others; don’t wait for them to ask you for it. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you (Ephesians 4:32). If you don’t forgive others, the Lord won’t forgive you; and God is justified in all that He does. Jesus said, Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven (Luke 6:37).

Stephen knew how to forgive; and when he was being stoned to death for the sake of Christ, he said, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep (Acts 7:59,60).

When misunderstandings and dissentions arise, make the first move to be a peacemaker. Jesus said, Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God (Matthew 5:9). God’s holy children make peace. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).

Paul said, Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another (Romans 14:19). Do you edify the people around you, or do you say things that are out of order and that you have no business saying? Do you say things that Jesus would never say?

Jesus came all the way from Glory to show you life and to give you life, and that is not His kind of life when you say things that hurt people and work against them. Those who don’t make peace cause confusion, and the devil is the author of confusion. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints (I Corinthians 14:33).

Never Worry

Do you have seeds of worry? Are you constantly considering your problems, or do you reach beyond your need and consider God’s promises and provisions? Jesus asked, Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature (Matthew 6:27)? Of course, that is impossible for man to do. Then Jesus went on to say, And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed [not dressed] like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith (Matthew 6:28-30)?

Jesus was teaching the disciples to live by faith just as we are to do. Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed (Matthew 6:31)? God has promised to take care of these things, and He wants you to know that.

Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls (Luke 12:24)? The birds don’t have any storehouses or barns, yet they don’t doubt that they will be fed. They wake up early every day, and they don’t wait to see what kind of day it will be before they begin singing their hearts out. But some of you don’t sing or even pray all morning, so it is no wonder you have a bad afternoon.

You must start the day talking to the Lord, and Jesus and the Holy Ghost will be right there ready to make intercession to the Father for you. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26). It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us (Romans 8:34).

You Will Be Tried

Once you get rid of all the bad seeds, you will be sifted and tested; but what changes will take place within you when trials come? Will they make you grow in the Lord, or will they cause you to rise up in self and run?

God wanted to use Simon Peter in a great way to feed His sheep, but Peter was too confident in his own abilities; so God allowed Peter to be sifted and tried because his self-boasting needed to go. And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death. And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice [three times] deny that thou knowest me (Luke 22:31-34). And that is exactly what Peter did.

After Peter had denied Jesus three times, the Bible says, And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And Peter went out, and wept bitterly (Luke 22:61,62). Imagine how Peter must have felt when Jesus, bruised and beaten, looked at him. He ran out and wept bitterly.

Your testing or sifting may last for a while before it can work in you that which is well pleasing in God’s sight. You may not understand what is going on at the time; but if you want God’s will and are willing to let Him work, you must rise to the occasion God has called you to and let Him make you perfect. Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen (Hebrews 13:20,21).

You must want God to work in you according to His will whether you enjoy doing what He wants you to or not. Just think of all He has done for you, and that will take the sting out of anything.

You must let the Holy Spirit produce all of His fruits in you. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering [perfect patience] , gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law (Galatians 5:22,23). The Lord wants to use all those fruits for us and through us. He puts them on the table daily for us. They are within our reach, and we can have all of them.

When you take in the right kind of seeds and let them grow, they will kill out all the things that are against God in your life; so you don’t have to fear the devil or worry about anything. You can have the joy, the peace, the love, the goodness and the greatness of God; and then you must use them. They are all available through the Holy Ghost, and He will operate them through you.

The Early Church had the Early Rain of the Spirit, but we now have the Latter Rain; and the Lord said that the Latter Rain will be the greatest. And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh (Acts 2:17).

The Kingdom Is Growing

When the seeds of the Gospel are sown, the Kingdom spreads and grows; and that is exactly what is happening today. However, we can see so little of what is going on with our natural eyes. Jesus said, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it. And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened (Luke 13:18-21).

Souls are being saved; people are being healed, and the poor are hearing the Gospel truth. We may never know the magnitude of it all until we get to Heaven, but you can be assured that the seeds of the Gospel are going forth and working in the hearts and minds of people all over the world; and the Kingdom of God is really growing in this hour.

You must know that not only do you need God, but He needs you, too. That is why He made us members of the family of God. Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons [or daughters] of God (I John 3:1). We are joint-heirs with Christ. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:16,17). That means we are equal with Him in rewards.

In this worldwide Jesus outreach ministry, we have no idea how many thousands of souls are being changed by the seeds of the Gospel we are sending forth; but we don’t have to know how many to keep moving forward. Doing God’s will is what should move us forward.

When Jesus was here, someone asked Him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able (Luke 13:23,24). He directed the person to focus on what it takes to really be saved rather than on how many were being saved.

Jesus also said, Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it (Matthew 7:13,14). That strait gate is open to us, and the Holy Spirit will direct each person who wants to find it; but only one person can go through at a time. Nobody can take another person through that gate.

You must concentrate on what God has called you to do—spread the Gospel. The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation to all those who will receive it. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth (Romans 1:16).

The Gospel will continue to grow and spread until it affects a whole group, a whole church and the whole world. What kind of Gospel are you putting forth?

Accept Only Truth

The seed of truth is the only seed you should take in and digest. If you allow even a little untruth or false doctrine to get in, it will work and work on you until God’s Word no longer has any effect. Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered (Mark 7:13).

You must get hungry for the Word, dine on it and digest it. Then when you are full of the seed of truth, you will not only be a hearer of the truth in the Word but a doer. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed (James 1:23-25).

You must spend much time studying the Word. Take it into your mind and spirit, and then hold fast to it just as Paul instructed many to do. Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers (Titus 1:9). Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus (II Timothy 1:13). Prove all things; hold fast that which is good (I Thessalonians 5:21). When you prove the Word, you will see that it will stand any test.

When trying situations arise, you must be quick to go to the Word of God and let it build you up. And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified [made holy] (Acts 20:32). That inheritance makes you rich beyond compare.

Put the Word into action, and let it prevail in all situations just as it did in the beginning of the Church. So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed (Acts 19:20). The Early Church disciples were quick to put the Word into action, and it overcame all the powers of the devil.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). That is one of the greatest verses in the whole Bible, and it shows just how powerful the Word is…and that Word will never pass away. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matthew 24:35). The Word is eternal; you can depend on it forever.

Having the Word ourselves is not enough. We have to pass it on to others. Peter knew that; and he said, Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth. Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle [in his Earth body] , to stir you up by putting you in remembrance (II Peter 1:12,13).

Paul told Timothy, If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine [the truth] , whereunto thou hast attained (I Timothy 4:6).

A mind is like a cup—it can only hold a certain amount at any one time—but a soul can hold the whole Godhead and all of Heaven. There is no limit to what the soul can hold, and that is why you must fill it with good things.

Use Divine Love

Along with seeds of truth should come seeds of love; and without divine love, we are nothing. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing (I Corinthians 13:2).

When you have divine love, you will be kind to others just as the Bible says we should be. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another (Romans 12:10). You will have patience with others. Charity [love] suffereth long, and is kind (I Corinthians 13:4). Jesus had love and patience, and we are to be like Him. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps (I Peter 2:21).

No matter how much we are persecuted, we must stay in the steps of Jesus; and His love will help us do that. Then we must be examples of Him. Be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity [love] , in spirit, in faith, in purity (I Timothy 4:12).

If you want to prosper in the Lord, you must entertain His love commands given in His Word. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father [Jehovah God] , and I will love him, and will manifest [reveal] myself to him (John 14:21). Some people have God’s commandments, but they do not keep them. God will manifest Himself to all those who will allow His Word to churn up and down in their souls.

You can never go wrong when you follow the Word because the Word does not make mistakes. People are the ones who make mistakes by not living by the Word. It has all the direction you will ever need. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct [all] thy paths (Proverbs 3:5,6).

When you take in only good seeds of the Lord, you will give no place to the devil; and you will be able to resist him. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Never give the devil any of your time. Just rebuke him with the blood of Jesus, and he will have to go.

We Must Win Souls

The Bible says, He that winneth souls is wise [God-wise] (Proverbs 11:30); and the Lord is making us soul winners. You must be willing to sacrifice so you won’t miss one soul the Lord has marked for you to win. If the Lord wants me to pray for somebody, He knows He can wake me up at any hour. When He does, that means someone is in distress, sick or can’t sleep; and they need help. I am the little shepherd under the Great Shepherd, Jesus; and I carry souls in my heart wherever I go.

Through divine love and patience, we must hold lost souls in our hands. The Lord said that one soul was worth more than all the wealth of the world, so we must not let even one fall through our fingers and go to hell if we can help it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul (Matthew 16:26)?

Each soul is special, and God will help you win each one marked for you if there is any way at all to do that; but you are the instrument He must use. Those souls will cross your path at one time or another during your life here on Earth, and you may only have a few moments of time to reach them; but God will be there to help you reach them. We have to try our best to save everybody we can from a devil’s hell.

There will be many people who will not listen to our message; but they will regret it as the endless ages roll when they find themselves in hell, never to be delivered from that awful place. The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God (Psalm 9:17).

The Lord gets us ready for whatever He wants us to do, and every day and night we must put ourselves into His hands. You must tell the Lord that you will pay the price no matter what it costs to win the lost. I promised God that I would pay any price for His power to help people, and I have never backed down.

Let God Use You

You must not have one bad seed in this last hour. You must get rid of all bad and weak thoughts and cast down all imaginations that are not of God. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (II Corinthians 10:5).

You must not hold onto anything that is not of God. Paul said, Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck (I Timothy 1:19). When you hold to divine faith, the devil can’t take it from you. He will try to tempt you to let go of it, but you don’t have to. He can only steal it if you are willing to let him have it.

Some people are afraid to use faith, but they should be afraid not to use it. The Bible says, Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul (Hebrews 10:38,39).

If you do not use faith, you will live in fear; and that displeases God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6).

You must look to God every day and examine yourself. Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves (II Corinthians 13:5). Don’t examine other people; examine yourself. Is there anything wrong in your life? When you come to the end of a day, you must want to know whether or not you have done all that God wanted you to do.

We are God’s hands on this Earth; will you finish His work? Your hands must be connected to your heart; and your heart must be connected with the hearts of Lord God Almighty, Jesus and the Holy Ghost. God wants to work through every member of the bridal company in perfection. He wants to get everything out of us that He possibly can.

Sometimes, there are things in our lives that need to be sifted out so that God can use us as His own hands, His own eyes and His own tongue. God wants to do His perfect work, so we cannot have one hindrance. We have been bought with a great price, and we are not our own. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price (I Corinthians 6:19,20).

When God can’t work through us to do His perfect will, He will not get the glory out of our lives that He wants to and deserves. We must say, “Lord, do whatever you want with me. I want your perfect will for the rest of the journey.” We have to be willing for God to use us anytime, anywhere and any place; and we must allow Him to deliver whatever He wants to say through us.

The Blood Washes Away All Bad Seeds

If you don’t have Jesus in your heart today, pray the sinner’s prayer right now. Oh, God, I am lost. I am so sorry that I sinned against you, but I have come home. I am going to serve you, Lord, for the rest of my life. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins! Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in.

If you meant that prayer, He has come; and He is yours. Fast, pray and live in the Word of God. Those three steps will keep you close to the Lord so one day, Heaven will be yours.

Now, you must go on to the Upper Room and be baptized in the precious Holy Ghost. God has told me three definite times that those who are alive when the Rapture takes place will have to have the baptism of the Holy Ghost to be taken. God let me know that it will take more power to go with Jesus when He comes for His Bride than it will to go by way of the grave.

If you are saved and living free from all sin when you die, you will go to Heaven. But you can be free from all sin and still not have the power needed to change you in a split second when Jesus comes. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you (Romans 8:11).

The Lord said He is coming for those who are watching for Him to come; but if you think you are watching when you don’t have the Holy Ghost, the devil is fooling you. You may think you will go in the Rapture, but you won’t. You may think you have plenty of time, but you don’t.

Healing Can Be Yours

If you need healing today, agree with me in prayer now. I am not the healer; Jesus is, but I believe in the power of divine prayer. Lord, I bring those with cancer, heart trouble, diabetes, paralysis and those who are crippled to you. I bring all those who are in need of healing for anything to you. Lord, you can cure all sicknesses and diseases, even little babies who were born with just part of a brain. You have healed so many of those conditions, and I believe, Lord, you will do it again. Heal! Heal, in the holy name of the Lord, I pray.

God’s healing power is flowing. Can you feel His presence now? The Holy Spirit is injecting the greatness of God into your body or into the body of the one you are praying for if you will only believe. Now, watch yourself or your loved one get well.

Ask what you will; take whatever you need, and then close your case. The Lord creates and re-creates, and He has promised to renew our youth. You must embrace the promises of God and live by them. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Proverbs 103:2-5).

The Lord is reaching out to you today with armfuls on purpose and calling you unto Himself.
