Jesus said, And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come (Matthew 24:14). As children of God, our mission is to win as many souls as possible before Jesus returns on Rapture Day; but you first must be saved yourself before you will be able to save others.

We live in perilous times, and there are dangers all around us. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come (II Timothy 3:1). The spirit of the Antichrist is already taking over the world. It is a spirit that opposes anything that has to do with God, and it is seeking to deceive every child of God it can.

Paul described this time we now live in saying, For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy (II Timothy 3:2). Children are so arrogant today, and they no longer respect and honor their parents. Instead, they throw fits, talk back to and sass them.

Paul continued, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good (II Timothy 3:3). Some children of God are despised by members of their own family, but they must be steadfast and unmovable in the love of God.

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God (II Timothy 3:4). Many people no longer go to church because they are too busy pleasing themselves. Even a good number of those who do go don’t serve God the way they should. Paul described them as having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts (II Timothy 3:5,6).

Protect Yourself

This is the most devilish age that has ever been on Earth, so how can you keep yourself on God’s narrow path and never allow the enemy to get an advantage over you? The Bible says, Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine [the Word]; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee (I Timothy 4:16).

There are three things you need to pay attention to in this verse. First, take heed unto yourself. That means you must pay careful attention to yourself and be alert to avoid the pitfalls of carelessness and negligence. The Bible also tells you to examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates (II Corinthians 13:5)?

The second thing is to take heed…unto the doctrine, the Word. You have to long for the Word and study it. You have to be a doer of it and not just a hearer. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed (James 1:23-25).

The third thing is to continue in them. You have to continually take heed to yourself and to the Word. Be steadfast in them and let them become life to you because that is the only way you will be able to save yourself and others.

Always Press On

Not every person who starts a race wins a crown. And in this spiritual race we are in, only those who take heed to themselves and to the Word and endure until the end will win. And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully [in the Jesus love laws] (II Timothy 2:5).

You have to live the way Jesus brought and taught. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses [the people all around us], let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us (Hebrews 12:1).

You will never be able to run the race as God wants you to without putting your past behind you as Paul did. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:13,14). Good things are before you, so you must keep moving forward with God.

Paul never felt like he could rest on what he had accomplished and take it easy. He continually pressed on, and he never gave place to the devil. Neither give place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27). Why?—because the Bible says, The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:20).

Be on Guard

Jesus warned people many times to take heed, and here are just a few of His warnings. Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven (Matthew 6:1). You must give offerings to the Lord through love and not to be seen of man.

Jesus told the disciples, Take heed that no man deceive you (Matthew 24:4). You have to be careful who you associate with no matter where you are. Even the devil goes to church.

He also told them, Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness (Luke 11:35). Never let the Gospel light in your life go out. If you listen to the devil, you will find yourself in the darkness of deceit. Idle talk is his language, and people who gossip are using that language. They may think they are going to Heaven, but they are deceived.

In speaking to a large multitude, Jesus said, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth (Luke 12:15). Some people consider their possessions to be their life, but that is not real life. Only God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost bring true life.

Jesus spoke in the temple, And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged [overtaken] with surfeiting [excess], and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares (Luke 21:34). You can never allow yourself to be careless.

All of these warnings come from the Word of God, and His Word will never die. But the word of the Lord endureth forever (I Peter 1:25). Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away (Luke 21:33).

Warnings from Paul

Paul also warned people to take heed of certain things. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon (I Corinthians 3:10). Paul was laying the Gospel foundation for those who would listen, but he knew they would have to be careful how they built on that foundation.

Paul warned the Romans, For if God spared not the natural branches [the Jews], take heed lest he also spare not thee (Romans 11:21). God will not spare the unrighteous no matter who they are. You have to walk softly before the Lord and listen to what the Spirit is saying.

The Bible says seven times, He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith (Revelation 2:7,11,17,29; 3:6,13,22). Obey what the Holy Spirit tells you, and never let the devil clog your ears with doubt, fear or frustration

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall (I Corinthians 10:12). Just thinking you are all right doesn’t mean you are. Only taking heed to the Word of God will light your way. We have also a more sure word of prophecy [the Word of God]; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts (II Peter 1:19). The Word will light up your heart.

You must have divine light if you want to see things the right way. Without it, you will grope around in spiritual darkness and confusion and take dangerous chances by moving forward depending solely on your human feelings and instincts. Those things won’t save you or anyone else.

It would be awful if we had no lights to shine at night in our homes, cars, churches or wherever else we go; so how much more do we need the light of the Word to shine on our paths of life? Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path (Psalm 119:105).

Without the light of the Word, we will lose our way and never find Heaven, a city where divine light shines all the time. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof (Revelation 21:23).

Live by the Word

You cannot lead others if you are blinded with darkness yourself. And he [Jesus] spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch (Luke 6:39)? You can only save yourself and others by taking heed to the Word of God and continuing in it.

The Word of God is your life, your safety and your direction on this Earth. And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left (Isaiah 30:21).

The Word is your protection. He [the Lord] shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth [the Word] shall be thy shield and buckler (Psalm 91:4). The Lord will cover you with His feathers of love and grace wherever you are.

You must depend on God and His Word for wisdom and knowledge. When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things (Proverbs 2:10-12). Good wisdom and knowledge only come from God.

The Word is truth, and everything in your life must match that truth. If you have any doubt about your salvation, take it to the Word. If it doesn’t stand the Word test, you don’t have true salvation. If your experience with the Holy Ghost doesn’t match the Word, you don’t have the real Holy Ghost. If anyone tries to talk you into something you are not sure of, take it to the Word because it can be the devil using that person. Only the Word of God will keep you safe and prevent you from falling into the pitfalls of self and the enemy.

Jesus Used the Word

Trials and temptations will come to each of us, and you must handle them by taking heed to the Word of God. That is what Jesus did, and He is our example. Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:1-4).

Jesus gave Himself over to the devil for that period of time to show us that we can overcome the devil by giving him the Word just like Jesus did. Jesus told the devil “it is written” two more times in Matthew 4:5-10, and then the devil left. Jesus didn’t save Himself from the devil’s temptation just by talking about what was written; He believed it, walked it and lived it.

Notice during that encounter between Jesus and the devil that the devil tried to use “it is written” on Jesus. The devil told Him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone (Matthew 4:6). But Jesus answered with the Word saying, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God (Matthew 4:7).

The Word of God didn’t work for Satan because he used it deceitfully. Only when the Word is used the right way in faith and purity will it have great manifestations of truth to save, heal and deliver. People can glory in their knowledge of the Word all they want to; but until they take heed to the Word and continue in it, they are not going to save themselves or anyone else.

Let the Word Work

Some of you would not have to continually run to people for help or answers if you would run into the Word. The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe (Proverbs 18:10). When you hide the Word of God in your heart, it will be your refuge.

The Word of God is His will for us; it is His desire, His authority and His wisdom for us. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (II Timothy 3:16).

The Word of God is like a hammer that can break stony hearts. Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces (Jeremiah 23:29)? Then God will turn those stony hearts into new, soft hearts. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26).

Only the Word can save a soul. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls (James 1:21). You don’t know what dangers you will have to face on tomorrow, so you must always take heed to yourself and to the Word of God, the pure truth. It is your roadmap to Heaven.

The Word must become a part of you. Many people may never read or study the Word, but they will see the Word in you. Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart (II Corinthians 3:2,3). That is why we must be different from the world and be what God wants us to be.

Never Carry a Grudge

The Word says you must forgive. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses (Matthew 6:14,15). When you forgive, you shut the door in the devil’s face so he can’t get a hold on you through past hurt or grudges.

If you don’t think you can forgive someone for hurting you, consider that you hurt the very Son of God before you were saved, when you were sinning and trampling His blood underfoot. But when you repented with godly sorrow, Jesus forgave you; so you must forgive others.

When you hold on to a grudge, the enemy has scored a point for his kingdom. The devil will deceive you and make you think you are justified in carrying that grudge, but you are not. Jesus said, And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses (Mark 11:25).

You must never go to bed with even one grudge in your heart because it will send your soul to hell. Stay up until you get rid of it, even if it takes until the sun rises again.

The Bible says, Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge [God] standeth before the door (James 5:9). During the final White Throne Judgment which is to come, God will be the great Judge. His door of mercy is open now; but one day, it will close forever. Then God will never again remember those who are standing on the wrong side of the door.

You must stand steadfast and unmovable in the Word no matter what people do or say to you. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord (I Corinthians 15:58).

A Voice for God

John the Baptist did not care what others thought about him. He was a voice in the wilderness that was lifted for all to hear, and he brought many to the Lord. He proclaimed the coming of Jesus, salvation and the Holy Ghost saying, I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire (Matthew 3:11).

Whatever is in you comes out in your voice, so you must have a voice of divine grace and divine love. You have to know what is inside of you because God looks at the heart. For the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart (I Samuel 16:7).

The Bride’s mission is to save the lost in this final hour, so we must be one mighty voice to the world. We are nothing great, but the anointing in our voices is great; and it will move when we let God work. The Lord must be able to flow Himself through each one of us like mighty rivers of living water. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38).

Rivers of divine water must flow through every member of the Bride of Christ, those who live holy, pure and clean. The devil is trying to do all he can to get your mind off the Lord and create a discord in your voice, but you must never listen to him. We have to be holy like God and have His divine tongue of fire that penetrates the hearts of the lost because the world must hear what God has to say.

Win the Lost through the Holy Ghost

The love and the direction we need to win souls only come through the Holy Ghost, and He is the one who sheds abroad the love of God in our hearts. And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us (Romans 5:5).

The Lord has told me three different times that people must have the Holy Ghost to make the Rapture; and when a person receives the real Holy Ghost baptism, there will be an outward manifestation that people can see and hear—the speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

That is exactly what happened on the Day of Pentecost when the disciples were first filled with the Holy Ghost. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they [the disciples in the Upper Room] were all with one accord in one place. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:1,4).

When you have the Holy Ghost, you are no longer your own. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own (I Corinthians 6:19)? We must carry the mercy of Almighty God in our voices and pray daily saying, “God, I will be your hands and your tongue of fire to reach the world.”

The Holy Ghost is the power you need to do service for the Lord and to be a witness to His Word. He will make you willing to be a living sacrifice for the Lord. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service (Romans 12:1).

The Holy Spirit will help you to go into the deepness of God. He will anoint you to pray, fast and live in the Word and to earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1:3).

If you have received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, how real is He in your life? The Bible refers to Him with personal pronouns, which means He is a person; and you have to recognize that.Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come (John 16:13). The Spirit thinks and speaks, and He is the great teacher and guide who was sent to us special from above.

Depend on God’s Strength

You will never be able to save others unless you use God’s thoughts. The Bible says, For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:9). God wants us to have His thoughts, and they are very deep. O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep (Psalm 92:5).

God’s thoughts and everything about Him are strong. He has all power, and what He speaks comes to pass. For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass (Ezekiel 12:25). God’s words will never die. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matthew 24:35).

God is strong, and the flesh is weak. Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak (Matthew 26:41). You have to yield to the Holy Spirit so you won’t give over to the weaknesses of the flesh. Then you will thrive through the strength of the Spirit.

The Bible says, Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees (Isaiah 35:3). You do that by giving over to the Holy Ghost and putting your hands in the Lord’s hands so His joy can flow. For the joy of the LORD is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Let divine happiness flow as the Lord fills up all the empty places in you with His joy.

We must use God’s strength, faith and all He has given us to work for Him. He is depending on us, and we are depending on Him. God is with you in every work you do for Him, and His love should be bubbling over in your soul.

Spend Time with the Lord

You must make time every day to get away from people and get quiet and still before God. That time is very special and so important because we are nothing without Him. Jesus said, I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing (John 15:5).

I spend many hours with the Lord. I always have to be ready to meet the devil head on and put him to flight just as Jesus did, and you must be, too. Then when God wants to use you, you will always be ready.

Jesus said, Behold, I give unto you [believers] power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). Trample the devil underfoot without ever letting him say one word to you.

Some of you don’t realize all the power you have in God, and that power won’t work for you unless you believe it and use it. You let the devil bind you with fear; but why should you ever be afraid when God walks in you, talks to you and protects you? A born-again Christian is covered with the blood, and the devil can’t stand the blood. It burns him like fire burns our skin.

God will give you His love and faith, but you have to use them. You should never doubt God in any way when you know He walks inside you. As God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people (II Corinthians 6:16).

You will have nothing to fear or worry about when you walk in the divine will of God every minute of every day. Stay humble before God and don’t live a life full of doubt and questions. Live in answers knowing that all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23).

You must be able to say as Paul did, For I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day (II Timothy 1:12).

Jesus Needs You

Jesus said that God’s children must be the light of the world. Ye are the light of the world…Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven (Matthew 5:14,16). Christ will lift you up above the darkness of this world and give you a light like you have never thought possible. And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6).

Each member of the bridal company must be aglow with the light of God. She must train her eyes to see His glory so she can see things that the world can’t see, and she must feel His love in her heart night and day. She must have a different life from people in the world, and use God’s grace to let people know they can be delivered from all sin and have a new life in Jesus Christ.

You are precious to the Lord, Children, and He needs you. The Bible says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). We were not born wonderful, but the divine blood makes us wonderful; and you must believe that with all of your heart.

Never forget the price He paid for you to become a son or a daughter of God. He gave all of His love to make us what we are today. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons [or daughters] of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:12,13).

Why worry about your trials when Jesus is your victory over them all? Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God (I John 5:5)? Jesus said He would always be with you. I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee (Hebrews 13:5). When Jesus is your everything, you should act like it, live like it, believe like it, think like it and work like it.

Jesus is your great I-Am for today and for all of your tomorrows. He is your protection, strength and power; and with Him, you can climb any mountain that He wills you to climb. Then at the top, you will have a breathtaking view of the glory of God.

Pray this prayer of dedication with me today and commit to being all God wants you to be for the rest of the journey. Lord, visit each and every one today. You have brought us so much of your joy, and we are going to keep you with us. We are going to use this borrowed time you have given us to finish your work, and we are so grateful for it. We will do our best, and you will do the rest. You have let us know that we must pick up where your Son left off and finish the work He started through the power of the Holy Ghost, the gifts of the Spirit and the fruits of the Spirit.

Accept God’s Saving Grace

Jesus is coming only for those who will accept Him as their everything because only then will you not doubt the Rapture and believe you will be changed when Jesus comes. We shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (I Corinthians 15:51,52). You will be changed through the blood of Jesus. The Holy Ghost will use that blood to change your body just like He used it for your salvation.

If Jesus is not your everything today, you are not able to save yourself or anyone else. You must have that saving blood grace in your soul, so say the sinner’s prayer with me right now: Dear Jesus, I am so lost, but I want you to be my everything. Cleanse me of every sin. I am sorry I sinned against you, but I have come home; and I am going to serve you, Lord, for the rest of my life. I believe that you died for me, and I will live for you. I believe that the precious cleansing blood of Jesus washes away all my sins, all of them! Come into my heart, Jesus; come on in! If you meant that prayer, Jesus has come.

You Can Be Healed

Now, if you need healing, get ready for the Lord to move for you. God never intended for man to be sick or die. He wants His children to be well. Untold millions have been healed and delivered through this Jesus world outreach ministry. He is the healer, and I am His witness.

Lord, I bring the sick and afflicted, the cancer victims, the diabetics and the heart and stroke patients to you. I bring those afflicted with AIDS, leprosy and lung trouble; and I bring deformed children to you. You said a believer would lay hands on the sick, and they would get well. I am your believer. Heal them in the blood name of Jesus, the One who came all the way from Heaven to deliver us! Heal! in the precious blood-name of Jesus!

As I speak that name, the healing power is flowing. Health is flowing through the name of Jesus, so be thou made whole. Feel His touch. Feel His greatness as He moves for you and know that He is real and that He is here for you. The Lord is seeking to make Himself living reality to you through His blood, so get well and give Him all the glory.
