Many people in the world today are satisfied to be dissatisfied, but they don’t know it. They are satisfied with things that do not satisfy the soul because only Jesus can truly satisfy a person’s soul, and only His truth can set them free. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32).

So many people are satisfied with lies because lies cloud the truth, and they do not want the penetrating light of truth to shine on their dark path. Jesus described such people saying, And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil (John 3:19). He also said, But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness (Matthew 6:23)!

Eve listened to Satan when he said, Ye shall not surely die (Genesis 3:4); and she became satisfied with his lies. You cannot listen to or play around with the devil; but Eve looked at the forbidden tree and saw that the fruit looked pleasant, and she desired it. When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat (Genesis 3:6). Never allow the devil to talk to you, but you must also be aware that he will use other people to talk to you if you let him. When someone starts talking about doubt or anything unlike God, you must get away or shut them up at once, even if the person is a family member. The Lord does not want us to listen to idle talk because it is the devil’s language.

Desire God’s Ways

How many times have you desired something so much that you turned a deaf ear to the convicting power of the Holy Spirit? How many times have you allowed self to have something that the Word forbids, but you wanted it so much that you became satisfied to partake of it?

“Satisfy” means “to have a need, desire or expectation fulfilled; to free from doubt or question; to assure.” Who can supply your needs, fulfill the desires of your heart or give you blessed assurance better than Jesus can? But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart (Psalm 37:4).

I want the real Jesus, real truth and real satisfaction; but so many people do not want to pay the price for living godly in this world, and they become satisfied to be dissatisfied. It is easier to go with the flow than to stand up and be rooted and grounded in the truth. Study the Bible, and you will see that the truth has stood every test; and it will stand against any persecution, temptation or trial you will face.

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution (II Timothy 3:12). Children of God will suffer persecution, but they will not bow down to it, think it is too hard or say that they don’t deserve it. If we had been given what we deserved, we all would have been dead before we were saved.

Follow Jesus

If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple (Luke 14:26). This verse means that you cannot put your family or those you love ahead of Jesus at any time and be a follower of Him. If you let your family or anyone else keep you out of church, you are not ready for the Rapture.

Jesus said, And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple (Luke 14:27). Jesus paid a great price for us. He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Audacious men nearly beat Him to death at the whipping post, but what wrong had He done to them?—none at all. Jesus volunteered to come to Earth and to go to Calvary for us; but He never backed down, and He won. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory (I Corinthians 15:55)?

People who are satisfied to be dissatisfied despise those who are letting their light shine for the Lord. They may claim to be Christians, but they despise true children of God who are living free from all sin and obeying the Lord. They are jealous, and jealousy comes from the devil; so if you are serving the Lord, you need to associate with those who believe like you do and who are faithful to God like you are. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord (II Corinthians 6:17).

You cannot serve God and the world. No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (Matthew 6:24).

Do You Live in Deceit?

And he [Jesus] spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others (Luke 18:9). Jesus told them about a Pharisee and a publican who went to the temple to pray. The Pharisee was full of ego, but the publican was humble and repentant before God. Then He said, This man [the publican] went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted (Luke 18:14).

Those who are satisfied to be dissatisfied despise those who have truly repentant hearts that God responds to. That is why some people never get anywhere with their salvation—because they never really serve God all the way. When you get a real dose of salvation, you will live free from all sin, shun social religions and stay uncontaminated from the world. Then you can have the anointings God offers.

Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you (Acts 13:41). Those who are satisfied to be dissatisfied do not believe the miraculous works of God, and they claim that the days of miracles are over…and they are over for them.

He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit (I Thessalonians 4:8). Right becomes wrong and wrong becomes right to those who are satisfied to be dissatisfied. They do not believe that God will judge sin, but the Bible tells us that God can’t even look upon it. Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity (Habakkuk 1:13). Of course, God sees sin; but He cannot stand it in any form, and not even one tiny speck of sin will ever get into Heaven.

Nevertheless, so many people do not want to hear truth preached; and instead, they want deceit. But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings (Jeremiah 23:22). People in the Old Testament actually asked the prophets to preach deceit to them. Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits (Isaiah 30:10). Such people will be in hell one day, and that will change them; but it will be too late.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears (II Timothy 4:3). That time is now here, and people love what the world holds. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world (I John 2:16).

The Bible tells you to walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5:16). It also says, Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21).

Let Nothing Hinder You

Those who are satisfied to be dissatisfied will not go all the way with God, and they seek to hinder others from going all the way, too. People will even try to hinder their own relatives. Jesus said, Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered (Luke 11:52). Jesus was not speaking only of attorneys but of everyone.

The devil will send plenty of people to hinder you, but you cannot allow them to. You cannot listen to trash; you must listen only to truth. Take warning and never become satisfied to be dissatisfied because you will not operate in purity and in truth. You will trust in yourself and then serve yourself to others, and that does not please God.

Just because you think you are right does not make you right. Take heed to yourself at all times whether you are truly in the faith that Jesus brought. Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves (II Corinthians 13:5). Your faith has to be proved, so it will be tested and tried. If it is good faith, it will pass each test. Then you will be able to ignore people who are wrong and go on to be led by faith.

Jesus never let people torment Him, and He is our example. If you are going to make it through this hour, you will have to stop listening to people and their opinions. You have a Bible of truth, and you must know what it says about anything you may be going through. You must also be ready to give an answer to others about the hope that we have through Christ. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear (I Peter 3:15).

People who are satisfied to be dissatisfied will fight against God and His people; yet when hard times come their way, they want God’s protection and His way of escape, but it does not work that way. The Lord made a way of escape for His children, the Israelites, through the Red Sea; but when the Egyptians tried to pass through, too, they drowned. By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned (Hebrews 11:29).

Are You Satisfied with the Word?

Are you satisfied with the Word of God, or do you feel like you have to add to it, subtract from it or twist it to your liking? It is not enough just to quote the Bible; you have to understand it and be content with it.

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void [useless or ineffectual], but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it (Isaiah 55:11). God said His Word would thrive and be a success. It will also endure forever. The word of the Lord endureth forever (I Peter 1:25).

When you are satisfied with something, you are at peace with it; and you are not looking for a way to change it. Unfortunately, many Christians and even pastors today are not satisfied with what the Word says about living free from sin or about the miraculous works of God. Much of the Word is left out in pulpits today, and the congregations are spiritually starved to death.

Most preachers are not the watchmen the Bible speaks of. Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me (Ezekiel 3:17). Instead, they are held responsible for sending people to hell. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand (Ezekiel 3:18). In some cases, it does not matter what the preacher says; people just do not want the truth even when they hear it. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul (Ezekiel 3:19).

You must always keep your ears holy and anointed so you can understand all the teachings of God or you will be like those Jeremiah described. Behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it (Jeremiah 6:10). Many people do not only reject the Word; they are ashamed of it.

How Do You Receive the Word?

In the parable of the sower, Jesus described those who are not satisfied with what the Word says. Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the wayside (Matthew 13:18,19). This describes people who do not understand the Word; and instead of looking into it, they let it fall by the wayside. Then the devil snatches away what was sown in their hearts, and that is exactly what happens when someone fails to really reach for the Word.

But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended (Matthew 13:20,21). This describes those who receive the Word with joy but are not satisfied with what it says, so they cannot stand when tribulation and persecution come and instead become offended.

He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful (Matthew 13:22). This describes those who hear the Word but allow the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches to choke the Word; and then they become unfruitful. You cannot neglect the Word and be a soul winner.

Use Godly Wisdom

If you are more satisfied with what you think than with what the Word says, it is like building a house on the sand. And everyone that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it (Matthew 7:26,27). That is why you must build only upon the foundation of Jesus. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 3:11).

If you are dissatisfied with what the Word says, then you are trusting your own wisdom more than God’s; but the Bible says, Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil (Proverbs 3:7). Earthly wisdom alone will get you nowhere with God. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness (I Corinthians 3:19).

God wants you to reason with Him, not people. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD (Isaiah 1:18). You must always seek to move closer to God so He can reason with you. He will make Himself available to you at any time, and then you can always find something in the Word of God that will shed light on whatever comes your way. However, you must be completely satisfied with what the Word says about your situation or you will grope around in the dark and give in to your own reasoning and feelings.

You cannot be satisfied with what the Word says one day and doubt it the next. You must be rooted and grounded in the Word and in divine love. That ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).

The Word will be life to you when you let the Spirit quicken it within you, but the flesh alone cannot discern the Word or rightly divide it. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (II Timothy 2:15).

Depend on Christ

If you are a born-again believer and living free from sin, are you sincere about your salvation? Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them (Hebrews 7:25). The night I was saved, I gave up the world completely. Then the Lord gave me His mind to go with my salvation; and I was never the same.

I was complete in Christ, and you can be, too. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power (Colossians 2:10). With regards to that power, Jesus said, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth (Matthew 28:18). Then He gave that power to the disciples to use for His work. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).

You never have to be afraid of any person or devil, And when he [Jesus] had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease (Matthew 10:1).

If you are truly saved and don’t know what to do, the Holy Ghost and Christ will make intercession for you. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26). It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us (Romans 8:34). Study these verses carefully because they will help your faith.

You must let the scriptures make Jesus a great reality to you. He will talk to you through the Word and take you from scripture to scripture to teach you the Word. Then you will not be up one day and down the next, saved one day and not the next. You must get into the Word like never before, be satisfied with what it says and take on its personality.

Do You Have Doubt?

If you are satisfied to be dissatisfied with any part of God or His Word, you will doubt the things of God. “Doubt” means to lack confidence in or distrust something; so when doubt comes, you will feel like you have to pay attention to it or investigate it to see if there is any truth to it. You may think you believe God, but the least little thing can cause you to doubt Him; so when a trial or a pain comes your way, faith goes out the door.

As humans, we are used to reasoning things out in the natural; but faith does not work through our five senses. The Bible says, Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). In light of that scripture, how do you expect to have faith if you are not hearing the words of the Lord? And you will not hear them if you don’t get them from the Bible. I agree with the Word before I agree with myself or anybody else, and I only want to see things the way the Lord wants them to be done.

It is the Spirit of God that quickens the Word within us. It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63). You must yield to the Holy Spirit to be able to believe the words of the Bible; however, the Word has to be within you. Unfortunately, many people read worldly books, newspapers and magazines more than they do the Word of God; and they believe those things more than they do the Word. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned (I Corinthians 2:14). You should study God’s Word more than you do anything else.

People will believe man’s theories, laws, books and philosophies; but they will doubt the promises of God, and that hinders them from receiving miracles. But when you live by promise, you can receive all the miracles you need. To believe spiritual things, you must learn to give over to the thoughts of the Holy Spirit more than to your own thoughts.

A doubtful person is questioning or undecided about something, and I meet people like that in my prayer lines. People will tell me one thing; but when the Lord shows me what they are really thinking, it is different. When you hear the Word of God, are you uncertain about it, or do you lack confidence in it? Do you consider God’s miracles to be unlikely? If you look to self or listen to the devil, you will feel obligated to doubt.

Never Listen to the Devil

Are you satisfied with what God says or do you let the enemy talk to you? The devil despises God’s power of faith, and he does not want you to reason with God and His Word; but again, let me point out that God says, Come now, and let us reason together (Isaiah 1:18).

The devil wants you to doubt because he knows God cannot work through doubt. The devil wants your faith to waver when the Bible says, But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord (James 1:6,7).

The devil is not concerned about your problems being solved, and he is doing all he can to distract you from using the faith that overcomes the world. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith (I John 5:4). When the devil brings a thought of doubt to your mind, you must immediately turn to the Word and put up the shield of faith against him. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked (Ephesians 6:16).

The devil is a liar, a deceiver and the enemy of God; so you must never give place to him. Neither give place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27). You cannot let the devil scare you. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

Live by Faith

With God and His divine love, you never have to be afraid of death or anything else. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love (I John 4:18).

Faith is one of the greatest love gifts God has ever given to man, and faith and love must work in unity. The Bible tells us, Faith which worketh by love (Galatians 5:6). The more love you have, the more faith you can use; and the Bible tells us to contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1:3). I once told the Lord that I was going to seek that faith no matter what price I had to pay, and it was much more than I had expected. It seemed like all hell came against me, but I did not give up; and I received that faith.

During that time, God brought Job before me who said, Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him (Job 13:15). Behold, my witness is in heaven, and my record is on high (Job 16:19). Job blessed God and won; and we can be winners, too, when we use divine faith which worketh by love.

Doubt brings negative results, and Jesus had nothing good to say about it. If the disciples had really heard the words of Jesus when He said, Let us pass over unto the other side (Mark 4:35), faith would have told them that they were not going to perish; but instead, they became afraid when a storm arose. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full [of water] . And he [Jesus] was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish (Mark 4:37,38)? Their cries showed that they had a lot of doubt.

And he [Jesus] arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith (Mark 4:39,40)? Jesus had taught the disciples divine faith; but either they didn’t have it, or they were too scared to use it.

During another storm, Peter did use his faith; and he stepped out of the ship and walked on the Sea of Galilee. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt (Matthew 14:25-31)? Jesus said to Peter, “How is it that you have no faith to use when I gave it to you?” Peter had the miracle, but he let fear sweep it away.

I have seen so many people receive a miracle, and I knew they had it because I saw it take place; but they failed to keep it. If you have enough faith for the Lord to give you a miracle, why do you let doubt take it away?

You must study the things of God so you can have divine Bible faith. Jesus called any other kind of faith “little faith.” He said to the disciples, O ye of little faith (Matthew 6:30). Human faith is “little faith,” and Jesus will never give you “little faith.”

Seek Only Truth

And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind (Luke 12:29). A doubtful mind is a questioning mind; and you can read in the Bible how the doubtful minds of the scribes, Pharisees and lawyers were always questioning Jesus. They doubted the truth because they were so satisfied and smug with their own laws and beliefs. Jesus told them, Ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not. Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you (John 5:38,39,42). Jesus told those self-righteous Pharisees that they would have to face Him in all the scriptures and that they were not right with God.

The doubt and unbelief Jesus found in people even surprised Him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And he marvelled because of their unbelief (Mark 6:4-6). God never asks you to have faith without giving you something to have faith in.

When you search the scriptures, you will see that Jesus is revealed throughout the Bible and that He is the only way to Heaven. I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). God gave us Himself when He gave us His Son; and when He gave us Jesus, He gave us truth.

If you are free today, it is through Bible truth and faith. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (II Corinthians 3:17). Without the Word of God, no one can ever be delivered of evil spirits and be changed into a new creature. Therefore if any man [or woman] be in Christ, he [or she] is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (II Corinthians 5:17).

The first Adam was made a living soul, and he never would have needed a Savior to change him if he had not given over to the devil and sold us all into sin. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit (I Corinthians 15:45). Man would have been born like the angels—pure, holy, quickening spirits.

Do you spend time with the holy Word of God and believe what Jesus says? Are you creating a foundation of truth in your heart and mind for the Holy Spirit to quicken when needed? Are you allowing the Holy Spirit to shed abroad the love of God in your heart? And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us (Romans 5:5).

Choose God’s Will

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (II Peter 1:4). Through God’s exceeding great and precious promises, we can have God’s divine nature which will help us to escape the corruption of the world. The Bible makes some far-out statements; but if you read on in the Word, you will find those statements are always clearly explained.

You must be satisfied with God and have no doubt on the last leg of this journey because only through His faith and love will we be able to climb all the mountains that are still ahead of us. You must let Jesus be Lord to you in everything and get rid of all doubt, fear, frustration, despair and unbelief. Commit yourself into God’s hands so you will be satisfied with His holy Word and His divine will.

Some people want to walk as close to the world as they can without backsliding, but that will never work. Like Moses, you must be willing to deny the pleasures of the world and suffer persecution for Christ’s sake. By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season (Hebrews 11:24,25).

Most people would rather enjoy sin than deny themselves the pleasures of the world, but Moses esteemed the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible (Hebrews 11:26,27). Through faith, Moses saw Christ thousands of years ago.

Healing Is for Today

Are you satisfied to be dissatisfied with divine healing? Do you somehow count yourself out even though you are a child of God? The Lord said, I am the LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26). You can say that and be healed if you will put faith in it. The Lord made that covenant with the Israelites as they left Egypt, and there was not a weak one among them. He [God] brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes (Psalm 105:37).

When Jesus was here, His fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatic, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them (Matthew 4:24). Jesus healed them all; and He declared, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord (Luke 4:18,19).

Jesus received a great anointing after He had received the Holy Ghost. When John baptized Jesus in water, he saw the Spirit descend on Him in the form of a dove; and he heard the voice of the Lord from Heaven say, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased (Matthew 3:17). Those who are saved and have the real baptism of the Holy Ghost have the true anointing of God, saith the Lord. God wants to anoint His people, and He wants them to carry those anointings so others will be drawn to Him.

After I was saved, I sought for the same Holy Ghost Jesus received; and I got Him. With that Spirit, I do my best to heal up the brokenhearted who have lost a loved one or are going through a great tragedy. I also preach the acceptable year of the Lord, and that is the year of Jubilee that Jesus came and brought to us.

Under the Old Testament Law, every fiftieth year was the year of Jubilee. During that time, everybody’s property was returned to them; all the slaves were set free, and all debts were forgiven. And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed (Leviticus 25:10,11). It was a year of freedom and rest, and the Lord has given us that freedom, too—a life free from all sin. Unfortunately, most of the people in the world are still in bondage to the devil.

Salvation Will Satisfy You

You must let this message sink deep, saith the Lord. It is a great warning straight from the throne of God, and He is uncovering things now that He has never before uncovered to His people. He is trying to get every spot, wrinkle and tiny blemish out of your life. No one will go in the Rapture with any of those things because Jesus is only coming for a perfect Bride. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:27).

Only those who are spotless will be ready to make the Rapture and be changed just like the Bible promises. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (I Corinthians 15:51,52). The Lord hates death as much as we do; but without God, eternal death will be yours.

If you don’t have Jesus in your heart, you need Him today because you never know when your heart will stop beating; and so many people die saying they are ready for Heaven when they are not. The rich man thought he was all right; but when he lifted up his eyes in hell, he cried out in torment. There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments (Luke 16:19-23).

No one is promised tomorrow, so you must be ready to meet the Lord today. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation (II Corinthians 6:2).

If you want Jesus to be everything to you, pray this prayer right now: Oh, God, I am so sorry that I sinned against you. I believe you died for me and that your divine blood can cleanse me from all sin. Forgive me of all my sins now and come into my heart, Lord Jesus; come on in! If you meant that prayer, Jesus has come. Start reading your Bible, praying, spending time in His holy presence and doing some Bible fasting.

Take a Miracle

If you are sick and afflicted, Jesus is your healer. God sent His Son to Earth with healing in His wings. But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings (Malachi 4:2). Oh, God, I bring the sick and afflicted, the crippled and those suffering with terrible diseases to you. Lord, lay a healing hand on them right now. Let them feel your healing power going through them and getting them well. Heal! in the all-powerful name of Jesus. Heal! I pray.

Watch every sign of improvement daily and give God all the praise, honor and glory. Feel His love, His grace and His greatness; and let Him be everything to you today and for all your tomorrows.
