Oh, holy night: A new Star was born, a Star called Jesus, a Star of all stars. Salvation was born in Bethlehem. The freedom that the Lord had meant for man and woman had been gone from the face of the earth since the fall of man in the Garden of Eden. How sad that in Old Testament days such a little bit of freedom was available to mankind! Sin and death reigned from Adam to Christ when grace was born in Bethlehem.

As the book of Genesis opens we see a man and woman created in freedom, in all the liberties and greatness of Heaven. They never were to have died, never were to have known sickness. What wonderful life it was in Eden! But through sin, man, woman lost it. Freedom now was gone from the earth as well as the liberty, peace and joy that God had given. Those things were always to be here, but now darkness was upon the earth as man struggled to make a living shut out from the greatness of God.

Overshadowed by Death

Genesis had opened with life pulsing everywhere, with a man and woman walking with God in the cool of the day under the beautiful tree of life and the other lovely trees. The God-walk—they had it but lost it. After Adam and Eve sinned and were cast out of Eden, death reigned; a shroud was over all the dispensation of God from Adam to Jesus. God’s period of time from Adam to Christ was overshadowed by death. Genesis closed with a man sealed in a box and no way to get out. Death would have to be destroyed. Who could destroy it?

God Came Down to the Holy of Holies

Many years later the Lord told Moses to build a tabernacle. In the Holy of Holies only the high priest once a year could enter on the Day of Atonement. How sad it was for man, woman shut outside, unable to reach the Lord! Some longed to get in; they knew God had come down and was so close right inside the Holy of Holies. But then at last in Bethlehem, freedom was born, freedom for all to come to God. The great sign went up: Whosoever will, let him come!

Tidings of Great Joy

Angels announced a wondrous birth. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men (Luke 2:8-14).

The joy of Heaven was born in Bethlehem that night, joy that had been lost when man and woman lost Eden, the pure joy of Heaven. For thousands of years the earth didn’t have it. But then the angels brought good tidings of great joy to the shepherds. Glory to God in the Highest! the angels said. Peace, good will toward men! Peace and joy for everyone were born in Bethlehem on that holy night. What a holy night it was!

We must never forget what happened when the divine will of God was born for every man, woman, boy and girl. Salvation was offered to all; but all must accept it, for all are free moral agents. Free choice was all Adam and Eve didn’t lose in the fall. Even today people still have free choice.

Peace That Passes Understanding

We look back to that little town of Bethlehem. I’ve been there a number of times. It’s a small place, but oh, the greatness of Heaven was born there that night two thousand years ago!

The peace that passes all understanding—what peace, what greatness were there that night! Today we can have that peace in our hearts.

Love, love was born that night, love that man had never experienced outside Eden, such wondrous love!

Jesus, Our Passport

Forgiveness was born that night, for God so loved that He gave Jesus. When He gave Jesus, He gave us all Heaven. No longer are we strangers to Heaven; we have citizenship papers to that holy place.

Our passport was born in Bethlehem that holy night, Jesus our passport, our great foundation. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 3:11). Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). By no other name can we be saved.

The Door Back into Eden Opened

Abundant life was born that night. Jesus said, The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). The new and living way is in that abundant life.

The door back into Eden was born that night. For thousands of years no one had been able to go through that door. That door had to be in the form of a Cross, and the one who would carry that Cross was born in Bethlehem that holy night.

How sad that man fell into sin! How tragic that the first Adam failed us completely, failed the whole human race! But the second Adam, Jesus, came and bought back all that had been lost. Man, woman needed to get in to God, but for thousands of years, they wandered afar off.

At Last They Saw the Face of God

Looking into the manger, the shepherds saw the face of God in the form of a little babe. Jesus said later, He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father (John 14:9)? When the wise men looked on that little face after they had traveled so long to get there, they, too, saw the face of God.

The image of God was born in Bethlehem. Man had lost it in the fall, lost the image of God, but now everyone, whosoever-will, can have the image of God, can be made in the image of God, created in righteousness and true holiness, His holiness, His righteousness.

The new birth was born in Bethlehem that night. All who truly desired God could now be born new, could be as holy and pure as the first Adam and Eve.

From Top to Bottom the Veil Was Torn

The God-walk was born in Bethlehem, the new and living way. In the temple the veil separating man from God would be destroyed because of the babe born that holy night. From top to bottom the veil was torn asunder signifying that God had come down. Now the invitation was, Come on in boldly before the throne of grace! You will find help in time of trouble as you kneel before the throne.

The Blood Has Made Us Nigh to the Lord

The Bible tells us that we were afar off at one time, but the blood of Jesus has made us nigh. But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ (Ephesians 2:13). We have been made so nigh that we can go before the throne of grace while we are here on Earth. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). No distance lies between us and Lord God Almighty. The blood has made us so nigh that we can talk to the Lord ourselves any hour of the day or night. In the name of Jesus, Father, I come! The door to the throne room is always wide-open for you, and for all the Lord’s little lambs.

Ears to Hear

You have Heaven’s ears, those divine ears that were born for us in Bethlehem that night. Now mankind would be able to hear as the first man and woman could hear. Jesus said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear (Mark 4:9). Hear what the Spirit is saying. Hear God-talk. Seven times in the book of Revelation we read, He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches (Revelation 2:7). Those ears to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying were born in Bethlehem for you.

Eyes to See

You who have eyes to see: Behold the greatness of your God. How wonderful to have divine spiritual eyesight! Those eyes to see what the Lord is doing today, to behold His greatness, to behold the hand of the Lord moving upon planet Earth through the power of the Holy Ghost Himself were made possible because a little Babe was born in Bethlehem. This great plan of redemption is a marvel to behold!

Overshadowed Now by the Cross

This Christ dispensation was not overshadowed by a coffin, but a Cross. Jesus died on that Cross for you and me. He took our place on that Cross—no wonder we love Him more than life! No wonder we’re ready to lay down our lives for Him in this final hour!

I’ve given my life completely to Jesus, telling Him that He can have it any way He wants, piece by piece or all at once. In whatever way He can use it for His Kingdom to bring more souls to Christ, it’s in His hands. I am ready, no reservations do I cling to.

One day I came to a crossroads; I had to make my choice whether to go God’s way completely or to bow to the will of man. I took God’s way. I promised God my very life, and it’s still His. I live in His divine glory, His divine power. That’s the reason His mighty works are carried on through this Jesus ministry. This is His ministry, not mine.

A Wondrous Vision

I was just a little farm boy visited by God when I was about eight years old. Carried into the heavens, surrounded by stars in a wondrous vision, I didn’t realize then that it was a holy night. I didn’t know the miracle that happened to me that night was from God. In fact, then I didn’t know that much about God, that He would visit with a child like me, but I learned later that He had marked me.

I had a vision that no one had ever dreamed. To be away up in the heaven with stars everywhere, above, below, all around, millions and millions of stars, was a fantastic experience. I’ve lived and re-lived that vision again and again. It has become one holy night to me.

I Learned the Secret of the Vision

Not until I was grown and had been in the ministry a number of years did I learn the secret of the vision. I just knew something beyond had happened to me, but I thought I had done it myself some way. Did I turn my eyes in a certain manner, move my ears differently? What did I do?

I was in bed when the vision came that night, a vision that sailed me out the window into the stars. Night after night I tried to make it happen again to no avail. I could never share the amazing experience with anyone; it was locked deep within me, and I wanted no one to make light of it.

Then many years later, my great, holy night happened again. Angel and I were married now, and we had built the Cathedral. I was down praying one Saturday night, getting ready for Sunday’s services. Suddenly there was no roof over our living room. Stars, stars were everywhere, and before I could get fixed, I cried aloud, “I’ve seen this sight before!” The Lord spoke, “I gave it to you when you were a child. The stars are the souls you will win for me.” The Lord told me there would be no way for the human mind to number the souls that would come to Him through this Jesus ministry.

Today we are seeing that prophecy in action. I’m gathering the stars everywhere I go. I live to gather the stars. I know I must not fail, and you must not fail either. God has raised you up to help get those stars. To gather the last of the stars I will pay any price.

Reality of a Divine Mission

This great hour is real to me; all that God is doing is the reality I live in. The sweet abundant life, the Cross that Jesus carried for you and me are so very real.

Jesus had come on a divine mission, and now He’s sending us on a divine mission through the power of the Holy Spirit. Yes, we’re on His divine mission to take His Gospel to the whole world. To be in His holy presence, to have His direction, to know what He wants are more impor-tant to me than food, than sleep.

The will of God was born that night in Bethlehem. If you don’t have the will of God for your life, find it through prayers, fastings and living in the Word. These three steps are all it takes. Of course there will be persecutions, valleys, but trusting the divine blood power of Christ will make you an overcomer.

The Compassion of Jesus

In the deep valley of sickness that had me on the verge of death when I was twenty-three, God was getting me ready to have this compassion for souls that He brought, the compassion that was born in Bethlehem one holy night. We must have that compassion, the compassion of Jesus to see people saved, healed and delivered, to win the lost at any cost. We must not fail or multitudes, multitudes will die and go to hell. We can’t afford to fail; we dare not.

Divine Faith Is God’s Will for Us

This new and living way in which we can reach God at any time was born that night for you and you and you. Divine faith was born that night. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). Faith is a gift.

The just will live by faith not feelings. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17). God’s faith is the will for us.

We’re told in Jude, Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1:3). I’m contending for that faith night and day. I must have it all in order to do all that can be done on planet Earth for Jesus. Child of God, you need to contend, also, for that faith.

Claim God’s Good Promises

The Lord’s promises were born in Bethlehem that night for us. Jesus promised that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9). Jesus promised that if ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you (John 15:7). He promised that these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18). The Lord offers us unbelievable power that goes forth only through prayer, fasting and living in the Word of God.

The devil-possessed have to be delivered, must be delivered. People come here from the East, West, North and South to be delivered from all kinds of sicknesses and diseases as well as from devil-possession, and if they want deliverance, they can have it through the blood-delivering power of Christ.

Jesus Promised a Comforter

The gifts of the Holy Spirit were born that night, as were the promises of the coming of the Holy Ghost and the nine fruits of the Spirit: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law (Galatians 5:22,23).

Jesus let the disciples know that His dispensation was about to end. Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you (John 16:7). Jesus was saying that if He didn’t go away the promise of the Father, the Holy Ghost, wouldn’t come. That promise became possible at Bethlehem, the promise that the Father would send a Comforter to live and dwell on the inside of His people, to guide us, teach us and lead us into all truth. Since Pentecost when the Holy Ghost baptized those waiting in the Upper Room, it’s been the Holy Ghost dispensation.

Truth and Life Were Born in Bethlehem

Truth was born that night in Bethlehem. The false had ruled and reigned upon the earth for thousands of years. Very little truth had been evident. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6).

Life for you and me was born in Bethlehem that night. The way of God was born that night. Jesus is the way, and we can walk like Jesus; we can wear the shoes of Jesus.

We will praise God for that holy night throughout time and all eternity, the greatest night that has ever been. No other night can be so great. God will do many wonderful things in the future, but even the Bride of Christ being taken out at the Second Coming will not be as great as that night. The thousand-year Perfect Age when Christ rules here on Earth will not be as great. Think of it!

Light to Penetrate All Darkness

Oh, holy night when the greatest Star was born! Eternal light was born in Bethlehem that night that would penetrate the darkness throughout the whole earth. The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up (Matthew 4:16). From that holy night comes the cry, “The Light shineth!” Think on it—how wonderful are God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit! All three were a part of this great, mighty plan of salvation, born in Bethlehem. Without that salvation we can’t have one of the benefits I have mentioned.

Grace for All Who Want the Favor of God

Grace was born that night. In Noah’s day, one man found grace, and it brought the saving of only eight souls, but that night in Bethlehem when grace was born it was grace for everyone who wants the favor of God. No detouring; it’s from grace to grace, from faith to faith with no room for doubt. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God (Romans 5:2). This is all because of that holy night. It wasn’t Bethlehem that did it; it was the hand of Heaven, the hand of God.

Remember, Jesus said that he that hath seen me hath seen the Father (John 14:9). We know what the Father is like—He is like Jesus. By the life He lived, Jesus showed us what pleases the Father. Now every born-again person has been made in the image of God, re-created, and can please the Father. It took a miracle of re-creation to be made free from sin, for we were conceived in sin and iniquity. The Bible tells us that all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). But that night in Bethlehem was born the cure for sin. The all-conquering power over death, hell and the grave came that night.

Resurrected from the Dead

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2:1). Jesus has brought to life all who are born again. We were dead and had to be resurrected. Since our resurrection was born that night in Bethlehem, we can cry, “Because He lives, we live!”

When life ends here on Earth, that holy night does not end. All the benefits of that holy night will live on in all who were born again. Heaven came down to us, and what a birth it was of greatness, of liberty and freedom! What measureless love and peace Jesus brought, so deep, so high and wide!

No human being can ever measure the love of God; it passes all understanding. Not even in eternity will we be able to understand all the love of God, He is that big. You will never master God, never learn all about Him. How big is God? He’s big enough.

In Rhythm with God’s Heartbeat

Because of that night we will never walk alone; the Lord holds our hands and guides each step we take. How wonderful! We have the hand of one who understands us and knows all about us. He sees every tear, weighs every heartache and He reaches out, Child, to cradle you to His bosom. You discover your heartbeat is in rhythm with His. So it was in Eden and so it always was to have been—but man and woman lost the heartbeat of God. If you don’t have the heartbeat of God, you can have it.

The holiness of God came to make us holy. Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy (I Peter 1:16). You can be as perfect as your Father in Heaven is perfect, perfect in His love, His grace, all because of that holy, holy night. The gates of pearl, the city of God all came to us that holy night salvation was born.

Oh, precious Lord, save any lost person reading this. Lord, help them to surrender all to you now. Lord, I don’t want people to be lost, but if they don’t accept that holy night, they will be lost; there is no other way. They must accept that holy night or they will never see Heaven.

Have You Been Saved?

Now by taking Jesus into your heart would be a great time for you to honor that holy night that brought Heaven to us. You who are not saved let this day be your holy night of salvation, deliverance, peace and freedom from on High as you pray the sinners’ prayer with me.

Oh, God, I accept that holy night. Oh, dear Jesus, I accept all that you brought and all that you taught. I know that you gave your life’s blood to set me free, to deliver me. On that holy night you brought holy blood, divine blood to give on Calvary to set me free. You died in my place and made it possible for me to be delivered from all sin. I believe the blood of Jesus, the precious blood, washes away all my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in!

If you meant that prayer, you can say, Hallelujah, He has come! Jesus is mine!

God Offers You Divine Healing: Take it!

Now for your physical miracle. The holiness and the righteousness of God and the presence of Heaven have made it possible. I have given you the will of God that was born that holy night, the will of God for you to be healed, divine healing from Heaven.

Faith in God heals the sick. Some of you are suffering in body, some of you may be an invalid, but the hand of the Lord will come upon you. He is ready to help you. You may have heart trouble, but the Lord can re-create your heart. He has done the same thing for so many others through this Jesus ministry.

Take your miracle. Know that His promises are true; trust the blood; trust your God. The place is filled with the glory of God. I am looking at the glory in the vision now. I actually see His glory; I see life, life in the vision. He is moving for you. If you have a back condition, let Him make you whole. If you need a hip or knee replacement, He can do that. We believe in good doctors, good hospitals, good medicines, but when man is not able to do all you need done, the Lord made it possible that divine healing, divine miracles were born in Bethlehem for you. You with your love-hands serving the Lord, wanting to do more and more for the Lord: Give yourself the Jesus touch and be healed in the name of Jesus.

Lord, lay a healing, miracle hand on everyone who needs a miracle today. Those who need a heart miracle, a lung miracle: Re-create those organs. Anyone suffering with HIV/AIDS, cancer or any other death disease, Lord, make that one completely whole. Anyone bound with paralysis, set him or her free as you have set so many people free through this Jesus ministry. Lord, you’re here. We’re in the cloud of your presence.

Be healed from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet. What a Savior! The greatness of that night in Bethlehem is here now. It’s in the heart of many of you, that holy night with its mighty benefits. Those holy promises born that night and the truth that was born that night hide in your heart so you will not sin against Him. What a holy Godhead is ours! Be thou made whole!

I look back to that young preacher, twenty-three years old, in a dying condition. I realized I had just a few days left to live. All faith seemed to have gone and hope was fading. I could almost see myself waist deep in quicksand; I knew I was sinking fast. Then Jesus came and made me whole all over just as He wants to make you whole.

Take His thought; use the thought of His mighty healing power. His thoughts are not your thoughts. Use the miraculous thoughts of God; He wants to serve you with His thoughts.

God be with you; God keep you. May this be one of the greatest days—or maybe the greatest day in your life so far. All the power of deliverance from sin and sickness born in Bethlehem that holy night is for you to be made whole soul, mind, and body.
