Possible

Jesus said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God (Luke 18:27). Let this verse sink deep within you because you will never be able to turn everything over to the Lord until you believe it with your whole heart. Then keep it before you and let it work for you. I know from experience that it works, and I know that we have Jesus for everything we need on this journey. I have never seen a case that was not possible, so is it mission possible or impossible with you?
Do you know that the word “possible” is not mentioned one time in the Old Testament? The reason is because after man had sinned in Eden, all things were not possible until Jesus came and became our Redeemer Kinsman. He is our all in all, and He lives and dwells in us. Paul said, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me (Galatians 2:20).
God Makes People Whole
To those who are disobedient and neglect prayer and fasting, it is mission impossible. In Mark’s Gospel, there is a story of a young boy who suffered from what today we would call epilepsy. At first, the boy’s daddy had taken him to the disciples; but they could not cast out the devils. Then he took him to Jesus who delivered the boy and made him whole. Later, the disciples asked Jesus, Why could not we cast him [the devil] out? And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting (Mark 9:28,29).
Not many Christians today are truly godly people who fast, but Jesus said we must. We have to be like Jesus, and I seek to be just as much like Him as I possibly can. The Lord told me years ago that prayer, fasting and living in the Word would bring people into His greatness, and this ministry has brought so many people in by our people doing those things.
When I was holding a crusade in Rwanda, I met one of the country’s governors who had suffered a stroke. It was so bad that he had to learn to talk again; and although it had been eight years, he did not have all of his speech back. His right side was paralyzed, so he had to learn to do what scribbling he could with his left hand; and he had to get around with crutches or some other aid. He came to one of our services, and the people watched the Lord make him perfectly whole when I laid a hand on him and prayed for him. He could speak clearly; and his hand, his arm and his entire right side came to normal. It was impossible with man, but it was possible with God.
That governor was well-known; and when he gave his testimony in front of those thousands of people, they went wild with joy. It is wonderful to see a crowd like that praising God and not the devil. Thousands of them had already been delivered from witchcraft, and that miracle set the place on fire.
At another time, one of our ladies had suffered a stroke; and her mouth was drawn way over to the side. The Lord told me, “Just pat her cheek, and it will gradually move.” It did begin to move, and soon it was normal. That woman walked out healed because all things are possible to those who believe.
Seven Days of Grace
In Noah’s day, was it possible for eight people to build an ark? Yes, and God waited 120 years for the ark to be built; that is how much He loves each one of us. And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark (Genesis 7:23).
After the ark was finished, the animals went in; but the people of that day would not. The Lord was not able to work with the human clay, but He could work with the animals. How sad. When the animals and Noah’s family were on board, God let the door stay open for seven days; but no one else entered. And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth, There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah. And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth (Genesis 7:7-10).
Seven is God’s perfect number. During those seven days, the people jeered and shouted, “We don’t see any clouds; we don’t see any rain! We knew you were building that ark for nothing. We knew all of you were crazy!”
Once the seven days were over, the Bible says, And the LORD shut him in (Genesis 7:16). God shut that door and sealed it up, and it would not open for over a year. Many people think Noah’s family was in the ark for only 40 days and nights. No. That was how long it rained, and water covered the whole Earth.
Was it possible for God to destroy the whole human race? Yes. Every living soul died except the eight inside the ark, just as people today who are not in the ark Jesus will soon be destroyed.
Those seven days of grace are here again—the ark Jesus is open to the whole world, saith the Lord. God has not called on us to build the ark, but He has called on you and me to fill up the ark with souls; and then the end is coming, saith the Lord. We are end-time people, and you must believe that to be looking for Jesus to come. He said He will come only for those who are looking for Him, and you won’t be looking for Him without having the Holy Ghost. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch (Mark 13:35-37).
When it started to rain, the people in Noah’s day pounded on the door of the ark and shouted, “Now, we believe!” And it will be that way after the one flight out has taken place. You who are not ready will be a believer then, but the Lord will not come back for you. With all of God’s power made available to us in this great pouring-out dispensation of the Holy Ghost, you would not accept Him and let Him direct your life. You would not let Him teach you, so He will no longer be available to you; the door will be closed. The Holy Ghost will have finished with the Bride of Christ. He had come to seek a Bride for Jesus, and He had done a perfect job; and the Bride will be at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
A Miracle Supply
During the whole year that Noah’s family and the animals were on the ark, God filled up the meal barrels. Unbelievers cannot figure it out, so they say it was impossible, that there could not have been enough food on the ark for the people and all of the animals; but the Lord did the same thing in Elijah’s day—there was a miracle meal barrel in a widow woman’s house.
When Elijah had arrived at the woman’s house, she had just a little meal left; and her oil cruse was almost empty. She was out gathering a few sticks so she could make one last little cake, and then she and her son were going to starve to death. But the Lord told her through the prophet of God, Elijah, Make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah (I Kings 17:13-15).
The woman believed in Jehovah God, and she obeyed. She had to have felt God’s anointing and recognized that Elijah was a prophet of God, so she passed up her son and baked that cake.
To please God, we have to sacrifice those who are closest to us and love us the most; then God will help us so that we can please them the way He wants them to be pleased. I can just hear the boy crying, “Mama, come back! Don’t give the cake away; I am so hungry!” The woman gave the cake to the man of God and hurried back into the house; and because her son was crying so, she decided to look into the meal barrel again. She was sure she had not left anything; but when she looked, the meal barrel was running over. Then she looked into the oil cruse, and it was also filled. And she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah (I Kings 17:15,16).
That would have been impossible with man, but it was possible with God. Unbelievers have tried to figure out how something like that could have happened and decided it was impossible, but we look and see the great word “possible”; and we dare not doubt it.
All things are possible with God. He is the one who spoke the universe into existence, and the Bible says He hung it upon nothing. He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing. He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them (Job 26:7,8). God spoke the stars, the moon and the sun into existence. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also (Genesis 1:16).
God performed another miracle on the ark when He didn’t allow four couples to get pregnant during the 120 years that they were building the ark or during the time when they were on the ark. But when the water finally receded and the big ark door opened, the four women began to have babies. All things are possible with God.
Have No Doubt
Remember what God did for Abraham and Sarah when they had a child in their old age. Sarah didn’t know it was an angel telling Abraham that they would have a child; and when she heard it, she did not believe it. And he [the angel] said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also? And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son (Genesis 18:10-14).
Abraham and Sarah waited 25 years for that child, but Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness (Romans 4:3). When you believe God, you are reaching for the righteousness of God; and that makes all things possible, saith the Lord. Cancer melts, and diabetes disappears. God loves to heal diseases that doctors cannot cure.
I believe in good doctors, and I have friends who are doctors. They believe in what I’m doing, and I believe in what they are doing; and some even send their patients to me.
Fear Hinders
Why will you doubt God and let fear take you over when a doctor tells you he can’t help you? That is when you should decide that the Lord is going to heal you. Divine love casts out all fear. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear (I John 4:18).
Fear hinders people from receiving healings and miracles more than any other thing. Job said, The thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me (Job 3:25). Job had lost everything; and his wife said to him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh (Job 2:9,10). Job told her she talked like a sinner; but Job blessed God saying, The LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD (Job 1:21). That is how you come out of whatever you are in.
I love that big word “possible,” and I love to choke the devil with it. Stop tiptoeing around the devil. It is time to wake up, to know who you are and to know that all things are possible when you believe. “Possible” means capable of happening or existing; being within the limits of ability or capacity of realization; capable of favorable development or potential. You can’t possibly take in what your potential is with God. The Lord can only reveal it through the blood and the power of the Holy Ghost.
One year, when my wife, Angel, and I traded in our car for a new one, a lady who had a deformed son bought our car. The boy had been deformed since birth, and the doctors could not help him. He didn’t even have a whole brain; but when he rode in that car, he came to normal. The Lord gave the mother the wisdom to return to the car dealer; and she asked the manager, “Who owned the car I bought here?” He answered, “Rev. Ernest Angley.” She said, “My son was born deformed, but now he is normal; and I know it was because of what was in that car. There was a presence in that car that brought him to normal.” That had to have been God who had let her know that.
Years later, that mother went with a group of people I took to the Holy Land; and during that trip, she told me the story of her son’s miracle. If you are a believer today, you will believe that story; but if you are a doubter, you are in bad shape. To be a doubter is worse than having a deadly disease.
Believe in Divinity
The word “impossible” was destroyed when a virgin gave birth to the Son of God. It was impossible, but yet it was possible to the ones who believed. The prophets had said Christ would be born of a virgin. Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14).
You have to be careful of the different versions of the Bible that are available today because many of the people who put them together don’t believe in the Virgin Birth or in divine signs and wonders, and they leave out those parts of the Bible. At least one translation says that a young woman was with child, denying the Virgin Birth.
When I was in theological school, I studied the background of the King James Version of the Bible. That king loved the Word of God, and he wanted a translation of it in his name; so he chose 70 great scholars whom he felt were perfect, and they were all kept in seclusion while they translated the whole Bible. Then the king brought them all together, and their work was checked; and not one wrong word was found. The King James Version of the Bible is a perfect translation, so that is the only translation I believe in.
Years ago, it was found that over 90 percent of the students in the United States who were studying for the ministry did not believe in the Virgin Birth; so it is no wonder that there are so many dead churches today. They have no signs, no wonders, no miracles, no healings and no salvation. There are dead men and women in the pulpits and dead people in the pews, and all the people want to do is to get together to talk, eat and make merry. They have only a social Gospel; but that is the world church, and everything is impossible to them. However, in the Jesus Church, the great word “possible” cannot be magnified enough. It includes all the strength of Almighty God.
Think about the miracle of the ark again. When the Flood was over, God put a rainbow in the sky. God loves beautiful colors, and that rainbow represented His promise that He would never flood the Earth with water again. And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; And with every living creature that is with you…neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. And God said…I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth (Genesis 9:8-13).
Evil Returned
After the Flood, Noah’s family began to replenish the Earth; but disobedience returned, too. Soon, the people had such a little bit of sense about them that they started to build a tower to reach to Heaven. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city (Genesis 11:4-8).
Many wonder how the different colors of people came about, but God gave me a divine revelation of knowledge about it. He told me that when He confounded the people’s language, He also changed their colors. Some people have thought that God put a curse on the black people, but that is a lie of the devil. He told me that He didn’t put a curse on any race of people; He changed their colors to keep them separated because they had come together against Him.
Weighed and Found Wanting
Babylon was full of the devil, and so much evil came out of that kingdom. The people thought their kingdom could never be destroyed, and King Belshazzar thought he was just fine. He stole the holy vessels from the temple in Jerusalem and used them to have a wild party where the people drank wine and worshiped every god but the true God…but Belshazzar didn’t know what was about to happen that night.
Belshazzar the king made a great feast to a thousand of his lords…Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of God which was at Jerusalem; and the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, drank in them. They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone. In the same hour came forth fingers of a man’s hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaster of the wall of the king’s palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote. Then the king’s countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote one against another. The king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers (Daniel 5:1,3-7).
When the hand began to write on the wall, Belshazzar was so scared that his knees started to shake. He became sober immediately and cried, “Bring in the wise men, the soothsayers and the astrologers!” So much sin and darkness came out of Babylon, the city of the devil.
Then came in all the king’s wise men: but they could not read the writing, nor make known to the king the interpretation thereof (Daniel 5:8). The devil had not written the message, so he didn’t know what it said; and God would not let those devilish people and so-called wise men read it. Then the queen told the king about Daniel, and he called for him.
Then was Daniel brought in before the king. And the king spake and said unto Daniel…the wise men, the astrologers, have been brought in before me, that they should read this writing, and make known unto me the interpretation thereof: but they could not shew the interpretation of the thing: And I have heard of thee, that thou canst make interpretations, and dissolve doubts: now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom (Daniel 5:13,15,16). The king began to tell Daniel all that he would give him, but Daniel wasn’t interested in those things. He was there to tell Belshazzar that his fate was written on the wall.
And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians. In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain (Daniel 5:25-28,30).
That night, Babylon fell into the hands of the enemy; and Belshazzar died. Today, he is still in hell waiting for the White Throne Judgment, and then he will be cast into the lake of fire.
God’s Will Brings Life
When people die, they go either to Heaven or to hell; they don’t go to the grave with their body. The real person is the soul, and the Bible tells us plainly that He will bring those who die in the Lord with Him when He comes. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (I Thessalonians 4:16,17).
God told another king, Hezekiah, that he was going to die. The king was sick; and the Lord spoke to him through the prophet Isaiah saying, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live (Isaiah 38:1). Unlike Belshazzar, Hezekiah had his house in order; and he wept before the Lord, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying, Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years (Isaiah 38:3-5). The Lord gave Hezekiah 15 more years because of his perfect heart.
The Lord can renew your youth and multiply your years. Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalm 103:5). If you are not living in the divine will of God, you will die before your time; but when you are in the divine will of God, you will not die until God says so. You have nothing to fear or worry about.
The Fire Fell
It is impossible for a man to call down fire from Heaven; but through God, Elijah did that. The man of God had said to the people, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him (I Kings 18:21).
Elijah wanted to convince the Baal worshippers that his God was the true and living God, so he made an agreement with them that the God who answered by fire would be the real God. Call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken (I Kings 18:24).
The sacrifice was prepared, and the Baal worshippers called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered (I Kings 18:26). When nothing happened, they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them (I Kings 18:28).
When they gave up, Elijah rebuilt the altar and had barrels of water poured over the sacrifice and around the altar. Then he prayed a little prayer of just 63 words, and the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God (I Kings 18:38,39). The Baal worshipers found out that what was impossible for man was possible with Jehovah God.
Strength from On High
When Ahab reported that Elijah had killed all the prophets of Baal, Jezebel said she was going to kill him. Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time (I Kings 19:2). Elijah ran into the wilderness, fell under a juniper tree and asked God to take his life; but instead, God sent an angel to cook for him. That was only possible with God. Then an angel touched him [Elijah], and said unto him, Arise and eat. And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again (I Kings 19:5,6).
I am sure the angel kept the bugs and flies off of him while he slept, and then he cooked another meal for him. And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee. And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God (I Kings 19:7,8). Elijah went in the power of those two meals for 40 days and nights; they had brought life to him. Elijah wasn’t fasting for all of those days; the food from Heaven had filled him to the brim, and he didn’t need to eat again during that time. I don’t know what was in those meals; but I would like to know the recipe, wouldn’t you?
Elijah climbed the mount of God; and the Lord said to him, What doest thou here, Elijah? And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away. And the LORD said unto him…Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him (I Kings 19:13-15,18). The devil can lie to you through fear, and some of you have fear. Just because your mama or daddy died with a disease, you think you will die with it. If you are a child of God, that disease has to stop with you. It is true that heart trouble, lung trouble, cancer and diabetes run in families; but those things can stop with a real child of God. You just have to believe that it is possible.
If someone dies, people will ask, “What did he die with?” You don’t have to die with anything. Jesus took the shadows out of the valley of death; so when the Lord gets ready to take you to Heaven, you can just go to sleep and wake up in Glory through the blood. Impossible? No. All things are possible with God.
God Saved Entire Nations
It seemed impossible for Joseph to have become the second in power in Egypt; but with God, he did. He was just a slave boy, but he saved his nation; and Joseph is the best type of Jesus in the Old Testament. When he was reunited with his brothers, he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt. Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life. For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest. And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt (Genesis 45:4-8).
Moses led the entire Israelite nation out of bondage, but then he had a hard time getting them to serve God. Hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes (Deuteronomy 4:34)?
When Moses was on the mount of God receiving the Ten Commandments from God Himself, the Israelites gave over to the devil. And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
God was so angry with the people that He killed 3000 of them. Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD’s side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour. And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men (Exodus 32:7,8,26-28).
Love Brings Possibilities
Some people will blame God when He takes a loved one to Heaven, but God gave His whole heart to make it possible for our loved ones to go there. The Lord told me that when Jesus died on Calvary was the only time He had ever used all of His love. He did not use all of it when He made the first man and woman or when He made a heaven on Earth called Eden. He never used all of His love at any time until He had made a Calvary for you and me. That is why when His Son was crying on the Cross, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me (Matthew 27:46)? God told me He had to bring darkness upon the Earth and turn His back to keep from coming down.
That was the worst day God has ever had. He said if people don’t accept Jesus and His sacrifice on Calvary, He has no more love to give them; He gave it all. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
Jesus went all the way and died for each one of us. In the Garden of Gethsemane, He was so tortured that God sent an angel to strengthen Him. Jesus told the Father, If thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him (Luke 22:42,43).
Let’s add a little more to that big word “possibility.” It is the condition or fact of being possible; it is achievable, attainable and reliable. We have God’s favor for all things to be possible, and we are told that in every one of the Gospels.
In Mark, Jesus told a father, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23). You can’t believe God only part of the time and get what you need. Some of you sink down into “little faith” which is human faith, and human faith won’t work. If you’re using human faith, you might as well just leave your prayer room because only divinity will work; and Jesus brought nothing but divinity. He was already very God, but He came to Earth and took on the fashion of a man and proved that divinity works. Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross (Philippians 2:6-8).
Only Believe
The Bible says Peter walked the waters. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt (Matthew 14:29-31)?
Jesus said, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed [and that is the smallest seed in the world], ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you (Matthew 17:20). Faith is the same in the valley as it is on the mountain peak; you just have more vision and get more feeling on the mountain peak. However, the same faith, the same help and the same big word “possible” are in the valleys; and the waters of life flow through those valleys.
Jesus said, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible (Mark 10:27). The angel said to Mary, For with God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37). When you use the divine blood, it destroys everything. Divine blood delivered you from all of your sins, and there is no disease that it cannot deliver you from. When Jesus healed people, He healed them of everything; and He even raised the dead.
Power to Raise the Dead
The great Apostle Paul believed that with God all things are possible; and one time when he was preaching, a man fell from the third loft and died. And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead (Acts 20:9). But Paul walked over and commanded death to have no more power over the man. And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him. When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed. And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted (Acts 20:10-12). Was it possible? Yes, because children of God have the life of Jesus that raises the dead.
I have prayed for dead people who have come to life, and they have testified of what they saw. One time when my team members and I were traveling in the United States, our truck was not balanced right; and it flipped over on a mountain. The driver, one of our singers, died. The singer’s nephew and I rushed to get to the emergency room; but when we got there, he was dead, and the doctors turned the body over to us. However, we wouldn’t accept it, and we prayed him back. We did not give up on him because we needed him. God needed him here on Earth, too, and God let him come back to us. Is it possible for a person to die and go to Heaven and the Lord bring him back? Yes. We have witnesses.
Years ago, my daddy had what the doctors said was the worst kind of heart attack anyone could have. The nurses weren’t even allowed to lift him up to take his shirt off because the doctors said he would probably die if they did. The ministry people and I prayed for him; and at four o’clock the next morning, the nurse came in and saw Dad sitting up on the side of the bed. She said, “Oh, Mr. Angley, you are not supposed to sit up or even get up at all.” But when the doctors checked him, they said there was no sign that he had ever had a heart attack.
Salvation Is Possible
All things are possible, and the Lord wants to move for you today. You can have the perfect heart; the blood will do it, and the blood makes everything possible. If you have a deformed child who was born with just part of a brain, God will re-create it; He has done it again and again through this Jesus world outreach ministry. Is it possible? Yes. God said it; I believe it, and that settles it. Praise the name of the Lord! It is possible through the blood of the Lamb. Through the blood of Jesus, He brought healing from Heaven to us; and it is yours.
You who are unsaved, come to Jesus; that is the first step. Pray this prayer right now. Oh, God, save my soul. I am so sorry that I sinned against you; you have always been good to me. You have always loved me, and now I have come home to never go back into the night again. I will serve you for the rest of my life. I am all yours, and I believe that your divine blood washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in, Jesus! If you meant that prayer, He has come; and you are a born-new son or daughter of the Lord.
I am a Holy Ghost preacher, and I believe in the Holy Ghost; so now that you are saved, you must go on to seek the Holy Ghost. If you are not seeking the Holy Ghost, you need to get saved, saith the Lord.
Miracles Are Possible
Now, you qualify for physical healing, and it is time for you to be healed if you are really going to serve God. Lord, here they are. I curse the AIDS virus in the bodies of people today. Those with cancer, heart trouble, lung trouble, diabetes and strokes, heal them! Heal the little children who have been born deformed and those with just part of a brain. You have done it again and again. Heal! in the holy name of the Lord. Heal! in the all-powerful name of Jesus. Be thou made well.
Embrace that word “possible.” You must use it; and it will produce miracles, saith the Lord. But you have to hold on to it because the devil will try to get you away from that word by using the word “impossible.”
God be with you is my prayer. Go and sin no more. Serve the Lord and get well; and always remember that with God, all things are possible if you believe. Remember that Jesus went to the whipping post; and with His blood stripes, we are healed.
