Many of you have a picture album that you treasure. Some of those pictures are very valuable to you; some can never be replaced. You love those pictures, but how many pictures in your mind do you have of Jesus? In His picture album, the Bible, you find picture after picture of Him. Have you ever thought about how many pictures there must be in this one album of Jesus? He appears in many different lights.

First of all you see Jesus as a little baby. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger (Luke 2:11,12). A picture of the Christ child is in your mind. How often have you looked at that picture in the light of the Holy Spirit? Not some painting or drawing, not an image of someone else’s imagination, but a mental picture of your own—how many times have you opened the Bible, and seen that picture? In your mind’s eye you looked in total awe and imagined what He must have looked like, what He must have been like—this wonderful baby.

If you really looked into the manger you saw love. Not just an ordinary baby did you see; you saw much more: divine love, grace, and faith. You saw divine blood, divine hope for the whole human race. You saw a little baby who would grow up to one day be your sacrificial Lamb. Have you ever looked into the manger and wondered how so much could be in one picture? The next time you open your Bible, see the picture of the Christ child in a reality you have never seen Him before.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 1:18). Jesus was the most unusual baby ever born on planet Earth, a child of the Holy Ghost and the virgin Mary. He was wonderful to behold! What a valuable picture it is, what profound meaning shines forth from it! When you look at the Christ child, remember He means life to you. That picture of Jesus is your door into Heaven; that picture is healing from all diseases and afflictions; that picture means miracles for you. Not only is abundant life here on Earth found in that picture, but eternal life also. Look at the album of Jesus today through the Holy Scriptures.

Picture Jesus as a Child

We see Jesus at twelve years of age; what a marvelous child He was! And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers (Luke 2:42,43,46,47). Any question the doctors and lawyers asked Him He answered. Look at Him; look at this picture. Have you ever seen such a scene? A twelve-year-old with all the answers for the whole world, an answer for every question man has had from the time Adam and Eve left the Garden of Eden. There were no questions in Eden; in Eden all was answered, but outside the Garden only questions and not many answers. For so many thousands of years there were very few answers, but at last you see the answers in the picture of the young boy in the temple speaking to learned men. Look at this picture. In your spirit, in your mind, can’t you almost hear the voice of a young Jesus? What sweetness is in His voice, what melody there! Oh how it thrills me to think of Him, to think of that wonderful voice!

Picture the Compassionate Jesus

Then as we turn the page, suddenly we see Jesus as the Redeemer kinsman, our big brother, our guardian, our refuge, our sacrificial Lamb. He’s Lord, Master, Savior—what a picture!

Look into the face of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit; it’s amazing what comes forth, the unspeakable joy, the love and compassion. Have you ever looked at the picture of Him as the compassionate Christ? If not, you have missed much. Again and again I’ve looked upon Him as the compassionate Christ. No one has ever been as compassionate as Jesus. Mark 6:34, And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them. Take in this beautiful picture of the compassionate Christ and never forget it. The great compassion He had for people when He walked the earth He still has today.

Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick (Matthew 14:14). Moved with compassion, Jesus healed the people. Do you ever look at such a beautiful picture? Look and know that He hasn’t changed.

Many people look at pictures of friends and loved ones, but they don’t carefully look at the pictures of Jesus in the Holy Bible. That’s the reason they don’t have confidence in Him, don’t put perfect trust in Him. Study this man, Jesus; study His pictures. Gain the reality of their worth so that you can pass it on to others, pass it on to the world that needs this Jesus so desperately.

I go into countries where many people have never really been shown a picture of Jesus. Devil worshipers all of their lives, they exist in darkness, darkness, darkness. We must show them how wonderful, how great Jesus is.

In order to see all of these beautiful pictures of Jesus as He really is, you must come into the light of the Spirit, into divine light through divine blood. People have looked at Him, thought and wondered about Him, but we as children of God can see Him. He is marvelous indeed, this Christ, this Christ!

Picture the Good Shepherd

Christ was attentive to the people who had come to Him, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things (Mark 6:34). Lost without a shepherd, people saw great light when Jesus came. Picture Him now as the Good Shepherd. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep (John 10:11). Daily feast your eyes on that picture of Jesus saying: I am the good shepherd; I watch over you. If a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray (Matthew 18:12,13). I’d leave those safe in the fold when I was here on Earth, and go looking for that one little lost lamb. That’s compassion! The great Christ had come down, the Only Begotten of the Father—what a picture from Heaven!

The Lord made it possible for us to have these pictures, to have the greatest album that’s ever been. This Jesus album is priceless, one that cannot be bought with silver and gold; and yet sometimes Christians don’t put much value on it, don’t seek out the pictures of Christ. They may look at a picture of a loved one again and again, but they need to study the pictures of Christ.

Jesus began to teach many things. Full of sympathy and love, He told the people, Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27). What great sympathy He used for troubled, despairing people! He was ready to take all the fear out of everyone who would come to Him.

See the compassionate Jesus as He said, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28). I’ve studied that picture so many times, tried to paint it in all kinds of colors to show people that He really means what He said: He can handle any problem.

Picture the Bread of Life

All we have to do is take our problems, our burdens to Jesus and trust Him. To look at such a Christ whom we can trust, a Redeemer who loves us so much, is great security. See the one who would come all the way from Heaven saying, I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world (John 6:51). I’m bread; I’m life, and I’ve come to give you life. Jesus left His home in Glory to bring life to creatures so lowly that they were made out of the dust of the earth. What a picture, what a picture!

I see a picture of Christ, a picture full of glorious colors: gold, red, blue. If you want to know what colors mean to God, go back into Old Testament days to the building of the temple where every color had a meaning. The colors I find in these pictures of Jesus all have meaning.

Many types and shadows of Jesus are found in the Old Testament. The pictures in the Old Testament show the Christ to come; His miraculous divine blood is in the shadows. But in the New Testament He appears in all His greatness in living reality.

What a wonderful picture Isaiah the prophet painted of Jesus when he wrote, His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). Let your mind be lifted into lofty heights with Isaiah. Take another look at Jesus: He’s Wonderful, He’s your Counsellor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father and the Prince of Peace. Look at this picture and see peace, wonderful peace. Isn’t that a beautiful picture?

Picture a Heart of Yearning

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not (Luke 13:34)! Jesus looking over Jerusalem—what a heart-rending picture! O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, He cried with all the compassion of His heart, with all the compassion of the light in Him. His was the compassion of divinity and humanity combined. You killed the prophets; you stoned them! I’ve yearned for you to come, I would have given you rest. I’ve called for you to come to me—I love you so much. I wanted to gather you to me like a hen gathereth her chicks, but you would not, you would not. Those people didn’t see the true picture; they didn’t know the real Christ. To them He was just another man.

How many times have you opened this album, the holy scriptures of the New Testament, and all you saw was just another man? How many times through tear-dimmed eyes have you seen the loving Christ, the Christ with sympathy, with miracle helping hands ready to touch your eyes, dry all your tears? To see Him as He is will lift you out of any valley. The real picture of Jesus will help you to climb any mountain, no matter how high. With this real picture of Jesus, you have the strength, the love, the faith of Heaven; in fact, you have the very heart of God.

To see the heart of God, look at these wonderful pictures of Jesus. When God gave Jesus, He gave His whole heart. The Lord used all His love, all His heart to make us a Calvary. If you want to know what God looks like, study this album; study the pictures of Jesus. Jesus said, He that hath seen me hath seen the Father (John 14:9). Why? because He was the Father’s heart. Picture the loving Christ: No hate, no envy, no strife was in Him at all. Oh, what a wonderful Jesus!

Picture a Miracle of Supply

Regard the consideration Jesus had for others. Thousands followed Him into the desert, and He was concerned that they had no food. He told His disciples to give the people something to eat. Give them something to eat? We don’t have anything ourselves! Send them away. But the Lord was considerate of them: Why, they’re liable to perish. They’ve been here all day in this hot sun; they need food. One of the disciples told the Lord, There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten (John 6:9-13). Not only did five barley loaves and two small fishes feed the 5,000, twelve baskets of barley loaves were left over. If God is going to make a miracle, He wants you to know it’s a miracle.

When I look at Christ multiplying the loaves, I find that believing for miracles is easy because this picture means so much to my heart. Many times I’ve looked at this picture; many times I’ve pondered over those barley loaves. They couldn’t have been very big because that little boy had them in his basket. The two fishes were probably very small as well.

Look again at this considerate Christ. The disciples didn’t have the money to pay their taxes; they’d been following Jesus, trusting Him. Jesus turned to Simon, the biggest fisherman with Him, and said, Go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee (Matthew 17:27). Would you have gone? Some would have thought Jesus was in fanaticism, and would have left in a hurry. Those who are afraid to trust Him won’t see this picture of Christ.

Did you ever really look at Simon? He was just a man, an ordinary fisherman, rugged looking, rough hands. See him pulling out a fish. See his eyes grow big as he looks into the fish’s mouth. His heart must have leaped as he cried, There it is! What a beautiful picture!

The reason some people don’t get their needs supplied is because they won’t look at this picture; again and again they pass it by. You may have been through this album many times; but for some of you, now it will be a different album. Take your Bible and look again at these pictures of Jesus. See things you never dreamed were in the album, things you never took to heart.

Picture a Changeless Christ

Go to the picture in Hebrews: Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8). Until you look into the album and see what Jesus was yesterday, you won’t know what He is today. The pictures of yesterday when He was here on Earth are the same as His pictures today. See all the compassion, all the love He displayed, all the wonderful things He did, and you’ll be able to believe Him for today. Why, He’s the same. Look how He was yesterday: He’s the same today! No wonder the blind still get their sight, no wonder believers pray for the deaf and dumb and they hear and speak. No wonder believers lay hands on those who are crippled and they’re made to walk, no wonder! I see that Jesus, too, now; the changeless Jesus who changes lives.

This album has been a part of my life for many, many years now, and it’s going to play an even greater part than ever before in my life because I plan to use the whole New Testament to evangelize the world. All the power I can get others to use will help bring millions out of darkness into light because we’re going to tell them what Jesus really looks like. We’re going to describe Him in such a loving, personal way that many people will be drawn to Him who never thought they would ever want Him.

Picture the Effectual, Fervent Prayer

Ponder the pictures of the praying Christ. He communicated with the Father—sometimes He spent all the night through in holy communion. Jesus didn’t make it a chore; He loved that close bond He had with the Father. He would steal away from the disciples and have a wonderful time talking with the Father. Isn’t that a glorious picture! We have the same connection, the same privilege. Look at that picture; don’t pass it by.

Jesus came to show us how to get our prayers answered, how to live holy. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much (James 5:16), the Bible tells us. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry (Psalm 34:15).

Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do (John 14:13). Jesus said, I will grant it; the Father will grant it. If you haven’t looked at this praying Jesus, you haven’t looked at Him enough.

The picture in the Garden of Gethsemane is only one picture of the praying Jesus. Never on Earth has there been a more praying person than Jesus. He talked to the Father hours at a time, communicating in love and peace, being lifted up to the Father’s bosom—just as we can be. If you yield to Him, the Lord can lift you out of those sorrows, out of those heartaches, out of all that despair because He loves you.

If you think praying is hard sometimes, look again at the picture of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him. And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground (Luke 22:39-44). Don’t depend on the picture of some artist who doesn’t even know Jesus; let the Holy Spirit paint this picture for you, let Him put in all the colors of agony and darkness, all the tears, the sweat becoming as blood. The Holy Spirit is the one who will really let you see a picture of Jesus, the suffering Christ. He will burn upon your soul the agony that Jesus went through. Jesus the Son of God took our sins, He took our sicknesses—and how He suffered! This is our Christ, our Jesus.

Do you know why Jesus was the all-conquering Christ? Because He used everything the Father gave Him to use. As very man Jesus was served by the Father. He served Jesus divine love, divine grace, divine joy, divine, profound, deep thoughts. The Father served Jesus everything needed; and as a man Jesus took it all and used it, showing us how to use what divinity serves. We’re His disciples and we’re to follow Jesus in all things.

Picture Jesus Walking the Waters

The Bible tells us in Mark 6:48-50, about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them. But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out: For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them. The sea was so rough, the alarmed disciples thought their little boat was about to go down. Suddenly they saw Jesus coming toward them, walking on the water. Looking at this picture of Jesus walking the waters, fear distorted their vision and they thought He was a spirit.

Jesus was considerate of the terrified disciples, and He cried, It is I; be not afraid (Mark 6:50)! Imagine how that voice sounded as He came walking right on toward them! Jesus didn’t come to give them a heart attack; He came to let them see the greatness of divinity.

Look at Him walking your waters of life. What do you see? I don’t see a spirit; I see my Christ, my Redeemer, my Savior. I see the one I met one night at an old-fashioned altar. He forgave me of all my sins, washed them all away.

Picture Peace in Adversity

In John 16:33 Jesus said, In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Have you known tribulation? Tribulation can give you a picture of yourself in an instant. When that happens, look quickly to Jesus, the one who has overcome the world.

See the picture of Daniel in the den of lions, sleeping with the lions. What a wonderful picture, you think. But if the Lord would let a picture flash before you of yourself in a den of lions on tomorrow, you wouldn’t rejoice over it at all.

Look at the picture of three Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace; move a little closer and see the fourth person, Jesus. It seems like perfection until the Lord says: You’re next. Suddenly you’ve lost the picture. I can look at the three Hebrew boys with Jesus in the fiery furnace; I can look at Daniel in the lion’s den, but I can’t see myself there; my heart’s too weak. The Lord can give you a strong heart, a heart just like He had when He was here on Earth, a heart like Daniel and the three Hebrew boys had.

Why let the storms of life worry you to death? Look at the picture of Jesus saying, Peace, be still (Mark 4:39). Those words calmed the angry sea, Peace, be still; Peace, be still. Only three words, but they appear to be at least three feet high every time you look at them in this picture I’m giving you.

Jesus…said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way (Mark 10:51,52). A blind man was getting ready to be healed—it’s a picture coming to life; that blind man becomes real. I’ve prayed for blind men and I’ve seen their eyes receive sight. I remember these wonderful pictures of Christ in the Holy Scriptures when I’m in the healing lines. As I remember the pictures, they become real to me.

Picture of Remembrance

Pictures bring people to life. You’ll turn through a picture album and your loved ones come to life. All of a sudden, that little baby—he’s thirty or forty years of age now—comes to life. You can still hear that little voice when it first started talking. You remember when your baby took his first steps; you remember all those things. In one picture you made it a point to take his picture when he was wearing no more clothes than when he arrived into the world. There he is, such a little darling, you think. You remember how wonderful it was when he cut his first tooth. I thought he was the most darling thing I had ever seen on planet Earth. I would put my baby beside anyone else’s baby in the whole world and that other baby would look dull next to mine. My little darling, my little darling…And now you’re reliving it all over again. Yes, pictures help you to remember.

I have many pictures of my late wife, but even as long as she’s been gone, I still can’t bear to look at them very long because she comes to life, and I begin to sink. I see those blue eyes shining like stars, those dimples in her cheeks, that wonderful smile. Suddenly I can hear her voice, see the way she would look up at me, so beautiful, so wonderful! There is reality in the picture album, and you can have that reality, if you’ll take time, in the album of Jesus. All of these many pictures of Jesus are in there for you. The Bible is your album, your personal album.

Jesus is speaking to you, telling you He wants to help you. He’s telling you, In my Father’s house are many mansions (John 14:2). Don’t worry about the material things of life; all things will be supplied as you prepare for eternal life with Jesus.

They Forgot the Pictures

Remember the loaves and the fishes; don’t ever forget that picture. Jesus is saying to the disciples: Remember, remember, remember. The disciples got away from that picture; that’s the reason they doubted, and that’s the reason we doubt.

Remember Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration. Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light (Matthew 17:1,2). Peter, James and John were the only ones Jesus took with Him. God expected great things from them, and He wasn’t disappointed at any time with John, I’m sure. John was the youngest of them all, but he was the bravest because he had pictures of the lovely Christ, the loving Christ, the compassionate Christ, the Christ of strength, the Christ of life. At the Crucifixion, John was willing to lay down his life for what he saw in the pictures. Others fled.

Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus. Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it (John 18:10,11)? Simon Peter saw a picture of himself cutting off a man’s ear, but he didn’t understand the picture of Christ reaching down, picking up the ear and healing Malchus. Simon Peter ought to have known the compassion of Jesus; he ought to have known Jesus was the most thoughtful person he had ever met, that it was just like Jesus to stoop down to the ground, pick up the severed ear and put it in place as good as new. Even seeing a mighty miracle like that, Simon Peter still saw the picture the way the enemy wanted him to: Look what I did: I risked my life to protect you, Jesus, and you tell me to put up my sword. You see, people can misinterpret the pictures, put the wrong interpretation on these pictures of love and grace.

Jesus was dying on Calvary, and many saw the wrong picture. When Jesus died, the disciples doubted the Resurrection. If only they had kept the picture of Him telling them about the Resurrection, telling them that death couldn’t hold Him, that no man could take His life—but they forgot those pictures. However, when He came forth from the tomb, they got out the album in a hurry.

Mary Magdalene forgot that Jesus said He would rise again; that’s the reason she was searching for His body. Thomas gave up, blotted out the pictures of Christ. Christ had left many pictures in the disciples hands, their very own personal pictures, pictures of His loving touch, His healing touch, the life-giving Christ. He was wonderful indeed! Oh, why did they fail?

Jesus had come to save us from the ignorance, superstition and sin that the world was so bound with. He brought salvation to seal us to God and His loving kindness for all time and eternity. Do you have the picture of your soul being sealed with the blood of life? All the deceitfulness of sin is gone when it’s put under the divine, cleansing blood of Jesus. How wonderful and great!

When we see the pictures of Jesus dying, surely we weep; He’s our sacrificial Lamb, and our heart goes out to Him as we relive the Crucifixion. Spikes are driven into His hands and His feet; a sword pierces His side. His blood flows out. Yes, we look at that scene in grief, but then we see Him conquering death, hell and the grave! He comes forth from the tomb; hell can’t hold Him; death can’t hold Him. There He is! Thank God He lives! Because I live, you’ll never die, He’s saying. What a picture! Never has there been a picture like this.

Picture the Creative Christ

The pictures are lost of God in action with all of Heaven in Eden. They haven’t been passed down from generation to generation. No one knew what the creation in Eden really looked like until they saw the one who helped make the first man standing before them. Look at this picture: Jesus spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing (John 9:6,7). This is one of the most blessed pictures in the New Covenant: Jesus getting down in the clay, spitting on the ground. He makes two little mud balls, anoints the eyes of a man born blind, and says, Go wash and come seeing. This proved He was the one who stooped down to the ground, into the dirt, and made the first Adam. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost, bent down into the dirt and made the first man. How wonderful! And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness (Genesis 1:26).

God made man to fellowship with Him; He made him to never have an ache, never have a pain; but many people don’t get that picture, and they blame God for misfortune or sickness. Never blame God. God has nothing to do with sickness and death. With his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Jesus gave His life so that we would never die, that we would live on and on like God Himself as the endless ages roll. No, I never blame God for anything bad; I’m too busy thanking Him for all the good, for all the wonderful blessings, for everything He’s doing.

Get a clear picture of Jesus. He couldn’t change the world, but He brought that which we need to change us and to change every human being who wants to be changed. Every human being who wants to can go to Heaven. Someone at last had come to give satisfaction, to give such love. Think about it.

Jesus told the disciples of another Comforter who would come: The Holy Spirit Himself would live and dwell on the inside of us. He opened the way for us to never be lonely or alone anymore. Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world (I John 4:4). Greater is He that liveth in us than he that liveth in the world. God in us…God in us! No soul is so lonely that it cannot find peace and joy in the reality of Jesus.

Wonderful pictures of the healing Christ, beautiful pictures of a coming Messiah are found in the Old Testament, but in the New Testament those pictures have come to life. Paul carried those pictures with him. Go through the album, and let Paul show you Jesus. Although Paul never saw Jesus in the flesh, he knew Him, knew His compassion, His love, His thoughtfulness, His caring. Paul saw Jesus as the Good Shepherd, the Bread of life, the Lily in the valley, the Bright and Morning Star, the soon coming King. He received a revelation of the Rapture in a more vivid way than anyone else.

Look into the Word of God; this album is big. Don’t ever let it get away from you; caress it to your heart. Never let this album be a chore to go through, only a pleasure, a joy. Every time a picture of Christ presents itself, treasure it, study it; and you’ll learn more and more about Him. Oh, Holy Spirit tell me more, and the Holy Spirit is saying, Study the pictures, keep looking at the pictures. Every time you look, you learn something new.

Pictures of Salvation and Healing

Oh, blessed Redeemer, oh precious Christ, oh loving, serving hands that came to serve! Oh, blessed voice of Him who speaks like no one else has ever been able to speak! What a wonderful voice that all can recognize! Every member of the bridal company will hear that voice one day.

You who are unsaved, I hope I have painted a picture of a loving Christ. I hope I’ve held up a picture before you from this Bible that says, Here He is! Here’s your Redeemer! Here’s the one who died for you. Look at Him—He’s the very Son of God. He came all the way from Heaven to wash away all your sins. Move in a little closer and see this wonderful picture. See the blood as it was spilled on Calvary for you. Won’t you come and kneel at the foot of the Cross right now? He will forgive you. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9). Hear Him saying, If you’ll confess your sins, I will forgive you. My blood will cleanse you from all unrighteousness.

Look at this vivid picture of the forgiving Christ and pray: Oh, God, save my soul! I know you love me; I know you died for me, and I will live for you. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all my sins. Come on into my heart, Jesus! Come on in! If you meant that prayer, now you can say, Hallelujah, He has come! Hallelujah, He is mine!

Start praying, reading your Bible. Every time you open your Bible, look for a wonderful picture of Christ. There are so many different pictures of Him, I’ve never been able to count them all, pictures of His love and grace, of His salvation, pictures of Him calling, Follow me and I’ll make you what you need to be.

Look at the picture of the healing Christ. Maybe you or a loved one has AIDS: God has healed thousands of victims of AIDS through this Jesus ministry, those in a dying condition. People have sent us pictures so we could see how healthy they are now; we appreciate the wonderful testimonies coming in from the nations. Lepers are being cleansed, people with heart trouble, diabetes, cancer and all kinds of death diseases are being healed.

This picture of Jesus is saying, Wilt thou be made whole (John 5:6)? Only believe, He said; belief makes all things possible. Lord, I bring the sick and afflicted to you. Lay a healing hand on them and make them well. I’ve given them pictures of you today, pictures of you healing the sick, giving sight to the blind, healing people of all manner of sicknesses and diseases. Heal, in the name of Jesus! Heal, in the all powerful name of Jesus! Heal, heal, I pray! Amen.

Decide you’re going to get well, that your little one is going to get well; and then write and tell me about it. Oh Lord my God, how wonderful He is! How great thou art, our wonderful Jesus!

Pictures of Christ shine forth from your album of life, the Holy Word of the living God. Keep looking at those pictures of Jesus; the album will go on and on from here to eternity. Look at His picture album daily, and let Jesus be living reality in your life.
