Our trust must be in the all-powerful blood of Jesus. Every promise of the New Covenant has been given through the blood. It’s a blood covenant, not the blood of animals, but the divine Jesus blood. A covenant of all covenants, the blood covenant is the most precious thing God could have given us. Thank God we live under the New Covenant and not under the Law! The Law was cruel, with animals being sacrificed, animal blood spilled. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all (Hebrews 10:6-10). The Lord was not pleased with the sacrifice of animal blood, but He is pleased with the divine blood of His Son, pleased that it is the remedy for sin and sickness, the cure for everything that man has caught from the devil.

Man has been afflicted with some awful things from the devil, terrible diseases of sin and sickness for soul, mind and body. But for every disease, every sin, the blood is the remedy. To think that we have one remedy that cures everything is marvelous in my eyes. The divine blood even gives us life, not for just a short span down here on Earth, but life eternal.

Trust in the Blood

John 8:36, If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. If my blood sets you free, Jesus was saying, then you are free, absolutely free. When the blood of Jesus washed away all your sins, you were free. Salvation took place through the blood. You who are sick and afflicted today: Know that there’s power in the blood of Jesus for your healing. Use the blood like you used it for your salvation; it works the same way.

Without shedding of blood is no remission (Hebrews 9:22). Without the shedding of blood there is no deliverance from sin, but through the shed blood we have healing for soul, mind and body.

We must put all our trust in the blood for time and eternity. It seems to me that it would be easy for people to place their trust in the Lord for this short lifespan. Many people, however, let the devil battle them until they are so weakened that they come to the place they doubt, they doubt, they doubt; they even doubt the love in that blood for them. We must trust the blood for deliverance for the soul; the blood transforms lives and it transforms bodies, too; the blood is your divine remedy. Are you going to use it?

Man has found some effective remedies for disease because God has given him the wisdom and knowledge to do so. The Bible said He would do this. But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased (Daniel 12:4). Knowledge has been increased in our day, but it still isn’t good enough; man hasn’t found the cure for everything. It’s through the blood of Jesus that the cure for every sin and sickness is found.

Free from Sin and Sickness

Just as a person can be free from sin, he or she can be free from sickness also. To prove this is true, even before the New Covenant was given, the Lord told the Israelites that if they would be obedient to Him, He would keep sickness away from their door. Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers: And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee (Deuteronomy 7:12,15). God wouldn’t have allowed the Israelites to have gotten sick had they obeyed Him. Although it isn’t the divine will of God for His children to be sick, it doesn’t mean you’re not a child of God if you become ill.

This power in the blood of Jesus is awesome. It has victory over every demonic spirit, over the devil himself, and over all the works of the devil. The Psalmist said, I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation (Psalm 13:5). If you can say today that you are trusting in the blood and in the mercy of the blood, then your heart will rejoice for the healing of your body or the healing of your soul. It’s still salvation whether it’s for the soul or for the body. But as long as you believe that sickness comes from God, you’re in great trouble.

Security for the Obedient

In the blood is security, and yet many of God’s people are insecure. Trust in the blood; be very secure in the blood of Jesus, very secure in the love of the Lord knowing you have a Redeemer, a Savior through the blood. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son (John 3:16). Jesus gave that divine blood from Heaven for us.

The Bible tells us in Ephesians: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8,9). Salvation is through the blood of Jesus, not by works.

Luke 6:46, And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Many people call Jesus Lord, but they don’t live according to His teachings. It’s the obedient life, the obedient heart, the obedient spirit that can reach God. Obedient to the Lord, humble before God, you realize that all the Word speaks of is yours; the Lord has put it within reach of the obedient. The obedient hand is big enough to hold to any of the promises of God.

Do You Doubt the Love of God?

Jesus is our love through the blood. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). The Lord shows us the great power of the blood, the love in the blood. No wonder Paul said, Who shall separate us from the love of Christ (Romans 8:35)? The secret of the overcoming power in the beginning of the Early Church? The devil couldn’t separate them from the love of God. Paul came along later, and after he was converted, he let nothing separate him from the love of God either. In all his persecutions, Paul held to the love of God.

Are you easily separated from God’s love? Is it easy for the devil to separate you from the love of God, to make you doubt God’s love? If so, you need to be rooted and grounded in the Word. You’re not taking root in the Word or you would not doubt the love of God. Doubting His love brings depression, oppression to people. How could you doubt God’s love? Yet some of you do, and that’s the reason you have problems.

Not just a few people, but many at times doubt the love of God. It must be unreal to Heaven. It seems you would doubt your hands, your eyes, your breathing more quickly than you would doubt the love of God. The love of God is more immense than the world itself. You could fill up all the rivers, oceans, streams, every container with love, and there still would be plenty of love left. The Lord could drown the whole world in love, bring it like a flood of water upon the face of the earth, and not begin to use it all.

Learn what causes you to go into depression, into despair; what causes you to be gloomy and blue. What’s in your system? Something from within causes it; depression develops within. As long as you keep love bubbling on the inside, the devil doesn’t have a chance. But if he can get you to crowd that love out with doubt or whatever he can surround you with, he will hinder you from receiving the love God wants you to have.

You say you know God loves you, and yet you really don’t believe He does. If you really believed God loved you, you wouldn’t give over to discouragement and despair. It wouldn’t matter what went wrong; you would know that He loves you and you will be all right. You would know that He will never forsake you and that He will supply all your needs because He loves you; for His eyes are upon you to do you good, not bad. For I will set mine eyes upon them for good (Jeremiah 24:6).

Abide in His Love

We know a little about how human love acts in people, how they will be faithful to their children and stand by their companion if they love them. But human love is so weak that it can’t be compared to divine love. Divine love, divine grace, divine mercy, divine everything of God is for you, divinity, His divine love. How much do we owe for love divine? How much do we owe since Christ is ours? Think how much we owe for the love of God.

Jesus is your love through the blood. He said, If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love (John 15:10). According to the Word of God we are commanded to love one another. But if you fail the Lord, the devil can steal that love from you through the spirit of disobedience. Disobedience is a robber. The devil tries to contaminate, to rob a person of some of the love of God so he or she will be discouraged, depressed. When the heart is filled with the love of God as God intended, that person is an overcomer.

To everyone who is really born new, the first thing God gives is plenty of love. You who are saved can bear witness to that love; when Jesus first came into your heart, you loved everyone. You didn’t have trouble loving your enemies; praying for them was easy.

People will know we are His disciples by our showing love one for another. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another (John 13:34,35).

Love is the answer. And now abideth faith, hope, charity [love], these three; but the greatest of these is charity [love] (I Corinthians 13:13). Charity—love—is even greater than faith. Unless you have the love of God you won’t treasure God’s faith—the Bible. Unless you have His love you won’t live for God, please God. It’s an impossibility to please God without love. Our strength lies in the love that God furnished us. Make sure that you cultivate His love, look out for His love. The brightest jewel of all God’s gifts is His love. Through the love of God you have salvation. Through the love of God you have the grace of deliverance from all your sins. Through the love of God He’s prepared a place for you in His Heaven—that’s real love. How wonderful that the Lord would love us so much that He would prepare for us ahead of time and long for us to come home! Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints (Psalm 116:15). The death of the saints of God is blessed in His eyes because it means they’re coming home to Him.

Ephesians 3:17-19, That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. If you’re not rooted and grounded in the truth, you’ll never be rooted and grounded in love. The dictionary can’t give an adequate picture of God’s love—no one can; it’s beyond definition. There’s no way to measure God’s love, no knowledge to express it, no way to really understand God’s love. But if you by faith receive and cultivate the love of God, you can be filled with all the fullness of Him without understanding all about it.

The reason so many people think they can have little from God today is that they have little of His love. Many reject the baptism of the Holy Ghost due to a lack of love. If they really loved the Lord with all their hearts, they would know that anything God has placed in this Book is theirs.

Hold on to the First Love

Numerous Christians have left their first love. That was one of God’s great accusations against the church at Ephesus. I marvel at all their good deeds, but God said: Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love (Revelation 2:4). In the beginning when the Church had its first love, nothing could tear it apart, nothing could separate the saints of God or defeat them, not persecutions, not temptations; they were able to overcome all the powers of the devil. But then they left their first love.

Those who have left their first love have failed God in different ways; they have been disobedient to Him, done little things they shouldn’t have done. Failing to stay in step with the Lord all the time, they have displeased Him. I watch some who are displeasing God in little ways, and I know they have left their first love.

First love has total obedience, total submission in it. First love is as strong as Heaven itself, believes God to do anything and everything. First love has nothing less than holy living in it; you don’t go astray with your eyes, mind or soul. But when you lose some of your first love, you’re in trouble; and most of the time you don’t want it pointed out to you, don’t want to hear about it, don’t want to believe it.

It’s regrettable when one loses that first love. We all need to get back to the first love, saith the Lord, to our first love in Him. First love is willing to make any sacrifice. First love has all the truth of Heaven in it. In first love there is nothing shady, nothing to hurt God’s influence, not one little particle. First love has all the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for it was given through the grace of God, given with full grace, given with the righteousness and the holiness of God.

Have you ever stopped to think of all that comes through the love of God? Jesus came through the love of God to us—for God so loved. The plan of salvation, the plan of redemption came through God’s great love. The Rapture has been planned through His great love, the catching away of the Bride; all of this comes through God’s great love. If you’ve left your first love, get back to it. First love is praying love, fasting love, Bible study love; great love for the Word is in first love.

Some people wonder why they’re so restless—they have left their first love. You must get back to the first love; you must have that first love. In first love there’s no carelessness, no indifference to what God wants; He comes first; self is put down and kept down in first love.

Little Foxes Spoil the Vines

Some people pray, fast and seek God, and then fail Him in little things. Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes (Song of Solomon 2:15). The big foxes don’t spoil the vines; they can reach the grapes. But the little foxes gnaw at the roots because they can’t get to the fruit. Gnawing at the roots trying to satisfy their hunger, they kill the vine itself.

It’s sad when people let little things gnaw at them. Oh, they don’t count those things as sin, but they’re flirting. Anything you do that has a question mark, anything you do that’s not one hundred percent pleasing to God means you’re flirting with the world and playing with the devil. If you’re not serving God one hundred percent, you’re flirting with sin. Many people have been taken over just that way.

Get to your first love so you can go on into perfection, go on into the place the Lord would have the Bride to go so you won’t miss one step He wants you to take. You who have little things, saith the Lord, you’re going to be held back; if you are doing anything at all outside God’s will, you’re going to be held back.

In the Song of Solomon we find the Bride without spot. Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners (Song of Solomon 6:10)? The Bride, pure through and through, with His love is going to bring in the harvest.

First love has all the divine help, guidance, strength, and healing for the whole you, everything you need. That divine love comes with divine blood; you can’t have the divine love without His divine blood; it’s impossible. You can’t separate the blood and love.

Many do not know how to handle the blood of Jesus. You may have heard the saying again and again, Plead the blood! Plead the blood! Pleading the blood is simply using the blood, handling the blood against sin and sickness. To handle it, you put your sins, your sicknesses under the blood and leave them there for the blood work. You have nothing to do with it; the blood takes care of what you put under the blood. We must learn how to use the blood at all times, how to handle the blood.

Have the Spirit of Forgiveness

Jesus is our forgiveness. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace (Ephesians 1:7). How marvelous that Jesus is our forgiveness! The Father looks upon Him, the price He paid in giving His blood, and He is always ready to accept that blood when we use it.

Mark 11:25, And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. It’s essential to forgive others, to have the spirit of forgiveness if you are to stay under the blood. Not keeping the spirit of forgiveness means you aren’t staying under the blood and its full protection; you leave yourself open to the enemy.

It’s sad when you can’t forgive others. People say they forgive, yet they keep bringing the matter up—perhaps it was something that happened years ago. They haven’t forgiven, and that’s the reason God hasn’t forgiven them. The Lord said He would forgive as we forgive others. I’m careful to forgive; I don’t wait for people to ask my forgiveness. I forgive and leave them in the hands of God. I’m not going to spoil my place in God by carrying something in my heart against a person.

Keep the good promises of God and act on them. The good promises give health to your body and health to your soul. The more you feed yourself God’s promises in faith believing, the better off you will be.

The Bible tells us in Colossians 3:13, Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. With the same love that Christ forgave you, you’re to forgive others. He has only one kind of love, and it has forgiveness in it. Many people, however, are deceived; they really don’’t carry God’s love; they carry anger toward others instead.

If you have the love of God, you don’t carry anger; anger and love won’t mix. I’ve tried to convince some people to forgive, but they say they can’t forget. Why try to remember something that doesn’t bless you? What does it matter? You just have one mind, one little cup to be filled daily. Why don’t you keep it free from that which doesn’t edify, that which doesn’t bless?

Sickness Comes from the Devil

The Bible tells us in Romans 5:17, For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Life reigns in us through Jesus Christ. Your health is in Jesus. Man doesn’t have enough medicines to keep you well, and so you must depend on Jesus. He said, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). How in the world can you have abundant life when you have an abundance of diseases and afflictions? That’s not abundant life. Abundant life covers health for soul, mind and body. Not just life, it’s life in abundance far above any amount of life that you need. Don’t live beneath that privilege. Wake up and take your place in the Lord. How can you do that? The only way to take your place in the Lord is through the eyes of His love, the eyes of His strength. Through His love, you can have all of this.

Do you believe that sickness comes from God or the devil? If you believe it comes from God, don’t ask me to pray for you because I’m not going to do it. All good and perfect gifts come from the Lord. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no vari ableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17).

Do you believe God gives you sickness to keep you humble? If so, I have news for you; a sick person usually has to pray more to stay humble than someone who is well; it’s easy to get grumpy when you’re sick and suffering.

No sickness or disease can stand before the Word, and you’ve been given this blood power of the Word to use. Behold, I give unto you power [blood power] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). Nothing shall hurt you because of what? The blood power. The blood destroys hate, strife, envy, clamor, contention, lust, all the seventeen works of the flesh. Used in perfection, the blood destroys anything and everything that comes against the Holy Spirit, every sickness and disease.

The Word was made flesh. The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14). Jesus was the Word in a wrapper of clay; and no disease, no affliction could stand before Him when people accepted Him, accepted His divinity. But those who didn’t, He could do nothing with.

Wrong thoughts hinder you more than you know; they’re poison to you. Guard against them. You’re careful about poison ivy and all the other things you’re allergic to, but it’s even more important to be careful to weed out the wrong thoughts. Anyone influencing you with wrong thoughts is bringing you a disease, poisoning you, setting you up for the devil to rob you. Don’t listen to their poison.

If someone starts to gossip, never wait to hear what they’re going to say; stop them right then and there. Tell them you don’t want to hear it. Tell me about Jesus; that’s what I need. Tell me something His great love has recently done.

What Kind of Company Do You Keep?

When the enemy gets into your mind, he causes you to make wrong decisions; you begin to talk wrong, to say wrong things to yourself. You’ll talk like people of the world if you agree with them, start believing like they believe. That’s the reason you must be careful whom you are around, the reason Paul said, Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you (II Corinthians 6:17). Be careful of the company you keep, even with church members.

What kind of people do you keep company with? If they talk the wrong things, delight in gossip, and are always looking for people’s weaknesses—you don’t need that. If you think they’re your friends, they’re not. People who pull you down, tell you things that hurt you, are not your friends.

Your vision must be kept holy by the blood so you can see things in God’s light. The love is in the blood of Jesus, and in the blood is power to keep the eyes. Let the blood of Jesus keep your eyes through blood truth, and then weakness cannot take over. But if you yield to the world and get your eyes away from the blood, then weakness will prevail and you’ll lose that wonderful power of contact you had with God and with Heaven. It will happen so gradually that you won’t even notice. Some of you aren’t aware of the people who pull you down. Check with God often to see if you’re around those kind of people. If you’re not with people who edify and bless, you’d be better off with trees. Trees stand through wind, rain and sunshine; they have life that reminds one of the strength and greatness of God. I can look at a tree and receive a great blessing, but I look at some people and it doesn’t help me a bit.

Stay Alert

Stay alert in the blood and in the blood love. You find God’s love in the blood, the power of His love. If you don’t recognize the blood like you should, then you don’t recognize God’s love. Many of God’s people don’t understand the love of God enough to even keep loving Him all the time, believing Him, never doubting His love toward them.

The Lord told me that we must stay alert to the power in the blood that quickens us. That influence of the power and greatness of the blood in our lives will affect others. The love and strength in the blood are influences to be used. When we fail to use the influence of the blood, then we use other things that weaken us. Sometimes little things hurt our influence, saying things we shouldn’t.

The Lord is seeking to get the Bride ready to get out of here. Be grateful that the Lord is concerned about you, and never be upset with the Lord for trying to help you, trying to bring you out of nonproductive and wrong patterns of thought. The Lord is patient, and patience is the companion of wisdom.

Do You Really Want God?

You have to want the compassion of the Lord, His vision for a lost and dying world at all times. Want His holy living, want God’s love, want His blood, want the greatness of Him. If you don’t, then you’ll want other things. How much do you want the blessings of God? How much do you want the joy of salvation? How much do you want healing? Does it bother you to have any kind of sickness or disease in your body? Are you content, thinking you’re really blessed because you don’t have very much arthritis? Why have any? I don’t see in the Bible that God expects you to have any at all.

Well, I have just a little growth; it’s not big. I can live with that. As long as you feel that way, why should God take the trouble to deliver you? You’d think it was an accident if it fell off anyway. You must want the things of God and become dissatisfied with anything less than what He has promised you. He promised you health, strength, joy and peace in the Holy Ghost; but you must want His love, His power, His favor and His smile. You must want His steps, the Jesus steps. You must want His divine will, His humility; want to be without spot, wrinkle or blemish. If you don’t want to make the great leaps with Him from mountain to mountain, you’re never going to make them. You have to want to come up out of the wilderness and enter this great spiritual land of Canaan, a land of milk and honey. You must want His joy, His peace, want to be content in the Lord, want the vision of Calvary, the vision of lost souls and evangelizing the world.

Strive to gain ground daily, for as long as you are satisfied with what you have, you’re not going to receive more from the Lord. But if you forge ever onward, you can have more. Desire God’s discipline and be yielded to it. Leave your life in His hands, saying, Always let me know, Lord, check me. If I act in any way displeasing to you, I want to know it, Lord. Don’t wait for someone to remind me; let your Holy Spirit remind me. I want to please you, Lord, in everything.

When you please the Lord in everything, then you don’t seek to please people. Enoch pleased God. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God (Hebrews 11:5). The greatest thing that can be said about anyone when they come to the end of the journey is that they pleased God.

As long as you prefer the blessing and favor of those around you above the blessings of God, you’re not going to have the fullness of His blessings. We come up short when we don’t desire the things of God. Above all I want to be blessed every day, every hour by the Lord. I want the blessings of God. God promised that you would be blessed if you walk in His divine will.

God Can Renew Your Strength

Do you want healing? Do you want to be well all over? Do you want strength? Some people give over to diseases, give over to old age. Some of you who are only forty are worrying about getting old. Go ahead and get gray, who cares? The Lord promised to renew your youth. Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalm 103:5). But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).

Guard Your Thoughts

You can think whatever you want, but be careful because you have to live with what you think; be careful with your thoughts. Keep this in mind: People don’t have to give over to ugly thoughts. They don’t need the devil giving them nightmares while they’re wide-awake.

When you let the devil load all kinds of junk into your mind, you’re accepting his nightmare while you’re still awake. Those other kind, nightmares while you’re asleep, might not come from the devil; you’re just having an unpleasant dream. But when you’re walking around with your eyes wide-open in one of the devil’s nightmares, wondering what’s wrong with you, know that your thoughts can be corrected through the blood.

The Devil Can’t Stand the Blood!

You can make the demons scramble, even those inside people, by singing, There’s power, power, wonderworking power in the blood of the Lamb. Any song that has the blood in it will work; the devil can’t stand the blood songs; he can’t stand the blood.

The devil doesn’t want you to use the blood, and when you sing about the blood and really mean it, the blood has power over him. You can run the devil off by singing about the blood if you have faith in the blood. When I sing about the wonderworking power in the blood of the Lamb, I mean it; and without saying a prayer I can run the devil off, put him to flight.

The Lord taught me about the power in the blood when He gave me the gift of discerning of spirits. If the devil possessed would come into my services not wanting deliverance but to disturb the service, God told me to have the congregation sing about the blood. I was amazed the first time I used the blood after God gave me that revelation; it worked. A devil-possessed person had come into the service, a woman with twenty-one devils in her. The Lord numbered them and told me she didn’t want delivered; the devil had sent her there to destroy the service. She tried it, but she didn’t get it destroyed. The Lord told me to sing, “There’s Power in the Blood.” I started singing, and the woman began to move back and around; she couldn’t be still. The more she moved about, the better I felt and the more I sang. Finally she stormed out the door, demons and all. The place came to life through the Spirit of God. You can get rid of the devil.

Some of you will get prayed for, look at yourself and think you’re not healed. There’s help for you today. You can be healed, set free, delivered. If you have another ache or pain and the devil says you didn’t get healed, tell him, Devil you’d be the last one to know anyway. Why would I pay you any mind? It’s under the blood, under the blood. Let the power in the blood be your focus if you want to get rid of the devil.

Rise Up against the Devil through the Blood

When the Lord does something, He does it just right, in perfection. Remember that the Lord said a believer would lay hands on you and He would get you well. These signs shall follow them that believe…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18). He didn’t say it would happen in a moment of time; He said He would get you well.

Many years ago I was at the edge of the grave and almost died. I knew I didn’t have but a few more days to live. Then I had a divine visitation from the Lord and I decided, If I’m not healed, there’s no need to ever think about healing, no need to pray another prayer, no need for me to ever ask God to heal me again. I launched way out into the deep and let the Lord know I was going to tell everyone I was healed, and if I died He’d be embarrassed. That’s reckless faith, but I was in desperation. I got out in water over my head on purpose. I was never going back to the shore: Live, die, sink or swim, this was it. Accepting my miracle couldn’t be just mental; it had to be from my heart.

I had pain, but instead of telling people about the pain, I’d try to find someone to testify to. I could be in perfect ease, testify to someone, and start hurting almost every time. The devil told me if I kept my mouth shut I might get well. What if I had believed him? I had a battle with the devil, but I kept my miracle.

Some of you are having trouble with your mind. I want to tell you a story about my aunt who lived well into her eighties. Some years earlier the devil had tried to take her mind over, just as he tries to take over a lot of elderly minds. She rose up against the devil and let him know he wasn’t going to take her mind. She didn’t care; he wasn’t getting her mind, no sir. She fought that thing and won. She was a joy to talk to, a joy to write to, and she sent me a praise letter every month. No matter how much trouble she had, she would praise God.

One man, blind, was prayed for and told everyone he could see. People who knew him, of course, knew he couldn’t see, but he claimed:

“The Lord healed me.”

“Oh, you got healed, did you?”

“Yes, I got healed.”

“You got healed of blindness?”

“Yes, I got healed.”

He went to the barbershop, sat down, and was going to get a shave.

“I heard a story about you,” the barber said, “I heard you got healed.”

“Yes, I got healed.” About that time he received his sight. He jumped out of the chair and ran down the street screaming as loud as he could, with the barber in pursuit. The man hadn’t lost his mind. He had been holding on to the promise until it was fulfilled. He just needed to tell one more person, “Yes, I got my healing.”

He actually did have his miracle; he had it in his spirit, and when the miracle became evident to everyone, it excited him so that he didn’t take time to remove the barber’s apron, didn’t take time to rinse off the lather, didn’t take time for anything; he just jumped up and ran off. It was a comical sight, that man running down the street screaming and the barber right behind yelling, “Come back! Stop!” God can create a lot of excitement. Many times, I’m sure, He laughs about what He puts over on the devil.

Salvation and Healing Are in the Blood

There’s power in the blood for you to receive your miracle. If you’re saved, the blood has washed away all your sins, all of them, and you’re free. The blood is so powerful that sin can’t even get in. If you’re not saved, say the sinners’ prayer with me today. Oh, God, save my soul! I’m so sorry I sinned against you, but I’ve come home. I’m going to serve you, Lord, the rest of my life. I believe that the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins right now! Come on into my heart, Jesus! Come on in.

If you meant that prayer, He has come. Rejoice, you who have found the Lord today; rejoice, all who know Him!

One drop of the blood of Jesus has all the life of Heaven in it, all the joy, peace that you could ever use for all eternity. It’s through divine blood in Heaven that you will have life, that you will never be sick. Why not use that divine blood and get well now? Healing is in the divine blood.

Think about the blood for a moment. God wants you to think about the blood; with His blood stripes you are healed. He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

You can have any miracle. Any disease, any deformity can be taken care of, anything and everything. That is the reason so many have been healed of AIDS through this Jesus ministry. This is what I believe, what I teach: Anything and everything that I can get people to put under the blood, the blood of Jesus will take care of. There’s all power in the blood, not only creative power but re-creative power, too. Are you ready?

It’s time for you to receive from God. If you have any more pains or aches, don’t think about them, don’t consider them; look at the Word and put it all under the blood today. Decide they are all going under the blood and coming out: This disease is going under the blood, going under the blood, going under the blood.

You who are sick and afflicted, the Bible says, With his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). I’m not a healer, I’m a believer in God’s truth. Healing is in His truth. If you have cancer, heart trouble, if you are crippled—know that God heals every manner of sickness, disease and affliction. Our God is able, but the devil is a cheat, a liar, a thief. Don’t let the devil steal from you. Remember, you have the blood power, the blood of Jesus to trample the devil under when you are saved. In that blood power is deliverance over sickness and disease. Jesus spoke, and sickness was destroyed; it was blood power coming forth in His voice. He spoke and the devils had to obey, had to come out no matter how many had bound the person. Jesus was forever setting the captives free. Jesus came to destroy sickness and disease. The works Jesus did then He is still doing today. All things are possible to those who believe.

I believe God with you for healing. Lord, here they are: the sick, the afflicted, the blind, the crippled, the little deformed babies who will never be normal without your touch. You have given that touch again and again. In the name of Jesus, in the holy name of Jesus, from your gift of miracles, from your gifts of healing it comes through the power of the good Holy Ghost: Heal! Heal! in the name of Jesus, in the all powerful name of our Lord.

The healing power is flowing. Let that power linger in your body—or in the body of one you have prayed for—and bring complete deliverance. Notice all changes daily and write and tell me about them.

God wants you to have a sober mind, a sound mind, a mind untroubled. Troubles come, but with the Lord you can handle them through the knowledge of truth. Learn through the truth what the Lord wills for His people. In doing so, it’s wonderful how simple it is to be delivered. It’s simple to be set free, to be healed when you look at the problem the way the Lord looks at it. Know that through His blood you have not only healing for your soul but for the mind and body. Start using the blood, and take on this mighty anointing that is in the blood of Jesus. Plead the blood; use the precious blood of Jesus and be victorious.
