One Mind, One Accord
by Ernest Angley
August 2003
Jesus told the disciples: Behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high (Luke 24:49). Their feet took wings as they rushed to the Upper Room; they didn’t know how fast that power would be coming, how quickly it would fall. They just knew they had to have power from on High, the Holy Ghost. They were a people who believed, agreed with what Jesus had said. And, being assembled together with them, [Jesus] commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence (Acts 1:4,5).
The Holy Ghost descended from Heaven just like the Lord had promised, descended upon about one hundred twenty in the Upper Room. They were all with one accord in one place (Acts 2:1). Being in one accord is the great revelation of divinity that the Holy Ghost needs to do His perfect work. Those in the Upper Room all agreed that the Spirit was coming. They all agreed that He was the third person in the Trinity of the Godhead, the great promise of Jesus. And they all agreed that they would wait until the Spirit came, no matter how many days it took.
Jesus didn’t tell them how much time would elapse before the power fell; He just said to tarry, stay there until the power came; and they had one mind for that, one mind of love, one mind of truth—the Jesus truth. They were in one mind about all that Jesus had taught them, and that unity was why the Holy Spirit came down on those waiting in the Upper Room.
Out of the thousands whom Jesus had healed, blessed, and who had yielded—even momentarily—just about one hundred twenty were all who really agreed. When people are in one mind and one accord with the Holy Spirit, it’s not a matter of numbers, it’s a matter of unity in the Spirit of the Lord, in the mind of the Spirit, in the mind of divinity. In that unity the Lord can do His perfect work; He can do anything He wants, use people any way He wants.
For many years I have looked for the time when a crowd of people service after service would come into one mind and one accord. I knew it would take this unity in order for the gift of miracles to operate—and the gift of miracles is operating in every service now. It’s startling, almost unbelievable, yet it’s reality; the Lord is anointing people service after service, anointings flowing from the gift of miracles. Supernatural anointings from the ultimate power of Almighty God are falling, and people are opening their soul’s door and receiving.
How Pleasant to Dwell in Unity
In Eden, God started out with man in one mind, one accord. He intended man always to be in agreement with Him, to think alike, talk alike, smile alike, walk alike, and work alike. Man was made in the image of God—and how wonderful it was! God adored man, loved him so much He would come down to fellowship with him in the cool of the day.
But today God is not coming down only in the cool of the day; He’s present all the time in the lives of His people, walking on the inside of you, walking with you. It’s marvelous to behold the way the Lord is moving in this hour!
We live in the greatest hour that has ever been since Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden. Although in the Early Church we have record of about a hundred and twenty receiving the Holy Ghost, in our day we’ve had as high as 64,574 being filled with the Holy Ghost in one service on foreign soil. They were numbered by the angel of the Lord who stands by my side; it’s real, it’s real, it’s real!
Psalm 133:1, Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It’s the unity of the Spirit that we’re dwelling in now. We’re walking in the unity of the Spirit with those who have Him on the inside. Keep the unity of the Holy Spirit; take it with you. As you join with others who are in unity with the Holy Spirit, your spirit blends with theirs.
The Early Church spent much time together in unity, fellowship, agreement. They agreed on everything that Jesus had taught, everything He had brought, and they agreed how and when to serve it. They agreed concerning the love of God, the peace of God, the joy of God. They agreed about the nine fruits and the nine gifts of the Spirit. There wasn’t one here or there saying, I don’t know whether that’s of God or not. I don’t believe it’s to be done this way; I think it should be done that way. No, they had the unity of the Holy Spirit, the mind of the Holy Spirit. God worked through them as He worked with His only begotten Son when He was here on Earth.
One in the Spirit
Jesus prayed for us to be one in the Father and the Son, just like Jesus and the Father were one when He was here on Earth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me (John 17:20,21).
Unity is a state of being one or being united, the quality of being one in spirit. In the unity of the Holy Spirit we are one in purpose, one in agreement. Our individual personalities blend in the purpose of Heaven for man on Earth. We are one in the harmony that God desires man and God to be in, that spirit of agreeing with Heaven, agreeing with the Word, agreeing in the Spirit.
The Noah family was a small family of eight souls, but look what God did through their unity! If the Noah family hadn’t had that unity, the ark never would have been built and they would have perished with the rest. They had to come into the unity of the Spirit of God for one hundred twenty years in order to believe such a fantastic promise of deliverance. God’s promise was a working promise, and they held on to it as they worked day after day after day from sunup to sundown six days a week. The Lord didn’t tell them how long it would be before the flood came, so they kept busy.
Today in the unity of the Spirit we don’t know how long we have before the Rapture, but we know we’re limited on time and we must keep moving to get the harvest in or it will go to ruin. In one spirit, we have one purpose in mind. We’re in harmony with God and His Word, in agreement with all of His promises.
When you agree with God one hundred percent, it’s easy for Him to fulfill many promises. This is the Godhead unity, Heaven’s unity, the unity we’re going to have in Heaven. Everyone in Heaven will agree with God, think like God, act like God, talk like God, and speak one language—the love language. Isn’t that wonderful!
When Jesus Comes Again
Since Adam and Eve left the Garden, God has rarely been able to bring people together in unity. We have no record of that happening until the Noah family. But in a sin-cursed world, the Noah family was brought into unity with the mind of God.
Jesus compared the time of His second coming to the time of Noah. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be (Matthew 24:37-39).
When Jesus comes again, a limited number of people will be in one hundred percent agreement with all that God has said, all that Jesus taught, and all the works of the Holy Spirit. Those few will walk in the footsteps of Jesus one hundred percent, not only doing the works that Jesus did, but doing works on a greater scale—more of them; the Lord Jesus said it would be that way. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:12,13).
In our spirit we take on the harmony of the Holy Scriptures; the Holy Spirit bears witness that we have the truth and we’re free. Jesus said, Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). If the truth sets you free, you’re free indeed. The truth can set you free from the sin and sickness that come from the devil. It’s only from the Lord that all good and perfect gifts come—no sickness is perfect. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17).
This World Is Not Our Home
How wonderful to know that we can agree with the Lord to heal us today, agree that with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We believe in miracles because we’re in unity with the Holy Spirit, united with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. United with Heaven, we’ve already taken out citizenship papers there. Our passport has the seal of the blood of Jesus on it, and what a seal that is! The Bible declares that we are pilgrims and strangers here; this old world is not our final home. Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul (I Peter 2:11).
We’re promised a home of many mansions. Jesus said, In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also (John 14:2,3).
We’re promised a land with no tears, no heartaches, no sorrow. God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away (Revelation 21:4).
It took God forty years to make a Moses, and then He had great difficulty in getting the Israelites to harmonize, agree, come into one mind and one accord and accept the purpose for which Moses had been sent to them. At times they would believe, but even with all the miracles that God had sent, they often didn’t believe. God rained down all kinds of miracles to defeat their enemies, but the Children of Israel wouldn’t stay in agreement.
Perfect Love Casts Out Fear
Finally, with the great help of Almighty God and the power from the gift of miracles, the ultimate power of God rained down and Moses got the Israelites to the bank of the Red Sea. But it looked as though he couldn’t get them beyond. They were not in one mind with the Spirit, and fear took them over.
When you’re in harmony with the Holy Spirit, fear isn’t a dominating enemy; you have power over it. You agree with God that His perfect love casts out all fear. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love (I John 4:18). With that perfect love on the inside, throw up the shield of faith when fear comes and go on your way shielded by the faith of God protecting you from fear.
The Holy Spirit flows the love of God daily from the soul into the mind to purge the mind so it can harmonize with the greatness of God and be filled with praises for Him at all times. Just as the angels rejoice, the mind is rejoicing, harmonizing with what God has said. Through Jesus Christ you are offered the same kind of mind that the angels have, a mind to agree, to accept, to harmonize with God at all times, a mind determined you will walk in the oneness of His Holy Spirit and His holy promises.
Finally, when Moses was able to bring the Israelites into one mind, one accord, the miracle took place, the waters separated. Unfortunately, the Israelites didn’t stay in one mind, but the Bride is going to stay in divine unity. By the holy power of God the waters will separate for her again and again as she goes across to the nations, searching everywhere for souls to be won.
People have lost their way in the wilderness, going around in circles. But the Bride with her love is leaning on the Lord. Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved (Song of Solomon 8:5)? She’s coming up out of the wilderness bringing many with her because the Lord is with her in one mind, one accord.
Don’t let the devil tell you that your mind cannot be brought into this unity, into one mind and one accord with God. The devil will lie to you, deceive you if you let him. He’ll make you think you’re an exception. Even when you believe for others, the devil will tell you that such a oneness with the Lord can’t happen to you. It happens to everyone who will yield to the Holy Spirit.
They Saw Jesus Ascend
Everyone who wanted the promised power from on High made the agreement with Jesus to go to the Upper Room and receive the Holy Ghost. But not everyone wanted Him. Five hundred saw Jesus at one time after He was resurrected, but not all went beyond; not all saw Him ascend back to Heaven. I’m sure a lot of those people, after they got in on His salvation, His great promise of receiving the Spirit and being baptized in the good Holy Ghost, regretted that they hadn’t been there when He ascended.
It must have been an incredible experience to see Jesus rise into the clouds. How exciting to see His feet leave the ground and watch Him go up, up, up! While they beheld, he [Jesus] was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven (Acts 1:9-11).
Receive the Holy Ghost: A Commandment of Jesus
Why would people say you don’t need the Holy Ghost, that you don’t have to have Him before you can make the Rapture? Receiving the Holy Ghost is a commandment of Jesus. Remember He commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence (Acts 1:4,5). Where did you ever read in the Bible that to make the Rapture you don’t have to have the Holy Ghost? You will be changed according to the power that worketh within you. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us (Ephesians 3:20). The Bible says that God will give the Holy Ghost to them that obey Him. We are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him (Acts 5:32). Only the obedient will be taken in the Rapture and escape the Tribulation Period.
The Israelites wandered forty years in the wilderness because they would not harmonize, would not stay in the unity of the Spirit of the Lord, would not stay in accord with the mind of God. God longed for them to be in that accord. Carefully He had looked out for them, fed them, clothed them. He didn’t let their shoes or their clothes wear out for those forty years. Love, love, love—He tried to love the Israelites into willing obedience, but it was going to take a Calvary.
It takes a Calvary in people’s lives to love in such oneness, such unity with the Lord. It took a Calvary and an Upper Room for the Bride to come in to what she is in now—one mind, one accord with God, with Jesus, with the Holy Ghost, and with the angels who minister, helping to bring in the lost.
The Bible tells us that the angels will minister to those who are heirs of salvation, and we’re definitely heirs of salvation. Are they [angels] not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14)? We have the salvation and we agree with that promise of angel help; we believe it and it works. Thank God it works!
Gideon’s Three Hundred
Gideon and his three hundred were in one mind, one accord to do God’s work. Out of thirty-two thousand people, the Lord picked three hundred who would harmonize with Him. In the Christian world today, if the Lord picked out those who would harmonize with Him, they would be like Gideon’s army, about three hundred out of thousands. Moreover, I don’t know if God could find three hundred out of every thirty-two thousand who call themselves Christian today. How many really harmonize with the Lord, with all that He has spoken concerning salvation, the baptism of the Holy Ghost, the nine gifts and the nine fruits of the Spirit, and living holy, free from all sin?
Three hundred out of thirty-two thousand were handpicked, not by Gideon, but by God. Gideon didn’t have the heart or the mind of God to pick them; but, thank God, he did have the mind of God to keep listening until his mind could act out what God had said. If you keep listening to God, not to doubters and those seeking to rob you, trying to get you out of the will of God, you will eventually find His whole will. The mind of the Holy Spirit will be able to reveal to you in all living reality what the Lord wants of you daily, what God has planned for you, the promises of God, and how you can have each promise that you need fulfilled in your life.
Did Gideon’s army get the job done? Yes. Have you ever weighed carefully why? Even if you have weighed it many times, weigh it again today. Gideon’s three hundred won a mighty victory because they were in unity with the Holy Spirit. They had come into the unity, the fellowship of the Spirit, into a state of being one with God as Adam and Eve once had been one with God. There was no dividing line, no separating line between them and God. They were one in thought, mind, speech, holiness, righteousness and purpose. Determined to do whatever God wanted, they harmonized with everything they were told.
Gideon’s three hundred, one in God’s Spirit, one in God’s purpose, knew what they were there for and what they were to do. In other words, they bowed to the Spirit.
You must bow to the Spirit in everything to stay in harmony with the Spirit. The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of truth, and if you can’t bow to the Spirit of truth all the time, you can’t harmonize all the time. But as long as you bow to the Spirit of truth, you have no trouble harmonizing with the Holy Spirit in the promises of God for your salvation, healing or anything else you may need. The Bible is the promise Book: You’re promised, you’re promised, you’re promised.
When you look back into Old Testament days, you see the difficulty God had in bringing just a few people into the unity of the Spirit. But God also has difficulty in bringing people into the unity of the Spirit in the Church Age. Two thousand years old, the Church Age has seen but brief periods in which God has had a people who harmonized with Him for any length of time.
They Harmonized—At First
For the first thirty-three years the Early Church harmonized; they were one with God, one with Jesus, and one with the Holy Ghost—one in spirit, purpose, agreement—and no power could stand before them. Since that time, however, only a few has God been able to bring into the unity of the Spirit; but those few have held the church together, those few who have harmonized with all the Word of God, with holy living, with righteousness, and the purpose of God. Agreeing with Him in everything, those few did not back down but put Him first, accepting thus saith the Lord.
The Old Testament prophets were special people. At times hardly anyone was left in that wonderful unity of the Spirit except those prophets of God. The prophets spoke and used thus saith the Lord; and the Bride, in harmony, oneness, agreement, and purpose, will cry daily, thus saith the Lord!
Many of you have come into this, saith the Lord. It’s thus saith the Lord that you look to. The Bible is your authority, not what people tell you, not the critics, the faultfinders; you’re listening to what the Spirit is saying. Taking on the mind of Christ, you’re going to stay in the place that God wants you. All the demons of hell, and all the people who aren’t in harmony with God will never be able to get you out of your place. You’ve taken that place through the Holy Ghost, through the Holy Spirit. Like the apostle Paul, you’re saying, I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day (II Timothy 1:12). You know Him in the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings (Philippians 3:10). Know Jesus; learn Him through the works of the great teacher, the Holy Ghost Himself.
Ponder the times God has had a few people in perfect unity, in oneness with Him, the times God has poured out His ultimate power.
The Walls Fell Down
Again in Joshua’s day victory came in a great, wonderful way—but consider what it took to get the people in one mind, in one accord. God had them march around the walls of Jericho until their tongues about fell out, until they were willing to do anything not to have to march another time. And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour. And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him. And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout (Joshua 6:2-5,10).
Six days they marched one time around the walls, but that didn’t take them down. Then on the seventh day they marched seven times; the Lord kept them going through Joshua; Joshua agreed with God. When they marched around the first time that seventh day, a few were in the unity of the Spirit. The second and third time more joined in. By the sixth time they must have thought God was going to walk them to death, that their dead carcasses would be found there if they didn’t get down to business and agree. I couldn’t believe at first those walls would come tumbling down, but I’m going to accept it because God said it. About all my strength is gone; if I live, I’m going to have to lean on the Lord. Here I go, live or die, sink or swim, I’m going to believe, God, that when we shout, those walls are going to come tumbling down. Losing sight of what they didn’t have, they took on vision of what they had—the Lord, His great promise. When the priests blew the trumpets, the people shouted with all their might. And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city. So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city (Joshua 6:16,20). When Joshua said, Shout! it sounded like the voices of many waters roaring in unity, in oneness with God, in one mind, one purpose, one agreement; and the walls came tumbling down through God’s power that was poured out.
People who don’t accept the New Testament are also missing much of the greatness from Heaven found throughout the Old Testament. God put stories of His great power in the Old Testament for us; the Old Testament is our schoolmaster. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith (Galatians 3:24). You can’t understand the New Testament or come into the greatness of God without understanding the Old Testament. When you study the Old Testament, you see that man had it all, lost it all; and then you see how God sought to bring man and woman back into all. At times they came, but they wouldn’t stay. Joshua’s crowd didn’t stay in one mind even after seeing those walls brought down by the power of God. Soon many were disobeying God.
Geared to Take Jesus to the Nations
The Bride, a people staying in one mind, one accord, will keep in unity with the Holy Spirit. Neither devil nor man will be able to get them out of their place. No power is going to defeat her; she will not allow it.
The bridal company is being geared to take Jesus to all nations. We’ve already reached into many nations, but God is preparing you who are members of the bridal company to help take this Gospel to the whole world, and nothing will turn you back. Nothing will get your attention to pull you out of the harmony of the Holy Scriptures, out of the whole will of God for you. The Bride will harmonize with all that God has said, all that God has promised, and she will stay in agreement with the Lord. The scales have fallen from her eyes and she sees a plain path; she sees what God has for her as the power of God churns up and down on the inside. The mighty anointings flowing from the gift of miracles are pouring into her soul, and she has learned to open her heart’s door to receive great miracles, to get ready for all God’s greatness on tomorrow.
No Strife between You and God
Ephesians 4:3, Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Endeavor, put forth that effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in peace, love, joy, longsuffering, goodness, mercy, forgiveness, self-control—in everything. Strive to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of all God’s greatness. Keeping the peace of God means there’s no strife between you and God.
When you keep the peace of God in your soul, you keep the harmony of the Scriptures flowing within. In your mind, you keep the harmony of the Lord, His will, His purpose for your life; and you carry that harmony with you through the unity of the Spirit. In that way the Holy Spirit is able to teach you, guide you, show you daily what the Lord wants of you. He’s able to anoint you so you can talk to God just like God wants you to talk to Him. Giving you the understanding of God that He wants you to have, the Holy Spirit lets you know how to use the things of God that He has given to you.
The Bride is not only receiving the greatness of God, she’s receiving His knowledge and wisdom that unity with Him brings. Knowledge and wisdom are gifts of the Holy Spirit, all the knowledge and wisdom that each member of the bridal company needs. Sitting at the feet of Jesus, taking wisdom and knowledge from Him for each problem, you won’t make the mistakes of yesterday, won’t go down into unnecessary valleys. From God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost, come wisdom and knowledge.
Most of the valleys that God’s people have gone into in the past have been valleys they made themselves. But now you only go into the valleys the Lord has a purpose for you to go into, and many valleys God will take you over as He leaps with you from mountain to mountain. The way of the Spirit is wonderful indeed!
The Fullness of Christ
Ephesians 4:13, Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ. Every member of the bridal company will come into the unity of the faith, into the knowledge of the Son of God—that great knowledge Jesus displayed when He was here. We come into the reality of Jesus, the reality of His wonderful work to deliver us through His blood. When He cried on the Cross, It is finished, His work of bringing salvation to the world was done. It was the finished work of the Son of God that made possible perfect men, perfect women.
Before Jesus came, man didn’t have a Calvary; he was not a partaker of the divine blood. The divine blood of Heaven had not yet been poured out. After Calvary, however, everyone can be a partaker of that divine blood, be made a new creature, a new creation. Jesus came with the Gospel saying, Ye must be born again (John 3:7). He brought in the great era of the Church, that great dispensation—Jubilee—everyone goes free.
God calls a man perfect who is in one mind with Him, a man who has the same purpose, the same harmony, the same agreement with Him all the time. As a perfect man or woman, you come into the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; you stand just as tall as Jesus stood. You have the same mind, the same knowledge and wisdom, the same ultimate power of God, saith the Lord. It’s all yours. Jesus brought this fullness to His children.
The Bible tells us that we can come boldly before the throne of God and ask what we will. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). This liberty is through the Babe of Bethlehem, the Son of God, the Only Begotten of God. He came in perfect harmony with God; as very man He is the second Adam.
Jesus, in harmony, in oneness with God will never break that unity. He taught mankind what unity He had with God and how to use it. Then after going back to Heaven, He sent the Holy Ghost to keep teaching that oneness to man. We are told that we can come into a perfect relationship with God, that we can be just like Jesus. Paul, once the chief of sinners, became like Jesus through the power in the blood.
No Slaves
Jesus said in Luke 4:18,19, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Everyone is free if they want to be free; there are no slaves. No one has to be a captive of the devil. Jesus said He came to set all the captives free from the powers of the devil.
The devil can’t make a child of God do anything unless he or she wants to do it. This is the revelation of Jesus Christ, of His love, His greatness, His wonderful works for you and in you, works you can perform, also. This is the “go ye” of Jesus Christ going forth in harmony, in unity with the Father. The same Father that sent His Son to the world is sending sons and daughters to the world in this final hour—members of the bridal company—to bring in the lost.
What a wonderful hour we are in! Many are coming into the reality of it now. As the great anointings from the gift of miracles flow into your soul, you are changing, coming into love in perfection.
Till we all come into the unity of the faith (Ephesians 4:13). All members of the bridal company will come into the unity of the faith, into the knowledge, wisdom, and the love-greatness of the Lord. Jesus made such unity possible, and with His stripes we have physical healing. But how many people in the world really agree with that?
Agree with God’s Promises
How many people agree that we have redemption from all sin and power over the devil to trample devils underfoot? Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).
How many agree that we can live holy day after day, that we don’t have to have another unholy day in our life the rest of the journey? It is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy (I Peter 1:16). We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not (I John 5:18).
The Bride without spot, wrinkle, blemish or any such thing, will be used by the hand of God for His purpose. In harmony with the promises of God, she will take to a lost world salvation for all. We agree that this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come (Matthew 24:14).
How many church members today throughout the world really agree that miracles and healings are vital to the body of Christ, that they are a must? The Church will never get the job done of evangelizing the world without the Holy Ghost; and they’ll never have the Holy Ghost in their midst and be in unity with the Spirit without miracles and healings. Jesus said that healing is the children’s bread. Not just crumbs, but the whole loaf is ours: healing for soul, mind and body. How wonderful it is!
In one mind and one accord—imagine how pleased God was when at last He looked down upon those in the Upper Room. That little group didn’t seem like much to man, but they meant much to God. For the first time He had about one hundred twenty people ready to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost from Heaven. The Holy Ghost descended and filled those tabernacles of clay, a marvelous experience that led to thousands being swept into the Kingdom, brought in through this greatness. The ultimate power was poured out. The nine gifts of the Spirit, all the fruits of the Spirit suddenly began to leap into production in the lives of those devout Christians. They all were in the same determination, the same courage, the same patience, and the same spirit of agreement. They harmonized, made perfect music for Heaven.
Two Discords
Then came two discords: Ananias and Sapphira. But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him. And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband. And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things (Acts 5:1-11).
When Ananias and Sapphira lied to the Holy Ghost, the Lord killed them on the spot. They brought in seeds of deceit, and had they sown them, it would have ruined the Church. So God killed them, and the rest of the Church grew in the unity and harmony of the Spirit for the first thirty-three years. We have no record of any others going back into deceit, lying to the Holy Ghost in those years. God’s judgment is indeed something to respect.
Take On the Mind of Christ
It’s wonderful what the Lord can do when man will yield to Him and take on the mind of Christ. Paul, writing to the Philippians, said, Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5). Paul never told people to do the impossible. Everything he wrote is the truth; everything he offered is attainable through the power of the Holy Ghost.
What does the Lord say about the Bride? Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee (Song of Solomon 4:7). Composed of a people without spot, wrinkle or blemish, the Bride harmonizes with the Lord. She is a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:27). We are to be a people who harmonize, who make perfect spiritual music in a world of sin, people with the anointing to draw the honest-hearted to the Cross of Calvary. In the spirit of unity, the Lord will be able to do the unbelievable, sweep millions into the Kingdom in this last and final hour.
God can accomplish much through the Bride of Christ and her strong determination, her unity with the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of God the Father and God the Son. He can do everything man will let Him do. I mean by that, every sinner can come to Jesus who wants to come to the Lord. Everyone can be brought out of darkness who wants to come out of darkness.
When Jesus was here on Earth, the power was so strong all could have come to Him. The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up (Matthew 4:16). Although those who sat in darkness saw great light, they didn’t all follow the light. Light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil (John 3:19). But when godly sorrow is in your heart, you come out of darkness into the light. You may be covered with sins, but know they will be washed away because you see the life of the blood before you, penetrating the night of sin within. You see the light of deliverance, peace, change, strength, and God’s eternal will for you—the light of eternal life. How wonderful and how great!
This is our hour of visitation, and the Lord is moving. There will be many miracles through this message that the Lord has given His servant to give to you. Many hearts and minds are wide open; they’re not rejecting what the Lord is saying. In agreement with God, with His promises, with the Word of God, they are in the unity of the Holy Spirit. How wonderful to know that so many are in one mind, one accord!
Salvation and Healing
Sinner, Backslider, lukewarm Christian with a spirit of indifference: You can join us. It will be easy for you to come into the unity of the Spirit because the love of God, the love of Calvary, the love of Heaven is flowing to you, drawing you like a mighty magnet. If you yield your will to the will of God, deliverance will be yours; you will be free, free, free. And if you continue to walk in this freedom and unity, Heaven one day will be yours.
Sinner, this is your hour of deliverance. Don’t die lost; don’t go to hell. Hell is an awful place, and the Holy Spirit is crying out to you now, Come to Jesus! Come to the Cross and be set free! Whosoever will, let him come!
Lift your hand and pray this prayer with me: Oh, God! save my soul. I want the mind of Jesus. I want the holy life of Jesus. I want the saving grace of Jesus. I want the blood of Jesus to wash away all of my sins. I know there is power in the blood, and I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in, Jesus.
If you meant this prayer, He has come; and now you can say, Hallelujah, He is mine!
You who are sick and afflicted, crippled, paralyzed—or maybe you have a deaf child, an afflicted child who will never be normal, know that the Lord has brought many children to normal. Many born with only part of a brain have been given a whole brain by the power of God, and they’re intelligent today—ones who were to never have been intelligent. It was done through the greatness of God. Many more miracles will take place now since the gift of miracles is working in such an unbelievable way. These gifts of the Spirit are in my life. The Holy Spirit operates them, and when the miracles take place, the Lord gets all the honor, the praise, and the glory. The miracles belong to the Lord.
Lord, here they are: those with cancer, HIV, AIDS, heart trouble, back trouble, crippled. Some, their minds are gone, and some are little ones who have never been normal. I bring them all to you, Jesus. I bring them into your divine healing blood, and with your blood stripes they have healing. Heal! in the name of Jesus. Heal! in the holy name of the Lord. Heal! I pray.
God is moving today, pouring out His Spirit on all flesh. In one mind, one accord with the Holy Spirit, let Him move for you today. Let Him have His divine way in your life the rest of life’s journey.
