The Bible makes it very clear that anything you do in secret is no secret with God. He sees everything you do; and He will reward you accordingly, whether it be a good reward or a bad reward. Nothing remains hidden from God; He has the power to bring all things to light and judge them accordingly. For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither anything hid, that shall not be known and come abroad (Luke 8:17). For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil (Ecclesiastes 12:14).

Many people try to keep secrets from others, and they think no one will find out; but God sees everything you do and every meditation of your heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do (Hebrews 4:13).

God knows all about the evil things people are doing in the darkness. He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him (Daniel 2:22).

God Hears Righteous Prayers

God hears every fervent prayer you pray in secret, and He will answer those prayers. Jesus said, But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly (Matthew 6:6). That does not mean you always have to shut yourself away; you just have to get your mind completely on the Lord and let nothing disturb you. The Bible says, The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man [or woman] availeth much (James 5:16).

When you pray to be heard of men rather than God, He sees your hypocrisy and will not answer your prayer. Jesus said, When thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward (Matthew 6:5). The only answer to prayer that a hypocrite will receive is that others will see or know about their prayer, and what a sad, empty reward that is.

God Heard Cornelius

God took notice of the prayers of Cornelius. He had never been taught the full Gospel, but he feared God and had an honest heart. There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway (Acts 10:1,2).

Cornelius was a Roman centurion, and it was not lawful for the disciples who were Jews to go into the homes of such men; but God knew Cornelius wanted truth. So as Cornelius prayed and fasted in the privacy of his own home, God sent an angel to tell him what to do. And he [the angel] said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter: He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do (Acts 10:4-6).

Cornelius obeyed the Lord and sent men to Peter, and they brought him back with them. Peter taught them about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Then while Peter yet spake…the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God (Acts 10:44-46). God rewarded Cornelius’ secret prayers and fasting by bringing the fullness of Christ to his house.

If you really want the truth, God will see that you get it; but if you do not fear God and harbor sin in your heart, God knows about it and will not hear your prayers. The Bible says, Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear (Isaiah 59:1,2).

Fast God’s Way

Others may not know every time you skip a meal, but God sees every meal you fast for Him. But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly (Matthew 6:17,18). Fasting afflicts your soul and humbles you so you can receive what you need from the Lord.

God will reward a true, Bible fast. Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward. Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am (Isaiah 58:6,8,9).

When people fast merely to appear unto men to fast, God sees that their heart is wrong; so He cannot bless them with His glory or break their yokes because that is not what they are after.

God Blesses Sincere Givers

When the widow woman gave two mites to the Lord, she gave everything she had; but she didn’t tell people about it. Only Jesus knew that she gave her all, which was about three cents. And he [Jesus] said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had (Luke 21:3,4). Jesus sees what you give, how you give it and why you give it; and He will bless you accordingly.

The Pharisees and Sadducees did everything to be seen of others. They were hypocrites and liars, and the Lord hated them. Jesus said, But all their works they do for to be seen of men (Matthew 23:5). Then Jesus went on to tell them what He thought of them. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess (Matthew 23:23,25).

God knows how to bless His true children for what they do for Him. Jesus said, Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again (Luke 6:38).

People will take notice when God blesses those who live for Him and freely give to Him. Prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10).

God Exposes Sin

King David secretly committed adultery with Bathsheba, and she became pregnant. Then he went to great lengths to keep his sin hidden and even killed an innocent man, but God saw that sin. Then He sent the prophet Nathan to expose David’s secret and proclaim judgment saying, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun. For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun [before the sun goes down] (II Samuel 12:11,12).

Nathan went on to say, Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die (II Samuel 12:14).

David paid a great price for his sin, and you will pay for yours, too. No person on Earth will be able to plead your case before God. He is the righteous Judge, and He will try you and reward you accordingly. The Bible says, He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy (Proverbs 28:13). This is no time to fail God.

God Hears Every Lie

The Bible says, For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes (Jeremiah 16:17). Ananias and his wife, Sapphira, had a sinful secret, but it was no secret with God. They sold a piece of land and then lied about it to Peter and to the Holy Ghost. Ananias was the first one to tell the lie; and Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?…why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things (Acts 5:3-5).

Sapphira did not know about her husband’s death; so about three hours later, she told Peter the same lie. Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost (Acts 5:9,10).

God Sees Every Disobedience

When the Lord gave Jericho into the hands of the Children of Israel, Joshua told the people not to take anything out of the city because it was cursed. If anyone did take something, it would cause all the people to be cursed. And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it (Joshua 6:18).

Nevertheless, a man named Achan took of the spoil, and he thought no one would know about it; but God knew. That one disobedience greatly hindered God and caused many Israelites to lose their lives in battle. If Achan had not sinned and brought a curse upon the people, the Israelites would have won.

Afterward, the Lord directed Joshua to confront Achan about what he had done. And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done (Joshua 7:20).

Achan went on to tell Joshua all he had taken. Then Joshua and all the Children of Israel took Achan, the things he had stolen, his entire family and all of his livestock and possessions to the valley of Achor. And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones (Joshua 7:25).

The Bible clearly says, The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:20). But when you do the works of God, you will reap the benefits. God honors those who do secret works that are a labor of love toward His name. Then shall the King [God] say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me (Matthew 25:34-36).

Jesus was talking to those who were righteous; and they asked Him, “When did we do all those things?” And Jesus answered, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me (Matthew 25:40). When you bless your brothers and sisters in the Lord, it is the same as blessing God.

Make Jesus Your Savior

If you are unsaved today, God knows about it. Jesus went to Calvary and died for you, so won’t you give your life to Him? His nail-riven hands are reaching out for you, so say this prayer right now: Oh, God, I am so sorry that I have sinned against you, but I have come home; and I am going to serve you for the rest of my life. You said if I would ask, you would forgive me for all of my sins. So I ask you now to please forgive me. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in, Jesus! If you meant that prayer, He has come; and He is yours.

Now, you must go on to receive the wonderful baptism of the Holy Ghost. Jesus is coming for those who are watching for Him to come, but you cannot really be watching without the Holy Ghost. Jesus said, Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching (Luke 12:37). He also said through John the Revelator, If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee (Revelation 3:3).

If you don’t have the Holy Ghost, you must be seeking to receive Him. The Lord has told me three different times that those who make the Rapture will have to have the Holy Ghost. He is the only one who will change you from the inside out and give you your glorified body. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (I Corinthians 15:52).

Now, just praise the Lord with your whole heart and let the Holy Ghost come in. Then He will speak through you, and He will be the one giving the utterance. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4).

Use Your Faith for a Miracle

It doesn’t matter what your affliction might be, and it doesn’t matter that the doctors have said there is no hope. You can be healed of anything right now. I am not the healer; I am just a believer, and the Bible says, They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:18).

Lord, I bring the people to you—those with cancer, TB, AIDS, diabetes, heart trouble and any deadly disease. Heal! in the holy name of Jesus. Heal! The power of God is pouring forth to you now.
