Move on in to the spiritual senses. Second Corinthians 5:7, For we walk by faith, not by sight. Walk by faith, the faith sense, not by the physical sense of sight. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17). Since the Bible declares that we should live by faith, walk by faith and do God’s work through faith, we ought to recognize God’s faith and know how it works to ensure we have plenty of it.

I want to include a prophecy the Lord gave in 1990. In one way or another, God has foretold what has happened or is happening. Have faith in His prophecies; they are true; God has spoken them through the Holy Spirit. His prophecies come to pass. God said if they didn’t come to pass, He didn’t speak them.

Thus saith the Lord: I have anointed you. I have given you great anointings, but I have greater anointings for you. From the time this church was started, we have had anointings. Now we have come into His ultimate anointings. I will breathe upon you again and again because I want you to do much for my kingdom in this final hour. I have the plans, all the plans for you, and I want you to fulfill each one of them. You can fulfill all that I have planned for you if you receive my anointings. My anointings come with great power, great help, great strength, great knowledge, great wisdom. We are finding that to be true. These ultimate anointings are changing lives. I am the Lord thy God, and I have willed your work for this hour. I seek to make you just like my Son Jesus. I want to use holy hands, and I can only use holy hands to do my work in this final hour. Your hands will work with the same love as His worked, with the same peace, with the same longsuffering, with the same self-control, with the same sacrificial spirit. For over two years of Sundays in “The Love Language” series, the Lord has been dealing with us about love. In 1990 He said that our hands will work with the same love as Jesus’ hands worked. No wonder we will get so much done! The Lord is preparing us for more and more work in the harvest fields. And I will be with you, and no power will defeat you. I the Lord thy God will raise my right hand against your enemies, and I will rain down my mighty greatness for you. You will behold the hand of the Lord, and you will sanctify the Lord thy God in your heart. You will reach then for more and more of my greatness, and you will serve it to the people. Your spirit that I have given to you, your anointings that I have given to you are now affecting people throughout the whole earth. God has given us these things, you didn’t merit them; He gave them. Greater and greater will be your anointings that I gave you—and will give you—to be used. My power will go forth, and the multitudes will come into the Kingdom, so many of them that the human mind could never number them. I am the Lord thy God clothing you in my great armor. I am the Lord thy God that walketh with thee. I am the Lord thy God that loveth thee, and I am the Lord thy God that giveth thee power to overcome just as my Son Jesus was an overcomer, saith the Lord. This wonderful prophecy came directly from the Lord to His people. Now we have arrived into this greatness, and it’s ever onward into more of His power and grace, into His divine spiritual senses.

A Harmony of the Senses

The physical senses and the spiritual senses are sight, touch, taste, smell, hearing; but the spiritual senses have an added sense, the sixth sense of faith. The physical senses and the spiritual senses must work in harmony if we are to do God’s complete will, with the physical senses being under subjection to the spiritual senses.

The spiritual senses are divine, and through the blood of Jesus we have been made partakers of His divinity. The spiritual senses can only come from God; they are holy, sacred, supremely great and lift you into a different world. In order to live in this different world of the spiritual senses, you have to yield all that God wills. You must go beyond the average Christian. Someone said it was like learning a different language. That’s true; you learn the love language, a new language for this brand-new life.

A New and Living Way

Jesus brought the new and living way. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh (Hebrews 10:19,20). Jesus said, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). In the beginning of the Church, the members had this new life with the spiritual senses in action. That’s the reason the first thirty-three years of the Church Age was all-powerful, all-great, directed by very God. The Early Church yielded until their hands served like the hands of Jesus served. Their minds were like His; their love was His love. They took on His peace, His longsuffering. In 1990 the Lord prophesied that these qualities would be yours, too. Now He is bringing you on in to be like Jesus and the dedicated saints who worked in the beginning of the Church. Live in the Acts of the Apostles, the new world of the Gospel of power and greatness.

For almost two thousand years, the Church of Jesus Christ has either not known these spiritual senses or else not used them to their fullest. The Church has been very weak. Had the Church remained on fire for God the way it was in the very beginning, had it kept the six spiritual senses, it would be a wonder today in its power and greatness. Multitudes of souls would be in Heaven that are now in hell. The world would be in a different condition today hjust wad the Church remained faithful, but the Church failed. Many gave over to the enemy. Different religions with no God in them are everywhere, religions that deny the Son of God and the virgin birth—some of the results of people giving over to the devil.

The will of God lives in the six senses: you can speak His will. You can speak His love, His grace. You can speak His paths of righteousness and show others the way. You can speak the light of the Gospel, the power of God and the Word of God, and see that power go into action. You can speak and command devils to be cast out just as they did in the Early Church. The apostles commanded the thing to be done and it was. They commanded the sick to be healed just like Jesus had, and the sick were made well. It was wonderful indeed!

The Spiritual Sense of Sight

Stephen being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God (Acts 7:55). Stephen had spiritual sight to see Heaven just before he was cast out of the city and stoned to death. His vision went beyond physical sight when he saw Jesus standing at the right hand of the Father.

With spiritual sight you see God’s will in the Holy Bible, and through the power of God and the holy anointings in your life, you lift out God’s will and serve it to yourself like never before. With God’s holy anointings you have more dedication, more understanding; you see the great separation of the things of the Lord from the things of the world. You see His love, His hope, His peace. You see His greatness, and you know it belongs to you. Through the spiritual senses, it’s easy for you to claim the whole Word of God as your possession; it’s yours.

A Spiritual Touch

To have that special spiritual sense of touch, to be able to touch the Lord and feel Him touch you is wonderful, but you will not touch the Lord with your physical senses in any great way. Because God’s people have reached out to God through their physical senses, He hasn’t been living reality to them the way He has wanted to be.

Just as Jesus said to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing (John 20:27), Jesus is saying to you: Touch me. He wants everyone through the spiritual sense to know the reality of Him, to be able to touch Him as He is touched by us. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:15,16).

We touch the Lord in prayer with the spiritual sense of touch. People who pray endlessly without touching the Lord are using the physical senses, not the spiritual senses. When you don’t use the spiritual sense of faith, you don’t use the spiritual sense of touch.

Many are handicapped in prayer because they fail to use the spiritual sense of touch, and answer to prayer isn’t real to them. Never go into the prayer closet if you aren’t going to use the spiritual sense of touch; for by not using the spiritual touch you use the physical senses, and the devil takes advantage of you.

The devil works through the physical touch. The spiritual sense of touch he doesn’t have. The spiritual sense of touch is the divine touch, and the devil is no match for divinity—the Lord proved that when He cast Lucifer out of Heaven. He proves it by these words of John the Revelator: And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him (Revelation 20:1-3). For one thousand years before his total destruction in the lake of fire, Satan will be imprisoned in the pit.

A woman used that wonderful spiritual faith sense of touch and was healed by touching the garment of Jesus. Many others were around Jesus, bumping into Him, touching Him, but by not using the spiritual sense of touch, they were not healed. And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes (Mark 5:30)? Jesus knew what that touch meant because He felt healing virtue flowing from Him.

Jesus said, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them (Mark 11:24). People have wondered how this could be true. The Lord told us how: If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you (John 15:7). If you are in this brand-new world, this new and living way, all God’s promises are yours. If you abide in Jesus and His words abide in you, you can ask what you will because with these six senses, no power can defeat you, no power overcome you.

You have the option of going into the human or into divinity. When you don’t use the spiritual sense of faith, the devil can talk to you, give you many of his reasons why you can’t touch God in prayer. Go into the six spiritual senses; lay your need out before God—not begging, but asking. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you (Matthew 7:7). Seek Him with all of you, soul, mind and body. The only way to seek with the whole you is to use the six spiritual senses. You are a terror to the devil when you use the spiritual senses.

To be able to touch the Lord is wonderful! Jesus had that marvelous spiritual touch that touched the eyes of the blind and gave them sight. The Lord told the disciples that His believers would have that touch. He said, They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:18). How many in the Christian world actually believe that promise, believe it without a doubt? God cannot work with doubt. Jesus was prevented from doing many of His mighty miracles in Nazareth because of their doubt. And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief (Matthew 13:58). Using only their physical senses, the people of Nazareth did not walk in the Spirit or live in the Spirit.

A Spiritual Taste

The sense of taste means much to the physical body. If you don’t have a keen sense of taste, you will not eat the way you should; your food will be more or less tasteless. Without a sense of taste you have no appetite, and many Christians without the spiritual sense of taste do not have an appetite for the Word of God. It’s a burden for them to pick up the Bible and spend time with it, but with the spiritual senses you can be different. The Word will become like a new Book as you take God’s ultimate anointings.

The spiritual senses are dulled when you think you can’t measure up to or acquire reality in the Word; in other words, you reason with yourself through your five physical senses and omit the spiritual ones. The Word says, Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord (Isaiah 1:18). When the Lord wants you to reason with Him, He means for you to reason in the six spiritual senses. He takes you into the realm of divinity to reason with you. In Eden, Adam and Eve lived in that divine realm; they had everything they needed to talk with God one-on-one without doubt, fear or frustration. That’s the way it should be with us, too.

O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him (Psalm 34:8). The spiritual taste enables you to taste of the Lord. Taste and see God’s love, God’s grace, God’s hope, peace, direction and promises for you. With this sense of taste you can taste all the promises of God. Many have doubted Him, unable to handle His promises because they couldn’t taste those promises and the transforming power in them. They couldn’t taste the sweetness of God in His promises, couldn’t believe His promises were for them. The spiritual taste is satisfied by claiming all the promises of God.

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious (I Peter 2:2,3). If you haven’t tasted of the Lord, you’re not growing. As a newborn babe desires milk, you desire the Word. The baby must have a desire for the milk or it won’t take it. You must have a desire for the Word, for if you don’t, you won’t be a healthy child of God. Christians are weak who don’t desire the Word. It isn’t God’s fault they are weak; they avoid spiritual nourishment.

In the beginning of the Church, its members became spiritual giants because they went from the physical senses to the spiritual ones, from one world to another. They became so different that even some of their own family despised them to the extent of wanting them killed. Those family members, of course, didn’t have the Spirit of the living God. Some of them knew a little about God, but knowing about Him and wanting Him are two different things. They had ears to hear, but didn’t want to listen. Jesus described them as people who seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive (Matthew 13:13,14). In their blindness they thought being filled with Christ was a disgrace. They were not tasting of the Lord. They didn’t know His goodness.

If you don’t taste of the Lord, the devil can twist your mind until you hardly know what you think. But if you taste and see, you know that the Lord is gracious—full of grace—that each promise is sure, that He is walking with you in a most amazing manner. All His ways toward you are marvelous when you are pure, clean and holy in His sight, a son or daughter of God. He loves you just as He loves the Only Begotten; He loves you with the same kind of love, and He is ready to serve you just as He was ready to serve Jesus when He walked the earth.

While Jesus was at the well telling a woman about the Lord, his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work (John 4:31-34). Jesus’ meat was in helping people. The spiritual sense of taste feeds your soul, gives you food to win people to the Lord. The disciples at that time didn’t understand about spiritual taste. Some Christians today are like that. They don’t understand when others say that their cup runneth over, that they are fat in the Lord, dining at His table. What table? What cup? They don’t see a table or a cup. They don’t know what that rejoicing brother or sister is talking about.

How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth (Psalm 119:103)! Does the Word become sweeter than honey to you? Saying that the Word can’t be tasted is disputing this verse. If you can’t taste the Word, you are not believing, not accepting the six spiritual senses. Taste the Word; food that you can’t taste will never satisfy you.

Keep the spiritual senses alive and in operation in your life. Just as you keep the physical senses healthy by taking care of them, keep the spiritual senses healthy by taking care of your spiritual life. A nourishing spiritual walk with the Lord keeps the six senses growing, makes you conscious of them in whatever you do.

When I received salvation, I couldn’t get enough of the Word. The Word tasted better to me than anything else. As much as I had heard the Word and memorized countless verses when I was a child, now I couldn’t get enough of it. It had become a different Book to me. Growing up, I didn’t have the spiritual senses; I used the physical ones. Through the physical senses I heard the Word of God, but now I was hearing the Word through the divine senses. The Word of the living God is divinely inspired. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost (II Peter 1:21).

A Spiritual Fragrance

The spiritual sense of smell is fragrance from God. Ephesians 5:9, For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth. All the fruits of the Holy Spirit are greater than physical fruit. What a fragrance the fruit of the Holy Spirit brings to those who are healthy in the Lord! The smell of love, peace and joy give off a divine fragrance. What a scent to wear—God’s love! And love is only one of the fruits.

Today the physical world has many, many fragrances for you to wear, but of all the fragrances in the spiritual senses, love is the most important; you are nothing without it. And now abideth faith, hope, charity [love], these three; but the greatest of these is charity (I Corinthians 13:13). No matter what you do, if you don’t have love, you stink in the nostrils of God. Love is what makes us smell so good to God. When you are full of His love and grace, you send off a fragrance that Heaven enjoys. Heaven, the angels are drawn to you if you have love.

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30). Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit by not accepting His fruits and their wonderful fragrance. You grieve the Holy Spirit when you don’t give yourself over to Him daily so He can produce His nine fruits in your life; you grieve the Holy Spirit, make Him cry. He cries again and again because He can’t produce His fruit the way He wants. He weeps over it. He calls out to us to yield to Him so He can produce His fruit, for He knows the precious, priceless value of it.

Spiritual Hearing

The spiritual sense of hearing is lacking in many Christians. Romans 10:17, So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Without the spiritual sense of hearing you glean no faith from the Word of God. Many have read the Word of God and gotten nothing from it. They didn’t hear the Word; they didn’t receive faith from it. When you need more faith, use the faith Book with your faith sense to reach God’s source of your supply. The Bible is a well of faith that will never run dry. You can draw all the faith you want from it, all the faith you need to cover every promise to be fulfilled for you.

Be filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5:18). Being filled with the Holy Spirit is the secret of having the spiritual sense of hearing, of being alert in the Lord. Be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10). God is trying to get people to be quiet in His presence, to recognize the fact that He wants to talk with them, to communicate with them. Ephesians 5:19 gives us a sample of the results of a spiritual sense of hearing: Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. The spiritual sense of hearing brings joy. Some Christians listen to music that does not edify and bless them because they either do not have the spiritual sense of hearing or else they have such a little of it that they don’t receive inspiration from spiritual songs.

Had someone told me the week before I was saved that I wouldn’t want the world’s music, I wouldn’t have believed him. I had no idea my love of the world would be wiped out so completely, but the Lord took it all away. He eliminated my desire to dance to the swing bands. I didn’t know that could happen, that worldly music would no longer affect me. I had been dead in trespasses and sin, but now I was dead to them all, dead to the world.

If your heart is not satisfied with the psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, then your six senses are not right, saith the Lord. Any child of God who wants to listen to the world’s music has something wrong with the spiritual, divine sense of hearing. If Jesus were to knock on your door while you were playing rock music, you would turn it off in a hurry. You may not see Him; nevertheless, He knows what you’re doing; that’s the reason He is so pleased when you use the spiritual senses.

Submit

The key word to using the spiritual senses is submit. Submission means total obedience, total humility, total surrender. To submit is to yield completely to the control of the Spirit and the power of the Holy Ghost, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit (Ephesians 6:18). This verse is not referring to speaking in tongues, but to praying with the spiritual sense, praying in love, grace, faith, obedience. Submit to God in prayer.

For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God (Romans 10:3). Many today are ignorant of God’s righteousness, and so they invent their own brand, a self-righteousness. They have not submitted themselves to the righteousness of God.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). The reason people can’t make the devil flee very far is that they have not submitted themselves to God in a great way. Submit yourself totally to God and make the devil run from you.

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you (James 4:8). God gave you His whole heart when He gave you Jesus on Calvary. He cannot come any closer, but you must come close to Him, must have the desire to draw close to Him. If you go into the world of the six spiritual senses, you will draw nigh to Him every day of your life. You want the closeness of Him at all times.

God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble (James 4:6). The grace of God is the ultimate favor of God. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up (James 4:10). Submit, humble yourself in total obedience to the Lord. Surrender completely to Him. What God wants in your spirit, what will make you the perfect partner with Him in this final hour is holy submission, divine surrender.

The Lord spoke to me to let us know the place we must be in to use the spiritual senses. He spoke as though He were a person making vows of dedication; I had never before heard the Lord talk like this, but as Jesus took our place on the Cross, He is taking our place now, teaching us what true dedication to Him calls for, showing us what should be coming from us, what we should be thinking, doing and saying. Speaking for us He said: I submit all my opinions. I submit all my thoughts; I give them to the Lord to let the Holy Spirit replace them with His thoughts.

Bow with those thoughts of self; you don’t want them. Give them up. If you hold on to thoughts not in agreement with the Lord’s thoughts, He won’t take them away from you. You have free will, free choice. On the other hand, if thoughts come to your mind that you don’t want, submit them to Him, and the Holy Ghost will replace them with beautiful thoughts. A good thought can shoot down a bad one.

I submit all my ways; God, I submit to your truth only. I submit to your faith. I submit to your love in total submission with the fruit of self-control, total submission. The only way one can have total submission is through the fruit of self-control. I will dine on it daily.

Free choice: I give it into your hands, dear Lord. I choose you this day for time and eternity. I am yours now just as much as I will be for all eternity. I have made my final choice, and I want no other choice. I have come into the new and living way, a new world of the six spiritual senses, the Jesus way. I am a child of God; Heaven is mine and the ways of God are mine; that’s my final choice. I will not allow my mind to toy with any part of the world.

I submit to all your plans, dear Lord. I submit to every plan you have. I submit to all your desires. I submit to all the directions of the Holy Spirit. My opinions go and are replaced by your opinions. I submit to the ways of the Spirit. I submit to all the teachings of the Holy Ghost.

I submit to all the power of the Holy Ghost. I submit my time for His time. I give up my time. Any time you want me, Lord, I am yours. You have my time; you have top priority. I submit all fellowships and take your fellowship, Lord, first and foremost. I will not be entangled with friend or foe who would hinder your perfect will in my life.

Sometimes your closest friends can be your greatest hindrance in your doing God’s perfect will. They may take up so much of your time that you don’t spend enough time with the Lord, enough time winning souls like you should and helping others.

I will seek daily to be free from every tiny disobedience. When you are sensitive to the Holy Spirit, you notice those tiny disobediences. They are like a wee speck, a cinder that can get into your eye and cause much trouble. Only one little speck of disobedience in the spiritual eye is harmful.

I will unload my goals and take yours, Lord, not part-time but all the time. This is the way the Early Church talked, I’m sure. The Lord is giving you some wonderful thoughts to ponder over.

I take the Jesus commandment, and I make it mine. I will love, love, love. I will be like you, Lord—not my will, but yours.

Never answer one of my prayers, Lord, that is not your divine will. I never again want your permissible will. Too often we have gone by the permissible will of God rather than His divine will, and we have been satisfied with it. No more.

I give my life with the willingness that your Only Begotten gave His. I give my life as Jesus gave His. Never again will I seek to save my life, but daily I will seek to lose it in Calvary’s blood-love flow.

Daily my eyes will be lifted unto you, Lord, you who are my very life. I want all the ways you planned for me. I want to walk with divinity; I want to live in divinity. I want nothing less than the Jesus humility. No love for the world and its pleasures, I only want the Pearl of Great Price to be mine. I am selling all to buy that great, great Pearl. I will desire money to use to win the lost. I count the riches of Heaven far, far beyond the wealth of the world. I will submit to your voice, Lord, to your faith and love for me all the time. I will seek to never doubt what you are saying to me, to never doubt one word. I will hide it all in my heart and let it be strength to me.

I will honor the Holy Spirit with all my faculties. I will never again glory in self, only in your Spirit. I will take your righteousness instead of self-righteousness. I will not seek self-justification, but the Jesus justification. I will drink daily from the rock Christ Jesus.

I can feel the anointing flowing forth from these words, words the Lord gave. The Lord is telling you how to serve Him, how to come in to the six spiritual senses, and how to use His ultimate anointings once you are in.

I will believe your love for me, Lord, your faith for me, your promises for me, your peace for me, your ultimate anointings for me. I will believe.

I will believe your planned destiny, Lord, for my life. Do you want the Lord to plan your destiny? Do you want your destiny to be what the Lord wants it to be? I will not only believe your Holy Word, but I will believe it to work in divine power, ultimate power outside the Bible. I will believe it will go into action in my life just as it says it will do. I will believe that the Word of God lives, that it has the life of God in it. It is the Word in action.

I am unloading the doubt, fears, oppression, depression and all despair. I find none of these things in your love. I ask in your faith, and know your faith will deliver me from everything unlike you. I take the divine blood as my priceless, treasured possession. I will use the blood daily. I will treasure the knowledge, the revelation that you have given to me of your blood. I will take up the Cross and carry it ever onward to victory.

I thank you, Lord, for teaching me about inspiration, revelation and reality.

The Quickening of the Holy Spirit

Think of all the wonderful things God has told you to help you move on into His greatness; ponder them. Let them become a part of you. Come to the place you can tell all these things to God yourself. Quickened by the Spirit, you will know you are using the six spiritual senses.

To be quickened means to be enlivened, to come to life, to be stimulated, to stir, to be caused to move more rapidly, to hasten. We need total submission to the Lord so we can hasten to bring in the harvest; we must have that submission in this final hour. The Early Church had it and they accomplished much in a short period of time.

To quicken is to show signs of life. The Holy Spirit will quicken you as He moves with great life within, shows signs that He lives on the inside of you. He is the third person of the Godhead. He moves with the life of God. If you never feel the move of the Holy Spirit within, He couldn’t be there.

Delight in the Lord

Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart (Psalm 37:4). To delight means to have the power to please greatly. The Lord is telling you how to please Him greatly. To delight is to give great joy or pleasure. You can give the Lord great joy and pleasure, so much that He wants to be with you. He wanted to be with Adam and Eve every day—before the fall.

How can you delight yourself in the Lord? To be highly pleased with all He has promised, all He has said, with all His ways. Rejoice always in Him and be joyful in His joy.

Quench not the Spirit (I Thessalonians 5:19). Don’t stop the Holy Spirit when He wants to move. He is showing you, guiding you, teaching you. If you reject His guidance, you quench Him. Some think quenching the Holy Spirit is failure to shout when they feel His moving, but quenching the Holy Spirit is refusing to yield enough to let Him move. No matter what the Holy Spirit is doing with you, don’t stop Him.

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked (Ephesians 6:16). You are to quench the darts of the enemy, not the workings of the Holy Spirit. With the armor of God, with that sixth sense of faith, you can quench the enemy. Yield to the Holy Spirit in every aspect of your life, in every way. The Bible teaches living in the fulness of the Holy Spirit.

And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost…was led by the Spirit into the wilderness (Luke 4:1). Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit to fast. In all things Jesus was led by the Spirit, led to pray, to do the work of God. He had become very man and was showing you how you, too, should do God’s work.

As the Spirit led Jesus, the Holy Spirit seeks to lead you in all spiritual directions, all spiritual things. He is your director. Everything that pertains to the spiritual life mentioned in the Word of God, the Holy Ghost directs you in. You must let Him lead you.

They All Were Filled with the Holy Ghost

And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee (Luke 4:14). We find Him saying, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me (Luke 4:18). In the Acts of the Apostles we read that those in the Upper Room were all filled with the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:4). After Paul was struck down on the road to Damascus, Ananias prayed that he might receive his sight and be filled with the Holy Ghost (Acts 9:17). Stephen being full of the Holy Ghost… (Acts 7:55).

The six spiritual senses rely on the Word of God, the name of Jesus and the Holy Ghost. In the book of Acts we find those three things used again and again by the apostles. And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith (Acts 6:7). No power could stand before the name of Jesus. The apostles and disciples used the name Jesus and devils were cast out, the sick were healed. When they used that name it was the same as Jesus speaking. When Jesus speaks, it’s the same as God speaking, and when God speaks, the thing is done.

Lean On Divinity

Move on in to the six spiritual senses. Move on in and walk by faith, not by sight ( II Corinthians 5:7). In the past have you depended on the physical and not on God? When you lean on the physical you lean on flesh, but when you lean on divinity, you lean on the six spiritual senses. How wonderful it is to let divinity really take you over!

The Old Testament Law didn’t include the six spiritual senses; the people didn’t have them like we have today to use in such a gracious way. Calvary paid for the spiritual senses. If you want to know why we can have so much, it’s because Jesus paid the price with His own blood. Everything He brought is yours.

Move on in to those spiritual senses. There is much to do for God in this final hour. You can’t live by feelings any longer; you can’t walk by sight. Live in faith and walk in faith. If you don’t walk in faith, you won’t live in it. If you don’t use divine faith, you will use physical faith. When you use the human faith instead of the divine, you miss the divine touch sense that could be yours.

How wonderful, how great to have the divine sense of touch, the divine taste of the Lord! Such love, such fruits, such generous gifts the Lord has for the spiritual inner man, the real you, the soul that came from the breath of God!

Because your soul is a part of God, it cannot die. It will exist in eternity in either a living life or a living death. Your soul can’t be satisfied on physical food, only on the spiritual food that comes from God. The body came from the earth; it can be satisfied with things of the earth, with gratifying the five senses. But the inner man that came from God cannot be satisfied at all with things of the world, with food from the ground.

The greatness of God is beyond the mind, but not beyond the soul. How can you take all of this in? Take it into your soul. You can hold all the greatness of God in your soul; there is no limit on its capacity, for there is no limit to God. Your mind won’t hold it all; let His greatness go right into your soul, and the Holy Ghost living on the inside will feed the mind. That which you taste of the Lord goes into your soul to feed the mind through the power of the Holy Spirit—when you have Him and are yielded to Him. Feed good thoughts to your soul.

Taste and see that the Lord is good; dine with Him. Food in the soul gives you the divine strength of the Lord, the divine power of the Lord to work in your life. There is nothing like the power and greatness of Almighty God. Yield to God; get ready to cross over into His greatness.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:5,6). Now is the time to trust the Lord; now is the time to put your whole trust in Him. If you put your whole trust in God it will be through the six spiritual senses. You will dine, dine, dine in the strength, the power and the greatness of Him; and you will be the soul-winner He wills you to be, the little shepherd to bring in the lost. He will serve you, the delight of His heart, armfuls on purpose and not withhold any good thing from you. For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11).

Serve the Lord in righteousness, in the Spirit and truth; serve Him through the six spiritual senses. Serving Him this way is the only way you can really please Him one hundred percent; no other way will do. Move on in to the spiritual senses and let the Lord bring you into a reality of Him, a reality He hasn’t been able to give since the beginning of the Church. He offers you this great living reality, His love and peace to live within you. Move on in to all His greatness in this last and final hour.
