Mission Accomplished in the Dominican Republic

Just three short months after returning from South Africa, Star Triple Seven was on its way again to another soul-winning destination—the Dominican Republic. As Rev. Angley prayed before we took off, the Lord confirmed, I am with you, and my loving arms are around you. Behold, you are on the Mount of my Glory. You’re sent by my greatness and called of God to do my work in this final hour. Rev. Angley closed by reminding us that the Lord would be our insurance and protection all the way.
Our first stop was to be the capitol city of Santo Domingo where very few of the three million people speak English. Therefore, many of the eager tour members spent a good part of the just over three-hour flight reviewing the Spanish materials provided by the ministry for the trip.
Early the next morning, our people loaded themselves down with Spanish literature and Bibles and set out for the streets to put their “new language” to the test. Of course, it’s not possible to master another language in such a short period of time, but a Jesus smile and God’s anointing can transcend any communication gap. The people graciously received us and wanted all that we could share with them. As tour members prayed with those they met on the streets, those souls would later return with additional friends and family who also wanted a touch from the Lord. The harvest was indeed ripe, and the anointing was drawing the people.
Santo Domingo had really been anticipating our arrival, and additional opportunities to share the Gospel opened immediately. In just the first two days, the trio sang on a local television program while tour members visited an AIDS orphanage, the trauma center of a large regional hospital and a children’s hospital. In the ICU of one of the hospitals, one of our workers prayed with and gave a Bible to a young lady shortly before she was to have surgery. That was definitely a divine appointment because the tears flowed as she cried, “I have been praying for this.”
Santo Domingo Ministers’ Meeting
Thursday morning brought the ministers’ meeting, and the main floor of the lecture hall was packed. Rev. Angley greeted the crowd with, “We have come with the love of Jesus to work with you, to help you enlarge your churches and to inspire you in every way that we can. In my crusades, people really get born again; and they receive the real Holy Ghost with no speaking in tongues at will. We have had as many as 60,000 to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost at one time; they were numbered by the Lord.”
Rev. Angley then went on to explain to the ministers how God uses him and how the miracle power moves: “Whenever you see me praying for the sick, the angel of the Lord stands by my side as tall as a man. He directs me in every service, and he tells me your diseases. God takes me inside of you, and I watch as He re-creates parts of people’s bodies. I see angels as you see people. I never thought such a thing could happen to me…but the Lord gets all the glory! You must give Him the glory. He told me that His eyes run to and fro throughout the whole Earth seeking people He can perform a miracle on who will be a witness for Him in this final hour.”
“I see the miracle star,” Rev. Angley continued. “It has so many manifestations. I see it as it strikes people where they’re afflicted, and I see it inside the bodies of people. It’s something to watch God at work. You feel the power of God, but I get to see it in different colors.”
Rev. Angley further explained what makes him different from other ministers they may have heard. “I stay in my room with the Lord, and I live with Him. I take a fresh anointing for every service; and when I meet you and your people each night, I will be ready—God ready! I bring you the fellowship of Jesus Christ! I bring you His great love, His great faith, His great power, goodness, grace and mercy!”
Devils Are Real
As long as the Bride is on Earth, she will be fighting the devil; and Rev. Angley let these ministers know that the devil is real! “God has gifted me with the casting out of devils, and there will be thousands of people delivered and set free…I see devils just as you see people,” he said. “I see them going out of people, and He will number how many there are in a person. The Lord spent thousands of hours with me teaching me about the different kinds of devils.”
Then Rev. Angley began to teach them about living free from sin. He let them know what a damnable doctrine once saved always saved is and how it has deceived so many. He emphasized that the Bible contains the whole truth and stressed that they must follow it above all else. He that entereth not by the door [Jesus is the Word, and Jesus is the door] into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber (John 10:1).
“God wants you to preach what’s in the Book,” Rev. Angley declared, “but don’t preach above what you live or it will catch up with you.” Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God (I Corinthians 6:9,10).
You Must Live Holy
Rev. Angley summed it all up when he declared, “God is a good God, but you have to live holy!” Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). Then he challenged them to work for the Lord more than ever: “I’m born to get the Gospel out. All the end-time signs are saying that the Lord is coming real soon…and I can see just one thing now holding the Rapture back—the lost harvest, and I’m here to help you bring it in. Soul-business is my mission!”
The hundreds of ministers in attendance opened wide their hearts to the Word of the Lord, and He poured out His miracle power to them! Nearly 350 deliverances and healings took place in the audience, and the meeting closed with victory in Jesus! The glory has taken over, saith the Lord; it’s all in the glory. God had really prepared them to receive much for themselves and for their people in the crusade services ahead.
During this week, Rev. Machamer had the opportunity to visit two of the ten prisons that are located in and around Santo Domingo. The government had started renovating and establishing rehabilitation programs in eight of the prisons, but these two prisons were not yet included. But God must have known that these inmates needed Him the most, and Rev. Machamer reaped a great harvest of souls in both places.
Friday Night Service
Friday night brought the opening service in the Santo Domingo crusade; and when Rev. Angley greeted the people, he let them know, “God talks to me, and He tells me where to go; and I’m here because I’m sent of God. I’m on time with you people, and I’m here to serve! Many of you will be witnesses like you’ve never been before by the time this crusade is over.”
Rev. Angley first introduced them to their greatest weapon—the divine blood of Jesus. “Every miracle comes through the divine blood!” he exclaimed; and he taught them to trample the devil underfoot by saying, The blood, the blood, the blood! He let them know that they would not only receive miracles for themselves but also for their loved ones. “Just lift your hands and take the anointing,” he instructed, “and they can be healed.”
The Bible says, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23).
“It’s sad that some people will doubt the blessings of God right out of their lives,” Rev. Angley warned. “Just because medical science can’t find the cure for you doesn’t mean that Heaven doesn’t have it!”
Divine Faith
Rev. Angley opened his sermon with Matthew 8:26. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? He explained, “The Lord brought divine faith. Every time the Lord speaks of little faith in the Bible, He’s referring to human faith. Human faith cannot bring miracles; it takes divine faith.”
He then continued from the Word, Then he [Jesus] arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him (Matthew 8:26,27)! “I have brought this man to you tonight!” exclaimed Rev. Angley. “As the Lord’s humble servant, He has given me His favor to carry His love to people throughout the whole Earth; and I gratefully carry His power to people like you so you can be set free.” Jesus said, If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed (John 8:36).
“Do you believe He is God?” Rev. Angley challenged them. “Do you believe He has all power? The name is Jesus…and He loves you…and He will do anything for you. Will you serve Him?” Jesus said, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me (Matthew 16:24). “It’s time to drop the old nets of the world and follow Jesus,” Rev. Angley declared. “You have to live like Jesus, love like Jesus, talk like Jesus and pray like Jesus.”
“I haven’t brought you one doubt; I bring you faith in God, and faith in God will heal you! It will save your soul and baptize you in the Holy Ghost! It will give you rest and calm on the inside.”
The Lord at Work
This faith then allowed the Lord to begin moving for the people: A 43-year-old cancer victim with only six weeks to live was made whole; a young mother with breast cancer would now live to raise her children; a diabetic scheduled to lose her foot no longer had to face that nightmare; and a woman with crippling arthritis was spared from life in a wheelchair. Rev. Angley told her, “You’ll find out when you’re going to your car after the service that no one will have to help you. Your faith went heaven high, and you are healed.”
Rev. Angley then began ministering to people brought on stage. The Lord uses these miracles as examples for the people of what God can do for everyone. As the miracles began to take place, many people were seeing God in action for the first time; and this night was just the beginning of what was to come.
A majority of our tour members were back out on the streets Saturday morning, but a small group went to a children’s home for the underprivileged. Unbeknown to us, the children were being taught Japanese; so it was more than just a coincidence that one of our workers chosen to make that visit spoke fluent Japanese. God puts people right where He wants them.
Saturday Night Service
The Saturday service began under a clear blue sky; but an hour into the service, the heavens opened up, and the rain poured down. Rev. Angley warned the people against leaving because the Lord had let him know that He had sent the rain. “I’ve seen God give great miracle services in the rain; so if the Lord wants to soak us, it’s all right.” Of course, some insisted on leaving, but it was all part of God’s plan. “They’re running away from the blessings of God,” Rev. Angley said. “This will get rid of the unbelievers…we’re here in the presence of the Lord to be blessed.”
It rained harder and harder, but there was no wind. The rain came straight down in the same way that Rev. Angley describes seeing the power of God fall on people; and the more it rained, the more God poured out His power. The people yielded to the Lord in such a beautiful way that they became like spiritual sponges, soaking up all that the Lord poured out.
God began to move for the people, and Rev. Angley pointed out a mother in the invalid section with AIDS who also had a child dying with AIDS. He told her, “When you get home, your child will be healed; and you will be healed also.”
Then the Lord spoke through Rev. Angley saying, I am here, saith the Lord, and I have come down to you. Look to me; only believe, and you will receive. With that revelation, the spiritual heavens opened up and the miracles flowed just like the rain. The Lord poured out over 13,000 miracles including 1326 for back conditions, 2173 for nerve trouble, and 3171 for battles of the mind. Then Rev. Angley had the crowd join together in saying the sinners’ prayer, and the Lord revealed that 3951 had given their hearts to the Lord. “The latter rain is falling,” Rev. Angley declared, “and it’s harvest time!”
The Rain of the Spirit
But the Lord wasn’t finished yet, and He moved on Rev. Angley to call the Holy Ghost down on the people as described in Acts 2:4. When he did, the Spirit came down just like the physical rain; and in moments of time, the Lord revealed that 2781 had received the Holy Ghost. Bible Pentecost had come just as it was promised. And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh (Acts 2:17).
The people were now filled to the brim, but God was still moving. He revealed that three people in the audience were getting ready to commit suicide. One already had the rope and had been planning to follow through the previous Sunday morning until the Ernest Angley Hour came on the air. The second person had already purchased the gun and the third one had met one of our workers on the street who had convinced him to come to the service. Praise God that all three were delivered and accepted the Lord.
The Lord revealed to Rev. Angley that there was a young man who was really pulling hard for his dying mother. She hadn’t even been able to drink water for several days; but Rev. Angley told the person that when they went home, they would find her eating soup.
Before the service ended, Rev. Angley told the people, “The Lord used this rain, saith the Lord, to shake you up. It forced some of you to believe; God can’t work with doubt.” The Lord’s plan had worked perfectly, and the people no longer seemed to notice that they were soaked because they had been filled to overflowing with God’s miracle blessings.
The service ended on a high note as a totally blind girl received her sight. Her brother wasn’t sure that he believed it until she looked and told him what color shirt and tie he was wearing. Then, he couldn’t contain himself.
Sunday Night Service
Sunday night was our last service in Santo Domingo, and Rev. Angley announced at the very beginning that angels had already moved in. He pointed out a blind person that was beginning to see, a person with a brain tumor who would not need their scheduled surgery, and a 19-year-old AIDS victim near death who was given life. “All of this is done in the name of Jesus,” Rev. Angley declared.
The Cathedral Trio came on the platform to sing two songs, and Rev. Angley revealed that miracles would take place while they sang: 20 for AIDS, 19 for cancer, 79 for a rare blood disease, 115 for incurable fever blister viruses and 197 for itching, burning rashes. God cares about every affliction.
Jesus, the Life-Giver
Rev. Angley’s sermon was taken from Matthew 11:5, The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. The Lord wanted the people to know that Jesus was the life-giver for soul, mind and body. Rev. Angley told them that when God first created man and woman, He created them in total perfection; they were never to grow old or die. Once we reach Glory, we will also have a glorified body that will never die; but while we’re here on Earth, the Lord wants to make us whole in our souls and in our bodies. “You can be healed!” Rev. Angley declared. “Do you believe that?”
The Bible says, Ask, and it shall be given you…For every one that asketh receiveth (Matthew 7:7,8). “I bring you the promises of God,” Rev. Angley continued, “and there’s a promise to meet every need that we have!” Thus saith the Lord, I am here to deliver you. I sent my servant to deliver you this night. Only believe and be made whole!
The people did believe, and 31 people with one deaf ear were healed in the audience without even coming to the platform. Rev. Angley instructed them to hold up their fingers and allow an angel to put the power of God on them. He then told them to put their fingers in their ears as he prayed. After these great miracles, Rev. Angley requested that all the many deaf people waiting to get on stage line up in front of the platform. Using sign language interpreters, he instructed them in the same way as he had those in the audience; and as they received their miracles, Rev. Angley paraded them across the platform to show the people what God had done. “You must give God all the glory!” he proclaimed.
These miracles sent the people’s faith heaven high, and mass miracles began to take place: 947 for various deadly diseases, 2920 for internal trouble, 1376 for ear trouble and 1126 for eye miracles—and the Lord specifically said that three of these were for total blindness.
This fabulous crusade ended with Tom and Lisa singing How Great Thou Art, and the Lord had certainly shown His great and mighty power to the people of Santo Domingo.
Moving to Santiago
Monday morning we boarded a bus to journey north into the mountains for our next crusade in Santiago. This city, although smaller, still contained close to one million people that needed to be reached with the Gospel; and our work began immediately. The street work is always a priority, and two smaller groups of our workers also ministered to the elderly at a nursing home and to disabled children needing special care. The Trio made another television appearance, and Rev. Machamer conducted a service at a men’s prison where he had the largest gathering that facility had ever seen; even the head of the prison was taking pictures of the crowd. Our mission director took another group to a women’s prison where the anointing softened hardened hearts as only the Lord can do.
A Real Teaching Session
The ministers’ meeting on Thursday morning drew another good crowd, and Rev. Angley began by introducing the pastors to their greatest weapon: the divine blood. “Everything you put under the blood will be taken care of. That includes salvation, physical healing and all problems. Don’t go back and pick them up; just praise the Lord for the answers. Have confidence in the blood, and the answers will come.”
He continued to teach them about the unsearchable riches of the divine blood, explaining that if they didn’t understand the divine blood, they would never understand the mysteries of Christ.
He said that the divine blood brings the compassion that took Jesus to Calvary and that there is nothing like divine blood-love. “The Lord told me that He never used all of His love until He made Calvary for you and me,” Rev. Angley revealed. “God had to turn His back on His beloved Son because He had no more love left to give. If people don’t accept that sacrifice, then there’s nothing left for them.”
“I have to have souls,” Rev. Angley cried. “If I didn’t think there were souls, I wouldn’t be in your country. You have to help me win souls, and that’s what this meeting is all about—getting the anointing from Heaven to break the bondages for the unsaved in this nation.”
The Divine Blood Has It All
There is so much in the divine blood, and Rev. Angley moved on to its role in healing. The soldiers had beaten the Son of God almost to death, and He was a horrible sight; but Rev. Angley explained that at the whipping post is where Christ paid the price for our physical healing. “I bring you Jesus,” he proclaimed, “and that’s why there will be so many miracles! This is a Jesus-touch ministry.”
But Rev. Angley was quick to humbly qualify, “I have no monopoly on this ministry. This same ministry is for every child of God that is called to preach.” The Bible says, And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18). “I follow hard after Jesus.”
Rev. Angley told the ministers that, like Paul, he is a prisoner of the Lord. “I’m not behind bars,” he explained, “but I’m closed in with God’s love and grace. He must keep me separated unto Himself so He can use me and visit with me at any hour. I can be standing before a huge audience and suddenly go into one vision after another. Then the Lord will pick out a person way in the back of thousands of people and let me know His thoughts concerning that person. I never get over the wonder of it.”
Separate from the World
“Preachers, you have to separate. You need to fast, pray and spend hours in God’s presence.” The Bible says, This kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21). “Have you ever had a long fast like Jesus?” Rev. Angley asked. “It takes that, and I’ve had many of them. That’s why I’m ready for God’s will to be done in any way.”
“When you fast,” he explained, “you dine on the Word.” Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). “Then the Lord actually told me that when you drink the water, think of drinking from the river of life…and His strength will flow.” Rev. Angley continued, “I want the Lord’s anointing to come upon you so that you’ll go on long fasts. If all of you would get filled up with living water here today, we could really do great things for God.”
Rev. Angley left them with a final warning, “Preachers, you’re not going to have a lot of God in your churches unless you have order. The Lord told me that I would have to make people honor God…I don’t care how close you are to God; you’ll never have any greatness until you have order.”
The service closed with a prophecy from the Lord: I am here, saith the Lord. I have sent my holy prophet to you. He knows my thoughts, and he gives you only truth. I use his mind as my very own; I use his voice as my very own. I am here to show my greatness, and it will change your life if you let it. Watch my servant as he gives over to me; and I use him to perform miracles, miracles, miracles. You can be my holy instrument; you can be used. But you must forsake all of the world and the spirit of the world.
The Lord had used Rev. Angley to pour out the truth to these pastors and to give them so much of the meat of the Word that it would likely take weeks of dedication to digest it all.
Our distribution of crusade invitations on the streets resumed that afternoon, and a small group went to a local hospital. Both patients and visitors humbly raised their hands and bowed their heads to receive Jesus as their Savior, and then they were ready for the Lord to really move for their bodies. Even nurses were so affected by the presence of the Lord that they asked for prayer that they might have more compassion for their patients.
Friday Night Service
Friday arrived, and the service began with a crowd exceeding any of those from the previous weekend. These people were hungry. “This is a blood-love crusade, and everybody’s welcome!” Rev. Angley exclaimed. “We come with the love of Jesus, and His love doesn’t leave out any race, creed or color.” Then he asked them, “Who do you love? Who will do anything for you? And who will you do anything for?” The enthusiastic crowd immediately answered each question with Jesus! Rev. Angley didn’t want the people to see a man at work; he wanted them to see Jesus!
“My ministry is a love-work,” Rev. Angley explained. “My tour members work through love, and I built my ministry through love. People that want to be paid for everything are no good. I love the Lord, and I want to be just like Jesus…and Jesus said He came to serve. I love people, and I have great compassion for them. The Lord loves you, but you must yield to Him while I’m here so that God can bless you and your family.”
Receive Abundant Life
Rev. Angley preached to them about abundant life. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). “One sin wrecked the whole world,” he told them. “But the Lord has made abundant life available to everyone. Remember that when Jesus healed people, He told them, Go, and sin no more (John 8:11).”
“I always remember that I’m a servant,” Rev. Angley humbly told them. “I’m not above anybody. Jesus gave His life for me, and I’m giving mine for Him. I’ve told the Lord that I don’t want to live if I can’t win souls.”
Rev. Angley then asked the people to focus on the promises of God. “I must have your undivided attention,” he said. “It grieves me when a person gets robbed by someone disturbing in the crowd. One person may move and get another person’s mind off of God when death is working in that person’s body, and they’re just about to get a miracle. It makes me want to go to my room and cry.”
Miracle Time
Then the Lord moved in and said, I am here for you. I’ve sent my prophet to you so you can be set free. Rev. Angley then turned to the audience, and the miracles began. There was a man who had a grandchild dying of AIDS. “The Lord said He spared that one until I got here,” Rev. Angley said; and then God said the child was healed. The husband of a 39-year-old woman was unfaithful to her and brought AIDS to her and to her unborn baby. Rev. Angley told her, “You’re not the guilty one, thus saith the Lord; you’re healed of AIDS, and your baby is healed of AIDS.”
The miracles continued as a 49-year-old who had undergone unsuccessful open-heart surgery was made whole. A lady with cancer raging all through her heart was given no hope, but God re-created her heart. A man with cancer of the throat was told that he would never speak again, but God performed divine surgery. The thousands of mass miracles that followed included 1721 for nervous conditions, 1761 for nightmares, 1535 for stomach trouble and 2011 for allergies.
The service closed with a message from the Lord: I am here, saith the Lord; I have come down to you. I have anointed you. Go forth with my power. It is the same power that my Son used when He walked among men. It is yours to use. Use it with my divine faith; use it with my divine love. This was just the beginning of an amazing outpouring of the Spirit.
The next day, Rev. Machamer and his assistant, Steve Millar, held services in both the maximum and minimum security sections of a men’s prison. Another group traveled to a children’s hospital which just happened to be located right across the street from the crusade grounds; and during that evening’s service, you could see little faces peering through the windows.
Saturday Night Service
The Dominican Republic is extremely hot in July, so the cool breeze that ushered in the second service was a welcome relief. God is merciful even in the little things, and this night proved to be refreshing both spiritually and physically.
Rev. Angley arrived to a standing-room-only crowd, and he opened the service exclaiming, “God, we welcome you! We welcome your Son and your Holy Spirit! We want you to take 100% control of this service!” And that He did as just moments after Rev. Angley stepped onto the platform, the Lord began moving for individuals in the crowd.
A 39-year-old AIDS victim planning to take his life saw Rev. Angley on television, and the Lord drew him to the service. He was possessed with 29 devils, but he was completely set free soul, mind and body. No case is too hard for the Lord!
A grieving husband came to the service with his dying wife on his mind; and Rev. Angley said, “Your faith is drawing me to you…when you get home, you will find your wife is cured of cancer. You have a godly wife, and it’s not the will of God for His children’s bodies to be eaten up with cancer.”
To another he said, “You’ve been seeking the Lord for the will of God for your life. But one thing you haven’t done is fast a long fast…and the Lord is calling you on a long fast. He’ll give you His will for your life. He has something for you to do, but I can’t tell you what it is. You will have to fast to find it out for yourself, saith the Lord.”
People Must Honor God
People unaccustomed to real services of the Lord don’t always understand the strict discipline of the Spirit, and Rev. Angley pleaded with the crowd to honor God so that the Lord could continue moving. “The angel of the Lord has been by my side ever since I came to the platform tonight,” Rev. Angley said, “and you’ll notice that the discerning started right away. If I can get you to honor God, you’ll be amazed at what will happen. Use your faith for your loved ones because many have been healed of AIDS that were too critical to come to my services. Please let the Lord work tonight. I give my life so that He’ll work for you.”
Come to the Light
The people listened, and God continued to move as He revealed a young murderer in the audience. “You have already killed one person, but the law has not caught up with you. You’re planning to kill two other people, but you’d better not. If you don’t give your heart to God, He’s going to let the law catch up with you, saith the Lord. You had better take heed. God knows all about you, and He’s desperately trying to save you.”
“I love sick and sinful humanity,” Rev. Angley tearfully declared. “I love troubled people, and I love people who are walking in the dark and can’t find their way. I’m here to tell you that the light shineth tonight. Come to the light!”
Demons Are Real
This led into Rev. Angley’s topic for the night—“Demonology.” He began by bringing Legion before them, the devil-possessed man Mark talks about in chapter five. The Lord delivered him, but then the Lord allowed the demons to go into the swine to show the people that demons are indeed real. Rev. Angley told the audience that the Lord taught him demonology, and he took them through the many frightening experiences he endured during that time of learning. “If it weren’t for the Lord,” he said, “I don’t think I could have survived it.”
Rev. Angley then specifically addressed the alcoholics and drug addicts crying, “Those devils are destroying you, your marriages, and many of you have AIDS. In a crowd like this, the Lord will move on me to command those devils to go out of you. When they go out, you will also be healed.” The Bible declares, The Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil (I John 3:8). “The Lord has gifted me to deliver you, and you can be delivered if you want to be.”
Rev. Angley had the people start saying, The blood, the blood, the blood. He had to get their minds focused on the delivering power in the divine blood of Jesus; and when he did, the devils began to flee. But when the devils go out of someone, that person must have the Lord take their place; so he had the entire crowd say the sinners’ prayer, after which he revealed that 15 of those who had accepted the Lord had also been healed of AIDS.
Reach Out and Touch the Lord
“The God of miracles lives!” Rev. Angley declared. “The miracle cloud of glory has come down. If you believe what the man of God is telling you, you can reach up; and your hands will go into the miracle cloud.” Then the Lord confirmed Rev. Angley’s words before the people saying, My servant is telling you the truth, saith the Lord. Believe, believe, believe! All things are possible if you believe me, saith the Lord. I am reaching to you. Reach up and touch me, saith the Lord. The Lord then blessed them with thousands of mass miracles, a mighty anointing to break bondages of any kind, and another very special anointing for sick and afflicted loved ones.
Sunday morning brought visits to some of the local churches and a trip by some of our street workers to a very busy market. There was just one service left, and we desperately wanted to give every soul possible a chance to hear about what the Lord was doing.
Final Service
The tour members had worked hard in the past weeks, distributing nearly 175,000 crusade invitations as well as thousands of additional tracts and Bibles; but all of our many efforts were definitely rewarded this last night as the crusade ground was filled nearly an hour before the service began. When Rev. Angley arrived, the local committee members presented him with a beautiful plaque and a Dominican Republic flag. It is a great honor to receive such a gift in that country because their flag represents the very heart of the people.
Rev. Angley was still overflowing with the Spirit from the night before; and he greeted the huge crowd with, “We’re going to pick up where we left off last night. Heaven came down and filled us up to the brim, so get ready for whatever you need tonight.”
He encouraged the people not only to pray for themselves but for others as well. The Bible tells us, By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another (John 13:35). “People come to my church and say that they have never seen love like they do there; but it’s Heaven’s divine love,” Rev. Angley said. “Chapter 13 of I Corinthians says that if we don’t have love, we are nothing. Love is the first thing God gives you when you go to Calvary. It even makes you love your enemies. You don’t have to like what they do, but you have to love their souls and pray for them.”
God Is On Time
Rev. Angley then called The Cathedral Trio to sing Four Days Late, and he revealed that there have been more people healed of AIDS during that song than during any other. “The Lord has already given me the number that will be healed,” Rev. Angley said. “Some of you have given up hope because you have already had people that you know die with AIDS. You may feel like the Lord will not heal you; but He loves you. Why will you doubt Him?” Rev. Angley tearfully cried. “He died for you; what more can He do? Let Him heal you tonight so you can tell the world about Jesus and His love.” After the song, the Lord revealed that 20 people had indeed been healed of AIDS.
More people began to believe, and 17 more were healed of AIDS; then the number climbed to 41, and it just kept increasing. Then Rev. Angley said, “If you have a dying loved one, accept the anointing to take to them; and the Lord will heal them.”
Faith was running high as Rev. Angley went on to reveal that eight had been healed of cancer through the faith of loved ones believing for those too sick to be there. “This place is lit up with the glory of the Lord,” Rev. Angley exclaimed as another 3471 were healed of internal complications.
The Fire of the Holy Ghost
Rev. Angley’s teaching this night was on the fire of the Holy Ghost. He revealed the Holy Ghost fire to them in the account of the burning bush; he brought before them the pillar of fire that led the Israelites out of the land of Egypt, and he told them that it was the fire of the Holy Ghost that sat upon the heads of all those in the Upper Room on the Day of Pentecost. He taught them that the real Holy Ghost baptism doesn’t involve speaking in tongues at will but is manifested only as the Spirit gives utterance.
“No preacher should preach without the baptism of the Holy Ghost,” Rev. Angley admonished. The Bible says, But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you (Acts 1:8). “The Holy Ghost is power from on High!” Rev. Angley declared, “and He makes great witnesses!”
Then it was their time to receive this great baptism. “The Lord has gifted me to call the Holy Ghost down,” Rev. Angley told them. “He’s pouring it out to all people, and you can have it; but you have to want it.” Rev. Angley called the power down upon the people, and they began to receive. The more they opened up, the more it rained down; and many were baptized in the precious Holy Ghost in just minutes. It was a fantastic sight to behold! In the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh (Acts 2:17). “The sky is covered with the power of the Holy Ghost…and the Cross is appearing,” Rev. Angley announced. “You will never be the same!”
Receive a Miracle
Rev. Angley then let the people know that the Holy Ghost is also the miracle worker and that many receive miracles when they receive the Holy Ghost. The Lord confirmed this by pointing out miracles for nervous breakdowns, a rare blood disease and a severe blockage in the lower bowel. Then there were hundreds of miracles for the deaf and mute both on and off the platform, including a particularly beautiful one for a husband and wife who had never before heard one another’s voices.
Rev. Angley is just a man, and he can’t possibly touch all the people that attend; but God can. At the end of the service, Rev. Angley prayed, “Lord, heal them all now. Oh Lord, you know I yearn for all of them to be healed, and you’ve worked to get them healed.” He then told them to reach up into the miracle cloud and be completely made whole.
“God is good,” Rev. Angley said. “Serve Him with all your hearts. The Lord wants miracles and healings to take place in every church today; but unless the truth is preached and lived, you won’t have them. The Lord only works with truth, holiness and righteousness.” The Lord does everything He can to enable the people to continue in the faith and grow in the truth. The crusades are supposed to be the beginning, not the end.
The Lord’s anointing touches the hearts of all those that we work with; and the bus driver, who had so graciously served us for the entire two-week trip, had eyes filled with tears as we all said goodbye at the airport. He said that he would carry us with him in his heart and more importantly, that he would now carry Jesus in his heart, too.
As we boarded Star Triple Seven for our journey home, the Lord confirmed that our trip had indeed been a great success for Him: Mission accomplished! The Lord really accomplished much through this group of people, saith the Lord. The angels in Heaven have rejoiced and rejoiced because so many came to the Lord, many that you don’t even realize as of yet. So many miracles took place that you had no way to number them; but I numbered them all, saith the Lord. I am with you now. Go forth to be witnesses for my honor and my glory, witnesses of this end-time hour. Let the people know that they have just a limited time to prepare themselves, saith the Lord.
