Lost and Restored

From Eden to Calvary, the physical senses of very few people have been holy in the eyes of God. Today in this last and final hour as people are born new, not only do the five physical senses change, become holy, the six spiritual senses are theirs to use because the power of God is being rained down.
In prophecy of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the Lord promised through Joel the prophet that He would send the rain, the early and the latter rain of the Spirit, great spiritual blessings. Joel 2:22,23, Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
The Early Church rejoiced in the former rain of the Holy Spirit, and we’re rejoicing in the latter rain. The beginning of the rain of the Holy Spirit right after Pentecost was in such perfection, poured out in such unbelievable ways that lives were changed completely. If the Church of Jesus Christ had continued to yield to God as they had in the first thirty-three years, they would have taken the world. But a great falling away, a vast darkness came in. The locust, the cankerworm, the caterpillar and the palmerworm ate away the dedication of the Church. Because of the Church’s disobedience, God allowed it to be robbed.
People close the hands of God through disobedience, and God cannot work with a closed hand. It was the open hands on the Cross that delivered us. Had Jesus not opened His hands, He never would have paid the price for our salvation. Open hands showed the open heart of God who allowed His Son to sacrifice His life for a lost and dying world.
Eat of the Spiritual Blessings
And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed (Joel 2:26). Ye shall eat in plenty: In other words, the Church of Jesus Christ will take in great spiritual blessings, will have plenty from the Lord to serve a lost world. You’ll never be ashamed, never lack God’s greatness. His hand is moving in this final hour, and the manifestations of the Spirit are being poured out. With one hundred percent confidence knowing that the Lord is going to save, heal and deliver multitudes, we will take Him to the nations.
Jesus Is Our Bread of Life
And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil (Joel 2:24). Wheat makes up the bread. Emphatically Jesus said, I am the bread of life (John 6:35). Jesus is the wheat, the bread; and the vats, the souls, shall overflow with the greatness of the Holy Spirit like mighty rivers.
Jesus said, Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead (John 6:49). The manna from Heaven that sustained the Israelites in the wilderness tasted like sweet wafers but gave strength only to the physical. Although there was no spiritual benefit in manna that we know of, nevertheless, it was a type of the spiritual benefits to come, a type of everlasting life.
Today you can dine daily on the real thing: the Bread from Heaven. Dine on it like the Israelites dined on manna, and you’ll be strong; no power will defeat you. But you cannot dine on that manna when you murmur, complain or grumble.
Manna from Heaven that fed the Israelites was a different kind of bread from this Bread that is come down now. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world (John 6:50,51).
Jesus’ statement was a stumbling block to the Jewish people. They couldn’t understand what He meant when He said the bread was His flesh, that to eat of it was to live forever. The Bible tells us that Jesus is the Word…made flesh (John 1:14). Jesus was saying: I will give my flesh; I will give the Word: the Word gives life. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4).
The Blood, the Seal of Redemption
The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you (John 6:52,53). Like the Jews, many Christians today don’t understand how they can drink the blood of Jesus and eat His flesh; they won’t reach for the spiritual senses.
The blood of Jesus from Heaven isn’t like the physical blood we have flowing in our veins. The blood of Jesus is spiritual blood; you understand how to use it through the spiritual senses.
Trying to rebuke the devil, some people use the blood as though it were ordinary blood. No; divine blood has spiritual impact, the spiritual powers of Heaven. When we become born again, spiritual blood flows in our souls with all the power, all the greatness of Almighty God. The power in the blood is for you to use. How do you use it? Through faith, spiritual faith that puts God into action for you any time or any place, giving you complete victory over the devil. Why should you live any other kind of life but one of complete victory in the Lord? Why not use the spiritual helps? His divine blood, His divine love, His divine grace, all are spiritual.
Failing to accept Bible prophecy through the spiritual senses, people don’t realize that the coming of the Lord is at the door; they don’t realize that evangelizing the world is the only barrier between them and the Rapture. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come (Matthew 24:14).
If you don’t accept the Word made flesh, the living Word of God, you’re excluded from God’s family. Unless you accept the life in the blood of Jesus, you have no eternal life; for without spiritual blood, the divine blood of Jesus sealed in your soul by the Holy Spirit, you have no salvation. The Holy Spirit is the agent who uses the blood to wash away your sins and to apply it to your soul. You are sealed with that holy Spirit of promise (Ephesians 1:13). Ye are sealed unto the day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30). What is the means of redemption? The divine blood of Jesus. Who seals that blood in our souls? The Holy Spirit.
For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him (John 6:55,56). Paul said, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me (Galatians 2:20). As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me (John 6:57). Notice, Jesus calls His Father “the living Father.” My Father is not dead, He is saying; my Father is very much alive and He has sent me; I live by the Father.
He that eateth me, even he shall live by me. You’ll live through the bread, through the body and blood of Jesus. These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum. Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it (John 6:59,60)? You can’t walk with God in the five physical senses; this walk takes the six spiritual senses. God gave us in the Spirit six senses, and the sixth one is faith. People with the six spiritual senses will hear what the Lord is saying. Jesus didn’t wait until Pentecost to offer the spiritual senses. From the time He began His ministry He offered them. Through His divine blood come the six spiritual senses.
Some Are Offended by the Word of God
When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it [eating His flesh and drinking His blood], he said unto them, Doth this offend you? What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before (John 6:61,62)? If this offends you, what will you do when you see me actually taken up into Heaven?
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63). To quicken means to enliven, to hasten, to cause to make haste into the greatness of God. The Spirit gives clear vision to see the paths of God, gives strength to walk all those paths, to see through the spiritual eye, hear through the spiritual ear and walk in the Spirit through the spiritual senses.
Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father (John 6:64,65). You can’t even come to me unless my Father invites you to come. From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him (John 6:66). How many people have been offended by the Word of God down through the years? Offended at the works of God, offended at the true Gospel of the Lord, people turn to a Gospel that has been watered down, compromised, one that won’t condemn them for their sins. They find a dead church where the live Gospel isn’t being preached, where no signs, wonders, miracles or healings are manifested.
Walk in the Spiritual Senses
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6).
You can’t please God without faith, that sixth spiritual sense. Abraham had it and that’s the reason he pleased God. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness (Romans 4:19-22). Having faith in perfection, Abraham is considered yet today to be the father of the faithful. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham (Galatians 3:7). Spiritually speaking we have become a part of Abraham; Abraham has become our father. Jesus made it possible.
The reality of God’s Word must be spiritually discerned. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). The Spirit has come so you can walk with Him in all the freedom, liberty, holiness and righteousness that the first man and woman walked in the Garden of Eden. The Lord doesn’t wait to be with you until the cool of the day; He’s with you all day and all night as well. I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee (Hebrews 13:5).
In physical bodies, Adam and Eve walked with the Lord. God didn’t plan for man to sell out to the devil. God planned for man to walk with Him in all holiness and righteousness, to never know sickness or death. Had man not sinned, there would have never been a crucifixion; Jesus would not have needed to come to Earth to die. This entire planet Earth would have been a whole wonderful Paradise. Eden would have been the home of Adam and Eve, but their offspring would have lived outside of Eden. No doubt, at the time God made man and woman, the whole Earth was beautiful. I’m sure He didn’t stop with just a little corner called the Garden of Eden. He told Adam and Eve to be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth (Genesis 1:28), not the Garden of Eden: Replenish the Earth. In Eden man lived in perfection in the physical senses, but no more; he can’t live in perfection outside Eden without the six spiritual senses.
Although we live in the physical, we must walk with the Lord Jesus in the Spirit today. We have His blood, and we dine on that spiritual, wonderful, divine blood. We have Jesus, the divine Word, the Bread of life. With the Bread and the blood, we can walk with the Lord, talk to the Lord as one person to another.
For we walk by faith, not by sight (II Corinthians 5:7). You can’t walk by sight; you can’t walk in the physical senses and please God. Walking by faith as the Bible means is not walking by human faith, but by God’s faith.
Salvation does not come through human faith: In his own human understanding Nicodemus came to Jesus. Jesus told him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit (John 3:3-8). You must be born again. To walk with Jesus is to walk in faith. Nicodemus proved he was in the flesh. “How can I re-enter my mother’s womb?” he wanted to know. Jesus explained that a spiritual birth was necessary.
The Word explains God. Misunderstanding the Word occurs when people fail to read it with the spiritual senses, for the physical senses don’t understand a spiritual God or how to worship Him. To worship God, to please Him, is to worship Him in Spirit and in truth. Jesus, the truth, came down from Heaven to make it possible to worship with the spiritual senses. When He went away, the Holy Spirit descended, filled tabernacles of clay, dwelt with man so he could worship the Lord all the time in one channel: the Spirit of truth.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth. He has come to be our teacher, our guide. He helps us to pray, to fast, to walk in the steps of Jesus, spiritual steps that can never be erased from the sands of time, steps of power, faith, truth, love, hope, peace, longsuffering, grace, wisdom and knowledge from Heaven. Jesus is the heart of it all; He brought divine salvation, divine grace, divine healing for the physical body, divinity for the physical person.
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit (Romans 8:1). Although you are made of flesh, you walk in the Spirit when it comes to the things of God. Claim God’s promises through the Spirit. They’re spiritual promises from a spiritual God that loves you. They have been given to you in the great Spirit of the living God; and just as that Spirit will never die, His promises will never die.
If you try to cling to the promises of God with the five physical senses, you will be disappointed. You must use the spiritual senses, the extra spiritual strength, the extra spiritual power from On High along with the sanctified physical senses in order to hold on to the promises of God. With the physical senses, you cannot meet the conditions of the spiritual promises; it’s the spiritual senses that let you know you can claim all God’s promises. The spiritual senses will help you claim those promises, give you the strength and power to do it. These spiritual promises are as strong as Heaven itself. Yield to the spiritual senses.
The Spiritual Senses Are a Gift
It’s wonderful to walk after the Spirit, after the spiritual desires which are Heaven’s desires, and not walk after the world, after your physical desires. Walking in the flesh and not in the Spirit weighs you down. When you won’t use the spiritual senses, you feel condemned even when God isn’t condemning you. But there is no condemnation if you walk in the Spirit.
If you’re not hearing what the Spirit is saying, you’re not listening with spiritual hearing. The spiritual world is foreign to the physical. Only through spiritual senses can you understand the love language. In the six spiritual senses, the Lord planted His desires for His people. The spiritual senses were a gift in the beginning of the Church; and now in the last hour of the Church as the Holy Spirit is being poured out, the spiritual senses are a gift to you. You can’t buy them; there’s no need to struggle for them; just open your heart and receive them; open your heart and reach out for them. The spiritual senses are on God’s table of blessings, promises and miracles. If you’re not seeing what is on the table, you’re not looking through spiritual eyesight. The Lord spread Israel a physical table daily in the wilderness; and now in this wilderness of sin, sickness, distress, sorrow and violence, He is spreading a table for His people daily, a spiritual table of deliverance.
Good health is on the table for you, health to take the place of all your diseases. Jesus referred to healing as the children’s bread (Matthew 15:26). The bread, Jesus the healing Christ, is always available to you. The Lord never spreads a table without His Son, without the wine of the Spirit, the fullness of the Spirit, to give you power over all the powers of the devil.
Power to Trample Devils Underfoot
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8). Before He went away, Jesus let the disciples know that they would be witnesses of the Gospel to the uttermost part of the earth after they were baptized in the Holy Ghost. He gave them power to trample devils underfoot. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease (Matthew 10:1). After Pentecost the disciples would use the spiritual senses that Jesus used, the same power that healed the sick and cast out devils. This power to trample devils underfoot is for believers today as well. Why be defeated by the devil when you, through the Holy Spirit, have the power to defeat him?
Think Deep
Many of God’s people let the devil load them down daily with oppression, depression, despair, fear. Realize who you are and what you are in Christ Jesus. Know your place in the Lord and the promises of God; and as you think through the spiritual senses, you will have the thoughts of God. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned (I Corinthians 2:14). The physical senses do not go deep enough to keep the thoughts of God.
We must think deep, for the Bible tells us that God thinks deep. O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep (Psalm 92:5). Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God (I Corinthians 2:9,10). When you think deep, you go into the depths of God’s love, grace, wisdom, knowledge and greatness. Jesus in the beginning of His ministry preached the profound Sermon on the Mount. Everything we need in order to use the spiritual senses is in that one sermon. The Sermon on the Mount is as deep as the heart of God; it’s as deep as Calvary, as deep as all the promises of God. The reality of Heaven’s great measureless love is in that sermon. Every time you go back to the Sermon on the Mount, the Spirit will hand you something you hadn’t thought of before.
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus tells man how to live, what will destroy him, what will edify him, what will curse him, and what will bless him. He tells man to build his house on the Rock. Not one grain of sand must be between you and the foundation, Christ Jesus, not one grain. Just one little grain of sand in the eye can shut the whole body down; and if one grain of sand remains between you and Jesus Christ, there’s irritation; and you can’t enjoy the Lord, nor can the Lord enjoy you.
Jesus is your example, study Him; you’re to be like Him in this final hour, to talk like Him, pray like Him, live like Him. Father you always hear me, will be your theme. Putting all doubts behind you, praise the Father; hold to the spiritual promises, and dine on the Bread from Heaven.
To the five physical senses, the spiritual promises are not real. You live in the body but what about the spirit? To have a desolate wilderness in the soul is tragic because the soul can’t die. But when the Spirit of God and the blood take over, desolation disappears; the soul becomes like its Maker, and it abounds with life, life, life.
Accept the Love and Joy of the Lord
Entertaining fear of what might happen makes you vulnerable. Job of old said, The thing which I greatly feared is come upon me (Job 3:25). Why welcome the devil to afflict you by your holding on to fear? Why destroy things you treasure by fearing you are going to lose them? The joy of the Lord is your strength, a joy that will last as long as you hold to it. Joy of the Lord is eternal joy; and, as you know, there’s no end to eternity.
My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth (I John 3:18). Love in deed and in truth the way the Lord loves, and you can only love that way through the six spiritual senses. When you’re born new, the five physical senses become holy just like your soul becomes holy; your physical wisdom and knowledge now go hand in hand with the spiritual senses of wisdom and knowledge. Your five physical senses re-created and made new, you are transformed into a new creation, into a new man, into a new woman. Jesus, the second Adam, made it possible. The first Adam had spiritual perfection, but lost it; but the second Adam, Jesus, bought it all back, restored it. Thank God for the second Adam, I say! The five physical senses must become new and kept uncontaminated; and Jesus made it possible through His shed blood.
The five physical senses in Eden were pure and holy like God Himself. God gave man nothing unclean, nothing unholy; He gave him no evil thoughts. But all those happy thoughts that man lost in the fall would take thousands of years before they could be regained, thousands of years before man’s fellowship with God would come back in perfection. It would take Jesus to bring that change. The blood of animals couldn’t bring about that transformation: the many millions of gallons of blood used in Old Testament days didn’t work; man’s physical senses were still contaminated. We had to be made new through divine blood; it could be no other way. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (II Corinthians 5:17).
Pray in the Spiritual Senses
Ephesians 6:18, Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit: Pray with the six spiritual senses. If you’re not getting answers to prayer, if prayer is drudgery, a heartbreak, a disappointment, a foreign language to you, then you’re praying only in the five physical senses that are not really blessed and anointed. Because you don’t realize you’re actually in the presence of God, you don’t really believe the Lord hears you; prayer isn’t real to you—and prayer must be real.
Prayer was real to the Master; He knew His Father always heard Him. Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always (John 11:41,42). In the beginning of His ministry Jesus didn’t require the disciples to talk to Heaven as much as He talked to the Father, because He knew they didn’t have the reality of prayer; they didn’t have all they needed until they were baptized in the Holy Spirit; then they would pray just like He prayed.
Prayer is meant to be spiritual. Leave the devil outside the prayer closet, never bring him inside with you. This spiritual faith moves mountains; but unless we go into the prayer chamber using the spiritual senses and meet God the Father, God the Son in reality knowing the Holy Spirit is with us, we’re not going to move the mountains.
A good example of prayer that hasn’t used the spiritual senses is the following: A woman grew tired of the mountain outside her house and decided that since the Bible said prayer would take away mountains, she would get rid of it that way. She went into her prayer closet and began to call up Heaven. Lord, you said you would do it! Then she went back, looked out the window. “Just as I expected!” she exclaimed. “It’s still there!”
That’s the way it is with a lot of people. They run to their prayer closet and ask God to move a mountain. “Oh, Lord you said it; you said it! Oh, God help me to believe it! Help me to believe it! Oh, God, Oh God, Oh God!” Then they throw their window open, look out and say, “Just as I expected, it’s still there. It didn’t move at all.”
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith (Mark 11:23). If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you (Matthew 17:20). Real faith moves the mountains of sickness, disease, despair, oppression and depression. It’s not the mountains of dirt and rocks that you need moved, but the mountains of bondage the devil has walled you in with. Bondages are creations of the devil, not God. Recognize what has you bound, and walk away from it through the power in the blood of Jesus. Christ is the one who gives you the strength to do it. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13).
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). God has form, yet He’s Spirit. Worship Him in Spirit and in truth because all His blessings are made up of Spirit and truth. The Word of God is spiritually written by the Spirit of God, and it is discerned through the Spirit only. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost (II Peter 1:21). If you read the Bible with the understanding of the five physical senses alone, you won’t realize you’re holding Jesus, holding all the hope, faith, strength, power, and healing you need. To the spiritual senses, the Bible is to be God’s holiness, righteousness, strength, and greatness. When you pick up that Book, you have God; for you can’t separate God from His Word. Handling the Word using the spiritual senses, you’re aware that you have the Word; you have Emmanuel, God with us. You don’t need to search for God or the things of God when you use the spiritual senses; you know you have them.
The five physical senses standing alone will give you fog, a good thick fog. Man had lived in the fog for thousands of years, and the only thing that could penetrate the fog was the Gospel light. You can see as God sees when you look through this Gospel with the six spiritual senses.
The tree of life is on the inside of you, under you and in you, too. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me (Galatians 2:20). It’s not I that liveth but the tree of life liveth in me, Christ Jesus. Living in and under the tree of life, you have all its benefits.
With His Stripes We Are Healed
Why should you suffer deaths when the Lord wants to heal you? It’s God’s will to heal your body, to give it life. Since you have life through Jesus Christ, why not believe it’s God’s will to heal you? Why not be made whole all over? When Jesus came to me years ago, when I was in an awful condition, close to death, He made me whole all over. He took all my sickness away just as He had taken all my sins away when I received salvation at age eighteen. He forgave my sins, and I left them all with Him. When I was healed; I left all my afflictions with Him. God wants to heal you all over, to take away all sicknesses and diseases. Leave them all with Him.
He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Jesus is your sin-bearer, your sickness-bearer. He’s just as powerful in bearing your sicknesses as He is in bearing your sins. With His blood stripes—spiritual blood—you are healed. Everything against God’s will that you put under the blood and leave there is destroyed. It’s not God’s will for you to be sick. Love doesn’t want anybody to be sick.
After Pentecost, the Church at last was praying in perfection. They were praying in the Spirit of love, grace, wisdom and knowledge. Heaven had come down to them, and they were using what was available to them through the spiritual senses and the five physical senses made holy. People were delivered, born completely new because it was the pouring-out time.
Now once again it is the pouring-out time. By the multitudes throughout the world, people will come—and are coming—to the Lord in the crusades and being delivered. The Lord is putting His salvation, miracles and healings on the table for them, giving them strength and power like He gave in the beginning of the Church.
Wait in Patience
Jesus said, I am the door ( John10:9). I am the door to Heaven, I am it. Come through me. If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature (II Corinthians 5:17). Right though the Jesus-door you go into all God’s promises. You’ve looked too long at the promises of God unfulfilled; now look at them in fulfillment; there is a drastic difference. Through your spiritual senses only can you see God’s promises in fulfillment. When you’ve done all, when you qualify for the fulfillment of the promise; then you wait until it’s fulfilled.
We’ve missed the fulfillment of God’s promises many times, became discouraged. We’ve thought we’ve done everything God said to do, lived holy before Him, and the promise wasn’t fulfilled. But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it (Romans 8:25). The Bible tells us to wait…wait for the fulfillment of the promise.
How do you wait? You wait patiently through the spiritual senses. For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise (Hebrews 6:13-15). God’s promises are spiritual, the fulfillment is spiritual. When you pray through the spiritual eye of faith you begin to see the fulfillment of the promises because God promised, and God cannot lie. You walk out of the prayer room with your head in heavenly bliss, assured that your petitions will be answered. God said so, and you turn it all over to God.
Jesus tells us, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them (Mark 11:24). Believe your physical senses? No, absolutely not! Believe with the spiritual faith of God. Faith is a gift from God. The Bible says, God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). Everyone is given a measure of faith, divine faith not physical faith. It took divine faith to get you to Mount Calvary; it took divine faith to use the divine spiritual blood to wash away all your sins so the Lord could make you new. Jesus said, All things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23). Only believe! All things are possible—all things not just a few things. What kind of faith does that take? God faith. For with God all things are possible (Mark 10:27).
Everything is possible with God because of His faith. In His faith is all the strength needed to perform anything. Man, not the devil is the one who has tied the hands of God by unbelief.
God Will Restore
God will restore as you walk with Him in the spiritual senses. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you (Joel 2:25). I will restore, I will restore! Let these words go deep within your innermost being. I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten.
Restored to that spiritual greatness of Eden, the Early Church was in the will of God, and God made an Eden in their hearts. Through the blood of Jesus, man was a new creation; the spiritual ground had become fertile, and now the nine fruits of the Spirit were being produced in a perfect way. But then the Early Church lost the spiritual senses, lost the spiritual fruits. The cankerworm, the palmerworm, all those destructive worms came eating, eating away the power of God in the Early Church. Suddenly people thought they didn’t need the baptism of the Holy Ghost, didn’t need to speak with tongues; tongues was no longer thought to be the initial evidence of the Holy Ghost’s baptism. They decided the Lord didn’t mean what He said when He commanded His followers to receive the Holy Ghost. Now they decided that the Holy Ghost was just for the disciples and apostles of the past. The worms kept eating away. Suddenly the Church didn’t believe in miracles any longer; miracles were gone; the sanctified life was gone; holy living and salvation soon followed. The worms kept eating until they reached total false doctrine, and then fig leaf religion came back into style just like in the Garden of Eden.
Fig leaf religion was born in Eden. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons (Genesis 3:7). After man first sinned, fig leaves were used in a pitiful attempt to cover up their sin. Today more people have fig leaf religion than those who have Heaven’s salvation. The world church is filled with fig leaf religion. The worms didn’t eat the fig leaves. No, it was the grace of God that was destroyed, eaten away, the perfect plan of God for man.
The Gospel light almost went out. People were not receiving power from On High anymore. It’s hard to tell how many years had passed in which not one person would receive the in-filling of the Spirit. Without power from On High, it’s no wonder the church went into darkness, into the night. But when God makes a promise He keeps it, and He promised to restore. When? In the latter days.
God is restoring the outpouring of the Holy Spirit now in our day just before the Tribulation Period when the sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come (Joel 2:31). The sun becoming dark, the moon turning into blood will soon come to pass. We’re right to the border line now; the Tribulation Period is just ahead. Before that period of great tribulation, however, we have Rapture ground as a safety zone, a place where we will be caught up at Jesus’ second coming. Thank God for Heaven’s rescue! Our spiritual senses tell us daily: Jesus is coming! Listen to what the Spirit is saying: It’s all being restored, it’s all being restored!
Live in the Acts of the Apostles; see what power from God they had, and then you’ll know what’s being restored. You have all of this greatness and so much more.
Bridle Your Tongue
Contamination, a worm of the devil eating on you, will keep you out of the Rapture, will rob you. James said, If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body (James 3:2). If you don’t offend in word, you’re perfect in His love. But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison (James 3:8). It takes the Holy Spirit, the blood of Jesus Christ to tame the tongue. When the tongue is tamed, the whole body is under control, according to the Word of God. But regardless of how much you pray, fast, and attend church, if you don’t yield your tongue to the Holy Spirit, the love language is not yours. Everyone who makes the Rapture will speak one language, the love language.
Using human justification to excuse yourself for what you say and do won’t work. You cannot justify yourself, man cannot justify you; it’s God who justifies you by your words. Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned (Matthew 12:36,37). We are justified by our words or we are condemned by our words, the Bible declares it. We must be careful of every word we speak in this final hour because we will have to face God for them, not man.
Yield to the Power of God
You have power over those destructive worms that Joel told about, power to keep them from destroying any of the things of God, the experiences of God that you have. Yield to the Spirit and the power of God, and gain the victory over them.
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely (Revelation 22:17). Whosoever will, let him come; whosoever will can measure up; whosoever will can get ready to go up. God help us to know what’s on the table, God help us to know that we have it all restored to us now; not tomorrow; not later, we have it now! It’s here, it’s restored, thank God!
Restored, restored, let this be music on the inside of you! Delight yourself in the Lord thy God; delight yourself in the holiness of God; delight yourself in the purity of God. All that was lost will be restored! Thank God the Spirit of the living God is being poured out like mighty rivers through the dedication, consecration of the Bride of Christ just as Jesus said in John 7:38: He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Remember, the glorious power in the Early Church that was lost has been restored. Use it, oh Bride of Christ! Use it and take the Gospel to the whole world and bring back the King—King Jesus!
