If you are a true child of God and living the life of God, you don’t have to prove anything to any man or devil concerning your walk with the Lord. Just live the life God wants you to, and that will be proof enough. When people see Jesus in you, they will know you are different.

Some people will say, “If you are a Christian, prove it.” But that is devil talk; and you don’t have to prove anything to them, not even if it is your companion or a member of your family. Just ignore them and let God deal with them.

Don’t waste time talking to the devil or to those he uses to hinder you from living the life of God. Satan loves to get your attention so you will spend time debating with him instead of redeeming your time for the Lord. That is why you must always be on guard, and never listen to him.

Whenever you try to prove to the devil that you have the Lord in your life, you will be in trouble. You must always ignore that Satan spirit and speak the Word to him just like Jesus did when the devil came to tempt Him in the wilderness. And when the tempter came to him [Jesus], he [the devil] said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he [Jesus] answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:3,4). Jesus put the devil in his place, but Satan wouldn’t quit. And [the devil] saith unto him [Jesus], If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God (Matthew 4:6,7).

The devil went after Jesus because he knew that if he could get Jesus to sell His soul, the plan of redemption would never take place; but Jesus had a mind that was girded with the truth, and the devil has no power over the truth.

You too must keep God’s truth in your mind so you can defeat the devil and live the life the Lord wants you to live. The devil will do anything he can to get your attention so he can feed you fear and doubt, so you must use the truth in the Word against the devil just like Jesus did. The Word has all power, and it will defeat the devil every time. Jesus was the Word made flesh; and He said, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth (Matthew 28:18).

Take No Time with the Devil

The devil will use any tactic he can to make you think you have to prove yourself to him because he wants you to waste your time doing that rather than living the life of God. Satan came against Jesus again and again, so he will come after you, too. A group of Jews who were coming against Jesus asked Him, Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself (John 8:53)? The devil will send people to accuse you of pretending to be someone you are not, too, so don’t get into conversations with anyone who makes false accusations because that is the devil talking.

The devil constantly used those who were supposed to be religious leaders to come against Jesus. And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he [Jesus] taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders, And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority (Luke 20:1,2)?

Jesus knew exactly what they were doing, so He answered them by asking a question of His own that they could not answer. And he [Jesus] answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me: The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men (Luke 20:3,4)? Jesus never tried to prove anything to hypocrites.

At other times, Jesus would tell those the devil sent His way what He thought of them; and then He would walk away. The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him [Jesus] that he would shew them a sign from heaven. He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas [Jonah]. And he left them, and departed (Matthew 16:1-4).

The Devil Never Stops

The devil sent accusers to torment Jesus even when He was dying on the Cross; but still, Jesus never attempted to prove anything to them. The thief hanging on the cross to the left of Jesus said, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us (Luke 23:39). That thief was so close to the very Son of God, but it doesn’t matter how close people are to Jesus. If they don’t accept Him, they still will not be saved.

Jewish rulers were standing around the Cross ridiculing Jesus and saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God (Luke 23:35). If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God (Matthew 27:42,43). Those hypocrites didn’t believe Jesus even when He was performing all the miracles, so they would not have believed Him then either.

The soldiers mocked Jesus as well, and even the crowd that had gathered could not keep quiet. And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads, And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross (Matthew 27:39,40). That accusation was not even true because when Jesus said, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up (John 2:19), He was talking about His body, the temple of the Holy Ghost.

Jesus was in such agony on the Cross that it would have been easy for Him to have come down and shown all those people who He really was, but He endured the Cross and lived the life until the very end. The devil was behind all of those accusers, and he was trying to bring the plan of redemption to a halt; but it didn’t work. It was Jesus’ life and death that proved who He really was, and He made it possible for all people to live the life He had lived...if they will just give Him their heart. Jesus never failed the Father one time, and He is our perfect example.

The Battle Belongs to God

Young David loved the Lord, and he lived the life of God. When the Philistines were battling against the Israelites, David trusted in God and His power to defeat the giant Goliath.

When David first arrived at the battlefield, he asked, For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God (I Samuel 17:26)? David was full of faith, but David’s older brother, Eliab, was not; and the devil used him to come against David. And Eliab’s anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep [He probably had a few thousand.] in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle. And he [David] turned from him toward another, and spake after the same manner (I Samuel 17:28,30).

Eliab was jealous of his little brother’s faith in God, so he wanted to make him look bad; but David just turned from his brother and went on to do the will of God, and you must turn from your accusers as well.

Because David lived the life of God, he knew the battle was the Lord’s; and he boldly declared to the Philistines, And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’s, and he will give you into our hands (I Samuel 17:47).

Goliath was insulted because he had asked the Israelites to send him a man, and they sent young David; but the Lord didn’t need to send a man. God had a boy who was living the life, obedient and ready to be used. All David needed was God and his sling shot. And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth. So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him (I Samuel 17:48-50).

Like David, you have to live the life of God knowing that your battles are the Lord’s; and the victories are yours. The Bible says, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s (II Chronicles 20:15).

God will fight the battles for His children. Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts (Zechariah 4:6). When the battle is raging all around you, hear the Lord saying, Be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10). Then turn the battle over to the Lord through divine faith.

God Has All Power

When you live the life of God, He will be on your side. Then the whole world could come against you, and it would make no difference. Paul said, What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us (Romans 8:31)?

The Lord will make you a conqueror. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us (Romans 8:37). God will give you all the power you need to conquer every devil that comes against you, and you will still have plenty of power left to conquer even more.

Paul knew what God’s power could do in his life. He said, For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38,39).

God’s power is greater than any power you will find on Earth. Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world (I John 4:4). Therefore, when God is on your side, no man or devil can destroy you. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me (Psalm 118:6)?

Isaiah the prophet wrote, For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint [firm], and I know that I shall not be ashamed (Isaiah 50:7). You will never be ashamed when you trust in God because He never fails. He will destroy all your enemies. Then you can say, In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name forever. Selah (Psalm 44:8).

Suffering for Christ’s Sake

In the life of God, there will be persecution. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution (II Timothy 3:12). Even the very Son of God had to suffer. Though he [Jesus] were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him (Hebrews 5:8,9). You will have to suffer to become obedient, too, and those sufferings will make you perfect before God.

Now, when you are suffering, it doesn’t mean you’re failing; it means you are learning the conflicts of interest between the flesh and the Holy Ghost. They are contrary one to another, so there will be times of suffering in the flesh as you learn to yield to divinity; but if you endure those sufferings, you will come forth as gold. That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ (I Peter 1:7).

Always remember that no matter what you have to suffer, it will only be for a while; so don’t allow questions and confusion to creep in. The Bible says, For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints (I Corinthians 14:33). God does not want any confusion in the midst of His people; He wants them to have peace.

Jesus said, Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God (Matthew 5:9). He also said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27). The peace the Lord gives is not of the world; it is divine, and there is no fear in that kind of peace.

Give God Your Burdens

To live the life of God, you must be settled in the faith. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you (I Peter 5:10). To be settled is to be at peace; and the Bible says, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee (Isaiah 26:3).

To be settled and at peace, you have to learn Christ and what His job is in your life. You must learn which burdens are His to carry and which ones are yours. He will always carry the heavier burdens as long as you humble yourself and come under His yoke of love. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me [learn me]; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30). Children of God are to carry just one burden—the burden for lost souls.

You must turn everything over to God. He is the one who will take care of your burdens and your persecutors. He said, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord (Romans 12:19). But some of you wrestle and wrestle with your burdens before finally turning them over to God and finding that He is the answer. Unfortunately, there are others who never turn their burdens over to God at all.

God Is Your Strength

There are times when you will suffer because of trusting in your own strength and sufficiency. That is why you must learn that God’s grace is sufficient. The Lord told Paul, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities [not sickness or disease], in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong (II Corinthians 12:9,10).

God will strengthen you for any task He asks you to do. David said, God is my strength and power: And he maketh my way perfect. He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet: and setteth me upon my high places (II Samuel 22:33,34). It doesn’t matter how weak you may feel; when the Lord’s power comes upon you, it will make you strong. Then you can say, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13).

The Psalmist said, Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive [strengthen and renew] me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me (Psalm 138:7).

The Lord can strengthen you in many ways. He can even send an angel to strengthen you just like He did for Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him (Luke 22:43). Jesus recognized that angel of strength, and you must, too, if you want angel help.

You must depend on God for everything you need. And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God (II Corinthians 3:4,5).

Let God Establish You

There will be times when you will suffer for trying to do your own works to please the Lord and find favor with Him. That is why you have to learn Jesus and know that He is the one who will establish you in the faith as you yield to Him with a willing heart and mind. Paul said, Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen (Hebrews 13:20,21).

You will suffer if you trust in your own thoughts and understanding; but when you learn to acknowledge the Lord in all your ways, you can live the life of God. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:5,6).

God has given His children everything they need; so if you suffer because of failing to use all the divinity God has made available to you, it is your own fault. Peter tells you that you can add to your spirit whatever you are lacking. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance [self-control]; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (II Peter 1:5-8).

Many Reject the Truth

Many people simply don’t want to live the life of God. They are arrogant and think there is nothing wrong with fulfilling the desires of the flesh and doing what they want to do. People were like that in Jeremiah’s day; and he said, I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle (Jeremiah 8:6).

People live life as though there is nothing wrong with sinning, but they are in bondage and don’t know it. Only the truth can set men free. And ye shall know [and understand] the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). However, instead of accepting truth, many people reject it because it cramps their lifestyle. They think God should make allowances for certain desires of the flesh and ungodly ways because they want to do what they want.

God’s truth sheds light in darkness, but people do not want that light to shine on their path. Jesus encountered people like that; and He said, And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil (John 3:19).

God’s Word is the infallible truth, and it is powerful. It will accomplish what it was sent forth to do. The Lord said, So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it (Isaiah 55:11).,

Don’t Ruin Your Children

If you are living your life in God’s truth, you do not have to apologize to anyone for forsaking all to follow Jesus. He said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting (Luke 18:29,30).

Parents, you must teach your children to follow Jesus and live the life of God. The Bible lays out the proper love discipline you should give them, and you must not ignore it. He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes (Proverbs 13:24). Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him (Proverbs 22:15). The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame (Proverbs 29:15).

Don’t ever let your children make you second-guess or stop serving godly discipline, and mothers and fathers should never be divided about the discipline they give. If you are not sure of how to take care of a certain situation with your children, the Bible says you can ask for wisdom. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him (James 1:5). Through divine love and faith, you can give discipline the right way and be a good, godly example of what it means to be a part of the family of God.

Never Compromise

You will never live the life of God in this final deceiving and compromising hour unless you stand for truth, and you must never allow the false praises of man to cause you to compromise. The scribes and Pharisees were always trying to trick Jesus into compromising, but He never did. And they send unto him [Jesus] certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words. And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not (Mark 12:13,14)?

Those Pharisees said some flattering things about Jesus, but their motive was to trick Him into saying something He should not. However, Jesus didn’t fall for it, and He confounded them with His answer. But he [Jesus], knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it. And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar’s. And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s. And they marvelled at him (Mark 12:15-17).

The three Hebrew boys never compromised the truth. The king wanted them to bow down and worship an idol image; and he told them that if they did not, he would throw them into a fiery furnace. Nevertheless, the boys were not scared by the king’s threats. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up (Daniel 3:16-18).

When you stand for God, He will stand for you; and that is what happened with the Hebrew boys. The King was furious when they refused to bow to the image, so he commanded that the furnace be heated seven times hotter than it had ever been heated before; and he threw the boys in. And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God (Daniel 3:23-25).

Those boys stood strong even though they were not filled with the Holy Ghost. True children of God today are baptized with the same power of the Spirit Jesus was baptized with, so God expects us to stand any kind of test.

Never Be Intimidated by Satan

After receiving the Holy Ghost, the disciples lived the life of God; and they did not compromise even when they were brought before the Jewish council for preaching the truth. And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s [Jesus’] blood upon us [although it was already upon them]. Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men (Acts 5:27-29).

Stephen is another great example of how to live the life of God. Stephen, [was] a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost (Acts 6:5). Stephen spoke the truth with such great power that those who heard him could not resist the truth.

The rulers in the synagogue didn’t want the truth Stephen preached to be spread abroad, so they set up false witnesses against him. And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he [Stephen] spake. And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council, And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law (Acts 6:10,12,13).

Stephen was then stoned to death, but the life he lived for God will be a witness for eternity.

Hold Nothing Back

When you love truth, and you have that truth bubbling up and down in your soul through the power of the Holy Ghost, you will live the life of God. You will want to obey Him and please Him more than you want to please people, and you will be willing to lay down your life for Him.

You will seek to have the Lord’s divine nature and be just like Him. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption [the awful things] that is in the world through lust (II Peter 1:4).

Give your life completely to God in this final hour. Never compromise living the life the Lord wants you to live, and always glorify the God who made you. Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you (I Samuel 12:24).

Jesus lived the life of God the entire time He was on Earth, and then He gave His life for us so we could once again be like Him. For he [God] hath made him [Jesus] to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (II Corinthians 5:21).

We don’t know how much time we have left on this Earth, but we do know that the Lord could come at any time. That is why we have to hurry to get the Lord’s work done, and the Holy Spirit is always pulling on us to do that.

The Holy Spirit will give you the strength you need for anything the Lord wants you to do, and He makes you ready to help a soul at any time. You don’t know when souls will cross your path; but when they do, you may have only a few minutes to get them saved, so you must always be ready. There are souls marked for each child of God to win, and you must never want to miss one that is marked for you.

No Life without Salvation,

Most people today do not live the life of God; and because of that, our civilization is becoming more and more ungodly every day. The Bible says, Judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter (Isaiah 59:14).

The whole truth is not even being preached in most pulpits today; and many preachers do not teach living free from sin when the Bible plainly says, The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:4). Not one sin will ever get into Heaven.

You can live the sin-free life God wants you to live, but you must give your heart to the Lord. The Bible says, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9).

If you are a sinner or a backslider, say this prayer right now: Oh, God, I am in darkness, but I know I have a measure of faith; and I am going to use it to come to the light. You said if I would confess my sins, you would forgive me of my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I am confessing right now with godly sorrow. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in, Jesus! If you believe that, He has come; and He is yours!

Receive Life for Your Body

Now that your heart has been made new, your body can also be made new through divine faith. I have prayed for thousands of people who have been delivered of all kinds of deadly diseases, and you can be delivered, too.

Lord, I bring the people to you. Heal them today and make them whole in the blood name of Jesus. I come against the spirits of AIDS, HIV, cancer, diabetes, heart trouble, deafness, blindness and all other diseases and afflictions. Heal! in the all-powerful, blood-name of Jesus. Heal!

No disease can stand before the power in the blood of Jesus. It brings healing from Heaven, so be thou made well; and always remember to give God all the glory. I am not the healer; Jesus is the healer. I am just His faith witness, and He wants to make as many witnesses as He possibly can. Write and let us know what the Lord has done for you today, and we will rejoice with you.

Always live the life of God and share that life with others. Then we can all meet in the air when Jesus comes. God bless you.
