Many people have never learned to face life, and they let every little thing get them down. They become discouraged when they shouldn’t be, and they allow depression and oppression to take them over. The Bible tells us that all of this comes from the devil. God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him (Acts 10:38).

Discouragement is the tool the devil uses to get inside people and grind them down. Children of God cannot be possessed by the devil, but they can be oppressed. You must learn to identify the things the devil uses to get you down and keep you there, and that will help you to become stronger in the Lord. If you’re not strong in Him, then you haven’t learned to face life.

If you’re always fighting depression, you’ll be unhappy because you’re living by your feelings and not by divine faith as the Bible tells us to. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17). We are to live from faith to faith; but when you drop from faith into feelings, you’re asking for doubt, oppression and depression. You’re going from the strength of faith to weakness, from joy to unhappiness and from peace to distress. You can’t allow this.

The Bible says, God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). When you use that measure of faith, you’ll receive another; and as you use that measure, you’ll receive another. The more faith you receive, the more you will be able to stand up against the devil and defeat him.

Learn Obedience

The devil wants you to think about hate instead of love, despair instead of gladness, unhappiness instead of happiness and weakness instead of strength. The devil doesn’t want you to think about anything good; but the Lord said, Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (II Corinthians 10:5).

Jesus learned obedience, and you have to learn it, too. Though he [Jesus] were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered (Hebrews 5:8). If you don’t live according to the Word, the devil will deceive you and make you think you’re obedient when you’re really not. Jesus came to earth and took on the fashion of a man to show us how we could live the holy life that a child of God should live. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross (Philippians 2:8). Jesus teaches us obedience, but some Christians never learn God’s way.

Noah’s family is a great example of obedience. For 120 years, no one helped them with the ark; and no one appreciated them. They were outcasts as far as society was concerned, but they didn’t let that bother them. They had the love of God, the faith of God and the great plan of God that would save their whole family; so they were greatly blessed!

You must learn that God’s people are the happiest people in the world because only divinity has the power to make a person truly happy. No one was more shocked than I was at the joy God gave me when He saved me. The Lord caught me up into His arms of great love, and I was too happy to care about anything other than enjoying Him. He poured tubs of honey on me, and I don’t know how anyone could have been any happier than I was. I had the joy that Peter spoke about. Ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory (I Peter 1:8).

Jesus Is the Way

Jesus came and brought the new and living way. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh (Hebrews 10:19,20). Some of you have never learned this new and living way, and you continue to live the old way rather than the Jesus love-way. Jesus told us, Strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it (Matthew 7:14). On this narrow road, you’ll find all the strength and love you need; and that road is there for everyone to follow.

Jesus told us that we must build on the rock. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it (Matthew 7:24-27). You can’t have one grain of sand between you and your Lord Jesus Christ because He’s your foundation.

Choose Life

Jesus brought life. I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). Adam and Eve had this life in Eden, and it was God’s will for them to always have it. There was no Adamic nature because neither of them knew what it was like to sin or not to have fellowship with God. They didn’t know what darkness was because they were made holy through the divine blood that was flowing in their veins. God intended for them to stay young and live forever in a houses of clay through divine blood, and He planned for them to always have fellowship with Him.

If Adam and Eve had obeyed the Lord, He eventually would have removed the tree of death from the Garden. God put that tree of death in Eden to begin with because He didn’t want man and woman to be like robots; He wanted them to choose to serve Him. He made them intelligent and gave them a miniature brain like His master brain. God gave Adam divine knowledge, and He never planned for man to teach each other; God was to be man’s only teacher. There would have been no need for schools or universities because all knowledge would have come from Heaven.

Use Godly Wisdom

Adam used the knowledge he was given to name all of the animals. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof (Genesis 2:19). I’m fascinated by God’s wisdom and knowledge. Jesus brought it all to us, and then He showed us how to use it.

Do you use godly wisdom? God’s wisdom is great and wonderful in every way, and we must learn it. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy (James 3:17). We hinder God and His love by using poor wisdom, and it grieves the Holy Spirit.

Paul had divine wisdom and knowledge, and this enabled him to say, I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content (Philippians 4:11). But some of you haven’t learned to be content in the Lord. You’re always restless, and you let disappointments get you down. Paul had plenty of disappointments; but after he found Jesus, he never let them get him down again. You’re going to meet disappointments in this life, but you have to learn how to survive them through Jesus Christ; He’s our example. Jesus met the devil head-on in the wilderness, and you must meet those disappointments head-on with divine faith and strength.

Wear the Armor of God

God’s faith and strength will give you courage, but you must wear the whole armor of God. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:10,11). The Lord gives us what we need to defeat the devil, but we have to use it. Some Christians are always waiting for God to defeat the devil for them when He has given them all they need to defeat him themselves. With God’s armor, we can tear down the strongholds of the devil. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds (II Corinthians 10:4).

God didn’t say He would tear the walls down; He said we were to tear them down, and we can only do this by putting on the whole armor of God. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). You can’t ignore one piece of this armor and expect to have victory; but some people can’t even manage to keep the helmet of salvation working for them, and that’s the only part of the armor that protects our minds and enables us to think like God thinks.

Take God’s Thoughts

The Bible tells us to think deep with God’s thoughts. O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep (Psalm 92:5). For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:9). What do you think about? You can’t depend on your own flimsy theories or thoughts; you have to take the thoughts of God.

The Holy Spirit came and set up His abode on the inside of us to give us the very thoughts of God and to direct our steps onto God’s high road, but some of you won’t stay on that high road. You let the devil give you thoughts and convince you that they came from the Lord; then you allow those thoughts to torment you. If you think God’s thoughts, they’re more powerful than the devil’s thoughts; and His good thoughts will get rid of all the bad ones.

God’s thoughts will bring you into the seven Spirits of God—love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness and faith. Jesus let us know in the book of Revelation that He was the One who came with the seven Spirits of God. John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne (Revelation 1:4). Jesus brought the seven Spirits with Him; and as very man, He used all of them to be an overcomer. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33).

Be a Light to the World

Jesus brought overcoming faith. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2). You have to keep looking to Jesus or the devil will make you moody. The Bible doesn’t tell anybody to live in moods; it says to live by faith.

No one wants to be around a moody person. I like people to be the same no matter what time of day it is or when I see them. Children of God are supposed to be the light of the world. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven (Matthew 5:14-16).

God’s light will bring you into His will; but until you learn His will, you won’t fully understand how to fast and pray as Jesus did. He prayed knowing that His Father always heard Him. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always (John 11:41,42). I say this again and again, and I believe it; but some people can’t believe that God always hears them because they haven’t learned to trust Him. I learned to trust Him through much sorrow and heartache, and now I’m willing to live or die for His name’s sake.

Get Rid of Fear

Jesus made no room for doubt, and we shouldn’t either. Doubt breeds fear, and fear will strangle the very life out of you. It will take the joy out of your heart and make you feel hopeless and helpless.

Fear comes to everyone, but you must learn how to get rid of it. How?—Through love. The Bible says, There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear (I John 4:18). Some of you don’t use the divine love that’s in your heart, and you won’t let the Holy Ghost flush your mind of everything that’s unlike God. When He flushes all fear out with divine blood-love, it can’t stay. You don’t have to pray, “God, deliver me from fear!” If you have faith in Him, the Holy Spirit will use the perfect love of God in your heart to flush that fear right out.

The devil brings people into bondage with fear, but I don’t want the devil’s bondage. When fear comes, I know I don’t have to have it; so I get rid of it. The Lord tells us not to fear but to trust, so why should we be afraid? For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (II Timothy 1:7).

With a sound mind, you can learn about the divine blood and how to use it. Through prayers and much fasting, I came into the reality of the blood and what it will do. I came into the reality of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. I came into the reality of the soon coming of the Lord and the knowledge that one soul is so valuable to God that it’s worth more than all the wealth of the world. The Lord said, What shall a man give in exchange for his soul (Mark 8:37)?

Divine Blood Delivers

The Lord also brought me into the awful reality of an eternal, damnable hell and the lake of fire. For thousands of hours, God taught me about Satan’s kingdom and devil possession so that when He was ready to send me to the world, I would have His power to deliver people.

Who would have thought that a mere human being like Ernest Angley would stand on platforms in nation after nation before thousands of people who were born in Satanism and marked by the devil? Many people who attend my crusade services are involved in witchcraft, voodoo and other kinds of devil worship. I can’t possibly lay hands on them all, but the Lord delivers them through the revelation of the divine blood He has given His humble servant.

The Lord taught me to have the people repeat, the blood, the blood, the blood until it takes over their minds; and then through the power of the Holy Ghost, it drops into their souls. When that happens, the devils flee; and the Lord will let me see them as defeated armies leaving out across those huge crowds of people. They’re being led by either the Holy Ghost or Jesus, and they can’t escape.

Just as John the Baptist saw the Holy Ghost in the form of a dove descending upon Jesus, I’ve had the privilege of seeing the Holy Ghost at work outside of the body. He hasn’t taken on the form of a person but rather one that’s box-like with legs, hands and a head; and He works in unbelievable ways. I’ve seen Him lead hundreds of devils away at one time, and then I’ve seen Him return for more. I’ve seen God’s delivering power as if it were waters of God’s grace, and it will come in like a mighty, rushing river overflowing its banks; and it covers the whole crowd of people. Then I’ve seen the Holy Ghost go down into that water and come up with devils, and I would guess that He takes them and dumps them into the pits of hell.

Jesus Destroys AIDS

It’s something to behold God at work. The Lord touches my eyes, and I’m able to see that which I couldn’t see in the human. All I know is that I see as God sees; and as He lets me look inside of people, I know their diseases. I also know things about their lives that they realize I couldn’t possibly know without God. I know how many of their family members have died with AIDS; I know exactly how long a person has had AIDS, and I even know the exact day that they became infected with the virus. Some of the AIDS victims have very little time left, but God heals them.

I remember a person who attended one of my crusade services, and they were pulling on God for a loved one at home who was dying with AIDS. The Lord revealed to me that their loved one only had a matter of minutes to live, and then He healed the person right at that moment. The Lord told the family member in attendance, “When you get home, you’ll find your loved one healed of AIDS; the person has been given life!” What a marvelous miracle! We’re documenting the AIDS miracles because they’re real.

The devil can’t heal; he can only deceive, and his miracles are fake. It takes life to bring healing; but the devil has no life, so how could he heal? The Lord told me that the time would come when people would no longer be able to fake His miracles, and that time is now. The power of God is getting so strong, and God’s miracles are so mighty that we’re approaching a time likened to that of Moses. Pharaoh’s magicians couldn’t fake God’s miracles, and they had to confess that they came from the finger of God. People have to learn that the devil can’t heal, save or baptize in the Holy Ghost; he can’t live holy or tell the truth. Jesus said that the devil is the father of lies. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it (John 8:44).

God Brings Good

When troubles come, you need to remember that all things work together for your good. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). If you will learn this truth, it will give you joy unspeakable like Jesus had. Holy children of God are called according to the purpose of God, called to do the work of the Lord, called to walk in the footsteps of Jesus and in the divine will of God. Then, no matter what comes their way or what people and the devil try to do to them, everything will work out for their good. God will make sure of that because He’s going to have all the glory out of their lives. When anyone walks in the divine will of God rather than in the permissible will, God works everything for their good.

When troubles come, I don’t question God; I just go deeper with Him. When you question God, you doubt His love. I know that God loves Ernest Angley because the Bible says, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3). Am I going to believe that?—Yes. When I don’t understand something, that’s OK as long as the Lord walks with me, and I can hold His hand. I know He’s there, and I know I’ll come out of the valley no matter how deep it is because He loves me too much not to bring me out.

The Deepest Valley

The deepest valley of my life was when the Lord took my precious wife, Angel, home to be with Him. I felt like I couldn’t go on breathing without her. She gave me so much love, and then it was gone! I’d cry out to the Lord, “Jesus, love me! Lord, I can’t live without love.” Only the Lord could have put me back together again.

One day when I was down on the floor in Angel’s office weeping my heart out, I felt what seemed to be a loving human arm wrap around me and hug me tight. I don’t know whether it was Jesus or an angel of the Lord, but it gave me peace. That didn’t mean I didn’t cry anymore, but I never cried like I had been doing before that time.

A broken record had been playing over and over in my mind, “Angel is dead; Angel is gone.” It was maddening, but God’s great love had finally stopped it. With God’s love, I knew I could go on living. He’d wrap His loving arms around me and say, I am the Lord that walketh with thee. It’s hard to tell how many hundreds of times He said that to me, but it helped to keep me going. I learned that God was walking with me and that He was all I needed. I had the vision of God sending me to the world, and I knew I had to fulfill it.

Jailed for the Sake of Christ

Now, my life is completely His, and it doesn’t matter what He calls on me to suffer. When I was in Germany, I was put in jail for preaching the Word of God and praying for the sick; but the Lord was with me. After they had arrested me, they guarded me with guns and kept me up all night. At about 6:00 in the morning, they drove me to prison with armed guards sitting on each side of me as if I were an awful criminal.

When we arrived at the prison, they fingerprinted me like I was a murderer; and then the guards began taking everything away from me, including my Bible. It was the first time I’d ever faced the possibility of losing my Bible; I felt like I would die without it, and I prayed, “Oh, God, please don’t let them take my Bible!”

Well, they did take it, but then the Lord let the two men get into an argument over what I could and couldn’t keep. While they argued, I slowly and prayerfully started to ease my hand toward my Bible praying, “God, don’t let them notice!” Once I had it, I prayed, “God, don’t let them see it”; and the Lord covered that Bible with His glory so that they never did.

They took me on to a dingy, old cell with double-barred windows and a heavy, steel door. Later, I found out that Jews had been kept there during World War II until they were put to death. As I sat in that little cell, I knew I was in God’s will. The glory of the Lord came down from Heaven, and God’s light shined upon me. I praised and glorified the Lord out loud, and at times I would see an eyeball peeping through the keyhole. Maybe they thought I’d lost my mind, but that wasn’t so. God’s light was shining down, and I was glorifying Him.

The Lord had told me that He would send judgment; and after I was released and on my way to another country, He definitely did. The record books indicate that Germany was hit with the third worst storm ever. The hail was so large that it damaged 22 big jets, destroyed 100 small planes and shattered nearly 2000 windowpanes at the airport after we had left. People said that the hailstones were as big as grapefruit, and it was Germany’s biggest cleanup job since World War II.

Not long after that, a couple wrote me and said they had found Jesus through what I had suffered. If all I had gone through was only for those two souls, it would have been worth it; but there have been many more souls since then.

Take Your Burdens to the Lord

Jesus said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee (Hebrews 13:5). I have learned Jesus, and I’m ready for anything. I know that He died for me and that my salvation will stand against anything the devil has to offer. I’ve learned where to take my burdens, but many people don’t know what to do with theirs. They try to unload them on other people, and that’s no good. I don’t put my burdens on others; I give them to the Lord. I hear His voice saying, Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:29,30).

I have learned that the Bible has a louder voice than any other on planet Earth, and I listen to what the Spirit is saying. I have learned God’s will and how to yield to the Holy Ghost; but some of you haven’t learned it, saith the Lord. You yield to your own spirit and other human spirits, and they make you weak. You have to be drawn by the Holy Spirit to come to God in the first place, and you have to always lift Him up. No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day (John 6:44).

Keep Your Eyes on God

Some people just won’t face life; but you have to face it moment by moment, one day at a time and keep your eyes on God. Don’t scramble your life around and keep yourself in turmoil. Train yourself to not worry because faith is not worry, and worry is not faith. The Bible tells us not to be anxious for anything but that we should give glory and praises unto the Lord.

Never grumble or complain. Jesus never did, and He came from Heaven to show us how to live. He brought all the divinity we will ever need to give us an abundant life; but regardless of how the Lord blesses some people, they are forever complaining. Be careful because you can be a complainer and not realize it.

You must yield to the things of God to have a good life. Prayer, fasting and living in the Word of God will bring abundant, glorious living. You can’t let anything get you down because Jesus is your victory, so keep your eyes on Him. He is your love, faith and strength.

Don’t listen to people who look down and talk down. Remember to face life like Jesus did and keep both of your hands in His. Accept no discouragement and shout, “All is well!” because you have faith in Jehovah God, the God of all flesh. Be obedient to the whole Word of God and expect good things in your life. The key to having happiness in Jesus is being obedient in all things.

Live in the perfect will of God and the peace that passes all understanding will be yours. Count your blessings, not your troubles. Trouble comes to everyone, but some know how to handle it better than others. You must decide that you have Jesus for the problem and then put it in His loving hands. Remember that He said, “Bring your burdens to me, and I will take them and give you rest.” The name is Jesus, and He loves you.

You Must Have the Holy Ghost

We can only come up higher through the power of the Holy Ghost, but many churches reject the Holy Ghost today. The Lord told me that this time would come—that people and even preachers would blaspheme against the Holy Ghost and fall away from God—and you can see it happening everywhere now. Just look at all the dead churches. One woman told me that she had been attending a Pentecostal church for years, but she had never seen one person pray through to the Holy Ghost. I couldn’t pastor a church like that because I’m full of the Holy Ghost, and I stand for Him.

I don’t believe a person can remain saved in this hour and fight against the Holy Ghost baptism. The Bible tells us that Jesus was anointed by the Holy Ghost when He was on earth. God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power (Acts 10:38).

Only through the power of the Holy Ghost can you rejoice in the Lord and say, For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth (Job 19:25). No one will make the Rapture without the Holy Ghost baptism.

Only through the Holy Ghost can you know and understand divinity. How much do you really know about God? How much of the Bible do you know? How much do you know about the divine blood? You must not be satisfied with knowing only a little bit about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Paul said, I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day (II Timothy 1:12).

Jesus came so we could know Him and His ways. He came to tear down the wall of partition between man and God. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us (Ephesians 2:14). He came to bring us into Eden with all its benefits and all its wonderful fruits. The divine fruits are eternal, spiritual fruits; and they’re much greater than any physical fruits of nature.

Pray God’s Way

You have to learn to meet any situation with God; and you can do that by praying until your prayers go through and things are settled. You have to put your problems under the blood and leave them there. You may say that you’ve put a certain situation in God’s hands; but if He doesn’t take care of it right away, you run back and get it. You have to stop doing that, saith the Lord. You have to trust Him, and only then can He direct all your paths. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:5,6).

You have to learn to trust the Lord; you don’t just automatically fall into it. You have to learn to trust the Lord just like you learned to walk as a child. First, you have to put on Jesus’ shoes and learn what those shoes were like. Then you have to learn what made up His footsteps, find them in the sands of time and learn to take one step at a time with Him—the love step, the faith step, the hope step and the peace step—until you’re following in all the steps of Jesus.

Some people won’t put their trust in the Lord, and they just want sympathy instead; but sympathy is a weak cop-out. When I’m sick, I don’t want sympathy; I want faith prayers and healing. But some people are always looking for sickness, either in themselves or someone else. I want to get away from such people because I’m liable to catch the attitude they have, and that would be worse than having a deadly disease. I didn’t know Christians were supposed to act like that; and if they would study the divine blood like they should, they wouldn’t act that way.

You have to realize that Jesus and the Spirit make intercession for you. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God…It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us (Romans 8:26,27,34).

The Lord Is Coming

The Resurrection of Christ could only happen through divine blood, but many of you have not learned the power of His Resurrection. You haven’t learned it to the point of understanding it, and you don’t realize that through faith you can have the same power. That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection (Philippians 3:10).

Know Jesus in the power of His Resurrection because with that power, He conquered death, hell and the grave; and you can, too. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory (I Corinthians 15:54,55)? Only with the Holy Ghost bubbling in your soul will you be ready to get out of here.

Learn to watch for the coming of Jesus; He said He would come for those who are watching for Him. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching…Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not (Luke 12:37,40).

How do you learn to watch for His coming? Jesus said that when you see all these things coming to pass, you’ll know He’s at the door. Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is (Mark 13:28-30,33).

All that has been prophesied about in the Bible is coming to pass now. Are you watching? We’re the Rapture generation; and if you’ve received the Holy Ghost, you should know that divine resurrection power is about to transform you. The Bible said it’s done according to the power that worketh within you. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us (Ephesians 3:20).

If you have any doubt, it’s because of a lack of power working in you and a lack of trust in the power of the Holy Ghost. Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world (I John 4:4). When the power of God comes on me so strong, I don’t doubt that with just a little more of it I would be transformed.

When the Rapture takes place, we’ll be changed in a twinkling of an eye. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (I Corinthians 15:51,52). This is promised by the Almighty God.

Have the Perfection of Jesus

Some people are afraid of the coming of the Lord, but why? He’s coming with great love for His own. People either have the favor of God or they don’t; they’re righteous or unrighteous, holy or unholy. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13). That’s as tall as anyone can stand in the Lord.

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said, Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48). This verse also tells us that God is our Father. Jesus came and brought the Father to us so we could be His sons and daughters. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:16,17).

As members of God’s family, you have to know what the works of God are. Jesus came to reveal the works of God and to do them, and we’re supposed to take His place. During a great divine visitation in 1954 when the Lord gave me the gift of discerning, He told me that I would have to know the Spirit of God, the spirit of man and the spirit of the devil and be able to separate them. If you will study my book The Mind of Christ, it will help you separate the spirits, too. It lists all the 141 ingredients that made up Jesus’ earth mind, and they’re willed to each one of us. The Bible says, Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5). If you don’t have the faith to fully believe that you can have the mind of Christ, then you will have many battles of the mind with no way to combat them.

Sing unto the Lord

You must learn how to make melody in your heart to the Lord. The Bible says, Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord (Ephesians 5:19). Music that glorifies the Lord and edifies our souls should be the only kind of music that our hearts enjoy when they’re full of the love, power and faith of the true and living God. But many Christians listen to things that open the door wide for the devil to walk right in. If I went around singing what some people sing, I’d be depressed, too; but when you’re full of Calvary’s deliverance for all mankind, you’ll make melody in your heart to the Lord.

Those who are alive in the Lord can really make a joyful noise unto Him. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing (Psalm 100:1,2). Let the Lord put the glory and the Spirit of the living God inside of you so you can make a joyful noise unto Him.

Those in the world say that life is what you make it, but they leave God out. The Bible says, It is not in man that walketh to direct his steps (Jeremiah 10:23). Your life really depends on how much you use divinity, and Jesus brought all the divinity we need. He also brought abundant life; and to have that, you first have to have divine joy and divine love. The Lord said that if you don’t have His love, you’re worthless. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity [love], I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity [love], I am nothing (I Corinthians 13:1,2).

God’s love includes all the power of Heaven, all the power of deliverance and all the power of gracious living. It has all the life that we need for soul, mind and body. The Lord paid a great price for us, but He wasn’t looking at what we were. He saw what we could be, and we can be all things through Jesus Christ.

No Compromise

Jesus said He came to bless and not to curse, but some people are always looking for the ax to fall. Why?—Because they have a guilty conscience. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit (Romans 8:1). If you have any condemnation, then you’re walking after the flesh.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:2). Be not conformed to this world means that you must never compromise, and you won’t when you learn God’s fruits. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance (Galatians 5:22,23). This fruit is all divine and comes straight from Heaven, but it will only grow in soil of love. Without God’s love within, we’ll never bear fruit. If we only have a little bit of His love, we’ll only have a little bit of His fruit.

Serve God’s Love

You have to learn how to serve Jesus to the lost, but you can’t do that without God’s love. You can’t separate God from His love because the Bible says, He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love (I John 4:8). Jesus had that great love, and He brought it to earth for us. Through Jesus, God’s love broke all the bondages of sin, sickness and disease and brought God’s eternal voice of freedom and liberty to the human race. Man no longer had to be afraid for the Lord to visit with him day or night. That love cry went forth, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).

You have to learn how to serve divine love and all other things that are divine. You have to serve the Lord’s personality and not yours; you have to learn how to serve His characteristics and traits rather than yours. Then you have to learn how to answer the call of God. He’s calling you to service; He has need of each one of us but not with tormented, prayerless, fastless minds.

You must learn to run God’s race. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us (Hebrews 12:1). To run this race, you have to know what is required of you. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:27). Don’t wait until you’re left behind to learn these requirements. Learn them now while you can profit from them because it will be too late to learn them after the Rapture takes place; the Lord won’t come back for a second load.

You Must Be Holy

When you’re born new, you have to learn to get acquainted with your new self. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (II Corinthians 5:17). The new you is created in righteousness and true holiness. And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:24). You have to learn the way of holiness because without it, you’ll never see the face of God. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).

The Bible says we are not our own. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s (I Corinthians 6:19,20). When you are the temple of the Holy Ghost, your house is holy. For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people (II Corinthians 6:16). That’s a powerful scripture!

We must live by the Word. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). John the Revelator was even told to eat the book. And the voice which I [John] heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth. And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey (Revelation 10:8,9). Do you dine with the Lord and fill your soul like you fill your stomach at the supper table? Your stomach is flesh and must be fed, but the soul has to be fed, too.

Give Your Life to Jesus

The Word says, The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:4); and you must learn that and believe it without one doubt. Those who teach that you can’t live free from sin are spreading the most damnable doctrine on earth today. It’s the message of the devil, the same one he gave Eve. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil (Genesis 3:4,5). My Lord, that lie wrecked the world; and that same lie is being taught to people in churches, synagogues, temples and other places of worship throughout the world.

If you’re a sinner or a backslider today, you must realize that Jesus is the only way to salvation and eternal life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber (John 10:1). Accept the Lord and learn to face life God’s way. Say this prayer with me: Oh, God, I’m so sorry that I sinned against you; but I have come home. I’ve been taught that you’ll hear my cries and that you will forgive me for all of my sins. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come in!

If you meant that prayer, then Jesus heard you. You don’t have to beg Him to forgive you. He said that if you would confess your sins with godly sorrow—being as sorry for your sins as God is that you committed them—He would forgive you. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9).

Receive a Miracle

Now that you’re born new, you can have a miracle or a healing. Jesus healed in Bible days, and He’s still doing it today. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). For I am the LORD, I change not (Malachi 3:6). Learn this and receive. You can be healed of HIV/AIDS, cancer, diabetes, heart trouble, lung trouble, leprosy, strokes or anything else that you need.

Lord, I know you hear every word of your servant now. I bring the people to you, and I know your eyes are upon them. You’re going to flow your power right into their bodies to make them well. In the blood-name of Jesus, I curse their deadly diseases. Heal! in the blood-name of Jesus! Heal!

In the name of Jesus, watch yourself get well; and I will rejoice with you. Remember to give God all the glory; He is the healer, and I am just His witness.
