Have you learned Jesus? You should study Him more than you study anyone else; but He is so big and wonderful that you will never know everything there is to know about Him, so you must keep learning with the help of the Holy Ghost. Our Comforter and Teacher knows all about Jesus; and when you have Him dwelling within, He will guide you through the scriptures, teach you about Jesus and give you many wonderful thoughts about Him. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come (John 16:13).

When Jesus was on earth, He said, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28). Jesus promised to take your burdens; so why do you carry around despair, oppression and depression?—The answer, Child, is because you haven’t learned enough about Jesus.

When I got saved, I learned that I could take my burdens directly to the Lord; so I often wonder why children of God carry unnecessary burdens. Think about how sad Jesus must feel when He sees you under such a heavy load that you can’t eat right or sleep right. The devil may be battling your mind so much that you can’t hear Jesus, and that’s because you haven’t learned enough about Him.

Jesus said He, the truth, will make you free. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). Only when you really learn Jesus can you be free of all your uneasiness, misgivings and the mind battles that nearly drive some of you mad. Jesus brought peace to calm our minds; and He proved it would work when He calmed the angry sea by simply saying, Peace, be still (Mark 4:39).

Learn Divine Peace

Learn Jesus, and you will have peace that passeth all understanding. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Unfortunately, many people have never learned enough about Jesus to make Him a reality and to always be able to keep Him in the front of their minds. The Holy Spirit can help you, but He can only serve you what you know about Jesus; so it’s time for you to learn as much as you can.

The Lord tells us in His Holy Book, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee (Isaiah 26:3). What a great promise! When you have your mind on Jesus, you will have peaceful thoughts. Think on the six thoughts Paul gave the Philippians. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8). Let these thoughts bring you life so you can learn exactly what Jesus thought when He was here on earth.

Learn Divine Love

If you really want to learn Jesus, you must first know about His love. Most people never knew anything about divine love before they were saved because they never had any of it in their homes. I thank God that my family had plenty of both divine love and physical love, and they influenced my life greatly. I had learned a lot about Jesus before I ever got saved, and I always remember my mother singing this little song:

Little feet be careful, where you take me to.
Anything for Jesus, only let me do.
I washed my hands this morning, so very clean and white.
I let them go to Jesus, to work until night.

Mama’s voice of love still sounds clear to me today as I warn other little feet and little hands to be careful. I teach children to wash their hands for Jesus because clean hands mean a clean heart.

Learn Divine Faith

If you don’t know the love of God, His faith will not work in you. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love (Galatians 5:6). Love and faith are gifts, so you can have all that you need of both and much more than you could ever use. If you learn Jesus without His faith and love, He becomes just an ordinary man; and then you really have no Jesus at all. But when you learn Him with love and faith, you will have two great companions to tell you all about the Rose of Sharon, the Lily of the Valley and the Bright and Morning Star. Oh, He’s the sweetness and the salt of life, and nothing is good without Him.

When you learn Jesus, you will know that faith without works is dead. Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone (James 2:17). Some of you do more works for yourself than you do for the Lord; but when you learn about Him, you will see that He has no dead faith. Jesus’ faith is strong and filled with life.

Learn Humility and Obedience

Learn the great humility of Jesus. He said, Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls (Matthew 11:29). “Learn of me,” Jesus said. He came so humbly; and when you learn His humility, you can humble yourself like He did. Jesus humbled Himself in perfect obedience, and He showed us how to do it. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross (Philippians 2:8).

When you learn humility, you will also learn obedience—obedience to the calling of God and to His whole will for your life. That ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God (Colossians 4:12). You won’t be in and out when you learn Jesus because He makes you steadfast. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord (I Corinthians 15:58).

It’s a must that every member of the bridal company learns Jesus. You must know all about His ways, how He lived, how He thought, how He walked, how He talked and His willingness to come all the way from Heaven to show us the way there. You must know that you’re wearing His shoes and that you’re His brother or sister in the family of God. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together (Romans 8:16,17).

Jesus was so patient when He dealt with people, but some of you are so impatient with people because you’re not the perfect example of Christ. You haven’t learned His longsuffering, and you don’t understand and use His divine patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing (James 1:4).

If you don’t have patience, you probably haven’t learned forgiveness either; and you’ll carry a grudge against others. Jesus never carried a grudge, and He taught us that we shouldn’t either. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you (Ephesians 4:32).

Learn Divine Speech

You’re supposed to have a holy tongue, but some of you have never learned the Jesus tongue; you still run off at the mouth and spread the poison that’s in you. You won’t make the Rapture like that, and I don’t see how you will ever get into Heaven. The Lord says, If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain (James 1:26). God says that you can’t have salvation when you don’t bridle your tongue.

The Bible plainly tells you that your conversation is supposed to be the same here on earth as it will be in Heaven—full of love. For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:20).

Learn Divine Supply

You have to learn who Jesus is and know Him well enough to realize that He will supply all of your needs. My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

You must know Jesus well enough to see Him as He fed thousands with a few loaves and fishes from a little boy’s tiny basket. Jesus and His disciples were surrounded by a large crowd of people, and Jesus knew they were hungry; but the disciples didn’t have a way to feed them all. One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him [Jesus], There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten (John 6:8-13).

This was a great miracle of supply; and yet today, some people refuse to tithe or give much to the Lord. They haven’t learned enough to have the proper godly fear or they would be afraid not to tithe. Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings (Malachi 3:8).

I fear God too much not to tithe because I’ve learned what God wants, and He said we should tithe. He also said we should live holy and not leave other things undone. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone (Matthew 23:23).

Learn Saving Grace

Jesus is the true, living example for every boy, girl, man or woman on earth; but very few have really learned Jesus. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps (I Peter 2:21). They haven’t learned Him as the Savior of the world sent to cleanse us from all sins. They haven’t learned about His divine blood.

How much do you know about the blood of Jesus? Thus saith the Lord, some of you don’t use it any more than you do because you haven’t learned Jesus. You haven’t learned what that divine blood means to you or the power that’s in the name of Jesus. When you fail to use that name like you should, you won’t get results. I speak it and people are delivered from all kinds of sicknesses, diseases and afflictions because I know Jesus.

Paul said, For I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day (II Timothy 1:12). Paul had learned Jesus through much affliction—not sickness and diseases but trials and persecutions.

Learn Divine Patience

If you don’t know how to face life, it’s because you haven’t learned Jesus. He said, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). It’s so sad that some people don’t know the first thing about His abundant life or how to live His abundant way. You don’t know how to believe for or receive the abundance of God because you haven’t learned enough about Heaven’s greatest gift—Jesus.

I study Jesus day and night; and I always ask myself, “What would Jesus do? What would Jesus say?” Don’t just blurt out whatever you think and then cry, “Lord, help!” You must wait with patience until you know what Jesus would say. The Bible says, But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). There are so many who don’t wait God’s way.

The Lord’s waiting room is a room of humility, patience, holiness and righteousness. It is a room where you can be content waiting because you have learned Jesus. You know that when He answers, you’ll mount up higher and higher and that there’s no defeat in Christ Jesus. You will learn Him and know that He is your victory. Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 15:57).

Learn That God Is Always with You

Learn Jesus and know that He promised never to leave you. For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee (Hebrews 13:5). Learn Him and know that all things are possible, not only for others but also for you if you’ll only believe. If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23).

You’ll never know Jesus until you learn Him in prayer and fasting. This kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21). Bible fasting enables you to learn humility—you die completely to self and want nothing but the perfect will of God.

You don’t know Jesus like you should until you can say, “Father, you always hear me,” and really mean it. Quit struggling, begging, pleading, doubting, arguing and worrying yourself in prayer. You don’t have to seek and seek for the will of God; instead just say, “Father, not my will but thine be done.”

I have never questioned God’s will, not even when the Lord took my precious wife, Angel. Before He explained His whole plan to me, I let Him know that I wasn’t angry with Him. I couldn’t talk to Him for a time; but I explained, “Oh, dear Jesus, I just haven’t felt like talking to anyone. I hope you understand.” He didn’t answer me then; but early the next morning when I woke up, He was in the room. He had been holding me close all the time, and He wanted me to know that it had been His will to take Angel home. He knew that I loved souls better than my own life and that I would go on working for Him.

Learn Jesus, and you’ll know that ye are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14). You’ll know that ye are the salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13), and you’ll know like Paul did that God’s grace is indeed sufficient for you. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me (II Corinthians 12:9).

Learn Power over the Devil

When you learn Jesus, you will know the authority you have over all demonic spirits. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18). This scripture leaves no room for doubt—the sick shall absolutely get well. You have to learn the name Jesus and know the power and the authority that are yours when you use it.

Jesus gave the twelve disciples power to heal the sick and to cast out devils. And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease (Matthew 10:1). Then He sent the seventy laymen forth by twos and also gave them authority to heal the sick and to cast out devils. After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name (Luke 10:1,17).

Those seventy couldn’t continue to do such marvelous works because Jesus had just given them that power temporarily to demonstrate that He had power over everything. However, Jesus did tell them, But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).

Jesus told them to go to Jerusalem and tarry there until the power fell. Behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high (Luke 24:49). I can just hear Jesus saying, “I’m going away, but I’m going to send you the same power that you have seen demonstrated through me day after day. You have witnessed the fact that this power never fails. You have seen it walk the waters, move mountains, heal all kinds of sicknesses and diseases and raise the dead.”

Learn Resurrection Power

You will know the power of His Resurrection when you learn Jesus. Paul said that he wanted to know the power of that Resurrection, and he did learn it. That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death (Philippians 3:10).

Paul not only learned that power, but he possessed it. One night while he was preaching the Gospel to a crowd of people, a young man fell out of the loft and died. Paul simply walked over and called life back into his body; then he continued to teach the rest of the night. And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together. And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead. And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him. When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed. And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted (Acts 20:7-12).

Not even a death could stop Paul because he knew he had authority over it—he knew he had the power of the Resurrection that Jesus had used to raise Himself from the dead.

Jesus told the disciples that no power could hold Him, that He would come out of the grave; but they didn’t learn Him or understand what He said. I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father (John 10:17,18).

Learn to Study Jesus

After Jesus was resurrected, He spent forty days teaching the disciples; because before that time, they hadn’t really learned all that they should have about Him. Instead, they acted like a lot of people do today and just played church with Jesus, leaving it up to Him to carry the burdens and do the work. Jesus had tried to teach them and show them a different way, but they hadn’t paid attention.

If you’re a weak Christian who lacks power and authority in your life, it’s your own fault because you haven’t learned Jesus. From the hour that He saved me, Jesus has been my main subject of study; I’ve followed Him throughout the Holy Scriptures. I’ve followed Him in types and shadows in the Old Testament, and they are just as real to me as the real Christ. It was a type of Jesus on the Cross when Moses made the serpent of brass and hung it on a tree, and whosoever looked got healed. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived (Numbers 21:9).

Don’t make it hard to follow the Lord, and don’t let people bother you. Jesus has taught you not to look at or associate with those who hinder you but rather to mark the perfect ones. Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace (Psalm 37:37). Only socialize with those who are like Jesus because they will inspire you and lift you up. They will share the story of God’s great love and peace and remind you that He will supply all your needs for soul, mind and body. Jesus is your Eden life outside of Eden. He is your ark of supply, safety and perfect deliverance; and no storm can destroy you.

Learn the Miracle of the Ark

The three-story ark that Noah built was a type of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. It provided such amazing protection that Noah and his family had no need for medicines or doctors because God kept them in good health. The Lord made the meal barrels that were on the ark to be miracle meal barrels, so Noah’s family and all the animals always had more than what they needed. The eight souls on board had gotten rid of all their doubt as they followed the Lord’s instructions in building the ark.

Noah’s family worked on the ark for 120 years with great patience, and they didn’t bring anyone else in to help them. They knew that God was the architect and that it could not have been built without Him. They knew it would not leak and that they could trust the ark.

Noah and his family were obedient to God, although I’m sure that none of them had the lives they thought they would have when they got married. The Lord shut up the wombs of all the women because He didn’t want any babies to be born during that time, but some of you don’t bow to God’s divine will for your lives. You want what you want until it doesn’t work out; then you sink into sorrow and despair and regret the fact that you followed your own path. You haven’t learned enough about Jesus to stay on the path He has for you. You constantly go back to your own ways or use someone else’s theories that you have picked up along the way.

I have great contentment when most people have none because I don’t listen to or follow what other people say. When God says something, I believe it; and that settles it. I wrap His love blanket around me, and it gives me warmth through and through. It gives me the reality of the blood—its power, light, love, peace, joy and contentment. I’m never discontented, and I thank God daily for allowing me to be among the living. This is the greatest hour since Adam and Eve sinned and were thrown out of the Garden!

Learn the End Times

Outside of Eden, Adam and Eve saw God’s judgments for the first time; and you must learn the judgments that will come upon you if you don’t follow Jesus. Jesus came to make hell real to everyone, but you first have to learn Jesus. Without knowing Him, Heaven won’t be real to you either; and you won’t strive to go there. You’ll walk your own paths and live in your feelings because you won’t learn Jesus or His faith. No one can follow the Lord or please Him without faith. But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6).

You have to learn Jesus to believe in the Rapture, and that’s why so few Christians today are watching for Him to return as the Lord said we should be. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching (Luke 12:37). Jesus also said, I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also (John 14:2,3). You have to learn Jesus to know that He will never break this promise, but most churches don’t believe in the Rapture. However, they will when all of their preachers are in the pulpits and their people are in the pews after the Rapture takes place. Others will be running in the streets, screaming and crying as they try to find the missing Christians.

These people haven’t learned Jesus; but they have learned sports, entertainment, drugs and alcohol. They have learned the world, and they have only a form of godliness; and that mocks God. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away (II Timothy 3:2-5).

Many people today have quenched the Spirit until they’re without feeling. Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness (Ephesians 4:19). We can only have true feeling in our spirits when we learn Jesus.

Don’t Learn Jesus the Way Peter Did

Peter didn’t learn Jesus like he should have, and he backslid when Jesus needed him the most. He was one of the three disciples who got to go and see the Lord transfigured on the mount of power and greatness, but then he wanted to build three tabernacles up there on that high mountain. And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias (Mark 9:5).

Who would have wanted to climb all the way up that mountain to go to church? The congregation would have been about dead by the time they got up there. The Lord knew better and said, “Come on, Simon Peter; let’s go down into the valley of human needs.”

Peter had to learn many hard lessons, but God still used him in a wonderful way to catch the fish of great supply. Jesus told him, Lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee (Matthew 17:27). Peter had witnessed the miracle of the loaves and fishes, and he had watched the Lord cast devils out of people many times. He should have known so much about Jesus, but he had not learned.

John Learned Jesus the Right Way

In contrast, John the Revelator had learned Jesus. He had studied Jesus more than he had studied anyone or anything else. Jesus was the most remarkable person John had ever met, and He had completely changed his life. John loved being close to Jesus, and he was the only one leaning on His breast at the Last Supper. Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved (John 13:23).

Each of the disciples could have taken their turn leaning on Jesus’ breast that night; but they didn’t know Him like they should have. Some of them probably even resented John, but he became such a power for the Lord. He was the only apostle who risked his life at the foot of the Cross when Jesus was crucified. That’s how much he loved Jesus. Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home (John 19:25-27).

John was the only one who knew that Jesus had to die for all mankind, but there was no doubt or fear in John because those things won’t mix with love. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love (I John 4:18). If you’re afraid, you’re not made perfect in love; and you need to learn more about Jesus.

Mama Had Learned Jesus

I always want to learn more about Jesus—about His love, His grace, His peace, His righteousness and holiness and His power to heal. I never would have been made whole all over when I was facing death if I had not learned Jesus. My mother taught me to know Jesus; and even before I was saved, she made Him so real. He was in our house; He was at our table, and He was present during our family prayers.

I never had to go to a minister for answers because my mom knew Jesus’ power to make miracles, heal marriages and help people. It’s hard to tell how many people my mama—just a little woman who had learned Jesus—helped in her day. She never got a great education, but she went far beyond that. She got her knowledge from the throne of God. She would call up Heaven, and she knew that she would get God on the line—and I knew it, too.

Mama had learned Jesus and passed it on to her children by the way she lived, prayed and received answers from God. Mama prayed more than anyone I’ve ever known; she was always talking to Jesus. It’s no wonder that she influenced the members of her church so much and that they had such confidence in her and in her prayers.

Learn the Word

You have to really know Jesus to realize that not one thing said about Him in the Holy Scriptures can be changed. The Bible declares, Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matthew 24:35). That same Word was made flesh; and Jesus, the Word, lives forever. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14). Jesus was the walking, living Word. I love the name Jesus, and I speak it in perfect faith. The Holy Spirit has been the One to always lead me forward because I hunger and thirst to learn all about Jesus. I look for Him in my thoughts, in my works and in my valleys.

If you don’t see Jesus in any valley that you find yourself in, then you’ll know that it’s not the will of God for you to be in that valley. Many Christians dig their own valleys and then blame God or someone else for them. If the Lord leads you into a valley, His grace will go before you; and His footprints will be there for you to follow, assuring you that everything will be all right.

You must learn that Jesus is your foundation, your solid rock. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 3:11). Not one grain of sand can be between you and the Lord. Jesus told one man, One thing thou lackest (Mark 10:21). This confirms that even just one grain of sand will hinder you, too.

Learn to Listen to the Spirit

How much do you know about Jesus’ love, grace, patience and peace? When the storms come, how much do you know about His care for you? For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee (Hebrews 13:5). He will always be with you.

You must hear Jesus saying again and again, He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith (Revelation 2:7). Learn to listen to the Spirit. Early in my journey with the Lord, the Holy Ghost became paramount as a teacher in my life. I spent untold hours with Him, and He would speak and sing through me in many languages. I wanted to learn everything I could about Jesus, and I knew that only the Spirit could make Him living reality in my heart.

The Spirit taught me about divine miracle power, that Jesus could make a person whole all over. He did that for me many years ago, and I honor Him today with every breath I take. Jesus came with healing in His wings, and under those wings everyone can find deliverance and rest. But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings (Malachi 4:2).

The Lord’s wings are full of grace and love. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler (Psalm 91:4). For over seventy years, I have found a place of rest and refuge in time of trouble under His wings.

Learn to Trust Jesus

Read the Sermon on the Mount if you want to really learn Jesus. Everything you need from the cradle to the grave is included in it. Jesus said, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled (Matthew 5:6). Every word of that sermon was spoken with such love and grace that it would have taken a very hard heart not to listen to what Jesus had to say—and still today, it takes a hard heart for people not to listen to the love message of Jesus.

When you’re righteous, there’s no touch like the Master’s touch; and you don’t have to be afraid when your sea is angry and the waves are crashing in. Jesus will come to you walking on the waters saying, It is I; be not afraid (Matthew 14:27). Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27).

One time when the seas were rough, Jesus called for Peter to step out onto the water and come to Him. Peter had learned enough about Jesus to get off of his boat and walk the waters; but unfortunately, he hadn’t learned enough to know that the Lord would keep him on top, and he started to sink. Peter cried out, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt (Matthew 14:30,31)? Peter knew enough to trust Jesus to save him but not enough to keep walking the waves of promise.

Learn Christ’s Thirteen Claims

You can claim each one of God’s promises if you know Jesus, but you have to know exactly who He is. Jesus made thirteen marvelous claims about Himself when He was here, claims that many have overlooked; but if you really want to learn Jesus, you must know each one. If Jesus isn’t who He claimed to be, then there is no divine blood to wash away our sins and no divine blood to put our trust in. But He is everything He claimed to be, and He proved it. We can put our lives into His hands and never look back. We can know beyond a shadow of a doubt that we are born new and that our souls are sealed by the divine blood that Jesus shed on Calvary. You must know and study each of these claims.

CLAIM ONE: Jesus declared He was the Only Begotten Son of God. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (John 3:16,18). Those who won’t accept Jesus Christ to be the Only Begotten, the divine Son, the divine Redeemer and the divine Savior will never make it to Heaven. Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God (John 10:36)?

Without believing in the divine nature of His blood or the Virgin Birth, you can’t believe in Jesus Christ; you’re condemned before God and headed for eternal damnation.

If divine blood didn’t back up the name of Jesus, it would be just another name. But divine blood does back up that name, and Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

CLAIM TWO: Jesus declared that He was the same as the Father. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father (John 14:9)? The disciples were always slow of heart to accept the things that Jesus told them; but He wanted them to know that He had all the characteristics, the traits and the Spirit of His Father. When we’re saved, God becomes our Father, too; we’re brought into the divine family.

Because Jesus is just like His Father, when the shepherds and the wise men saw that little form in the manger, they saw the face of God. Think about all those who missed seeing the face of God then and how many are not seeing it today. Most church members don’t really know anything about God because they haven’t learned Jesus.

How often have you told the Lord, “I want to be just like Jesus”? He is the only person I’ve ever wanted to be like. He has everything my heart desires, and He brought it all down to us.

CLAIM THREE: Jesus claimed to be the Messiah. The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he (John 4:25,26). Notice how humble Jesus was as He talked to this woman of the streets. She lived a totally degraded life, and Jesus knew it. When He asked her to call her husband, she answered, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly (John 4:17,18). When Jesus said that, the woman realized that He was the Christ; and she gave herself completely over to His divine blood—it flowed into her heart while He spoke.

CLAIM FOUR: Jesus claimed to be the Redeemer. Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many (Matthew 20:28). Christ died for you and me.

CLAIM FIVE: Jesus claimed to be the Savior. And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost (Luke 19:9,10). Jesus came to reclaim everything that was lost in the fall of man, and you can see the evidence of it now in the final pouring out of the Holy Spirit. We can have everything we need with no lack.

CLAIM SIX: Jesus claimed to be sent of God. God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved (John 3:17). God didn’t send us condemnation; He sent the Savior, His Only Begotten Son. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him (John 3:34). Jesus was filled with the Holy Ghost, but that fullness wasn’t available to everyone until the Day of Pentecost. Before that day, the Lord had given the Spirit by measure unto the apostles; but after they went to the Upper Room, they received the Spirit without measure.

After they had received the Holy Ghost, the apostles became different people. Simon Peter stood up and taught with boldness, and even the laypeople preached Jesus and ministered to others. The more the disciples were persecuted, the more they scattered and preached Jesus. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles. Therefore they that were scattered abroad went everywhere preaching the word (Acts 8:1,4). No one complained about their trials and persecutions; they were spreading the Gospel wherever they went. They had become just like Jesus.

In this last hour, we must have the Holy Ghost, too. When Jesus was here, He said, It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you (John 16:7). Expedient means necessary. We must have the Holy Ghost to be our guide, our teacher, our comforter and our Spirit of truth.

CLAIM SEVEN: Jesus declared, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). If Jesus was not divine, then this was a false claim; but no one can receive salvation in any other way but through Jesus Christ. All those who have died without believing in the divinity of Jesus have gone to hell. Jesus is the only way, and we must follow Him. And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it (Isaiah 35:8). Strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it (Matthew 7:14)…or are willing to walk it. Jesus spoke the truth, and through His truth is the only way you can be free.

CLAIM EIGHT: Jesus claimed He was the forgiver of sins. He said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee (Mark 2:5). Jesus said this before He went to Calvary which shows He was very God manifested in the flesh. But when the Pharisees and Sadducees heard Him, they thought Jesus was a blasphemer; but He let them know that He was the Son of God. But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all (Mark 2:10-12). If your sins are forgiven today, it was done through the blood of Jesus that stained the Old Rugged Cross more than 2000 years ago.

CLAIM NINE: Jesus claimed to be the resurrection and the life at Lazarus’ tomb after he had been dead for four days. If this wasn’t true, then Jesus would be a false Christ. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live (John 11:25). Lazarus’ sister Martha said, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died (John 11:21). But the Lord said, If thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God (John 11:40)?

Martha had faith, but she wasn’t putting it in the right place at the right time. Martha believed her brother would live again but not at that moment. Then Jesus said, Take ye away the stone (John 11:39). And with His great voice of faith He cried, Lazarus, come forth (John 11:43). That cry had all the love of Heaven in it, all the grace of God abounding through it and all the power flowing through it to overcome all the darkness of the devil. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go (John 11:44). Jesus proved His Resurrection power at Lazarus’ tomb.

CLAIM TEN: Jesus claimed to be the final judge of all nations, tribes and people, the judge of the wise and the unwise, the quick and the dead. And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats (Matthew 25:32). Jesus will separate the nations right before the Perfect Age, the time when Christ will reign on earth for 1000 years. The sheep nations, those that have been good to the Jews, will go into the Perfect Age. The goat nations, those that mistreated the Jews, will be cast into hell or the lake of fire.

CLAIM ELEVEN: Jesus claimed to have all authority and power in Heaven and on earth; but for this claim, He was called a blasphemer. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth (Matthew 28:18). Jesus proved this when He healed the sick, forgave their sins, raised the dead and cast out devils.

CLAIM TWELVE: Jesus claimed He would always be present with His disciples. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). And He went on to say, Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world (Matthew 28:20). Once you find Jesus, He will always stay with you unless you commit willful sin; so you no longer have to keep looking for Him. Through the blood, He will meet with you when you’re alone or when you gather together in His name. Come into the power of the blood, and you’ll be victorious all the time.

CLAIM THIRTEEN: Jesus claimed He would come the third time. Jesus said, And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other (Matthew 24:30,31). Jesus would have had to be divine to come in glory and bring all the holy angels with Him.

Some people don’t know the difference between Christ’s second appearance and His third appearance. When referring to His second appearance, Jesus said, But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night (II Peter 3:10). A thief sneaks in undercover and takes the valuables just as Jesus will do when He makes His second appearance to take His children home. But when Christ appears the third time, people all over the world will see Him. Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen (Revelation 1:7).

If these thirteen claims are not true, you can forget about being resurrected or the soon coming of the Lord. You can forget about Jesus and about living with Him forever in Heaven. But thank God, Jesus fulfilled all thirteen claims! Hide them in your heart and learn Jesus.

Learn Your Savior

I have lived all of this that I’m teaching you, and I’m always coming into more and more of the knowledge of the truth of Jesus. I know in whom I have believed, and I know what He will do for people. I know He will make the sick well and set the sinner free!

I know He will see every tear, and I know we can touch Him when we’re burdened down with cares. Jesus has lived here on earth, and He knows how we feel. That’s why we can touch Him with feelings of suffering and persecution. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15).

Learn Jesus—I hope this will ring in your innermost being. Oh, Bride of Christ, learn everything you can about Jesus in the short time you have left because you need Him! He’s showing so much love to each member of the bridal company, and He’ll do everything for you that you will allow Him to.

Jesus is your way-maker and your only door into Glory. Let Him know that you want to learn Him, that you want His companionship, His fellowship and the light of His love and joy all the time. The more you know about Him, the more freedom you will feel in and toward Him. His graces will flow through you, and the fruits will be manifested in your life.

If you’re a backslider or need to be saved, say the sinners’ prayer today. Oh, God, save my soul. I’m so sorry that I sinned against you; but I’ve come home, and I’m going to serve you. I want your mercy, Lord; save my soul. I give my life to you; and I believe the blood of Jesus, the blood of life, flows through me now and washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in, Jesus!

If you meant that prayer, you can say, Hallelujah! Jesus is mine. Hallelujah! I’ve made it through to Calvary, and I’m going to live forever in that place called Heaven.

Learn to Receive

Now decide that you’re going to learn Jesus and get well. Some of you will only believe for the moment; but the Bible says, And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up (James 5:15). You have to believe or you won’t receive from the Lord. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord (James 1:6,7).

You who are sick and afflicted must believe. Thousands have been healed of AIDS through this Jesus ministry. If you have lung trouble or need open-heart surgery, know that the Lord has re-created many lungs and hearts. He has healed many with paralysis, leprosy, cancer and brain tumors; and He can deliver you. He loves you; and the Bible declares that with Jesus’ blood stripes,we can have healing. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Lord, I come to you in the name of Jesus with your supernatural gifts. You have ordained me to call down healing on the people, and I ask you, Lord, to heal the people today. I use your divine blood now—heal with its miracle power. Heal! Deliver those with AIDS, cancer, heart trouble, lung disease, strokes, diabetes and leprosy; and heal all the deformed and crippled children. Deliver those who are bound with alcohol, drugs or other devil bondages and set the captives free through the power that is in the blood of Jesus. Amen.

Write or email and tell me what happened to you, and I will rejoice with you. If you just gave your heart to God, start praying, reading your Bible, fasting and learning Jesus. Serve Him with all your heart and meet us in Heaven one day. God bless you and give you His love, strength and faith daily; and I’ll see you in the Rapture.
