Jesus, the great I-Am or the great I-Was: Which is He? Most people on planet Earth today recognize Jesus as the great I-Was. Closing their eyes to His power, they still declare they believe in God. Many accept the fact that Jesus performed miracles when He walked among men, they just don’t think He will perform them today.

If you don’t believe that God is giving divine signs, wonders, miracles and healings today, you don’t really believe in God. If you don’t believe in the miracle power of Jesus Christ for today, you don’t believe in the Jesus of the Bible. You have invented a Jesus based on your own opinions.

The miracles of Jesus are real. They were real when He was here, and they were real after He went away. The Bible says that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8). Isn’t this today? Jesus is the same today, and He’s going to be the same tomorrow—the Bible states it. Jesus still saves, heals, and delivers. If you don’t accept the whole Christ with His miraculous divinity, His miraculous blood power, you don’t accept the Jesus of the Bible. He’s a Jesus of your own making; you’ve stripped Him of His glory, stripped Him of His great power. How pathetic!

Jesus came to show great love and to serve great faith. He told the disciples, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do (John 14:12,13).

Jesus said He would pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter (John 14:16). That other Comforter is the Holy Ghost. On the Day of Pentecost, those waiting in the Upper Room received that Comforter when they were baptized in the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4). They went forth from that Upper Room to use that great power—human beings just like we are! Jesus was their Christ, and that same Christ is our Christ today.

Signs, Jesus tells us, will follow believers. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18). If you want to know where the believers are, look for the signs. If these signs are not following, the people are not real Bible believers. Believers in the beginning of the Church saw signs, wonders, miracles and healings; and the Bible believers today see signs, wonders, miracles and healings, also.

We Depend on Miracles

We don’t only believe in miracles, we depend on them. We depend on a miracle God, a miracle Christ, a miracle Gospel, a miracle salvation. We depend on the miracle joy, peace and happiness from Heaven.

There are those who talk about the mighty works of Jesus, preach about what He used to do—but they assume He’s no longer doing those works. Although they picture Jesus so real yesterday, they can’t imagine He would work the same today. They think Jesus used to do wonders, but He doesn’t do them anymore for some reason. He’s either too far away, too busy, His arms are too short, or He’s dull of hearing. They’re talking, teaching, preaching and acting foolishly.

The Great I-Am Delivers from Bondage

The Lord called Moses and told him at the burning bush to bring His people out of Egyptian bondage. Exodus 3:14,15, And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel…this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations. The great I-Am is the same deliverer today as He was when He delivered Israel, His mighty works are a memorial to all generations—and that includes us.

Picture Moses standing before Pharaoh. With God’s signs, wonders, miracles and healings he brought the people out, delivered them from bondage. Then at Sinai the light of God was like lightning, and the greatness of God roared like thunder. It was glorious to behold!

There are those who say we don’t need miracles in this civilization that we have today. I wonder why not? It will take a miracle to deliver some people, a miracle to make them fit to live around. It took a miracle for all of us to find Jesus and to be made new creatures. Everyone needs to be made a new creation in Christ Jesus. It’s wonderful to be moved by the Spirit and power of God!

The Light of the World

When Christ was here, He lit up the land with the glory of God, with the light of the Gospel. But now where is that light? the doubter asks. Dead, dead, dead! Oh, God used to do miracles, but they’re dead to us. Oh yes, no doubt Jesus did bring light, but we can’t have that light. The light’s not shining on those who sit in darkness today: These are words of people who have eyes to see, and refuse to see. But the children of God who are on fire for the Lord are shining this Gospel light everywhere they go, into the darkest corners of the earth. They’re shining this light, and it’s real.

The members of the bridal company are going forth with oil in their lamps to show the light of the Gospel, the light of glory, the light of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost to a lost and dying world. The Bride is shining the light of Heaven everywhere she goes through the blood power of the Holy Ghost.

The Lord said His people would be the light of the world. Ye are the light of the world. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven (Matthew 5:14,16). Does that sound as though the light weren’t going to endure? Does that sound as though the light and the glory of God went out long ago? No, it just went out in the minds of a lot of people.

God Hung the Earth on Nothing

Moses didn’t tell the people that I-Was sent him. Moses didn’t say God went out of the miracle business after He created the universe, spoke this old world into existence and hung it upon nothing. He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing (Job 26:7). The earth has lasted a long time hanging upon nothing, hasn’t it? It wasn’t the great I-Was who created the stars, the moon and the sun as well as all the other planets; they were created by the Great I-Am.

Man thinks he’s accomplished incredible feats just to be able to see part of the stars and planets, just to travel into space. Briefly man landed on the moon, but he didn’t do much there; He wasn’t in Heaven by any means. A place of desolation lacking green grass, trees or any kind of vegetation, the moon is cold and barren. But man thought landing on the moon was a great achievement. Man and his achievements are not great; the greatness is in the one who made the moon and all the other moons, the other suns, and planets. The God who created all the angels and man as well is the great one. He was I-Am in Moses’ day, and He is still I-Am today.

Is God asleep, is He dull of hearing, is He dead? No, a thousand times no. He is alive and mindful of the righteous: The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry (Psalm 34:15).

No Scarcity of God’s Faith

Jesus said, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them (Mark 11:24). To everyone is given a measure of faith (Romans 12:3). If you want faith in God, you can have it. Faith is God’s gift to mankind just as salvation is, but these are gifts you must accept and use. If you use the measure of faith He gives, then He’ll give you more measures as long as you keep using what He gives—I know by experience. Many measures of faith the Lord has given to me down through the years; and if He’s given me this faith, He’ll give it to you. Freely He gives faith.

There’s no scarcity of God’s faith, no scarcity of His love, and no scarcity of His power to do what He wants to do on planet Earth today. The Son of God brought the love of God for everyone who will use it. He wants people to see, to feel and to experience His love. So many people are unloved, so many people have no one to care for them, no one to love them; but our wonderful Christ is here to help us all. His name: I-Am forever to everyone who will look to me.

When we decide that the Lord lives now, we see actions, manifestations as the glory of the Lord is poured out. When people welcome the Lord, He’s ready to step in and show His mighty wonders. God’s works are miraculous. He works with His miracle hands, His miracle faith, and His miracle love. Today as well as yesterday, everything is miraculous about God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.

God Does Not Change

When did I-Am become I-Was? I-Am said, I am the LORD, I change not (Malachi 3:6). God doesn’t lie; He doesn’t change; He’s still God. He was God when He made man; He was God in Egypt, and He’s God now.

I-Am promised the Israelites that He’d take them to the land flowing with milk and honey if they’d be obedient and honor Him. The Lord is promising us today that He’ll take us to a land, a spiritual Canaan flowing with all the greatness of God.

He calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out (John 10:3). He calls us by name today; we’re chosen by God. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you (John 15:16).

If you’re thinking the Lord is not a miracle-working God today, then He’s I-Was to you. If you don’t believe He’ll do the great things today that He did yesterday—and even more—He’s your I-Was.

I am the LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26). It’s not I-Was the Lord who healed people; it’s I-Am the Lord that healeth thee. With his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). With His blood stripes we are healed. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases (Psalm 103:2,3).

And the Bible tells us in James 5:15, The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up. Isn’t that Wonderful!

Mark 16:18, They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Divine healing is unbelievable to all whose way of life is foreign to God.

If you have the Spirit of God in you, the living Christ, you believe Him. Paul said, It’s not I that liveth, but Christ liveth in me (Galatians 2:20).

Jesus promised to send the Holy Ghost to set up His abode within His children who are totally obedient to Him. He would dwell in us, live on the inside of us, living reality.

I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore (Revelation 1:18). This is Jesus speaking. He helped bring the earth into existence, helped create man; and He came to Earth to bring about man’s salvation. He was crucified, yet He rose from the dead, and He will live for all eternity. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last (Revelation 22:13). I am all of it, Jesus is saying.

I-Am Sends Us to the Nations

As Moses went forth declaring, I-Am sent me, we go forth with the same message. To the nations we go because I-Am sends us. I never go anywhere other than where I-Am sends me. If I-Am doesn’t send me, I don’t go.

The Lord said His name would be I-Am for how long? Forevermore! The Lord is telling us to go forth and cry out to the people the great Gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Cry out to the multitudes, You can be saved from all your sins, you can be made holy! You can be free and live free from all sin! If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed (John 8:36). When the great I-Am sets you free, you’re absolutely free! Freedom means that sin shall not have dominion over you (Romans 6:14), for I-Am has set you free!

The Christ, the Son of God came all the way from Heaven to perform miraculous works. Why wouldn’t He continue to perform His works today? People are being saved, healed, and delivered, living holy lives, walking with God, talking like Jesus, believing like Jesus, and wearing His shoes. They’ve taken His place. Why? Because they know He lives, know Him to be I-Am today, the great I-Am, not I-Was, but the Christ of today.

In the crusades we tell people who are hurting that we bring them I-Am; He can help them, heal them. We give them Bibles to read about I-Am coming to Earth, I-Am walking and dwelling among men, opening the eyes of the blind, unstopping deaf ears, making crippled people to walk, and even raising the dead. I-Am has dried many, many tears; and I-Am is still doing that work today through His disciples, His believers.

I am alive, Jesus is crying. How Long? Forevermore! I-Am that I-Am. I am the Christ; I am the Savior; I am the Redeemer; I am the King of Glory; I am your King and I have to have your heart for my throne while you’re here on Earth!

Jesus Is Coming for His Bride

I-Am lives on the inside of we who are born again. We’ve given all to Him so He can reign in our lives, sit on the throne of our hearts as King.

The time is coming when all the inhabitants of the earth will behold Jesus. Whether they want to see Him or not, they’ll behold Him. Whether they accept Him or not, I-Am is coming; but first He’s coming in midair to take out the Bride. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (I Thessalonians 4:16,17). One day in Heaven we’ll help crown Jesus King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Oh, Bride of Christ, the Lord is urging you to hurry on. He’s declaring, I am yours! I am your help, your strength, your power, your glory; I am everything you need.

What joy and gladness the Bride has in this her final hour, her final walk! Oh glory be to God, the great I-Am That I-Am!

Some Don’t Want to Believe

Some people didn’t want to be believers when Jesus was here, and He passed them on by, saying, And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them (Matthew 13:14,15). The Lord will pass people by today if they don’t want to hear, don’t want to see. It doesn’t matter how greatly the Lord moves in a service, dishonest-hearted doubters won’t believe His works.

I-Am hath sent me: It’s all you need to say when you go to other nations. We have the works of I-Am, works they’ll see, and if they want to believe they’ll be made believers. If they don’t want to believe, then they won’t.

The Lord can take an honest-hearted doubter, however, and make a true believer out of that one; but He holds no hope for dishonest-hearted doubters. They don’t want to believe; they don’t want to see, and they don’t want to hear about the blood and what the blood will do today. Holy living, living free from all sin are Bible teachings they reject.

Although many are not offended at hearing about man’s “holiness,” they don’t want to hear about God’s holiness. They have made their own holiness, their own righteousness. The Bible makes clear what God thinks about man’s righteousness. We are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6).

What is the message of the world church? Come to church and let us tell you about I-Was. No wonder people are flocking to the things of the world. The altars have been taken out of their churches, and the blood isn’t being preached. Old-time holiness and the fire of the Holy Ghost are absent. The fire from On High is not falling, and no one sees I-Am in action; no one hears the wonderful story of I-Am, the same yesterday, today, and forever.

People want help today; some go to hear about I-Was on Sunday morning, but on Sunday night they’re out in the world, and the help they need never comes. They’re not looking for I-Am to move with them, through them, to bless them, and to bless others.

An Exciting Story

Be excited about I-Am, excited to tell the story of Him. Come, He’s the same. He’s healing people just like He did when He walked the shores of Galilee! He’s opening the eyes of the blind, unstopping deaf ears and making crippled people to walk. He is the same; He is the same! He’s the same yesterday, today and forever! Come see I-Am as He lifts people up, takes them out of the valleys. Hear I-Am saying: Come unto me and bring your burdens. Come unto me and I will give you rest. I-Am cradles the suffering in His loving arms, and takes away the pain, takes away sicknesses and diseases.

We’re going throughout the earth in this final hour crying, I-Am will perform miracles for you! I-Am will bring healings! Faith in God will do it, divine faith. He is the great I-Am, not I-Was. For all time and eternity He will be I-Am. As we walk down Glory Avenue in Heaven we’ll be crying, “I-Am lives! I-Am is alive!” But we’re not going to wait until then; we’re going to shout it now!

Jesus said faith would move mountains. If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you (Matthew 17:20). Mountains of trouble, of sicknesses, diseases, despair, and depression face people daily. Mountains, mountains, mountains—but for those mountains we have I-Am That I-Am.

God didn’t have to give Himself a great name; I-Am is sufficient as long as you say it with all your heart: I-Am sent me; I-Am is with me: Emmanuel! I-Am is as powerful today as He was when He parted the waters of the Red Sea.

People Need the Great I-Am

Because I-Am is here today, the sick, I say again, will be healed, the unsaved delivered. People need I-Am today just as they needed Him yesterday, the day before, last year, a hundred years ago, and thousands of years ago. Had people felt the need of I-Am down through the ages, had they sought Him in all faith, this would be a different civilization today. But they turned away, thought Him to be I-Was—if they thought about Him at all. The great God who created the universe went unrecognized by the man whom He had made.

For some people today I-Am doesn’t live. Why? They’ve denied the virgin birth of Christ, and so they know nothing at all about I-Am. People who don’t believe in the virgin birth can’t get to Heaven, for they don’t believe in the saving divine blood that came only through the virgin birth.

Jesus said, I am the door (John 10:9). I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). Jesus is the door, the foundation. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 3:11). No other name but Jesus can we use to be saved; the Bible declares it: There is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 14:12).

To people who are miserable, lost and undone, we cry: I-Am lives! To the alcoholics, the drug addicts, the devil possessed, those whose lives are completely ruined, we call: I-Am will set you free! The message of deliverance through the divine blood of I-Am will set you free if you embrace it. All power is in the blood of I-Am, divine power that will set the captives free.

Jesus said, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised (Luke 4:18). Jesus is still the one today to set the captives free, to liberate. The alcoholics, the drug addicts are delivered by the numbers in our services, delivered by the power and the greatness of I-Am.

You pray, you fast in living reality when you know I-Am is real today. When you’re sent by I-Am, you are a success. Moses was a success, and you will be a success when you preach the message of I-Am, when you serve I-Am’s love, faith, miracles and healings.

God’s people must serve, and we are serving in this final hour; joyfully we serve. We’re at war against the devil, and victory is in our souls.

Jesus brought life. He said, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). I-Am brought abundant life, Because I live, ye shall live also (John 14:19). The body will die, but not the real you, the soul; it will live forever because of I-Am. The Lord is saying, I am life; I am eternal life, I-Am, I-Am, I-Am!

I-Am Paid the Price

I love my great I-Am; I’ll never forget the night I met Him, the night He changed my life completely, made me a new creation in Him. I went to the house of God a sinner, and left on His road of righteousness and holiness. I had met I-Am, and He filled me with “joy unspeakable and full of glory.”

Sunday school teachers taught me about I-Am. Preachers told me about I-Am, but I didn’t have Him in my heart. Not until I took Him into my heart, did He become real to me. You must have Him in your heart before you know Him in all living reality.

This is the message for the world from Heaven in this last and final hour. Each member of the bridal company is carrying this message. It’s in their spirit, in their heart—I-Am, I-Am, I-Am! Every particle of us believes He is I-Am today, and responds to Him; our hearts shout hallelujah! I-Am is real; Heaven is real. Thank God forevermore, I-Am is still the same, I say again, and His promises are real because He is the great I-Am today, tomorrow, and all the rest of our tomorrows.

Thank God for Jesus, thank God for Heaven, and thank God for the old Rugged Cross! Thank God for I-Am who paid such a price for our salvation! He didn’t have to die for us, but willingly He did it; willingly He gave His life. I-Am paid the price for every lost man, every lost woman, and every lost boy and every lost girl.

I-Am Is Revealing Himself

This is your hour of visitation, your hour of revelation. The Lord is revealing Himself to people everywhere who want His reality. He is manifesting His power to save, to deliver, to heal. Take on the real Jesus; take on the real Christ, the Christ of the Bible.

In my services it’s as though Jesus steps out of the pages of the Bible to heal and deliver the people. That’s the way it ought to be; that’s the way it’s supposed to be. That’s the way it was in the beginning of the Church and that’s the way it is now in the closing hour of the Church for everyone who will receive all of I-Am.

I-Am is coming for those who believe Him to be I-Am and not I-Was. That song of praise will be in the Bride’s heart on the day the Rapture takes place: I-Am lives! I-Am is coming for us! You won’t know the day or the hour He will come, but you’ll know I-Am keeps His Word—and He said, I will come! I will come! And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also (John 14:3). He will come because He’s I-Am, and I-Am has never failed one of His promises.

Yes, I-Am will keep every promise. We hug those promises close to our bosom, knowing He will be with us all the way. We’re coming home with the oil of the Holy Spirit in our lamps and the sheaves of harvest to lay at the feet of Jesus. As the endless ages roll we’ll shout the praises of the great I-Am. Blessed be the name of the Lord!

What power Jesus gave; He even gave Simon power to walk the waters. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus (Matthew 14:25-29). Get off the boat and let’s go with Jesus. Thank God forevermore!

He lives! He lives! He lives should be the song, the jubilation of your heart. He lives on the inside of you when you are really born again; now make Him alive to others. It’s time to shout the great message in this final hour: He lives! He’s alive: I-Am That I-Am!

Search the pages of the Bible and find out what I-Am did yesterday, and know He’ll do those works without a doubt today. Oh glory be to God!

Sinner, don’t you want I-Am in your life today? Don’t you want the same Christ who walked the shores of Galilee, who delivered the devil possessed and set the captives free? A dead religion is one that worships I-Was. But why not worship a God who works right now? For someone to talk about a good meal yesterday or last year may be interesting, but it won’t feed your hungry stomach. Does it bless you to hear a sermon if I-Am isn’t in it? No, it’s no Gospel, no light of Jesus Christ; it’s no power, no love of Him.

Sinner, pray this prayer with me: Oh, God, I’m so sorry I sinned against you, but I have come home; and I will serve you, Lord, the rest of my life. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart precious Jesus! Come on in Jesus!

If you meant it, He has come. Start reading your Bible and praying. Some Bible fasting will help you, and always remember that the God of miracles lives and is ready to perform His mighty works.

I-Am lives; and I-Am is with us to bring healings. The Lord promised the Israelites if they would be obedient to Him, keep His statutes, walk in His commandments, He’d keep sickness away from their door. The LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee (Deuteronomy 7:15). I-Am said those words, I-Am meant them, and I-Am would have kept the children of Israel in good health had they not broken His commandments. They could have gone to Canaan healthy because He healed every one of them that night in Egypt when the death angel passed over them. The Psalmist testified there wasn’t a weak one among them when they came out of Egypt. He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes (Psalm 105:37). Three or four million people—including a mixed multitude—and they were all healed.

How did they get healed? They took holy sacrament, holy communion. They ate the lamb’s body and put the blood on the doorposts.

Today Jesus is our Sacrificial Lamb, and we’re using His blood on the doorposts of our hearts. That spiritual body belongs to us; it was given for our healing, so why can’t we have healing? Jesus said healing is the children’s bread. Bread is on the table every meal, and likewise, healing is within your reach. Reach out and touch I-Am right now.

As many as touched Jesus in faith when He was here, the Bible tells us, were healed. And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole (Mark 6:56). They touched Him, the great I-Am. I am the Savior, He’s crying to you today. I am the Redeemer; I am your Lord; I am your Master, I-Am, I-Am, I-Am!

You may have cancer; you may have heart trouble or you may have paralysis. Maybe you haven’t walked in years, but you can walk because I-Am lives. I-Am is here on planet Earth today, and His works are still being carried on through the lives of His true followers, His true believers.

To those on foreign soil I-Am sends me; I come with the I-Am message. I come with the message of miracles, healings, and deliverance for all diseases, all afflictions. The Lord heals leprosy and AIDS through this Jesus ministry; I-Am can deliver you from anything. There’s no case too hard for I-Am. He raised the dead, so you know He can heal you of any disease or affliction, deliver you from any demonic spirits and demonic powers. It makes no difference, I-Am will set you free.

Lord, here they are; I bring them to you. You are the healer. You know I claim no secret powers of my own; it’s all the power of I-Am. And in the name of Jesus, the mighty prophet of God, the mighty Son of God, in that mighty blood name I inject miracle healing power, destroying their diseases, their afflictions under the blood. Heal, in the name of Jesus! Heal, in the all-powerful blood name! Heal, I pray!

The healing power is flowing. Believe the Lord for your little one, Mother and Daddy, and watch your child get well. Take healing for your whole household. I-Am lives! I-Am will help you! Let I-Am walk with you; let Him talk with you, and know that He will hear your prayers if you will walk in His righteousness and holiness.

Write and tell me how God has moved, and I will rejoice with you. I like to hear the great reports of I-Am’s work throughout the whole earth in this final hour. God be with you, and God keep you is my prayer, and always remember that Jesus is the great I-Am yesterday, today and forever.
