The disciples had waited a long time for the rain of the Holy Spirit; but because they had predetermined how that rain would fall, they went into confusion when Jesus didn’t move in the way they had planned. Thinking that He quickly would set up His Kingdom on Earth, they expected Him to rule with them right by His side. But He wanted to rule in their hearts, to be Master of their souls. He longed for them to see Him as their perfect Redeemer, their Redeemer Kinsman and coming King, to step into the outpouring rain of the Holy Spirit.

At times the disciples’ understanding almost took hold; but then it clouded over again, and they couldn’t see the vision of the hour. The rain of the Holy Spirit, Jesus told them, would come; and the pieces of their understanding would fall into place: But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you. Then Jesus went on to try to prepare them for His death: But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou? But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart. Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter [the Holy Ghost] will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you (John 16:4-7). The disciples didn’t want to hear Jesus talk of His death; their minds were geared for a Kingdom here on Earth, not the coming rain of the Holy Ghost in their hearts.

The disciples had heard Jesus say to the Jews: Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up…but he spake of the temple of his body (John 2:19,21). Jesus told His disciples how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day (Matthew 16:21). Resurrection…it was no more real to them than His death. It seems as though their eyes could have been opened to God’s plan when they watched Jesus before Lazarus’ sepulchre crying, “Lazarus, come forth!” and Lazarus, still wrapped in grave clothes, walked out of the tomb.

Jesus declared: I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live (John 11:25), and the disciples almost understood. But then the concept would flee from them. Only the Holy Ghost Himself can hold us in the arms of God until His Word has meaning to us, so that we might have full understanding of His Word. That’s the reason it’s essential for everyone to have a real Bible baptism in the Holy Ghost. The One who knows all things seeks to dwell with us, to help us; but it takes our total yielding to Him before that indwelling is possible.

The disciples couldn’t comprehend Jesus as a member of the Godhead. How could they understand the Holy Ghost whom they had never seen? They marveled at Jesus, the words He spoke; they talked among themselves, discussing His parables. Still they didn’t have the answers more than once in a while. And so it has been for others down through the years. People have functioned with answers part-time. Now the hour has come that we as God’s people must have His answers all the time to the problems and questions of the day. No longer can we afford to walk foggy valleys of doubt and unbelief. Only by using the faith of God in the love of God and in the presence of the Holy Spirit can we conquer the valleys. It’s a walk directed by the Holy Ghost Himself.

The disciples saw Jesus crucified; and they despaired, thinking all was lost. When the miraculous news of His resurrection came, it was almost too much for them to comprehend. Finally indescribable delight thrilled their souls as they communed with their resurrected Christ.

The Early Rain Began at Pentecost

The last instruction Jesus gave His disciples was to not depart from Jerusalem until ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).

Excitedly the disciples tarried in that Upper Room in Jerusalem to await the promise. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:1-4).

The rain of the Holy Ghost came pouring down on the day of Pentecost, changing 120 lives in such a drastic way they revolutionized the known world of their day. Only on the believers, the dedicated, consecrated, those who had gone beyond the traditions of men and were seeking Jesus, that rain of the Spirit fell. Those who were hungry, thirsty for the deepness of the Lord, those who wanted to be filled with the righteousness and holiness of God found these desires answered in the rain.

Daring now to go with Jesus all the way, the disciples followed Him to the Mount of Ascension and watched Him taken up out of sight into Heaven. They saw His feet leave the ground. As Jesus rose, the disciples knew at last He was the Living Christ who could do anything; and He would return to Earth again just like He said.

As they stood there in wonderment, angels appeared unto them saying: Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven (Acts 1:11). This same Jesus—not another Jesus—but the same Jesus will come again in like manner! Look for Him! No power of the enemy can keep Him from coming back. God’s faith assured them that He would come again. This rain of the Holy Spirit, this miraculous rain launched the faithful Early Church on its sacred mission.

Through reading Joel, the disciples had learned of the rain, early and latter: But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy (Acts 2:16-18).

On the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit rained down in such a great way that people were totally possessed by Him, Peter told the onlookers: These are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel (Acts 2:15,16). They were not intoxicated with strong drink; their exuberance was because of the rain, the rain of the Holy Spirit. And they were speaking in other tongues, in probably sixteen languages at least. It was all in the rain. This is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; this is that for which their parched souls had waited so long. They didn’t understand about the latter rain when Jesus walked with them, but now the rain fell; now they had understanding. The Holy Spirit came to tabernacle with them. Before Jesus left them, the Holy Spirit would move in and out; but at Pentecost He moved in to stay. With Him came understanding of their hour, of why Jesus was born, what He was born for.

At last the Crucifixion was no longer a mystery to Peter; he had the whole plan of salvation laid out in his spirit through the Holy Spirit Himself. Peter was standing up—he who had done anything but stand during the trial of Jesus. Oh, in the Garden he had stood up with a sword in his hand; but it only required human flesh, blood and temper to cut off a man’s ear. It takes God to put that ear back on. In the rain of the Holy Spirit we are not looking for ears to cut off but to use the power of God to heal ears so people can hear what the Spirit is saying. What a glorious time! The rain changed Peter completely, Peter who once had been so weak, Peter who had willed to do good but couldn’t follow through, Peter who had more temper than Spirit to control it. Now Peter, baptized in the Holy Spirit, is totally possessed by the Spirit along with the rest. It was all in the rain.

By the thousands, people came to the Lord because the pouring down rain of the Spirit had changed those 120 in the Upper Room so completely that they lost sight of all else. It didn’t matter whether their families believed or not. They believed. No one could stop their testimonies; no one could keep them from assembling—even in caves. Eager to discover what God was going to do next, to see the manifestations of the Holy Spirit, they didn’t criticize, tattle or gossip. Their tongues had been shortened and seasoned with the speech of the Lord and the grace of God. In perfect unity with the Lord, they held up Jesus. What a difference the Holy Spirit had made! It was all in the rain.

Miracles by the Numbers in the Rain

Yes, the plan and the power of the Resurrection were clear now. At last the disciples were ready to preach: “It’s all in the rain of the Holy Spirit!”

By the numbers, miracles took place in the name of Jesus. Their ministry would be greater than the ministry of Christ. Jesus had foretold it: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (John 14:12). And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever (verse 16). The Comforter had come—the Holy Ghost—and now as Jesus had said, the believers would lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:18). It was all in the rain of the Holy Spirit. Jesus also told them that in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues (Mark 16:17). Then in Acts 2:39 we find that the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. The rain is for believers.

Although the rain is pouring down today, there are those who call it fanaticism and fail to receive any of the glorious benefits of the Holy Spirit’s rain. Anything that comes from Heaven is not fanaticism, not counterfeit. What God sends to His people is the real thing, blessings to shout over and rejoice about, promises to reach out for and hug to your bosom. His rain for your life is His strength, His courage, His greatness, His health, His help for you to use. In this rain of the Holy Spirit is everything you need, all the love you need, all the nine fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance (Galatians 5:22,23). Let the fruits of the Spirit lodge in your heart, producing and reproducing themselves greatly in your life. Let the fruit of the Spirit be in evidence in whatever you do, say and think. It’s all in the rain.

In the early rain, the healing power of God was manifested again and again. Shortly after Pentecost, Peter and John, on their way to the temple to pray, met a man lame from birth, a man who had gone to the gate Beautiful to beg alms. Peter, looking steadfastly at him, said: Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God (Acts 3:6-8). Notice that Peter said he had it—the power of the Holy Ghost to heal the sick. That power came through the rain. Call it fanaticism, call it whatever you want; the man leaped up, praising God as he went into the temple.

Hypocrites today cry fanaticism in the face of the miracles of God, claiming them to be manifestations of the devil, or at best figments of the imagination. If these things were of the devil or even imaginary, the hypocrites themselves would be taken in; but since the manifestations of the rain of the Holy Spirit are the work of God, those without His faith receive nothing.

The man healed by the gate Beautiful knew his miracle came from God, and he gave God the glory for it. And so it went: the miracles, the healings in the Early Church demonstrated again and again the greatness and wisdom of God.

Most of the disciples were uneducated; but suddenly they could preach Jesus, suddenly they could teach about Him, suddenly every one of them had His message and the tongue of fire of the Holy Spirit. Lives were transformed instantly. It was all in the rain, the rain of the Holy Spirit.

In the Holy Spirit rain is power to trample devils underfoot, power to conquer all the power of Lucifer. Jesus said, Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). We need fear nothing when our protection is in the rain of the Holy Spirit, in the power that brings God’s miracles to mankind.

In parable, Jesus tells us to watch for the miracle of His coming: Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when He cometh shall find watching…And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not (Luke 12:37,39,40). Jesus is coming after a people who are looking for Him. Do you have “looking” faith in your soul? It’s all in the rain. The rain of the Holy Spirit gives vision of the coming of the Lord.

God’s Word Multiplied by the Rain

The rain of the Holy Spirit gave the disciples such vision that they knew they were members of the great commission. They had the “go ye” to accomplish the words of Jesus when He said: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world (Matthew 28:19,20). Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15). Tell the good news; tell it to everyone. The more the Early Church was persecuted, the more they spread the Gospel as they were scattered into new areas. Not counting their own lives dear, they had life in Jesus Christ, eternal life. Possessing God’s salvation, redemption, they discovered the gate back into Eden—and they knew it. Now without a doubt they clung to the vision of the hour: it all came with the rain, the rain of the Holy Spirit. Messages of God poured forth through the power of the Holy Ghost. Not filled with ideas of people but with thoughts of God, the apostles cried: Thus saith the Lord! Thus saith the Lord! Thus saith the Lord!

Holy vessels carried the Gospel, just as holy as the Bible itself. The heathen nations don’t need preachers who live like the devil to show them how to worship the True and Living God; they need to hear the Gospel from vessels as holy as those in the Early Church. “Jesus is the Christ!” the apostles cried. “Take of His life; drink of the Living Water that will never run dry—Jesus!” Jesus served living water to the people; and, alive in the Spirit, the Early Church served healing, salvation and miracles just like Jesus. They had it all, those servants of God, those dedicated instruments for the Master’s use. It was all in the rain.

And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith (Acts 6:7). The word of God grew and multiplied (Acts 12:24). The Word of God grew larger and larger, spreading out in an ever-increasing area and defeating the enemy. No power can stand before the Word of God.

When the devil had come to Jesus on the Mount of Temptation, Jesus turned him back three times with it is written. How wonderful to use the Word of God, to see it go into action! Never tell the devil what you think; tell him what the Word says. Only God-talk can defeat the devil. Even Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil over the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee (Jude 9). Michael didn’t rebuke the devil; he knew the Lord was the One with power to defeat Satan. If the angels of God use the power of the Lord on Lucifer, how much more need we do the same! Angels know Satan and they know God; they know it takes the power of God’s Word in action to defeat Satan. It’s all in the rain.

But the Rain Also Brings Judgment

When the Early Church received the early part of the rain of the Holy Spirit, their minds were clear as crystal; God’s plan had been laid open to them, and they were aflame with His holy testimony. The Holy Spirit kept God’s people pure and clean, the flock of the Lord.

God’s flock wasn’t very large, but the Holy Ghost came down and brought them together in arms of love. He was not going to let them become contaminated. When a man and wife in the group—Ananias and Sapphira—conspired to lie to the Holy Spirit, the Lord killed them on the spot.

The deaths of Ananias and Sapphira spread warning everywhere: Great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things. And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people…And of the rest durst no man join himself to them (Acts 5:11-13).

God hates all sin. The Early Church had to be pure, clean and holy; and that’s the way the church must be in this final hour. God is going to have a people, a holy people; and He is bringing them together again today. The rain is separating, putting the lukewarm to flight as the Spirit of God rains down.

People need to fear God, need to know that those living unholy lives are worthy of death. If a preacher or deacon isn’t living right, God may well take that life in judgment. Everything God does, He is justified in doing. God is a just God; He was just in killing Ananias and Sapphira. No wonder the angels cry out in the book of Revelation about the judgment of God upon the sinner: Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; FOR THEY ARE WORTHY (Revelation 16:5,6). The angels testify not only to God’s love and mercy but also to the righteousness of His judgments. It’s all in the rain: the greatness of God, the miracles, the judgment.

Umbrellas Raised against the Rain

Why do some in the Christian world scoff at miracles and healings? They’re receiving none of the rain. It’s falling, but they have raised open umbrellas of doubt, disobedience, lukewarmness.

It wasn’t necessary for Peter to preach against lukewarmness, sin and corruption; those problems weren’t in the Church in the beginning—no raised umbrellas there. The Early Church had Jesus, His love, His holy living, His purity. It was all in the rain, and they loved it.

Thomas—what a doubter he had been—but in the Upper Room he received the rain. It transformed him. This rain will change you, too—if your umbrella is down, closed and tucked neatly away. Take everything the rain has for you, never doubting one promise in the Word of God.

Anytime you come up lacking in your walk with the Lord, check to see where your umbrella is. If it’s opened over your head, take it down at once. Close it. Are you having difficulty at all in accepting the Bible? If so, you have opened your umbrella of doubt, and the power of God is repelled as you complain about how God isn’t moving for you. The devil says, “You’re right. God doesn’t care.” There you are, companion to the devil under that umbrella of doubt—and you don’t even realize who you are partners with. If you would just lower that umbrella and let a little of the Holy Spirit’s rain fall on you, your eyes would be opened to the deceit of the devil; and you’d get rid of him in a hurry.

The Rain, Blocked by Man’s Reasoning

Are you really a believer, or do you pick what you want from the Bible and discard the rest? “I don’t believe ‘this’ is for today,” is the excuse many give for not accepting the whole Word of God in all its might and power. They are like the young minister fresh from seminary who discounted the miracle-working power in the Word of God. Finding a church to pastor, he started preaching not only a social gospel, but the supposed folly of accepting the Bible as it was written. An old deacon in the church sitting through his cold sermons wept, grieved that the precious Word of God was so misused. Confronting the minister, the old deacon would say, “Pastor, you’re wrong; it’s Bible. It’s for us today. God is not pleased with your message.”

The old deacon and the pastor had many a run-in. At last the pastor felt he was called to take his umbrella of unbelief and move on to another church. The deacon stood before him once again, this time with—of all things—a going-away present beautifully wrapped and tied with a big bow. The pastor was touched to the point of tears. “Oh, Deacon,” he exclaimed, “I didn’t know you cared. All these years we’ve had such vast differences of opinion!” The deacon said nothing, just stood there waiting. He wanted the pastor to open his present. “Again and again we’ve disagreed on the Bible,” the pastor went on, “and now you’ve brought me a gift. What love!” The deacon kept standing. Finally the pastor took the hint. “I guess you want me to open this.” Carefully he untied the bow, took off the wrapping. As he looked into the box, confusion crossed his face. “Deacon,” he said, “I think you’ve made a mistake! You must have wrapped the wrong thing!” Leaning over to check, the old deacon softly replied, “I don’t think so.”

“Why, I’m sure you meant to give me a beautiful Bible, but all I see here is just the cover!”

“Well, Pastor, I’ll tell you,” the longsuffering deacon explained; “every time you said something wasn’t for us today, I went home and tore out that part of the Bible. Now the cover is all I have left. I thought I’d give it to you as a reminder of what you’ve done to the Word of God.” The young minister, caught up in his own logical reasoning, had blocked out the rain of the Holy Spirit in his life as well as the lives of the congregation entrusted to him.

Many today “edit” the Bible like that young preacher. Were they to tear out all the parts of the Bible they imagine aren’t for today, only the covers would be left. “Why, no one has the gifts of healing,” scoffers claim. “Divine healing isn’t logical. There are no signs and wonders today like the Early Church had. You can’t have the Holy Ghost and speak in tongues. Be reasonable!” Man’s reason agrees with all of that, but God’s reason, called faith, says, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). God’s faith believes every word in the Holy Bible.

The Holy Ghost is a vital part of the Bible. Not until the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus did He begin His ministry, showing us that if we are to walk in His steps, we too must have the Holy Ghost. Were the Holy Spirit to be eliminated, one might just as well throw the entire Book of Acts out the window. Without the works of the Holy Ghost, the message in Acts would be blown out of reach with the ill wind of the devil’s deceit. Acts is really the Acts of the Holy Ghost through the lives of the apostles, telling us how wonderfully the rain falls when unhindered by man’s reasoning.

Discounting the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Christ, man’s logic enables unbelievers to mock the power of the blood and the promise of living free from sin. Claiming that man can’t live free from sin is declaring a great portion of the Bible null and void. The Bible is filled with facts on how God despises sin so much that no one with sin in his or her heart will enter God’s Heaven. The wicked shall be turned into hell (Psalm 9:17). The Bible states that if you sin, you belong to the devil: He that committeth sin is of the devil (I John 3:8). You can serve only one master, Jesus said; you’re either in the world or you’re a part of God. Narrow is the way to Heaven and broad the way of the world—just two choices. Enter ye in at the strait [narrow] gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it (Matthew 7:13,14). It’s up to you to decide which way you travel in this time of the latter rain and whether you block the rain with man’s reasoning or embrace it all with the faith of God.

Fortunetelling Devil Uncovered through the Rain

The early rain changed that old sinner Saul into the great Apostle Paul. Now people were in an uproar because Paul had cast out the fortunetelling devil from a girl. (Fortunetelling is of the devil who tells just enough truth to convince people he’s right and enough falsehood to ruin lives.) After Paul and Silas suffered many stripes across their backs, they were cast into prison and secured in stocks. But the more one suffers in the rain, the more the power of God is manifested. When God can find holy, dedicated vessels yielded to Him, He fills them with His glory and power. In that prison, God rained down so much power on those two vessels that suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed. And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house (Acts 16:26-32). God performs great wonders when the rain is falling! Suddenly the old stony heart of the jailer was melted, and he found Jesus. It was all in the rain.

Will you let the devil camp out at your house in this hour, or will you let the rain of the Spirit fall on you? The devil cannot bear the rain of the Holy Spirit; he hates it, detests it for he is defeated through the rain. He was defeated by it in Acts and the rain will defeat him today.

They Lost the Rain

Although the rain poured down throughout the book of Acts, in Romans we find something tragic has happened. Assorted sins prevailed in the Roman church—just as they do in many churches today. The church at Corinth and other churches had to be rebuked because of their foolish sins. The Galatians received a letter from Paul saying: O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?…Are you so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh (Galatians 3:1,3)? The Galatians had experienced the rain at one time—but they lost it. Many today have lost the rain; they’re not in it, and they don’t know where to find it. If they happen accidently to run across it, they all too often don’t really want it.

Do you lack enough love to bridle your tongue? Are you hidden with the devil under that old umbrella of gossip? The devil comforts you by saying you only told the truth. Who ordained you to tell truth that would hurt another, truth better left unsaid? Who ordained you to sit in judgment of others? God said to tell His truth, not man’s version of the truth. God’s truth delivers; and it’s time to use His truth, time to be spotless, clean and holy. It’s all in the rain.

Step into the Rain of the Holy Spirit

Those who stayed in the rain were victorious in the Lord; those who didn’t lived unholy lives full of sin. In the rain of God’s Holy Spirit you live holy, pure, clean as the rain itself. The fire of God is moving in this hour, the Word of God working; and God is raining down His Spirit on His obedient children.

If you want God to really move for you, step on into the rain of the Holy Spirit. The latter rain we’re experiencing now—the latter part of it—is to be greater than the early rain. Day by day, the rain increases, but persecutions are increasing, too. You will suffer persecutions for His name’s sake. Why? The devil hates you, despises what you stand for, and brings every demon as well as every human influence he can against you—and he can influence a lot of people today because so many have given themselves so completely over to the enemy.

This is not a rain for the faint-hearted: your trials will be fiery. Only with the Word of God can you withstand them. Through the Word, God will lift you with His love. As His love flows in you, fear is conquered, distress leaves, the night passes, and the morning brings victory. Remember, each dark night will end. When the morning comes you will behold what the Lord has brought you through.

There are many dark nights ahead for God’s children, many nights through which you must stay awake in the presence of your Lord to do all that He has called you to do. The valleys will be very deep, distressful; but the Lord will be with you to lift you up in His presence, to breathe upon you and stand you to your feet, clothed in His power, in His righteousness, in His goodness, and mercy. And no power will be able to defeat you who stand in His rain. His love is upon you in this pouring out. It’s all in the rain—just use it, use it!

In the name of Jesus lift up your heart to God in this rain of the Holy Spirit, and let it rain upon you and your home. Yield to the Holy Spirit; let the blood of Jesus cleanse your soul as you ask Jesus to come into your heart. If you don’t have the baptism in the Holy Spirit, seek it with all your might and let the power of God come upon you. Yield to the Holy Spirit; praise Him from the depths of your soul. Keep praising the Lord and let the power of the Lord rain down on you. Everything you need, all the power of Heaven is in the rain of the Holy Spirit, power from On High. This is the hour of God’s greatest anointing. The rain is falling, going forth pure and straight in this final hour; and there is no power strong enough to keep anyone from God who really wants Him.

It’s all in the rain!
