And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered…Then saith he [Jesus] to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other…And great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all (Matthew 12:10,13,15). Those who followed Jesus with all their hearts received healing. Stretch forth thy hand! What a simple instruction, but it worked. Jesus told people to do simple things. When they obeyed Him, miracles and healings took place: Stretch forth your hand to Jesus and receive. Stretch forth your hand and let your eyes come to normal. Stretch forth your hand and be healed. Stretch forth your hand, oh crippled one, and rise and walk. Take your miracle; take your miracle!

And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased (Matthew 14:35). Faith brought the people to Jesus.

And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace (Luke 8:43-48). Someone had built up her faith, someone helped her to stretch out her hand, and she turned to the One who had all power, believing she would be healed if she could touch Jesus’ garment. Jesus knew someone had stretched out a hand in faith and touched Him. That simple act of faith brought the miracle. And the woman was made whole from that hour (Matthew 9:22).

All the Lord is looking for is a pure act of faith that brings a pure act of His perfect love. By faith reach out and touch Him. When you touch the Lord in faith, you will receive. Faith people besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole (Matthew 14:36). People heard how the woman with an issue of blood had received her miracle; their faith went up and they received miracles the same way. We have no record of people being healed by touching the garment of Jesus until the woman with the issue of blood was healed. All they had to do was reach out in faith and touch Him, stretch out their hands.

Believers receive for themselves, and believers receive for others. Jesus said, They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:18). Although God is all powerful, because He gave man free will, He needs a little cooperation from man. He doesn’t expect you to perform some great act; He wants you to do something very simple in faith. God knows we are simple beings.

Down through the years many have used the gifts operating through me as their point of contact, believing the miracle or healing would happen when I touched them. I touched them, they released their faith, and the miracle took place. People use the blest cloths as points of contact to release their faith and receive miracles that way. People release their faith when believers lay hands on them. They release their faith when they claim the promises of healing in the Word of God. Healing is received in many ways. God honors faith.

Everyone Has a Measure of Faith

And he [Jesus] said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole (Luke 17:19). Faith made this leper whole. If you expect to receive from God you must use your faith. It isn’t enough to say you have faith; you must use it. Some people talk about their faith, sing a lullaby to it but never use it.

Where does faith come from? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). Faith comes by hearing—and believing—the Word of God. Child of God, never say you have no faith; that would be disputing the Word of God. The devil will tell you that you have no faith, but the Bible lets you know that God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). Faith is a gift from God.

When someone gives you a gift, it is your possession. You who are born again used the gift of faith, that measure that God gave you, to receive salvation and make it your personal possession. Now use it to make healing your personal possession, too. God’s love belongs to you. He lays no claim to it; He gives it to you for time and eternity. You have faith; use it to stretch forth your hand and touch Jesus.

The hand of faith, the hand of love touches Jesus. He is passing your way today just as He passed the way of the woman who was healed so many, many years ago, the way so many others were healed who touched His garment. They all were made perfectly well when they reached out with the faith of God.

Divine Blood Brings the Miracle

Faith in God heals the sick. Faith in God delivers those who are bound. For I am the Lord that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26). Why would anyone dispute God’s Word? God spoke it, and it can’t be changed. All you have to do is claim His promise. Don’t let devil or man hinder you from using His Word. Why check to see how many others are receiving miracles—or not receiving them—before you decide you can be healed? Look to the promises of God and receive. His promises are to each individual; the promises of healing are promises to you.

Divine blood brings the miracle; it has to be divine blood to make you whole, to kill all the contamination in your body. Divine blood power re-creates any part of the body. In faith reach out and touch Jesus for the miracle. If you need an eardrum, all you have to do is reach out and touch the One who created the eardrums. Stretch forth your hand to Jesus like the man with the withered hand who was made whole.

Some people think there is a gimmick to healing; others believe, yet make receiving difficult. They shrink God down to the size of a man. In other words, they think God can do no more than man can do. In their minds they strip Him of His miracle power. God is bigger than all mankind put together; He has power to do the miraculous.

Jesus Is within Reach of All

You don’t have to struggle to get to the Lord; He is so great, so loving, so kind that He made it possible for everyone to reach out and touch Him. When Jesus was here in physical form, only a few could touch Him: He couldn’t be everywhere at once. Today He is all around us; the Holy Ghost puts Christ within the reach of all, and He tells us to reach out and touch Him; reach out and be made whole. Reach out and be made well. Is that not simple?

Two blind men stretched out their hands to Jesus in faith. He in return, touched their eyes, and they received sight. And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us. And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. And their eyes were opened (Matthew 9:27-30). They cried out to Jesus for mercy, but in order to receive it, they had to reach.

Reaching is done in different ways. You can reach with your voice, with your eyes, with your hands. As long as you reach in faith, the Lord will answer. Faith, the love-faith of God, has the longest reach of all, a reach that can touch the Throne of Grace. Reach up with that faith and touch the Lord anytime.

If you keep asking, Lord, where are you? you are not reaching. How could you know where to reach if you don’t know where He is? He said He would always be with you. I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee (Hebrews 13:5). Jesus promised: Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world (Matthew 28:20). To the end of the world and for all eternity Jesus will be with His children. Rejoice; be happy about it. The Lord moves in closer and closer as we praise Him. Thank God for His love and stretch out your hand to receive the things you need to make you a greater blessing to the Kingdom of God.

He Sent His Word and Healed Them

The Psalmist had so much trust in the Word that he wrote, Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee (Psalm 119:11). In Proverbs the writer instructs: My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes, keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22). Why not use God’s good promises? All the promises in the Bible are usable. You won’t wear them out. When you stretch out your hand to the Word of God in faith believing, you can be healed. He sent his word, and healed them (Psalm 107:20).

The centurion stretched forth his hand to Jesus, for he believed the power of His word. And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour (Matthew 8:5-10,13). Had the centurion not believed, had he not stretched out his hand to Jesus, the servant would not have been healed. But he stretched out his hand knowing that Jesus had only to speak the word and the miracle would be done—and it was done in that very hour.

Receive the Whole Loaf

A certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet: The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter. But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs. And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter. And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed (Mark 7:25-30). Matthew 15:28 adds these words of Jesus: O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. Have it your way; be it according to your faith. Jesus let her know she was not of the household of faith; she was a heathen, and although she seemed to be rebuked, she kept her hand stretched out.

Would you have backed away had Jesus spoken to you as He did the Syrophenician woman? She moved in closer, humbled herself more. When you reach out, be determined to keep reaching with outstretched hands. Although she asked for only a crumb, she received the whole loaf. With both hands she reached out. When she went home, she found that her daughter had been delivered.

Sometimes your faith is tested, even by the Lord. He wants you to use what you have; use your faith; use what He gives you. Just as parents want their children to use what they give them, what they teach them, the Lord wants you to use what He gives you. It’s time to use your faith, to stretch forth your hand to the real Redeemer, Savior, Lord, to the very Son of God who died for your salvation and healing.

A man came into one of my services saying that his wife was dead and his daughter insane, held in a padded cell. He said the attendants couldn’t even keep clothes on her, and he was not allowed to see her. I took his hand and agreed with him in prayer. I said, “Let’s agree that her mind will come to normal.” That very week her mind came to normal and he took her home. He came back the following week to tell me about it. He had never given up; he stretched out his hand to the Lord, found help, and he was thrilled to death.

God Honors His Promises

Thousands of years ago, the Lord made a covenant promise of healing, physical healing, to a nation. When Jesus came, He made a covenant promise of healing to more than one nation; He made the promise to every individual no matter the nation. Just as He made a covenant promise of salvation to all, He made a covenant promise of healing to all. He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Peter writes in I Peter 2:24, By whose stripes ye were healed. The blood of Jesus was shed for your spiritual and physical healing, but you must have faith in that blood. With His divine blood stripes you can have healing.

The Bible is for us; it’s a working book, a deliverance and salvation book. It’s a book with happiness, hope, peace, patience. A book of all books, the Bible holds promises that can supply all your needs for soul, mind and body. What else do you need? The Bible lets you know that you can have a miracle. Why not reach out and touch the Lord for your need? Never has He failed to fulfill one of His promises. Joshua told the Israelites, Not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof (Joshua 23:14). We can say the same thing. God has never failed us. Sometimes it might have looked as though He would fail, but He didn’t.

Jesus said, If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you (John 15:7). If His promise is not strong enough for you, what is? What will it take to help you? What will it take to make you well, to make you whole through and through? Jesus said, Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it (John 14:13,14). Ask what you will, but you must abide in Him, in His love, in His blood. The promises in the Word of God can’t be on the outside; they must live in your heart.

Don’t be afraid to ask the Lord for healing. People write telling me what they need, but they say they have a loved one who needs something worse. Won’t you pray for my loved one? They seem to think it might bankrupt Heaven for God to heal them both. God has more than enough healing for everyone who will believe Him. Every time you stretch out your hand in faith believing, He moves. God’s supply house is overflowing with His goodness for you. You have the power to stretch out your hand. Isn’t it about time you did it? You can sit around, saying you know it’s going to rain because your arthritis is acting up, or you can stretch out your hand, be rid of your arthritis and look for the weather report on the news.

At no point in the Word of God do we read that God wants us to be sick. Don’t talk sickness; talk faith. If you are sick, concentrate on the promises that will get you well. Talk love. In God’s love is no sickness or disease. The Bible says that every good gift and every perfect gift is from above (James 1:17). Poor health is neither a good nor a perfect gift.

Yield to God and let Him help you. Stretch out your hand. Faith made people whole who came to Jesus, and faith is still making people whole who come to Him today.

Jesus Sent Us the Power of the Holy Ghost

You have been made partakers of the divine blood of Jesus. That divine blood is your possession just as much as it belonged to the Son of God when He was here on earth, when He became very man as well as very God. Study how it worked, the power of it. He demonstrated the power of all the greatness of God’s promises for us and toward us. Jesus didn’t bring us anything that wouldn’t work. He proved what He brought us to use. He let us know we need power from On High, the same power He used while here on earth. What power was that? The power of the Holy Ghost.

John the Baptist saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him [Jesus]: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased (Matthew 3:16,17). The Holy Ghost descended on Jesus and then led Him into the wilderness to fast. Luke 4:14 tells us that after His fast, Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee. What a powerful Jesus He was when He walked the earth, and He is just as powerful today! Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to-day, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8). Yet we strip Him of much of His power by not stretching forth our hands. Many times we would have received had we only stretched forth our hands in faith. Instead, our hands hung down in defeat. We robbed ourselves, for we robbed Him of His power in our lives.

When you rob Jesus, you rob yourself and you hinder those around you; but you can become more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us (Romans 8:35,37). The power and the greatness of I-Am, the power of God toward people is marvelous to behold!

You, through the power of the Holy Spirit, can always touch the Lord. Do not go by feelings, but by faith. Faith tells you that if you reach out to the Lord, He will answer. Faith tells you if you seek Him you will find Him. If you stretch out your hand of faith, He will be there. He has promised; He honors His faith wherever He finds it.

Faith and Love Work Together

God recognizes His faith in man anywhere, anytime; He recognizes His love. Faith and love work together. Faith which worketh by love (Galatians 5:6). God’s faith will not work in you unless you have the divine love of God in your heart to go with it. Though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity [or love], I am nothing (I Corinthians 13:2). The more divine love you use, the more faith you use. A faith person does not have a critical spirit or talk doubt and defeat. Faith has nothing to do with fear. Guided by the Holy Spirit, you are detached from fear. Perfect love casteth out fear (I John 4:18). The Holy Spirit takes you so far away from fear that it has no dominion over you. Talking love will not work, it must be God’s love in action. My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth (I John 3:18). The love-blood-truth is powerful.

If you would see Jesus in person walking toward you, you would rush over, touch Him and decide at once you were healed. The faith and love of God will tell you that although you can’t see Him, He is right there with you in just as much reality, and the Holy Spirit is telling you to reach out. Yield now, give over and receive what you need. Let the Holy Spirit guide you into all truth. All truth is the Lord Jesus Christ. He said, I am the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). You have the truth when you have Jesus. If Jesus has right-of-way in your heart, if He fills your heart, then you have His truth that works through the power of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost will guide you on all the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

The Greatest Reaching Time Ever

In the Old Testament days the Lord manifested His greatness, His power in incredible ways. Anytime Israel stretched out their hands, God took those hands no matter what they had done. He was so glad they had reached, that they had repented. Then in New Testament days, when people stretched out a hand, God continued to manifest His power.

Today in this final hour we are in the greatest reaching-out time ever. The Bride is full of the power of the Lord, knowing the reality of what is hers, the reality of Jesus Christ, of the Holy Spirit that dwells within her. She will have all Heaven to serve the lost because she will be forever reaching. Jesus placed whatever she needs within her reach, and gave her the heart, the faith and power to claim it all.

Wilt thou be made whole? Jesus asked that question, and people reached. By faith you, too, can reach out and take something from the Lord. Jesus offers healing to everyone. His miracles weren’t done in a corner; He ministered to people in the streets, in the countryside, in the city, or wherever He found faith. His deliverance is for everyone and it’s within your reach. Let’s tell the world about it; let’s tell the unbelievers that Jesus is within their reach!

Salvation and Healing Are Offered You

Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Acts 2:21).

Everyone can reach out for miracles and healings; everyone can have the power of God flowing into them. Jesus died on the Cross for everyone. Reach to the Cross Jesus died on; reach to the divine blood that was spilled, and receive salvation. Everyone with a sincere heart who reaches toward the Cross finds salvation. Don’t make receiving healing hard; don’t put it out of reach. Make up your mind to receive salvation and you can have it.

If you don’t know Jesus, say the sinners’ prayer with me now. You can be rid of the condemnation of sin, be made holy and free to go in the power of the Holy Spirit. Oh, God, save my soul! I’m so sorry that I sinned against you, but I have come home. I will serve you, Lord, the rest of my life. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come into my heart!

If you believed that prayer, He has come into your heart, changed it from a heart of sin into a heart so pure that He can live there, and you can live in Him. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9). Praise Him for the marvelous delivering power in His blood, and go on to receive the baptism in the Holy Ghost with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

Now that you have found the Lord, there is nothing to keep you from reaching out in faith believing for any healing you need. He is the Lord who healeth all thy diseases (Psalm 103:3). It is the will of the Lord for you to be well. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth (III John 2). Lord, I’m your believer, and I come with your gifts, the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit. With your gift of miracles, your gifts of healing, bodies will come to normal, eyes will receive sight, crippled legs will be made well, paralyses will leave people, hearts, lungs and internal parts will come to normal. Heal! Heal that person with cancer who has not long to live! Heal them all, in the name of Jesus!

As I prayed I saw the miracle glory of the Lord, the miracle power. It was like a cloud. His presence went into your body if you accepted that prayer. Let it flow throughout your system; carry it with you in all faith, and watch yourself or your loved one recover. God’s blessings be upon you. The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up (James 5:15).

It’s time to believe God for all His greatness in this last and final hour. It’s time to climb the highest mountain, time to cry to the ends of the earth: Stretch forth your hand! The Lord God Almighty is ready to help you! Stretch forth your hand! The Son of God is ready to deliver all! Stretch forth your hand, and the Holy Spirit will take you by the hand and lead you into all the greatness that God has for you! You have nothing to fear, nothing to worry about when you let Jesus be your all in all. It is time!
