If you need a miracle, don’t give up. How sad to think of those who have given up when they were almost to their miracle! Years ago I was close to death, growing worse instead of better. I thought surely I was going to die, but I was almost to my miracle and didn’t know it. Let this be a light to you. You may be getting worse, but that doesn’t have anything to do with your miracle. When the Lord appears on the scene, it’s miracle time; He’ll do His miracle work on you. It doesn’t matter about the death angel being in the room. Oh no, I went to the edge of the grave, but then Jesus came to me one night, made me whole all over. From the crown of my head to the soles of my feet I was delivered, set free; and I live in the strength of that great miracle yet today. Miracles last, they really do.

Consider the effect that miracles still have today, miracles that Jesus performed when He walked among men. The ones recorded in the Bible we’re making alive as we tell the world about them. Wonderful miracles are recorded in the Word of God, and they are real, real, real. I don’t see how anyone can be a real child of God, blood-washed at Calvary, and not believe in Calvary’s miracles. How could people possibly say they believe in the miracle of all miracles, the salvation of the soul, and not believe in all God’s other miracles? If you don’t believe in miracles, you don’t believe in God because He is a miracle God; all of His works are miraculous.

Jesus said, He that hath seen me hath seen the Father (John 14:9). Jesus came in the image of the Father; He had the very same love, grace, the same miracle power, and healing power. Jesus had everything that the Father had, and how wonderful indeed!

Perfect Love Casts Out Fear

When you’re almost to your miracle, the enemy talks fast, doing everything he can to discourage you, to make you think you’re going to die. If he can’t create a lot of fear in you, he’ll do anything he can to create a tiny bit. Tormenting fear comes from the devil; God doesn’t send it. The Bible tells us perfect love casteth out fear (I John 4:18). If you have fear about not getting well, don’t worry about it. Why? You don’t have to pray and pray for that fear to disappear; just let the love of God flow. Perfect love casteth out fear, the Bible declares. If you’ve been to Calvary and have Calvary’s love, you have the kind of love it takes for the Holy Spirit to use. He’ll flow that love from your soul to your mind, fill the mind cup full and running over, and there will be no room for fear.

Jesus Does Not Change

Almost everyone who attends my services has had a miracle. If they haven’t had a miracle in their own body, they have had one in their home. It’s the will of the Lord for us to have miracles. We don’t just believe in miracles around here, we depend on them. It would be unheard of to attend these services very long and not have a miracle in your home. The Lord performs miracles in all of these services; He’s performing miracles today.

Hebrews 13:8, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Jesus does not change. When He walked among men, He did the wonderful, miraculous works of Heaven here on Earth. To know what He will do today is to study what He did yesterday. He’s the same Jesus; He works, walks, and talks with His people. He was the same yesterday, He is the same today, and He’ll be the same on tomorrow.

The Early and Latter Rain

Are you in search of a miracle? You’re close to it today. In the cloud of His presence, the gifts are in operation and the glory of the Lord is here. The glory of the Lord fills each service, whether at home or on the mission field, and miracles take place every time we come together. We never come together and not have miracles and healings, and that’s the way it was in the beginning of the Church. In this closing hour, the power of God will be greater than it was in the beginning of the Church. For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts. The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts (Haggai 2:6-9). And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit (Joel 2:28,29).

The early rain fell in the Early Church, and the latter rain is falling today. The Lord declared the latter rain would be greater, and it is greater. Think of the untold millions we can reach now by television, radio, the Internet and the printed page. It’s wonderful, wonderful indeed! The grace of God has made it all possible.

Made Whole through a Touch

Mark 5:25-34, A certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. This miracle is the work of the Master.

The woman with an issue of blood, no doubt, must have been wealthy at the beginning of her sickness twelve years earlier, for the Bible states she had spent all her living, giving the impression that she had spent a lot. Although she had spent all her wealth, she was not better. She had put forth great effort to get to Jesus. I don’t know how far she must have walked, how long she waited in the hot sun—and over there that sun can get mighty hot—but she waited until and got her miracle. There was no hope for her except through the Lord. When she heard about Jesus, she went in search of a miracle, setting her point of contact. She knew everybody was clamoring to get to Jesus, that she probably wouldn’t be able to speak to Him, and so she decided in her faith that if she just touched the hem of His garment she would be made whole.

Think how close she was to that miracle. Had she been like some in that crowd as she was bumped this way and that, she would have turned back. She was in an awful condition: weak in body, losing much blood, and probably looked like a skeleton. Nothing could turn her back; nothing could turn her around, absolutely nothing. This woman was within one more step of her miracle. She may have used the last bit of strength she had to touch the garment of Jesus for the miracle, but she had come with great determination. This woman with the issue of blood didn’t give up. Touching Jesus with the right love, the right spirit, she touched the hem of His garment with His faith, and the healing virtue went out of Jesus to heal her completely. What if she had turned back?

Signs Follow Believers

Some of you have come within one step of your miracle, and then the enemy got your mind off the Lord somehow, someway. You decided maybe you wouldn’t get your miracle that time, maybe another time. But today is the day; now is the time. The woman with the issue of blood had set her time; she wasn’t going to wait until another day. It didn’t matter how many insults she got from people, how many told her she couldn’t talk to Jesus, she was moving toward Him. While others were trying to get to Jesus to talk to Him, tell Him something, she simply believed. Jesus was the Word made flesh, and she was seeking to touch the garment of the Word, the living Word. What if she had not made that last step?

What if I hadn’t made my last step? I thought surely I was going to die, that in a short while I would be dead, but then Jesus was there. When Jesus came to me that night and healed me, He told me about this great healing ministry that’s going on now. He wasn’t going to let me die. I knew I was not going to die; I was going to get well. I believed every word He said. Oh yes, I was frightened, but I believed every word. I hadn’t expected Jesus to come Himself and heal me, but He did.

He’s here today; He’s the same Jesus. He is the healing one and to Him go all the praise, all the glory. I am not a healer; Jesus is the healer. He said, These signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18). Believers will lay hands on the sick and Jesus will get them well. In the name of Jesus believers shall cast out devils through blood power, divine blood power. I use that power and the devils have to go. No matter how many devils are in a person, they have to come out. Jesus proved that when He ministered to Legion.

Legion Unbound

Mark 5:1-15, And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes. And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him. And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones. But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not. For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country. Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea. And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done. And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. Thousands of devils had bound Legion, but they all had to depart. The city came out and found Legion clothed and in his right mind.

Alcoholics and Drug Addicts Delivered

Today people are calling the addiction to alcohol and drugs a disease. It’s not a disease; it’s demon power, devil possession. When the devils go out, the people are free; they don’t crave their habit anymore. Because they’re set free, Jesus can move right in, but they have to want Him.

I travel to other countries to hold crusades. Often during the services, the call is made for the drug addicts, the alcoholics. Coming to the platform for prayer, they are lined up. When I touch them, most fall in the Spirit, shocked and amazed. It shocks the ministers, too; shocks the thousands of people who are looking on. They know those alcoholics and drug addicts wouldn’t be falling down unless great power was coming upon them.

The expressions on their faces change as the power of God covers them up and the devils go out of them. The joy of having them say the sinners’ prayer as they give their hearts to the Lord is absolutely heavenly! They are set free by the delivering Jesus, the same Christ that set the devil possessed free so many years ago.

God Wants to Use His Power

We must not try to plan out how the Lord is going to heal us. People come in the healing line and say to me, “I don’t want to fall.”

“Well, stand up then,” I tell them.

We have plenty of people falling under the power. My ushers work hard to pick people up, and we don’t want anyone to fall unless the power of God comes upon them and they can’t stand. It just makes good sense to stand on your own two feet as long as you can.

Big, strong, healthy men go down through the power of God, and it’s unbelievable to some of them. Boxers and wrestlers have come into the healing line, and to their amazement, the Lord knocks them down like they were little dominoes. Down they go through the power of God.

God has power, and He wants to use that power. But some people are afraid of the very thing they need; they’re scared to death for me to touch them. I don’t know why they come into the healing line—they know I’m going to touch them if they do! Some would get out of the line, but they’re too embarrassed. After they’re lined up and all the people are looking at them, they hardly know what to do about it.

One lady, in the service for her first time, got into the healing line, not realizing what the line was for. The main reason she had come was to get a miracle for her son. Then as the service progressed, she decided, “Miracle or no miracle, I’m getting out of this place!” But it didn’t work that way. She saw people going up the ramp, and thinking they were going out the door to leave, she followed them. Before she realized it, she was in the healing line with her little boy and didn’t know what to do. She said she was too embarrassed to get out of the line, so she decided as long as she was there, she might as well get her child prayed for. When she got to me, her son received his miracle. After she had come for her son to be healed and was so close to a miracle, within a few steps of her son’s miracle, she almost went out empty-handed. Many times we don’t know how close to a miracle we are.

The Anointing of God Lingers

Some years ago I traded in my car. It was bought by a woman who didn’t know it was my car, didn’t ask who had owned the car. She had a child who had been born deformed, and while she was driving this car her son’s body came to normal. She was shocked, but the Lord gave her wisdom and knowledge enough to know that it was in that car her son had received a miracle. She wanted to know who had owned that car so she went back to a well-known agency here in Akron, Ohio.

“Who owned this car before I bought it?” she asked. The answer came: Reverend Ernest Angley, pastor of Grace Cathedral.

Several years passed by. I was taking great crowds to the Holy Land. A woman I didn’t know walked up to me.

“I want to tell you a story,” she said. “I bought a car you had traded in years ago. In that car, my son who was born deformed in his body came to normal; he was made whole. I just knew it had to be something in that car that did it, so I went to the agency to find out who had previously owned the car. They told me it was you.”

That anointing had lingered in the car. I wasn’t there, but the anointing of God was.

It’s the anointing of the Lord that heals the people, and He gets all the honor, the praise and the glory for it. I have no secret powers of my own; it’s all through the Lord Jesus Christ, the one who is the same yesterday, today and forever. I never doubt that; I act on it. My faith tells me what God has given to me, that Jesus has not changed, and as the people stand before me He’ll do the same for them as He did for people in Bible days.

Just Speak the Words

Matthew 8:5-10, And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. Just as the centurion came to get healing for his servant, people come from all over the world to get healings and miracles for others. They take this miracle power of God to heal their loved ones. It’s wonderful what the Lord will do if people let Him!

Jesus told the centurion that He would go with him to heal his servant, but the centurion said he wasn’t worthy: Just speak the words. The Lord marveled at his faith. The centurion didn’t claim to be right with God—he was a Gentile—but he knew Jesus had power. Speak the words—that’s faith in Jesus. Jesus spoke the words and the servant was healed.

A Nobleman’s Son Healed

John 4:46-53, Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death. Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe. The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die. Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way. And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth. Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house. The nobleman came in search of a miracle for his son, probably his only son whom he loved dearly. He got to Jesus, told his story, and the Lord let him know that the boy was healed. When the nobleman arrived back home he wanted to know what time the fever broke. When he learned that it was the very time that Jesus spoke to him, he knew Jesus had indeed healed his son. What if that nobleman hadn’t taken that step to find Jesus? What if he thought he needed to stay with his son? But no, the nobleman felt the need of finding a miracle.

You who have felt the need of finding a miracle, some of you are within one step of that miracle; just another step and it will happen; it will take place.

Raised from the Dead

Luke 8:41,42,49,50, And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus’ feet, and besought him that he would come into his house: For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him…there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master. But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. When Jairus had left home he knew his daughter was dying. He found Jesus and thought they were on the way to his house for his daughter to be healed. Then a messenger came and said, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master. But Jesus said, “Only believe.”

What if Jairus hadn’t taken those steps back to his home with Jesus? But he accepted what Jesus said, and his daughter was given life. Jairus had found the secret: Believe what Jesus tells you, what He says. He says much in the New Testament; it’s all there for you and me.

Man Is Limited; Jesus Isn’t

People ask, “What is faith?” Faith from Heaven is acting out what God has said. God said it, I believe it, and that settles it. There’s no doubt, no fear about it: God said it. He said, I am the LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26). We believe in good doctors, good hospitals, good medicines; but it was God who made it possible for man to have that knowledge. If God hadn’t put healing in nature, doctors wouldn’t have any healing to offer you.

The Bible says that laughter is like a good medicine. A merry heart doeth good like a medicine (Proverbs 17:22). There are good medicines, and we thank God for them. I go into countries where they don’t have sufficient medical help, and it’s pathetic. We believe in the wonderful people who help others. When you love people, you want them to get help; but when man has done all he can, there’s Jesus. Most doctors have that compassion to help their patients. A doctor may want his patient to live so much that he is losing sleep over it—but there’s Jesus. Many doctors today are telling their patients that Jesus is there to heal them. Doctors send patients to me. We’ve had many miracles on patients that doctors have sent to me for prayer. I’ve prayed for doctors who have been miraculously cured, miraculously healed, and the Lord gets all the glory.

Someone who was arrogant said: “I don’t believe you can heal.”

“I don’t either,” I replied. He looked hard at me.

“You don’t believe you can heal?”

“No, the Lord does the healing; He is the healer. I can’t heal; I don’t claim to heal anyone.”

I couldn’t heal a slight headache. I wouldn’t even be a good nurse; I don’t know one pill from another pill unless it’s marked, and then I wouldn’t know what it is for unless a doctor told me.

Lepers Are Cleansed

Only believe! There came a leper and worshipped him [Jesus], saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed (Matthew 8:2,3). Lord, if you will do it, you can make me whole. The leper was within one step of getting his miracle, just one step. Everyone else had run from him. It was a law that he must wear a bell around his neck and if he saw anyone coming his way, he had to cry, “Leper! Leper!” People would flee; I’m sure the disciples went the other way when that bell began to ring and they heard the cry: “Leper!” Jesus didn’t move; He waited for the leper to get to Him.

What if the leper had decided that it was against the law to get close to anyone who didn’t have leprosy, that he could get into trouble? But the leper was already in trouble so he went on to Jesus.

The leper knew he had the listening ear of Jesus. He took one more step to say, I know if you will to do it, you have the power to cleanse me. I don’t doubt you have the power; I just don’t know whether or not it’s your will to heal me.

It wasn’t written at that time that it was the Lord’s will for everyone to have good health, but now it is written. That man was cleansed of leprosy. Today it’s hard to tell how many lepers have been cleansed throughout the earth through this Jesus ministry.

It’s quite an experience to go into a leper colony. Although with the proper therapy the outlook for recovery is good, many people are afraid to go into such a place. Some years ago in a very poor country where the proper medication was lacking, I went into such a colony, sat down by a leper’s bed. I talked to him about Jesus and asked him about his salvation, told him he could have his miracle, that he could be made whole through the power of God. The Lord had healed others and He would heal him.

Lepers walking outside the building hid their faces; you could see only their eyes. It was because some of their family members didn’t know they were lepers. Many times the families didn’t even know where they were. The lepers were hoping that one day they would be made well somehow, and they would be able to go back to their families. But they said if it were known they had been in a leper colony, not even their own family would have anything to do with them. That’s pitiful; I have such compassion for people like that.

God Heals AIDS

Some people, even ministers, are afraid to go to Africa and deal with the HIV/AIDS victims. I go and lay hands on them, call down healing upon them, and thousands are healed. Thousands have already been delivered. The mail comes in with the reports that they’ve been back to their doctors, and the doctors don’t know what to make of their having no more AIDS in their system. One doctor had a person come back the third time; he just couldn’t believe the negative test results he was seeing.

There’s no cure through medical science for the HIV/AIDS virus, but the Lord has made a door into the hearts of the African people that opened by Jesus Christ healing the people of HIV/AIDS as well as all other kinds of death diseases. People are being cured, made whole; many are brought out of witchcraft, voodooism, and the darkness of hell into the light of Jesus. Miracles and healings are what brought people to Jesus when He was here on Earth—that miracle power. Jesus was delivering the people and multitudes came.

Be Determined to Receive

Jesus Christ is the same today. Are you in search of a miracle? Are you determined to get that miracle or have you given up again and again? Do you let the devil frighten you out of your miracle, make you think you’re going to die? Do you find yourself planning for death, planning what’s going to happen after you’re gone, worrying about how your family is going to take it? That’s out of order; get it out of the way. If you want to make sure they’ll know what to do when you die, write it all out, then put it away and forget about it. You won’t need it because you’ll be gone, so get it off your mind.

Have your will made out and ready, and a letter written and signed by you about anything else you want done. Put everything in there. If you have a certain minister you want to preach your funeral, put it in your will. That’s what my mother and dad did.

Are you going to keep seeking your miracle or not? Many people travel thousands of miles for one Friday night service at Grace Cathedral, and they seldom miss getting their miracles. Do you know why? They’re in search of a miracle and they believe when they get here, that’s it; it’s done. Their faith is Bible high, heaven high, and they use the same kind of faith that I use—Heaven’s faith. It’s wonderful to meet them later on the mission field and to hear them testify: I went to your nation, went to your service on a Friday night. I was just there one night and I had cancer, but now no more cancer. Isn’t that wonderful! Isn’t that great! They were one step from their miracle, and it seemed like a long step. Some people wouldn’t travel thousands of miles for a miracle because they’d be afraid they might not get it. But other people travel thousands of miles to get here for a miracle, and they just know they’ll get it. Many travel with their babies to get a miracle for them. What if they would give up?

I remember so well a man from the Fiji Islands who flew in here to get his baby healed. The baby had been born blind. I had never seen cataracts like that; it’s hard to tell how many cataracts were there; they were stacked up one upon another. It looked like a mass of cataracts piled up. I can’t really describe it like it should be described in a medical way, but it was spooky to look at that baby’s eyes. That baby never would have seen the light of day had not God intervened. The father had the baby prayed for and then he had to go back home. Shortly after that, we received a letter from the man. He wrote, “I brought my blind baby to you for prayer, and now my baby sees.” That step was put forth with great effort; that sacrifice, like the sacrifice of the woman with the issue of blood, brought results.

Maybe you’re an invalid; maybe you have cancer or tuberculosis. I receive letters from all over the world telling of people being delivered of cancer and TB, as well as other diseases; there is much TB in Africa. In each crusade many thousands receive their miracles. They come to the services within one step of their miracle. If they give up witchcraft, voodooism, if they promise God to live for Him, He will heal them for His honor and glory; but they must give Him all the honor, praise, and glory; they must serve Him.

Sin No More

The Lord healed a man who hadn’t walked for thirty-eight years. Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked (John 5:2-9). The impotent man was unsaved; he was a sinner when Jesus healed him. When Jesus saw him later, He told him to sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee (John 5:14).

You can’t go away from God and expect to keep your miracle. I remember the story of a woman who attended one of my crusade services. She had arthritis so severe she couldn’t comb her hair—and hadn’t for two years, she said. She was in a hopeless, helpless condition, and the Lord made her absolutely whole. But she believed that when God gave people a miracle, they could keep it, that He would never let the affliction come back. She was wrong.

I went back a few years later. This same woman came again for prayer. She had backslidden and was once again in a hopeless, helpless condition. The first thing she did was make her confession.

“Do you remember when you were here and prayed for me and the Lord brought me out of that awful condition?” she asked. “Others had to wait on me, take care of me, comb my hair and dress me. I believed that when you got a miracle from God, He would never take it away. But I backslid on the Lord, and my affliction has returned.”

Jesus told the impotent man that if he sinned, his miracle would go and probably something worse would come in its place, too.

I helped that woman get back to God; He was merciful, and healed her that night as well. God is merciful when you take the right step, and she took the step, humbled herself, came back and confessed to that whole crowd of people what she had done against God. I’m sure her story lived in the hearts of those people, especially those who knew her. It lived in my heart so much that I put it in one of the books I wrote. I wanted people to know about her testimony.

Only One More Step

You are within one step of your miracle; one more step and you will be there. The devil is saying that you’re going to die; you’re not going to live. However, you’re within one step of being made every whit whole, just one step. With the Lord’s help if I can get you to make that one last step, you’ll have your miracle. It happened to me, and it will happen to you. Shortly before Jesus came and healed me, I was sure my life was over. I was just twenty-three years old and my life was about gone. I was growing worse instead of better, and the pain, the agony of it all! Oh, how I wanted to live and preach the Gospel! I had started preaching at eighteen, and now five short years later, I was in a dying condition. But then the Lord healed me, enhanced the ministry. He gave me His ministry to take His healing to the nations, and that’s what I’m doing. I’m taking the healing power, the miracle power of Jesus all over the world in one form or another, and it’s wonderful indeed!

Are you within one step of your miracle? Do you dare let the enemy make you have one doubt? Do you dare think it won’t happen for you? Don’t let the devil give you one of his thoughts; take the thoughts of the Lord. In the fourth chapter of Philippians, Paul numbered six things to think on pertaining to the Bible, to God, to Heaven and the greatness of the Lord. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8).

God Has Armfuls of Miracles to Share

Think on the miracle God is about to give you; it will help you get ready for it because it becomes a part of you. Don’t think any other way but that your miracle is coming. No matter how much pain you’re in, decide you’re within one step of your miracle and you’ll make it. Take that step in the faith and love of God, wrapped up in the garment of His promises, and the miracle is yours. It’s just that simple because the Lord does it.

I’ve seen those with paralysis who were gloriously healed. I will never forget one woman who had had a stroke. Her mouth was drawn way over to the side, and it was awful, terrible for any human being to look like that. The Lord moved on me just to pat her face in the name of Jesus, to pat her with the power of God. Every time I touched her, her mouth moved a little bit. I stood there patting her face and watching her mouth move through faith in God until her mouth was in place, and she was normal. That’s God’s miracle power.

The Lord has armfuls of miracles to share with this people; you can have your miracle. Many of you right now are within one step of your miracle and don’t realize it. You who have AIDS, don’t you know you’re just one step away from a miracle? But first you’ve got to make it into salvation, into the greatness of God.

Salvation and Healing

You who are unsaved or unsure about your salvation, lift up your hands and say the sinners’ prayer with me. Oh, God, save my soul! I’m so sorry that I sinned against you, but I’ve come home. I’m going to serve you, Lord, the rest of my life. I believe that I’m one step from my salvation and I take that step right now. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus; come on in, Jesus!

If you meant that prayer, Jesus has come; Jesus is yours.

I believe in miracles because I believe in God, and I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He will heal you. Lord, I come with your Word, your power, your greatness. Holy Lord God Almighty, I feel the quickening power of the Holy Spirit. If you have AIDS, I command the AIDS to be rendered helpless in your body and the bodies of those afflicted in your family, for the whole family to be healed, delivered right now of the AIDS virus. I put their awful conditions under the blood, which Jesus taught me to do. Heal! in the mighty power of the Lord. Heal! in the holy blood-name of Jesus. Heal! Heal!

Feel His power and His presence now. Sense the glory of the Lord that is there where you are. Jesus is right there making you well or making that little one well. Watch yourself get well and write and tell me about it.

You who are healed of AIDS, we won’t give your name. We will only tell the country you are from, but your testimony will be used on my television programs for the world to hear about your miracle. The testimonies help others to get their miracles. God’s blessings rest upon you.
