I Found It at Calvary through the Blood of the Lamb
by Ernest Angley
February 2014
I found a new life when I found Jesus; and if you didn’t find a new life when you found Him, then you never really found Him. This new life is not a cover-up or a dose of “do better”; it is real Holy Ghost salvation through the blood of Jesus, the One who was born of the Virgin Mary and brought us abundant life and the new and living way. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh (Hebrews 10:19,20).
Jesus Gives Real Life
I grew up with great love in my family, so the Lord could not get to me through love; He had to use judgment. Before I found the Lord, I thought I had freedom in my life; and I thought I would lose it all if I got saved because I knew you had to give up every sin. I intended to get right with God someday, maybe when I was about 90; however, that was not God’s plan for my life. He meant for me to get saved when I was 18, and He wouldn’t let go of me. He followed me everywhere I went saying, “What if Jesus would come while you are in a place like this?” When I would start to turn out the light at night, a voice would say, “What if you turn out that light, and you are in the dark forevermore?” I knew that if I died, I would go to hell; and one night, God held me over hell, and I could actually see the smoke coming up around me. If that won’t scare you, nothing will.
I had always associated sin and life together, but there is no life in sin. Sinners are eternally dead and headed straight for hell. If you are a real child of God, you do not commit willful sin; and if you do, it is because you are not really saved. If you were, the blood would be in your soul to protect; but when you sin willingly, the salvation of the Lord leaves you, and the Holy Ghost departs from you.
The Bible tells us, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Jesus gives us eternal life; and He said, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). The Word also says, And ye shall know the truth, and the truth [Jesus] shall make you free (John 8:32). Many people are in bondage because they don’t know the truth. We have freedom only in the Lord; and without Jesus, we have no promise of Heaven. The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:4).
Some people claim to be ready for Heaven because they have been baptized in water; but if water could wash away sins, Jesus would not have had to come and bring us divine blood. However, He did come; and when Jesus cried from the Cross, It is finished (John 19:30), the plan of redemption was completed, so we no longer had to live in sin.
First Love
Before I received salvation, I thought the world was so valuable; but it lost all of its value when I found Calvary. When Jesus put perfect love into my heart, everything changed. I had the Jesus life, and I wanted to be with Him all the time; and I never missed the world at all.
I had the wonderful first love you receive at Calvary, and that love will help you to live right in any valley and to climb the highest mountains. First love brings measure after measure of living, divine faith, not faith with feelings. Once you find Calvary, you must keep its love and hold on to its everlasting peace, knowing that the grace of Calvary is sufficient for whatever you need.
Jesus dictated letters to the seven churches through John the Revelator when he was on the Isle of Patmos; and He said to the first church, I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent (Revelation 2:2-5). Those people had done many good works, but they had left their first love. The candlestick is the spiritual Church; and if the people didn’t repent, Jesus was going to move it away from them.
You have to go to Calvary and accept the light of it, and then your life will be like a beautiful candle. The Holy Spirit will put your life into the candleholder, the spiritual Church; and its light will shine to those who are in darkness.
I Had a New Life
I changed when I received old-time religion because I had found the blood that stained the Old Rugged Cross. That blood had all the power, grace, wisdom and knowledge I needed; and it had the characteristics of Jesus. I had found the companionship of Jesus Christ, and I walked with Him. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps (I Peter 2:21).
I had the blood love of Calvary and the compassion for lost souls that took Jesus to the Cross. I loved everybody, even my enemies; and I was happy. I was complete in Christ Jesus, and I needed nobody but Him. Ye are complete in him (Colossians 2:10). I wanted to be shut away with Jesus and to learn everything I could about Him.
Then Jesus led me to the Upper Room and told me that I must receive the baptism in the Holy Ghost, power from On High, just as He had told the disciples to do before they started the Church. Behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high (Luke 24:49). It didn’t take me long to receive; and within five or six weeks, I was filled with the Holy Ghost, baptized in water, preaching and winning souls for the Lord.
Jesus Made Me Whole
A short time later, when I was just 23, it looked like I was going to die. I watched my body go down to about a skeleton; and I was getting worse all the time as more and more of my organs were becoming afflicted. I knew God had called me to preach His Gospel, so I didn’t know why I couldn’t reach Him.
I suffered so much; but then one night, Jesus came and made me whole all over. He healed me of all of my diseases and re-created every part of my body that had been afflicted. Then He lingered to talk to me and said, “Later, you will go on a long fast; and when you come out of that fast, you will have my power for the healing of the people.” I knew without one doubt that I was going to live, and I was in a new world of wonderful health.
Healing waters are flowing today just as they were in Bible days. Remember the Pool of Bethesda. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had (John 5:4). Some people have never gone into the healing waters, so those waters don’t flow for them. Only in those waters will you find healing from Heaven flowing in great waves for every kind of disease.
Study Jesus, and you will see that He didn’t just heal people of one thing at a time; He healed them of everything. The Lord said, Wilt [will] thou [you] be made whole (John 5:6)? Is that will to be made whole in your heart? Then take everything you need.
Healing Is for All
We minister to thousands of people in our overseas crusades, and it is hard to tell how many of them are made completely whole. God heals them of AIDS, cancer and all kinds of deadly diseases. God’s gifts work in perfection, and He lets me know how many different diseases are being healed. He points out people and tells me their ages, their mothers’ or fathers’ names or gives me their initials. Then they know exactly who God is talking to, and their faith goes Heaven high.
In one of our recent services, God pointed out a lady and told her that her husband had given her AIDS. Later, he had died from the disease; and some of her children had, too. As soon as this revelation was finished, there was a great commotion in one part of the crowd; and people were jumping and shouting. The next morning, some of my workers went to testify at that lady’s church; and the people there told our workers that the lady’s story and all that God had told her were true.
These things are living reality; and people need the reality of God, the reality of miracles and the reality of good health. You don’t have to be sick; that is the devil robbing you. If you are not well, it doesn’t mean you are a sinner; it means you can be healed because healing belongs to the children of God.
The Lord doesn’t forgive our sins one at a time; He forgives all of them at once, and He taught me that He heals the same way. Some people fail to claim that, but those who do are being made whole because they expect it. Signs, wonders, miracles and healings are bringing thousands to God wherever we go.
Sin Brings Death
Are you really free or do you have trouble staying out of sin? Everybody who goes to Heaven must first be living free from sin here on Earth or they will never enter the gates of Glory. If you commit sin, the Bible plainly says you are of the devil. He that committeth sin is of the devil (I John 3:8).
Jesus brought all the divinity from Heaven that we will ever need to keep us out of sin because there is no life or liberty in sin. When man and woman fell into the bondage of the devil, they began to murder, to lust after the flesh and to commit all kinds of sins; and they damned their souls. Millions of people are already in hell, and others are on their way. Many of them died having a church membership, but just belonging to a church won’t take anyone to Heaven. If they didn’t live free from sin, they didn’t have the liberty of Heaven; and they didn’t go there.
If you go to a church which teaches that you can’t live free from sin, run for your life! No matter who the preacher is or what he or she claims to be, that person is not right with God and is serving the message of Lucifer; and Lucifer is a liar. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it (John 8:44).
People will go either to Heaven or to hell. If you die with one speck of willful sin in your heart, you will go straight to hell and be sealed away from God forever.
A Brand-New Me
Calvary means victory; and that is where I was set free from all of my sins. The night I got saved, I went to church knowing that the blood of Jesus and the grace of God were sufficient for me because I had been raised to know much about the Word of God. My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness (II Corinthians 12:9). However, I didn’t know the reality of the Word until I had experienced it. Only then could I say like the Psalmist did, I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
As a child of God, you must realize that you are wonderfully made; and you must get acquainted with your new self. That was what I had to do because after I had received salvation, I talked different, acted different and thought different. I had none of the world’s music or dancing left in me, and I wasn’t interested in the world’s sports. I wanted only things that glorified my Lord, and I loved to be alone with Him.
God is wonderful; and I depend on Him for the wisdom and knowledge I need to help people spiritually, physically or in any other way. He is my sunshine at midnight, so I don’t have to look for dark nights or deep, deep valleys anymore. Now, I go over with the Lord and not under. If you don’t do that, it does not necessarily mean you are backslidden; but it does mean you will be depressed, oppressed and have a hard time getting your prayers through. You won’t have the liberty and freedom in the Lord that you should have, and that is not God’s will.
You can find sunshine in the darkest hours of the night, the Lily in all of your valleys and the Rose of Sharon on the mountaintop through the name of Jesus. I AM the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys (Song of Solomon 2:1). Isaiah said, His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).
Jesus is all of that and more, and He came to set the captives free. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised (Luke 4:18). God has anointed us, too, and I treasure His anointing.
Live and Talk Like Divinity
At Calvary, I found that divinity was mine to use; and I knew I needed divinity to make me steadfast and unmovable in God. I had divine love, divine peace, divine faith, divine patience, divine self-control, divine gentleness and goodness and all of the wonderful fruits of the Spirit; and my conversation was the same as it will be when I reach Heaven. Paul said, For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:20). Heaven speaks only the love language. You won’t have to learn a new language in Heaven because you received that language at Calvary.
Human talk is cheap, but divine talk is priceless. At Calvary, I found the Pearl of great price; and I got rid of everything to buy it as the Bible describes. The kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it (Matthew 13:45,46).
Jesus is our Pearl of great price; and He said, Learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls (Matthew 11:29). I am always seeking to learn more about Jesus; and I have spent many hours studying Him, the most unbelievable man I have ever met. We will never learn all the characteristics and ways of Jesus Christ.
Eden in Your Heart
At Calvary, I found a wonderful gate back into Eden. After Adam and Eve had sinned, man was shut out of Eden. The gate was closed and judgment was at that gate. So he [God] drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life (Genesis 3:24). But when Jesus came, He brought salvation in the form of a Cross, the gate back into Eden for all mankind. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely (Revelation 22:17).
I received the wonderful nine fruits of the Spirit, and they made an Eden in my heart. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance (Galatians 5:22,23). Those divine fruits became mine to use, and I use them on people wherever I go. I know all of Jesus can be theirs; and I cry, “Come to Calvary” because I want them to come and see Him.
I have told the Lord many times that I don’t want to live if I can’t win souls, and God knows I mean that. I never ask God to make me rich in money because to have the love of God is more valuable than all the money in the world.
Speak Unto Edification
Peter said, Ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory (I Peter 1:8). I found salvation to be all of that and more. Through divine blood, I was made a partaker of the divine nature of Jesus; and the Bible says that Jesus came to make us sons and daughters of God. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons [or daughters] of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). When we are born again, Heaven becomes ours; we are made to be equal with Christ, joint-heirs with the Son of God. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:16,17).
When you are born again, you are not the same person. You have a tongue that is full of love, a mind that is full of grace, and you understand the greatness of God. Then you must think on the things of God. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8). When you get aggravated with the devil, think on these six things; and God will anoint you to do that.
How much time do you spend listening to people who say the wrong things? Some people hang themselves with their own tongues, and God is ashamed of them. They can’t have the Holy Ghost because a long tongue and the Holy Ghost do not go together. Their tongues have erased their names from God’s Book of Life, and they will miss the Rapture.
Some people claim that they are just telling the truth. First of all, the Lord never told us to tell everything we know about others, even if it is the truth; and secondly, He said we should always tell the truth in love. People who gossip don’t talk in love. The Bible says, As ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise (Luke 6:31). Gossip is a far cry from what you want people to say about you. The Lord told you to be as perfect as God is. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48). We must be living, walking epistles of Christ.
Become a New Creature
Jesus told Nicodemus, Ye must be born again (John 3:7). Nicodemus was a great teacher of the Jews, but he was walking in the night. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born (John 3:3,4)? That was a dumb question, but Nicodemus was walking in the dark until the Lord turned on the light and gave him understanding.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). God will accept no other name besides Jesus, but some preachers today claim that people from all religions will go to Heaven no matter what they believe. That is plain deceit, and anyone who teaches that is dangerous to lost humanity; and they won’t get into the Kingdom. The Lord said, Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in (Matthew 23:13).
In this hour, God is moving people out of the way. Many Christians and even preachers don’t believe that Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, a child of the Holy Ghost. Such preachers are not fit to be in the pulpit because they have nothing to preach about.
We have to walk the highway of holiness. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life (Matthew 7:14). That gate is on this side of the narrow road; and we who are on that road have found the real God of the universe, a friend who sticks closer to us than anybody else. We have found the way of God in divine love and grace, in newness of life and without fear. We have found it in perfect, divine forgiveness, and we know we will never again doubt that our sins are all gone. We know the Lord’s promises are true, that He will never leave us nor forsake us and that we are walking in His divine will. For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee (Hebrews 13:5).
We Must Win Souls
I love the promises of God, and I try to meet the condition of every one I think I will need to help the millions of people the Lord has marked for me. When I was eight years of age, God carried me away in a vision into the stars. I didn’t know the vision was from God at that time; but years later, He told me Himself that those stars were the souls I would win for Him. We have to reach all of those stars, and you who are partners in this ministry are helping me to reach them; you have a part in every soul I win.
We have power from On High to work for the Lord and to keep us going so we can reach out with the love of God for lost humanity and tell them the story of life. We are reaching the heathen with the Gospel and bringing them in from the paths of sin by the thousands. During one great crusade, over 60,000 people received the real Holy Ghost in just one service. The Lord prophesied that night saying, “This is that which was spoken through the prophet Joel over 2500 years ago. I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh (Joel 2:28).” God will pour it upon all those who want His power, grace and love.
Saints of God Found Life
Study the characters of the Bible who loved the Lord and gave themselves completely to Him, those who climbed the highest mountains for the Lord and did His holy will.
Enoch pleased God and was raptured. And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him (Genesis 5:24). Elijah was raptured, too, in a heavenly chariot. And it came to pass, as they [Elijah and Elisha] still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven (II Kings 2:11).
The great prophet Ezekiel saw great waters from Heaven flowing, and he began to wade out into them. At first, he didn’t get any farther than ankle deep; but he kept going until he was knee deep, then waist deep, and finally he was in waters to swim in. And it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over (Ezekiel 47:5).
Some people never put forth an effort to get into waters to swim in, and they just float along. Thank God, Ezekiel kept going. Some people today are still wading in ankle deep water, and they think they have everything that Heaven affords; but Jesus paid for much more than that.
After swimming in the waters, Ezekiel was carried away to a place where there was nothing but life. Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the brink of the river. Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other (Ezekiel 47:6,7). God’s people are like trees planted by the rivers, and you will always find life there when you are full of the Lord and of the good Holy Ghost.
Take On God’s Image
The Bible tells us that God walks in us. For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people (II Corinthians 6:16). This verse shows how close God is to us and that He loves us just as much as He loved His first man. He spoke the sun, the stars, the moon and the Earth into existence; but when He made the first man, He got down into the dirt and said to the Son and to the Holy Ghost, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness (Genesis 1:26).
Adam and Eve were like God. When He looked at them, He saw Himself; but because they sinned, we were all born without the image of God. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me (Psalm 51:5). We didn’t look like God, act like God or talk like God; but at Calvary, a new life and a new heart are formed in us. Jesus came and taught us how to walk, how to live and how to get to Heaven. He left His footprints in blood, and the devil has not been able to destroy even one of those footprints. We can have the very image of God so that when God looks at His holy people today, He will see Himself.
Use Divine Faith
O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep (Psalm 92:5). We must consider God’s ways, but His ways are not our ways. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:8,9).
God’s way is the divine faith way. Jesus would say to the disciples, O ye of little faith (Matthew 8:26); but what He was really saying was, “O ye of human faith.” Human faith brings doubt, but one speck of divine faith will move a mountain. If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you (Matthew 17:20). The mustard seed is said to be the smallest seed God ever made, so think how powerful divine faith is.
Divine faith will do the work. At Lazarus’ tomb, Jesus said, Take ye away the stone (John 11:39). Then Jesus prayed a short prayer. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth (John 11:43,44). If you have faith to take away the stone, you will find victory on the other side.
Jairus was told that his daughter was dead; but Jesus said, “She lives!” And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus’ feet, and besought him that he would come into his house: For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a-dying. But as he went the people thronged him. While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master. But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole (Luke 8:41,42,49,50).
Jesus followed Jairus to his house; and when He had sent all the mourners out, He took her [the daughter] by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise. And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat (Luke 8:54,55). When you talk like Jesus, you will see Him perform miracles. You will become His hands, His eyes and His voice. You will do His holy ministry, not yours; and He wants to use our holy hands to pray for the sick and for them to be healed.
Jesus Brought Freedom
In Jesus Christ, there is freedom from all sin and degradation and freedom to love the Lord thy God with all of your heart. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed (John 8:36). The divine blood power will help you defeat every devil and every bit of trouble that come your way. Don’t let the devil deceive you when you are not living in Heaven’s liberty daily because Jesus flows liberty only to those who will use divinity. If you don’t have that freedom in your life, you can find it through the grace of God and the power of the Holy Ghost.
Liberty is life; and Jesus came saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life (John 8:12). He is also the living water. Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life (John 4:14). Jesus is all life, and He hates death. That is why He gave His life to destroy it. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death (I Corinthians 15:26).
We who are born of the Spirit of God have eternal life living in us, and we will not have any more life when we get to Heaven than we have right now. In Christ Jesus, we have all the divinity and help from Heaven we will ever need.
Jesus gave His life to put up a blood-line to Heaven, and we can call there any time because the Lord is always wide-awake. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:4). There is no static on the blood-line to keep your prayers from going straight through to Heaven.
Heaven Is Near
Jesus taught the disciples to reach Heaven, “in my name.” Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13). Jesus brought divinity, but you can only use it in the blood name of Jesus.
Jesus is at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us. It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us (Romans 8:34). The Holy Spirit also makes intercession for us. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God (Romans 8:26,27). With both the Son and the Holy Spirit making intercession to God for us, it is no wonder we can get prayers through when we have the blood.
Jesus told the disciples, He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38). That water comes from the river of life in Heaven; and when you receive the Holy Ghost, He flows that living water to you. The Lord told me that when we first get saved, the living water is like streams in the desert. Then it becomes creeks and rivers of divine love, grace, deliverance and God’s miracle-working power. It is a part of Heaven that has come down to us, and it will cover the Earth as the waters cover the sea; and then the end will come.
Praise Conquers Oppression
The end is drawing near, so there is no time for depression and oppression. Jesus came to destroy all the works of the devil. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil (I John 3:8). When Jesus was here, He healed those who were oppressed and destroyed all fear. God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him (Acts 10:38). For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (II Timothy 1:7). The Lord gave us the spirit of His love, the only kind of love that is perfect on Earth today.
Are you free to use that divine love? Are you free from all fear, frustration and despair, or do you let the devil make you think you have to carry all kinds of unnecessary burdens? You are supposed to be free, happy and shouting the praises of God.
People in my home started the day with prayer and ended it with prayer; and because of that, we had a different home. It could be five o’clock in the morning, and we would hear Mom and Dad praying. Not one of the seven children ever resented it because their prayers brought peace, joy and contentment to our home. When you wake up in the morning, you should thank the Lord for that day and for every day you have left. At night, you should go to sleep with your mind on the divine blood that has enabled you to live in grace another day.
You Must Give All
Have you found real liberty at Calvary, or do you have just a form? The Bible says that in the last days, the Earth will be full of people having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away (II Timothy 3:5). Either you are holy or unholy; you have liberty or bondage. Paul said, Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth (Galatians 5:7)? The answer is that sin had done it.
I am not in bondage because I have given my whole self to Jesus. I have freedom to pray and to live in God’s presence day and night. He can call me at any hour, and I am awake and ready to go.
At Calvary, you will find you can go from grace to grace, from faith to faith and from love to love. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace (John 1:16). For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith (Romans 1:17). This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you (John 15:12).
We cannot go from love to hate, and I carry no grudges because I put my enemies under the blood and leave them there. I don’t hate my enemies, but I hate their ways just as God hates their ways. However, I love their souls, and I would do anything to help them find God; but people have to want God and thirst for Him.
Receive the Holy Ghost
After you find Calvary, there is a baptism of power that is available to everyone, the baptism of the Holy Ghost; but if you do not thirst for Him and tarry for Him, you are not really saved. You are in bondage and have no liberty, and you are letting the devil rob you. He is making you think you have plenty of time, but you will be left when Jesus comes; and the heavens will be like brass to your cries for Jesus to come back. God’s true children will be gone, changed in a moment and in a twinkling of an eye. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (I Corinthians 15:51,52). All the end-time signs are shouting, “He is coming soon,” and receive ye the Holy Ghost (John 20:22).
You Can Be Free
Do you want to find Calvary and be free today? If you do, lift your hands and say the sinners’ prayer: Oh, God, I am a sinner. I have learned from your Word that not everybody sins and that souls who keep sinning will go to hell. I don’t want to go to hell! I confess I am a sinner, that I have sinned against you; and I beg for your forgiveness. Please, God, forgive me. I will sin no more, and I will serve you with my whole heart. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in! If you meant that prayer, He is yours; and you are His. Go forth through the blood of Jesus with nothing to fear and nothing to worry about.
Be Made Whole
Jesus went to the whipping post and paid in full so we could have physical healing. After Jesus had made me whole, I was determined to tell everybody I was healed; but the devil said, “You had better wait to see if you really are healed because if you are not, people will say you are a liar.” I could feel good; but when I would tell someone that I got my miracle, I would start to hurt almost every time. However, I soon learned that if I found someone else right away to tell about my miracle, all the pain would leave. Then one day, the devil gave up on me because he knew he couldn’t talk me out of my miracle.
In my house, we believed in miracles because we believed in God; but if you don’t believe in miracles, you don’t believe in God. Without miracles, there would be no salvation because there is no greater miracle than that of being born new.
If you need a miracle, you must give your life to the Lord at Calvary and serve Him or I can’t promise you healing from Heaven. The Lord healed sinners, but then He told them to go and sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee (John 5:14). I am going to agree with you now for the Lord to heal you. Jesus is the healer, and I am His believer.
Lord, here they are, and we are looking to you. Help these people to believe without a doubt and make them whole today. Heal those with AIDS, cancer, heart trouble, lung trouble, leprosy and any deadly disease and set them free. I believe for them to be healed today. Heal! in the divine blood of Jesus. Heal! in the blood-name of Jesus, the Son of the living God!
Feel the healing power going through you like I felt it the night I was healed, and I reasoned that no disease could live inside of me because of the mighty power from Heaven that had gone through me. Since then, I have been preaching the Gospel to people all over the world, and I am going to preach it until Jesus comes or calls.
Children of God, help me take the Gospel to the world. Jesus is soon coming, and so many people are not ready. You can help me make the difference and bring untold millions into His kingdom in this final hour before He comes.
