How Divinity Works
by Ernest Angley
July 2011
Do you really know how divinity works in the lives of human beings? Many Christians have never learned this, even though they may have lived for God for years. From the very beginning of my ministry, the Lord has given me a thorough study on divinity; but I’ve had to spend thousands of hours with Him in prayers, fastings and studying the Word. As a young minister, the Lord made the way for me to attend what was no doubt the greatest theological school in America at that time; and I was taught God’s truth by Holy Ghost-filled professors. Later, the Lord visited me and said, “You’ve been to man’s school, and now you’ll have to be taught by the Holy Ghost.”
The Lord taught me just as He had taught the Apostle Paul. He would call me away night after night, week after week and month after month to teach me demonology and to explain how the angels would work in my services. He told me I would have to know the Spirit of God, the spirit of man and the spirit of the devil and be able to separate them. He even went so far as to tell me that if there were ever any manifestations in my services that I didn’t understand, I was to ask only Him about them. He didn’t want me to go to any other preacher or teacher for an explanation because only God knows how His divinity should work.
I’ve had instances in my services where people would start speaking in tongues and try to give out a message from God when they really didn’t have one. When that happens, it feels just like someone has thrown cold water on me. I don’t allow people to speak in tongues at will in my services, and I don’t allow it at any altar where I’m conducting a service. I also don’t allow altar workers to tell people to listen to what they say and talk like they talk. I stop people from doing such things at once. When I was seeking the Holy Ghost, I would have moved away from people like that because I wanted the real Holy Ghost. You must recognize divinity and the working of the Holy Spirit in this last hour, so you will know if and when the real Holy Ghost is working through you and others.
God’s Plan Was Destroyed
In the beginning, Adam and Eve yielded only to the Spirit of God. They lived in divinity so completely that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit would come down in the cool of the day to walk and talk with them. God gave them all the answers they needed, and He supplied all of their needs. That was God’s plan.
God certainly didn’t plan for things to be the way they are in today’s society; it has turned into the devil’s world. If Adam and Eve had not sold us out, this whole planet would have been paradise; and the devil and all of his demons would have been cast into hell and the lake of fire about 6000 years ago. We never would have known anything about demons or devils, but man yielded to the wrong spirits.
Most people today are yielding to the wrong spirits without even knowing it. They don’t know the truth; and that’s why so many people are involved in the occult, spiritualism, witchcraft, voodoo and all kinds of devil worship. They’re deceived by the devil like Eve was, and they think they’re going to Heaven because they don’t know the truth.
You have to know the truth to be yielded to divinity, and the light of truth is now shining from Heaven. We’re not to live in darkness any more. The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up (Matthew 4:16). If you’re not walking in the light, you won’t be looking for Jesus to come; but if you’re walking in the light, you will know this is the season. Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it [my coming] is near, even at the doors (Matthew 24:32,33). You must believe God’s prophecies and know that Jesus is at the door.
Jesus Used Divinity
Jesus was born on earth as a human being, but He was a Child of the Holy Ghost. He came with divine blood in His soul and in His veins, not human blood; and He showed us how to live in divinity. He took on all the weaknesses of the flesh that we have, and He put Himself under subjection to all the powers of the devil. Satan had caused the first Adam to fall, so he thought for sure that he could get the Second Adam to fall, too; but thank God, the devil didn’t have a chance with Jesus. In the wilderness, Jesus used only divinity—divine truth, divine blood and the divine Word—when the devil closed in on Him, and the devil had to go. The devil won’t have a chance with us either if we’ll use divinity.
All of the works that Jesus performed on earth were divine, and He glorified the Father with every miracle. In this Jesus ministry, we never take any credit for God’s miracles; we give Him all the glory for every one. We know that the divine power comes from God and that He uses it through our lives. Thus saith the Lord, the more you learn to use divinity, the greater your works will be for the Lord in this final hour and the greater hearing you will have.
Jesus dictated to John the Revelator, He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith (Revelation 2:7,11,17,29; 3:6,13,22). If you have ears to hear the Lord and eyes to see what He’s doing, you’ll speak that which you see and hear; and you’ll become a great witness for divinity. You’ll also become a channel for the Holy Spirit to work through, and He will be able to flow divine things to you—divine truths, divine help and a divine supply for all your needs.
We Must Be Born New
You can’t depend on self to have victory in this life, and you can’t reach Heaven by living in the flesh. Only through divinity can you enter Heaven, and Jesus brought that divinity to us. The Bible says that we have been made partakers of Christ’s divine nature. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (II Peter 1:4).
Outside of Eden, man no longer had the image of God—how pitiful! God had tried everything He could to bring man back to Him before He gave His Son; but nothing had worked, and He finally had to give Jesus. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
The Bible tells us that there was a time when God winked at ignorance; but since Calvary, everyone has to repent. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30). Everybody has to be born new in righteousness and true holiness. Put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:24). The Bible also says, Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (II Corinthians 5:17). When the old passes away, you have a brand-new life; and you’re no longer a part of the world.
You either belong to the devil today or you belong to God; which is it? The Bible says that Jesus came to make us sons and daughters of God. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons [or daughters] of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). We were all born as children of the devil, and only through the divine blood and divine truth can we become children of God.
Jesus came saying, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). Jesus also said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber…I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture (John 10:1,9).
There are all kinds of different religions in the world today, and many preachers are deceived and teach that any religion will take you to Heaven; but the truth is that only one will take you there. Only one name will get you into Heaven, and that name is Jesus. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
There are only two churches today—the Jesus Church and the world church—and, unfortunately, there are more people in the world church than there are in the Jesus Church. The world church will play a big part in the first three-and-a-half years of the Tribulation Period because everyone in that church will have missed the Rapture. They all will have had a chance to have made it, but they didn’t live in divinity.
Enoch had pleased God, and only through divinity was the Lord able to take him to Heaven alive. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God (Hebrews 11:5). Elijah went to Heaven alive through divinity, too. Behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them [Elijah and Elisha] both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven (II Kings 2:11). The members of the Bride must also please the Lord, and then they’ll go to Heaven the same way that Enoch and Elijah did.
Use Divine Power
You must realize all of the divine power that is yours through the blood of Jesus—divine love, divine grace, divine peace, divine hope, divine patience, divine self-control, divine gentleness, divine goodness and divine mercy. The new you has to walk and live in divinity; and when you’re clothed in the righteousness of God, angels will be able to work with you. The Bible declares, Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14)? Angels work in all of my services, and I never pray for the sick without the angel of the Lord standing by my side.
Neither angels nor the Holy Ghost can work for you unless you give yourself over to divinity through prayer, fasting and living in the Word; however, many people don’t fast. Some don’t believe in it while others claim to fast but still seem to eat whatever they want during that time. Will they get anything out of it?—absolutely not! This ministry never would have been what it is today without much prayer and Bible fasting. I never say no to the Lord when He calls on me to fast, not even if it’s for forty days. That’s a long time to go without eating; but I do it through the Spirit, the power and the grace of God.
Divinity will help you to put self down, and it will give you a craving for the Almighty and for things which are divine. It will give you a great desire for nothing but the truth of God, and that truth will work through you to give you such a mighty vision for lost souls that you’ll be willing to give of yourself. You’ll realize that you’re not your own. For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s (I Corinthians 6:20). You must never forget that.
Live in Faith
If you want to please God, you must have faith. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6). Divine faith and divine love are more precious than all the silver and gold in the world. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Through divinity and becoming a member of the family of God, all the faith and love of Heaven are available to you. You can have and use all you want if you’ll just give over to the Holy Ghost so He can use them through you.
The Lord didn’t save you so you could go around looking down; you’re supposed to be looking unto Jesus. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Look to His divine blood, divine love and divine faith. These things will give you great joy, but I see so many Christians today who are unhappy because they live in the flesh rather than in the Spirit. They don’t realize that whatever they’re going through, they can still be happy in their souls through divinity.
If you don’t walk in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit can’t use divinity within you. However, He does His best to work with you from the outside to convict you of your wrongdoing and to cause you to want to come to Jesus and be free. The Holy Ghost is the One who uses the blood to make us children of God in the first place. Then He brings us into divinity so we can live in it, sleep in it, dine in it and work in it.
We Will Do Greater Works
Jesus said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (John 14:12). Jesus meant that we would do more massive works than He did and on a greater scale just like the Early Church did.
With just one miracle that the Lord performed through Peter and John, 5000 souls came into the Kingdom. Peter and John were going up to the temple to pray when they met a crippled man at the gate who was over forty years of age and had never walked. Peter said unto him, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God (Acts 3:6-8). Peter and John were full of the Holy Ghost and the power of God, and the victory was won! They had to suffer for it, but they were willing to suffer for the sake of Christ.
We’re doing those greater works, too. Thousands of souls are saved in just one of our overseas crusades as we sow and reap in moments of time. That’s how great divinity is. Those of us who go, walk like Jesus, talk like Jesus and live like Jesus; and it should be that way for every child of God.
This is what the Bible says about Jesus: For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth (I Peter 2:21,22). To follow in Jesus’ steps means to be just like Him; but you can’t do that without divinity, and you can’t use divinity without first using the divine blood. Only through divinity can you have perfect faith working in you that allows the Holy Spirit to operate all of Christ’s wonderful characteristics, traits and fruits through you.
The Works of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the One who operates God’s gifts through me; I can’t operate them myself. The Spirit is able to use me because I give myself to Him through much prayer, fasting and living in the Word of God. I don’t have a life of my own; I have given it all to the Lord so I can be everything God wants me to be and so I can help others. The Holy Ghost operates the gifts of healing through me as well as the working of miracles, the gift of discerning, the gift of knowledge and the gift of wisdom; and I give the Lord all the glory. I know that I’m just flesh without the Lord, but I also know what Jesus said: If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23).
I’m not a healer or a savior; I’m just God’s believer, and I represent divinity—God Almighty, the Son and the Holy Ghost. I represent His greatness, His power and His mighty works among men; and if you’ll yield to the Holy Spirit, He will work through you and make you a great witness, too. That was one of the wonderful promises the Lord gave in the beginning of the Church. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).
As a child of God, you have to live in two different worlds—in the body of flesh and in the realm of divinity—and only when you’re lifted up into divinity can you do the wonderful works of the Lord as the Holy Spirit works with you and through you. Only the Holy Spirit can reveal divinity to you; He will give you divine thoughts and guide each step you take. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come (John 16:13). The Holy Spirit will be not only your guide but also your teacher. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (John 14:26). We have to allow the Spirit to teach us during all of our waking hours, to give us the strength and direction that we need and to work the mighty works of God through us.
Jesus said, And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you (John 14:16,17). He also said, It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you (John 16:7). The Holy Ghost, the Comforter, is the Spirit of truth; and it will take nothing less than that Spirit to lead us through this awful hour of darkness just before Rapture Day.
To Be Like Jesus
Even Jesus had to have the Holy Ghost when He was on earth, and John the Baptist saw the Spirit descend upon Jesus. And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him [Jesus] (John 1:32). Why was the Holy Ghost necessary?—because Jesus had taken on the fashion of a man, and He had to show us the difference between the flesh and divinity. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross (Philippians 2:8).
We can be just like Jesus; but we have to take on the mind of Christ, and the Bible tells us that we can. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5). For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ (I Corinthians 2:16). The more you give your mind over to the Lord daily, the more it will be operated by His divine power.
In Philippians, the Bible tells us exactly what this kind of mind must think on; and all of these things are divine. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8).
Think God’s Thoughts
With divinity moving in and working through us, we can go before God’s throne of grace any time. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). How is this possible?—because we’re sanctified and made holy through the blood of the Lamb.
With divinity as your guide, you don’t have to worry about today or tomorrow. The Bible goes so far as to say that we shouldn’t be anxious for anything. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (Philippians 4:6). Some people are always worrying about something because they think the wrong things. The Lord said, For as he [a man] thinketh in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7). The Bible also says, Let the weak say, I am strong (Joel 3:10). You can be strong through divinity, the truth and the Word.
Some people always talk about sickness when Jesus brought the cure for all of our diseases. He proved through the power of the Holy Ghost that we can be healed of anything. And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people (Matthew 9:35).
Jesus was such a blessing to others, and it will take divinity to make you that same kind of blessing because you first have to be blessed before you can bless someone else. When you’re blessed, you’ll act like it; and you’ll know where your blessings come from. I don’t walk around looking down and depressed because I have joy unspeakable and full of glory (I Peter 1:8). Like Paul, I know in whom I have believed. For I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day (II Timothy 1:12).
Divinity Brings Eternal Life
Divinity will let you know that you’re going to live forever. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life (I John 2:25). You can’t add anything to eternal life because it never ends, and you’ll have no more eternal life in your soul when you get to Heaven than you have right now. When you’re really on your way to Heaven, you become just like a pilgrim and a stranger on this earth. You can’t be a part of the world. Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation (I Peter 2:11,12).
The world doesn’t believe in tithing and giving to God; but if you’re planning to go to Heaven, you’ll give of your finances and work for God. If you don’t, then Heaven can’t be real to you. Only divinity can make Heaven and that Holy City real to you, and only divinity can make the mansion the Lord promised to build for you real. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also (John 14:2,3).
It takes divinity to reveal to you that in Heaven you’ll never be sick or sad. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away (Revelation 21:4). God also promised to renew our youth. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalm 103:2,3,5). How can this be?—only through divinity.
Life Comes from God
We believe in good doctors and nurses, and many medical people sponsor this ministry. I believe in what they’re doing, and they believe in what I’m doing; but they know I do it through God’s power. Doctors use the healing made available through nature to help people; but even that healing comes from God because He is the God of nature, and He is the God of life.
If the devil had made nature, there would be no healing or life in it; every tree, every blade of grass, every flower and all things that have any life in them would be dead. There’s no life whatsoever about the devil and his demons; they carry only darkness and death. People who are controlled by the devil walk in the night and have no light. They live in the human spirit; and they carry human doubt, fear, despair and more, so they can’t use the love of God like they should.
The Holy Ghost is the One who flows God’s love all through us. The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us (Romans 5:5). He flows His greatness into our innermost beings, our souls; and as we live in the Spirit, He flows that greatness into our minds to flush all unpleasant things out of them…and we can have as many flushes in a day as we need.
The Lord showed us how to do all of this in just the short time He was here, so you can learn it in a short period of time, too, if you’ll give over to the Spirit. The Holy Ghost doesn’t work through animals or fish but through people. Divinity makes them into real, godly beings just like the first Adam and Eve were. Our flesh becomes sanctified, our hearts are filled with His glory and our praises go up night and day before the Throne of Grace.
When you send prayers up through divinity, they will be answered because the Holy Ghost makes intercession for God’s children. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God (Romans 8:26,27). Jesus Himself makes intercession for us, too. It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us (Romans 8:34). Unfortunately, some people don’t live in the Spirit enough to believe this scripture; and they’re always fighting things that Jesus has already conquered for us—doubt, fear, depression and oppression.
Jesus, the Healer
Jesus brought healing for everyone. God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him (Acts 10:38). When people are saved, Jesus comes in; and His healing power becomes available to them to heal them of all afflictions and diseases.
When Jesus was here, He healed all manner of sicknesses and diseases. And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people (Matthew 4:23). Keep in mind that although Jesus healed all manner of sickness, He couldn’t heal all manner of people. When He went to Nazareth, He could heal only a few sick folk because of their unbelief. And they [the people of Nazareth] were offended at him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And he marvelled because of their unbelief (Mark 6:3-6). Jesus had the faith to heal the people, but they wouldn’t let divinity work because they were full of weak, sinful flesh. But when Jesus went to Capernaum, He had a great, miracle revival. Why?—because the people there believed.
Without faith, there are no miracles. That’s why so many churches today don’t have miracles and why they think we use the power of the devil rather than the power of God. They are just like those the Bible describes: Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away (II Timothy 3:5). It takes power from On High to heal the sick, deliver the devil possessed and do the mighty works of God; and Jesus proved that when He was here.
Walk God’s Way
You can live as close to God and have as much power with Him as you’re willing to pay the price for. Jesus has already paid for everything you need, but you have to pay the price to yield self. Some people claim, “I’ve given myself to the Lord”; but they fall back into their old self again and again, do whatever they want to do and fail God. The Lord may be calling them to do something special for Him, but they’re not faithful. People don’t have to listen to God, but they won’t go to Heaven unless they do.
You can set yourself up to be someone great and important in the world’s eyes, but that doesn’t mean anything to God. The devil set himself up; but the Lord cast him out of Heaven, and He will later throw him into the pits of hell. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God…I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit (Isaiah 14:12-15). The devil is headed for the bottomless pit.
The only way you can have fellowship with divinity is to walk in the divine light, and I never intend to walk in the night. Before people get saved, they live in total darkness; but after they’re born new, the first thing that happens is for the divine light to shine upon them. That divine light makes a bright path all the way to Calvary, and it’s never failed one lost soul. However, many people don’t want that light. They may want to go to Heaven, but they don’t want to follow the light because in order to do that they would have to live holy. They have to give themselves to the Lord and please God; but most people want to please self first before God or anybody else, and they only want the will of God if it matches their will. I live in the will of God and the truth of God, and that’s why I’m free. I don’t just say I want the will of God; I want it no matter what it costs me.
Make the Right Choice
The Lord gives us free choice, but that doesn’t mean we can do whatever we want and still expect to go to Heaven. Many people are deceived about that, and what they choose to do is not usually what God wants. The Bible says, Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption (Galatians 6:7,8). Reaping corruption refers to hell fire and brimstone, and that’s why some preachers won’t teach the book of Revelation. God’s left hand of judgment is held up high in that book, and it tells about the end of this civilization.
God has had just about enough of people here on earth. If you don’t choose God’s way, you will have only the plan of the devil that you were born with. That’s why Jesus came to offer His divine plan with all the divine help, faith, love, strength and truth that you will ever need. He offers so much divine grace that He told Paul, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness (II Corinthians 12:9). If you use God’s divine grace, it will make you strong.
You can only be saved by grace. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8,9). There’s no freedom without the grace of God, and no one can save themselves.
Remember that when Adam and Eve went to the tree of death, the Lord cast them out of the Garden. God’s divine plan was to leave that tree in Eden just long enough for Adam and Eve to prove themselves, and then He would have moved that tree out of reach forever. Today, real godly parents should do all they can to move that tree of death away from their children and teach them to live free from sin.
So many churches today teach “once in grace always in grace”; but that’s a deceitful doctrine of the devil, and many people are in hell today because of it. They believed that once they got saved, they could do whatever they wanted to do and still get into God’s Heaven; but the devil is a liar. The devil…was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it (John 8:44). To be truly free, you must know the truth. Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32).
Jesus Provides All You Need
Jesus is your tree of life! You have to study and learn all you can about Him, but there’s so much to learn that you’ll never learn it all. You have to learn about His love and His plan for your life, about His salvation for your soul and the power of His divine blood. You must know that divine hope will take you into divine faith and the divine reality of the blessings you need. Learning Jesus will take you beyond all impossibilities and into possibilities; and it will give you the right walk, the right talk, the right way of living and the right way of thinking. Learning Jesus will even show you how to do business God’s way—in all honesty and truth.
Jesus will give you all the sight you need to see what He wants you to see—His truth and power in action. You will see the right hand of God raised high for you, and you will know that all is well. You will know that He will supply all of your needs and that the truth will separate the waters of the sea for you just as it did for the Israelites so many years ago. You will know that His truth will always protect you and bring you life. With the divine blood inside, your soul will live for eternity!
Through divinity is the only way to live. It’s more valuable than all the silver and gold in the whole world, and yet so many people sell their souls to the devil and worship the golden calf. They continually tear down their barns to build bigger barns, and they’re never satisfied. They don’t care about lost humanity, and they think we’re foolish to pay tithes and give offerings to win souls for the Lord; but one day, the Lord will say to them what He said to the foolish, rich man, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided (Luke 12:20)? The things that the rich man bragged and boasted about were just false security. The Bible tells us of another rich man who had also depended on his wealth; but when he died, in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments (Luke 16:23). He found himself being tormented in the flame of hell.
Divinity came to save us from that awful place called hell. We were doomed and had an appointment of eternal death upon us until we were offered life. How?—only through divinity. A passport to Heaven has to be sealed with Jesus’ blood or it’s no good. No one will ever get through one of those gates of Glory without the seal of blood upon his or her soul.
Don’t Be Deceived
I can never thank God enough for divinity, and I never thought divinity could ever use me like I’m used. No one is more amazed at the way God’s gifts work through my life than I am. I have no ego about it, only humility because I know it’s all God. I have no secret powers of my own, but many people seek power without caring where it comes from. Those in astrology seek information from the powers of the devil; and people also seek power through sorcery, witchcraft and voodoo. All of these powers come from the devil, and that’s why so many countries are in such terrible condition today.
The book of Daniel condemns magicians, soothsayers, astrologers and all other such people; and the Bible definitely speaks against false prophets. When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken (Deuteronomy 18:22). However, when God speaks, what He says always comes to pass. For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass (Ezekiel 12:25). Nothing is too hard for God. Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me (Jeremiah 32:27)?
You have to get all of the doubt out of the way and know Jesus. Paul said, That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death (Philippians 3:10). You have to know the power of Jesus that conquered death, hell and the grave. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory (I Corinthians 15:55)?
Examine Yourself
Search the Holy Scriptures and learn the truth. It will give you all the answers you need about how divinity works. The Lord tells us to search our hearts to see if we’re really living in His faith and truth. Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves (II Corinthians 13:5). It’s especially important to examine yourself when troubles come because we bring a lot of problems on ourselves. So many people just cry out to God saying, “I don’t understand why that happened.” Instead, you have to realize that you can get understanding through the Holy Spirit; and if you’re at fault, you need to know it. Always check to see whether or not you’re the cause of any trouble.
Many times, we get into trouble because we don’t use wisdom; but the Bible says, If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him (James 1:5). The Lord will never rebuke you for asking for divine wisdom; but some of you never ask the Lord in faith believing, so you don’t understand all that He wants you to. You fail to remember the scripture that says, They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever (Daniel 12:3).
So many people have nothing but misunderstandings. They misunderstand the truth and the Word of God; they misunderstand the love and the peace of God. They misunderstand when Jesus said, In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33). The Bible also says, Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all (Psalm 34:19).
We don’t always have to understand; we just have to hold the Lord’s hand and know we’ll be all right no matter what happens. We have to live by faith. Paul said, For by faith ye stand (II Corinthians 1:24). If you’ll learn this, you won’t always be saying, “Lord, I don’t understand why I have to go through all of this.” Instead, you can walk with the Lord through divine faith, and it will show you the way. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17).
Trust in the Lord
Many people bring troubles upon themselves because they’re not justified in the eyes of God. As long as you’re accusing or blaming God for anything, you’re in trouble; and you won’t get His help. Both He and the Holy Spirit will back away until you decide to trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).
Divine trust only comes through divinity; you either trust God today or you don’t. Just saying that you trust God isn’t nearly enough; you have to really trust Him and act like it. You have to embrace the truth with your whole heart and allow the Holy Spirit to reason with you.
What do you trust in? Some people trust in riches and possessions while others trust in their loved ones and friends. The Lord is usually the last one they get around to putting their trust in. Only when it seems like their boat is about to sink will they say, “Lord, don’t you care if we perish?” Of course He cares, but He wants us to know that without always asking questions.
When you don’t know whether or not the Lord cares, you leave yourself open for the devil to give you a big load of fear. You may be afraid to get old, afraid to die, afraid you’re going to run out of money or afraid you’re going to lose your job. The Lord came so that we could live holy and enjoy a bit of Heaven while we’re on our way there. Some people will believe there’s a Heaven to go to, but they don’t believe they can have a chunk of it right now. We must always know that we can have the strength of the Lord because He walks with us, talks with us and tells us we’re His very own.
When you keep asking questions and don’t use the answers the Lord has given you in His wonderful Holy Bible, you’re in trouble. You have to trust in the Lord, in His promises, in His grace and in His divine blood. The dark nights won’t matter when you trust Him because joy will come in the morning. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Sing songs of praise to the Lord as the Bible says: Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing (Psalm 100:1,2).
How do you trust in the Lord?—through divinity and with your whole heart. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:5,6). You have to give your whole heart to the Lord in this final hour, not just a little piece at a time. When you’re rooted and grounded in God’s love, He will have your whole heart; and that will bring the blood-trust which destroys all doubt. Then you’ll be in good shape to acknowledge the Lord in all of your ways, not just some of them. When you only honor the Lord in some of your ways, you’ll make foolish mistakes and fail to use the wisdom of God; but if you acknowledge Him in all of your ways, He said He would direct your paths.
Put on the Divine Armor
You have to know the ways of God, and they’re all in the Bible. When you really learn His ways, then you can do as the Psalmist said: Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart (Psalm 37:4). The Bible promises, But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
You have to claim God’s promises and take your stand. How?—by putting on the whole armor of God. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17).
This armor is all divinity. The shield of faith can stop all the fiery darts of the devil. Whenever he comes after you, just throw up that shield of faith and declare, “Devil, you have to get to God before you can get to me.” Then leave all his darts in a pile on the ground. Stop being afraid because the spirit of fear comes from the devil. With God, you have nothing to fear and nothing to worry about. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (II Timothy 1:7).
Understand Divinity
When you really learn divinity, you’ll understand how God works; but Lazarus’ sisters didn’t understand. They were waiting for Jesus to come when Lazarus died, and they didn’t remember that the Lord has all power. Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died (John 11:21). But Jesus told Martha, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God (John 11:40)? Why had Jesus not come to them sooner?—because He knew that Lazarus’ death was just like sleep and that He was actually on time. Jesus had waited for him to die, and He’d waited for everyone to decide that Lazarus was really dead.
Then Jesus spoke and said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days (John 11:39). That’s how we get into trouble—when the Lord is about to do something miraculous for us, we throw up a human roadblock; but if we will just move that roadblock out of the way, we’ll see His divine glory. Some will excuse themselves and think they’re justified, but no one is justified until they roll their stones out of the way. Why do you want to keep a stone between you and your miracle, between you and pure happiness, joy, faith, peace and love? You’re so close to receiving all you need, but you won’t use enough faith to roll that stone away and claim it.
The Bible plainly tells you that when you’re in the divine will of God, you’ll be all right no matter what happens. All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). Do you really believe this scripture? You may say that you believe it using human faith, but you won’t use divine faith; and you continue to talk doubt. When you talk right, you’ll believe right. When you believe right, you’ll walk right; and when you walk right, you’ll receive right. Divinity is really so simple. It will take your attention away from yourself and get you to focus on Jesus. When you do that, you’ll forget about your ugly self with all of its doubts, fears, oppression, depression and despair; and you’ll no longer say, “Lord, I don’t understand.”
Jairus Believed
Jairus could have said he didn’t understand when he stood before Jesus asking for a miracle for his daughter, and a messenger came saying she had died. But Jesus said to Jairus, Be not afraid, only believe (Mark 5:36); and Jairus followed Him to his home.
When they arrived, the house was filled with people crying and mourning; and the Lord walked in and said, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn (Mark 5:39,40). At that point, Jesus put everyone out of the house. Then He walked over to what the people had thought was a dead corpse and said, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment. And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat (Mark 5:41-43). Once again, the Lord treated the girl’s death just like sleep; and when we know the truth about death and about God’s power over death, we’ll treat it like sleep, too. If you’re not afraid to go to sleep at night, why should you be afraid to go to sleep in Jesus?
This wasn’t done in a corner where no one could see, and God’s miracles shouldn’t be done in a corner today either. The Lord told me I was to show Him at work, and that’s what I’ve been doing for over thirty years. Through television and the Internet, people can actually see God heal, deliver and set people free; and those who want to believe can become believers no matter how much they have doubted in the past. Dishonest-hearted doubters who don’t want to believe can choose to seal their own doom, and the Lord will just leave them alone; the Holy Spirit will never strive with them again.
Come into Divinity
You have to yield to God and let divinity work even when you don’t understand. When I don’t understand things, I just say, “Lord, not my will, but yours be done.” I know that later I will understand why today was like it was. The Lord will explain things to you if you walk with Him, but you can’t walk with Him in the night; He only walks with those who walk in His light. You’ll find the answers in God’s Holy Book or He will give you the answers you need.
You can have all you need, and you can know how divinity works if you’ll come into the truth; and the first step is salvation. The Holy Spirit is the One who draws you to Calvary. He shines the light of God on you and makes a clear path for you, so let’s go to Calvary today. Say this prayer with me: Oh, God, I want the truth, and I want divinity. I haven’t been living in divinity but in the flesh, and I know now that I will go to hell unless I receive divinity. I believe that Jesus died for me and shed His divine blood that contains all the eternal life I’ll ever need. I confess that He is the Son of God, and I believe that His blood will wash away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in!
If you meant that prayer, you can say, Hallelujah! He has come. Thank God Almighty, I’m free! I have divinity in my soul, and I know it has erased every sin I have ever committed.
You must now go on to receive the good Holy Ghost. You can even seek Him at home, and He comes in through praises. Study in the Acts of the Apostles how they received the Holy Ghost on the Day of Pentecost and know that the same Holy Ghost is available today. Everyone must have Him.
Receive a Miracle
If you will continue to serve God, you can have a miracle even if death is working in your body. The Lord has healed AIDS, cancer, leprosy, diabetes and all kinds of diseases through this ministry; so get ready for your miracle. All miracles come through the truth and the divine blood. I’m not your healer; Jesus is the healer. Lord, I bring the sick and afflicted to you. Lay a healing hand on them. There is no disease that you can’t heal and no deformity that you can’t take care of. Heal! in the blood-name of Jesus. Heal! in the all-powerful blood-name.
Feel that power going through you now and know that it’s the same power you read about in this message. That power of divinity must work within you for the greatness of Heaven to be in you and to work for you. If you’ll only believe, all things are truly possible. Your diseases will flee from your body as well as those of your loved ones, and you can watch yourself and your little ones get well. Write and tell me about your miracles, and I will rejoice with you. Give Him all the praise, honor and glory; and always remember that He is the healer. God bless.
