Holy Spirit, Keep My Mind Cup Running Over!
Volume 50 The Mysteries of God

February 1998
My cup runneth over (Psalm 23:5). Holy Spirit, fill my cup, keep my mind cup running over! My mind cup is ready.
One of Paul’s wonderful phrases is, For I am ready (Acts 21:13). He was ready with his mind cup, and the Holy Spirit kept it so filled that fourteen books of the New Testament were poured out through Paul. Not only in the good times, his mind cup ran over when he was in prison, when he was hungry, when his life was in danger. I have learned in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content, Paul wrote (Philippians 4:11). Why was he content? His mind cup “runneth over.” Friends and family turned against him, enemies tried again and again to kill him. He was imprisoned, beaten, stoned and left for dead, but through it all he was victorious because his cup ran over daily.
Be conscious of what is in your mind cup. After you are born gain, keep your cup empty of confusion and self. Let the Holy Spirit wash it out with the water of life, the living Word of God, cleanse it from the contamination the devil is trying to destroy you with, free you of the battles of the mind. The Holy Spirit must first purge your mind before He can pour into it all His goodness directly from your soul. The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us (Romans 5:5). The love of God is in your soul, and the Holy Ghost flows it to the mind, sheds it abroad.
The soul is the reservoir for the mind. The soul came from God and is unlimited in the things of God it can hold. The mind, however, has a limited capacity; the greatness of God flowing from the soul can fill the mind and run it over. In this final hour, the strength of the Bride will be her cup running over daily. Not once in a while will it run over, but daily. That’s one reason the Lord will enjoy her so much.
The mind of David ran over with the greatness of God that flowed from his soul. Read the Psalms of joy, praise and gladness written by David when he was only a lad. With his cup running over he was able to kill a bear, a lion. With his cup running over he had the courage and confidence to bring down the giant Goliath.
When Christ walked the earth, His mind cup ran over. The Bible tells us to let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5). The Bride will walk in perfection with her Groom, Jesus Christ. Her mind will be like His; she will serve the same Gospel He served, carry the same blessings. Daily her mind will be filled with the things of God just like His was. Jesus gave the people what the Father gave Him. Through the Holy Ghost, the Bride will have what the Groom gives her. The Holy Spirit is the servant, serving the Bride, and the Bride then will serve her Lord by serving others, by taking this Gospel to a lost and dying world.
Let the mind of Christ be in you. You can have everything that made up His mind as long as your cup is ready to use all the great things that the mind of Christ used. Possess your vessel, your mind, in sanctification; keep it pure and clean. The Bible stresses the purity of God for His people, teaches them to be free from all sin, cleansed, blood-washed and living holy. When you are yielded to God to that extent you will be—like Peter was—partakers of the divine nature (II Peter 1:4).
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service (Romans 12:1). Present your bodies and your minds to God. If your mind is not holy, you will not be a holy sacrifice before the Lord. You can’t present yourself holy if you don’t have a holy mind. The mind has everything to do with pleasing God. Until you have victory in your mind and keep it there, you are spiritually crippled.
Peter wrote to stir up pure minds, warning against contamination, against things that would hinder from receiving the blessings of God. This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour (II Peter 3:1,2). Impure minds stirred up exhibit impurity; but when a pure mind is stirred up, grace comes gushing from it. Peter wanted people to be blessings with what the Lord had given them. He wanted their minds to be so stirred that the Gospel would be spread, reach more people, be a brighter light for the Kingdom. That same stirring is what the Lord desires in this last hour. Daily the Holy Spirit will be stirring the pure minds of those who will serve and reach for more. As you serve what is in your soul, the Lord will fill your mind again and again. Keep self out of the way so it will not contaminate the cup, preventing God from using you the way He plans.
Every time you open the Word of God, let it stir up your pure mind, bring to life in your mind the greatness of God that is in your soul. As you yield to God, the Word will bloom and produce through you, bring forth a harvest. This is a fruitful time; God’s harvest comes forth daily in the pure minds and hearts of His children. In this pure soil, every seed of the Word generates immediately to bring forth fruit.
If your mind is stirred and something comes out that is impure, get rid of that impurity at once. Cleanse your mind from anything that would contaminate the cup. Your mind can become stagnate with the things of the world, thoughts of the world. Stay free from it all in this your last and final hour.
Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled (Titus 1:15). When you have a pure mind, you deal with pure things and reject the impure. Everything you select is pure. The thoughts you reach for and embrace are pure. You choose things that have God’s strength, not things that bring spiritual weakness and would draw you away from the place God wants you to be in. When the impure turn away from you, count it a blessing. The pure minds will not reach for anything that would bring the frown of God or grieve the Holy Spirit.
People filled with sin want nothing pure; their minds and consciences are defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate (Titus 1:16). The impure don’t care what they say; their conversation is ungodly, unclean. Every imagination of their hearts is evil continually, just as it was in those people destroyed by the flood in the days of Noah.
I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience (II Timothy 1:3). A pure conscience is one with no contamination, one that needs no improvement. A pure conscience is a holy conscience, made that way through the blood of Jesus. But it takes only a speck of contamination to make the conscience impure. If you don’t have a pure, holy conscience, you are not in the place to decide what is right and what is wrong.
Many people do not believe it possible to live free from sin; they do not have holy consciences, cannot separate the godly from the ungodly. It’s with a pure conscience that you know you are free from sin and must stay free. Your prayer is Holy Spirit, keep my mind flushed at all times so it will always be pure.
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times (Psalm 12:6). Every Word of the Lord is pure. Every Word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him (Proverbs 30:5). To accept the pure Word of God, one needs a pure conscience, a pure mind. Few believe the pure Word of God; they feel they need other things mixed in, and consequently they gain very little strength, wisdom, knowledge and understanding from it. Because their consciences are not pure, they do not enjoy the breath of God, the life of the Word. Polluted minds do not have the right soil to bring forth a full harvest, to generate the greatness of God.
The greatness in the Word of God is meant to come to life in the soul, in the conscience, in the heart, and spread forth in a mighty way. The Word is powerful; it shoots forth after it takes root, but not all seed finds fertile soil. Jesus told the parable of the sower: Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty (Matthew 13:18-23). The seed that found good soil brought forth an abundant supply. In this last hour, the seed of the Word of God, sown by the Holy Spirit, will germinate and bring forth a mighty harvest. It will be marvelous what will be produced through the rich, rich soil of the pure in heart and mind.
Your spirit, your thoughts, intentions, affections are fertile soil when they are in total agreement with the Holy Spirit. He will feed the Bride the eternal, pure Word of the living God, make His Spirit alive to the Bride. Not lost in a fog, the Bride will walk in the clearness of the Word, in the brightness, the light of the living God. Page after page of the Word will leap up to the Bride in such reality it will seem she can hear the Lord speaking it directly to her. The Holy Ghost will bring that closeness of the Lord to the Bride.
Some of you are having mind battles over the Word of God. You open the Bible and wonder why you can’t get anything from it. But the hour is here when the Word will come alive to you if you keep your mind cup flushed out through the Holy Spirit. You will receive much from the Word of God. It will be a source of power to you, letting you know that Jesus is with you as He was with His followers when He dwelt among men. Jesus, the living Word, lives in your heart if you are born again. What mighty strength that is, what greatness to have Jesus Himself living and dwelling on the inside!
Shedding abroad all the greatness of the Word, the Holy Spirit is preparing everyone He can for the soon coming of Jesus. Continually He fills the mind cups that are pure. You don’t have to fill your cup—you just have it ready for the Holy Spirit to fill. However, when you occupy your mind cup with troubles, depression, anger, there is no room for the Holy Spirit.
Some people ask for gossip, for problems. Do you want a bad story or the greatest story ever told? What is your mind looking for? What do you meditate on? Blessed is the man whose delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper (Psalm 1:2,3). Like a tree planted by the waters of life are the pure in heart. They will not wither but will have the freshness of life about them. Plenty of water keeps the leaves green, lovely and healthy.
When all else looks barren, you may see a tree, green and leafy on the banks of a river. You can tell that the tree is taking full advantage of the water. Are you taking advantage of the living water flowing in your soul? If not, I pray that you let the Word of the living God stir up your pure minds, make you a great soul-winner in this last and final hour. Gushing forth like mighty rivers of living water into your mind, the Holy Ghost will thrill your innermost being. So filled with the greatness of God, your mind won’t have room for things that would take you away from Him. The world will seem worthless and unreal. Pastimes you once thought essential now no longer interest you, and you reach for the things of the Lord. Feel His arms of love and greatness around you as your cup runs over.
The twenty-third Psalm takes you right into the arms of Jehovah God, the great I-Am. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Paul with his mind cup being filled and refilled said, My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
The devil can’t touch the soul of a born-again Christian as long as that one commits no sin, but he can get into the mind. Trying to draw your attention away from the promises of God, to feed your mind his crooked ideas, he waits his chance. If he can focus your attention on worthless things, you become worthless to God during that period of time. Because you use what is in your mind, it is essential to keep the good things of God there. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8).
Paul, knowing death on Nero’s chop block was near, wrote Timothy, For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith (II Timothy 4:6,7). A mind that awaited death so serenely had to be full and running over with the reality of God. No distress, no hysteria: Paul was ready to die. Nero must have been disappointed in Paul. He probably expected a trembling, pathetic wreck to beg for mercy; but instead everyone at that execution saw the glorious death of a true saint of God. Paul’s mind was pure; he had kept the faith. Leaning on no one but Jesus—and glad to be leaving this world behind—Paul surely was surrounded by angels. One more step, and I’ll be there, Jesus. One more step, and I’ll be in glory. Paul’s cup was full of Heaven.
When your cup is filled with the joys of Heaven, death is glorious. The Lord took all the bitterness out of the cup of death, handed salvation to us saying, Here’s the doorway into eternal life!
Jesus all my sins did atone.
In the darkness I see
He’ll be waiting for me.
I won’t have to cross Jordan alone.
Paul was ready when his time came, and you can be ready, too.
Fill my cup, Lord, with love. Fill my mind cup with faith, Lord, faith like the faith I read of in the 11th chapter of Hebrews. When the Holy Spirit dips into that chapter and pours it into your mind cup, you have the faith that Enoch had, Abraham, Moses, Joshua.
Faith is gift from God; He put it into your soul when you received salvation, now use it in your mind. Let the Holy Spirit dip God’s faith out of your soul, pour it into your mind, and will be ready to do battle with the devil, ready to trample devils underfoot. Fill my cup, Lord with that kind of faith.
Love is called charity: And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity (I Corinthians 13:13). Fill my cup with the love found in the 13th chapter of I Corinthians, eternal love that will never die, never leave me helpless nor bring sickness. That kind of love always will have the abilities of Heaven in it, never any hatred.
God’s love has changed more lives, set more feet on the paths of righteousness than anything else. God’s love does great and mighty things, brings broken lives and homes together, heals devastated hearts.
Lord, fill my mind cup with courage and determination, God’s courage and determination. The Bible’s courage and determination are what I want.
Fill my cup, Lord, with peace, Heaven’s peace, the kind that Jesus said He would leave with us. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27). Run my cup over, Lord, with your peace. Let it spill out so that people around me will be blessed, too. If you want to be a blessing to others, let the Holy Spirit run your cup over.
Fill my cup, Holy Spirit, with the goodness of Heaven.
Fill my mind cup with patience so that I can show love, faith, goodness and mercy to others.
Fill my mind cup with wisdom and knowledge so I can help others and teach them how to walk with the Lord.
Fill my mind cup with edifying thoughts so I will keep growing in the Lord and never be weak and sickly spiritually. Fill my mind cup with strength so I will always be able to do all things through Christ. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13). Climb every mountain; do everything the Lord wants, treasure every thought of Him and live up to all the ambitions the Lord has for you. The Lord has ambitions and goals for His people. To live up to them is marvelous indeed.
Fill my cup with forgiveness and mercy so I won’t ever carry a grudge again, never be contaminated with anger and resentment against anyone. No matter who my enemies are, I will pray for them, want their souls saved.
Fill my cup with the same compassion, Jesus, you had when you healed the people. Fill my cup with compassion, and I can call on you to heal and get results, to heal others.
Fill my cup with belief in your promises. These signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18). The believers’ cup is to have the compassion of Jesus.
Fill my mind cup with all the sweetness of Jesus, with His wonderful understanding. Give me an understanding heart so I can recognize where people are coming from, and know how to help them. The spirit of understanding is the great need of God’s people in this hour, understanding why people do what they do, say what they say. Why are they so easily discouraged, why can the devil turn them back? Why do some give up while others keep going on? Why do some carry the spirit of prayer and others don’t seem to have the burden for the lost? Why do some carry the anointing to fast and others don’t have it? When you understand people, you know more how to help them.
Fill my mind cup with power from On High. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4). In the Upper Room, every mind cup was filled with the Holy Ghost. He had come to dwell in the hearts and minds of men, living on the inside. The third person in the Trinity of the Godhead had set up housekeeping, office work all at the same time. He is just as ready today to do business, ready to serve your mind, teach you, guide you.
Be a good student of your mind; give your mind over to the love of Heaven, to the things of God and you will shut out much unpleasantness around you. The thickest wall of protection in the world is the one of God’s truth. Know the truth, God’s truth, and be free; the wall of truth is so thick that neither people nor the devil can break through it. It’s held together with the mortar of love, grace and the blood of Jesus.
Your cup should be full of hallelujahs, praises and glories as you praise the Lord like the Psalmist of old. David, facing Goliath, cried, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand…that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel (I Samuel 17:45,46). David’s cup was running over. He looked on the giant Goliath and cried, Who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God (I Samuel 17:26)?
In fear, the Israelites had fled from Goliath. They didn’t have David’s wonderful trust in God. In fact, they thought David was completely out of line to think he could win against the dreaded giant they were afraid to face. They didn’t see the powerful heavenly faith in David’s mind.
People have doubts about Christians who are on fire for God. Failing to understand why Christians act as they do, the doubters are baffled to see Christians handle trouble, trials and sorrows and keep loving Jesus. In the same situations they let bitterness come into their hearts as they blame God for things He didn’t do. They turn away from God. But sorrows find the Christian turning more to God, gaining strength from Him, reaching out to Him with both hands. Holding on to His nail-riven hands, they know He is the source of their help. Jesus gives them strength. They know that as long as they hold to Him, they will be all right.
Jesus is our life. As for God, his way is perfect (II Samuel 22:31). When something is perfect it cannot be improved upon.
Lord, fill my mind cup with your saving grace daily. I know that your grace is sufficient for every trial, all temptations, weaknesses, sorrows, heartaches, persecutions; your grace is sufficient for everything. Oh, fill my mind cup with the grace of the Lord. Fill my mind cup with all things needed for the day. When you arise in the morning, do you think with depression of the day you are facing, of what someone said about you? The Holy Spirit tried to work with you during the night. Now let Him regulate your mind. If an “old growl” sits across the breakfast table from you hiding behind the paper, just think of that paper as God’s great wall of love between you. Praise God for the newspaper this morning; you’ve turned it into a wall of goodness, love and greatness. Fill my day, Lord; fill my mind cup with your righteousness. I don’t want the unrighteousness of people around me, that which is unholy. Fill my mind cup with Bible holiness. Man’s holiness is a “holier than thou” kind, the kind hypocrites put their trust in.
Fill my mind with the humility of Jesus because I know that’s the only way I can be like Him. Fill my mind with His humility, the humility He had when He was here on Earth.
Fill my mind cup with the spirit of praise. It’s wonderful to have a spirit of praise, a spirit the Lord gives His obedient ones. When you are faithful in your obedience to the Lord in everything, you have a spirit of praise. There is much to praise Him for. Let your mind be alive with the praises of your God.
Do you pray with your mind? It’s a wonderful way to pray, to always be praising God, talking to Him. You can be with people and they don’t even know you’re praying. They may think you are very quiet, but your mind is anything but quiet as it praises God. Your mind is in the presence of God, before the throne talking to the Lord. Your lips can say a lot of things; but when your mind is connected with your heart, it praises the Lord, and the Holy Spirit is with you enjoying the praises.
Fill my mind cup with the spirit of prayer, Lord. Some people pray, but it’s only a formality; they don’t have the spirit of prayer. Their words are like a rubber ball thrown against a wall, a ball that keeps bouncing back. They go nowhere. When you pray with the spirit of prayer, the Holy Spirit is helping you—not in another language: you are praying. You are anointed to pray, and the prayer gushes forth.
I loved to hear my mother pray. Often she would be praying with all her heart when she wouldn’t know anyone else was around. She prayed silently and she prayed out loud. Many times she would go into a room apart and call up Heaven. We children would hear our names in prayer when Mom didn’t know we were around. Mom was anointed to pray. When the words rolled out we knew she was in contact with Heaven, in the presence of God and all else was forgotten.
My mother had a spirit of fasting and a spirit to listen to the Word of God. I learned much from my family about serving God: how to walk with Him, how to live pure and clean before Him, free from all sin, how to enjoy living for Jesus. Some people get just enough religion to make them miserable, one foot in the world and the other trying to walk after the Lord. They are pulled in both directions and live in conflict. That conflict would be resolved if they would step all the way into Canaan and walk in the footprints of Jesus. Shout Hallelujah! and mean it. Praise God from your heart.
Fill my mind cup, Lord, with the vision of this endtime hour. See the endtime signs everywhere; have the vision of the endtime of souls to be brought in. We must hurry before the harvest goes to ruin.
Do you have that vision? Do you know Jesus is coming again? Are you really expecting Him? He is coming for those who are watching for Him. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh (Matthew 25:13).
Fill my mind cup, oh Holy Spirit, with the tears of Calvary. I want to shed the kind of tears that Jesus shed. Fill my mind cup with the Jesus overcoming power. I want to be an overcomer just like Jesus was. I want to be strong like Him. I want to do His works. Jesus said, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (John 14:12). Who will help us do these greater works? Jesus told us, I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever (John 14:16). The Comforter, the Holy Ghost, brought power from On High for God’s children to use.
Lord, fill my mind cup and keep it running over daily so those I come in contact with will be greatly blessed, encouraged. I want to be an inspiration to others for you, Lord. Some people have words that oppress and hurt, words that linger like festering sores. They need a spiritual bath to get rid of the stench. They need help; they haven’t been cleansed and made pure in the Lord. Be on guard; don’t let the devil steal peace from you through the stench of others. If someone phones you with a load of gossip, you can always hang up—oh, you can do it politely, but just do it. Good-bye and God bless you. I’ll be praying for you. If the person gets the idea that you don’t want to hear his gossip, he will probably find someone else to dump it on. Gossipers want listeners—ask them to tell you something about Jesus.
When your mind is running over with the greatness of the Lord, you have no room for anything unkind, mean or cruel. Forgiveness is in your mind, love; and the Holy Spirit will shed them abroad. The truth of God is poison to the enemy.
Lord, fill my mind cup so I will carry only the burdens you want me to carry. Some have carried unnecessary burdens for years. If you are not worrying about one thing, you are worrying about something else. You worry about having nothing to worry about. How much do you worry? The Bible tells you to not worry, to not fret, but to seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33).
Be careful—or anxious—about nothing. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (Philippians 4:6).
Why should you go against the Word of God? Many carry burdens the Lord doesn’t expect them to have, and life becomes very hard. Jesus said, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30).
Jesus made those burdens light for you when He gave you the Holy Ghost with His power and strength. You can carry the Lord’s light burdens. Burdens that have pressed down on you so heavily you thought you could not bear them were not burdens from the Lord. Your heaviest burdens have been those of self and people close to you who gave you their burdens. Some people make slaves out of others with their burdens.
David didn’t carry unnecessary burdens placed on him by his family. He had been with the sheep, and sheep don’t impose burdens on others. Put unnecessary burdens on the altar, under the blood of Jesus and leave them there. Stop worrying about them; it doesn’t help. Loved ones who are not serving God will have to come the way of the Cross, accept the blood—just like you have—if they go to Heaven. You can’t make saints out of them no matter how hard you try, and you can’t pray them into Heaven unless they want to go. If they have a mean streak they insist on keeping, you can’t pray it out of them. If they don’t want to be holy, they are not going to be holy. After you have done all you can, why should you worry yourself to death? Worrying will not do either one of you any good.
Check your mind cup every morning to see if you have unnecessary burdens. If you find any, give them to Jesus so you will be free to carry His. In this last hour, the Lord is calling on the Bride to unload the unnecessary and load up with the burden for the lost. This burden is the greatest burden, saith the Lord, for the Bride of Christ in this her final walk. Love the lost the way Jesus did when He died for them on Calvary. That love will draw multitudes to the light of Calvary, to the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Bride will light the paths of many by carrying the burden for the lost. She will be a wonderful Bride for the rest of the journey. No wonder the Lord is so proud of her, the spotless Bride!
Fill my cup, Lord, with the sunshine of Heaven. Have you ever asked the Lord to fill your cup with that kind of sunshine? Fill my mind cup, Lord, with thoughts that are pure, all pure, thoughts that are true, honest, just, lovely and of a good report the way the Bible tells us. When your mind is filled with those thoughts, there will be no room for the wrong kind. Use a good thought to shoot down a bad.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Fill my cup, Lord, with the peace of God. That peace will keep your soul and mind through Jesus Christ. When you are kept in Jesus Christ, you are kept in the holiness, the righteousness of Heaven, in the purity of God, in the living Word, in all the strength and power of Heaven. You are kept in His eternal life, goodness, peace and happiness, His eternal everything that gives strength. You have His greatness in your soul.
All who are born-again have the greatness of Calvary’s grace and power in their souls, and that grace and power must flow into the mind in unity, fellowship, and understanding. Let the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be in your soul and His sufficiency in your mind.
The truth that you hide in your heart flows into the mind when the Holy Spirit has freedom to dip out those truths. The Psalmist said, Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee (Psalm 119:11). Hide the truth of God in your soul the way you should, and you won’t sin against God. You have the choice to sin or to not sin, for God made you a creature of free choice; but when you love Him with all your heart, you choose to not commit sin.
Fill my cup with pure truth and nothing but the truth. Be ready for the truth. Many of God’s people are not really ready for God’s truth all the time. Others want the truth no matter how much it hurts. Some people ask me for the truth, and when they hear it, they don’t like it. Their reaction is as explosive as throwing gasoline on a fire. If you have God’s truth in your soul, you should be able to stand up with His truth in your mind. If you can’t stand up to God’s truth, it doesn’t have right-of-way in your life. You have given self right-of-way instead.
The truth of God is your keeper; it will not mix with the false. The truth is your power, your victory. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). When we have all the greatness of God in our lives, we rejoice in knowing that the Lord is with us.
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness (Colossians 1:10,11). Walk worthy of the Lord to all pleasing; please Him at all times in mind as well as soul. Ever increasing knowledge of the truth, ever increasing faith and love is the walk of the Bride.
How much of Heaven’s joy do you have? It all depends on how much you are letting the Holy Spirit flow. Empty your mind of self and let the Holy Spirit pour the truth and goodness of God into your mind. Rejoice, forgetting the bad times and praising Him for the good. Take His blessing with you wherever you go: My cup runneth over! My cup runneth over! Your cup runneth over at night, when you get up in the morning, at noontime. Fill my cup, Lord; oh fill my cup! I am ready, Lord!
That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:2,3). The riches of a full understanding are there to fill your cup. As you are served from the blessings of God, serve to others. There are always people ready for a blessing, for a blessed cup to run over, looking for healing of their hurts, for more light on their paths. Always people need more of the mercy, knowledge and wisdom of God. Blessed is the cup that runneth over daily, saith the Lord. He is there where you are.
This message came from Him and through Him. It’s His message to you, not mine. He gave it.
If you don’t know the Lord, why not pray the sinners’ prayer now? Oh, God, I have sinned against you. I’m so sorry! But I have come home. I’m going to serve you, Lord, the rest of my life. I believe there’s power in the blood of Jesus to wash away all my sins. I confess every sin that I have ever committed, and I believe the blood of Jesus washes them all away. Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in!
If you meant that prayer, He has come; He is yours. Serve Him. Start praying, studying the Word of God. Bible fasting will help more and more to bring His miracle greatness into your life.
You who are sick or afflicted: I am not a healer. I am a believer, God’s believer. The Lord is the healer. He is the Lord who healeth all thy diseases (Psalm 103:3). Lord, I bring the sick and afflicted to you, and I know there will be miracles, healings, I know the people can be healed today of all manner of sicknesses and diseases, made whole, made well by the mighty hand of the living Christ. From your supernatural gift of miracles, your supernatural gifts of healing it comes in the name of Jesus through the power of the Holy Ghost; Heal! Heal! In the name of the Lord, in the mighty, all-powerful name of Jesus!
The healing power is flowing, going into sick bodies. That power will get you well if you obey the truth of God’s Word and believe. Watch yourself or your loved one get well and give God all the praise, honor and glory. He is the one.
Walk in His love and truth. He has given you His light. Hear His Word and know you are in the final hour. You who are humble, you who live holy at all times, will be shining lights. You will live in His truth, and sow His love and grace. The righteousness of God you will reveal to all who are around you. The Lord is seeking to draw each one of you into His arms of love and greatness so that He can leap with you from mountain to mountain, saving you many heartaches and heartbreaks. But unless you yield to Him one hundred percent, He will not be able to spare you some of the awful valleys in which you will suffer much.
God hears every word you speak, sees every action. He knows every thought of your heart. It’s time to yield to the Holy Spirit, time to examine your mind cup daily and know that is there. Be careful what you allow in that cup, and make sure no contamination is in it. Do not fail Him in this final hour, or souls will perish.
