One of the most important scriptures for anyone seeking God’s will is James 1:5: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. God’s wisdom directs you into the knowledge of God’s will. Without wisdom, knowledge is misused; and that knowledge becomes a destructive force to you and to others. God has given much knowledge on planet Earth that is being used in the wrong way because man has not sought the wisdom of God to go with that knowledge and because man is not concerned about God’s will.

Knowledge from God, much of it, is being used today for totally selfish purposes, for material gain at the expense of many victims. Seek the Lord for His wisdom. God has all wisdom, all knowledge; and freely He gives it. He said He would. He said He would not rebuke you for asking for wisdom. In other words, He won’t tell you how foolish and silly you have been. He gives His wisdom freely when you ask in faith, nothing wavering.

Have you never satisfied your heart in finding God’s will? God, what is your will for my life? Some of you are seeking God’s complete will from today to eternity. The Lord as a rule does not work that way. His will for humanity was given one step at a time when He gave it through Jesus Christ His Son. As a toddler learning to walk, you first took baby steps, then the steps of a child until finally you were mature enough to take adult steps…it is much the same in walking in God’s will. Many of God’s people have not taken God’s will one step at a time.

When you took God’s plan of salvation, you stepped into His will. Now where do you go from there? God, what is your will for me? The will of the Lord is for you to be baptized in the Holy Ghost; it’s a teaching of the Word of God.

His Will for You? Hiding His Word in Your Heart

Will you walk in the divine will of God? Walking with God means trusting in His Word—the whole Word—for the Word is all that God has with which to direct you, to give you strength, love and faith: His Word. If you walk in the will of God, you treasure His Word; it becomes more valuable to you than anything you own, more valuable than your home, your money, your prized possessions.

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee (Psalm 119:11). When you hide the Word of God in your heart, you don’t worry about sinning because you will not sin—the Word is there. The Word is your life, your strength, your shield, your faith, your love. Without the Word you cannot survive on your God-walk.

When God calls you to a specific task, you will be a success at it—if you remain in His will. If not, you have misunderstood; and a change is in order. There is all the difference in the world between saying you are in the will of God and actually being there. If you are in the will of God, you are successful in life because you walk with God. Victorious in the battles, you use God’s wisdom in dealing with others, giving them that Jesus touch. Are you so busy giving your own touch, your own opinions, that you cannot pour forth the Word to that person? If you don’t depend upon the wisdom of God, you don’t realize the value of a soul. Too quick to give advice in your own wisdom, you leave God’s wisdom untouched.

When you walk in the will of God, you do not press to give everyone your own advice; you feel the grave responsibility to speak the Word of the Lord. You know your advice must come from God because you are responsible for every word that comes out of your mouth. He has told you that you must give account for every idle word, every word misplaced, every word you speak that hurts someone needlessly, words that you use against another. He has told you in His Word how your speech must be seasoned with His grace, with His love.

Just as God’s Word influences for good, so must ours. We do not realize that when He gives us His wisdom and knowledge, we take the place of the Lord on Earth. We feel we have our own place—yes and no. For ye are bought with a price (I Corinthians 6:20). That price was the blood of the Son of God.

His Will? Light in the Valleys

The Psalmist knew the importance of the Word. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path (Psalm 119:105). How will you find your way? Light shows you the way. Light dispels darkness. Do you have misgivings; can’t you find your path, your way? Then you are not walking according to the will and the Word of God.

When you walk according to the Word of God, you have light on the darkest night, direction during the storms of life. When others are dumbfounded, confused, running in all directions but the right one, you have light in the will of God. Your path is clear. You have not lost your way because you’re being tried.

Too many Christians have become lost in the valleys. There is no more reason to be lost in the valleys than to be lost on the mountain peaks of victory. Yet many have wandered down paths of despair, neglect, and carelessness…and failed their God. They failed God and blamed Him for their failure—but He was the One who gave light, light that they wouldn’t turn on.

Just as you are able to turn on the light in your home at night, you have power to turn on the light of God in your valleys. God has spoken His Word, and no one can change or destroy it. The Word is your light to show you the way. Only you can destroy that light from your life. No one can cause you to leave that light of His will behind and walk into the darkness unless you allow it.

His Will for You? To Tap into His Infallible Word

For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death (Psalm 48:14). Some of you depend entirely upon the human mind to direct you, upon others to help you. Great fear takes you over when you don’t get your answers. Great fear should take you over only when you can’t contact the Master Mind. The answers in His will for you are perfect. There should be no fear in you as long as you can contact God—and He has made that contact possible every minute of the day through His precious Son Jesus. God is our guide, the source of all wisdom and knowledge, the source of all greatness, of every good thing. You have that source in His will; it’s yours—but you cannot tap into it without the Word. You can’t push the Word aside or make a “social” gospel out of it; you can’t believe only part of it. You must look on the Word as it is, the infallible Word of the living God, spoken to live as long as God lives. It can never be changed.

When you have something so powerful, so great, why not have confidence in it? Why should there be any doubt when this Book tells you that God will be with you through this life and all eternity? Why worry about tomorrow, next week, next year? All your years are covered.

We put confidence in money that can be destroyed in a moment, feel very secure and important if we’re fortunate enough to have bankrolls; but only the Word of God is eternal and everlasting. It’s greater than all the bankrolls in the world. We can have much greater security in the Word when we trust it completely in this life. What more could you ask?

If you’re not using the Word, the Word is not living in your heart; and God’s will is vague to you. It’s still in book form. If you’re struggling in prayer, not getting prayers answered or receiving from God, the Word is not alive in your heart. If prayer is frustrating—like having some terrible disease—you are forcing yourself in prayer and missing the greatness of God’s presence.

His Will? Great and Precious Promises Fulfilled

The Word’s promises are more beautiful than the flowers in a garden. Why enjoy the flowers only and not the promises of God? Enjoying the promises is God’s will for you. The promises of God are all around you—if you allow them to be, if you don’t let weeds take over. Why are the promises of God not bright and shining to some? They have been choked out by weeds.

No matter how beautiful flowers are, the beauty loses its effect among weeds. You have in your garden whatever you have planted. If you have planted the Word of God, knowledge, wisdom, the strength and hope of God, happiness and the peace of God, then you have a beautiful garden. Seeds from the human mind, the human spirit planted with human knowledge and wisdom, bring to harvest the wrong kind of garden, one on which God frowns. Why blame Him for your weeds? The Word of God is the weedkiller, and you won’t use it. Why blame Him for your despair? He has given you that which destroys despair. He has enriched you beyond words. People know how rich materially they are but may never stop to count their riches in God.

How do you feel when you walk into God’s presence? Do you beg God? Do you think you’re too unworthy for God to hear you? The Bible declares you are worthy when you have Jesus in your heart and soul; you’re a fit citizen for Heaven. When you’re washed in the blood, you’re pure.

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature (II Peter 1:4). This Book declares that even God can find no condemnation in you who have Jesus in your hearts. You’re partakers of the divine nature and free to claim those great and precious promises. Yet some of you place no confidence in the Word of God; you do not know what those promises are. You’re always searching and never finding because you don’t look in the right places. This certainly is not God’s will for you. To go grocery shopping, you must first know where the store is. The Bible is a storehouse that some have never found and others of you wander aimlessly through. Once-in-a-while you come across one of God’s promises, but the excitement of it doesn’t last long. You wander out of the Word and forget the way back.

The Lord has said the promises in the Word are free. Apply them to your life, armfuls on purpose. Reach out. “I’m your sufficiency,” God is saying, “I will supply all your needs, all.” It’s His will.

Imagine that you had a loving, rich uncle who gave you a blank check, saying to write in any amount, that he had trained you well and knew you wouldn’t be foolish with the money. “I have given you wisdom and knowledge,” he would say. “You’ve sat at my feet. I’ve taught you. Now here’s my bank account; it’s open to you. It’s my will for you to use it anytime you want.” It would be wonderful, wouldn’t it? But we have in reality something much more wonderful. We have our big brother, Jesus, who came and made it possible for us to have a “bank account” in Heaven, and to draw on it here on Earth. He has “signed all the checks” in His blood, and the devil can’t erase the signature or counterfeit it. Some of you will start to fill in the amount, and the devil whispers, “That won’t work.” You drop your pen. Why? Because you didn’t have the promise of the Word in your heart; you just had it in your hand, in book form. Had it been in your heart you would have written the check.

Remember those times you dared fast and pray? Your faith rose until you could fill in the check. You just knew it was going to be honored. “I have the victory!” you cried.

“Where is it?” people asked.

“It will be here. I have it! I have it!”

How did you get it? You claimed it through the Word, sealed and closed your case with the Word of God.

The Word will live in your heart if you let it; it will be your guide even unto death. Why should you worry about the paths God is going to take you on? Doesn’t He know the best way? There are only so many paths your feet can trod in this short span of life. Doesn’t He have the wisdom to direct you on the right one? Only trust Him, obey Him; and you’ll be happy in Him. Stop fretting; pull out the weeds in your garden; clean them all out with the Word of God. “Wash down the attic, kill the spiders,” and then there won’t be any cobwebs in the mind. Spiritually speaking, you had to be filled with cobwebs before you cleaned house—and then you only swept up a little. You didn’t get to the root of the problem, the spiders. The Word of God doesn’t run from the spiders; it kills them.

His Will? “I Will Guide Thee with Mine Eye”

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye (Psalm 32:8). Who offers this? Man? No, it is the God who made us. I will instruct thee, He said. I will teach thee in the way. Why worry about your way when God will direct your path and give you strength to walk it? You say you would walk in His will if He would just show it to you. He has shown you again and again, but you didn’t like the path. It didn’t suit your feet, and so you never acknowledged it to be the path of God.

“Why doesn’t God speak to me?” you wonder. He spoke to you yesterday, and you wouldn’t listen. He spoke to you last week…you ignored Him. Personally He called on you the week before, and you weren’t home. Why should He talk to you today? Unclog your ears with the Word of the living God.

God will not stand before you on every path, crying out, “I am the Lord thy God! Walk this way! I’ll knock the life out of you if you don’t go this way!” That’s the only language some of us would understand. God doesn’t want you to follow Him because you have to but because you love Him and it’s the desire of your heart. God doesn’t want a “yes-sir-don’t-hit-me,” response from you, but a “yes, Lord, your Word is true; your Word lights my path. I love you, and I have come to do Thy will, oh God. I obey you because I love, I trust you and honor you. I delight in all your ways. I love your Word, Lord. I love your instructions, your teachings. I cannot get enough of you.”

I will guide thee with mine eye, He said. Is it easier to trust man’s guidance? You board a plane and just because you hear that some mechanism in the plane will guide you to your destination, you believe it. Not even going up to the cockpit to check, you have so much faith in earth-knowledge and wisdom you just sit down and strap yourself in. If you put half that confidence in God, you would be a marvelous force in the Kingdom. But when it comes to God’s plan, some of you won’t even get on board. You’re standing out on the runway saying, “Not yet, God, not yet. I’m not ready.” How do you expect to go anywhere with the Lord that way? In order to catch a plane to another city, you have to submit to the pilot, a human hand. If you would submit yourself to a hand of divinity as readily as you do to human hands, you would go millions of spiritual miles with God into heavenly places, into depths in the Spirit of His love and grace. The height of His love, peace, joy and understanding, the width, the distance is without limit when you submit completely to Him.

Why are you without understanding of God? Because you will not accept God’s understanding. If you cannot understand the spiritual paths I am talking about or the spiritual instructions God is giving me for you, then you are not what you should be. You are still carnally minded. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Romans 8:6). What kind of mind do you have? Is it more earthbound than spiritual? If so, then you have not taken on the mind of Christ. We must take on the mind of Christ.

His Will? Prosperity and Success

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8). If you keep His Word in your innermost being, it will not depart from your mouth. Then you will speak the things of God, living in the Word day and night, keeping His Word. I had to learn to live in the Word day and night. The only way to really live with God, to live in His presence day and night is to live in His Word. You live in the Spirit of the Word, in the faith of the Word, the love of the Word, the wisdom and the knowledge of the Word. It isn’t just a matter of cramming the Word into you; the Word has to become a part of you like the food you eat. You “eat the Word”; and as it becomes a part of you it’s your strength, your joy, your wisdom, your knowledge. Just as the body takes on food of this Earth, the God-part, the inner man, responds to what God says. When God speaks, the inner man yielded to God becomes electrified, answering immediately. God intended man to respond immediately to every call. When the Lord came down in the cool of the day to talk to Adam, to Eve, quickly they answered…until the fall.

How many times has God called on you and received no answer? When you live in the Word, your Spirit responds to Him twenty-four hours around the clock. The storms are raging, but you are responding to God, to His Word, His Spirit, His love. You have much of His love to give to everyone with whom you come in contact—joy, not for yourself alone, but for all you meet. Love and joy will be flowing from your innermost being like rivers of living water—the Lord declared it. The Word will do these things for you if you live in it, meditate on it, digest and let it become a part of you day and night.

When the Word becomes a part of you and you become a part of it, you begin to walk like Jesus, to think like Him. Your conversation becomes holy like His. When you meditate day and night on the Word and are diligent to live according to all that is written therein, then you make your way prosperous. You prosper yourself through the Word. Some of you are waiting for God to prosper you, but He’s waiting for you to prosper yourself with His promises—that’s what He told the Israelites. They would prosper themselves with His promises when they did what He told them. Study this carefully. You ask, “Oh, God, prosper me,” but He has already given you prosperity: His promises. Use what He has said. He has given you the teaching, the instructions, the know-how. It’s all in the Word, a workable Book. God promised it would be so.

God said, however, that you dare not touch His promises without using His faith, His love, His understanding and wisdom. The only way you will comprehend His instructions is through the Spirit of the living God. Without the Spirit of the living God you will not be able to grasp these instructions; it’s an impossibility. Many have tried. That’s the reason fanaticism and false doctrine are raging, the reason so many things contrary to the Word of God are taught. How sad that people will not use the Spirit of God to understand the Word of God, or abide in the Word through the Holy Spirit.

Direction, teaching…you cannot journey with God without His teaching, without His instruction. You want to prosper? The Bible is your Book of instructions to prosper: observe to do according to all that is written therein…and then thou shalt have good success. What is the secret to success?—doing all that God has said. If you are not a success with God, then you have not done all He has said. A man one time came to Jesus seeking to follow the Lord. Jesus began to tell him the commandments. Yes, he had followed those from his youth up. Then Jesus, with His wisdom and knowledge, got to the heart of the matter: “Go and sell all that you have and give it to the poor,” He said. Do you believe the Lord really meant for the young man to get rid of all his riches? I do not. God does not rob us of everything. Had the man said, “Lord, it’s all yours. Where do you want me to distribute it? I will give it where you want,” the Lord would have said, “You don’t have to give it all; you just have to be willing to place God ahead of the material things.”

Everything, every part of your life must be in God’s hands. That doesn’t mean God is going to demand your time twenty-four hours around the clock. When you give yourself completely to Him and let Him have first place, the Lord will allow you to do certain things for yourself; and He won’t frown. You must yield yourself completely to Him before He can delight in using you any time He wants. When you yield to all of Him, He gives back many blessings. He wants that love, that devotion from you as you yield to Him completely.

His Will for You? His Word in Your Ear

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left (Isaiah 30:21). You hear a word behind you…the Lord is right there with you telling you the way to go. When you come to the crossroads and you don’t know which way to go, you hear a voice behind you saying, “Turn right,” or, “Turn left.” You walk with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Since people under the Law could have that voice in their day, how much more can we have it today under grace when God is accessible to all through the blood of Jesus and through the power of the Holy Ghost living and dwelling on the inside of us? The Holy Ghost is our Guide, our Teacher.

It thrills me to read the words, And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way…I’ve heard it so many times, the voice of the Lord saying, “This is the way.” I forgot about the puzzle of all those other ways; they faded. Without the Lord to find my way, I would be lost in that jungle of paths. Stand still, the Lord told Moses, and see the salvation of the Lord (Exodus 14:13). Stand still and hear the voice behind you saying, “This is the way.” God gives you the strength to walk His paths, and His wisdom and knowledge to show you how. You have all that you need. Wearing the whole armor of God, you need not fear the danger. Never has the devil been able to penetrate the armor of God. The only thing he can penetrate is you when you fail to use that armor. God gave you an armor the devil cannot destroy; dress yourself in that armor every day because every day it’s war.

Some of you enjoy a few hours of peace, but then letting down your guard, you relax, begin to float. Suddenly you find the devil has put your head under the surface. You come up gasping for breath and crying, “I thought the Lord was with me!” He was. He told you to be careful, to watch and pray. Be alert.

When the paths of life confuse you, just wait. You’ll hear the voice behind you saying, “This is the way; walk down this path.” Isn’t that simple? Isn’t that an easy way to live? Some of you have been making it so hard. The devil turned out the light, or he fooled you and caused you to turn it out yourself. He wanted you to forget the Word so that you would lose your way.

His Will for You? Delighting in Him

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way (Psalm 37:23). Isn’t it wonderful when you know your steps are ordered by the Lord? With great love you take every step, glorifying Him. Never let those feet carry you anywhere that would be displeasing to the Lord. Never take one step to the left or to the right away from the Lord. Every step is ordered by Him when you are in His divine will, His divine trust. You are then His divine responsibility. Did you know that you’re not God’s complete divine responsibility unless you’re walking in the path He shows you? God is not to be blamed for any difficulties on your path if you are not walking the divine path of God. God is not responsible. When you choose your own path, you are responsible. Remember when your children disobeyed you and were hurt? They were responsible. “I told you not to do it,” you said. Some of you are like disobedient children running in all directions; you will not grow up in the Lord. You expect the Lord to run after you—like Mom and Dad used to do—to bring you back so you can run away again. God doesn’t operate that way.

His Will? Acknowledging Him in All Thy Ways

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:5,6). These are marvelous verses. Memorize them. All of your heart must trust in the Lord. These verses nutshell what I’ve been talking about. When you come to the place you can trust in the Lord with all your heart, the Word of God will be paramount in your life twenty-four hours around the clock. You meditate in it. The Word is a part of you, bone of your bone, flesh of your flesh, heart of your heart and Spirit of your spirit. Then and then only will you be walking in the divine path of God where He will be able to direct you.

His Will? Reproof and Instruction

When you refuse instruction, you won’t hear right, see right. Shunning discipline keeps you from walking with God. Much discipline is found in the Word of God. How many of God’s children can really take the discipline of the Word of God? Some of it is very strict indeed. Many have strayed from this discipline. They resent it and reject it, consider it to be insulting. How could they expect God to delight in them with this attitude? How can God do great things for you when you reject part of His Holy Word?

When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life (Proverbs 6:22,23). These verses refer to the commandments and laws of a mother and dad rearing their children in the fear of the Lord, parents who are putting the Word of God into hearts and the instructions of God into lives. Put the Word of God into a child and the Word talks. My mother and dad put the Word of God in my heart. When I would start to do things that would have gotten me into trouble, that would have brought reproach upon my family, the Word would talk to me, the Word they had put in my heart. God declares it will talk: When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.

To accept instruction you must accept reproof. Children who have not received reproof through instruction go into life crippled. Just as a child needs instruction and reproof to be groomed for life, we must have reproof, instructions from God. God has given these to us through His Word. If we embrace the complete Word, then whether we wake or sleep the Word of God will keep us, direct us, protect us from evil. The Word of God will keep us from sinning. Some people sin every now and then because the Word isn’t really in their hearts. They will not use the Word. If you have problems keeping out of sin, it’s because you won’t use the Word.

His Will for You? Overcoming the Enemy

The Word is your protection. The Word protected Jesus against Lucifer when he tempted Jesus. Jesus answered him with, “It is written…it is written…it is written.” It’s the Word that makes you an overcomer, the Word that defeats the devil.

Never talk to the devil unless you use the Word of God in all faith believing. The Word of God speaks to the devil, and he must move. The devil never moves when you’re speaking; the only time he moves is when you use Thus saith the Lord. The prophets of old knew the secret; they used Thus saith the Lord. I use Thus saith the Lord and the blind receive their sight; Thus saith the Lord and the crippled are made to walk. It’s done in the name of Jesus. I use the Word. Without it miracles and healings would not take place.

For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me (Psalm 31:3). For thy name’s sake, lead me and guide me. I am special to you, God. I am made by you, your workmanship. You are the Master Builder; now lead me, guide me, direct me. I am yours. My eyes are upon you. My eyes of love are fixed upon you. I have lost sight of the world, of the pleasures of sin. I delight in the Lord my God. He is my protection, my strength, my hope. Not man’s plan, but the way of the Lord is my desire. I have my heart set on the way of the Lord, and that way I shall go.

His Will? To Satisfy the Longing Soul

The way of the Lord will satisfy my soul. For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness (Psalm 107:9). I am thirsty for thee, oh God. I am hungry for thee. My soul thirsts for you as I thirst for water in a dry land. The real me is a part of you, God, that eternal part that can never die. It longs for you. I feast myself upon thee; I delight myself in thee. My love is upon you, and I know your love is upon me. You will do me good all the days of my life: that I trust in, depend on. You will do me good and no evil. I will never blame you for anything wrong. You declared that goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life because I am dwelling in the house of the Lord, in His house of love, peace, understanding, wisdom and knowledge. The Word is in action in my heart, not outside me, but in my heart. It works. I have the wisdom and knowledge served to me that I need. I don’t have to worry or fret. I don’t have to be afraid. In God, there’s nothing to fear, nothing to worry about. How wonderful to be led by Him!

Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go (Isaiah 48:17). Why should you question your Lord? Why should your mouth be filled with why’s when your heart should be filled with promises of the Lord so that your life can be rewarded with promises fulfilled?

His Will for You? The Spirit of Truth

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth. Jesus said you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. For he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come (John 16:13). What a wealth of knowledge and understanding, what a wealth of instruction to do us good Jesus brought us! The Holy Ghost will not speak one word concerning Himself. He speaks the things of God to us—and there is never an end to the greatness of God. God fills the whole world and the heavens, too. Why should you always be looking for God when He fills the whole earth? Why should you search for Him when He is everywhere, in every valley and on every mountain top? Why should you be seeking Him in the dark when there is no dark where He is? His Word is light. Why should you be filled with doubt when you could be filled with His love? Why should you have misgivings when it can be complete trust in the Lord? Why should there be hate in you when God has enough love in His Book to love even your enemies, to love every person’s soul on planet Earth? All the love that He has served mankind down through the years, all the love of Calvary is yours only through the Word.

You’re obligated. There’s no way around it. To bypass any part of this Book is to bypass God Himself. It’s an insult to God and the Holy Spirit for you to bypass any of this Word, to refute any of it. You have an open door to eternity with Jesus if you go through the Word but a closed door without it. Only through the Word can you reach Him. Only through the Word can you find Heaven or eternal life. To bypass the Word puts you in great trouble on the wrong paths. Your feet are not walking the paths of God’s instructions to you. You’re on your own. Out of the will of God, you’ll die possibly at a time earlier than you would have, had you been in God’s will. Only those who walk in the divine will of God, only those whose feet find the divine paths die at the exact moment that God planned. You can lengthen your days or shorten your days—the Bible declares it.

Through obedience to God you walk the divine way of the Lord. Why struggle so with self? Why not let self be crucified through this Book? Why not let self be brought under subjection to every word in this Book? God has spoken it; God stands firm with it. It cannot be changed, pushed aside. You dare not neglect it in this final hour. Only through the Word will you be ready for the Rapture. Only through the Word will we make the Rapture. It isn’t what man thinks or what man says; it’s what God says. Your path must be directed by Thus saith the Lord.

His Will? Ask What You Will

The Bible, I say again, is more valuable than all the riches in the world. How much time do you spend protecting it? You spend time and money protecting your possessions, but the greatest possession of all isn’t insured unless you have accepted it all in your heart, embraced it and your life is abiding in it. Jesus said, If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you (John 15:7). The devil has fooled God’s people down through the years, made them weak. They haven’t used the Word of God, and then they blamed God for not doing all that He promised. God does what He promised to do every time He has been given a chance, saith the Lord. When you give God a chance, when you meet Him through His Word, He will move for you. You can only meet Him through His Word. The great God of the universe will have nothing to do with you unless it is through His Word. Only through the Word of God can you be accepted by God. When you stand before God on that day, you will face the Word of God. It won’t matter what church you belonged to, what their rules or doctrine; all that will count is whether or not you lived up to the Word of God.

Since the Bible is the only standard for Heaven, why not use it on life’s journey? Since the Bible is the door leading into the greatness of God, why not treasure it with your very life?

Would you put your life on the line for this Book? Stephen did. He paid the price willingly. He did it with great pride in his Lord, great rejoicing. Stephen died in the same Spirit as Jesus. He prayed in the same Holy Spirit. “Father forgive them,” Stephen declared. Looking beyond this life, he saw Jesus.

Many are lonely and depressed because they have let the devil rob them—and yet they have the greatest weapon, the only all-powerful weapon against every bit of evil on planet Earth that will eventually destroy all evil from the face of the earth—the Word of the living God.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but the strong and mighty Word of God will abide forever. It cannot be destroyed. After we have been in Heaven a billion years, the Word will still live. We will treasure this Word like we treasure God Himself. Even in Heaven you won’t be able to separate this Book from God. When you handle this Book you’re handling a part of God. Think how sacred you would feel just to know you were touching God—through His Word you are. God is so mighty, so sacred, so far beyond us that the Bible declares no man has ever seen His face, and yet we’re going to look upon Him. You will never see the face of God without going through this Book because without God’s holiness you will never look upon God. Only through His Book can we see His plan; only through this Book can we believe for eternal life after death, eternal bliss—only through this Book. Many are searching for life after death; through this Book it is found.

I am not searching for peace; I have found it. I am not searching for love; I have found more love than I can use—through this Book. I am not lonely because I am never alone. The Personality in this Book walks hand in hand with me. He will never leave me alone. He will walk all the way with you, too. The great, mighty God is walking again with the man, with the woman He adores—just as He did in the Garden of Eden.

His Will for You? Knowing the Hour of His Greatness

Yea, saith the Lord: This is the hour of my greatness, and I am walking with my children. I am walking with the man, the woman, the boy, the girl that I have made. I have made you into my likeness through my Son Jesus. I have made you to be pure and clean and holy, and I walk with you. I walk with you, and I light up your paths.

I instruct you, and you follow my instructions. I hear your promises, and I delight in your promises that you keep with me. And I always keep my promises with you.

I will be with you in time of trouble, and I will serve you in time of need. I will dry your tears when no human hand can dry your tears, and I will hug you close to me in this your final hour. I will breathe upon you with joy, and I will breathe upon you with peace, and I will breathe upon you with strength, and I breathe upon you with health. And I will make your path a plain path. And you will be purged daily of all doubt and fear through my Holy Word.

And my Word will live day and night, and my promises will be fulfilled. And you will behold my greatness and all of my prophecies fulfilled. Your hour is indeed a great one, and I have brought you to this hour on purpose.

Fear not this hour. Fear not as I speak unto you. I will use you in this harvest field, and your voices together will be heard throughout the whole earth through my faith and my love. I will pour out my healing for the whole person as you declare liberty for all through my Son Jesus.

And my Holy Spirit will flood the earth with miracle greatness, and my gifts will work in perfection. And multitudes that no human mind can number will declare that I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. And my Kingdom will suddenly be enlarged; and then the end shall come, saith the Lord.

Oh, my children, know the hour that you’re in. Know that this is the hour of my greatness, saith the Lord, and know that my Word will all be fulfilled. I have declared it, decreed it; and it shall be done, saith the Lord.

Be not troubled in your Spirit; be not confused in your mind and heart. I will make your path plain and pour out my greatness like mighty waters, saith the Lord unto this people.

We walk with God, and He walks with us. We talk to God, and He replies through His Holy Word. What a blessed hour this is! It’s the most glorious hour of all, really, as we look to Rapture ground. He’s with us; He ordained it to be.

Touch Him. Accept nothing but His promises and the fulfillment. If you lack knowledge, ask of God. If His promises are not real to you, it’s time to ask for the wisdom and knowledge of God. It will bring you into living reality of Him, help you climb out of the deepest of valleys to reach mountain peaks that you might help others.

Walk in His likeness; think with the mind of Jesus. Yield so completely that all the spots and wrinkles will be gone in that hour of the catching away. This is it: prepare. Nothing really counts now but doing the will of the Lord, being spotless and holy vessels that the Lord can use on His great table to serve all humanity, all of Jesus—vessels of honor, honored by God, vessels pure and clean, inspected by the eye of God. This is God’s holy will for us all.
