God is a God of plans. He has a plan for everyone and everything, and each person is somewhere in God’s plan. However, when you betray His plan for you, it is no longer yours; and you are walking afar off. You could take your last breath at any time and go into eternity unprepared.

God had a beautiful plan to make the universe and a planet called Earth, and He did not need human beings to help Him. He simply spoke the universe into existence, and the Bible says that He hung it upon nothing. He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing (Job 26:7).

Then God spoke the moon and the stars into existence, and He made the sun to give us light. He made the trees and the green grass, the streams, rivers, creeks and seas. God made the birds to sing and to build nests; He made the fish to live in the sea, and He made the animals. God never intended for animals to be wild; but when man failed, the devil was able to get into them. When you fail the plan of God, you allow the devil to enter your life.

God’s Destroyed Plan

When you get saved, you have the beautiful plan of redemption, the plan of all plans; but God’s original plan was for a perfect man. God created a man who never would have been sick; his teeth never would have decayed, and his eyes never would have grown dim. Man would have always remained young if he had stayed in God’s plan.

God saw that His man looked lonely by himself, so He decided to make a woman for him; and God made her a part of the man. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man (Genesis 2:21-23).

God made a beautiful mate for Adam, but the devil used Eve to destroy the plan of God in Adam’s life. The devil had tried everything he could to get to Adam, but Adam always took the plan of God; so he first destroyed God’s plan in Eve’s life.

God told me that after He had created Adam and Eve, He did not look into the future to see if they were going to sin. He wanted them to trust Him in perfection, so He knew He would have to put that same faith in them. It was not God’s plan for man to sin, and God did not know that man would sin.

A Plan of Grace

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD (Genesis 6:8). Noah found grace in the eyes of God, and God had a far-fetched plan for his life. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make thee an ark of gopher wood (Genesis 6:13,14).

God wanted Noah to build an ark according to the plan He gave him in Genesis 6:14-16, and it would take him 120 years to do that. After the ark was built, God would choose the animals He wanted on board Himself; and His Spirit would draw them inside. Then God would close the door.

And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth, There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah. And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in. And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth (Genesis 7:7-9,16,17). It rained for forty days, but Noah’s family and the animals were actually in the ark for over a year. The Bible tells us exactly when Noah entered the ark. In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened (Genesis 7:11). Then, it tells us when he came out. And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried. And God spake unto Noah, saying, Go forth of the ark (Genesis 8:14-16).

The Miracle of Supply

Some people have tried to figure out how there was enough food on the ark to feed all the people and the animals for all of that time, but God made their food barrels to be miracle barrels that were never empty. God did the same thing for the widow woman the Bible tells about in I Kings.

There was a great famine in the land, and the Lord sent Elijah to the widow woman’s house. When he arrived, he asked her for a morsel of food. And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah (I Kings 17:12-16).

God had a plan for the widow woman’s life, and she accepted that plan and obeyed God. If she had not followed through on God’s plan, her need would not have been supplied; and God would have had to send Elijah somewhere else for food.

Elijah Proved God

God had a great plan for Elijah, and there had not been a true prophet among God’s people for many years until he came along. The Bible tells us of him standing before Ahab saying, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word (I Kings 17:1). At first, Ahab paid no attention to Elijah, but he learned to pay attention to him when it did not rain for three years.

Before the famine was over, God had yet another plan for Elijah—to prove to God’s people that God is God and will always be God and that Baal was nothing but a dumb idol that the devil had etched in the minds of people. The Bible tells us that the prophets of Baal had prepared a sacrifice and called on their god all day to consume it, but nothing happened; so Elijah commanded water to be poured on the sacrifice until the water ran down and filled a trench around the sacrifice. Then he prayed a simple prayer of sixty-three words, and fire fell from Heaven. And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again. Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God (I Kings 18:36-39).

God’s Plan for Abraham

Abraham was a special vessel; and God had a great, divine plan that Abraham and his wife, Sarah, were going to have a son when they were both past the age. And he [God] said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also? And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old (Genesis 18:10-13)? Then the Lord answered, Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son (Genesis 18:14).

Abraham and Sarah had to wait twenty-five years for the fulfillment of that promise; and during that time, Sarah got ahead of God. And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai. And Sarai Abram’s wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife. And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes (Genesis 16:2-4).

Sarah did not believe God, so she interfered in His plan for her life; and many people have done the same thing. They have messed up the plan of God for their life and then blamed Him for the way their life turned out.

God told me that in the past, He has taken the blame for things He did not do; but in this final hour, He said He will no longer do that. He will let people know that they are the ones who are wrong. Some people will blame God for taking a loved one home; but if that person was a child of God, He had the right to take that child home. It is God’s plan for Him to take His children home, and He is going to take many of them when He makes His second appearance.

Finally, God’s promise to Abraham did come to pass; and Isaac, the miracle baby, was born. And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him (Genesis 21:1,2,5).

Abraham Believed God

Abraham was a perfect believer; and when Isaac was twelve, God told Abraham to offer Isaac as a sacrifice on Mount Moriah. And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of (Genesis 22:1,2).

Abraham did not question God, and he got up early the next morning to do what God had told him to. He took two servants with him who carried the fire and the wood while he took the sacrifice, Isaac. Only Abraham knew that Isaac would be the sacrifice; but he also knew that God would raise his son up alive because God had said, Thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him (Genesis 17:19). Abraham knew that God does not lie, so he went by the promise of God without one speck of doubt.

When they arrived at Mount Moriah, Isaac asked, My father…Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, My son, God will provide (Genesis 22:7,8). In this verse, Abraham gave God a new name that had never been used before—“God will provide.” Later, the New Testament confirms that God will provide through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and through the power of the Holy Ghost. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Abraham put Isaac, the sacrifice, on the altar; and he was drawing back the knife when the angel of the Lord cried out and stopped him. And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son (Genesis 22:11-13).

Abraham walked in God’s plan; and the Bible says that in the spirit, he went all the way in sacrificing Isaac. By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure (Hebrews 11:17-19).

Follow Jesus

Little Isaac carried the wood for the sacrifice; and years later, Jesus would carry the Cross of wood to Calvary for you and me—that was God’s plan. Little Isaac was spared, but Jesus would not be spared; He would have to die on that Cross of wood.

Jesus brought a plan for us, but He had to die before we could be born new and have that plan. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). Salvation comes by no other name but Jesus, and no other foundation can be laid but Him. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 3:11).

It was God’s plan for Jesus Christ to come through the seed of Abraham. For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham (Hebrews 2:16). Christ did not come by way of the Law, and He was never under it; He was the fulfillment of the Law. For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith (Romans 4:13).

Jesus was a high priest after the order of Melchisedec, a priest who had lived to be over 100 years of age. And being made perfect, he [Jesus] became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec (Hebrews 5:9,10).

You can find Melchisedec in history books and in the Bible, and Abraham paid his tithes to him. For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God…first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils (Hebrews 7:1-4).

People Ignore Jesus

So many people today are trying to do away with Jesus, and that is why there is so much trouble in the world. People do not put their trust in God, and many of them do not even believe in Jesus Christ. Because of that, the world is in an awful state and getting worse all the time. Even now, it has come to the place where the Lord said it would be just before His coming. As it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed (Luke 17:26-30).

God’s great plan is going to be fulfilled soon, so you must get ready to leave here. You will go out of this world according to the plan of God or you will be left here according to His plan. If you do not follow through with the plan God has for your life, you will not make it.

God planned for us to be made holy and to be set free through truth, righteousness and holiness; and He made it possible for us to have the nine divine fruits of the Spirit. Jesus brought divinity to Earth and then stayed here for over thirty years to show us how to use it.

Never Look Back

Abraham’s nephew Lot did not stay in the plan of God. Because of that, he lost his wife; and he almost lost his own life. He should never have gone to the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah; but he took his family to live there, and his daughters married wicked men. He tried to warn his sons-in-law to get out when the cities were going to be destroyed, but they did not believe him and instead mocked him. And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law (Genesis 19:14).

Lot’s wife did not believe his warning either. Angels led Lot, his wife and his two daughters out of the city and told them not to look back; however, the Bible tells us, But his [Lot’s] wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt (Genesis 19:26). That is why when Jesus was here, He said, Remember Lot’s wife (Luke 17:32). Are you looking back? When you look to Calvary, you will find Jesus; but when you look back to the world, you will lose Him.

Take On New Life

Jesus brought us a new and living way. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh (Hebrews 10:19,20). Jesus brought abundant life; but to have that life, we have to take God’s plan to be saved, to tithe, to give and to love.

You must have divine faith and use it. The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17). You must have the goodness and mercy to forgive like Jesus did, and only by living at the foot of the Cross will you be able to forgive like Christ forgave. You can never carry a grudge; and you must get rid of all envy, strife and malice.

You cannot just say you love everybody; you have to love them with God’s love because that is His plan. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another (John 13:35). God does not like everybody, but He loves everybody. Likewise, you do not have to like your enemies, but you must love them and be willing to help them get saved; you must not want anyone to die and go to hell.

When we are members of the divine body of Christ, we are put in place by the Holy Ghost Himself; and we are to be His holy temples. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own (I Corinthians 6:19)? Without holiness, nobody will ever see the face of God. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).

Outside Eden, nobody has ever seen the face of God. Adam and Eve were made in the purity of holiness; and as soon as they were created, they could look upon the face of God. They were created in the very image of God, but we were not. We were conceived in iniquity and sins, and we all had to be born new. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me (Psalm 51:5).

When we are born new, we have to quit all of our sinning and become as holy as Jesus Christ. Then we have to separate from the world. When Jesus was here, He prayed to the Father for us saying, They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth (John 17:16,17). Only the divine blood of Jesus can separate us that much.

Do Not Ruin God’s Plan

Down through the ages, men and women have come and gone, some with the plan of God and some without it. Jacob had the plan of God as he was growing up, but his mother, Rebekah, caused him to be deceived; and he fell out of God’s plan. She convinced Jacob to deceive his father and to rob his brother, Esau, of the birthright when the Lord had already promised that Jacob would have it. Rebekah ruined the plan of God for Jacob, and he had to flee for his life.

And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob. And these words of Esau her elder son were told to Rebekah: and she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said unto him, Behold, thy brother Esau, as touching thee, doth comfort himself, purposing to kill thee. Now therefore, my son, obey my voice; arise, flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran; And tarry with him a few days, until thy brother’s fury turn away (Genesis 27:41-44). Jacob was gone for twenty years; and during that time, his mother died. She had left the plan of God and was never able to get back into that plan to see her son again. Think about what she must have gone through, but that is what happens when a person misses the plan of God for his or her life.

God’s Plan for Me

Because we are given free choice, we think we can choose our own plan rather than God’s plan; but you will miss out on so much when you miss the plan of God.

I knew God had a plan for me from the moment I got saved. I did not know right away what it was; but when I found out it was for me to preach, I did not say no. I lived in fastings and prayers day and night as the Lord showed me His plan for my life, and the Holy Ghost would sing and speak through me in many different tongues and dialects. At the time, I did not understand it; but now I know that those were languages of the Earth, and God’s plan was for me to preach His Gospel to the world.

When I was a barefoot farm boy, the Lord carried me into my first vision. I did not know it was God at the time, but I knew it was real; and I never forgot it. As I was lying on my bed, it began to spin around and around; and then it flew out the window. Suddenly, I was way up in the air on my bed, and I was surrounded by millions and millions of stars.

When I finally came to myself, I was spread out like I had been flying. I raised my head and looked around, wondering what had happened and where I had been. I shook the bed, trying to make it go again because I thought I had made it happen. I tried to wiggle my ears, do different things with my eyes and anything else I could think of; but nothing happened. Then it was as if a big hand lifted up one foot of that old, heavy poster bed and dropped it with a big thud, and that was the end.

I never told a soul about that experience, not even my wife, Angel, until after we had built Grace Cathedral. One night, I was down on my knees praying and seeking the face of God with my whole heart when suddenly, the roof lifted off of my living room; and I was in the stars. Then I heard my voice cry out, “I have seen this sight before!” The Lord spoke and said, “I gave it to you when you were a child. The stars are the souls you will win for me.”

A Very Difficult Plan

God had another plan for me, and that was to take Angel home to be with Him. Just before He took her, He visited me and told me that she was not my source of power; but I did not understand what He was trying to tell me. That was the only time God had ever visited with me that the devil stood there, too, as tall as a man; and he was dressed in solid black. He never said a word; but the Lord said, “I am your source of power,” and then He left me. I sat there thinking, “Lord, I have always known that. I never put her ahead of you; and if I did without knowing it, I am sorry.”

A few days later, God tried to tell me that He was going to take Angel home; but I would not accept it. I thought, “The Lord can’t take her. She is my only little lamb, so it has to be a mistake.” But it was not a mistake; it was the plan of God. After Angel was gone, the Lord showed me that the shadow of death had been at our beautiful wedding and that He had planned for her to be with me only a certain amount of time. He also told me that it was His divine will to have taken her; and that by Him taking her when He did, she would bring more souls into His Kingdom than if He had left her with me. I knew that if I had ever believed God, I would have to believe Him then.

The Lord had anointed Angel to go home, and she wanted to go. After we had arrived home one day, we sat in the car talking; and I said, “Angel, I can tell that you have finished with this work.” She paused and then finally said, “Well, the only reason I would not want to go is because I would have to leave you.” However, I knew if she was given a chance, she would go.

When she fell ill, she was only bedridden for five or six days; and then she saw Jesus in our bedroom standing by a little lamp table. She looked at Him and said, “Jesus is here.” She was lit up, and she talked to Him just as one person would talk to another. Then she cried, “Jesus, let down the bridge so I can go across!” She said that three times; then He did let down the bridge, and she happily went across.

I did not know how I could ever live without Angel; but it was the plan of God. He had sent me on a divine mission, and I had taken it for granted that Angel would always be with me; but God had not planned it to be that way. We had worked very hard to build God’s work, and I thought that maybe I had worked her too hard; but God let me know that was not the case. For the first time, I had temporarily lost the vision of the divine mission I was on; but the Lord helped me and spent so much time with me, and He did put me back together again. You can never lose the vision of God’s divine plan for you.

Joseph Did Not Fail

As you go through the Bible, it is amazing to see how God had planned each person’s life. He had a plan for Joseph, and Joseph did not fail. Joseph’s brothers sold him into slavery when he was just a boy; but Joseph kept his eyes on God, and the Lord eventually raised him up to be second in power over all the land of Egypt. Then God used Joseph to save his people during a time of great famine.

And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt. Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life. For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest. And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt (Genesis 45:4-8). Nobody but God could have made or even thought of a plan like that, but all things are possible with God. The things which are impossible with men are possible with God (Luke 18:27).

God Needed Moses

God had a wonderful plan for Moses, and he did not fail. Pharaoh’s daughter found Moses as a Hebrew baby floating down the Nile River in a little homemade boat, but she did not know that the little boat held the plan of God.

And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river’s side; and when she saw the ark among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it. And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, This is one of the Hebrews’ children (Exodus 2:5,6).

Pharaoh had declared that all the Hebrew baby boys were to be killed, so Moses’ mother took the plan of God. She built that little boat; and in all faith, she put baby Moses in it and sent him floating down the river as Moses’ sister watched him from the bushes. Then said his sister to Pharaoh’s daughter, Shall I go and call to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for thee? And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, Go. And the maid went and called the child’s mother. And Pharaoh’s daughter said unto her, Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the woman took the child, and nursed it. And the child grew, and she brought him unto Pharaoh’s daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water (Exodus 2:7-10). Moses’ own mother was able to raise her son after all; God had it all planned.

It was God’s plan for that baby boy to become a mighty power to deliver the Israelites from Egyptian bondage, and it would take miracles in abundance and God’s pillar of fire to do that. But first, Moses would have to go to the burning bush. That was the power of the Holy Ghost; and that was what it would take for Moses to stand before Pharaoh and say, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go (Exodus 5:1). The people were delivered through God’s signs, wonders, miracles and healings.

The Israelites Failed God’s Plan

The Israelites did not immediately enter into the land of Canaan. It was the plan of God for Moses to spend forty days and nights on Mount Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments; but while Moses was on the mount, the people were building a golden calf that they thought would take them back to Egypt. And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him (Exodus 32:1).

Then Aaron told the people to bring him all of their gold jewelry. And he [Aaron] received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves (Exodus 32:4,7).

It was the plan of God for the Israelites to go to the land where milk and honey flowed, and God would have driven out seven nations to give the land of Canaan to the Israelites; but they lost His plan. Then the Israelites had to wander in the wilderness for forty years.

Gideon Obeyed God

God gave Gideon a wonderful plan, and he carried out the plan of God even when it looked like it was impossible for him to win the battle he and the people were headed for. At first, Gideon did not understand God’s plan. And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him [Gideon], and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour. And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of (Judges 6:12,13)? That same question should be asked in the dead churches of today; but many preachers say, “Miracles are not for us today.” A true child of God will know that such a thing is not the plan of God. You must fast, pray and seek God so He can lead you to where He wants you to be.

After Gideon had questioned the angel, the Lord reassured him that everything would be all right. And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man (Judges 6:16). So Gideon gathered thirty-two thousand soldiers; but the Lord told him, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me (Judges 7:2).

There were too many people for God’s plan to be carried out like He wanted it to be; so the Lord told Gideon, Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand (Judges 7:3). Imagine how Gideon must have felt when all of those men left; yet God still said, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there (Judges 7:4).

Then the Lord told Gideon to prove the men by taking them down to the water. And the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink. And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water. And the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place (Judges 7:5-7). Those who got down on their stomachs with their faces to the water to drink were those who had forgotten about the enemy. The men who dipped up the water in their hands and lapped it like a dog were chosen because they remained alert and were watching for the enemy.

Act Out God’s Plan

And he [Gideon] divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man’s hand, with empty pitchers, and lamps within the pitchers. And he said unto them, Look on me, and do likewise: and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that, as I do, so shall ye do. When I blow with a trumpet, I and all that are with me, then blow ye the trumpets also on every side of all the camp, and say, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon (Judges 7:16-18). Each man was given a trumpet and a vessel of clay with a light inside. Then Gideon gave the men special instructions as to what to do with those things.

And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon. And they stood every man in his place round about the camp; and all the host ran, and cried, and fled. And the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the LORD set every man’s sword against his fellow, even throughout all the host: and the host fled (Judges 7:20-22). The men obeyed, and they won. Thousands of the enemies of God began to fight each other because Gideon had held to the plan of God. All the Bible prophets who carried out the plan of God won.

Disobedience Brings Death

God had a plan for a child named Samuel. Samuel means “asked of God”; and Samuel’s mother had promised God that if He would give her a baby boy, she would lend him to the Lord all the days of his life. And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head (I Samuel 1:11).

Samuel’s mother followed through on her promise; and when Samuel was weaned, she took him to the temple and left him with Eli the priest. She told him, For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him: Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshipped the LORD there (I Samuel 1:27,28).

Unfortunately, Eli had not kept his family clean and holy before God. His sons had whored around with the girls at the door of God’s tabernacle, and God was angry; so He killed them. God could no longer talk to Eli, and he was later killed, too. And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle. In that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end. For I have told him that I will judge his house forever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not (I Samuel 3:11-13). The people then cried that the glory of the Lord had departed from Israel, and it definitely had.

God Does Not Fail

Later, God used a little boy with a small basket of food to perform a mighty miracle. The boy had a few little barley loaves and a couple of tiny fish, and God used them to feed thousands. When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him, There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? And Jesus said, Make the men sit down…in number about five thousand. And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would (John 6:5,8-11).

God has a plan for everyone, and no person or devil can keep you from doing the will of God if you want to do it. God will give you the power and the strength to do His will and to listen to what the Spirit is saying. He gives you blood-power over the devil to make him run from you. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

Strength to Do God’s Work

King Hezekiah was told by the great prophet Isaiah to set his house in order because he was going to die; but Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and cried, I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart (II Kings 20:3). God did not deny that statement because Hezekiah was living in the great plan of God. That was why God was going to take him to Heaven and away from the trouble he was in, but Hezekiah wanted to stay; so God told Isaiah, Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD. And I will add unto thy days fifteen years (II Kings 20:5,6).

The Lord promised to renew our youth. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalm 103:2,5). I do not count my years. I am glad to be on Earth winning multitudes for the Kingdom, and I am looking forward to leading millions more to God in this last hour.

We who are God’s children are working hard to reach people all over the world and to turn them to righteousness day and night. This final hour is a time of refreshing and of the pouring-out of the Spirit, and oceans of divine love are flowing through God’s children to cover the whole Earth.

God’s Plans Change Lives

Paul accepted the plan of God once he learned who Jesus really was and became born again. The Lord knocked him down on the road to Damascus and took his physical sight, and those who were with him had to guide him to Damascus. And as he [Paul] journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man. And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink (Acts 9:3-9).

Then it was God’s plan for Ananias to go and pray with Paul. And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost (Acts 9:17).

Next, the plan of God was for Paul to go into the wilderness and be taught by the Holy Ghost, and he let the people know that. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia [the wilderness], and returned again unto Damascus (Galatians 1:11,12,15-17). Paul wrote many wonderful things because he received everything straight from our heavenly Father.

Paul never saw Jesus in the flesh, but nothing could ever stop him. He was conscious of God’s plan every day. He sacrificed greatly and suffered much in his missionary journeys so he could reach more and more souls, and he always stayed in the plan of God. Paul was stoned and left for dead, but the people could not kill him until it was God’s time for him to go. And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead. Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe (Acts 14:19,20).

Destruction Is Coming

Before Paul died, he wrote two books to Timothy, his son in the Lord, whom he really trusted; and he warned him to be a good soldier. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier (II Timothy 2:3,4).

Paul told Timothy about the times to come when people would be without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God (II Timothy 3:3,4). Today, people are without natural affection, and many are bound with drugs and alcohol. Children have mothers and daddies who are not fit to be parents; and many of them cry their little selves to sleep, hungry and naked.

God has had just about enough of this terrible world. The Earth is in an awful shape, and there are not enough true children of God to save it; so it is about to be destroyed. Isaiah said, The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again (Isaiah 24:20).

Do you have God’s plan for you today? I have His plan for me, and I am using it 100 percent. I have told God to let me know if there is even one tiny thing I am missing, and I will correct it; and you must do the same thing. If you do not want God’s plan, you will say no to Him one too many times; and then you will be like the walking dead. God has said that His Spirit will not always strive with man. And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh (Genesis 6:3). Either you will take the plan of God or you will reject it.

Follow God’s Plan

Have you accepted God’s plan for your life today? If so, what are you doing with it? Do you blame God for things that have happened to you? I never blame God for anything bad, but I give Him the credit for the good things.

I know that God has always looked out for me and that the angel of the Lord has followed me from the time I was born because God gave me a revelation of that. He told me I was marked in my mother’s womb and that the angel of the Lord was in the room when I was born. I could not do the things that other boys or even my own brother could do; God would not allow it. I was almost killed three different times, but the Lord always protected me.

At the age of twenty-three, I went to death’s door. I watched myself go down to about a skeleton, but God did not let me die because He had a plan for me; however, at one point, it looked like I was going to die. I would pray, “God, I do not understand why you called me to preach at eighteen, and now I am dying when I have not committed one willful sin against you since I was saved.” God had always answered me from the time I had been saved, and He had made Himself real to me day and night; but this time, He was not answering me.

I went to the edge of the grave, and I thought I had only a few more days to live; but then God’s plan went into operation. Jesus came and healed me from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet; He did not leave one disease or affliction in my body.

God’s Plan Delivers

Since that time, the Lord has made so many people whole through this Jesus ministry. He will cry through me, “Wilt thou be made whole?” and people are healed of AIDS and all kinds of diseases. They are delivered from devil possession, saved, and baptized in the Holy Ghost in just a few minutes of time. It is the pouring-out time, and the Bible said this time would come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Acts 2:21).

God’s plan for each one of us today is that we must be made holy and become the temples of the Holy Ghost. We must live in holiness and righteousness the rest of our journey here on Earth and be ready to go on the one flight out. Jesus said He would come, and He always keeps His Word.

If you need salvation, say this prayer right now: Oh, God, save my soul. I am so sorry that I have sinned against you, but I have come home; and I will serve you for the rest of my life. I want your divine plan for my life, and I promise you with my whole heart that I will follow that plan. I give everything into your hands. Forgive me, Lord. You said if I would confess my sins, you would forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins! Come into my heart, Jesus! Come on in!

God’s anointing is flowing to you; and thus saith the Lord, many people throughout the Earth will find the plan of God through this prayer as it goes forth.

God Planned Miracles

Now, you can be healed if you really want the plan of God. He made me whole and has given me wonderful health down through these many years, and it is marvelous to be in your youth and to do the work of God; that is His plan.

Take the plan of God for your body today just like many of you have already taken His plan for your souls. In the name of Jesus, I bring the sick and afflicted to you, Lord. Lay a healing hand on them now. I curse AIDS in the bodies of the people today. Heal those with cancer, heart trouble, lung trouble, diabetes and those who have suffered strokes. Heal little, deformed children and those born with just part of a brain. You have already healed so many of them and given them a whole brain. Heal! in the divine blood name of Jesus. Heal!

Feel God’s healing power flowing into you to make you well. Be made whole and then write and tell me about it. Take the whole plan of God for your life and never leave it. You must follow Jesus all the way; and only then will I see you on the one flight out and in the New Jerusalem, that wonderful city whose builder and maker is God.
