Before we left for Accra, the capital of Ghana, West Africa, different people commented that the crusade must going to be something special because they had never been fought so much before a crusade. On top of those battles, we were fought through the weather. Our television producer and his crew were late getting to Accra to set up the equipment for the services because heavy snow had forced plane delays and cancellations. They went to Pittsburgh on Tuesday; the plane was there, but the flight crew was unable to make connections. Although it looked as though they wouldn’t be able to leave until Saturday, the Lord worked it out and they left Thursday. When I arrived at the airport Saturday, the man who heads British Airways in Pittsburgh told me that all our equipment was on board. I was elated. Then when we returned home, he came toward me, wanting to know if the equipment had arrived all right. Yes it had, and I thanked him much.

Jesus Appeared

We were late getting out of London. The generator had gone out on one of the plane’s engines. I consoled myself by thinking how much better for it to go out on the ground than in the air. It was foolish to grumble when the Lord let the problem be found before the plane took off. The Lord was there. After two hours, the flight attendant told us to buckle up and get ready; we were on our way. I began praising God, and suddenly, Jesus appeared wearing a crown. As many times as I have seen Jesus in visions, I have never seen Him wearing a crown. I thought at first that it wasn’t Jesus, but it was. Then in a few moments He appeared the second time going before us into Ghana. He let me know the crown signified His great power; and, indeed, the greatness of His power was in the services. We crown Him with a crown of love, surrender, obedience by yielding our lives completely to Him. That’s the crown He wants, a crown that makes His great power available for us to use through our obedience to Him.

We arrived in Accra a few days before the hot, hot weather set in. Walking down the steps from the plane, we felt an encouraging breeze. Preachers and others were there waiting to greet us. Two ladies came with flowers for the preacher. It was marvelous. Many don’t get that much attention at Christmas. The people showed great love; they wanted to get to me just to shake hands. Not only the preachers, but the workers and the other people at the airport in Accra gave us a wonderful welcome.

Ministers’ Meeting

The greatness of God was in the ministers’ meeting on Wednesday. The Lord told me what He wanted me to teach. It was teaching and preaching, preaching and teaching, teaching and preaching all woven together.

I gave each minister the book, Leeching of the Mind. The Lord moved on me to sing, “I’m a Millionaire” and they joined in, singing with all their hearts. Heaven came down as they sang, blessed and praised God, yielding to the Word of God. The preachers want to get eveything they can, every phrase spoken about the Lord. The people are hungry for a reality in God. Some had been fooled about the Holy Ghost, taught to speak in tongues and prophesy at will. The Holy Ghost is the one to speak as He gives utterance; it is to be under His control, not man’s. The tour group played a part in that teaching, too, talking one on one with people and testifying and preaching in the churches.

To feed the Word of God to people so receptive is a thrill.

The tour group went to a crowded marketplace Thursday morning, the first full day they were there. Passing out literature and inviting people to the crusade services, they found the press of the crowd to be so great that it was difficult to minister to people one on one. But the tour members used their creativity and some sang, some visited the jail, and some passed out literature in a large three story market building nearby.

All Miracles Come from This Miracle

The first night of the crusade services was very special, taking up where the service last year left off, and the power of God fell. When I arrived at the Kaneshie Sports Complex Thursday evening, people were there singing, clapping their hands and getting ready to be blessed.

Thousands of hands were reaching to heaven, thousands of voices lifted in praise. The heart leaps within to hear the crowds saying Je-e-e-s-s-s-u-u-s-s-s in unison. His all-powerful name clears the air, drives back the demons. I told the crowd that praise was ordained to bring people in. Get your soul right with God and you have all you need, and you can only get it right through the all-powerful blood of the Lamb.

The service began with testimonies of people who had been healed through the ministry, and then came the sermon “All Miracles From This Miracle.” From the miracle of the divine blood that Jesus brought come all other miracles. With that miracle we have salvation and healing. From that miracle come the fruits of the Holy Spirit. From that miracle everyone has an opportunity to taste those fruits. Divine blood brought Lazarus from the grave and divine blood will bring the resurrection morn for the children of God. From the first coming of Jesus with His divine blood flows the promise of the second and third comings. From this miracle we have the four Gospels and the New Testament. The nations need the reality of this one miracle. All one day will face God on what they have or have not done with the miracle of the divine blood of Jesus.

The sermon ended; it was time for the salvation call and the healing line. Miracles and healings began to take place. God was there. As the Word went forth and found lodging, sowing and reaping happened in a moment’s time. The miracles came through that one great miracle of the divine blood of Jesus. In prophecy, the Holy Ghost spoke to let people know that there was power in His divine blood over all the powers of the devil, that He would move and deliver. We were visited by many angels, and they were rejoicing. I told the people to take His presence with them, to sleep with it and let Him get them completely well. Through the divine blood it is all possible, for with God nothing is impossible.

True or False

Friday morning the tour group set out to a different location. Close to a bus stop and market area, the place was well suited for meeting people. The group gave out many magazines and tracts and invited hundreds to the services. The group returned to the hotel thrilled and excited over the souls they had touched.

In the service that evening, I told the people to bring their burdens to the Lord and leave with an armful of blessings. The message that night was “True or False.” Tonight is a test, I said. Decide which way you are going. With great enthusiasm the crowd joined in when I asked if a statement were true. Jesus is the Lamb of God, and the crowd shouted True!

With His stripes we are healed. True!

He’s the Savior of the world. True!

He is worthy of all praise. True!

The Lord brought abundance of miracles for those who accepted the truth.

An Unexpected Rally

Many times I have had Holy Ghost rallies in the crusades, but never on the second night. I hadn’t planned one at all in this crusade; however, the Lord had one planned. It was ordered of the Lord. After the sermon, God moved mightily and conviction fell in such a great way that many found salvation; and, in the Spirit of the Lord, they just kept yielding and yielding. People were crying out to God, praising God when suddenly the Lord moved on me to start calling the Holy Ghost down on them. The Lord took the service over, and many, many—those who were saved and those who had just gotten saved that night—received the Holy Ghost. That’s real Calvary salvation. They were ready. It was easy for the Lord to baptize them in the Holy Ghost. They didn’t have to tarry and tarry for it. The Holy Ghost was excited—all those vessels to be filled! He was filling vessels and we were shouting, rejoicing and praising God. The more He filled, the greater the shout, the greater the joy. Time seemed to stand still.

Others who thought they had the Holy Ghost but didn’t, received the real baptism. It’s tragic to think you have the baptism in the Holy Spirit when what you really have is a fooling, not the real baptism of power at all.

The Holy Ghost baptism is wonderful, and many don’t understand about the greatness of the Spirit or the love, the joy and the peace that go with it. They have been taught by man to speak in tongues and told it was the Holy Gost. They spoke as they willed, and not as the Holy Ghost gave utterance.

On this great night of the Holy Ghost’s infilling, the angels were shouting with joy. I have never seen it on that order, that many angels. It was wonderful to behold, a rejoicing time, and marvelous things were taking place. In an amazing way the power of God fell, and it will fall greater and greater as God pours out His Spirit in these last days.

Then the gift of discerning began to go into the lives of people. A woman was pointed out, a backslider. You once served in a local church, and the devil is saying they won’t want you back. He lied. They will show you love if you come back.

A man living in adultery: The Lord has called you, and you are close to being cut off without remedy. Turn from your wicked ways.

In through here is a person who cheated a relative out of much money. You are not excused in the eyes of God. You will never get to Heaven unless you pay back the money.

The Lord gave someone his last call. Seventeen devils bound that person, but as the people prayed and the Holy Spirit through me called the devils to come out through the blood of Jesus, the person was delivered and saved.

This is a little of what the blood is doing, of the power in the blood of Jesus, the Word of God in action. I live with God; He is my life, the very air I breathe.

I prayed for people in the healing line, and then the Lord began to point out people for AIDS: A man over here…two victims straight ahead…four in through here…five over there…fourteen in that section. The Lord revealed that twenty-one people in the back had been healed of AIDS. The Jesus blood miracle has just given you new life. Nine people starting from this point are being blood-cured of AIDS. Death is leaving you. Twenty-nine people in this other section are healed of AIDS. The Holy Ghost spoke saying over and over, “I am the Lord that healeth thee!” He is Lord; He has all power and no power can stand before His power. The Lord was revealing Himself in a mighty way, and I prayed that the people would be healed of whatever disease or affliction they had.

The Word was preached, and the Lord confirmed it with signs and wonders. The blood Word set free; the blood Word produced the miracles, the blood Word. People saw God moving for their own, reaching out for their sick and afflicted. As the Lord moved for AIDS victims, the crowd was thrilled beyond words. When the deaf and dumb were made whole they loved it. Mothers and daddies brought their children and saw them healed by the power of God. Testimonies of people who had been healed through this Jesus ministry stirred the people, lifted their faith heaven high. It was no trouble to get them to God, no trouble to take their hands and put them into the nail riven hands. It was a joyful task. Not battling doubt, fear and frustration, the people were ready for God’s love, ready to soak it up and take it home with them. Hearts and lives were filled with the Lord.

Ghana was open to the truth, all the truth. They wanted God to love them, and they were excited that God did love them. As the love of God swept the place, they were aglow. The Lord went right into their hearts with His love and revealed the things that were hindering them, the things they needed, how they should take the next step into the greatness of God.

The Lord was getting His message of the blood into the people. All need the blood message. The Early Church had the blood message; it was the revelation that Paul got of the mysteries of God. The mysteries in the blood of Jesus are beyond the human mind. He is forever teaching me more about the blood; there is no end to it.

The Miracle of the Blood

Saturday’s service began again with testimonies of people who had been healed through this ministry. The sermon that night was “The Miracle of the Blood.” In Old Testament days the tabernacle was divided between the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place. Only the High Priest could enter the Most Holy Place, and then only once a year. A rope was tied around his waist so that in case he died while performing his duties he could be pulled out. It meant death for anyone else to enter the Most Holy Place. Jesus came to earth on a mission that meant death for Him. Today we don’t have to stand outside the Holy of Holies; we have Jesus, our High Priest, who made it possible for us to go boldly before the throne of grace. Jesus destroyed the partition between man and God through His miracle blood.

The divine blood of Jesus is the greatest weapon against the devil that we have. Plead the blood; use the blood. Through the miracle blood of Jesus, people are saved, healed and delivered, and devils are cast out.

The Old Testament is filled with types and shadows of living reality of the blood to come. Rahab used the scarlet thread which ensured her safety; that token represents the saving blood of Jesus. The miracle blood was a token in Egypt in the form of the blood of the Passover lamb placed on the doorpost. When the death angel saw the blood, he passed over that household. When God sees the blood of Jesus applied to your heart, you are saved from eternal death in hell. However without the shed blood of Jesus, there is no remission of sins.

For a token to be effective it must be backed up with something real. The blood of the Passover lamb was only a token, but it worked because the divine blood of Jesus was the reality that backed it up. There is power in the blood of Jesus, power in the blood of Jesus! I cried as the crowd cheered and praised God. One angel with one chain, representing the chain of blood, will put the devil into the bottomless pit…one angel, one chain. All power is in the blood of Jesus. Jesus gave His divine blood so all partakers of His blood could be set free. The divine blood has power over any devils or demons and over the devil himself.

I am here to use the blood, I told the crowd. Jesus set the captives free with His divine blood, and alcoholics can be delivered tonight as well as those on drugs. In the name of Jesus, those devils have to come out. Thousands have been delivered by that blood name. When the blood is used, no demons can stay in a person who truly wants them out.

The Lord has given me great love for you, His blood love, I told those who came to the platform for deliverance. This is God’s power over devil possession. God numbers the devils. Yield to Him; want His deliverance. Let it be the cry of your heart.

If we ever had a powerful service for the alcoholics, it was that Saturday night in Ghana. I didn’t know when I was ever going to get through praying for them; God knocked them down as though they had been hit in the head by a big hammer. Someone who has traveled with me for many years exclaimed, I’ve never seen it like that before!

In the past I would go down the healing line, stopping to tell a person how many devils possessed him, but this time there was no stopping. As soon as the devils were numbered, the person fell, and immediately the devils were numbered in the next one, and so on down the line. Nineteen devils, and down the person went. Thirty-one devils, and the person fell as the Lord delivered him. It was fast—fourteen…seventy-one…twenty-eight. Not one was left standing.

Casting out devils is the greatest power that the Lord sends. Through the blood it works, and that’s the way the gift of miracles is going to work: through the blood. I knew the gift of miracles would work much in this last hour; the Lord revealed it to me in the divine visitation in 1954. Now we are headed into the blood work so that the gift of miracles can operate on a great scale. The blood, the miracle of the blood—there’s no miracle like it. From the blood flow the miracles of God. People will find reality through the blood of Jesus. They’ll have a blood mind as well as a blood soul. It’s amazing the way the Bride will carry the blood hands! I lift up my hands, blood hands, and the devils back away. The Lord said in Mark 16 that signs will follow believers, and we are seeing the signs and wonders of His miracle power moving greater and greater each day.

After the alcoholics were prayed for, God rained down mass miracles on the crowd, moving for 1,797 stomach conditions.

Two thousand seven hundred sixteen who came in with nervous disorders don’t have it anymore, saith the Spirit.

God moved for 5,711 people with blood disorders, 12,121 with head trouble.

Eleven thousand one hundred thirteen people with skin trouble, rashes, sores: You’re free, saith the Lord.

Twenty-one thousand seven hundred forty-one with internal disorders: Reach out and take your miracle now. Put your diseases under the blood, and when you do, they are destroyed.

Put Off the Old; Put On the New

Every night the crowds increased until Sunday it was a sight to behold. I preached, “Put Off The Old and Put On the New.”

If you don’t have that beautiful coat of newness, put it on and go forth in the power of His grace, love, encouragement, putting off all doubt and fear. That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:22-24). God created Adam and Eve in righteousness, holiness and in all purity, love, strength, and the power of God. Man would never have been sick had the devil not gotten into the soul. The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:4) has been the cry of God down through the ages. But the Bible gives us the remedy for that death: His salvation and holiness. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love (Ephesians 1:3,4).

Divine blood covers human minds, re-creates them in the righteousness and holiness of God. The Holy Spirit will keep the minds of His true children cleansed with the blood of Jesus.

I’m in two worlds in a miracle service: one moment looking into Jesus’ face, and the next, looking at the person before me. It’s Bible. He is my life, my bread from Heaven, my wisdom and understanding. His delivering power will work in anyone who will let it. The Word walked in Jerusalem and the Word is walking in Ghana.

Get ready to die or ready to live. None of us have ever been fit to die until we are fit to live. Live in His presence by keeping your mind stayed on these six things: Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8).

When a person receives salvation, the soul is sealed with the blood of redemption, the blood of Jesus, by the Holy Spirit. The mind does not carry that seal, for the blood does not cover the mind until you let the Holy Spirit shed blood on the mind daily, wipe away the wrong thoughts and ideas. The Holy Spirit is your guide, your teacher, the one to shed abroad the love of God in your heart and mind.

Perfect love casts out fear. The love of God establishes your goings. No power can destroy the love of God. As long as the love of God is in you, you want to do all His will. If you don’t do His will, His love is not in you.

For the Lord, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:5,6). We are saved by grace, not works. Our salvation is a gift from God. We are new creatures through the blood of Jesus. I preach the shed blood of Jesus, the blood, pure, divine. Without holiness through the shed blood, you will never see His face.

If you are a sinner, give your heart to God and serve Him the rest of your life. God isn’t interested in healing you if you won’t glorify Him. He heals for His honor and glory. Always give it to Him. God heals, not I. There is no greatness in me, no secret power. It’s all through the blood power of Jesus, and I am a witness. I watch Him work.

All over the stadium, the Lord will deliver people from AIDS, I said. God told me to put that awful disease under the blood of Jesus. His blood destroys all sin and all sickness. The Lord is preparing you for this greatness tonight. It’s going to be mighty. People here with AIDS will leave without it. Remember the bondage of sin. When Jesus said to let it go, it went. The blood flowed over the soul. When the blood-voice speaks, miracles take place. That voice makes devils flee, move aside. Don’t think what a terrible disease AIDS is; think what a wonderful Savior you have.

The only cure for AIDS is to rest your case in the Lord, I said. Some of you are just moments away from being healed. It will be all through the blood. Jesus has come by this way with His miracle blood. He has come to destroy the works of the devil. When He walked the earth, He healed all manner of diseases among those who believed Him, and He does the same today. Do not think you will receive if you doubt. Healing works as simply as opening and closing your hand. Don’t limit God. Decide this is your night and always say that it was God who brought the miracle. I come to you in the blood name, with His blood stripes. He is flowing His blood to heal soul and body. Miracles are about to take place. Accept His blood power and be made well.

Then the healing power of God moved in: The blood of Jesus is flowing and AIDS is disappearing. Miracles for AIDS are taking place. Call upon God and He will hear. Call in faith, call in love. Miracles are taking place. Let all fear and dread leave you. You’re taking the cure in the name of Jesus. The Lord is destroying AIDS in bodies of people tonight. There is power in the blood to destroy AIDS.

Many received life through the blood. It came just like salvation. If you have any more symptoms, I told the people, put them under the blood. Angels are here, they have been touching people. Feel the sacredness of them. Many are here, standing tall as people. They change the atmosphere.

The Lord had let me know that He was going to use angels in a great way. Many were touched by an angelic being. Angels lingered in that place giving glory to God, praising and rejoicing with the people. The devil had been defeated again and again, the results of the blood. Angels rejoiced to see it.

How many thousands were cleansed of AIDS through the blood of Jesus, I don’t know. The Lord, not man, taught me that AIDS would be destroyed by putting it under the blood. Faith soared high. It was a miraculous hour, a miraculous time as the people were healed, cleansed of AIDS. The effect was powerful, greater than dynamite. Many who were afflicted with AIDS, who had death working in them, walked away with life. Think about having death in your body, knowing you have no cure and then suddenly having the full assurance that death has been conquered. It’s over. The blood swallowed it up. That’s what happened. People standing there were being cleansed before us, the blood was flowing through them, and it was over.

God has given us a two-fold atonement, healing for soul and healing for body. Always it was to have been like that, but man has failed again and again to find reality in the promises of God. In this final hour, the two-fold atonement is the light for the Bride. The Bride will carry the blood message and the power of the Holy Ghost and nothing less.

When people yield to the Holy Ghost and let Him use the blood, they get things done for God. The Holy Ghost is the agent who uses the blood; He uses it for salvation, remember, and then He seals the soul with it. He flows the blood for miracles and healings, and uses it to shed abroad the love of God in hearts.

It’s marvelous to have the knowledge of what is going on in a congregation, to be standing before them knowing the blood is working—the all-powerful blood—and that people are being cleansed.

The real power of God is the blood power that the Bride must use; nothing less. It doesn’t matter what others are doing, what they’re saying; we’ve got to use the blood, the blood. Jesus came and brought the blood all the way from Heaven; that’s how priceless it is. Not a drop of that blood was wasted. He carried it back to Heaven, offered it on the altar of God, and now it’s available to us at all times. That altar in Heaven is our altar. Did you know we have an altar in Heaven? We do, one special for the blood spilled on Calvary. We turn on that blood through the power of the Holy Ghost, through faith in that blood. And that blood flows.

First Day of the Teaching Seminar

Monday we met with the ministers in one of the local churches; it was a wonderful place to be. Fans were suspended from high ceilings, and double balconies extended all the way around on three walls. A platform stretched in front of the fourth wall. The church was filled. I gave the ministers the first Giant Little Book on the Blood of Jesus and made them promise to read it by the next day’s seminar. If they read the first book, I would give them two more books.

Tuesday’s Teaching Seminar

The walls, pillars, floor of the church were anointed after these sessions. On Tuesday I told the people that the Holy Ghost requires order. You can have all flesh and no God, and so you must learn how to give over to the Holy Spirit. You will never have the Jesus personality until your spirit flows into His one hundred percent. First, of course, you must be born new. Through the divine blood, you are made brand new. Forgive people through the blood. The blood forgives. The blood will not operate in the mind unless it first cleans out the soul. If you have holes in your soul, you can’t hold on to the things of God; you backslide. The soul is the reservoir to hold all the joy and peace of the Lord.

The Holy Ghost requires order in your life. Be organized. Learn your limits, what you can and can’t do. Use God’s justification, not man’s. Prayer, fasting and living in the Word are the three steps that will take you into God. If you don’t feel led to fast when the Lord calls for it, you are not yielding to Him. You are as weak as your opinions. The Holy Spirit came to work inside us, to do all the will of God. When you are organized and yielded, you have no trouble flowing upstream with the Holy Spirit; the world flows downstream the easy way.

No matter what else you have, without the love of God, you are a pauper. Life on earth is shorter than a heartbeat compared to eternal life in the next world. Earth’s life is uncertain, fragile, here now and gone tomorrow like a gust of wind. People depending on life outside of Jesus have nothing of real value, no assurance of security. If your life doesn’t measure up to the Word, you are not like Jesus. The Bible was written for Earth people, not for Heaven. It’s your road map; always love it.

The Lord moved in. The Lord was there. His blood is sufficient, and the Holy Ghost gave out a message through tongues and interpretation.

In this last hour, the love of Calvary must flow like mighty rivers. The Lord told me His power would be poured out like streams, and we have had those. He told me it would become as rivers, and finally go into a mighty sea to cover the earth and then the end would come. Love will close this thing out. The Bride will be taken out in all love, in all grace. The wonder of it all is the keeping love. In the love of God is all the keeping power we need. Since that love is more precious than silver and gold, since our lives, our eternal lives depend on that love, let’s embrace it like never before.

Why was Ghana blessed? Why did God do so much there? Why could God perform thousands of miracles and healings in a moment of time? Why could He save thousands, just thousands and thousands in moments of time? Because they were ready for God’s love.
