Divinity Christmas
by Ernest Angley
December 2017
Christmas comes every year, and people celebrate it in many ways; but do you know how to celebrate Christmas Heaven’s way? To have a real Christmas, you must use divinity. The Lord told me that Christmas first came in a living package of Heaven’s spotless, pure truth—Jesus. People who leave Him out cannot have a true Christmas.
Many people may think they are having Christmas, but where is the holy night and the profound sacredness of Heaven’s spirit of Christmas? Where is the divinity that made the first Christmas in Bethlehem 2000 years ago or the divine peace the angels told the shepherds about when the Virgin Birth of the little King, Jesus, took place?
On the first Christmas long ago, an angel announced Jesus’ birth; and a multitude of angels celebrated it. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men [all who will accept His peace] (Luke 2:8-14). Jesus brought that peace to Earth, but where is it today?
Shepherds Spread the News
The first message of Jesus’ birth was to the lowly shepherds on the hillside as they watched over their flocks by night. They were so caught up with the unusual star, the message of the angel and the multitude of angels singing that they left their flocks and followed that big star to the stable. And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us (Luke 2:15). The fact that those shepherds left their flocks behind was very unusual because their sheep were the way they made their living, and a good shepherd watched over his flock faithfully day and night.
The shepherds rushed to get to the stable. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child (Luke 2:16,17).
After leaving the stable, the shepherds did not immediately go back to their flocks. Instead, they went around telling people what they had heard from the angels and what they had seen in the stable; and although it was nighttime, I’m sure they woke up many people with their message because they were so excited.
But how many people listened to the shepherds’ good news and raced to see Jesus? And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds (Luke 2:18). Unfortunately, most people did not take the time to go see the first Christmas, but just think what they missed.
Many people today are not concerned about the Savior’s birth either. All they care about is making their own short-lived joy and happiness, and that will only send them to a world where there is no Christmas. How sad.
After spreading the good news, the shepherds were still praising the Lord when they finally returned to their flocks. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them (Luke 2:20).
A King Was Born
Jesus’ birth was the miracle of all miracles, and even the animals knew it. They crowded into the barn that holy night and looked into the manger in great wonder because they had never seen anything like it. The whole stable was lit up, and the grounds surrounding it were brighter than the noonday sun. It was a glorious sight to behold!
Salvation had come to the whole world, and only God could have made such a night. Jesus, the divine Son of God and a child of the Holy Ghost, was born of the Virgin Mary. The angel of the Lord appeared unto him [Joseph] in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS [The angels named Him Jesus.]: for he shall save his people from their sins (Matthew 1:20,21). Joseph heard the angel say that Jesus would deliver people from their sins, and it burned upon the altar of his heart.
The angel went on to say, Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us (Matthew 1:22,23). People who do not believe Jesus was born of a virgin cannot have a divinity Christmas here on Earth, and they will not go to Heaven.
The angel said that Jesus is God with us, but how much do you think about God being with you all the time? The Bible says He walks and lives inside of His children. As God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people (II Corinthians 6:16). God’s true children are a chosen people.
The Wise Men Followed the Star
The Jesus star is the star of all stars, and only Jehovah God could have created such a star of Heaven’s might and power with so many glorious manifestations. It appeared for the whole world to see that first Christmas night, yet so few took any interest in it.
The wise men were a part of those few. They saw the star from very far away, and they started on their journey to follow it. Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him…and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him (Matthew 2:1,2,9,11).
The wise men traveled for two years to get to Bethlehem, but the star guided them the entire time. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy (Matthew 2:10). Those men traveled long and hard just to worship Jesus, and then they had to make the long journey back home. Would you have done that?
The people who lived close by Bethlehem had no excuse for not going to see the divine King, but people are the same way today. They don’t care to see Jesus, and they don’t want Him unless they think they are dying. The wise men knew the divine One had come; and today, it is only the wise who are following His star.
Man Lost Divinity
Jesus came so that people could have divinity once again just as the first man and woman had in the Garden of Eden. It was indeed a holy time when God created the human race, and He made man and woman in His image. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness (Genesis 1:26).
Adam and Eve were like the Most-High God. When the Lord looked at them, it was like looking in a mirror—He saw His own reflection. Adam and Eve walked and talked with God face-to-face just as one person talks to another, and they had pure happiness. They needed no medicine, and there was no death. Now, you can find death wherever you go, and it will be that way until God finally destroys it. The Bible says, The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death (I Corinthians 15:26).
Everything was divinity in Eden. All the fruit grew in perfection; there were no weeds, and there was only one bad tree—the tree of evil and death. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die (Genesis 2:16,17).
The Lord plainly told Adam and Eve to stay away from the tree of evil, but Eve thought she could just go and take a look. If the devil can get your attention, you are in trouble. Some people try to see how close to the world they can walk and still not backslide, but most people who have tried that have ended up giving over to the devil; and that is what happened to Eve.
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil (Genesis 3:1-5). At first, Eve didn’t believe the serpent—the devil—but she kept listening; and the devil finally got into her mind.
Eve eventually reached out to touch the evil fruit; and when she didn’t die, she decided God was wrong. However, God did not mean they would die physically but spiritually because people have no real life unless God is in them.
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat (Genesis 3:6). When Eve decided to take a bite of the fruit, she turned God off completely and turned the devil on. Then she became so excited to find she was still alive that she raced to find Adam to show him that what God had said was not true. Adam may not have believed Eve at first, but he loved her so much that he finally reached out and took a piece of the fruit.
You Cannot Hide from God
The devil lied to Eve, and he will lie to you, too, if you will listen to him. That is why you must listen only to God, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Jesus said to each one of the churches in the book of Revelation, He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith (Revelation 2:7,11,17,29; 3:6,13,22).
Later, God came down from Heaven to see Adam and Eve just as He always did. They looked forward to His visit each day; but after they had eaten the fruit, it was different. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden (Genesis 3:7,8).
Suddenly, Holy Ghost conviction took over Adam, and he realized he and Eve were naked. He quickly made aprons of fig leaves, trying to cover their nakedness before Almighty God. Today, that is what I call fig-leaf religion, and it is covering the Earth. Many people think they are going to Heaven when they are headed straight to hell. They think their fig-leaf religion will cover their sin, but not so. Nothing but the blood of Jesus can forgive sins. Without shedding of blood is no remission (Hebrews 9:22).
You can’t hide anything from God. He knows everything, and He knew what Adam and Eve had done. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat (Genesis 3:9-13).
Adam thought he could find deliverance by blaming it all on Eve, and Eve blamed the serpent; but those things didn’t work. So he [God] drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life (Genesis 3:24).
Jesus Will Come Again
Jesus willingly came all the way from Heaven to Earth to bring divinity back to mankind, and then He went to Calvary for us. He knew that only His divine blood would be able to cleanse people of their sins and make them sons and daughters of God. But as many as received him [Jesus], to them gave he power to become the sons [or daughters] of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12).
Jesus shed His blood to make it possible for us to live free from all sin; yet today, most people and even preachers claim that nobody can do that when the Bible says, The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:20).
The Bible warns us that in the last days, there would be a great falling away from the Gospel of Jesus Christ that He brought and showed us how to use; and that is happening today. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition (II Thessalonians 2:3).
God made hell and the lake of fire for the devil and his angels; but because man has sinned against God and wants nothing to do with Him, hell has been enlarged. Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it (Isaiah 5:14).
Jesus came to Earth as the Babe of Bethlehem and brought us divinity, and He is coming again in an hour that we know not to take those who have accepted that divinity home to be with Him. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh (Matthew 24:44). But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only (Matthew 24:36).
When Jesus returns, He will not come all the way to Earth as He did the first time. The Bride will rise to meet Him in the air. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (I Thessalonians 4:16,17).
The Bride of Christ will be perfect in divinity, being without spot, wrinkle or blemish. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:27). The Bride will be full of the Holy Ghost; and through that power, she will be caught up to meet the Groom, Jesus, in the air.
She will be perfect in love, faith, grace and the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance (Galatians 5:22,23). All of those fruits are made available to us, and they must grow inside of us so we can spread them to the world in this final hour. Jesus made it all possible, the One who came as a bundle of divinity, spotless and holy.
The Bride Will Have the Holy Ghost
The members of the bridal company who are alive on Earth when Jesus comes will have to have the Holy Ghost to make the Rapture, and the Bible says that the promise of the Holy Ghost is for everyone. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call (Acts 2:39). And the Lord will give the Holy Ghost to all who will obey Him. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him (Acts 5:32).
If you will believe, you can receive the Holy Ghost just as the disciples received Him on the Day of Pentecost. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:3,4).
The tongue of the Spirit is a tongue of fire. John the Baptist said, I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire (Matthew 3:11). That is not hellfire; it is the fire of the Holy Ghost.
Notice in Acts 2:4 that it was the Spirit who gave the utterance, so speaking in tongues at will is not the real Holy Ghost. Those who do that begin speaking in self; and if they continue, the devil takes over. When you mimic the Holy Ghost, you are on dangerous ground.
God sent the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of truth, to be our teacher and guide. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things [that Jesus taught when He was here on Earth], and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (John 14:26). Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come (John 16:13).
Is Jesus Your Christmas?
There is no true Christmas without our divinity Christmas Jesus, so the members of the bridal company are the only ones who can have a real Christmas. Many people are deceived today thinking that a beautiful tree, gifts and holiday cakes and cookies make Christmas; but a divinity Christmas only comes from Heaven.
What the world says is Christmas cannot bring about the soul-satisfying, heavenly joy found in the miracle of Jesus’ birth, in His divine love and in the holy Christmas carols. His birth was nothing but divinity, so it must be celebrated Heaven’s way; and only those who have Jesus living inside can celebrate Christmas the way Heaven celebrates it.
Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits (Psalm 103:1,2). When you celebrate Jesus’ birth in every divine way, you will remember the benefits you have received through Him, the soon-coming Lord of lords, and King of kings (Revelation 17:14).
God’s children will celebrate the Lord’s birth for eternity because divinity Christmas was brought down from Heaven, and it is a part of Heaven. I am sure it will be one of the greatest times in Glory. That is why even here on Earth, God wants us to have Christmas joy, peace and happiness all the time.
A divinity Christmas is the only kind of Christmas the Lord has ever wanted people to have, and children of God must show the world what that is. When you have divinity Christmas Jesus, you have Heaven here on Earth; and He will never leave you. I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee (Hebrews 13:5).
Jesus is the only king who has left His throne room door open so people can come to Him at any time to find help in time of need. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). The Lord welcomes you to come boldly before Him at any hour of the day or night.
No Christmas for Most
So many people today are unconcerned about the true meaning of Christmas; but the Lord said that in the last days, people would have only a form of godliness rather than the truth. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof (II Timothy 3:5). People want to celebrate in their own way—dancing, drinking, going to parties and having what they call a big, wonderful time—but it is mockery to God.
Many churches don’t even know how to celebrate a true Christmas, and they have no power to draw people. All is dark because they have no light of God, and the truth is being trampled underfoot. Judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter (Isaiah 59:14).
You can find so many spiritually dead men and women in pulpits today, and many churches don’t even have services during Christmas time. How sad. People spend their time doing their own thing and celebrating it the wrong way.
Without Jesus, there would be no Christmas; and God has had just about enough of what people are doing. He is putting the finishing touches on the Bride; and soon, He will come after those who are looking for Him. Unfortunately, most people in the world are not looking for Jesus to return, and God’s judgments will fall on those who miss the Rapture. Then they will have no more Christmases to mock; and they will be headed to an eternal place of no hope, no love, no flowers and no sunshine.
Many people think they will get into Heaven by their good works; but the Bible says, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8,9).
No one will make it to Heaven without accepting the divine blood and living free from sin. Jesus did not sin, and we are to be like Him. Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth (I Peter 2:21,22).
If people do not honor God or believe in His divinity, there is no Heaven for them; and that is why so many people on Earth today will never have a divinity Christmas. They want to make their own Christmas; and in doing so, they are making their bed in hell and the lake of fire. Whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:15).
Jesus Brought Deliverance
Jesus is our great healer; and He has healing balm for body, soul and mind. He even heals our sorrow and grief. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief (Isaiah 53:3). Jesus shed His divine blood at the whipping post so we could be healed. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Jesus knew what it was like to be a man. He walked the shores of Galilee and the dusty streets of Jerusalem, but He was also divine; and He brought the dead back to life. He cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go (John 11:43,44).
That powerful voice of Christmas Jesus brought Lazarus out of the tomb; yet because of that miracle, some people wanted to kill both Jesus and Lazarus. From that day forth they [the chief priests and Pharisees] took counsel together for to put him [Jesus] to death (John 11:53). The chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death; Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus (John 12:10,11).
People’s hearts can be as ugly as the devil himself, and yet they think they will go to Heaven when they die. There is no Heaven for anyone who will not accept divinity Christmas Jesus. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). He came saying, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6).
Jesus came to be the Savior of the world. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world (I John 4:14). And He did become our Savior when He offered Himself on Calvary for the sins of all people. All they have to do is believe in Him and accept Him. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God (I John 4:15).
Win the Lost
We must have the Jesus vision to go into all the world and teach and preach the Gospel to everybody who will listen, and Jesus said that is what we must be doing before the end comes. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come (Matthew 24:14).
Modern technology enables us to reach untold millions of people at one time, and that is how we will evangelize the whole world. We also go in person to many nations, and multitudes come to God wherever we go. Then we leave thousands of witnesses behind to continue preaching about divinity Christmas Jesus.
The Bride must keep her mind on souls and put them above everything else. I give my heart completely for lost souls, and I am contented day and night to be with the Lord and to be praying for them. Souls are my business.
When Jesus was here, He said, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find (John 21:6). The disciples had fished all night and caught nothing; but when they did what Jesus told them to, they brought in multitudes of fish. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it [the net] for the multitude of fishes (John 21:6). And we will bring in multitudes of souls when we cast out our soul-winning nets as God tells us to.
We have only a limited time left, and the Bride is going to work just as Jesus worked. When Jesus was here, He said, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised (Luke 4:18).
God’s children are anointed to do those things, too; and we must finish Jesus’ work. Then we will hear the cry, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him (Matthew 25:6). Until that time, we must shed tears of joy, gladness and hope for a lost and dying world.
Today is the day for our cries of salvation to go forth. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation (II Corinthians 6:2). We must sound the horn of salvation all over the Earth to shake people and warn them that their last chance is now or never. If you are ever going to work for God, Child, you must do it now.
The Lord told the prophet Ezekiel, “If you don’t tell the people what I tell you to and they die in their sins, I will hold you responsible.” Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand (Ezekiel 3:17,18). The Lord then continued on saying, “If you tell them and they don’t repent, their blood will be upon them.” Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul (Ezekiel 3:19).
Jesus came to Earth on a divine mission, and He got the work done that the Father had planned for Him to do. We must now take up where Jesus left off and finish His work, and we must have both of our hands in His to be able to do that. As we take Jesus to the ends of the Earth, God will pour out His Spirit and sweep people into the Kingdom.
Devils Are Real
When Jesus was here, He told people the kind of work believers would be able to do. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18). Jesus said believers would cast out devils in His name, yet many churches don’t believe in devil possession; and they have no power to cast out devils. True men and women of God know that there are people who are devil possessed because Jesus taught it was so when He was here.
Study the story of Legion, a man possessed with at least 2000 devils. And when he [Jesus] was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him (Mark 5:2-4). The devil loves darkness, and Legion dwelt among the darkness of the dead.
But one day, Legion met the Master; and Jesus commanded all those devils to come out. For he [Jesus] said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country (Mark 5:8-10).
Those devils had to go; and to prove that they did leave, the Lord allowed them to go into a herd of pigs. And all the devils besought him [Jesus], saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea (Mark 5:12,13). Unfortunately, those devils didn’t drown, but the people saw what they did to those poor pigs.
Even devils believe in Christ’s divinity. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble (James 2:19). Some devils even acknowledged Jesus when He was here. And when he [Jesus] was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time (Matthew 8:28,29)?
Those devils knew they were going to be cast out and that Jesus could cast them into hell ahead of their time, and believers can do the same thing through the power of God. The devil will say that it can’t happen, but he is a liar. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it (John 8:44).
Give to God
We must help divinity Jesus make miracles, and we can do that by giving Him something to work with just as the little boy with the food basket did in Jesus’ day. Many people had followed Jesus to the Sea of Galilee, and He knew they were hungry; so He asked His disciples what He could do to feed them. One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him, There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten (John 6:8-13). That boy gave Jesus his basket of a few loaves and fishes, and Jesus used it to feed a crowd of thousands. What a great miracle!
You may wonder what you can give Jesus to work with. One thing is your tithes and offerings, but many won’t do that; and they have lost everything or even been destroyed because they robbed God. Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me (Malachi 3:8,9).
God said, The tenth [the tithe] shall be holy unto the LORD (Leviticus 27:32). He also said, Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). When you share with God, He will give you more than you need.
Celebrate Christmas All Year
I think it is wonderful to celebrate the birth of Christ on Christmas day; and I am glad that whether people believe in Jesus or not, they are brought to the attention of the Savior’s birth. But celebrating the Lord’s birth just one day is certainly not enough. A true, divinity Christmas belongs to children of God, and it should last from one year to the next in God’s fullness and greatness and in all the powers of Heaven.
Jesus was a perfect man; and the Bible says, Mark [which means celebrate] the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace (Psalm 37:37). Coming to church to honor and worship the Lord is truly a way to celebrate His birth all year. Does He mean enough to you that you will refrain from your normal schedule and go to the house of the Lord to honor, praise and glorify Him?
You may ask why we should celebrate His birth every day, every hour and every minute; and the answer can be found in the angel Gabriel’s salutation to Mary, the Earth mother of Jesus. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end (Luke 1:31-33).
The Lord also let Isaiah know that Jesus would be great; and Isaiah prophesied, Therefore will I divide him [Jesus] a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors (Isaiah 53:12).
Jesus Is Above All
The Pharisees in Jesus’ day never celebrated Him because they would not go beyond their traditions of the temple, the Jewish law and so forth; but Jesus said, But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple (Matthew 12:6). Traditions may keep many people from celebrating Jesus, but they are the ones who are missing out because Jesus is great and mighty.
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places (Ephesians 1:19,20).
That heavenly place is a place of power, and the Bible says that the Lord will set His holy, obedient ones in heavenly places as well. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:4-6). If you are sitting in a heavenly place today, you should be one of the happiest people on Earth. You may be carrying a heavy load, but you can still have divine peace and fullness.
God has set Jesus far above anything or anyone on this Earth. Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all (Ephesians 1:21-23).
Jesus shares what He has with us. He supplies us the fullness of His strength, His love, His faith and His power. He gives us everything we need to make us real soldiers of the Cross and witnesses for Him.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name (Philippians 2:9). Jesus is the most valuable gift that God Almighty has ever given. He told me one time that He gave His whole heart when He allowed His Son, Jesus, to be crucified on a cruel cross. If people turn away Christ and His love, there is nothing else that can save them.
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth [the devil and his demons]; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10,11). One day, everything that hath breath will praise the Lord.
Jesus Made All Things Possible
When Jesus was baptized, those around Him heard a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased (Matthew 3:17). The Lord can also say that about many of His true children today.
Jesus was the Word made flesh. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14). We who are God’s children are full of grace and truth, too. We are full of the things of Heaven; and we recognize the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). We know the truth, and we are free to serve God in every way needed just like Jesus served the Father and always did His will.
You must believe that God can do anything just as Jesus said He could. All things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23). “Believeth” means you have to continue to believe, and you do that through faith. That is why you must contend for and use the faith that was once delivered to the saints. It was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1:3).
You cannot please God without that faith. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6). When you use that faith, then you can delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart (Psalm 37:4). God will move if you are holy and using divine faith, love, peace, goodness and mercy.
Rejoice in the King
Jesus came to be a king to all who will accept Him. But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting (Micah 5:2).
Some people recognized Him for the King He was. Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel (John 1:49). Others did not.
And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews (Matthew 27:29)!
During the Battle of Armageddon, the Bible tells us, He hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS (Revelation 19:16). Jesus is greater than all the kings who have ever come and gone. He said, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord (Revelation 1:8).
We must allow Jesus to be King in our hearts every day, and we must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him (John 4:23).
Jesus is God’s living gift to us. He said, I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh [my life], which I will give for the life of the world (John 6:51). Jesus willingly gave His life for mankind, so we must give our all to Him just as Paul did. He said, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me (Galatians 2:20).
We cannot see our King today, but that doesn’t matter. The Bible says, Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory (I Peter 1:8). That joy must always remain in you. Rejoice in the Lord alway [forever]: and again I say, Rejoice (Philippians 4:4). That is an eternal joy that must continue on in the lives of those who celebrate Jesus. Our rejoicing will never cease.
Jesus said, These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full (John 15:11). You can always be full of divine joy when you turn all of your troubles over to Jesus. He said, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28). Unload any burdens you have that are not for souls, and you will have victory.
Always Magnify the Lord
You must never forget Christ’s birth and ultimate sacrifice. Refrain from always going about your own schedule and set aside time to honor and magnify Him. Allow Him to enlarge Himself in your heart today. The mother of Jesus said, My soul doth magnify the Lord (Luke 1:46). Her soul was enlarged with God’s wisdom, knowledge, love and power. Paul told the Corinthians, Be ye also enlarged (II Corinthians 6:13).
God gave the Psalmist knowledge of the need for an enlarged heart, one that is enlarged with God’s greatness. He said, I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart (Psalm 119:32). He also said, Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip [He did not faint.] (Psalm 18:36). He was speaking of his heart.
When you allow the Lord to enlarge your heart with divine love, you will have the fullness of Christ; but when you don’t take time to honor and magnify Jesus in your heart, you become larger in self and in ego. Then you are just like the hypocrites who enlarge the outer man so men will celebrate them.
I never want people to think I am anything great. I want them to see the greatness of God in me because I know I am wonderfully made for God’s purpose. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well (Psalm 139:14). I always seek to do God’s will.
Let’s celebrate Jesus now and forevermore. The Psalmist said, I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name forevermore (Psalm 86:12). He also said, O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together (Psalm 34:3). That says it all, and that is what we must do every day by using all of God’s many promises. He has promised to give us everything we need to enlarge our hearts and souls.
Magnify the Lord and let Him be big within you. Let Him walk inside of you all the time, and never do anything that would displease Him even just a little bit. I have always told the Lord that if I am doing anything that displeases Him, I want Him to let me know; and then I won’t stop until I take care of it.
Celebrate Jesus through Salvation
The Gospel, the new and living way that Jesus brought, is your greatest possession every day of the year; and it can be yours forever. Are you honoring God for it? Do you thank Him for sending Jesus? For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved (John 3:16,17).
Salvation is so simple when you look at it the way God planned it. Jesus didn’t come to condemn us but to save us. Even so, many people have rejected Him; and thus saith the Lord, judgments are now falling all over the world. Things are going to get worse because God is angry; and the Bible says, It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God (Hebrews 10:31).
You never want that to happen to you, so you must reason with God about your soul and get rid of all guilt and shame. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool (Isaiah 1:18). Jesus is the only way to Heaven; and He said, No man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6).
If you are a sinner or a backslider, don’t go to hell. I have given you the true light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and you must celebrate that Gospel every day. Put your trust in the blood, and the Lord will wash away all of your sins so you can be a new creation in Christ Jesus. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (II Corinthians 5:17).
Say this prayer right now: Oh, God, I am a sinner. I am lost, but I am coming to you. I confess that Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary; and I believe in His blood that He shed on Calvary. You said if we would confess our sins, you would forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness; so I confess all of my sins, and I do believe the blood of Jesus washes them all away. Come into my heart, Jesus. Come on in! If you meant that prayer, He has come; and He is yours. What a Savior!
That holy, Christmas night with all its mighty benefits must be in your heart. Hide the Lord’s holy promises in your heart, as well as the truth that was born that night so you will never again sin against Him.
You Can Be Healed
Now, you can have a miracle, and the Lord heals everything. Jesus healed a sinner and said, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee (John 5:14).
God has gifted me with His healing power to deliver people in the blood name of Jesus, but you have to live for God. The divine holiness and righteousness of the little King and the presence of Heaven have made it possible. It is the will of God for you to be healed through divine healing from Heaven. Faith in God heals the sick.
You may be suffering in body with AIDS or some other deadly disease or you may be an invalid, but the hand of the Lord will come upon you. You may have heart trouble or cancer, but the Lord can re-create your heart and cleanse your body. If you have a back condition, let Him make you whole. If you need a hip or knee replacement, God can do that, too.
We believe in good doctors, good hospitals and good medicines; but when man has done all he can do, the Lord is ready to help you with His divine miracles and healings. He has done those things for thousands through this Jesus ministry.
Take your miracle today, knowing that His promises are true. Trust the Lord and His divine blood. Lord, lay a healing hand on all those who need a miracle today. Heal those who need heart and lung miracles. Re-create any organs that need to be re-created and heal all those suffering with AIDS, cancer or any other deadly disease. Lord, make them all completely whole. Set free all who are bound with paralysis just as you have set so many people free through this Jesus ministry. Heal! in the precious, blood name of Jesus. Heal!
The greatness of that holy night in Bethlehem is still here, so you can be healed from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet. Be thou made whole!
Thus Saith the Lord
I am your Lord; I am your God, and I am working for thee so you can do more work for me. You have such a short time to do the rest of my work. Let every day and every hour count. Be watching, for I am coming for those who are watching for me, saith the Lord.
