How wonderful to know that God has provided salvation through the blood of Jesus! But to qualify for salvation, you must meet His conditions. What are His conditions for salvation? That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9). If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9). Through the blood, God will cleanse every sin from those coming to Him. And the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin (I John 1:7). Just as the blood of Jesus can cleanse people of all sin, it can cleanse people of all sicknesses, too. We find that healing is part of the two-fold atonement: With his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). With His blood stripes we are healed. Had there been no blood in those stripes, we would not have healing; but divine blood was there.

When God sees you using the blood, you have deliverance. When He sees you using the blood for your healing, the healing is yours. God has provided the blood for more than salvation of your soul; God wants you to use it for your healing also. The blood applied to your soul will take you to Heaven, but why not accept the full atonement and receive the healing you need for your body? Through the blood you can have deliverance.

Accept the fact that the blood can cleanse you from sickness as well as sin. Everyone can qualify, can meet the conditions the Word sets forth.

Salvation and healing are miracles that Jesus’ blood brought about, blood that was the result of the miraculous conception.

Very man as well as very God, Jesus had an earth mother but a heavenly Father. The father furnishes all the blood, not the mother. Since Mary had been overshadowed by the Holy Ghost, no human blood flowed through Jesus; all of His blood was divine. Jesus was a human being with divine blood. Discern what great power is in the blood for any deliverance you may need.

If you believe in the virgin birth, why should you doubt the blood and its power? Divine blood from Heaven was in Jesus; not one drop of that divine blood was contaminated by the human race. Divine blood has the cure for cancer, heart trouble, diabetes, AIDS, or any other disease and sickness. Just as people can be delivered from their sins, they can be delivered from sickness and devil possession. The blood delivers people addicted to drugs, alcohol or cigarettes. It’s all through the blood, saith the Lord; it’s all through the blood.

If you have an affliction, put it under the blood. Put deformities under the blood. The blood is sufficient. It has not lost its power; the blood has all power.

Meet the Spirit of the Lord

Recognize and accept in your heart what is in the blood so you can meet the Spirit of the blood with the Holy Spirit in your heart. Some of you have tried to meet the Lord for healing, but because you didn’t meet the Spirit that is in the blood, you failed to receive.

People have written me demanding to know why sinners have received healing when they as children of God did not. The sinners in that moment they were prayed for accepted the blood all the way; they met the qualifications and were healed.

It is easier to deliver devil-possessed people than to deliver some Christians who know about the blood but don’t qualify to use all that is in the blood. Why don’t they qualify? They don’t qualify because they haven’t accepted in their spirit what is in the blood. The Lord gave me this. I never heard anyone preach it. The Lord told me that a person must meet the Spirit of the blood to qualify.

The blood is all-powerful; it has all the power of God in it. Why would you have misgivings about the blood? Why have second thoughts concerning the ability of the blood to heal you of any disease or affliction? We expect sinners to be cleansed of their sins—something medical science could never do. Why should receiving healing be more difficult than that? Why not step out, let the blood cover that affliction or disease and know that it’s gone? Put it under the blood and leave it there. Accept the delivering power in the blood.

The wonderful Spirit of the blood is composed of many great things, all the traits and characteristics that Jesus displayed when He walked the earth, and He has made them available to you. If you reject anything in the blood, you weaken your position to receive its benefits.

Partakers of the Divine Nature

All who are born again have been made partakers of Jesus: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature (II Peter 1:4). Being partakers of His divine nature means that divine blood is within. You who are born again have had a blood transfusion; divine blood flows in your veins as well as human blood. It’s wonderful when you know that you are a partaker of the divine blood that flowed in Jesus, that His divine blood is now a part of you!

Man in Eden had divine blood; he was not meant to function without divinity. When God created him, he was a partaker of the divine nature of God. Had man kept that divine nature by staying free from sin, the body would never have decayed or grown old. This shows you the greatness of the blood of Jesus. God didn’t intend for the body to decay; man and woman were never to have been sick. Had man and woman not sinned, contaminating the bloodstream and forcing divinity out, they never would have known unhappiness, sicknesses, diseases, or death. Adam and Eve destroyed divine blood for the human race.

The Passover Lamb

If you want great understanding of the Scriptures, go back to the first time a subject was mentioned. The first mention is the groundwork; it always shines more light on your understanding of the subject. This principle will help you again and again.

On the eve of Israel’s deliverance from Egyptian bondage, they observed their first Passover. They were to eat the lamb’s body, a type of our sacrificial Lamb, Jesus Christ. One blemish in a lamb would cause it to be rejected for the Passover. The Lord gave these instructions to Moses: And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt (Exodus 12:7,13). The blood on the doorposts meant the Israelites were protected from the death angel. The blood-token saved the Israelites, a token of the blood of Jesus.

Today we don’t need to rely on a token; we have the real thing, the precious blood of Jesus that was spilled on Calvary. Jesus brought divine blood for our salvation and for our healing. And the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you. Just as it protects your soul, the blood will protect your body when you use it.

From Adam until Jesus the second Adam, divine blood was not available to people. But since Jesus became our sacrificial Lamb, it is available to everyone. When I see the blood, I will pass over you. The blood is for you to use; it brings protection. When he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you (Exodus 12:23). The devil destroys, sickness destroys. The Lord will not allow that destruction to come to you when you use the blood in all faith believing. The blood is well able to overcome the one seeking to destroy.

The blood is sufficient. Jesus said, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness (II Corinthians 12:9). When the Lord said His grace is sufficient, He was saying that His blood is sufficient. We don’t have that grace without His blood.

The Power of a Token

For the destruction to pass over the Israelites, they had to meet certain qualifications, carefully follow instructions. It’s the same for us. The Lord has given us instructions: Use the blood of Jesus, accept what is in the blood.

The slain lamb, remember, was a token to the Israelites of the divine blood brought down from Heaven that would be given on Calvary in the supreme sacrifice. It was a token honored by the Lord. Since the Lord honored that token so completely, you must know He will honor the real thing: the spilled blood of His precious Son.

Since God allowed the blood in the token of the lamb to deliver His people from the death angel, think what the real blood will do for those who have death working in their bodies!

A token stands for something genuine. A bus token, for example, has money to back it up. The blood of the Passover lamb represented the real thing: the divine blood that once had been in Adam and Eve. The devil couldn’t have destroyed it; only when Adam and Eve gave over to the devil was the blood rendered powerless to work for them any longer. God had made man and woman free moral agents, free to obey or disobey God. How tragic that they chose disobedience! It caused the downfall of the whole human race.

A Scarlet Thread

We see another vivid token of the blood in the book of Joshua. Joshua sent two men to spy out Jericho. While they were in the city, the harlot Rahab protected them. And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country. And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were: And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went, I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them (Joshua 2:2,4,5).

Rahab protected the Israelite spies and helped them escape because she realized that the hand of the Lord was upon them. She had heard how the Lord had dried up the Red Sea and how Israel had utterly destroyed the two kings of the Amorites. The hearts of Israel’s enemies became like water for fear. Because she had a mind God could use, because she believed the signs of God, Rahab was given a revelation of Israel’s victory. She recognized the almighty power of God and realized that the idol gods of her people were useless. Knowing the city would fall into the hands of Israel and be destroyed, Rahab had one request: a true token to assure her that she and her father’s house would be saved.

The spies honored her request. They said: Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father’s household home unto thee. And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him (Joshua 2:18,19).

When the city was taken by Israel, the young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel. And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father’s household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho (Joshua 6:23,25).

The token of the blood, the scarlet thread, had so much power that a whole family was saved. I say again, since a token can be so powerful, think what the divine blood of Jesus will do for you, soul, mind and body. The scarlet thread became Rahab’s faith, her assurance and insurance; and she had peace. She didn’t keep begging for safety. She asked for a true token and when it was given, she believed the promise of deliverance, and she gathered her family into her house. Treasuring the scarlet thread, she held it more dear than silver and gold. It was life to her.

Discern the Lord’s Body

As the token was life to Rahab and her family, the blood of Jesus is life to you, physical and spiritual life. That life, however, is in jeopardy if you do not discern the blood. The Bible tells us in Paul’s writing to the church at Corinth that he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep (I Corinthians 11:29,30). All could have had healing through the divine blood that Jesus brought, but many were weak, sickly, and had died before their time because they had not discerned the Lord’s body, not discerned the power in the blood. They had not discerned the sacrificial Lamb.

Jesus Gave Himself for Us and to Us

Jesus belongs to us; He gave Himself for us and to us. Jesus—divinity—had hands like ours; He could hurt like we hurt. He walked, talked like a man; He took on a human mind and used it always through the greatness available from Heaven. The Bible tells us to take on the mind of Christ. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5). Had Christ been born with a divine mind, we could rightfully say it is impossible to have a mind like His. However, He was in human form; He took on a mind like we have. It was a mind that reached for and used all the wonderful things of Heaven and made them part of His mind; Heaven shaped the mind of Christ. All the power of Heaven that Jesus used is offered to us. The Lord visited me, telling me the many things that were a part of His mind when He was on earth. When you take on the mind of Christ, that overcoming power can be yours.

Divine healing gave sight to the blind when Jesus prayed. Had Jesus not had divine blood, He wouldn’t have gone everywhere healing people. But divine blood, divine healing delivered the people. Jesus went about all Galilee…healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people (Matthew 4:23). The power of that blood came forth in Jesus’ voice; He would speak, command the miracle to be done and it was. Divine blood performed not only healing but also fantastic miracles—and it is still at work today. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to-day and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

Divine Power in the Disciples

The disciples received Jesus’ divine blood, and after Pentecost they, like Jesus, commanded the miracles to be done and miracles took place. Divine power dwelled on the inside of them. Spending much time in prayers, they were “prayed up” and ready to be used. When they met a person in need of healing, they were prepared.

In studying divine healing from Heaven, how it operates, I have found that faith in God heals the sick. How can you have faith in God if you don’t have faith in the shed blood of His Son Jesus? If you don’t have faith in His shed blood, you don’t have faith in His divinity. That means you have no Savior, no Redeemer for your life. Jesus is not your sacrificial Lamb if you reject His divine saving blood, for then you are not meeting the qualifications of the blood. To meet the qualifications of the blood, you must meet the love in the blood with the love that the Lord has made available to you.

Healing Is the Children’s Bread

When a Gentile woman came to Jesus asking that He heal her daughter, Jesus referred to healing as the children’s bread (Mark 7:27). You as a child of God are covered with the blood. All that is in the blood belongs to you as long as you qualify—healing is your bread. You need what is in the blood: love, faith, healing, miracles, hope, compassion, righteousness, holiness, strength of God, and much, much more.

If you have the blood applied to your heart, you should be exercising the characteristics of the blood and the fruits of the Spirit. If the fruits of the Spirit are not being produced in your life, you hinder healing, delay it. You are not meeting the qualifications.

Put Sickness under the Blood

By faith learn to put your diseases, your deformities, your sicknesses under the blood, and be delivered. If you have another ache or pain, know that it can’t be the disease—the disease is under the blood. That is the way I received healing. The Lord taught me to put the problem under the blood. I decided: Why, I can’t have that! I put it under the blood! It can’t stay in my system. It’s conquered. It has to go no matter if I do have more symptoms. It has to leave, and leave it does. Some of you put your sins under the blood, only to wake up one morning and think they had come back. But you used your faith; you knew you hadn’t committed any sin, and you began to rejoice in your salvation. Your sins had been cast into the sea of forgetfulness, buried so deep they could never get back as long as you keep the blood of Jesus applied to your heart.

Sickness and Sin Are of the Devil

Do you think the Lord would bury your sins in the sea of forgetfulness but hold your sicknesses in His hands and give them back to you? Sickness does not come from God; it comes from the devil. That’s the reason no sickness will be in Heaven; it is not of God.

The blood can deliver you of anything from the devil—any spirit, any oppression. The blood, the power in the blood is power over every demonic spirit, over all demon forces. The power of God in the blood of Jesus takes over, brings the powers of the devil under subjection, defeating those powers.

In Kitwe, Zambia, thousands of devil possessed people rose up at one time and started after me because I was preaching the truth, telling the preachers to get everyone in witchcraft and sorcery out of their churches or God would push the ministers out. It set the place aflame and stirred up the devil. But through the power of God, many thousands of people were delivered from demon possession in just one service of that mighty crusade. The devil’s army became the Lord’s army.

People are healed in my services because the blood of Jesus is in action. I meet the qualifications of the blood for myself and for people coming to me for healing, and they are healed. For the heathen I can use all my faith because they do not yet have the knowledge of how to use the blood. I can’t use all my faith for those to whom the Lord has given knowledge of how to accept healing. If the Lord has given you knowledge of faith, He expects you to use it, to join your faith with mine when I pray for you. As a child of the King, you are a partaker of the divine blood.

Value the Close Walk

To walk close to God, you have the blood anointing to meet the Spirit of the blood, saith the Lord. The Lord gives you that anointing when you walk close to Him. Walking close to God you have that compassion found in the thirteenth chapter of I Corinthians; you have that faith illustrated in the eleventh chapter of Hebrews.

What will you do with all these wonderful available helps? Will you be like the rich miser who starved to death because he wouldn’t use what was available? Money by itself won’t keep you from starving; money is the means to buy what you need. If you don’t use the money, you won’t receive its benefits. The love of money, not money, is the root of all evil. God often uses money to supply our needs, and we must use what He provides.

God made Adam and Eve in perfection. They were never to have died, never to have been sick. God told Adam to dress, to take care of the Garden. Adam was given something to do. If you think you will have nothing to do in Heaven, you are mistaken. Heaven is a busy place, and what we find there to do will be a joy. Before we reach Heaven, however, a harvest of souls is waiting to be won here on earth. There is much to do in this last hour to evangelize the world. Our work down here is in a cursed world. The ground has its curse; many people have accepted the curse of sin and are hard to work with. But in Heaven, everyone will be happy, holy, sweet, full of faith—and busy.

Use all the benefits of the blood working inside you. Using the blood benefits, you receive healing more easily from God, for then you are meeting His healing with His Spirit within you. Remember, you meet the Spirit in the blood with the Holy Spirit that dwells in your spirit. Your spirit and the blood match when your spirit is yielded to the workings of the divine blood.

The blood has in it divine compassion, divine faith, divine love, divine strength, divine healing, divine miracles—divine, divine, divine. Do you believe in divine miracles? Do you believe in divine healing? All your divine healings and miracles for soul, mind and body come through Calvary’s flow.

Divinity to Help You Use the Blood

The Holy Ghost came to help you use the blood, to use all the power in the blood. Everything you need is in the blood. You need divinity to help you use the blood so that the Holy Ghost can come to set up His abode on the inside of you. Jesus told the disciples: It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth (John 16:7,13). Just before He ascended to Heaven, Jesus commanded the disciples to receive the Holy Ghost. And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence (Acts 1:4,5). When you work with the Holy Spirit, your spirit flows with the Spirit in the blood. As the two flow together, they match; all things then are possible because you’re believing. The Lord said, All things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23).

Healing is simple, but if you try to make it difficult, you stumble over it. When spiritually discerned, healing isn’t a deep hidden mystery; it’s simple. Only if you try to discern divine healing with the human spirit is it beyond you.

Treasure God’s Promises in Your Heart

The promises of divinity must be in your heart before they can be in your mind. Keep the blood operating. When God sees you using the blood, meeting the qualifications of the blood, meeting the Spirit of the blood, He will move, destroy that which would seek to destroy you.

Ask what you will. Jesus said, If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you (John 15:7). You can’t abide in Jesus unless you abide in His blood. You must accept His blood or there is no abiding in Him. Unless you accept His blood you have no divinity within. If you abide in Him, and His Word abides in you, you can ask what you will. How sad that most Christians doubt this marvelous promise!

Ask for God’s Will

Your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him (Matthew 6:8).

Learn how to ask for the will of God and then leave the matter in His hands. The Holy Spirit will help you know the will of God so you can ask accordingly. When you walk and live in the Spirit, you ask according to the will of God, for you want nothing else. When you are that obedient, you never ask for things outside God’s will. You know how to ask for that which is His will. Divine healing, for example, is God’s will for you.

Always I keep a standing order before the throne of God: Lord, any prayer I pray, if it is not your divine will, don’t answer. I don’t want God’s permissible will; I must have His divine will. I pray in the righteousness and faith of God and then leave the matter in His hands knowing He will go into action at the proper time. If He doesn’t touch the matter, I don’t either. If He doesn’t move with it, I don’t move with it. If He picks it up and goes with it, I’m right with Him. I have a plain path because the Lord is moving with what I need, what I asked him to do. When He moves, it’s time for me to move, too. I don’t intend to stay in the wilderness while He is moving toward Canaan. I wait on the Lord.

Mount Up with Wings Like Eagles

Never accept the wrong kind of faith that would cause you to get ahead of God, launch into fanaticism or become swallowed up by false doctrine. You need only one kind of faith: God’s faith. Wait upon the Lord. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). How can you mount up like the eagle? You can’t fly without wings unless you fly through the blood. The blood love, blood faith make blood wings to fly, to rise up above hindrances, afflictions, hurts, and worries. Flying, flying in the grace and power of the blood, you will find your strength renewed. The God of miracles lives.

Thus Saith the Lord

Yea, saith the Spirit of the Lord: I’m in the midst of this people. I gave my servant my blood message for you, and if you will accept my blood message and use it daily, I will be able to deliver you, saith the Lord. But you must not fail. You must yield to the Spirit of my blood, saith the Lord. Yield to divinity.

I have given you my greatness. I have given you my power, even to trample devils underfoot. And why can’t you trample those sicknesses and diseases and afflictions underfoot when I have given you the power to do so? I have given you the power. I have given you the strength. I have offered all things needed. Why, why won’t you use it? Why will you use it temporarily? Why don’t you use it all the time? And why don’t you reach out and claim through the blood that which is yours? You reached out for your salvation, but you stopped short of receiving all that you need; and you need to reach out. It is my will for you to be well. It is my will for you to be in good health. It is my will. And I have offered you healing, your miracles again and again; and you did not meet the Spirit of my blood. Yield to me now and let my Holy Spirit guide you and direct you, and victory will be yours.

God’s eternal Word has all power, the same power it had when He spoke the universe into existence. Learn how to handle the Word of God; it holds great benefits for His children. The Bible is the divine Word of the Almighty God, the eternal great I-Am. What God has done for others, He can do for you. Divine healing has been provided for you in the precious, spilled blood of Jesus, healing for soul, mind and body. Reach out and claim what is rightfully yours.
