His [Jesus’] mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it (John 2:5). In this verse, the mother of Jesus gives us the secret to receiving from God—Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. At a wedding in Cana of Galilee, Jesus instructed the servants to make certain preparations that were necessary before He performed a miracle.

Even for a chore as common as shopping, you first have to get ready. When buying a house, you lay much groundwork and prepare in different ways. There are plans to be made for buying a new car as well, yet it has never occurred to some to prepare for a miracle. They think receiving from God is just a hit-skip-miss thing that requires no responsibility on their part. They may give it a try to see if it works, but that is about it.

Do you try to find the logic behind receiving a miracle? We are taught that man’s logic is a good thing, but the problem with that is that miracles are not logical. When man’s logic interferes with believing God’s miracles, logic becomes a stumbling block because God does not think like a man. The Bible tells us, For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:9).

If you approach miracles with logic, you will never receive much from God. He is a faith God, and faith requires the denial of the five senses if God’s promises are to be totally accepted. The Lord pushes aside logical minds that reject the things of God, and they are in turn rejected by the Holy Spirit. God works wherever He finds His faith in human hearts, and faith simply cannot be reasoned out. For he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6).

Ask, Seek, Knock

The Bible says, God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith (Romans 12:3); and God adds more faith to anyone who wants it. Don’t beg God for faith. He never intended you to stay awake all night begging Him for anything, and the Bible does not tell us to beg. It says, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened (Matthew 7:7,8).

Ask, seek and knock—not one loophole of doubt can be found in those things. All three are positive arrows shooting forth and penetrating the darkness to defeat the enemy for you. If you would only realize this and believe it, the Lord could work so many miracles in your life.

The Mind of God Is Given to Us

The Word of God must come to life for you personally; it must live in your heart. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you (John 15:7). If there is anything in the Bible you do not understand, don’t worry about it. Just take it by faith and wait until the Lord opens your understanding. I expect to find things in the Bible I don’t understand because, unlike any other book ever written, the Bible is the mind of God given to us. The Word is real; believe it all.

Holy, consecrated men of old were used by the Holy Spirit to write down the mind of God in words. It took years of conditioning by the Holy Spirit to prepare the minds God used to pass down His Word to us. Men had to be taken to the deepest of valleys to be prepared for the highest mountain peaks of God’s grace, so the Holy Word of the Lord could be poured out to them and through them.

People do not realize the sweat, blood and agony that went into the writing of this Book. Men were beaten down, trampled on, tortured and almost totally destroyed. When they stood the test, they were lifted up into a place where God could use them; and now, our path to deliverance is laid out clearly in God’s promises in the Word. The least we can do is spend many, many hours with it. “Eat” the whole book and know what God has said, what He wants and what His will is.

Most people do not know the will of God for their lives. Do you believe God will heal you? You may answer, “I don’t know”; but the Bible says He will. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up (James 5:15). Then you may decide, “Well, if the Bible said it, I’ll believe it.”

Most people have no knowledge of the deliverance God offers through His Word, the Holy Book of all books; and they don’t even know that God’s will for them is healing and deliverance. I am the LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26).

The Bible is the holy mind of the living God who created man in such perfection in the Garden that he wasn’t sick or sinful—until Adam and Eve fell. The Word of God instructs you about the love of God, the ways of God and the tender care of God. The Word of God shows you the path through any valley of life and points you to the highest mountain peaks of God’s grace. The Word of God tells you how to get into the presence of the Lord so that the nine gifts of the Spirit can operate through your life.

Fasting Takes You into God

No matter how much self rebels, you must do what God says; and it takes much fasting to do that. I learned that I did not have the strength to give myself completely to God until I began fasting long fasts. Jesus told us, This kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21). And so to my astonishment and amazement, I started my long, fasting journey into the greatness of God.

When I was on my first forty-day fast, it was a heavenly time! I was fed by the Holy Spirit; and I got so close to Him that angels ministered to me. It was fantastic! I had stepped into another realm for those days and weeks; and on that fortieth day, I stood on the mountaintop of God’s glory. I had won!

That fast was the greatest step I had ever taken to bridging the gulf between God and myself, and it created such a strong bridge across that gulf that I would always know my way into God. Through fasting, the angel of the Lord would come to me; and it brought me into a place where I could look into the face of an angelic being, a face I could never adequately describe. Angels became as real to me as people.

After many forty-day fasts, a message came to me from Heaven saying, “My big angel will go before you to prepare the way.” Now, I never step onto the platform without that angel being present. It is so unbelievable and yet so real.

The glory of the first experience I had of hearing an angelic being talk to me affected me physically. I felt so strange as the visitations of God came and took me into His glory until my face burned like fire. After the power of the Lord’s visitation began to lift, I would go to a mirror to see if I still looked the same because I felt so different! It seemed as though the experience should somehow show up and that my skin, my eyes or my hair should be changed.

Deliverance for the Multitudes

Walking into God’s greatness and knowing deliverance would come was marvelous, but there was a price to pay. I had to die out to self again and again. I was crushed and broken as God Himself molded and made me into the vessel He wanted me to be.

Those hours of visitation during which I was caught up with the Lord into a heavenly place were unbelievable. He told me things to come and showed me the multitudes I would win. I beheld His glory, and I knew deliverance was coming, the hour when I would have keys to the cells and prison houses of all humanity who wanted to be set free. Through Jesus, I would be able to unlock the doors for the mentally unbalanced and even for the insane.

The Lord showed me that through Jesus, people with no eyes would be able to see; and the deaf would be brought into a world of sound. Deliverance would come. Twisted bodies would suddenly become as melted wax that was poured into a mold and made straight. I would stoop down and set a little, twisted foot straight in the name of Jesus. The Lord showed me that miracles for all kinds of twisted limbs, miracles of creation and re-creation would take place because His deliverance was coming; and that deliverance is here today.

Down through the ages, deliverance has come for relatively few people; but now, saith the Lord, in this final hour of the Gentiles, deliverance will come for the multitudes. The cry of gladness will ring throughout the land, and people will behold the glory of the Lord. Those who have stayed with Him on bended knees, gone hungry in fastings and tarried hour after hour in His presence will rise up and know that this is their hour of victory. This is the hour that the Gentiles are offered the whole loaf, everything they need for soul, mind and body with nothing left out.

This Hour Is the Hour

Why look at yesterday and count yourself out when today is a new day? This is your day and your hour of victory. Many of us have been headed for this hour from the day we were born. So many of us have been chosen by God for this very hour, this very moment, saith the Lord. This is your hour of victory. It is not an hour of defeat but one of gladness, of God’s gracious love and of the might of His power being revealed.

This is the hour for whole armies of angelic beings to move in and surround one Ernest Angley miracle crusade. This is the hour of heavenly victory as well as Earth victory. It’s an hour when the heavens have opened and angels have come down to do battle. It is a glorious hour for the righteous and a fearful hour for the ungodly.

This is the hour for God’s people to take on holy boldness. Lord...grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word (Acts 4:29). Thus saith the Lord, what God did in the Acts of the Apostles is but a sample of what He is going to do in this final hour. This is the hour of all of God’s greatness for the Gentiles. Think of it! The devil said it wouldn’t happen. He said that God’s Spirit could never be poured out upon the Earth, but God said deliverance would come!

Thus saith the Lord, the miracle power will fall throughout the Earth; and all the inhabitants of the Earth will behold the glory of the Lord. Those who want Him will receive Him; and those who have been weak will become strong, saith the Lord in this final hour. God’s miracle power will stand like mighty mountains in the land, and people will rise up to call Him blessed and to receive and use His miraculous power.

What Will God Do Today?

God’s people will go in the strength of the Lord just as Elijah did in the days of old. They will travel to the Mount of God and know the greatness of God. They will recognize God and be able to separate God’s power, the power of man and the power of Lucifer.

Deliverance will come just as it came for Israel. Deliverance will come as it came for Noah. Deliverance will come as it came for the three Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace. God was so mindful of those boys that the Son of God came down from Heaven with miracle power to join them in the furnace that was heated seven times hotter than it had ever been heated before. God’s power quickly unshackled them and helped them shout, so what will He do for the millions of people on the Earth who will reach to Him in this final hour?

The angel of the Lord came flying down from Heaven straight into a den of lions and gave the lions lockjaw to protect just one man, Daniel. What will the Holy Spirit do to protect the many, many “Daniels” of today who are believing God?

The angel of the Lord came all the way from Heaven to feed only Elijah. He nursed Elijah from despair to courage and from fear and frustration to solid faith, so how many angels will be sent to the multitudes on the Earth today who will reach out in fastings and prayers, meditation and reading the Holy Word of God?

God saw the tears of Jeremiah, the weeping prophet; and He counted every tear that fell, so what will He do for the millions of tears He sees falling as we cry, “Give us the lost, Lord! Give us the lost or let us die!”?

Deliverance will come to every alcoholic who wants to be delivered from the darkness. Jesus came all the way from Heaven to minister to such a few people, so what will He do today for all the billions who now live upon the face of the Earth?

Jesus Came to Unshackle Minds

Jesus deliberately placed Himself under subjection to limits of humanity and came to Earth as a tiny mortal in the manger. He was very God, but He allowed Himself to be handled by people. He was very God in the arms of a human mother; and He grew to manhood and allowed cruel men to spit upon Him, judge Him and say all manner of evil against Him.

Men declared there was a devil in Him when Jesus did nothing but good and held out a hand to all people. They plucked out His beard, crowned Him with thorns and finally crucified Him. Then God turned out the light, and darkness settled over all of Israel. Great fear fell upon the people, but Jesus had come down for such a time as that.

After that, many would have a chance to follow Him and be delivered through His work that seemingly had touched only a few. Deliverance will come today, too.

Later, Saul came on the scene. He was well educated, filled with great zeal for the Law; and he knew it to the letter. He had a logical mind and tried to reason everything out on his own. He studied Jesus, but he did so with man’s logic and not with the faith of God. Saul did not believe Jesus was the Son of God. He had heard about the Crucifixion and decided, “He was an impostor, or He wouldn’t have died.” Saul also refused to believe the Resurrection.

One day, Jesus made a special trip back to Earth to talk to Saul; and the Lord’s power knocked Saul to the ground. In an audible voice, Jesus said, “Saul, why persecutest thou me?” Saul was down in the dust and had been made blind, and it was an hour of great frustration and confusion for him. Never had he dreamed of finding himself in such a position; and then he heard a voice say, “I am Jesus,” and Saul accepted Him. Deliverance had come to a mind bound by the enemy, and deliverance will come to you, too, if you accept it.

Some of you are in deep bondage, and your minds have to be unshackled. You have many problems constantly spinning around and around in your mind, while the devil worries others day and night over just one thought; but deliverance will come. You will have liberty to think on the love and the things of God and to enjoy His blessings. You just have to reach out for deliverance.

God’s Spirit Poured Out on All Flesh

Deliverance is yours, oh ye Gentiles of today! If you have dared to accept the promises of God, this is your hour of deliverance. The Holy Spirit has prophesied it again and again. Joel looked down through the telescope of time and said, And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath…And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Acts 2:17–19,21).

Years have gone by since that prophesy was given; but at last, these things are coming to pass. God will be real to people, and deliverance is here.

Go After Your Miracle

Remember again the words of Jesus’ mother: Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. Don’t wait for a miracle to come to you; get ready and go after what you need. Don’t sit around wishing for a miracle; reach out and take one. Claim the promises of deliverance in God’s Word. His promises are on the table for you, prepared by the Lord Himself.

Jesus suffered horrible beating and then crucifixion to bring about your deliverance. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:4,5).

Jesus made it possible for you to have the gift of the Holy Ghost; and had it not been for Calvary, you could not have the Holy Ghost. Calvary is the one requirement necessary for you to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit; your own goodness or righteousness won’t work. Many of you are trying to get “good enough” to receive the Holy Ghost when all you need is the redemption brought about through Jesus at Calvary. Without Him, we are nothing; but with Him, we have everything. Deliverance will come.

You can have your complete deliverance, but some of you have experienced the unshackling of your souls at Calvary and gone no farther. Salvation is all you thought God had to give you, so your mind remains chained. You are depressed, fearful and full of despair. You have no reality in prayer, and you have not been shown the way into God through the power of the Holy Ghost.

How tragic for man not to understand this hour we live in! The Word makes it so plain that deliverance will come to those who seek it. Receive salvation and the Holy Ghost baptism. Go after your miracle. Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2).

The Season Is Now

The Lord said we would know the season of His coming, and this is the season. We don’t know the exact moment when the rose will come to full bloom, but it is budding forth now. The leaves are all out, and the bud is beginning to open; and soon, the rose will fully bloom into a miracle of beauty. You will see.

Jesus described our hour of deliverance when He said, And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh (Luke 21:28). Walk with your head lifted up. The power of God that pulls you up is stronger than what is casting you down. Beauty comes from looking up, while depression comes from ignoring the things of God.

Look to God through the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of the living God. See the Bride of Christ being made healthy and clothed in the goodness of God. See her taking on great courage in this final hour as she awaits her Groom’s return. She is getting ready every day because she knows that her Lord could come at any moment. She is perfuming herself with divine frankincense and myrrh and anointing herself with His love and grace. The members of the bridal company are one mighty army upon the face of the Earth.

The Bible says, Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution (II Timothy 3:12). Jesus said, Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets (Luke 6:26). As part of the Bride, you will be despised by many. You will be persecuted and cast down; but if you are busy listening in on Heaven, you will have no time to let hurtful words register. Deliverance will come. Lift up your heads and get ready to leave this place! Be bold and be a wonderful witness of God’s love.

Jesus Will Soon Come

Pity those who are walking in the night because they will soon be destroyed, and they know it not. The only light they have now is the light of God’s love shining through us. God sends the rain and the sunshine upon the Earth because His people are here, but they will soon be gone; and then the moon, the stars and the sun will refuse to shine on the ungodly. You can read about it in the book of Revelation. People will be running around terrified and crying for the rocks and mountains to fall on them. Deliverance had come in the form of Jesus, but they wanted no part of it.

The strength and the power of God are yours. Deliverance and liberation are yours in the holy power of the Lord. You were raised up for this hour, and deliverance will come. Deliverance for soul, mind and body has already come for many of you; but soon, that great, glorious deliverance will happen in a twinkling of an eye. The Rapture will take place, and Jesus will gather His own unto Himself.

Where will you be when suddenly you hear, “Behold the Bridegroom cometh! Go ye out to meet Him”? You will feel that liquid fire of the anointing of the Holy Spirit sweep over you to deliver you and give you your new body, and it will be much greater than anything you have ever experienced before. You will look at your glorified hands for the first time and then reach up to touch your glorified face knowing that you have won. You will be changed in a moment of time and caught up to be with the Lord forever.

Never again can you be touched with sickness or death, and there will be no grave for your body. You will suddenly step into the life of Heaven. Death will reach out for you, but you will be gone. Deliverance will have come; and the godly will be delivered from all evil men, from hatred and from everything unpleasant and unholy.

Deliverance will come just as deliverance has already come for us in many ways and swept us into clouds of victory through the power of the Holy Ghost. We are mounting up higher and higher until complete deliverance will be ours. It is the season. Deliverance will be ours because Jesus Christ of Nazareth lives.

Jesus is our Savior, Lord, Baptizer and soon-coming King. Reach out for Him now. You will find everything you need when you accept Him and all of His promises completely. God will do what He said He would do. Deliverance will come. The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles (Psalm 34:17). And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered (Joel 2:32).

Thus Saith the Lord

Thus saith the Lord, I am healing your broken spirit. I am taking away the scars. I am taking away the weakness, and I am taking away sickness and diseases. I will you to have my strength. I will you to have my greatness working in you. I stretch forth my hand, and your needs will be supplied when you accept what I offer you.

I have given you my faith so I could serve you my greatness; and yet, you do not use my faith like you should. You do not behold my hand; and you turn away still weak, still sick, still hurt and scarred. And yet my Spirit crieth unto you, “You can be free! You can have deliverance! You can have strength from your God!” Yet you won’t accept it.

I have offered you so much, and some of you have accepted little. You can have much. This is your hour to have much. My Spirit is working day and night. My Spirit is working with the whole person. My Spirit is working with the minds of human beings.

Oh my people, yield your minds to me. Let me deliver you. Let me do all that I want to do for you. You turn aside and go away empty when you could go away full. Reach out, and you will find your help. Reach out with my faith and receive, saith the Lord.

I will give you my Spirit to pray. I will give you my Spirit to understand my Word. I will give you my Spirit to fast. I will give you my Spirit of love and grace. Let me bless you like I want to bless you. Let me make you like I long to make you—into the vessel that you can be made into, a vessel of honor in your Lord’s service. Yield to my Spirit, saith the Lord, and deliverance will be yours.
